Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: Caylees Autopsy Revelations Part I
Orlando, FL– Under heavy objection last Friday afternoon, Judge Stan Strickland denied the motion on behalf of George and Cindy Anthony to seal Caylee Marie Anthonys autopsy until their daughter Caseys capital murder trial in their granddaughters death. Late Friday afternoon, the Findings of Dr. Jan Garavaglia, Chief Medical Examiner of Orange County were released. In Part I, we explore a few of the notable findings, In Development for Part II, Blinkoncrime will be is creating an interactive 3D Model, incorporating the evidence recovery field, bone disbursement pattern, and anatomical example of the duct tape placement.
The Laundry Bag
Although the report contains a significant amount of anthropologic and forensic data, it does not contain photos or X-Rays, pursuant to the Earnhardt exclusion under Florida Law. Blinkoncrime.com will attempt to offer some observations and in some cases, correct some erroneous information that is being reported in the msm. For starters, the laundry bag picture being circulated, it is incorrect, the image to the left is the correct bag, note the dimensions are exact. The top of this bag does not cinch.
The Duct Tape
I have seen rampant speculation on the duct tape beginning around 15 minutes following the release of the report. 
There are many who believe that Casey Anthony killed her child by wrapping her nose and mouth with duct tape. Allow me to point out the report actually reflects the antithesis of this theory. First, there IS NO TAPE ON THE POSTERIOR of her skull. The only posterior placement of the tape mentioned is still located on the mandible, or face. The tape, which was actually small strips of grey cloth-based, delaminating tape is applied on top of itself, not really feasible with a live toddler. Given the findings that Caylee’s mandible stayed in almost true anatomical position, although slightly posterior and that the hair that was attached to the tape extended from the back of her head and over her head and face, it is likely Caylee was laying on her back when the tape was applied. Henkel makes 2 kinds of duct tape, one is more Industrial grade of adhesive “hot set” over cloth designed for waterproof and outdoor projects. It has not yet been disclosed which formulation was used.
The O Sign
A contributing poster at blinkoncrime gave me something to think about that had not occurred to me. I am on record stating I do believe that Casey Anthony murdered her daughter, and that she will end up pointing the finger at one or both of her parents as a defense strategy.
However, the duct tape never really fit for me. I have always believed it to be a post mortem tactic to stage a kidnapping. I do believe I may have been wrong. Very well known to medical and critical care professionals, there is something called an O effect; occurring at very near death, or shortly following death and before rigormortis sets in.
Some medical people refer to it when the person is very near death or has just died–the jaw drops open. Nothing left to hold the mandible shut. In morgue kits there is a strap that is applied around the jaw to gently close it before rigor sets in. This “O” sign can be very pronounced and unsettling to see first hand. Casey probably wasn’t aware of this and was really spooked by this silent scream and used the duct tape then put a heart sticker on it as a ________
This makes sense to me. The tape is applied in small strips across the nose and mouth areas, catching her hair in the face over the Coronal plane region. One interpretation that may be drawn is that Caylee was lying on her back, upon seeing what Casey had done to her child as evidenced by the relaxed mandible; she attempted to “fix her”. As if covering up the evidence of death on her baby would change things, complete with a heart sticker. No sooner did I arrive at this conclusion on Saturday, did I see Dr.Michael Baden appear on Geraldo Live on Sunday evening bringing up the mortuary kit issue. I am not saying this idea originated here, not that it would be the first time, but it at least tells me there is corroboration within the forensic Medical community as to the premise. The FBI report on the duct tape has not been released. One thing is certain, what I have been stating all along about Casey’s prints being on the duct tape seems foreboding. With multiple strips of tape, chances are there are several. The defense has had this report for months, is this why Casey Anthony retained Todd Macaluso?
Swim Diaper?
There are several remnants recovered that are described as a diaper or pull ip item. However, there are a few that appear to be strictly synthetic. When I read the report, my immediate reaction based on some of the coloring was that it was a “swimmie”, or disposable swim diaper. After mapping out the dimensions and a closer look, I believe it is actually referring to remnants of both a pull up, a reusable swim diaper, or swim floation/assistance device or both, as pictured here:
Paper Towels
Simply stated there is decomposition fluid on paper towels in the plastic garbage bag found in her trunk that came from Tony Lazzarros apartment.
In my opinion, Casey ripped the bag Caylees remains were in when she moved her body into or out of the trunk to her final resting place in the woods off Suburban. The stain in the trunk, emitting the ungodly stench, was the target of the paper towels after Casey returned to TonE’s apartment. She brought the paper towels and garbage bag out with her in an attempt to clean it up and realized almost immediately it was an excerise in futility. Immediately following are her comments to Amy about George Anthony borrowing her car, and the infamous squirrel stowaway story.
Her Clothes
In contrast to only a stitching remnant with a manufactures tag left of her shirt, Caylees shorts were found nearly 2 ft ft away from the laundry bag, in relatively good condition. Based on the reports findings of trunk and femural animal activity and the corresponding recovery area, I am of the opinion that it is not possible that Caylee was wearing those shorts when she was dumped in the woods. Frankly, given the fact that the actual color stripe pattern was discernable versus the condition of the other items, I am suspect Casey was in those woods more than once. How do you get only the collar of a shirt remaining and her shorts completely intact with no noted damage? Lastly, Caylees shoes if she were wearing any, were not recovered.

