Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: New Discovery On The WRAY

Orlando, FL– With the public still reeling from last weeks indigency hearing, the State Attorneys office is set to release the latest round of discovery documents this morning.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity to blinkoncrime.com, a source inside the investigation has confirmed within the release is the latest interview by OCSO of Joy Wray.
Ms. Wray is said to have told investigators that she was in the woods on July 18, 2008 searching for Caylee Marie Anthony and has the photos to prove it.
When OCSO investigators requested Ms. Wray surrender her laptop computer to retrieve the original image raw files, among other source information Ms. Wray revealed, she headed to BestBuy to have the hard drive erased prior to her interview, which would reveal the dates on the photos had been added by her.
Detectives were tipped off by a savvy Geek Squadder and when Joy arrived to retrieve her blank computer and copy of it’s former contents, they were waiting for her. Joy sniffed out the Five O, and turned on her heels out the door without the computer; only to be interviewed by Detective John Allen in her lawyers office about the incident, shortly thereafter.
Ms. Wray has been baker acted 6 times, and claims to be friends with and corresponding with former President George W Bush on the Caylee Anthony case.
The discovery is also expected to include interviews with members of Texas Equusearch, as a follow up to statements by Laura Buchanan and Joseph Jordan.

Question for all…remember when George barged into Mark Nejames office and intrupted Tim Miller what was that all over? Could it have been about the very thing that Tim Miller spoke about in his interview (X marks the Spot)?

Also, she is competent, and speaks to facts. That gets in the way of Nancy Grace’s steamrolling. Nancy Grace, Bill O’Reilly, Geraldo, Glen Beck; none of them are journalists, they are more like performance artists. They aren’t much different from Howard Stern, really. I could probably name more, but I don’t want to give any more thought to it.

I am in complete agreement. Casey would have never honestly stated where she left Caylee, and Cindy didn’t want TES there to begin with.

I think he was afraid that Nejame was going to reveal attorney/client privilege. (whatever that encompasses) The news lede was something like “Nejame to reveal all” at the time.
dee, that was all about drawing attention to George and causing disruption to the press conference. It was, YES, all about ‘x’ marks the spot, but figuratively. If you remember, issue was whether searches had been thorough in the woods, specifically about water levels in November, as documented by arial photography.
George interrupted that, caused a scene, used his old ‘I just want to know the truth’ statement, which came off pretty flat when he was pulling his stunt.
“Wray also said California bounty hunter Leonard Padilla, who helped post Casey Anthony’s bond, had threatened to kill her and her children “if she testified.” Wray said she was a spy for ” President Bush.”
Classic Nut Case, I really can’t imagine the SA or even the Defense using one word this lady has to say in court, I almost feel bad for calling her a Nut Case, and if the A’s used this woman as a patsy or a “spy” shame on them for mistreating the mentally challenged, there horrible behavior will never cease to amaze and anger me.
It is taking me a long time to get to everything, I keep getting pulled back and forth from document to document and from site to site, for me this last doc dump is the most informative by far for me, I can only imagine it will get worse the closer the trial gets. In some ways I wish we didn’t have access to all this information as it makes me enraged that the A’s are not sitting right next door to their daughter awaiting prison as well.
Blink I remember when you told me some time ago when I asked why the A’s were not being charged for their crimes and you said that the SA needs the A’s testimony more than they need to have them in jail (at that time) but what about now what about after all this BS that is coming to light in regards to obvious fact that they knew Casey Murdered her baby and they worked like hell to cover it up and lined their pockets to boot.
Will charges eventually come down the pipeline upon these animals????
The Anthony’s version of ‘truth for Caylee’ is a distinct idea from ‘truth for Casey’. George wanted ‘a’ truth to be known about Casey, that was dictated by Casey and Casey’s actions. George already knew the the truth about Caylee.
I think this mistress ‘thing’ is all about helping Casey, it was a distraction and caused WFTV to have a whole omelet on their face with claims that they would have photos and a description of what George allegedly told this woman, about ‘the violent fight’. None of that has come out– WFTV left their story with text visuals that stated just that, intact. Maybe they should go back and whip that little visual out of their story because it seems they never broke that on the late news.
George is doing a lot for Casey, he’s got what NG says is a very likeable and believable persona for the jury, and poor George has been through so much, lost a granddaughter. But she’s dead and Casey isn’t, so it’s all about Casey. Clinical decision for him and Cindy.
What I don’t get, is how Cindy could know what was going on in those woods and live with it not tearing her up. She has to have some of Casey’s fortitude.

