Tomorrow promises to be an interesting day in the courtroom. To my way of thinking, the argument over the 911 calls is futile. What is most damning, to me, is not Cindy’s proclamation that the car “smells like a dead body” – the SA doesn’t really need Cindy’s statement on this; they have enough forensic evidence and expert testimony in that regard. What is especially damning about Cindy’s call(s) is that first, it establishes that Caylee’s own mother never reported the baby missing; her grandmother did. It establishes that while Cindy is hysterical over the missing child, Casey is nonchalant and seems bewildered as to what all of the fuss is about. It establishes the beginning of the deception about Zanny the Nanny. And it establishes that Cindy, Casey’s own mother, in that moment, did not believe Casey’s story. Cindy is barking up the wrong tree over her excited utterance and this motion is another complete waste of the court’s time and taxpayer money.

I think Cindy has been fighting so hard to retract her statement because she realizes she has served her daughter up on a silver platter.

The Defense files latest motion to stop 911 statements especially anything regarding A death smell by “lay person” Cindy Anthony.

In the comment section a bombshell has been dropped in the Casey Anthony case-

Longtime Casey supporter, Orlando East has stated that he/she now believes that Casey knew almost immediately that Caylee was in danger and had been taken, but had a break down and alerted noone- not even when Casey found her baby daughter dead in the swamp area down the street from her home- Case instead, picked up little Caylee’s lifeless body and put her in the trunk- until she came to the conclusion nothing would help- so then Casey returned her to the same swamp area, and buried her with a few treasured items.

Gee- it seems that the new evidence, the defense reviewed, may have gotten Orlando East believing that although Casey knew, and handled Caylee’s dead body, she only did it out of concern, shock and love.

Plausible deniability has occurred to the braintrust.
Rejoice. We can all relax now.

Improper burial- anyone remember me bringing that up?

This is 1 scenario out of a possible 1,000,000.

How about the disgruntled boyfriend (dumped by Casey after he found out he was noy Caylee’s father) scenario?

If you people would just open your eyes; put away your jealousy; and unbind your minds – you would see that Casey in innocent.

Casey and Caylee are both victims.

    Orlando_EAST at 7:56 PM July 14, 2010

I can assure you, I have also been “on this case since Day 1.”
    Orlando_EAST at 5:27 PM July 14, 2010

    Part 1 of 3

I have never seen a case where a young Mother was crucified to this extent.

There were so many missed opportunities. So many leads never followed. So many accusations. So many presumptions. So much hatred. So much jealousy. So many strong emotions to cloud judgment.

Now that time has passed – cooler heads need to prevail. We need to step back and look at this objectively.

The following (below) is one possible scenario (out of many scenarios) that were never considered:

Caylee wandered away from her home on Hopespring Drive whilst Casey was sleeping.

Caylee ventured to a nearby wooded area that was familiar to both her and Casey (The area was a childhood “hang-out” for Casey – and Casey had pointed this area out to Caylee on occasion).

Caylee encountered a child predator (no shortage of them in Orlando) – perhaps a rogue utility worker who is “into” duct tape.

    Precious Caylee is killed.
    Orlando_EAST at 5:27 PM July 14, 2010

    Part 2 of 3

Casey discovers that Caylee is missing and panics.

The sense of loss is so great that Casey loses control of her faculties – She begins to behave irrationally.

Casey commences a frantic search for Caylee and visits places that are familiar to her, e.g. Blanchard Park, Sawgrass Apartments, Target, Blockbusters, Fusian.

The fruitless search lasts for days, during which time Casey becomes more irrational. Casey is now at the point of a mental break-down. She still believes that she can find Caylee herself. Always the optimist, Casey even gets a “Bella Vita” tattoo.

An exhausted and emotionally drained Casey finally retreats to the wooded area – her former childhood hangout. She believes that she will find a sense of comfort regressing back to more pleasant childhood memories.

Casey has a total breakdown when she discovers Caylee’s lifeless body in the wooded area.

