Please could someone post a link to Cindy being questioned – I can’t find it either. Pretty pretty please, grovel, grovel!

  2. Mom3.0 says:

Hi Chica and everyone WFTV has the hearing posted. The ending that I missed yesterday are not there yet though.

There is talk on other sites that the call Baez was talking about was between he and an inmate snitch by the name of Robin Lunceford.

Baez wants it withheld from the public even before the state has requested to listen to it. Blink do you know what this is all about?

  3. Mom3.0 says:

I have been thinking about the hearing yesterday- and what many of the posters have said here- CC mj, chica-

Perhaps Cindy and the defense is extremely smart- I thought about the hearing and how it would be perceived by someone not in the know of this case- someone that has not followed along and has not watched Cindy, Lee, George or even Casey’s many appearances and faces.

Well I came to the conclusion that if a person (a juror) was to have their first encounter with the family yesterday- they would come away feeling sorry for Cindy, sorry for Casey, possibly bewildered by Lee- and they may think that LDB was a meany for not showing more restraint when Lee said I love you to his little sister- Or when the grieving grandma testified, or when Casey cried-

They may also feel sorry for the old coot, that is defending Casey for free, he can’t hear, but seems to be funny. Lee seems to like him, so does Casey- This person may see Baez as a good lawyer, who comforts his crying client- he must care for her and believe she is innocent. They may see Cindy’s boss as strange and rude- 1st for showing up late and 2nd for not speaking up & she seemed out of it- Why didnt the prosecution reask or ask any further questions-?

So- what I am trying to say is I think we know see the new and improved Cindy, sad, lonely, pitiful, sweater-wearing, loving, grandma and mom, who will not lie blatantly, but will try to not remember or skirt around the truth. This poor pitiful gram could not lie, and that bad prosecution team better not attack that grieving grandma…

We see Lee improved, loving, protective, big brother, helpful son, jokster, doesn’t back away or down from the prosecution’s badgering-poor guy must be too poor to own a suit. Sure wish I had a big brother/son like him…. and the new Casey, timid, young- pretty, emotional, scared, fly away hair- fragile, in need of protection… Well gee, she could be on a shampoo commercial, she could be my kid sister- surely this young women wouldn’t harm her baby….

Yeah- I think the defense is now playing for the real audience, getting their team ready, in all their new costumes. I hope I am wrong, but alas, to think I almost fell for it all again… AARg!

butt!! as the trial progresses the evidence presented! the other witnesses that report that casey never told them caylee was missing !! the partying the wildgoose chase that they (LE) were taken on as a results of her lies. It will not help her. she casey will not be able to contain herself her demeanor.

we will get justice trust me friend.

  6. chica says:

no one seeing or meeting or even talking to the nanny think about it and today I just finished watching the complete trial on in session!! HER GOOSE IS COOKED.
Cindy will fool no one absolutely not. I got the impression that they were trying to throw george under the bus!!
those 911 calls especialy the last one

are gonna be huge to this case.

  7. chica says:

mom3.0 we all waiver in our faith in the system it’s only natural but trust me! theres no excuse for waiting 31 days to report her kids. the decomp gases in the trunk will speak for them selves big plus for the prosecution. the defense is grasping at straws. I dont blame them it’s their job to make sure casey gets a fair trial but I dont think she will walk maybe life without parole.

  8. chica says:

the kid missing is what I meant.

  9. ada says:

Can any one tell me what was discussed concerning the cancellation of Oak Ridge and/or Body Farm depositions? Does Casey still have to wear shackles to court? Thanks to anyone who knows.

  10. chica says:

    ada
the judge hasnt decided on the shackles yet and as far as oakridge not to clear on that. go to youtube and type in what you are looking for or go to wftv.com or the orlandosentinnel.com

  12. Mom3.0 says:

My faith has not wavered in the prosecution team- especially in LDB I think she will do just fine against anything the defense throws into the mix- and I am willing to bet that she is well aware of everything the Defense may do inorder to garner sympathy for the family and Casey. I also believe she and the prosecution will be well prepared during the trial.

Even though Casey and the Anthony’s may be busy in giving themselves makeover’s there is still that pesky evidence to overcome. IMO there is the heart of the case- All of the evidence points to Casey

I just think maybe I was alittle too naive when I posted earlier regarding Cindy’s good behavior.