Did you hear the news report fri nite 7/31 , I only saw it on one channel but it was reported that while Caylee was missing Jose Baez had taken several items from the Anthony home for the purpose of DNA testing and other tests , Back in Sept/Oct and that he never informed the State of this until he handed what was left over to them sometime in December , He Claimed this was an ethical act on his part because he had KC’s Permission to do it …..
Honestly Blink , The FlA-BA Cannot keep turning a Blind eye to this Grossly Unethical Behavior , if they want to continue to keep the Public’s Trust . IMO
The FlA -BA IMO Knew This Man had Questionable Character Flaws , Unethical legal predjudice i.e Non payment of C.S , Leasing a Maserati, Rental of a Posh Condo , Bankruptcy, High Debt , with Low Income Ratio All Before they Allowed him into the BAR , What were they thinking ? With all of the Above , Where is Integrity , Honesty ??????
Wouldn’t it save the taxpayers money Not to have a Mistrial due to Ineffective Counsel Now and Provide KC with the COURT APPOINTED Counsel She Should Have received from the Start Since She Did at that time Qualify for One ?

He is still under investigation by the bar, it has not been cleared, so I would not say they are taking a blind eye at this point. I guess Cindy chose to give Caylee’s correct hairbrush to Baez. Yes, he is under obligation to notify the state AT THE TIME OF THE INTAKE. More importantly, their is a chain of custody protocol for evidentiary intake that must be followed in the first place. He cant use it for anything; maybe that was the idea.

So Here is my next question , As we all Know Dr Lee has been reprimanded in two cases that I am familiar with ( Tampering) albeit there could be more , Now that we know Mr Baez Had the Real Hair Brush and Mr Baez went out of his way to make it be known that Dr Lee found a few More Hairs in KC car when he and Baez went to Observe it , is it possible Mr Baez Himself Tampered with evidence ????
Which now leads me to ask this question : As we Know Mr Walsh who USED to Work for Baez QUIT his JOB with Baez , I noticed that Mr Walsh made the statement about KC being in fear of the sitter and that whole BS Story was mentioned on July 29th , right before yep you guessed it 7/30 Cindy said that story , then 7/31 George Hmm
This isn’t the first time that Mr Walsh has made a slip , IIRC he is the same one who made the statement in court referring to caylee being deceased, when she was still missing …
Now I realize that a defense lawyers job is to convince a jury that his client is not guilty , But does that include offering his client a different scenario after his client tells him about the crime after the fact yet during the investigation in order to weave the new scenario into witnesses testimony ???? As in Cindy , Lee , George and Annie ?

I am definetely extremely upset at cindys behaviour towards Jesse and Amy and we all know its due in part to Amy filing charges against cindys evil spawn!!and Jesse telling the truth about his volitale relationship with her mother. Everything points towards casey and your right I would love to see this mad cow chewing gum fanatic act that way in Judge stricklands court room. I do so hope that the bar socks it to baez for all his unethical moves. I was gone this weekend but this case was even heavier on my mind. I pray and have faith that god will!!! put SINDEE GEORGEE AND LEE in their place. All weekend I prayed for Jesse and his family that god would give them the strength to fight Off the evil that is coming against their family.the anthonys and baez are playing dirty!! Like someone else has said!!! when all this has come to an end and casey is sent to prison! baez will phase out of the lime light of the tv cameras.

