seemeatthebeach, and Blink- I wholeheartedly agree-

Bunch of rats in a maze- that is exactly what they are-
and I also agree that they are all trying to control events

What they don’t realize is that little Caylee herself is working hard to make sure that the truth sees the light of day-

I know that when all is said and done, The Anthony’s will have no doubt about what their darling daughter is capable of- They will know that Casey willfully lied and she tortured them with codes and stories of kidnapping, when she knew exactly where little Caylee was, and what she did to her.

Little Caylee will make sure that her family and her mother never forget her face and that they will know the truth, and so will we all.

  2. NancyS says:

is there only one letter from Tracy in here? I read the page 268 one?

From me talking to her on the phone to this is VERY shocking…. very disappointing too….G

  3. myers says:

    Amen to that mom3.0

Cindy would rather go to to end taking a chance that Casey can get off so she can tell the family I told you so, rather than take a plea deal. She rather take a chance on her life to prove a point. Cindy has lost her mind and she will always be on the bitter end until the end. What a sad way to live. It is just to late. They are destroyed for life.

Casey seems very excited about the letters she receives.. Sounds as if she is having a good old time with all the attention even if it comes in letters. She is thrilled with being famous and doesn’t seem to care how everyone has come to know her. Unbelievable.

  4. jnpgh says:

I just find the letters from Cindy and George MIND-BOGGLING!

Cindy – you have Caylee’s DEATH CERTIFICATE – they don’t hand these out as a joke! How can you in all seriousness – even if to the daughter who killed her child – write that you’re not sure if Caylee is dead??? Who was the memorial for ….and whose ashes did you use to make the jewelry????

Also – what is this that Cindy states that she has one year to “turn potential jury pool” around to be pro-Casey….and that Cindy feels that most people are on Casey’s side – except for “Nancy Grace diehards” HELLO??? EARTH TO CINDY: COME IN SPACE CADET! Is this one-year timeframe (timer365???!!) some crap that Baez is feeding Cindy? What – Jonestown needs more koolaid??

But just look at the Rick Pleasea transcript. He states on page 17 that Casey appeared in June 2005 at his wedding, with a protruding stomach and a belly button that protruded 1/2 inch beyond the stomach …and yet Cindy and George denied she was pregnant! (I only wish that there were some photos of this!) – But JEEZ – If they can see reality and still deny …..who knows how long they can deny what they haven’t seen with their own eyes.

It’s the George thing though that floors me most …Your daughter accuses you in UNSOLICITED letters that Lee molested her …and she THINKS that you did, too ….And in your WHY, WHY, WHY letter …you can’t use the words “WHY DID YOU LIE ABOUT THIS?? why did you falsely accuse me? To not deny these accusations in your letter gives Baez and Mason the possibility of using this discovery to PUT GEORGE UNDER THE BUS, TOO!

I only note that Lee certainly seems to have washed his hands of it all ….How I hope that at least he stands up for Caylee on the witness stand …because we already know that Cindy adn George will be hostile witnesses and will – as Casey gave them the line “steal, lie – to whatever it takes” to get Casey off.

I still fannot fathom any jury from anywhere in Florida or this entire galaxy being able to get passed the 31 days without seeing your child and going out partying ….but to be dragged through this entire circus by Baez and the Anthonys is the ultimate mocking of this sweet little child. And to think that it her mother and her grandparents who mock her – with every day, every TV appearance, and every statement.

    MIND-BOGGLING

  5. Nauseated says:

There was a picture of Casey at the Uncle’s wedding with her big belly sticking out there for the world to see. How Cindy could deny the pregnancy, we’ll never know. Cindy was in the pic – not sure who else. I don’t know where it was posted. Sorry. I’m sure someone else can help you out.

  6. Mom3.0 says:

Myers- I still feel sorry for the Anthony’s Cindy and George and Lee-
They have to live each day without Caylee-

There were signs- they saw the signs- They knew for a long time that Casey was lying- They knew for a long time that she wasn’t the greatest student, employee, mother, daughter, sister, or friend. They knew something was very wrong with Casey and her stories. They walked around her on eggshells, why?