She may not have lied outright but she did try to paint the truth in the best light. (which as a mom I can sorta understand) Lee on the otherhand IMO lied outright. They were on their best behavior, and they both looked the part of a a grieving grandma and a lovable, jokster of a brother.

I simply thought taking a step back and posting from the perspective of a uneducated(in The Anthony’s) juror’s perspective would give each of us a different insight into the Defense’s strategy.

Casey’s defense (besides Baez) is schooled in the ways of jury’s. After all Judge Perry did say that the defense didn’t need someone to help pick the jury that Mason was well respected in this task.

I for one am not going to stop giving the Anthony’s the benefit of the doubt and I will forever, hope that they will come to their senses. I just have a feeling that come trial, we we scarcely recognize Casey and the Anthony’s, and yesterday may have been step one.

I do think Cindy’s emotions were real. I did feel her pain. I do think she was grateful that LDB brought out the truth-but I think only time will tell if her truthfulness was real, and which Cindy, George or Lee will show up for the trial.

  13. Mom3.0 says:

By the way Chica, I posted a comment earlier that somehow got lost.

  15. Leslee S. says:

I did not fall for Cindy’s tactics at all. All her testimony of “I don’t recall” or “I don’t remember” is the same as lying. She has not forgotten one single moment of the last 2 yrs. She’s plotted throughout it all. That gal knows every single word in interviews ,etc. that she has ever spoken. Heck, I bet she has even memorized George & Lee’s interviews by heart. And if you read their state depos, they all claim that Caylee is alive. There has to be a reason they are saying this because if they truly thought this baby was alive, they would be screaming through the rooftops (as we all would). And if ya’ll go back & look at the tape of when LDB was questioning Lee, Cindy had fully recovered from her gut-wrenching performance & was whispering & giggling with girlfriend (gal from church that is glued to her now). It looked to me as though they were pointing & making fun of Linda. Nope, I’m not buying the ‘poor’ Cindy routine!

On another note, George looks to be lifting weights…definitely weightlifting arms. It looked to me that it pained him & irritated him (at the same time) to see Cindy get on the stand & lie. Of course, he will continue his lies, too, but there is just a little bit of either knowing right from wrong or fear of going to jail that worries him….unlike Cindy. She thinks that playing the sympathy card will keep her out of jail. Back to George’s ‘bulking up’….is he getting ‘pumped’ for the women? Is he preparing to defend himself in jail (George, that might not be wise b/c you might be attractive to many) or is he ‘pumping’ up in order to ‘lift’ that bus off of him?All I know is that he is one stupid man!

And now Lee….He is as stupid as his father! I thought if I heard him say ‘absolutely’ one more time that I would scream! He, also, seems to still have a smart ass attitude! He needs to learn how to dress when appearing in court. His girlfriend, Mallory, does, too. She wore short-shorts. Can you believe it!

The only person that got my sympathy was Cindy’s supervisor, Debbie P. & I do not feel that anyone should question the way she acted. What I saw was a woman that not only was obviously nervous but truly looked as though it made her sick to think that she was surely testifying against a friend. She did not want to be placed in that situation & I can’t blame her. But bless her, she seemed to have told the truth!

This is all just my opinion, of course…..but, I think, I am sticking to it! LOL

  16. Mom3.0 says:

Leslee S- Hi, I do not believe the things I wrote in my ‘juror’s perspective’ post-

I think Cindy’s boss was just as you said nervous, reluctant and embarrassed and sad. I do not question her behavior at all- I was trying to play devil’s advocate-

I do think that Cindy remembers everything, although, I do think her view of what happened is skewed- Hell, her whole world view seems skewed. She is no longer in reality and I don’t know if she will be returning.

As Judge perry was giving his reasons for allowing the tapes in, Cindy appeared totally devastated- She is crushed. I can practically see the heavy weight on her shoulders. She nods in agreement to what Judge Perry is stating. She agrees with his ruling. Cindy did the right thing, she called 911 and the tapes will play for the jury.

Even though she agrees that they should be played, and even though she knows Jperry is right. Cindy knows her words and excited utterances are what will ultimately help the prosecution win its case.

A grandmother’s wish, for help in finding her missing granddaughter, is ultimately going to send her daughter to death. I wouldn’t want to be in Cindy’s place. I have compassion for her, at the same time I can not condone her past behavior or lies.

