Portland, OR– The developments in missing Portland child Kyron Horman are enough to give a person whiplash this week; It is only Wednesday.
I absolutely believe that Terri Horman is responsible for Kyron’s disappearance-

During their interview this morning on the Today Show, Desiree and Tony Young did not mince words.
The sexual overtones to Mr.Cook, resemble the former exhanges between the individual Terri attempted to hire to murder her husband.– verbiage contempt motion
Are investigators any closer to finding Kyron Horman?
Sources inside the investigation have confirmed to blinkoncrime.com that both the FBI and Multnomah County Sherriff’s Office have been back on the scene in areas near the Skyline School, where Kyron wet missing on June 4th., and on Sauvie Island, the focus of intense search efforts including several dive teams today.
Of particular interest, is source confirmation that the landscaper Terri Horman hired last fall, who worked on the Horman property, had met Kyron at the residence as well as the Skyline School, where his firm had been contracted to do some work.
Rudy Sanchez, of RS Landscape Maintenance since 2008 has told MCSO that Terri Horman attempted to hire him in a murder for hire plot against her husband Kaine. Sanchez then agreed to participate in a surreptitious sting that included a body wire and a 911 call where patrolman had to be told by detectives this was an “on the job” non-threat. As fairly isolated areas go, this one has had a fair share of 911 calls.
No charges were filed by Ms. Horman against Mr. Sanchez.
A search for Multnomah County arrests under the last name Sanchez, show a United States Marshall arrest and hold of a Anselmo Sanchez since July 8th. It is unknown if this individual is held in the disappearance of Kyron Horman.
Blinkoncrime.com was unable to confirm through the Multnomah County Jail the nature of the “hold” for Sanchez, and all persons are presumed innocent.

i have to say IMO if the ransom was more i am sure someone would break….there is no moral compass of the people involved… 25k may be something.. but it clearly isnt enough for this group. But i believe there is a ransom amount that exists to get to the truth.

This may have been addressed already, but I believe there are many people who feel that HopeinVa (who has now changed her screen name to insintel)is actually TH herself. I read some of her posts and do believe that it is either her or someone who knows her very, very well. I’m not sure why, but as I read his/her posts, I belive most of what is being said, (other than TH is innocent, etc.) She describes some things in great detail, such as the photos on MC cell phone, what they were, when they were taken, and that some of them were actually photos of a photograph that he took with his phone. Now who would know something like that other than TH or MC. I should say, who would know something like that AND jump on a message board to discuss it? This person gives some pretty intimate details that just a friend or co-worker would not normally be privy to.
If it is indeed Terri posting, it just further demonstrates what type of person she is. Reminds me of what I have read about arsonists staying at the scene and feeling exhilarated watching the blaze.

I’m finding it hard to keep track of what is truth and what is rumor at this point. There are some peculiar posts at Oregonlive that have been suggested as being from the TMH. Even if they are not, the actual poster seems to be intimately connected to the case (TMH’s friend?). I was particularly troubled by a post I found tonight regarding the doctor’s appointment that had been scheduled for Kyron and the confusion over the date of that appointment and the fact this may somehow be linked to his disappearance.
I have found several mentions at various sites that TMH had to fill out some paperwork with the school for this appointment. Is this actually true to your knowledge? If so, what kind of appointment could this have been? I have two young school-age children and have never had to fill anything out AT their school for a doctor’s appointment. Immunizations and other required physicals are done with forms sent FROM the school to the parent or doctor. If it was some sort of medical (ADHD?) assessment, why was it being done at the end of the year? Why were forms being filled out by TMH at school at all?
One post suggested that an allegation of abuse might have been involved. Did the school suspect that Kyron was being abused? Is there a form a parent has to fill out if such an allegation is levied?You have mentioned several times that this was going to get worse before the case was solved. Do you believe Kyron being phycially or sexually abused by TMH or someone else? Is his disappearance possibly linked to a coverup of this abuse – abuse that may have been revealed at the upcoming doctor’s appointment?
Or is this just a red herring and Kyron became a pawn in a lover’s triangle (which does seem to be the way this is heading)?