They chose to, mostly, ignore and coddle Casey’s lies, and deviant behavior. They continue to do this now, despite everything that has happened.

They still make excuses and blow smoke-pp “Maybe you could go to Andrea’s law school?!”. They have lost Caylee because of their own inability to recognize that something is seriously lacking in Casey that made her the person she is, and they refused to do something about it. I do not believe for a second that she was sexually abused, nor do I believe she is simply a scared mother who was in the midst of uglycoping-

If a horrible accident occurred Casey could have stood up and taken responsibility for it. If it was an accident, why lie and continue to lie for 31 days? Why shop and party and all the rest?

Casey had 31 days, 744 hours, 44640 minutes, and 2678400 seconds to buck up and tell the truth, in order to give her baby daughter a proper burial and her family some peace.

She chose to lie instead,. When given the choice of coming clean, and being remembered as a young mother who made a mistake, who loved her daughter, and her family, but was scared, or being remembered as a cold heartless murderer, liar and thief, she chose the latter, Why, if it were an accident?

She did not tell the truth, and still continues to lie. Casey, carried her daughter’s little body in her trunk for DAYS and threw her away in trash bags – She taped little Caylee’s face – if it were an accident and she was sorry and she loved her daughter, how could she do this?

She sits in jail refusing to see her family, finding ways to break the rules, making fun of those who write to her and send money- She orders things from the commissary- in all that time, seconds, minutes hours, days, weeks, months, years- she could have taken the lies back and told the truth- She has not.

She would much rather torture her family and set them up and countless of other innocent people- all in the hopes of avoiding the truth-

If it were an accident why do this? Caylee is dead, she was in the trunk of her mothers car, her nose and mouth covered in duct tape,. Her body found torn apart by animals because they ripped apart the trashbags and old toy bag that her mother had placed her in…

In Cindy’s letter, she wrote to Casey that someone has to pay for what they did to Caylee- I agree Cindy- someone does, the actual person responsible- your daughter, Casey-

For once, Cindy, let your daughter face up to the consequences of what she has done- for all of your sakes. If not now, when? If not for Caylee then for whom?

  7. Sue says:

If Casey and her defense team ever thought that they could conger up sympathy from the jury by accusing Lee and George of molesting Casey, then why has she never brought charges against them? Since she has been incarcerated and fighting for her life, it would be much more believeable that this indeed happened if she were to bring charges. The statute of limitations is 10 yrs. after the abuse stopped here in NYS. Casey is only 23 yrs. old. She could still sit down with an investigator and spill it. If I were a gambling person, I would bet that she doesn’t “spill it” to anyone at this point. Who would back her up? Cindy? Oh yeah – George doesn’t resent her enough already! The defense better run – not walk away from that brilliant idea! Everywhere they turn, the defense is backed into a corner. The only thing that is going to work here is to get her LWOP instead of the DP.

  8. claudia says:

Finding it very odd that there is not one single letter from Lee, or Mallory?????….

  9. EliGrandma says:

jnpgh…I don’t believe Lee will ever admit the truth, at least, not in a public forum, such as “on the stand”. There’s alot of speculation that he is staying out of sight because he will be Caylee’s savior but his whackadoddle parents would disown him and he sure doesn’t seem the strong type to me. He will never go against George and Cindy.

  10. Thinker says:

I like the photo Blink is using for this article because it shows the Inmate’s propensity to flash RAGE … but also because the female attorney has a grip on the Inmate’s arm which is NOT “comforting” …. the grip is controlling and the look on the attorney’s face, is “oh crap … she is not going to show the world how violently angry she can get in an instant!

  11. Thinker says:

Tracy Conroy McLaughlin letters to the Inmate on page 268 and page 711

  12. Ragdoll says:

Sue, I think Lee is doing the right thing. He can’t do squat for Casey (whether he believes in her or not) and she’s not exactly being cooperative to those who ARE writing to her. Right now, he has to look out for himself and being out of the public is his best option. The damage Cindy and George have done with their media gong show will haunt them for a long long time, imo. I’m not a fan of Lee’s but at least his gums aren’t flappin.