If you listen to Judge Perry while he is handing down his rulings, you can tell that he has sympathy for Cindy’s plight. She did make those 911 calls. Without her taking that initiative, I don’t believe Lee would have, and I don’t believe George would have either.

I believe both of Casey’s ‘boys’ would have been content to play detective on their own, at least initially. Lee said as much during the hearing. He didn’t want to involve the police. He wanted to get inside Casey’s head and sleuth out where Caylee was. And as for George, FGS, he was a retired police officer, he KNEW what that smell was, and he drove that car off that lot and he went off to work, leaving his wife, in her state, alone with the car and her thoughts. He didn’t call police, or take charge of the situation. He called Lee, and sent him into the mess.

George is the only person that without a doubt, should have known exactly what needed to be done inorder to protect himself, his wife, his son, and his daughter’s rights. Instead he did nothing.

Don’t get me wrong, I still have compassion for George sometimes too. But man some days its harder than others.

I appreciate y’all kibbitzing about this until I can get to it, but I promise I will.

  17. chica says:

Leslee I am glad I am not the only one that seen thru cindys tactics. I think her saying caylee is alive is to discredit her mental capacity for those 911 calls. I heard about mallory wearing short shorts but I cant find a pic of it can you help me do you have a link? It sounded to me like baez and mason were trying to throw george under the bus with their questioning of debbie cindys co worker. Lee is just as loonie as his sister mother and father. I share your opinion :)

  18. MJ says:

Mom3.0….look at it through this filter also…..the gauzy, hazy close up of a frantic grandmother, her face a reflection of her trauma and fear, the camera then slowly pans to the black Mustang door slamming in the flower lined driveway, her tall worried son vows to find her, it’ll all be okay……

The close relationship she has developed with Jim Lichenstein from ABC has to be for something. A heart weary grandmother clinging to the unrealistic hope that her precious grandchild is still out there is soo much more sellable than the Morgan depo Cindy. Food for thought.
The money train still rides, imo

  19. MJ says:

Leslee S, LOL! Hmm, the George pumping up in anticipation to lift the bus off, too funny. And yeah I think he might actually worry about jail. He’s not been the sharpest tool and has gotten caught with his britches down more than once so, he might not feel very lucky, especially with his loverly wife at the helm.

Lee, I can’t even think of a post that Blink would let me get away with so….ITA with you!

  20. Heidi says:

What drama I felt while watching this hearing. Not sure my heart can take the up’s and down’s during the “Grand Finale”. I feel for all those who end up taking the stand. What a burden, yet this family seems immune to telling the truth. Such as, Lee can’t remember where Cindy stood while making the 911 call, when in fact in a previous sworn statement he states both Casey and Lee could hear the call being made. Wow!

  21. Annals says:

Chelsea, you probably already have it, but Cindy’s testimony starts in part 2 of the 9 part WFTV videos.

Oops for some reason I lost the link, but Chica has all nine links in her post #15.

  22. Mom3.0 says:

MJ- thanks for the filter. The Anthony’s could most definitely have ulterior motives for the makeovers besides for jury benefit. Made for tv movies would certainly play better the way you described.

I honestly don’t know what to think. But what I do know is that for many months we have all hoped and prayed that Cindy and George would do the right thing for Caylee.

Most of us have said, if only they would, see the truth, they can still love their daughter, they can still sit behind her, they can still want to spare her life, but if only they would do the right thing for Caylee.

Cindy did that at the hearing. She spoke as Caylee’s grandma. No, she didn’t point her finger at Casey and scream you did it! No she didn’t say , my God that smeell had to be the smell of my poor dead grandbaby! But, she did testify for Caylee.

She testified that Casey stole money. She testified that Casey had the car without her permission. She was very clear on that, despite Casey’s chagrin. She testified that Casey was refusing to take her to Caylee. She testified that She called 911 for help with getting Casey to tell her where Caylee was. She testified that the last 911 call was a call she had to make.

Could Cindy have been more forthright in her testimony regarding the smell? Most definitely- and LDB will get to the truth at trial.

The prosecution succeeded in getting the 911 tapes into evidence for trial and Cindy helped them.

