Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: Caylees Autopsy Revelations Part I

Orlando, FL– Under heavy objection last Friday afternoon, Judge Stan Strickland denied the motion on behalf of George and Cindy Anthony to seal Caylee Marie Anthonys autopsy until their daughter Caseys capital murder trial in their granddaughters death. Late Friday afternoon, the Findings of Dr. Jan Garavaglia, Chief Medical Examiner of Orange County were released. In Part I, we explore a few of the notable findings, In Development for Part II, Blinkoncrime will be is creating an interactive 3D Model, incorporating the evidence recovery field, bone disbursement pattern, and anatomical example of the duct tape placement.

The Laundry Bag

WhitneyLaundryBagAlthough the report contains a significant amount of anthropologic and forensic data, it does not contain photos or X-Rays, pursuant to the Earnhardt exclusion under Florida Law. Blinkoncrime.com will attempt to offer some observations and in some cases, correct some erroneous information that is being reported in the msm. For starters, the laundry bag picture being circulated, it is incorrect, the image to the left is the correct bag, note the dimensions are exact. The top of this bag does not cinch.

The Duct Tape

I have seen rampant speculation on the duct tape beginning around 15 minutes following the release of the report.  DuctThere are many who believe that Casey Anthony killed her child by wrapping her nose and mouth with duct tape. Allow me to point out the report actually reflects the antithesis of this theory. First, there IS NO TAPE ON THE POSTERIOR of her skull. The only posterior placement of the tape mentioned is still located on the mandible, or face. The tape, which was actually small strips of grey cloth-based, delaminating tape is applied on top of itself, not really feasible with a live toddler. Given the findings that Caylee’s mandible stayed in almost true anatomical position, although slightly posterior and that the hair that was attached to the tape extended from the back of her head and over her head and face, it is likely Caylee was laying on her back when the tape was applied.  Henkel makes 2 kinds of duct tape, one is more Industrial grade of adhesive “hot set” over cloth designed for waterproof and outdoor projects. It has not yet been disclosed which formulation was used.

The O Sign

A contributing poster at blinkoncrime gave me something to think about that had not occurred to me. I am on record stating I do believe that Casey Anthony murdered her daughter, and that she will end up pointing the finger at one or both of her parents as a defense strategy.

However, the duct tape never really fit for me. I have always believed it to be a post mortem tactic to stage a kidnapping. I do believe I may have been wrong. Very well known to medical and critical care professionals, there is something called an O effect; occurring at very near death, or shortly following death and before rigormortis sets in.

Some medical people refer to it when the person is very near death or has just died–the jaw drops open. Nothing left to hold the mandible shut. In morgue kits there is a strap that is applied around the jaw to gently close it before rigor sets in. This “O” sign can be very pronounced and unsettling to see first hand. Casey probably wasn’t aware of this and was really spooked by this silent scream and used the duct tape then put a heart sticker on it as a ________

This makes sense to me. The tape is applied in small strips across the nose and mouth areas, catching her hair in the face over the Coronal plane region. One interpretation that may be drawn is that Caylee was lying on her back, upon seeing what Casey had done to her child as evidenced by the relaxed mandible; she attempted to “fix her”. As if covering up the evidence of death on her baby would change things, complete with a heart sticker. No sooner did I arrive at this conclusion on Saturday, did I see Dr.Michael Baden appear on Geraldo Live on Sunday evening bringing up the mortuary kit issue. I am not saying this idea originated here, not that it would be the first time, but it at least tells me there is corroboration within the forensic Medical community as to the premise. The FBI report on the duct tape has not been released. One thing is certain, what I have been stating all along about Casey’s prints being on the duct tape seems foreboding. With multiple strips of tape, chances are there are several. The defense has had this report for months, is this why Casey Anthony retained Todd Macaluso?

Swim Diaper?

There are several remnants recovered that are described as a diaper or pull ip item. However, there are a few that appear to be strictly synthetic. When I read the report, my immediate reaction based on some of the coloring was that it was a “swimmie”, or disposable swim diaper. After mapping out the dimensions and a closer look, I believe it is actually referring to remnants of both a pull up, a reusable swim diaper, or swim floation/assistance device or both, as pictured here:

CayleeSwim2 CayleeSwim-1 SwimDiaper-2

PrincessDiaper Diapergarbage

Paper Towels

Simply stated there is decomposition fluid on paper towels in the plastic garbage bag found in her trunk that came from Tony Lazzarros apartment.

In my opinion, Casey ripped the bag Caylees remains were in when she moved her body into or out of the trunk to her final resting place in the woods off Suburban. The stain in the trunk, emitting the ungodly stench, was the target of the paper towels after Casey returned to TonE’s apartment. She brought the paper towels and garbage bag out with her in an attempt to clean it up and realized almost immediately it was an excerise in futility. Immediately following are her comments to Amy about George Anthony borrowing her car, and the infamous squirrel stowaway story.