To anyone hoping for a speedy resolution—including Multnomah County Chair Jeff Cogen—the example is not a heartening one.
On May 19, 1983, Downs shot her three children in Springfield, Ore., and drove them to the hospital. Downs famously told police they were victims of a carjacking by a “shaggy-haired stranger.”
But investigators almost immediately began to suspect Downs was lying. She was acting too calm, her surviving daughter was clearly terrified of her, and she failed to disclose that she’d recently bought a gun in Arizona. Witnesses said Downs was driving slowly to the hospital, but she claimed she was speeding.
As one source puts it, prosecutors knew Downs was guilty, and she knew they knew it. But she wasn’t a threat to the public, nor was she a flight risk.
So despite strong pressure then from the public and the press, investigators took their time in building a case. Downs wasn’t arrested until nine months after the crime, on Feb. 28, 1984.

So the answer to your question of why they’re not arresting her could be some of the same reasons in this situation. But consider this, LE and the FBI knows where Terri is and she is being watched…

I am not sure where it originated,but Phyllis is the name of a woman Kaine has been accused of cheating on Terri with. Additionally,I believe it has been rumored (again not sure from where the source sprung) that Kaine impregnated this woman.

Houze said his client has agreed to leave the home, and was working with attorneys to make sure Kiara and Kaine had the necessary possessions they needed.
“It is simply a matter of logistics,” Houze said. “It is not a simple matter to pick up everything and simply be gone.”
He also said Terri Horman has been the subject of threats. He said there’s been “threats of harm routinely directed towards my client which I take very seriously.”
He blamed the threats on what he called a “media frenzy…a witchhunt” directed at his client.
Houze also said he didn’t understand why Kaine would put his new address in the restraining order petition, when he could have chosen not to do so. He said he wonders how serious Kaine Horman’s safety concerns are, considering “they revealed to my client where he was staying.”
“It is one of the upmost concerns of my client that her daughter be in a safe, well-cared for circumstance,” Houze said.
“I suggest 96 hours, Monday afternoon.”

I believe for me, we are so eager for additional news, trying to make sense of it, and see someone possibly indicate we are idiots, it rubbed me wrong. I don’t know that I have ever said anything to anyone, I usually ignore things. I noticed this case has caused all to be edgy b/c it’s horrid. The posts are so obviously her, and I don’t think it is someone close to her, I think its Terri. These may prove to be her undoing. I have that same impression to — the tone of the posts is heavy-handed and oppressive. No doubt Attorney Houze has told her to lay off the internet and no doubt she’ll proceed to do whatever she likes. I would not be surprised if she’s become drawn into cyber-activities, particularly the World of Warcraft stuff which can be very addictive and relationship-killing. (I’m surprise not to have seen more follow-up on that particular topic.)

I am certain that if you do some Oregonlive research, you’ll find these posts came from oneshot (like one shot at prosecuting you-TMH?–THs old online moniker), then hopeinva. I read them myself.
Tarheel asked earlier today about where I had learned about Kyron’s lunch not being packed. I think it was on KGW, but it may well have been conjecture, although the poster stated it with some authority. I cannot find the exact link now. I was interested as I had been wondering about that issue, but I’m afraid it remains in the realm of rumor (unless anyone else has seen confirmation?).
This is such a circus!
I remember watching a video with Natalee Holloway’s father and he said something to the fact that he was lucky he hadn’t dropped dead of a heart attack with all the craziness involved in the case.
Thats how I feel about those uninvolved with Kyron’s case. What an absolute nightmare! The fact that his disappearance is connected to TH makes it all the worse.
All I can say – is i PRAY they find this baby, this poor innocent sweet faced frog loving angel.