    Orlando_EAST at 5:22 PM July 14, 2010

    Part 3 of 3

Refusing to believe that Caylee is dead, Casey removes her from the scene and places her in the Pontiac.

Casey drives around town in a zombie like state… She is confused and does not know what to do: Should she take Caylee home? Should she take Caylee to the hospital? Should she take Caylee to Blanchard Park? Should she take Caylee to Universal Studios? Should she bury Caylee?

Casey eventually begins to sense the gravity and hopelessness of the situation and instinctually returns Caylee back to the wooded area for a proper burial. She buries a few sentimental items along with Caylee – so she would not be “alone.”

A traumatized Casey attempts to continue on with her life – refusing to accept Caylee’s death – she wanders around town aimlessly – visiting familiar places. The Pontiac eventually runs out of gas and is abandoned at the AMSCOT.

This goes on for 31 days until Cindy intervenes with the now infamous 911 call.

As far as the babysitter – “Zenaida” was a generic name for a Nanny or babysitter- e.g. derived from “Zanny the Nanny.” Zenaida was created as protective figure – a guardian watching over Caylee. As long as Zenaida exists– Caylee is safe.

  4. MJ says:

Thanks Mom3.0 for bringing the latest from Jake/Orlandoeast.

Velly intelesting. Finally a different post from him/her. Gotta say it’s got possibilities for a defense but still, wouldn’t Casey herself need to testify? Did her “zombie like state” never subside? She never snapped out of it to crumble to pieces? Blah, blah blah….

I’m beginning to really wonder who this person is. Way back when, in the saga when Baez was boohooing about being villified and his inmate client being hated by “bloggers”, there would always be a barrage of rebuttal views. Is this person merely a casey groupie, amatuer sleuth dedicated to the blindingly beautiful child killer? Maybe this is the start of the “casey temporarily lost her marbles” campaign.
    Whatever.

  5. Mom3.0 says:

Yes Blink, I do remember you saying that. You have certainly pegged all of this from the beginning.

Do you think that the prosecution is 100 steps ahead of the defense too Blink? Do you think they have prepared themselves for this coming up as Casey’s excuse for how Caylee’s decomposed body was in her trunk?

I sincerely hope that there are no members of the jury that will believe this malarkey- I certainly wouldn’t. Especially since, Casey did not seem traumatized in the least during the 31 days. In fact she seemed to be in total control of everything. And I might add that Casey did not make up The guardian Angel, Nanny-Zanny, after Casey was dead and gone- people are already on record stating that they knew of Zanny and/or Zenaida, long before the 31 days-

I have complete faith in the prosecution team in this case. Although I feel Judge Strickland got a raw deal, there is a reason Mason is so tight lipped in his proceedings. Judge Perry is not going to condone behavior as we saw with his exchange with Kathi B.

They are married to the nanny “defense”. Get ready for the nanny to have been introduced by George, who was really one of his escorts, who Casey caught him with. Utter nonsense, but better than saying you killed your toddler with ductape and tossed her in a bog.

Keeping in mind what we discussed the other day, there is evidence we do not know about in this case, and the chalk outline under the bus has got to start resembling someone.

You have been very patient, I am overdue on weighing in on Caylee’s case. I openly admit I have trouble juggling all of them. I am just not seeing anything I do not expect right now.
    B
    B

  6. Mom3.0 says:

    No problem MJ-

I also feel the need to point out that Cindy said that Casey thanked her for calling the police- that she couldn’t do it herself- Well the police were called and Casey instead of breaking down and telling the police Orlando Easts scenario-and the truth about her job and Zanny and Juliet and her black jack and on and on-

She could have told the truth-when little Caylee’s body would have held forensic clues possibly leading to the “real” killer, and that would have finally allowed Casey to give her beloved daughter a decent loving burial-Casey instead lied to them over and over again – and she lied to her family and caused them unspeakable torment, and STILL hasnot told the truth- prolonging their suffering, and causing Florida tax payers to fit the bill for her defense…

and she, the young mother that had to steal from friends and write bad checks to buy new sunglasses and bras, innocently sits in jail accused of a crime she didn’t commit- (insert theme from The Incredible Hulk tv show) and Casey must let the world keep on believing this until… What? When? Why?