Her Clothes

In contrast to only a stitching remnant with a manufactures tag left of her shirt, Caylees shorts were found nearly 2 ft ft away from the laundry bag, in relatively good condition. Based on the reports findings of trunk and femural animal activity and the corresponding recovery area, I am of the opinion that it is not possible that Caylee was wearing those shorts when she was dumped in the woods. Frankly, given the fact that the actual color stripe pattern was discernable versus the condition of the other items, I am suspect Casey was in those woods more than once. How do you get only the collar of a shirt remaining and her shorts completely intact with no noted damage? Lastly, Caylees shoes if she were wearing any, were not recovered.

The State does not have to prove “motive”. Quite frankly, that is a Hollywood concept.

Every crime has elements. While their statutory definitions may vary a bit from state to state, in general, to prove Murder 1, the State must prove:

The intentional, unlawful killing, of another human being. (just in general, “intentional” means not accidental; “unlawful” means not justified, as in self-defense) Don’t forget that many people are charged with/convicted of the unintentional unlawful killing of another human being– such as for manslaughter, negligent homicide, etc. (For instance, a young mother who turns her back for a while and her baby drowns in the pool is typically charged with negligent homicide, assuming the evidence bears her story out.)

We have already touched upon how the time it takes to form “intent” can also vary by state (in some, picking up a loaded gun, pointing it at someone and shooting is enough; in others, there must be some evidence of planning/malice aforethought).

While juries may like to learn about motive for a murder, it is simply not an element of proof that the prosecution needs to meet.

    HOWEVER.
HERE?… BOY is there a LOT of evidence of motive. I mean… take your pick.

Thanks to Cindy, we have “JEALOUSLY”. (See her “My Caylee is Missing” MySpace entry).

Thanks to CASEY, we have “because maybe I’m a SPITEFUL BITCH” or “I’M AN UNFIT MOTHER” (See Lee’s interview with LE)

Thanks to Casey’s behavior, both prior to and during the famous 31 days, we have the whole SHE WANTED TO DO WHAT SHE WANTED TO DO, WHEN SHE WANTED TO DO IT, AND NOT BE TIED DOWN ANYMORE BY HAVING TO CARE FOR CAYLEE/CONTINUE THE CHARADE THAT SHE WAS A FIT MOTHER (See hmmm… her entire lifestyle, comments to friends/text messages/photographs, etc)

Some believe her motive was related to her newfound love, Tony, and the fact that he doesn’t want daughters to raise. (Maybe if Casey was sleeping around behind his back in the short 6 wks they were together, that could make sense, but.. I doubt that Tony has much to do with it).

Anyway, likewise, the prosecution does not have to prove that she was CAPABLE of the crime; just that she, in fact, COMMITTED the crime.

Those flashes of rage we see have nothing to do with proving that she murdered her daughter, but they do show Casey is enraged by having to speak to her mother/to answer questions about what happened to Caylee/to answer for her numerous lies that do not make sense/to be challenged in any way about her lies/to be challenged and corrected about things to do with Caylee. And overall, they show that beneath the very thin veneer of civility she displays on the surface, lurks a dangerous volcano of pure rage. It’s almost alarmingly infantile.

If her defense attorneys plan on arguing that JUST BECAUSE SHE IS A LIAR, it does not make her a murderer.. WHEWWWWW… She had better rush out and get herself some new attorneys.

  2. silverspnr says:

    Sorry– on my last comment:
Make that Tony is the motive comment read (Maybe if Casey WASN’T sleeping around behind his back in the short 6 wks they were together, that could make sense, but… I doubt .. it).

BTW– she was really busy with other guys during that 6 wks– sleeping over elsewhere, phoning, texting, meeting for lunch, trying to string along, etc. WHICH REMINDS ME OF ANOTHER MOTIVE to add to the list:

BRANDON SNOW. (combine your knowledge of her meltdown at that party back in May, with the Instant Messenger chat she had with Iassen after Caylee was gone–and no, this is not the motive I think it most likely, but she certainly seemed to get more emotional about something at that party than she was about Caylee being “missing”.. or “kidnapped”.. or whatever)

    Per your statement:
During Cindy and George’s first July 25 jail visit; Cindy asked why Casey never got a chance to get the car. Casey’s answer was that their conversation was being recorded and she didn’t want to say anything that would be misconstrued. She said she would have to answer that question later.

    Look up WFTV.com
    July 25th Morning Part 1
    13:23 into conversation

Cindy Anthony says to Casey … I have a question for you, how come SHE never got a chance to get the car, it doesn’t make sense.
Casey diverts the question because it is being recorded.

Apparently, Casey told her mother a STORY about the babysitter taking her car. I don’t believe we’ll ever find out what that Story is unless Cindy is pressured under oath why she made this statement during this visitation.

    Great Site!
    Thank you B!

