Christine Sheddy Case: Is Their A Fox In the FireHall?
Pocomoke City, MD– One thing that has been bothering the blinkoncrime.com team in Christine’s case, is that we hear about fire after fire that Clarence “JR” Jackson set, at the Byrd Road address.
However, there are no incident reports that we know of, from witness accounts that the Pocomoke City Fire Department was called on November 9th at a minimum.
You will find fire fighter pictures and coverage from August 2007 on the site, followed by current footage. There are no pics or reports of the Byrd Rd address, although there are several witness accounts of multiple fires on the property, and of course the flue fire from November 9, 2007.
What is also not listed there, is the fact that James “Keven” Hall, the training OFFICER for Pocomoke City FD, is a registered violent sex offender.
Could he be related to Levi and Joyce Hall? Is that the reason that the searches on the property where the Pocomoke City FD were in attendance yielded nothing? It would seem finding her remains would yield heavy coverage. In turn, this information would have been discovered early.
What effect, if any, has this had on the Christine Sheddy case?

I have re-read this article numerous times. How in the world any person could “take away” from it that my team or I, in any shape, form or fashion, have anything but the utmost respect for the thousands of men and women in this country that volunteer their time and risk their safety for ours is ludicrous. There is no such allegation or inference of any kind.
Anyone alleging that has their own agenda and it is painfully transparent to all.
For starters, I am the granddaughter of a United States Marine that fought valiantly in the 2 bloodiest battles in WWII who declined a full ride football scholarship to Duke for the privelege. I have nothing but respect and support for any public servant. To suggest otherwise when my Poppa has had such a profound effect on my life is an insult to his memory.
Secondly, a member of my team’s Father is a retired volunteer fire fighter with 25 years of service. She knows first hand what it’s like when Dad is called out right when dinner starts or when was mostly inconvenient.
I watched both the WTC towers crumble from a hill in Boonton, NJ after being diverted on my way into the city for a meeting at a client who saw the first plane hit from her office window. I will never in my life forget the smell in the air downtown a week later when my meeting was rescheduled.
I stopped at the corner where the National Guard was now positioned and bought a bouquet and went into the Ladder Company on Water St.
There were pictures of 9 Firefighters that were missing or dead. I hugged a man I never met and blubbered in front of a work associate. I hung their prayer book in my office. These people are Heroes.

The issue here is there are records that have been pulled from view intentionally, including pictures that encompass the time frame that a young mother of 3 was murdered on a farm that there were several alarms to.
If someone does not see how this is relative to a murder investigation that occurred at the property, potentially by a person of interest who started the fires in the first place, I am at a loss.
The business at hand is finding Christine Sheddy.

Kevin Hall had nothing to do with Christine’s disappearence, and if you were from here, you would know that.
What Kevin Hall did, had nothing to do with the fire dept or his position there.
I detest child molesters, and if you knew me, you would know that. Kevin Hall made a horrible mistake, but there are always two sides to a story.
The reason I was out to the farm, was because I was helping on the day there was a community search for Christine’s remains.

I, too, am so sorry about your son. I cannot even begin to imagine what it is like to lose a child, especially in a violent, senseless way. And then, to not have anyone arrested and charged with his murder.
I also understand that you do not want good, innocent people brought into this, and you want to “stick up” for those you know would never be involved with something like this. I would have the same reaction as you if people I knew and thought a lot of were being connected to something so horrible. I’m sure there are many good people there.
The only thing I do have a bit of a problem with is when you say Kevin Hall made a “horrible mistake”. He is listed as a SEXUALLY VIOLENT OFFENDER, and charged with SEXUAL ABUSE OF A MINOR. How can that be justified as “just a mistake”?

ARTICLE II-OFFICERS AND DUTIES
SECTION 17. It shall be the duty of the Fire Records Clerk to maintain all records for the Company on the Company Computer. These records will include drills, meetings, alarms and attendance. They shall also include reports for the county, state and other records that may be required from time to time. The Fire Records Clerk shall report to the President and Chief.
ARTICLE III- DUTIES OF MEMBERS
SECTION 2. Rosters must be called for every alarm. On calling the roster after each alarm, each and every member present shall answer to their individual name and no other, except the officers, who shall answer for those they may have been excused at the scene. Those present, who do not answer to their names when twice called, shall be deemed absent and so marked. Rosters must be marked “X” for present at the scene of the alarm. “P” for present at the Engine House, “T” for training, and not other mark, sign, or report must be made regardless of where the individual may be.
Per these sections, there SHOULD be a record/report, AND a roster of who was present.
If these documents have been requested, and the FD claims there is neither, something is awry.
I do not believe they have stated they dont exist.

boo, the little news stories about Sergio going to fight the California fires saws he is from Snow Hill, MD, even though he went with a Delaware troup. The whole area there (Delaware, Maryland, Virginia) is called Delmarva, so overlapping from MD to DE is perfectly feasible. Plus his fire station, Girdletree, is in MD. They’re both in Worcester County.

Girdletree and Stockton are the suburbs of Pocomoke and Snow Hill.
Snow Hill is the County Seat and Pocomoke has the Walmart. People are interconnected.