  7. Mom3.0 says:

I now have the theme song from the Incredible Hulk stuck in my head- so I am posting the song- and the opening of the show for others to enjoy-

Poor Casey she is on trial for a murder she didn’t commit….

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLHYLKvgwu0&feature=related

  8. Mom3.0 says:

No worries Blink- We understand in Caylee’s case, the murderer has been found is awaiting her day in court- In the other cases you cover, Kyron’s and Morgan’s ect, you are covering cases where there is no known assailant. It is understandable that you lend more time and effort to those cases right now.

Having said that, We do hope to read more of your thoughts as soon as you are able.

  9. MJ says:

” Always the optimist, Casey even gets a Bella Vita tattoo”. I suppose it was the same unsinkable Molly Brown attitude that showed us Casey trotting into Baez’s office with her Caylee pictures treasure chest. Sorta like , when life hands you lemons, ya make lemonade? Oops, my baby wandered off and got herself lost/raped/killed so I’ll (re)bury her in the ye olde pet cemetary, and now make a little spending money off the unfortunate incident that I’ve blocked out of my mind?? Huh? Duh?
Guess the fugue state is contagious because irrational behavior has become the norm with the entire circus that defends her.

Winner of best snark post in a freaking while.

I would only add that tacky and gigantic white sunglasses are said to defer guilt in their reflection.
In fact, in some circles, it acts as a kaleidescope and blames innocent bystanders.

It is called the kronk experience.
    B

  10. MJ says:

LOL, the Hulk theme song/vid! So right on the money. And agree with your comment. A lot to explain away.

Blink, you’ve been hitting the mark on so many things, no doubt this as well, but, but..still seems so disconnected without some real connection, like proof of phone calls to said acquaintance of george. I suppose they can make any vague accusations and not have to prove a thing and hope to have some jurors that are brain dead and believe it. Or if GA decides to commit suicide by lie, does he love the princess that much, really?

  11. Leslee S. says:

    Blink:

Does George know that he is being thrown under the bus & will he willingly go along with this defense story? Is George’s being used only for the sentencing (to prevent DP)? Surely, the defense will not claim that George killed Caylee.

  12. EliGrandma says:

I’m so excited about the 2pm hearing. Maybe, if I can stay awake til 4, sleep til noon, I’ll be caffeined and ready to go at 2. I’m just a bundle of energy and nerves waiting for this.

  13. claudia says:

    10. Leslee S. Says:

Think about your post. IMO, Cindy is painting that chalk line to put George right in the middle of the road to be smacked by the biggest yellow bus he will ever see. George asks Cindy question and gets none of your business.. I told ya George let me handle this. I believe that Jose and Cindy are working hand in hand. Both George and Casey tell half/truths… However Cindy is the true lier pants. She will do anything to save her daughter. Yes that includes getting rid of the husband that she did not want to lose everything to. He need to come clean, wise up, and make Cindy’s head spin like she was using a marshmellow to draw that chalk line. Cindy pets him in court like he is a little boy knowing all along that Caylee death will be pinned on him. Who were the last two people to see Caylee alive?

  14. Lori says:

Cindy my dear….you cant take back what you said…..Just like you Cant Unring a Bell …duh!

  15. MJ says:

Thanks Blink! And you also got to the bottom of the origin of “the Kronk experience, ah yes, the blame wielding sunglasses!

Hope Nejame will be able to ( for the 100th time) protect any unsuspecting TES searcher from the sneaky sunglasses power.
It will be a disappointment if the 911 calls are banned but there is so much else that once it’s all out in open court I believe in my heart casey will convicted with no trouble.