I listened to Casey’s Universal interview with Det. Melich. Casey’s demeanor is pretty level except when she states, “I don’t know where she is.” This is striking to me. Also, when she states Caylee called her and she was talking about her books and shoes. Casey says she told Caylee to put an adult on the phone. Now why would she say, “adult?” Why would she not say Zani?

  5. Kleat says:

Silverspnr– caught that ‘not sleeping around’, figured what you meant :)

Maura, yes, thanks for the clarification of Casey in jail during the warrant for the cell voicemail records. In addition to the request as you state was July 25th, there is this subsequent information:

    (source: http://www.wftv.com/download/2008/0926/17564976.pdf)

“10) A search warrant authored and obtained by this writer on July 29, 2008 for
the purpose of listening to and archiving voice mail messages as well as SMS
messages incoming to Casey Anthony’s Nokia cell phone. An attempt was made
later that same day to execute the warrant, however the phone service had since
been discontinued and access was not possible.”

B your site is VERY addictive and I am hooked! That is my comment, but I also have yet another question: I know I read that one of Casey’s friends said she had been smoking a lot of pot…did anyone mention the use of methamphetmine? I had, disowned now, a relative who actually gave up her parental rights to a child born with a fatal heart defect so her live in boyfriend wouldn’t have to pay back the money they had squandered on meth, also some other things they did that are soooo disgusting I won’t even mention them, so I wonder if meth might have been involved? Would explain some of the extremely stupid things said and done by Casey who seems to think she has an answer for everything.

    Comment 1242

George made a number of errors in his July 31 FBI interview. He gave a lot of negative information about Casey during that interview, so I am making allowances for error in light of his stress, exhaustion, frustration, and difficulty keeping track of a large amount of information that he had learned in the prior two weeks. He was trying to keep track of Cindy’s timeline (based on Casey’s lying stories), on timelines provided in meetings with Casey’s older friends, on timelines provided by Jesse for Casey’s newest friends, on information provided by OCSO, on information Lee was uncovering, etc. I don’t think George was able to absorb it all and that’s why he got mixed up on a number of details.

George said Ricardo had gone to Baltimore before going to Puerto Rico. Ricardo had actually gone to Boston before going to Puerto Rico.

George said he was positive that on June 24, Cindy went to Universal to talk to Casey and see Caylee. However, Cindy was working on June 24 and actually went to Universal during her vacation on July 3. Cindy told LE she has a $10 Universal visitors’ parking receipt for that July 3 trip.

George said Casey borrowed Cindy’s car and that George followed her and chased her on the 408 (a toll road). He couldn’t be specific about day, but he was fairly sure it was after June 24 (after the gas can episode), so it would have occurred between June 24 and June 30 (when the car was towed to Johnson’s lot). However, the Anthonys’ EPass records for June and July do not show any time when George’s car and Cindy’s car were on the 408 at the same time. George later (in his ZG deposition) said he was mistaken about the date and the incident had occurred much earlier.

George said Casey’s real purse was in the front seat of the Pontiac when George found the car at Johnson’s and also said Casey’s driver’s license was in the purse (the FBI agent specifically asked about the driver’s license). Casey’s leather work bag was in the Pontiac and her Universal ID was in that bag. Casey’s real purse (handbag) was not in the Pontiac, and Casey used her Florida DL when cashing Amy’s checks from July 8 to July 15, so the FL DL was not in the Pontiac.

George said Casey had to borrow a shovel from the neighbor because the Anthonys’ shed was locked. George said he did not know what day Casey had borrowed the shovel, and mentioned that someone would have a hard time breaking the new lock on the shed. In a somewhat confusing exchange, the agent said that if it [Casey’s borrowing the neighbor’s shovel] was after the new lock was on the shed, then it would have happened after the 24th of June. George said yeah. In other interviews, George and Cindy said they placed locks on the sheds the previous year because Caylee was walking around and they didn’t want her getting into the tools. I think George was confused by Scott Bolin’s statement about the 24th because Brian Burner had not been able to tell George what day Casey borrowed the shovel, so George thought she may have borrowed the shovel after he replaced the lock that Casey and Tony Lazzaro broke on June 23.

George said it took almost five hours for the first detective to show up on July 15. In reality, Cindy called the Orlando Police Department from the parking lot of the closed substation at 8:08pm and was told to call the Orange County Sheriff’s Office when she got home. She waited over an hour and then called OCSO at 8:44pm but only wanted a deputy to arrest Casey for theft (car and money). She mentioned in passing that she hadn’t seen her granddaughter for a month, but she did not indicate that the child was in any danger. She was told her request (to have Casey arrested) did not constitute an emergency and that the next available deputy would respond. She made the frantic 911 call at 9:41pm, and the deputy arrived during that call at 9:46pm. So it actually took one hour for OCSO to respond to Cindy’s 8:44pm non-emergency request.