Re 1802 Proverbs – I just happened to be reading Forensic Files Part 2 on docstoc and then saw your query above re HL. This is probably nothing but the wording had me wondering. At page 36 it states “After the inspection of the evidence we found the following pieces of trace evidence:
1. H-66336 Hair from debris (garbage box)
2. H-66336 Hair one air freshener sheet with hair
3. H-66336 Hair from the document “Full Sail”
These were collected during the time Lee was inspecting.
Then still on page 36 in the narrative of the report under heading Dr. Henry C. Lee third evidence inspection it states “During the inspection of the …Dr. Lee photographed and took notes. Dr. Lee observed inside the trunk what appeared to be a human hair. I proceeded to collect the following piece of evidence:
4. H66336 Hair from the trunk of the vehicle.
Then still on page 36 Re-Inspection the evidence “At approximately 1740 after Dr. Henry Lee finished his evidence inspection I conducted a second inspection. The following pieces of evidence were then recovered:
1. H-66337 Hair from the Sprite soda can
2. H-66337 Hair from Coca Cola soda can
3. H-66337 Two Hairs inside the box (garbage)
4. H-66337 Hair from the back of the pizza box “Symbol of quality”

Blink this is exactly what I was talking about ! And I think the State should be reminded of this if they haven’t already thought of this debauchery , Baez went out of his way in court a few months bac to point this out and I couldn’t figure out why ?? I was like SO ok it was missed Dr lee found it whats the big deal ? But Now Knowing what he ( baez ) has done on the sly before that puts a whole New Light on the reason why He did that ! And When I wrote earlier about Mr Walsh I was talking about the Story of the version where KC was thrown to the ground at JBP . Because had KC told that version to the family sooner then Cindy IMO had it been true & belieavble would not had gone on the media blitz that a sitter named ZFG had her in the first place , if there was Genuine Fear there !

CSI’s are way too professional to have left that car anything but spotless. Those hairs and other debris they found on second inspection were planted by SOMEONE!! I don’t think Dr. Lee would stoop that low, he has way too much to loose to do that!! So the hair fairy must have put it there as Baez et al would never stoop that low, right??
I have been following Blink for awhile before joining and you are great as are all the posters!! I just feel that Caylee will be vindicated and despite that bunch of bananas, we adopted her and she is our baby now!!

George Anthony’s big day offered several stunners.
I was shocked to see how he was dressed today to meet prosecutors. In his lime-green shirt and striped shorts, George looked ready for a barbecue, not a deposition. Given the gravity of the situation, George might have dressed up.
Then at 6 p.m., WFTV-Channel 9 raised the issue of a book deal, and I nearly fell out of my chair.
“We heard from a reliable tipster that the Anthonys, their private eye and their lawyer are negotiating a package deal for a book with Simon & Schuster,” Kathi Belich said.
The publisher, part of the CBS Corp., was not commenting, she added.
Belich said her source was “a tipster who’s been right before.” A tipster of the other variety wouldn’t be very helpful.
Belich, at her restrained best, asked Conway about a book deal. “I wouldn’t comment on anything personal like that,” Conway said.
Belich: “Why not?”
Conway: “There’s no reason to.”
Oh, pal, are you ever wrong on that.
Conway: “I’m not going to way whether it’s true or not true.”
So who’s the writer? George, Cindy, Conway or private eye Dominic Casey? The mind boggles. Given the way George and Cindy have told the story so far, would that book be classified as fiction or nonfiction? Would you buy it?
Dondura Miller, If you google Dr. Henry Lee/Phil Spector case, you will find that some people felt that perhaps Dr. Lee was not on the “up and up” with his evidence it that trial. So who knows?
I am new here but not new to the case.
I have tried to research informations about who represents a witness who turns into a state witness.
I am trying to understand why Lee Anthony needed his lawyer when he went into depo but did not need him when he came out. Keep in mind he has had “use” immunity since January as do the rest of the Anthony’s.
So why would the lawyer step down directly after a depo?
Could it be that Lee Anthony will be represented by a State Att.?
George stated he could not ask Lee about why his lawyer would not be involved.
Does anyone other than the state have the right to muzzle a witness?
Why would Lee not think that Baez will throw him under the bus when the jury doesn’t by “Jesse” story?
Everyone involved with this case needs a lawyer…