See ya later after the hearing, should be good.

loved your post! your right on my friend. good choice of words.

  18. MJ says:

Chica Hi! Did you catch Conway’s latest comment? That this will be “a family reunion” !!!! Can it get crazier? A bonafide attorney says this?
Guess we all will need to remember to get subpoenas as invitations to the next family get together.

  19. chica says:

    aMJ
No I misssed conways comment do you have the link. I am begining to think the lawyers are as dysfunctional and wacky as the family.
    tia :)

  20. chica says:

Cindy is looking haggard and older. casey has done a job o her parents but in actuality they allowed it. Cindy is tip toeing around the questions asked all of a sudden she doesnt recall what she said. how can you forget the comments about the dead body !! when the media has played her voice over and over repeatedly!! geez

  21. chica says:

    mj
    p.s
nothing and I mean nothing that comes out of their mouths can be held as truth. you kinda get an insight as to why casey is as screwed as she is. that family lives in their own web of lies to suit whatever situation they are in at the time. cindy can try to lie her way out of this but somehow I think that judge perry will allow the 911 calls. I cant see judge perry taking valuable and crucial evidence from being presented by the prosecution. baez and mason’s arrogance hateful persona is going to play against them.

I see the prosecution with more control and integrity than the defense. I realize they are only doing their jobs but it seems to me that they are over doing it to the prosecutions benefit. I can imagine how they will act in court and the jury will take it all in.

  22. chelsea1515 says:

Will the Hearing re: 911 call be filmed? If so would someone kindly post a link as I am in the UK

  23. chelsea1515 says:

Managed to get live streaming of the Hearing on CNN right up to Judge Perry retiring to make his decision but couldn’t link up for his return – gutted!!!!! Have read that he has allowed the 911 calls to remain in wahoo!!

  24. GRANDMOTHER OF 4 says:

WHERE CAN WE SEE VIDEO FROM TODAYS HEARING?

  25. chica says:

where is everyone we had a hearing helloooo lol it echoes in here.

  26. MJ says:

Well. how did it look to everyone?
Cindy actually surprised me…right up til she said she believes Caylee is alive! Is she hoping to be declared incompetent to be on the stand?
Gezz, who’s ashes does she wear then?

I missed Lee’s, all except the very start when he blew my mind with the ” I love you”. Okay, he’s confirmed as a mindless robot under the spell of his enchanted twisted sister. Oh yeah, I forgot to add IMO!

George looked like he would rather have been anywhere but there.
If any of them think that this was hard, just wait until the horrific details are laid out, with many opinions all talking about the how and why that precious angel was murdered. They best be stockpiling the meds right now.

  30. chica says:

wow not alot of other coverage yohhooo where is dee and where is kleat and everyone else!!!

  31. Mom3.0 says:

Well- I am some what in shock. Cindy Anthony, for the most part, testified truthfully, although she did try several times to get out of it, with spin- there were quite a few I don’t knows & I dont remembers-

Cindy seemed almost grateful when Ms. Burdick gave her no other option but to agree with how she was interpreting Cindy’s words & state of mind at the time- Once she even said absolutely.

But Alas, when Cindy was turned back to Mason for redirect, she tried to go back to the same old same old. And this poor grandmother still holds onto the belief that her granddaughter is alive…(Did you see Casey’s facial expressions when she said that?)

For the most part I felt sorry for Cindy today, while testifying- But not so much when she and her friend Holly sat in the Gallery smirking and giggling IMO at Ms Burdich.

Lee on the other hand, man oh man. What is that guy’s story? He shows up at court wearing jeans and a polo, steps up on the stand, and begins to weaselly testify- his smirks, and meandering words and giggles were like fingers on a chalk board- and then He tried to LIE on the stand- & when confronted with prior testimony he STill continued to lie.