Thinking about what we know that we do not know. If anyone would like to pitch in, pls do. The idea is to put down “what we know” and since we don’t know much about what we know, move out with logical questions from there. I’m making the assumption that LE knows what they’re doing and have ruled out the more bizarre possibilities. Also, I’ve missed a category, I just realized from reading Shelbar’s comment–the glasses–so I’ve added one below. Hope this helps someone. It sure helped me, just to get it all out of my head.
These are all facts that are bugging me.
LSL
–Since LE knows that the sexual lures used for MC were also used for LSL, this probably means that LE has LSL texts and photos to go with.
That means they know who the LSL is, so it’s the person in the sting, not another person.
That means they have TH in writing before Kyron’s disappearance, and if she trusted LSL, she may have alluded to something between sex shots.
If LSL has info about Kyron’s location, and LE has any kind of info on LSL, forensic, written, etc. then LE can leverage that against TH. Did LSL have an associate who worked cheap and didn’t mind handling a 7 year old?
The doctor’s appointment
–No word on this from LE, but that is a yes/no, and I think it must be important info since there’s been nary a peep about it.
If TH lied to the teacher about an appt, and there wasn’t an appt at all, that’s a serious faus pas on the part of TH.
If TH told the teacher that the appt was for 6/4, but it was really for 6/11, then it’s the teacher’s word against THs, but since THs word isn’t worth anything at this point AND she has reason to lie…
Also, interesting to know if the teacher is really hard of hearing, or if that was a TH lie on the fly.
And why have there been no media interviews with Ms. Porter. Odd, that. Is it possible that when asked by LE not to speak to the media, Ms. Porter complied to help Kyron?
ETD
–first story was that TH said goodbye to Kyron at 8:45, and left.
Then we heard that Kyron was last seen at 9 a.m. but LE wouldn’t say by whom or with whom.
Then LE recently stated that TH left the school around 9 a.m. That’s 15 minutes later for the ETD on TH. Meaningful?
And who saw Kyron at 9, and who saw TH leaving at 9 instead of her reported 8:45?
This has never been clarified, and questions result in “no comment”. But if Kyron was last seen at 9 a.m. by someone and TH’s ETD has been bumped to 9 am….
The “other person”
LE has leaked information that another person may know what happened to Kyron.
Is it LSL?
Or a new beau, perhaps one after LSL or simultaneous to LSL?
Is the new TH/MC sexgate being used as leverage by LE to show the other person how little they really meant to TH?
IF LE knows that there is another person, and they know who that person is, then I’m going to hope they have some leverage and some evidence against that person.
Kiara
–Where was Kiara that morning? She’s 20 months old, so she can’t account for her own time, but she had to be somewhere.
There are conflicting stories on this: at the SF with TH according to KH & DY, but no one saw her and there were no pictures. At first, we heard at “daycare” or with a “sitter” but nothing/no one has been identified with that.
Whoever had Kiara had to have an idea of when TH dropped her off and what happened when TH picked her up. Could it have been LSL? At first I thought “no way!” because who would trust their child to someone who they’d asked to murder their husband, but then quickly got a grip! No normal person would try to have their husband murdered, so… Where was Kiara?
The store videos:
It’s been confirmed that where TH said she was, and where she actually was conflict based on cell phone pings *and* bank transaction trail (future criminals, please take this advice: Cash, baby, Cash!) SO if LE wants to see if TH was at either of the two stores from which videos were requested, they may already know that TH was there based on a bank trail.
If she says that she was there and that she paid cash, LE may just be reviewing tapes to see if her story is true.
But if she was already using her bank cards, maybe cash transactions aren’t the issue, and LE wants to see the videos for other reasons–like to see who, if anyone, was with TH. To see if Kiara was with TH? To see if anyone with TH bought anything?
To check her clothing (like hipwaders would be a big fashion faux pas for her that day) and demeanor? Why did they need video tapes from those 2 stores specifically? For those who don’t know, some Fred Meyer stores have outdoor departments and hardware supplies.
“Dropped off”
–This is semantics, but as we know from reading Seamus O’RIley’s blog, semantics matter.
During one of the first interviews, I think the one where it was just KH & DY, they said that all they knew was that Kyron was “dropped off” at the SF. Odd choice of words, I think. I think “took him” would be more common. But those words have bothered me since because “dropped off” is commonly associated with “picked up”. To test that, I’ve been using “drop off” instead of “bring” and “leave”. Inevitably, the response I get back includes the words “pick up”. So… was Kyron “dropped off” for someone?
Forensics
–I was happy to see that word used today, because it seems like nothing has been found. So maybe something has. I’m hoping so for the obvious reason, and because if Kyron can’t be found, no forensics there, and if Kyron is no longer alive, then as someone pointed out, with the heat and the moisture…
Awful thought, but if the worst has happened, I want LE & the FBI to be able to have evidence so that they can fully and successfully prosecute those involved.
The Glasses
-Ha, oddly, they fall under “forensics”. Looked to Blink’s experts that they were the real glasses, and I’m far from an expert, I just have a mac, but I blew them up , and they did look worn. The most we know is that these might be Kyron’s glasses, and they might just be a duplicate pair.
If they’re his glasses, were they found during the search? (not just a forensic clue, but a locational clue, too)