I think Caylee would have been proud of her Grandma Thursday. I will be cautious in thinking Cindy has finally chose to sit in Caylee’s corner, but I will be hopeful that Thursday was the first step in Cindy being on Caylee’s side.

  23. Mom3.0 says:

Blink- I look forward to your return. Don’t worry will talk amongst ourselves.

It seems that the correctional phone call that Baez wanted to seal is one between himself and an inmate. Quite interesting. Not sure what to think. What I do know is Baez seems quite concerned about its release…

    http://www.wftv.com/news/24288435/detail.html

    He should be.
And it will be released unless he was retained by this woman. That is the only expectation of privacy he would be afforded.
    B

  24. MJ says:

IMO, Baez operates in his own egocentric vacuum. When he received that call, his mind probably never prodded him to use caution, determine facts, etc, in other words be an atty. Used to skirting ethics already in this case, used to defying protocol already, I’m guessing that his mind was already projecting, how can this be used. Because he has shown no problem incorporating lies and innuendo, I’m thinking his mind was racing with the possibilities and bet his mouth was racing right alongside. No telling what HE may have said. It’s about time his pack of lucky clovers is used up.

  25. ros says:

During the hearing (part 2) as Biaz questioned Cindy about the timeline of picking up the car from impound, he brings out when Cindy had access to the car and how much time her and George spent together before and after she went to work. Cindy tells that the first thing she did was take those items out of the car and put Casey’s pants into the washer. She goes immediately to work and returns in an hour. They asked what she did when she got home at 4:30ish. She says she took the pants out of the dryer. So…who put the pants INTO the dryer?
This just made me think. When did George go back to work? She was not home long enough to wait for the cycle to finish. ?

She did not say washer, she said laundry.
    B

  26. ros says:

That is correct, at 7:33 in part 2 tape, Cindy does say laundry. At 11:08, she says she took the pants out of the dryer. Still doesn’t play right with me. It is a jump. How did they get in there considering her time line. I think she is compressing her actions to not allow for time to fool around with the evidence.

  27. chica says:

    MJ
YESSSSSS U ARE SO RIGHT!! NOT YELLIN AT U JUST AGREEING MAKING SURE YOU HEAR ME LOL.

Mr baez is an egomaniac and it appears mason is just as well!! they feed off of eachother in their personalities. it will be interesting to see how they act in court when the trial starts.

  28. chica says:

    mom3.0
yes we can talk amongst ourselves while blink takes care of whatever she needs too or takes a much need break!! with her family !! she does a great job and deserves a break. I love interacting with yall here … however I am missing a few people like my buddy dee and where is kleat hmmmm

  29. Mom3.0 says:

Here is a link to the motion to seal the call.

I think you are right Blink, Baez has nothing to stand on in his argument. What was he thinking? Anyone knows all communication from jail is monitored. Perhaps he forgot this because the rules don’t seem to apply to his client, at least as long as Baez himself is willing to bend the rules.

If all this was because this woman was going to refute Maya and the other girls testimony- wow! I mean everyone already knew that much of what they said needed to be taken with a grain of salt. I certainly don’t think the Prosecution was banking on any inmates testimony making or breaking their case…

Could Baez’s have said or done something in that call to warrant disbarment? It would be apropos that someone’s taped conversation would be his downfall, after his arguments that Jay Jordan’s tape should be played.

    http://www.docstoc.com/docs/47211552…obin-Lunceford

By the way the other case (The Lollipop Boy )this inmate inserted herself into has some similarities to Casey’s story… Things that make you go hmmm?

  30. Heidi says:

Do you believe how stoic Casey was during the last hearing? I’m wondering what her posture will revel without the SHACKLES around her feet?

  31. chelsea1515 says:

Have just spent whole evening watching/listening to the 15th July Hearing. IMO Lee is the Defenses weak link and under cross examination will fold like a pack of cards. I felt like throwing up when he mouthed ILY to Casey – after what she has accused him and their father of!! All families will close ranks during times of crisis but this is just one weird family.

  32. Leslee S. says:

    Hey to All!!!