But as my uhm mother went to take out my sister’s identification from that little sleeved, you know that clear sleeve that you can see through, uhm, immediately the officer’s hand went in there and grabbed something that was behind that i.d. (identification). It looked to me white like the old style driver’s license, or learner’s permit or something like that. That’s what I assumed. But it struck me and I noticed it because of how quickly the officer went in and grabbed that. Uhm, I couldn’t tell you for sure what it that was, but…..”

Silverspnr, on topic of the traffic tickets (ZG/AD adventure etc), a couple of technical procedure questions:

We know from Blink’s investigation and article, that some of the information has been ‘fixed’ so that the records are not public.

When someone charged with traffic offences and appears, the records state that “defendant was represented by counsel” in open court, why is there no record of the attorney? Something about this nags at me in relation to Baez and how and when the Casey and Baez relationship came to ‘be’.

Even if the records have been removed from ‘public’ access, wouldn’t there be other members of the public, friends of others attending that same morning might have the information. I don’t know how someone arrives then has counsel– is that arranged with an appointed counsel right then at that moment, or does someone have to pre-arrange for counsel, even if court appointed.

If not court appointed, then who was this person, and was this the link to Baez or Casey learning about Baez?

Casey’s story about someone in ‘booking’ giving her Baez’s name, was not true (unless OCSO staff broke policy not to recommend lawyers), unless she had access to other charged persons (public) during the booking process. Why would OCSO let Casey, a person of interest in her missing child case, have a chat with up to 3 people (not OSCO staff) about what lawyer is good– is it possible that the little bit of truth in Casey’s story was that she asked about lawyers and who was good, back in March around the time of her arraignment as ‘ZG’?

I don’t hear “she” in the question Cindy asked about getting the car. It’s garbled, but I don’t hear “she.”

  11. Maura says:

Sorry for the error, Kleat. The FL driver’s license was scanned for each of the checks, not photocopied (after scanning, Casey’s FL DL# was electronically printed on the back). One of the Target cashiers admitted to LE that she had not compared and verified the identity on the check and on the ID. The others didn’t say anything except to verify their employee numbers or affirm their images on the security tapes.

And according to the check fraud documents, Casey signed her own name on check #142.

The BoA teller probably checked her license, but the check was made out to Casey Anthony, so they wouldn’t have caught the fraud unless they called Amy Huizenga to ask her if she’d written the check.

My checkbook was stolen in the 90s and the woman who was passing my checks misspelled my first and last names. Many cashiers don’t check.

Wow Kleat, Maura answered the ? about the purse like a pro, I’d still be fumbling for the exact answer :) . You both are to be commended for your knowledge of facts on this case and for stating things clearly.

I stated my first post here, I’ve never even read a “comment board” much less posted to one. I just have fumbled my way through all the evidence & googled a ? and wound up here. I appreciate you questioning me & thank Maura for stepping up with such a good response.

To Maura, I think you are correct in stating the trash bag in the trunk was not to try to incriminate anyone. And from studying the photo’s of evidence where the contents were documented so carefully, along with LE in depo’ing Tony ?’ing him in such detail about it…that the paper towels Casey used to try to clean the circle will be evidence to tie Casey to that pesky smelly stain she tried to clean up with them. I am so eager to see if we get the results of the forensic evidence on the stain & paper towels pretrial.

And, since finding this comment board a few weeks ago, I, too, have become a BlinkonCrime addict! I just want to know who Blink is exactly? :)

  14. Maura says:

Another thing about the Pontiac is that on top of being locked, it was out of gas.

When I looked over my notes for George’s FBI interview today, I saw that George said he and Cindy had to pay the $466 bill before being allowed into the lot to get the car. He also said that he was alarmed by the smell, but when he and Simon Burch opened the trunk, Burch said the garbage bag was probably the source of the odor. Deep down, I do not believe George bought that explanation, but since there was no body in the car and since he did find a bag of trash in the trunk and since Cindy had been in contact with Casey every day (including earlier that day), I think he was desperate to hope that there was an explanation that did not involve harm to Caylee.

And I was thinking that Casey probably started the story about the broken gas gauge because it was a better explanation for running out of gas twice in five days than the alternative explanations of either being dead broke or an idiot.

    ***

Simon Burch said, “We have a contract with Amscot and we do all the removals for all the Amscots. We have signs at them all.”

If anyone who reads here lives in Orlando and is near an Amscot, I would love to know exactly what those signs say. From what Burch said, I am wondering if Johnson’s Wrecker is named on the signs, and the reason I ask is because on July 1 around 7:00-8:45pm, Casey appears to be close to 7777 Narcoossee Road, where Johnson’s tow lot is located.

George told the FBI that when he was at the office at Johnson’s, he could see the Pontiac in the lot, so if Casey knew from a sign at Amscot that Johnson’s had possibly towed her car, she may have been checking the lot to see if she could spot her Pontiac. And if she did know, she could keep tabs on the car. She wouldn’t have been able to get the car since the registration and title are in the names of George and Cindy Anthony, but she would at least keep tabs on it.