  13. Ragdoll says:

Oops…my comment was for Claudia, not Sue. Sorry friends.

  14. Mom3.0 says:

Claudia, there is one letter from Mallory- none from Lee

anyone have a page # for Mallory’s letter?

    Sue-George’s why letter-

He states that Casey’s attorneys asked him 2 questions-

I am wondering if it is even worse than we imagined- Is Casey going to accuse George and /or Lee of not only molesting her, but little Caylee too?

  15. Leslee S. says:

    Thinker:

My thoughts exactly & I am so surprised that people have not picked up on that. I believe the reason the defense tried to prevent Casey from having to be at all the hearings is because they cannot predict her behavior. I never thought it was Casey’s wishes because the girl loves the attention.

  16. MJ says:

The million dollar question is whether George ( & or Lee) is ready and willing to go down as the fall guy. His nauseating declarations of love for his ” beautiful, gorgeous, few lbs. overweight boss” might be his put up or shut up waterloo. Does he love her so much that in real time, not just words on paper, he’d be willing to allow the innuendo of involvement to let her posse of buffoons crucify him in court to create doubt?
Does he not see that Cindy’s unnatural devotion and momentary subservience to kc will certainly override her loyalty to him? Cindy has always needed to be the winner, she has forced the world to listen to her revolting spin on the case, her fantasy culprits, her new and improved picture of kc’s life and aspirations. Cindy needs to “win” and prove to the “Nancy Grace diehards” that she was right. Sacrificing old George for her vindication will be easy, she’ll be able to toss him to the wolves with nary a pang of guilt. Who knows, after hours of shrill yammerring into his ear that he must do it to save their all important family unit, he may decide to book anather suicide suite with an essay approved by Cindy that will explain it all in the backwards kind of way that they’re so fond of.
If the truth is out of the question, mind numbing bs is the ticket

  17. Thinker says:

Mallory letter to Inmate Anthony page 149-152

    http://www.wftv.com/pdf/24039447/detail.html

The envelope and letter with info at page 175-180 is NOT the real Mallory.

  18. Thinker says:

Standing ovation for MJ’s post!! Exactly on point!

George handed the Defense himself, on a silver platter, by not strongly DENYING the accusations in his written letter to his Inmate daughter, and by not coming out publicly and strongly denying the accusations, calling the Inmate a LIAR. He left that letter totally open to further accusations against himself, by “professional” social workers and experts that the Defense may call to testify on the Inmate’s behalf.

In the WHY? WHY? WHY? letter George expressed heart break at the betrayal of the accuser for TELLING …. not shock at any lies. He expressed humiliation that those 2 men delivered the news to him that his daughter had WRITTEN the accusations.

I believe the accusations may be true, because the Inmate thought she was confiding this family secret in super secret jailhouse notes passed to her fellow inmate friend. The Inmate did not know that her revelations would be discovered and made public. The Inmate did not intentionally set out to publicly “out” her father and brother — she thought she was revealing these family secrets privately (though she had said the same things to others in the past).

Dr. Lillian Glass has a really good article on George’s WHY? WHY? WHY? letter – http://drlillianglass.com/body-language-blog/

Another good article on speech analysis of George’s WHY? WHY? WHY? letter at http://seamusoriley.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2010-01-01T00%3A00%3A00-08%3A00&updated-max=2011-01-01T00%3A00%3A00-08%3A00&max-results=50