I had to laugh at Nancy questioning Kathy Belich last night. When Kathy got to the “X marks the spot” story and Tim’s description of Cindy cursing at him and throwing him out, Nancy screeched “WAIT A MINUTE!”
I thought sure that NG was maintaining her old position of “No trash talkin’ Cindy!”. It was really surprising that she allowed Kathy to go there. Of course, Nancy had little comment about what KB related. She’s not that up on the case. I reckon she depends upon her underlings to supply her with quick bombshell material, but little depth.
Ditto the other diva, Jane Veloz-Mitchell who was lamenting poor Moms and Pops Anthony and how “… EVERYTHING is hitting them ALL at ONCE! You just GOTTA FEEL for them!!!!”

Kleat that entire scene was orchestrated by Baez. He called George and told him to get over there. George thought something much worse was going to be revealed because the news headline was not specific. It sounded like NeJame was going to spew. George sat in a room with Nejame for about 30 minutes. They came out and discussed how it was a misunderstanding. Then NeJame proceeded with the press conference that included aerial shots of the dump site in water. George didn’t say anything further, so it is my belief that he was concerned about something else being brought up.

Kleat, in regards to Cindy and her ability to hold it all together, she is Momma Monster…Casey didn’t have a chance in hell with these parents, how on earth Cindy can look herself in the mirror each day is beyond my understanding, I can only hope that in the end she gets right and accepts the fact that her daughter indeed murdered her grandchild, in the beginning I thought it was just denial of the horrific truth, now, not so much, with all the lies, money schemes and finger pointing shows me she is evil and empty inside, watching her leave court all smiles last week shows me it is all about ME ME ME, she is a STAR now don’t cha know….?

Blink – What is up with the Linda Tineli line of questioning asking if she heard KC was in the lifetime club and drug dealers from Puerto Rico were connected to Fusion. Can you explaine the DC email “hitting the big boys and girls at the top of the trafficking escort service Medicaid fraud”?
Sounds like the defense was going for a “KC owed drug money therefore she was taken to PR and sold” defense. Obvioulsy that won’t work now since they positivley id’d the remains as Caylee, but Cindy said once after the DNA test that she still does not believe that was Caylee.

What does the organizational ‘map’ look like for ABC and it’s affiliates and ‘other’ organizations as per the Baez sale of visual products?
Casey was to be a photographer, it was her ‘thing’, her dream, according to George, and she was good at it. Knowing how things turned to the topic of ‘business’ with Casey, as some sort of way to connect with Casey (by George), we can expect that Casey had considered what being a professional (paid) photographer meant when she was considering the profession/career for herself. She would, if interested, learn about the $$$’s associated with making photographs and the sale of photographs (still, moving)– that seems to make sense. Casey was not in it for the ‘art’, which means ‘poor’ (aka doing things for free, getting ripped on copyright and fair use). Casey’s photographs show little in the way of feeling, or creative depth. (from what I’ve seen attributed to her). They are typical snap shots. And there’s some manipulation, addition of a skull kissing image (stolen from the original artist’s material) added in it’s ‘heart’ shape to Caylee’s ‘dreamy’ photograph we know in its original form so well. And we’ve seen her attempts to put her own stamp on things, making a black and white image of herself in a bikini in the mirror. But no creativity or aspirations to work at a higher level creatively, which might become a portfolio for the famous photography school on the west coast (wasn’t that what George said?), that, according to George, was encouraging her to please apply cause we’re real interested! (right, it it’s a top flight photography school, it doesn’t need to work that way, if it’s not and needs student applications, whoever pays goes).
My point, July/August/Sept 2008, was likely NOT the first time the concept of selling photos for big money had crossed Casey’s mind, making money with her photographs. She has done it– Annie Libowitz she is not, but she has achieved a certain fame from her photos of her baby for other reasons. Casey is now, a published photographer!
Back to my first question/sentence above, who has bought into Casey’s photographs, who has benefitted, how far do these tentacles reach from the ABC parent? Who is sitting on the ability to publish what images as this case moves forward, and can the rights be shifted in the future, and to what end, benefit?
Hi—I am a big fan of your site Blink and believe you have some of the most intelligent posters out there in cyberdom! Thanks to my big ‘ol broken leg full of screws and plates (no thanks to a drunk driver..:(..) I have been able to surf the blogs about this case extensively. I have one question I’ve always wanted to ask you and your readers, if you’ll permit me:
WHO are these posters I see scattered about who are SO DANG INSISTENT that Casey is being “railroaded” and it’s all some frigging “conspiracy” by L.E.? Not naming names, of course, but these people play themselves off as just normal, salt-of-the-earth citizens concerned about justice. The BIG problem?? They absolutely refuse to calmly discuss the facts re: Casey’s very probable guilt. I just don’t get it? I call them the “ABC people”–Anyone But Casey did it. I just wanna go and kick them with my steel leg ironwork! Do you think there really is some kind of dumb campaign going on to create reasonable doubt and that we’re talking about “paid shills” for the defense?? Sorry to be so long…..I’m just curious and it drives me nuts to see the same “anti-cop, anti-LE, anti-OCSO” ravings from the same people. I admit it!! I am a cop lover….one of the GALS in blue saved my life! Thanks!