It makes me wonder exactly what LE meant when they commented -Lee knows what he has done.- Better mention that Lee does still love his sister,(which is nice) but he does not love her enough to attend court hearings or write her or visit her- but he does love her enough to mouth “I love you” while on the stand-(gotta love Ms.DB’s response to that) I am surprised he didn’t kiss his Casey bracelet CMA CMA- Casey still loves her brother despite accusing him of molestation and threatening to kill him at the time- as she broke down after seeing him and began frantically scribbling on her sheet of paper in court.

The Defense was way out of their league today IMO and it showed. While at a side bar with Mr Nejame and others, Jose Baez rolled his eyes and smirked, and you could almost hear him scoff as Mr. Nejame was talking with the Judge. Baez tried to get Cindy to answer exactly the way he wanted, but Cindy did not follow exactly along- Baez seemed like a child playiing at the job of lawyer.

Mr Mason seemed to be rather misinformed about his client’s case & never failed to bring up his late induction to the team as an excuse for not being in the know. His questioning of Cindy’s boss was painful to watch and only got worse when questioning Lee-

The State IMO handled themselves very well, and were on point with their questioning and their motions and siting law. Ms. DB had no trouble in getting information from two unwilling witnesses.

After all this, TE will provide the searchers documents to the defense, and a special magistrate will be ordered to oversee the copying ect- exactly what will be allowed will be determined later.
All three of the 911 calls will come in, and the Defense succeeded in getting their evidence look-see withheld from public/media scrutiny- IMO, this only happened because no media was there to object.

Several other issues were still being addressed when I lost mylivevideo feed- So I am hoping to catch it later-

There was something about a video from a correctional facility that the defense wants withheld and the Defense wants Casey to be unshackled-

All in all I say it was a good day for the Prosecution

  32. MJ says:

Mom3.0~ Love your take on the day and ITA with your view on Cindy.

It is amazing the total lack of respect that not only the A’s display but Baez & Co. too. Lee and Mallory looked they were going to a cookout, Baez still rolls his eyes and smirks, Mason doesn’t bother to catch up on details of the case…on it goes. Does even one of them remember why they are all there? Caylee who?

  33. Mom3.0 says:

OOPS , just reread my post and realized I cut off the last sentence. It should have read:

All in all I say it was a good day for the Prosecution- but believe it or not, it was a pretty good day for the Defense too.

  34. chica says:

    MOM3.0
Yes it was a good day for the prosecution. And if baez continues to roll his eyes and act arrogant he will find himself in a mess because the jury will watch and scrutinize it all. I think the prosecution has always acted with integrity and professionalism !! I am tellin ya it will bite him and mason in the arse. I even noticed how casey was looking at cindy like wanting to say “I hate You”
did anyone else notice that? hooray that the 911 tapes are going to be admissable. oh baez was on jane velez show in the back ground and jane was all kiss arse as she is always is with him. vomit!!!

  35. chica says:

    MJ
all that family is full of issues and mistruths and out of touch with reality.

  36. Sister says:

Mom3.0, excellent summary. One other thing I noticed, when Mason was giving his summary, he did not repeat correctly what his own witnesses said. He may get away with this at a hearing, but he will be eaten alive during a trial, for the State has the last word.
Poor momster wants to be unshackled — don’t think that will happen as it would set a precedent and His Honor isn’t the kind of judge to do that. I truly loved when he quoted a July, 2010 case. He is one smart man. Additionally, I also enjoyed the dufense citing a case law for their side which had been overturned. Yipes, they are really on the jar!

  37. Mom3.0 says:

    Thanks for the feedback Guys.

I really think Cindy loves Caylee and was trying to be truthful in her testimony, although I think the fear of sending her daughter to jail held her back. She actually seemed to have appropriate emotional responses today, at least compared to other court proceedings/ depos.Perhaps it was only a momentary attack of conscience.

George seemed to be almost totally ostracized by his family. And if Blink is right, (which she almost always is) This is they way they planned it. The chalkline is being drawn around him, and there has to be space to trace the outline.