  19. MJ says:

Thanks for the thumbs up on the post Thinker. I’m not even sure whether I think the molesting accusations are true or not, honestly I believe 99% of what spews out of kc’s mouth is pure garbage but I agree with your view that he has laid himself on the chopping block by not taking a loud stand denying it. The wimpy statement from Conway was no stronger than a whisper. It seems that the family pyramid is being reconstructed with George and Lee left on the outside tossing sand. His psuedo role as patriarch the last few months was obliterated by the words of the inmate, just like before she was locked up. Just because Cindy needed a hand to hold and a captive audience to listen to her diatribes and schemes to avenge her reputation doesn’t mean that she would stand by him during a true or false accusation. Cindy nor George has been loyal to Caylee or even to her memory. Cindy signs cards and pics from her to the person who at the very least (in the A fantasyland) pawned her off to a maniacal babysitter who in turn caused some massive global conspiracy and her murder.
They’re evil people in my book and George is the most unwitting fool on the planet, even his weirdly incestuously worded letters will probably be used against him. The family is so dysfunctional that they cannot see how odd their relationships are and they insulate themselves from any people who might try to help them be rational. Paid attys. don’t count, especially in this case because the exposure and cash they make from this circus wipes out any reason to ‘help’ their clients. On the contrary, managed properly the more outrageous and scandalous, the better

  20. NJsleuth says:

OK, Here is the new DUH-fense.
Casey has been sexually abused for years. GA has now started to turn to Caylee. Something huge happens on July 15 or 16 and Casey finds out that GA is abusing Caylee. She snaps. In an effort to “save’ Caylee from this abuse she kills her. She was crying that Jo JO was doing this. Casey tires to calm her and gives her drugs, tapes her mouth and then snaps and kills her. GA has felt tremendous guilt over this and as such we witnessed the “attempted” suicide.
George did not deny it or sound outraged in the WHY letter. He is just shocked that Casey has broken her promise of (remember this) “Don’t worry I haven’t said anything”.
Caysee has such hate for Sindy maybe she even encouraged GA so she could take something else away from Sindy.
I’m not saying any of this did or did not happen, I’m just saying I would not be surprised if they ran with it.
I would not be surprised at anything.
I wonder if Cindy will cut and paste this and send it to Caysee????

  21. MJ says:

NJsleuth~ By Jove I believe you’ve got it ! Cindy wrote prophetic words when she said that they have a year to change public perception. George better start self mutilating now in order to be ready to handle the amount of pain he’s going to be suffering as the incestuous pedophile that he will be portrayed as.
If Cindy thinks that she’s going to skate by unscathed, somehow re-crowned as kc’s mentor and shoulder to lean on during the painful dredging of ‘blocked details of her father molesting her’, I think she will be stunned when she gets tossed under the bus too.

Also a random thought I had earlier over at SM, casey is a killer. Cindy is a fool if she thinks that her daughter would hesitate to murder her if she felt like it. She coldly snuffed out a defenseless childs life, once a psychopath always a pyschopath. Careful what you wish for Cindy, if the molestation story somehow succeeded in creating an early release for the inmate, are ya ready to snuggle and girl talk with her? Better sleep with one eye open..word!

  22. Mom3.0 says:

The only thing right now that is giving me some solace is the fact that all the evidence we have seen and speculated upon, LE has had for sometime- even these letters.

So they are at least 100 steps ahead of us.

They have already seen George’s “why” letter and can see where they are trying to go with all of this.

They have read Casey’s jh letters stating Lee molested her and George “may” have molested her also. (njsleuth and MJ- if she killed caylee because of this- that wouldn’t work with Casey’s may have I can’t remember- JMO)

LE is already aware of Cindy’s statement of we have a year to change the public perspective- and all of her BS about someone has to pay and Caylee loves her momma ect ect

It calms my fears of “my God just how far is this family willing to go inorder to get Casey off?” I believe LE is well aware of how far Casey’s family will go and how far the defense and Casey, herself will go to get free, and supply reasonable doubt-

I believe LE has a counterpunch for every lie they will tell.

I have thought about these letters from George and Cindy, I admit at first glance, they had me thinking that they held their true emotions, and I felt sorry for them- But then I thought better of it-

All of their letters are contrived- even the why letter- If they were speaking from the heart, then why all the BS supterfudge and pussyfooting around?

If George was flabbergasted that Casey would accuse him and Lee, if he was saddened and shocked- Why write that letter the way he did?