    Mom3.0:
Oh, I know what you were saying. I was not fussing at you… I was just fussing, lol

    OKAY, GUYS:

It has been brought up elsewhere that the reason that Cindy, George & Lee have stated that they believe Caylee is still alive is that they are under an investigation for their scam foundation & I guess, if they knew the baby was dead & were still scamming for dollars & obstructing, then they would be in big trouble. This way, when they say that they believe Caylee is still alive, they will be able to claim that they did not scam anyone. This makes perfect sense to me. I will add that Dominic Casey (state’s witness) might be testifying that the Anthonys knew Caylee was dead & just perhaps, he will state that he was told exactly where Caylee was.

I hope that I made sense. Ugh, dinner is ready so I am rushed. Anyway think about it. I hope that BLINK will make some comment on this.

  33. chica says:

Well if what you say is true why havent we heard about it. We have heard nada about dominic casey and the anthonys sure dont seem scared or affected by anything or anyone. they seem to think that they are beyond the law. maybe just maybe the state will bring charges against the anthonys once they are done with casey. I am so glad that I am not working! because when trial starts I am gonna turn off my phone put a do not disturb note on my door! pull down the blinds and pull out the popcorn and drinks. or maybe even put a gone fishing for two months sign!!

  34. Mom3.0 says:

Yes Chica- I miss them too and where is Ragdoll? Perhaps they are smart and are outside enjoying nature.. LOL

Thanks for letting me know you didn’t think I was delusional, Leslee.

I know that during their earlier depos all of the Anthony’s eluded that they thought Caylee may still be alive.

I was shocked that Cindy said this during court.

I don’t know if it is a scam and I am probably giving way too much leeway (pun intended) to Cindy but to my way of thinking-

Cindy may have meant that there are days when she can almost believe Caylee is alive & coming home. It may be like any grief stricken person slowly coming to terms with the FACT that their loved one is gone forever. Cindy’s process is waaaaaaaay slower than normal-

But can I blame her, for that, No- There are people around her that are allowing her to delude herself, her PI, Joy Wray- possibly her friends- the Casey supporters that email her tips of a live Caylee…her own daughter & on and on.

Some days you come to grip with your loved ones death and think They are gone, its okay, I’ll survive, they are in a better place….
And other days you see someone in the store or driving by and you think My God was that_____?! Even though you know that can’t be.

Who hasn’t thought in the midst of their own grief, just for a moment, that your loved ones death didn’t happen? Who hasn’t ever had the fleeting thought while just waking up that your loved one is alive, only to be crushed with reality moments later?

I don’t know if Cindy tells herself Caylee is alive inorder to not have to face the truth of what really happened to her. I don’t know if she is delusional to the point of actually believing that Caylee’s remains were that of some other child.

What I do know is that funeral, was not for Caylee, it was for Casey- it was weird. I can certainly see at the time, that they may not have believed it was Caylee. If they believed that precious little girl was dead at the time, than IMO that service was not appropriate to honor her life.

I try not to be judgmental- I would never ever want to be in their place. I will never understand what they are going through. So I always TRY to give them the benefit of the doubt,. I know that alot of people scoff at this, and think me to be crazy- but its just who I am.

  35. Leslee S. says:

    Chica:

I’m not sure if I saw Mallory’s short shorts on Tru-tv or WFTV or clickorlando. Yes, I was multi-tasking! Anyway, it is a quick shot of her. I want to say that it is when she arrived with Lee. The other possibility is when she returns to the courtroom after being with Lee while he waited to testify.

  36. Leslee S. says:

Does anyone recall seeing Cindy even glance at Casey?

Also, didn’t Lee, at one time, say that he told his mom to go ahead & call 911?

  37. Mom3.0 says:

leslee, that was Lee’s testimony- He said he told his mom -Yes, go ahead and call ‘em- when she told him She isnt talking, I am just gonna call the police, should I?

Personally, I think he meant like: yeah, hey why dont cha? Trying to scare Casey the same way Cindy had been earlier.

In Lee’s interview with LE he made mention (PP)that he wished his mom would have waited to call- (in hindsight)he could have gotten more info from Casey if police hadn’t shown up.

Cindy on the stand while being questioned by the defense stated that Lee never wanted her to call the police, she said that she never asked him, she just made the decision to call again, on her own.

  38. Mom3.0 says:

I still don’t think Casey cares that she is on trial for her life. She seems way too carefree. Remember in the jail visits when she joked about the food and napping and reading? Do you all remember her calling the cells her dorm room?