Maura- there is a huge sign on Johnson’s Wrecker, I visited it, you cannot miss it

  17. silverspnr says:

    Kleat, re” #1257

I, too, am very curious about how she came upon Baez. It almost reminds me of that movie Body Heat with Kathleen Turner and William Hurt (where the murderess had carefully not only planned the murder of her husband, but also pre-selected her defense attorney, seduced him, and then got him pinned for her own murder in the end–even though it was the body of her friend, not her, in the houseboat–and weren’t those plot twists great before DNA detection was available;)

    Back to our case.

No one is listed as counsel on that other driving citation for ZFG22, and we still don’t know if this was, in fact, Casey playing with fake identity.

Let me first say that I have never handled a traffic citation, (even for myself); traffic court is an entity unto itself where I practice, and I don’t know a single lawyer who would brag about handling traffic matters (if you get my drift).

Common sense dictates that it’s possible that ZFG22 was not represented by counsel there. Many people elect to go before the court pro se (representing themselves), (even in murder cases, which is really the height of stupid arrogance, not to mention a real pain-in-the-ass for the judge and other counsel in the case), but I think going pro se is fairly common in traffic court, and particularly where the citation is for what is known as a strict liability offense, i.e. one with no mens rea requirement, particularly a minor offense.

In any event, in a recent post, I asked if any of the other posters here had followed up on Blink’s suggestion and checked the records on file to see whether or not the VIN (vehicle identification number) was listed, because we certainly have Casey’s Pontiac VIN to compare it to, and/or are aware of other known vehicles in the family, etc to compare it to (if you get a VIN, you can tell make/model simply by comparing it to numbers in the N.A.D.A. guide, for example.)

When I originally posted about that conversation, you will see that I was wondering if I was hearing “SHE” vs “YOU” as well. It makes sense that Cindy would be asking Casey, “How come YOU didn’t go back to get the car?” but after listening to it several times, I also heard “SHE”. This is why I typed it in parenthesis with a question mark in my post.

Who knows what crazy tale Casey came up with for why she left the car at Amscot when Cindy first confronted her about that.

Or maybe Cindy is just mixing words together?
She might have been saying, “How comesyou didn’t go back to get the car”.

    It is odd though.

    Maura-#1243
Wow. You are working hard, and my hat is off to you, but I truly believe Casey was ridding herself of the Pontiac, because the smell was becoming intolerable to her. It wouldn’t have been nearly as pungent as when George finally approached the car/unlocked the trunk by mid-July, but it honestly would have been bad enough to make someone need to be rid of it. Not only did she try to explain it away to Amy in txt messages (she was offering an excuse as to why her car smelled so bad, not being honest!)

And also, just think about it:

It was the smell of her dead daughter that was “plastered” to her car.
(and this girl is VAIN, so maybe it was more that Casey just didn’t want to smell bad around her friends/boyfriends/on the party scene).

Just because she pretended to want to go get it (asking Amy for gas can, etc), does not mean that she really wanted to get it. Remember, she had told Tony it was out of gas, so she had to sort of pretend to want to fill up the tank and get it back. It probably drove her insane that the car was sitting there for 3 days. There is no way she could have known that the Amscot folks would wait that long to have it removed, because Towing service companies do not say on their signs, YOU HAVE 3 DAYS TO REMOVE YOUR VEHICLE OR IT WILL BE TOWED. That would kind of defeat the purpose of “temporary customer parking” outside of businesses, no??

In any event, my point is that we know it sat there for 3 entire days, and yet she never went back there to get it.

THIS is why Cindy is saying to her, “HOW COME YOU (she?) NEVER WENT BACK TO GET THE CAR?? IT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE.” And Casey cannot answer this. She is silent at first, until Cindy presses her with the “It doesn’t make sense” comment, and her only answer to is say she can’t say because of where they are/people are listening.

The nanny-kidnapping-cat was WAY out of the bag at that point, so the reason she couldn’t answer Cindy was because the answer is that THE CAR SMELLED OF CAYLEE’S DECOMPOSITION,and she couldn’t take it for another day. Lee even wondered to LE how his sister could have been driving around in it/staking out places, etc with that smell. And the answer to Lee’s wonderment is that CASEY GOT RID OF THE CAR BY June 27th.

I welcome your thoughts (although as you pointed out, you have alreay posted a lot on this topic), so perahps we should just agree to disagree at this point. I enjoy reading your posts, and reasonable minds can surely differ over the meaning of things.