I am certain that all who are here on behalf of Christine are as sympathetic (and/or empathetic) regarding your plight. No mother should suffer the brutal loss of her child. It is antithetical to the natural progression of life. We live to see our children grow and learn and prosper; to love them, to watch them love and be loved.
I am confused at your defensiveness about this volunteer FD. Maybe the individuals who responded to fires at the farm can help Christine’s mom/sister/etc find out what happened to her.
Anyone who was present on the farm not only on the 12th/13th is of import to the investigation, but anyone else who was present on the farm in the days leading up to her “disappearance” may have information which is of great value.
I hope you can see that, and understand the reason there is interest here.
ANY witness to what was going on at that farm is a potential source of relevant information.

When I say “he made a horrible mistake” I should have said he regrets everyday for what he did. And is paying for it.
I am just trying to let people know, that Kevin is not involved with, nor related to the Hall’s that unfortunatly, were in Christine’s life.
The focus needs to be on helping Lynn and her family find Christine.
Looking at Kevin Hall is looking in the wrong direction.
If Sergio is Serge, and thus is from Girdletree VFD instead of Pocomoke, does it mean that:
1) Girdletree was the only fire company to respond (because pocomoke was too busy, or girdletree was closer)
2) Girdletree came out to assist Pocomoke (because they were bored and there was nothing to do, or because pocomoke had their pumper or something tied up elsewhere, or because the fire was so big it was at least a two alarm fire?)
3) Sergio was nearby and showed up just because he’s a good fire dude (we know he is, because he volunteered to go to CA to firefight) and he heard the call and just wanted to help out?

Blink, et al…I have read every word I can find on this case and am so impressed and in awe of all the hard work and amazing results! I lived in “slower/lower” Delaware at the time this happened and never even heard of it, I now live in Maryland and still have only heard about it from this site and scared monkeys. I believe that you are so close and so many people are going down that I hope the main players (and you all know who you are) will take the time to make appropriate arrangements for their children so that when they are arrested, it will save Child protective services the time and energy to find safe places for them and make it easier for your children to adjust to life without you. Of course, it would be better if you just came forward now….

Well, she filed 7 months after he was sentenced, his convictions are in VA, so I can’t say. He was arrested on New Years Day 1996, indicted on 7 counts in in June, opted for a bench trial on all 7 and on the day of trail he struck a plea deal. So much for the “he made a mistake”. The offenses are multiple and occur over more than a year.
O, and he has been with the FD since 91′.

# 127 Because these fire companies are volunteer, and the area is rural, it is not uncommon to have multiple fire companies dispatched to the same location. Snow Hill or Girdletree may have very well been dispatched. I live on the Eastern Shore and I generally hear two or three companies dispatched to structure fires. It happens all the time.
Blink – have you or anyone in your team talked to Domo, since is seems to be the weak link?

It seems to me that bringing to light ‘sergio’ being a part of another local VFC – isn’t a big surprise to anybody – including Blink & Co. I’m not sure if the hours spent researching is redundant or helpful. Plus I don’t believe very many pedo’s are rehabilitatable – but there are exceptions to every rule. And I know that this conviction violates the bylaws of the PVFC’s statutes.
With that said – I am a believer in second chances – especially when one has paid one’s debt to society. One thing I’ve never agreed about with these boards is that – even tho its ‘public info’ – doesn’t mean its right to expose it beyond imagination.
I want the criminals involved with what happened to Christine brought to the big white spotlight and convicted. I do. I uncovered the Sergio (Serge) info a while ago and was surprised it wasn’t brought out before – but thought I was doing something good. Now, I’m not so sure. There are ‘regular’ everyday people that never, ever wanted or deserve to have their lives dissected like high school class room biology class frogs.
There is other stuff that I have uncovered (very easy to find) that has not been published by this site. So I’m not so sure what value we bring – other than publicity. I guess that’s something.
It’s always something; compassion for Christine is our driving force, and I thank you for that. If there is something you want me to see privately you know you always can. Yes, there is more coming. We are fact checking obsessive, especially in this case.

#127, I was gonna say that, in the rural area where I live, all of the volunteer fire people listen to all the calls and they tend to show up, whether dispatched or not.

Of course they do. Volunteer is a blanket term. These people are heroes. I am embarassed some self serving gavones make this an agenda issue. Not taking the bait. They are being fueled.
I stand for Christine Sheddy. She was murdered on the Byrd Road Farm on November 12, 2007. She is buried on that property, and her family asked us for help. If people find that uncomfortable, perhaps they should apply pressure to the wound while there is still time.

Had to look up ‘gavone’ – could only find urban dictionary but I get the point loud ‘n clear even tho it is the furtherest description of me of any one could use
1. Gavone is not by any means an italian word. It’s a mispelled “Cafone” which is italian and means rude people especially from countryside.
2. Italian word meaning someone who
a) Eats too much and is a pig
b) Or takes more than he can eat
3) a phony or embarrassment to himself or others
I think anything uncomfortable for others pales in comparison to not having Christine in her family’s embrace. So I accept that. I suppose the quicker the information comes forward then the fewer of those of you surviving on the edges of this will have yourselves and your kids/parents/grandparent’s lives sliced open and on display.