Casey never writes back- he would never get his answers- so why not lay out the truth in black and white why not write Why did they ask me 1 and 2 and state them? Why not confront Casey and clear his son’s name and Caylee’s name and of course his own?-

Because it is all smoke that they are trying to blow up our collective behinds-LE’s the potential jury pool and ours-

Well I AM NOT HAVING ANY OF IT- I am proud to say my behind is smoke free-

You got that right Mom 3.0-

The single biggest thing that makes me want to hurl, is that on top of the fact their daughter put Caylee in a bog to rot and be ravaged by animals, they are attempting to asisst her defense, which I PROMISE YOU will include her stating she was afraid George was going to start “abusing” Caylee as she was, and he will go along with the further defiling of this childs memory.

Mr. Anthony- The karma bus is much bigger than your daughter’s. It is driven by the collective concsious of all that care more about your granddaughter’s legacy than anyone in that house she ever loved.

Shame on You Man. You can get 100 tats over that black hole to match your soul-less-ness.

At the end of the day, you failed the only decent thing you ever had going for you.

    Caylee Marie.
    B

  23. chica says:

    hi all
in one of those letters cindy tells casey that she is their saviour like jesus!! those people realy got issues. does anyone know if Jose baez will get in trouble for breaking jail house rules is he even being investigated for doing this.

I had been gone for sometime with family problems and have gotten so far behind I dont even know where to start.

  24. MJ says:

On the idea that the folks representing kc will use the predictable incest/molestation route, the stumbling block will be that the supposed victim will need to testify, right? Since all this has only been hearsay from the boyfriends and recent content from jailhouse letters either she will have to confirm this or a completely brainwashed George will have to say he did it.
I’m thinking kc doesn’t have enough acting skills to pull it off. All her lies that we’ve seen have been fairly unemotional. She has shown rage and apathy really well but I don’t ever recall seeing her sad or terrified. Don’t know if just having her, ahem, beeeuteeful self on the stand talking in circles in a flat monotone about this supposedly traumatic event that spanned years will gain her much.

Look at the sob fest and dramatics that the Menedez bros put on,it still seemed fake. Andrea can prostrate herself and dribble out tears for kc but I’m hoping that the jury will see all that for what it will be, a show. KC is going to pay for this no matter who she pulls into the muck with her. IMO

    MJ-
I changed one word, for obvious reasons, although I admit that was a laugh I needed badly.
    I agree completely.

There is absolutely no workable defense for this case that does not include putting Casey Anthony on the stand. No Effin Way.

The mail guy at the local slip and fall firm would know better.
    B

  25. NoseyRosey says:

Mom3.0 and Blink – I feel the same way. The Anthony’s have known (for a long time) everything they say or send to that jail is going to be placed into the hands of LE and eventually the “jury pool”. These letters aren’t fooling anyone except the fools themselves…..the Anthony’s. I have never been disgusted by their love for their daughter….I get it, but I will NEVER understand how they have forsaken this beautiful baby girl who loved them so unconditionally- it is painful to watch them do it to her.

  26. MJ says:

    Blink
sackcloth and ashes the rest of the day for me!! And to think I conciously chose that (kindly replaced) word instead of so many others, so many very descriptive choices! The defense team has so many varied personalities and talents.
Pheww, that was hard to type…cocktails for all now!

  27. Leslee S. says:

If everyone will read the last 3 lines of George’s ‘why’ letter & make those 3 into complete sentences, you will see that he lets Casey know that he knows she murdered Caylee. He writes “Why destroy Caylee Marie.” He does not say her ‘memory’. He lets Casey know that even though he knows that she is guilty, he has tried to support her by continuing to come to the hearings & continuing to reach out to see her. He has sacrificed in order to do so. (He’s probably refering to all the public criticism). JMO

  28. MJ says:

” Why destroy Caylee Marie” It strikes me odd that George seems here to acknowledge that kc has done this, yet he continues the party line charade that she’s been framed and SODDI. Where in the world is Conway in all this? He either is under their thumb and is by their side soley to keep the A tempers in check or he has given up any pretense of integrity. His clients rum amok blatantly trying to manufacture evidence to accuse others of the crime their kid is indicted for. He weakly denied the molestation charges which really had no impact.
Is the potential for money and celebrity for having been the atty for this infamous couple so alluring that he acquieses to all of their (cindy) foolhardy whims and notions? I suppose it is or I think he would be advising them very differently, maybe he does and they disregard his counsel?? It makes him look ineffectual and heavens know that george is gonna need some real legal help in a few months.
    All the above is JMO!