June 20, Friday Big bash at Fusion—photo’s taken. Casey say’s she was “working” there. The club owners say she was an unpaid “promo” girl, hot chicks that get free drinks to hang out and be friendly and draw a crowd. Tony later said she was always trying to inject herself into the management of the club, she tried to drum up business, as we can see from all her Facebook and My Space posts, plus all the text messages. He’d given her honorary title of “shot-girl manager”, manager over the waitresses who would wander around getting people to take extra shots

DOH! just for fun try these words for yourself…Zani, through, reach out, left(#4 http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=left),timer,blackjack or black jack, Zenaida, backward and nanny!
As always I respect Blink! It’s her call! But when you replace certain words… it tells the whole story to me. See what you think?!
I did not delete it, sometimes depending on what is in the post, the akismet program kicks it to spam-There are very few times I ever delete anything.

good morning everyone, hope everyone has a good day. thanks elmosmommy for definition of shot girl. keep it “smoochie”—positive. a houston tx country western station says this.

  23. boo says:

@1271 imablereadhead. Did you catch the def of cindy (mom get off my back) posted on 8/28/08 the day the dna results from the hair in the trunk were released? Seems she was still talking after all.

  24. imablueredhead says:

Blink well there you have it! I forgot to press submit! DUH!!! all that work for nuthin :( MY BAD!

boo- I’m thinking cringe myself, been a nurse for 20 years, there isn’t much that makes me blush, but I still get the “goosebumps” from time to time. What got me the most was where to find the blackjack and KC said “bottom left” “bottom” is an area prone to flooding and “left” basicallly means killed. just wow.

  25. Autumn says:

    hello everyone,
Does anyone know when the next article is going to be posted by blink. I am getting very very restless here the suspense is killing me and i dont know how much longer i can take it…LOL

  26. imablueredhead says:

Blink, one more thing… July 3rd. The calls to KC from CA started very early that am. I’m thinking maybe instead of something being found… some”thing” turned up missing? like maybe an angel?

j.g. Blink is on TV! she is the cartoon character from Futurama with one eye!(Leela)the ships smokin hot captain!lol she knows everything ;)

  27. boz says:

Maura 1258: This has probably been mentioned before. We can only hope the ID the police grabbed was a fake driver’s license for Zaneida Gonzalez. That would be very helpful for the prosecution. Of course, like I’ve said before, this is a slam-dunk guilty person anyway. The ONLY way they can possibly be going to court with this is they plan to pay off a juror or threaten a member of a juror’s family. There is NO OTHER defense for this murdering biotch!

  28. martha says:

autumn–blink said she would have a notice beforehand when the next article will appear. i am getting restless too. try to hang in there. i try to limit my reading here to 3-4 times a day at work. i dont have a computer at home–thank goodness–and i have my six year old granddaughter during the week until school starts so i dont have the opportunity to stay glued like i mght want to at night.

  29. Kosmo says:

I have been trying to find more information about Sean Daly but can’t seem to find much at all… Which is puzzling if Casey and him were suppose to be such good friends??

Does anyone have any info on him??

  30. Gypsy DD says:

Just wanted to remember Caylee on this day , 1 year ago, her Mother, her grandmother and grandfather all let her down..they could have told the truth on July 15th..found her body and laid her to rest properly.

Hugs and peace to little Miss Caylee in Heaven.

We are standing beside you and will keep fighting for your killer to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

What a beautiful sentiment from a beautiful Lady.

Butterflies, sweet smelling flowers and puppy dogs to you sweet little one. Justice is standing in the aisle today waiting to make an appearance.

  31. boz says:

Kosmo, you can go to acandyrose.com, click on who’s who and there are some transcripts he is mentioned in. Look under his name, it’s alpha.

  32. bluewillow says:

Blink, you are so inspiring. Your site just gets better and better.

  33. Kleat says:

Gypsy DD, thank you for that– no one could say that better and I would like to ask if we can share that sentiment as you said it for all of us here.

  34. Lori says:

Gypsy – I couldn’t agree more. I was thinking the same thing today. Hugs and peace sweet Caylee. In some ways, I can’t believe it’s been a year.

  35. boo says:

Blink hypothetically, if there is no plea and this goes to trial, will we see a new state witness list with additional names not already released?
    Probably several

  36. Autumn says:

    Martha,
Thank you very much.. I will continue to wait patiently. I do the same thing read here at least 3 to 4 times a day while i am here at work. I have 4 children at home so its kind of hard to do any reading when i get home from work.. Once they are settled down though at about 9 oclock then i am able to come back and read here for about an hour. Again thank you very much for answering my question.

  37. Kleat says:

One year ago today, the car was picked up from Johnson’s Tow yard, Casey was driving Amy’s car and made an appointment at Cast Iron for a new Tattoo and picked Amy up at the airport, Cindy spent the afternoon back at work after retrieving the car, George drove the car home in the rain with windows open, he removed the battery from the car and left it in the garage, Cindy decided to reach out to Amy and with her help found Casey and returned her home after Casey refused to take her to Caylee.

I’m wondering if Cindy ‘led’ Casey into the idea that she was doing her own investigation with her own resources during the previous 30 days– questions like, ‘what were you doing to find Caylee?’, ‘why didn’t you call us, the police, reach out to your friends for advice?’ And thus the ‘couldn’t tell anyone under threat story, was born as a ‘clarification’ of the Sawgrass version now Blanchard Park version.