Just my opinion but Cindy Anthony had the opportunity to stand by Casey simply by loving her and not particpating in the cover up. She could have stated if my daughter did this horrible crime I will still love her but understand that she will have to bear the consequences for these actions herself. Due to Cindy’s lies and cover up she is just as guilty as Casey. It’s just like she put 3 pieces of duct tape over Caylee’s mouth and nose, left her in the truck of the car,then bagged her body up and threw her out into the woods just like her household garbage. It’s just as though Cindy committed this crime herself. I pray that justice will prevail and Cindy will forever feel the ramifications of her actions for the rest of her miserable life. She is just as guilty. I hope Cindy reads this and ask her self everyday what were Caylee’s last thoughts? Was she expecting me to come and get help and take her home where she would be safe, how long did she suffer, was she scared afraid of the dark, was she thristy, and most of all how long did she suffer before she passed away? This would drive me absoutely crazy. Resp in peace Caylee and may your family forever feel the repercussions for the crimes they have committed every where they go.
Blink, a little OT here but Dee’s got me going. Was what they did in that recent hearing “normal” courtroom antics? I mean, do they swear lawyers in like they did Bozo and Lisa Lampinelli and ask them questions like they did. It seemed very, very odd to me. Bozo could not even LOOK at “Old Cheney Highway” let alone look him in the eyes. I think they were all about to bust out laughing knowing they were lying through their horse teeth.
Perhaps Casey LOVED all the attention she was getting in those few moments. It’s the kind she thrives in. AGAIN, Cindy took Casey’s spotligh with her outburst. Casey felt like the heroine by asking to put the X where it belongs (IN HER MIND!)

I am beginning to think that JW see’s Casey as a role model. That isn’t scary enough…..
YTH aren’t her children in a safe environment?!! What does it take to make someone see this situation as a runaway train? For the love of God, step in before they end up like Caylee. This is exactly why we won’t see an end to violence against children. Why are we turning our heads, joking about JW’s antics when something can actually be done for this woman and save her chilren from more harm.
Nothing about her is funny or amusing. She is unstable, delusional and should be institutionalized stat!

Agreed! I am exhausted just thinking about Cindy and George trying to remember all the lies and cover ups. They’ve stumbled and contradicted themselves so many times. Indeed, not enabling Casey would have been the right thing to do but since Cindy has always been the enabler (is that a word???), she did what came naturally. Control and lie.

Everyone, myself included, wants to see George and Cindy held accountable for their actions in regards to Caylees death. I am hoping and praying the LE is not overlooking what they have done in that regard. I truly believe that they are making a case against them even as I am typing this. We all are so frustrated with their actions you can only imagine how LE feels. Look at all the info out there regarding their actions. Lee is the only one of them with half a brain. He backed off a long time ago. He doesn’t even show up for these hearings. So I am keeping the faith that LE will have the last say against G & C, all in due time.
Anyone remember Marinade Dave’s ‘drive to’ videos, in which he introduced us to the locations in this case, driving from the Anthony home and the Suburban Drive scene, the school, the fences, the woods, the thick kudzu? In one of the scenes, Dave showed an area of the woods, not where Caylee’s body was found, but back on the same side of the road towards the school– Dave’s remark was (IIRC) that the particular spot seemed to have been cleared out.
I’m just putting two and two together here, no map to support it, just a thought after reading a transcript by one searcher who had a background that gave him knowledge and experience with cadaver smells, not only recognition of human decomp, but he was able apparently, to be able to differentiate between animal and human.
He marked the map with a circle as to the location of the odour he noted. The body was not found at that location specifically.
This means a re-read of the info and probably waiting for the map to be released, the version of the TES map with the encircled area. Will that encircled area correspond to the cleared area as noted in Marinade Dave’s drive by video? Was it cleared by LE, is it possible that the body was first dumped in another area, but soon moved to a better area of less access and a lower area that would be in flood for a longer period of time?
Just a thought– pure spec.