That is very interesting. If it is Terri, what could have been the “rush”, especially since I thought I read somewhere that Kaine didn’t even know she had hired a LS? The “gracious in doing doing so” with the smiley face was strange too. If it is a different TH, I don’t think it would mean much, but if it is from her, then it sounds like a “private” message from her to her LSL.

Wait a second…………Kaine Horman told investigators he was not aware of TH hiring a landscaper. IF the KH above is Kaine, then his story doesn’t line up.
After perusing this site for over a year, I’ve realized that it has no connection to Blink 182, or any suburban-outlet-mall punk band for that matter. Are the rest of you aware of this? Happily, my time here has not been a complete waste. I’ve learned that

For those who don’t understand why TH has not been arrested, check out the case of Heather Mallory, a 32 year old Portland woman who went missing in 2008, and whose husband has just been arrested for her murder.

The case appears to have attracted zero public attention. The husband’s behavior at the time of the Heather’s disappearance was highly suspicious, and, according to the press repot, LE has been working the case since 2008. It was the discovery of Heather’s body, together with items that implicated the husband, that lead to his arrest earlier this month.
Persons have been convicted of homicide based on circumstantial evidence. However, no prosecutor worth their salt will take such a case to trial unless the circumstantial evidence is very strong – strong enough to convince a jury “beyond reasonable doubt.” (Remember – OJ got off.) Moreover, a suspect that is free may just do something stupid enough to provide LE with evidence of their guilt.
The evidence made public thus far suggest that TH either is (a)guilty – and very dim witted, or (b) not involved with her step son’s disappearance. If the former is the case, than it makes perfect sense for LE to TH her rope. She will hang herself. Any fan of CSI should know to turn off her cell phone the day she commits a crime. And then to use a traceable cell phone to “Sex” Cook and transmit a photo of court documents is unfathomably stupid. TH is clearly a thoroughly unpleasant and unprincipled woman – but that doesn’t make her guilty. It has occurred to me that perhaps TH was up to something else on the morning of the 4th that she is trying to hide.

Good points. I agree that the name on the MCSO site is not as mainstream as “rudy,” so I think you may be on to something there. I realize there may or may not be a connection, but if there was this is what makes sense to me. I have known a lot of immigrants, that change their name or alter it, especially men that go by a more “american” sounding name. I think there is reasons behind that this that aren’t too hard to guess. Also, I believe a “marshall” hold means “Federal hold.” Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure about that. But if I am correct, Federal could also be “INS?” or would they put an “INS” hold? That I don’t know.

I think that this refers to the pre-sting calls. Such as if LS was a “scorned lover” and he was threatening her, saying give me money or I am going to…If TH was innocent of the MFH plot, why didn’t she press charges if she were being threatened or harrassed?