  29. Leslee S. says:

Andrea Lyon has withdrawn as Casey’s attorney!!!

Shucks, there goes Casey’s career as an attorney. Keep dreaming, Cindy!!!

  30. Mom3.0 says:

    Chica welcome back-

    Blink and all-
Andrea Lyon has left Casey’s defense team-? Is this true?

For fiscal reasons? Isn’t she the Angel of Death row? Money is the reason she left- An Angel that does not fight for the poor on death row?

I don’t by that- Something is up- Blink
    http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/caylee-anthony/os-casey-anthony-andrea-lyon-20100630,0,2682343.story

True. Not to sound glib in any way, but I fully expected this to happen.
She is an academic and a cause driven atty. Lastly, remember my piece about her NOT having a charity that she quoted donations from-?

Attorneys cannot just make crap up on the record. The quest for state funds hearing will go down in history as the single dumbest move by this defense.

Nod to Judge Strickland today, well played Your Honor.
    B

  31. GRANDMOTHER OF 4 says:

    BLINK,
Lyons is leaving the team? Wow big hurt for casey now. who will take her place. What will happen now?? New lawyer? Will it make a difference?

Er- anyone care to locate my first post predicting this?

I guess that pro bono purse had a hole in it.
    B

  32. Mom3.0 says:

Could AL’s departure be because she is no longer needed? Is Casey going to change her plea and remove the dp?

I can’t imagine AL abandoning Casey to the electric chair over money- taking all her students and the mitigation specialist with her- all because of money- or lack there of-…

  33. Leslee S. says:

    Blink:

    You were ‘so’ right!!!

    Mom3.0:

I’m wondering if Lyon left BECAUSE she tried to talk Casey into a plea. I believe that Lyon would encounter resistance with that from Casey & Baez. JMO

  34. chica says:

    momof3

hugs and thanks it’s good to be back but boy am I so behind. this latest news threw me off my chair!! until!! I recall blink predicting this long ago.

  35. chica says:

    leslee
what a stupid comment that cindy made regarding casey going to law school with the help of andrea lyons!! these people are bazaar but we already know that!!

  36. Mom3.0 says:

I had forgotten the wisdom of your early prediction Blink-

    I bow to your expertize-
If she left because of money she is hardly an angel-
    Sick

    You may be right Leslee-
I suppose Cindy made another huge character mistake saying she liked Andrea Lyon and I guess there goes Casey’s chance to be a student in her law school-

As to Casey possibly saying that she killed Caylee inorder to protect her from abuse I say BS-

If she was afraid for Caylee’s well being- why was she forever allowing little Caylee to be watched by her grandparents so she could go out with friends and have alone time with men under the guise of working??

I know one thing you do not worry about the sexual abuse of your child and at the same time have her sleep in the same bed as you and your lover.

I know you don’t ask a potential lover who is clearly only out for sex if he minds if you bring the little snot head along…

I know that if you are worried about the well being of your child you do not let two male room mates of your new boyfriend watch her while you both go take “a nap” for a few-

nor do you leave her alone in the midst of a bunch of strangers, at a party, allowing her to open the door of the apartment for anyone who knocks- nor do you let a 2 year old wander on to the balcony alone…

I know that if you are worried about your child’s well being- especially around her grandfather- you do not allow her to wake up alone- get her own cereal- or watch cartoons with him- while you sleep off a night of partying or texting…