I agree that Lee and Mallory’s attire was inappropriate and disrespectful to the court.

The only family member that seems to show tany feeling for Caylee at this point is Cindy, and she says she believes she is alive.

Sister, I noticed that too, about Mason, I don’t know if it’s a ploy or not, but his hearing seems to be a factor in his performance, IMO he better get an interpreter, some sort of TTY, or some better hearing aids, because I don’t want Casey to use his inability to hear as grounds for appeals.

Can anyone tell me what the story is regarding the correctional facility tape? What are they talking about? TIA

  38. Mom3.0 says:

oops meant to say Cindy had a fear of sending her daughter to death, not jail- and that is what held her back.

  39. CC Rider says:

Reality will slap Cindy in the face the day the trail starts. She can run, hide, and develop amnesia for now but she will have to face reality when the trail starts and it is not going to be pretty for Cindy. Up until now Cindy has always been able to control everyone and every situation. This one she has no control over and she can’t seem to understand why. Cindy lives in her own little world for now, but when the trail starts her little world is going to be destroyed.
She will have no where to hide.

  40. MJ says:

Cindy did seem to have appropriate responses and emotions today but I’ve been lulled into the false security that they (cindy & george) are finally accepting reality or even just not acting like complete azzes and BAM, they’ll do something that blows my mind all over again. I’m playing it safe this time and making no judgement call. I’m jaded by them both. IS it real or is it to soften the persona. Is it real or to polish the halo so after this mess she can welcomed into the movie of the week world as executive producer? Is it for casey, caylee or themselves.

CCRider I’m in total agreement with your post.

  41. Mom3.0 says:

I do not want to be duped either guys- I know Cindy has said alot and done alot to muddy the truth. But My heart wants to believe Cindy is on the right track and I believe with the help of LDB, Cindy may finally get to the place she needs to be- Although, Cindy I am afraid will relapse once subjected to the enabling of the defense. And to the realization that the truth will not set her daughter free but will instead send her to her death. That is a heavy burden to carry.

I believe Cindy’s ‘change of heart’ truthfully had to do with the expertize of Ms. LDB- She was a master at compassionately, yet, firmly, getting Cindy to let down her guard. She questioned Cindy in such a way that Cindy seemed to connect with her, because Linda understood how she was feeling. Linda gave Cindy permission to let her feelings show regarding her thoughts and actions on July 15th 2008. Linda brought her back to being Caylee’s grandma, her Ci Ci, and not mother of Casey Anthony accused murderer.

  42. RubyRose says:

Curious question . . . Why dosen’t Nancy Grace follow the Caylee/Casey Anthony story anymore?

Not that I am a fan but I was trying to find highlights last night and surprised Nancy didn’t even mention her name.

    Any thought?

  43. chelsea1515 says:

    Mom3.0

I absolutely agree that Cindy is in a terrible ‘place’, God willing somewhere I will never be. She is unconditionally Casey’s mother but by the same token, she is also unconditionally Caylee’s grandmother. I hope she is persuaded to tell the truth as she will have to live with actions for the rest of her life.

  44. Heidi says:

Is it me, or did Casey look thin, for Daddy’s sake?

  45. chica says:

I too thought she looked thin. her mom looked heavier or is it me?

I am on guard as to everything that the anthonys say. I think all of them have a serious problem. I doubt that any of them will face reality and tell the truth. lee is not fooling me one bit he is as sneaky as his parents and sister. I realize that they are family and need to show devotion but what about caylee who will fight for caylee in that family. that is the saddest thing.!!!

  49. chica says:

    MJ
Is it me or did you get the feeling that casey was pissed when cindy was on the stand and when they played the 911 call. its like she gave her the I hate you look? what do ya think.

  50. chica says:

    cc
I agree with you. Have you noticed how haggard cindy is loking and how much she has aged. she appears to have gained weight does it look like it to you. perhaps depression causing her to rely on food for comfort. I know because I have been there.