Cindy didn’t want any of this child missing scenario to ever be revealed to the public or police as she tried to investigate herself, let Casey explain, then get Caylee and move on.

Cindy’s first 911 call states that Casey stole the car on ‘the 30th’, the 911 operator asks ‘June 30th?’ and Cindy says yes.

Why does Cindy change the date? Why does Cindy use June 30th? Is she separating the date that the baby was last seen ‘a month ago’ from the date that Casey ‘stole’ the car? (why?– to make things look a bit better if the date the car was stolen was not the same time as the baby went missing?)

  38. martha says:

autumn—-isnt this a great site. went to lunch and then looked AGAIN for more info. even found out what a shot girl is lol. when i am with my granddaughter as i am sure it is with your children, i feel very lucky that i can be with her so much. regardless of how cindy and george are, i know that there has to be a very deep hole in their hearts and much grief behind closed doors, especially today.

  39. susanm says:

i havent wanted to embarass myself but i have always thought and cant quite let go of theidea that cindy knew from day one,(rick says noone inthe family knew that caylee was missing or casey had left)and it was cindy’s idea to bury caylee in the back yard(july 4th),casey wanted none of that, she wanted her own ceremony in the pet cemetary,so she swipes the body and things go awry,no shovel, bag spills in car,pLAN B, PLAN C,let mom and dad deal(or suffer),(george guesses casey told him the car was out of gas )(where in jacksonville?),did casey screwed up cindy’s plan(of taking care of everything),did casey go off script.SO,YEAH everytime i hear nancy grace say (in re to michael jackson)YOU CANT JUST BURY A BODY IN THE BACKYARD!,i figure i can embarass myself.i changed from susan to susanm cuz of another susan on tracy ocasio.

  40. boo says:

Btw and this question is for anyone! Does anyone know if annie’s mothers first nmae is linda? Don’t have access to those resourses at present.

  41. Gypsy DD says:

    Kleat, Lori, and Blink,

We will see justice..she is waiting to make her appearance in a flutter of wings and prayers for sweet Caylee. Her hammer is going to come down hard in Stan’s court room. Patience is a virtue.

Earlier today Blink,I was reading our emails to each other in our little merry band. We were good! Right on the money. So much has unfolded as we thought..and will continue to do so.

    Peace my friends.

  42. Dondura Miller says:

In re:1289 Susanm..you have a great idea. It may be that instead of making things more complicated than they are, just go with the idea that Casey is a dumb as a brick psycho who killed her baby. Mom comes home sees the body and she buries her under the pavers under the playhouse to protect Casey who then goes postal and when Cindy goes to work, she gets the body, borrows the shovel to rebury her where SHE wants her buried, and head out to bury her kid where she wants it buried..that’ll show Cindy whose boss!! (Either George or Cindy discover the hole, fill it in and make the yard look like before). Glitch after glitch, Caylee is leaking through the laundry bag by now so Casey wraps her in 2 garbage bags, tearing the bags in the trunk where the body fluids come out of the tear, after driving the car with body in the trunk for a day or so, she figures that she can’t deal with the smell, dumps body in the site where she was most familiar and where it would hurt Cindy the most. She thought dumping the body would remove the smell and when it doesn’t she tries to remove the stench with paper towels and Windex(?)..she really did want to have the car stolen so she made it look like there was something to steal, parked the car where she knew it had the best chance of being broken into and/or stolen. From there, I think Caylees spirit helped the story unravel and away we go to Casey crazy land…

  43. Scarlett says:

    Silver 1267
I’m sorry I missed your earlier post on this … Cindy asking Casey how come she never got a chance to get the car always intrigued me, when I realized what Cindy said, I also realized how little we really know what STORIES Casey had already told her/Lee/George from the time Lee received the kidnapping story July 15th, until this visit on July 25th, to explain away obvious scenarios Cindy would question her on, like the car being left.

I have been following this case since the beginning, IMO
I believe on Father’s Day June 15th Casey had a HUGE blow up with Cindy, left the house with Caylee still in a rage and killed Caylee in a fit of rage with in hours of leaving the house, before she spoke to Tony Lazzaro at 11:30pm, which is when I believe she started spinning a tale to him about not being able to stay home anymore, she knew she couldn’t go home, Caylee was deceased. I believe she was parked close to her house all night. I don’t believe George saw Casey or Caylee at all the night of Father’s Day, or June 16th the morning/afternoon before he went to work. The description of the pants he gave of what Casey was last wearing he saw in the car, the day he picked it up at the tow yard.

This family from what I have observed over the last year didn’t/doesn’t like to be perceived as anything less than normal, that is why the truth never came out from the very beginning of Cindy and Casey’s blow out on Father’s Day.