The last thing Casey was concerned over was Caylee’s well being JMO

If Casey was a victim of sexual abuse, and she was afraid of George or Lee- She could have married Jesse- he clearly loved her and Caylee-

If she was trying to escape from abuse she should have returned to work while her baby was safe being babysat by Lauren- or she could have picked up cans during the day- for three years- then found a job any job and took her beloved child out of that abusive house and away from George, Lee and Cindy- Hell she could have went to a shelter- gotten help and went to college all on the states dime-

She did none of these things- Casey clearly had the upperhand in that household- everyone cow toed to her whims and lies- sadly even an innocent little baby was expected to do the same thing-

George writes hey beautiful and Cindy focus’ on Casey’s beauty not because they are abusing her or think of her in a sexual way- but because Casey likes to be told these things- and the queen gets what she wants…at all costs JMO

  37. MJ says:

Lyons leaving, hmmmm can’t think of anything to say except wooohoo!

I don’t agree with her politics or her methods and putting the money issues aside, for a professional atty with some clout to be forced to basically be second chair to an unseasoned, ego driven, barely ethical guy would be intolerable. Toss in a client who is blindly narcissistic and, a pathological liar who probably can’t and won’t reason on things rationally, what’s a high profile atty to do ?

    Blink,
There is lots of speculation on other sites and blogs that ALyon may be planning to exit the case. Your thoughts please? Also, do you think it could be a possibility Casey would take an Alford plea? I watched the D.Mack trial, and that worked well for the State in that case. I think he deserved the death penalty, but at least he is in for life.
I am on record starting the very speculation to which you refer. I posted on it several times since then, so welcome to BOC but I do ask that one reads through comments to be fair to everyone not having to re-read the same questions.
I believe Alyon has fulfilled her role for now, and I really believe she is not a fan of the Florida legal system. She is an academic. I dare say a brilliant one, although I do not share her views. I think she signed on not reading the fine print and took Baez at his word for things she should not have.
Baez “bogused” a contract allegedly signed by Tony Padilla and presented it as a sworn document in court, in the case she is the lead attorney on. She may not be well liked, but I truly believe that has caused a mondo rift in this team.
I don’t think she “does underhanded” and I think she has realized there is nothing in it for her except a first loss.

    Dang Thinker. Nicely Done.
Can someone do the right thing by this baby and make me eat my words?
    I welcome it.

Whatever the Lyon’s true motivation was for leaving, I can’t deny that it gives me great pleasure to see her go.
Mainly because this Inmate never deserved that quality of lawyering for free.
And JB did not deserve to ride on the coattails of a real lawyer.
And the Inmate did not need to continue in the false hope that this celebrity anti death penalty hero was going to miraculously save the Inmate. IMO

One of these days Casey is going to realize that she’s been spoon fed a load of bs. Somebody has been filling all the A’s with pie in the sky nonsense that she’s going to beat this, don’t worry, she’ll be out powdering that pretty little shnozz before you know it. But in the meantime there’s tv appearances, interviews, pleasure trips with celebs, career building. Speedy trial? take the plea offered at the start? Why no, of course not, this is a delicate situation, who’s important here, the first hispanic atty to handle a case of this magnitude or you, the client?
One of these days she’s gonna get it.