WOW and thanks to Susan 2!! I have just spent two hours reading about the motley crew of forensic experts who have let fame get to their heads! With such a great bunch of posters here, they cannot get away with much!!
However, I know several CSI’s and they are very professional ad would never have let that car go back with so much evidence laying about…either some human planted it OR the evidence fairy is very busy!! Just look at how careful they searched the woods for those tiny bones!!
God Bless you Blink for your dedication to this small child. It’s sad that her Grandparents will not be a voice for her. I lost my brother and SIL to a violent murder in 2008 and I have been following this story very closely. Thanks again for a wonderful site!
To Tulessa: My heart and prayers to you on your loss. We are all the people who are Caylees caregivers now, unfortunately, her own blood family never cared enough to do so. I’m watching that family unravel as it’s badly woven fabric is picked apart. Sad as this is, my only solace here is that Caylee is never going to be subjected to these nut jobs again. The Ants have done it again! They were ‘re-baptized’ on what would have been Caylee’s birthday. How can someone be ‘re-baptized’ when they condone the murder of their own grand daughter, and on what would have been that child’s birthday?!? They should be in the same cell as their cold blooded daughter and have that loser Baez as their, for lack of a better word, lawyer.

You go Blink!! We have all thought the same thing, the A’s are disgusting and crude as h***..I am now convinced that Dr. Lee or Baez planted evidence. I have spoken to several CSI’s here and they say there is NO way that much evidence would have been still in the car unless the CSI’s in Orlando are dumber than a brick..and no one believes that these people would jeopardize their own careers for this bunch of bananas! I read all the documents so far and the video of the final crime scene was great and I am convinced that Casey did it, Cindy knew it and George and Lee are barely in the loop..meaning that these two women play this horrid chess game and Caylee and the men are just pawns.

What IS wrong is how the Ants perform their re-baptizing on that specific date….brought to mind Susan Smith and the birthday party ‘celebration’ she had for her sons she murdered. Casey Anthony is being held in the Orlando County jail until her trial while being charged with first degree murder of her 2 year old daughter and the death penalty on the table if she is found guilty.
I was a mother at 17 and my mother watched my daughter only during school hours or during school functions. I had her after that,I even went on dates and to the beach with baby in tow. Only seldom did she watch her for a date such as a dependents cruse where a baby was not not safe. My mom spoiled her rotten anyway, but it was always understood who was who in my child’s life. I had friends like Casey where the grandmother raised the baby and there was such a blurring of who was who and my friends complained bitterly about this (while I was diapering etc my child). If Casey had wanted to be a parent instead of letting her mother do it and getting jealous about the relationship..she’d have done it. Caylee was nothing more to her than a tool to get back at her mother for real or imagined slights..

Defense attorney Jose Baez has controlled the correspondence between his client and her parents, Brad Conway, the attorney for the parents, told WESH’s Bob Kealing.
But George and Cindy Anthony plan to start mailing letters to their daughter despite Baez, Conway said. “It’s been terrible all along for them,” Conway said. Andrea Lyon, the new defense attorney, says the parents should have a video visit with their daughter, Conway said.
Baez did not respond to WESH, Kealing said.
The WESH reporter called attention to a new sign at Orange County jail warning attorneys that personal letters are contraband, and said that policy was having “a ripple effect” on the Anthonys. Casey Anthony is charged with the first-degree murder of her daughter, Caylee.
On its Web site, WFTV-Channel 9 reported that a prison inmate with a history of mental problems has written another letter claiming he knows who killed toddler Caylee. The killer is not Casey Anthony but a “very close friend” of his, said Jerry Jackson, who is in Union Correctional Prison in Raiford. Jackson is serving a 30-year sentence for crimes including armed burglary, kidnapping and sexual battery with a weapon, WFTV said.

WKMG’s Tony Pipitone said, “This specific, industrial, fire-resistant tape is a tiny fraction of all the tape sold by Henkel. We tried to buy some today. We couldn’t find any.” He said this type of duct tape is “extremely rare,” which is crucial to the case.
Boedecker reports that in court papers filed today, the prosecution said they are ready to explain just how rare the duct tape found on Caylee is. Pipitone believes the state will have a solid argument that the tape is a strong link between Caylee’s body and Casey.
WKMG also reported there is also a link between the duct tape found on the gas can Casey stole from her family home and the tape found on Caylee’s remains.

Oh, and the foreign DNA is from a lab tech and the heart sticker was destroyed..if that is true, then some tech need to go back to school and not be so sloppy. All that work the field CSI’s did and perhaps someone dropped a few balls!