I can only speak for myself, but it’s hard to understand all of Binks meanings, pull the facts from rumors (although I try and I genuinely try not to perpetuate any rumors), get everything in order. I used to sew, knit, craft, clean, watch movies, read books, but now to keep up with Blink&co and this case, any free time I have goes to the 2 hours a day between my kids bedtime and my bedtime to try to “catch up” on here! So, I am sure I make some leaps sometimes, but I try not to! And I think that most of us BEG for correction, if we took too big of a leap or took a wrong turn! I think most of us just want the facts and not to perpetuate rumors.

Blink, I thank you and I’m sure the fine landscapers of Portland thank you for quenching our curiosity over THE landscaper lover’s identity. I’m relieved it isn’t the guy I thought it was because I kind of fell in like while researching him!
Anyway, I wanted to answer a question about the possible form that the teacher was asked to fill out. I work with struggling readers who may or may not be on an Special Ed. IEP (individualized education plan) and my sister works in a preschool serving children with behavior and autistic spectrum disorders. Teacher input is often sought out for medical diagnoses of ADHD, Autism, Bipolar Disorder and many other disorders.
Often what parents see as lovable quirks in their kid teachers see as indicative of something that will interfere with their learning. And they often have a hard time accepting that any thing could be wrong with their little angel. Many times they have set up their home so that the child doesn’t become frightened or overstimulated (or give in and just feed him macaroni and cheese and pizza everyday). It’s when the child has to function in a structured environment over which he or she has no control, that the problems occur. I have been on both sides of the issue, as a parent (heartbreaking) and as a reading tutor.
In Kyron’s case, I’m pretty sure I saw an eye roll when Desiree mentioned he was having problems following directions at school. As the weekend parent, I can see why she wouldn’t have noticed this. I can say one thing for sure, though, if there was a doctor appointment or paper work to fill out, the school would be violating Kyron’s confidentiality if they said anything about it one way or the other.
Multnomah County Jail has quite a few inmates on a US Marshall hold. There was a large heroin ring bust and ICE raid from what I read. Unfortunately, I could not find a list of inmates, so randomly entered names I thought appropriate and guess what? After I checked out the booking photo and info, I googled the name in Portland Oregon and found that the first inmate specializes in landscape maintenance. Another inmate name googled was discovered to belong to a gentleman who had also been in jail in and lived in Columbia County, the county just north of Sauvie Island. This could all be as coincidental as a Sanchez being in jail and having the same last name as TH’s buddy. Wish I had more time and wasn’t so tired from working all day. Maybe someone else has the time?
I should have said that the reason I was looking at who was in Multnomah County Jail was to maybe find out if LE had hauled in a bunch of friends, family, co-workers who Rudy may have contacted in the past few months.
Two days after Kyron’s disappearance TH added me as a friend to her Facebook. After seeing her on the news I immediately noticed this person had two distinctly different persona. It appears that TH is extremely comfortable in her own skin, behind closed doors, that is. Boldly commenting on her Facebook, defensively blogging on the internet and now Sexting with attached nude photos. Perhaps to comfortable for someone who publicly appears distraught, victimized and to scared to speak on their own behalf.
My question is what if TH strategically placed herself @ Sauvie Island
the day Kyron disappeared to throw off LE?
What if her deception is part of the ploy to keep LE looking in a place that she absolutely knows Kyron is NOT at?
If LE were HOT on the trail of Kyron’s actual whereabouts would the responsible party be so privately comfortable? Yet so plausibly distressed? Perhaps this person is not as foolish as she wants us to suddenly believe! Or is she guilty of nothing more than not giving a damn, just poorly acting as if she does?
TH claimed to be a huge fan of CSI, Dexter and having an Irish red headed temper. She holds a Master’s Degree, enjoys body building, teaching and was happy to be actively involved in her community. Certainly not the wall flower she is outwardly showing on camera now. Please ponder this with me.