I think they both knew Caylee was deceased when they picked up the car, but they hung on to hope, so full denial set in. I think they have been in denial concerning Casey for a very long time, considering her employment, money etc. so this denial although different came easy.

I think Cindy is so guilt ridden she will do whatever she has to at this point to help Casey.
I never trusted George, I always felt there was something off about him. I never believed his suicide attempt, always thought that incident he pulled could be tied in to him receiving disability benefits.
Lee I always thought had a hand in deleting valuable information on her computer the morning of July 16th, after he retrieved it from Tony’s house, I never believed it CRASHED and till this day wonder what else he tampered with.

I do believe Cindy and George loved Caylee with all there heart, but unfortunately, I also believe this is a big part as to why Casey killed her daughter. Extreme jealousy can make people do horrible things in a fit of rage.

  44. martha says:

susanm- i had never thought about cindy burying caylee in the backyard before. dont feel embarassed about writing what you might think. so, casey gets the body which had been in the backyard all that time and puts it in the field—MAYBE you can bury a body in the backyard even if nancy g says no. but the only thing that i have trouble with is cindy’s little dogs if the body was there for any length of time. But then we have a dog buried in our backyard. when one of our dogs passed away we put the other dogs in the bedroom and had the burial with rocks on top etc for a marker and after that the other dogs didnt seem to notice that their friend was there. of course i dont know how they would respond to a person. i can definitely see casey wanting her OWN CEREMONY though. IS THAT do you think what Blink said was found in the backyard BUT KEPT FROM GEORGE? i can see cindy and casey keeping a lot of things from george especially if casey hated george even more than cindy at times. maybe his being “law enforcement” he wouldnt want to go that far. write me back if you have a chance.

  45. martha says:

susan—especially if casey, cindy and caylee were in the pool fighting and caylee got in the way. if everyone kept their mouths shut, and no one lost it until a good story was thought of, then she could have just STAYED THERE

  46. ELMOSMOMMY says:

It is so sad to think of the events that started 1 yr ago today for Caylee.
Today they are playing Cindy`s 911 calls and they sound so authentic to me that I do not believe that Cindy knew anything more than she has claimed at the point of the calls. Everything seems right to me at the beginning for cindy and george and lee. I can`t pinpoint at what point that all changed, and they decided to try to save Casey`s life and the lies began, and likely we will never know, but I really can`t believe that it was all a cover up from the start by the family and I dont believe for a second that they were a part of killing caylee. Just my opinion
I just heard on CNN that some more documents will be released by the end of the month !!

  47. notalemming says:

#1287 Kleat. Good question about why Cindy A would change the date. I have come to the conclusion that all the A’s are incredibly stupid. Cunning yes. Smart no. That is why their stories change and nothing they do makes any sense and why they wouldn’t know their pathological liar daughter didn’t really have a job for the past 2 years and that their granddaughter is dead and their daughter did it. There is no way for an intelligent person to understand why CA changed the date and whether her motive was to get KC in trouble, find Caylee or some other strange reason. The smarter someone is, the more complex their thinking. I definitely think we have to go with the thesis that the dumber someone is the more simple their thinking.

So, Cindy changed the date because she wanted a police response ASAP and if she told the true date the police would think “well yeah what’s the big deal lady why are you just calling now”. I think the 30th is when it really started to hit her that something was drastically wrong. (another stupid move, if I didn’t see my grandson for 1 week I’d call the police, the national guard and the president) She starts trying to see if she can get Caylee for her vacation, she goes to Universal to find her. She actually gets off her duff and does something about her grandaughter being gone.
But what the heck do I know?

I’ll tell ya, these people make my dysfunctional family look like the Cleavers.

  48. suz says:

Sad anniversary today, yes indeedy. Here’s my queston: if Geo and Cin suspected foul play from July 3 forward, why does Cin have her freakout a year ago today (ending up with her trying to drive kc to the police station, which was closed, and then ultimately calling 911 multiple times—which I always assumed she had done to force kc to tell her where caylee was, and in retrospect I am sure she wished she would have just PRETENDED to call 911 instead of really dialing, but i guess none of the ants are that bright)? I mean, she really sounded panicky. So why panic after the car smell if they already found something wicked on July 3? Not saying they didn’t, I am just trying to make sense of their actions.

If cin had kept her mouth shut, they could have covered this thing up completely. So why didn’t they?

  49. suz says:

If I am reading the discovery right (and there is a good chance I am not, which is why we love Blink), the body was in the trunk 2.6 days during EARLY decomp, which makes me think it was not buried anywhere at least for any length of time (tho maybe stowed in the playhouse or the covered sandbox briefly).
    Yep
    B

  50. suz says:

Silverspnr, thanks for the reality check on real court vs. hollywood (re: in real life, no motive is needed). I guess I am worried about the prosecution having to say:

we don’t know when she was killed
we don’t know how she was killed
we don’t know where she was killed
we don’t know why she was killed

But maybe that is no big deal.