If we believe Melissa’s account of her interactions with Cindy, someone was working hard to make Puerto Rico ‘work’ to support the killing and placement of Caylee’s body in those woods after the fact… trying to create the defense of a PR connection to a black person with a Hispanic last name (Casey said ZG was a mix of black and PR) and oh yeah, the ‘Ortiz’ connection is in there too by some sister or aunt or cousin of ZG.
Amazing how they came up with all this. Darned hard work creating actual ‘facts’ for the defense, using third parties to support the characters at arms length from Casey and her family. How much is too much, in helping your daughter’s defense?

JW has an chronic illness of the brain. It is no different than diabetes or asthma, but unfortunately the body system that is affected is the brain and the effects are much more visible. Delusions and hallucinations that Joy exhibits are usually the result of severe bipolar disease or schizophrenia. The medicines people take for these illnesses are not kind to the body, often having severe and permanent side effects. Their unpleasantness and expense often leads patients to stop taking them. Even when compliant with the meds, the effect is not perfect. And when she’s feeling better, she may think she doesn’t need meds anymore. There is no affordable institutionalization available today. From personal experience, this illness is family heartbreaker.

How could the A’s not possible consider a role for someone like JW, who admitted some of her medical history which indicates she is on and taking her meds, she meets all Dr’s appointments. And she reveals her suspicions of brainwashing, connections and conspiracies, being followed, political connections within the republican party (whatever that means) and beyond to the White House of the past president, G. Dub.
Wouldn’t someone like this be a perfect target for Cindy and George on task for the defense. JW showed up with pink folder on lap in last Thursday’s hearing, then she disappeared, or changed seats to something obscure. Who is pulling her strings now?

The Big Trouble t-shirt photo sold by Ricardo to the Globe, shows a child’s television program on, or could it be one of the videos returned to Casey and the Anthony home supposedly as Casey claimed, from the babysitter, along with the hair straightening iron? Don’t know if the imagery fits.

Can’t you just hear JV-M breatheless with indignation if C&G are hauled into custody for obstruction, etc. “These POOR parents! First their grandaughter, then their daughter, then their house, and NOW the cops target THEM as ACCESSORIES? Give me a BREAK, people!” (She’s such a bleating heart.)
I tend to think if SA gets a conviction for Casey, LE will consider it a good day and leave well enough alone. Adding more to the cost of prosecuting colleen Casey O’Marie by trying to “go after” her parents may just not be in the FLA financial cards, no matter how some of us devoutly long to see it happen.
Can’t you just hear the pleas by lawyers of the Anthony’s grief and denial which caused them to go over the edge?
By that time, I am sure C&G will be indigent. And we know what that means! More money for lawyers.
Of course, like poor Chica with her blood pressure hitting the top of the charts, I’ll probably have to invest in a rebuilt pump because Casey, the Anthonys, and their accumulative cast of weird characters are forcing my once-functioning heart into cardiac arrest.
Steadychick, there have been some good documentaries on the disease recently so maybe there’s more understanding of the problems. If someone were to take advantage of someone like Joy, she would be so vulnerable to people plotting to find someone to take the fall for Casey. Reasonable doubt, that’s all the defense needs. I hope JW is well protected by a thorough police investigation surrounding her involvement. Yes, JA and his team have shown tremendous patience and no doubt realized what an easy mark someone like this would be to a family looking to shift blame in a horrendous death and murder of a child. If they make Kronk a mark, ‘watch’ the Puerto Rico holidaying new friends of Casey, blame Jesse Grund, but they have said nothing publicly or yet in the discovery, about JW. Why not, is that coming yet?