Well, I know we have seen her cry a few times but I think she is just as removed as she always was-
Here is a link to her talking with the legal interns- She looked as if she was Carrie from Sex In The City, on a lunch date with her BFF, I swear she seems as though she doesn’t have a care in the world…

    http://www.wftv.com/slideshow/news/24286891/detail.html

  39. Leslee S. says:

    Mom3.0:

    Thanks!

I agree with your thinking that Casey seems so carefree. I’ve never seen anything like the way she walks into the courtroom just smiling away. Has Baez convinced her that she will be found not guilty? Does she think that because she seems to have fooled her parents one more time, that she can fool the jury? Or is she just content with her present situation & it does not matter whether she remains locked up for the rest of her life (don’t think that she has any concept of a possible death penalty…ain’t gonna happen)? The gal’s not right in the head, for sure!

  40. chica says:

    mom3.0
you gotta remember were not dealing with a normal person. casey lives in a different world like her mother !! they are all way out there in the twilight zone. I have never seen anything like it! unbelievable. I thought she would go nuts in jail. In the begining she was desperate now she has gotten used to her surroundings away from her mom. I think baez is giving her a false sense of security. they have her thinking that she is gonna walk out of there in masons arms. NOT!!! yeah I caught the little chit chat session she was having with the interns. but even they im sure can see thru her she is not your typical normal person. the girl has issues passed down from mommy dearest!!!

  41. chica says:

I do not believe she was molested its baez’s idea to make her look sexualy abused but how many trials do we see that the perpertrator claims to have been abused sexualy or otherwise and as a matter of fact jessse james now is saying the same thing. its tooo generic .

  42. chelsea1515 says:

    Mom3.0

I agree, Casey does seem carefree and unconcerned and in fact it reminded me of the Louise Woodward case back in 1997. She was the UK nanny charged and found guilty of second degree murder which was later reduced to involuntary manslaughter by the Judge. As a UK resident myself, I recall reading masses of stuff as it was a very high profile case and I remember feeling quite unsettled watching Louise in Court. On appeal the Judge stated “the circumstances in which the defendant acted were characterised by confusion, inexperience, frustration, immaturity and some anger, but not malice in the legal sense supporting a conviction for second-degree murder,” adding: “I am morally certain that allowing this defendant on this evidence to remain convicted of second-degree murder would be a miscarriage of justice”. Well I don’t think Casey would get away with that defense when you check out her behaviour past and present.

  43. Heidi says:

    #28

I agree. To wash & dry pants takes longer than 15 minutes. I believe Cindy immediately took inventory of the car and removed all EVIDENCE & FINGER PRINTS prior to going off to work.

  44. Leslee S. says:

    Chica:

I think that there are alot of things that the state is keeping mum. It is just way too weird that Cindy, George & Lee manage to get in their believe that Caylee is still alive yet they make no effort when in front of the camera to plea for help in finding her. Isn’t that what any of us would do if we truly felt a loved one was still alive?

About Dominic….you can bet the farm that Dominic has spoken loud & clear. He is on the state’s witness list. The state is not out speaking before the media so we have no info on what he has stated in his depo. And the defense is certainly not bringing up Dominic’s name because, imo, they know what he has to say is going to be a blow to Casey & her crazy family. I do wish someone like Kathi B./WFTV would ask Baez but maybe Kathi B. knows how important Dominic is & is not going to approach the subject (she is certainly not a fan of the defense team or the Anthonys b/c she seeks the truth). Dominic has the goods on the Anthonys & I believe that is why the Anthonys want to be able to claim that they have continued to believe that Caylee is alive. It would not look good for them if Dominic told the state that the Anthonys knew Caylee was dead early on & that they continued scamming & obstructing justice. He may even state that the Anthonys knew where Caylee’s body was & was sent to look for it.

We have not heard from BLINK anything about Dominic in a long time. BLINK, if you can give us anything on this, please do. We will understand, though, if you cannot.

In her testimony from Thursday, Cindy states she takes items from the car and put them in the backyard to air out. This, for me, finally answers the question of how the “decomp” got in that area and why the dogs “hit” there. I never could believe Casey had temporarily buried Caylee in her own backyard. Cindy has now added that piece of the puzzle.

Except she first stated they did NOT alert. I believe that was Cindy trying to control events.