    Orlando, FL-
    HOT MESS SPOILER ALERT
Who thought this was a good idea on behalf of THE BAEZ LAW FIRM?
Who raised their hand at the weekly status update and said:
“I’m sick of this crapp-ass coffee, I make $300 bucks an hour.
I make big bucks so I should be drinking STARbucks.
Gimme a Venti. I can’t drink this swill another 3/4 hour minimum or I will surely die before the trial.
I KNOW.. how about we figure out a way to make OTHERS pay for it??
    Sound ridiculous?
That is nothing compared to the caught-on-camera cluster that took place during yesterdays hearing to declare accused murderer Casey Anthony indigent for costs.
Andrea Lyon, lead counsel and chronic look-of-woehaver, feels approximately $70Geeze of her “charity’s” money has been spent on this case. (Edited to add, methinks she is subtracting $22Geeze, read on)
The Center For Justice In Capital Cases
SHUT THE DOOR. This is no charity, except perhaps to Lyon as she is a paid staff member, serving as it’s director.
It is a certification study class at DePaul, run by Lyon and paid by the defense PI Morty.
Furthermore, as the work product developed in this case supports the curriculum and subsequent GPA of it’s tuitionable students, why the hell would the expenses be allocated to the defense of the case against Casey Anthony instead of DePaul?
There is no charity attributable to Andrea Lyon although she testifies to fund raising efforts through various charities and corporations, and that those charities are now, “in the hole.” $70Geeze, to be exact.
Is this the part where we here her use of the word charity was a charitable way to say she imposed on her budget as a professor?
I will say, given her penchant for hardass reporting from her students, how is it possible she has no clue what her books and billable hour are?
There are 14 students working on a death penalty case that are not attorneys, and client attorney privilege would not extend to them as their is no established agency. If I were the National Enquirer I would be finding out which of those undergrads have fat student loans and what kind of access to information they have. Catch My drift?

    Nicely done and Thank You

You’ve got that one right! I think that the state will be able to fire back with exactly what you have stated.

  44. Kleat says:

Blink, I’ll vouch for your earlier predictions (plural, a number of times) that Lyon would be leaving, I may recall what circumstances in the prompted you to say that, besides the obvious one of Cheney Mason announcing his affiliation officially with the ‘team’. (but I do remember you predicting what lawyer might take the place of Lyon because I asked you and I had to look him up and found his early case video with Baez and his early press interview about the case and how much he would charge minamally, to take Casey’s case, and this was of course, well before Mason Cheney was even suggested by MSM).

And on a different case thought, Blink wrote:

“… they are attempting to asisst her defense, which I PROMISE YOU will include her stating she was afraid George was going to start “abusing” Caylee as she was, and he will go along with the further defiling of this childs memory.”

I have to wonder if those little tidbits of truth that Casey uses to weave into her detailed and embellished lie-stories, that parts of her defense discussions (ie: sexual abuse notions) have woven their way into her jail letters. Oops…

  45. Kleat says:

Accusing BOTH father and soul-mate-high-5′n brother Lee, might backfire– accusing both might just be a big oops because Lee might not go that far, ruin his life, leaving a black mark on his legacy for his own future children, to support Casey’s lies. (btw, how can Casey now withdraw that accusation and have a jury buy it, besides fact of being a liar and trying to help herself out of a real self-induced jam?)

  46. Kleat says:

Gone are the Woolworthian days… ahh the nostalgia….

Cheese and Rice you went back there.
Soft Pretzel and Orange julius If I was good.

    Thanks for the respite, friend.
Missing Silverspooner too, I think she was red booths or stools where as we were blue :)

Another hole in one, dear Prophetess. She has that battin average to protect, as you called it first time around.

I think she saw this whole fiasco as a lose-lose proposition and got out while the gettin’s still good. She already got her publicity from it.

“There’s a hole in my bucket, dear Casey, dear Casey…”

OMG fave sisters song in my fam…
Minus the Liza and Henry of course.

“Baez said that the travel involved with this case and time spent away from her center forced Lyon to leave the team. She needs to focus on that project and help generate revenue there, he said.”

    http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/caylee-anthony/os-casey-anthony-andrea-lyon-20100630,0,2682343.story

This tell me that she was counting on megabucks and not oranges to get paid for the “travel involved and time spent away from her center”. As if she really thought extensive travel wasn’t part of the job description at the onset. It’s all about the money with all of these people, including Caylee’s grandparents. Disgraceful.

  49. Muse says:

From Casey’s penpal and my personal favorite, Sean Whittle:

In one of his many letters Set 5, page 935 he said to Casey, upon hearing the news that the death penalty was back on the table for Casey, “I was so happy that I fell out of my bed and spilled Mt Dew on my bed.” LOL

I’m betting he can hardly contain himself at this breaking news.
