Kyron Horman Missing and Endangered: Grand Jury Meets, Indictment Imminent

Portland, OR- In the case of missing 7-year-old Portland child Kyron Horman, developments today continue to unfold at lightening speed.

During a poorly-kept secret convening of a special grand jury that is in session today, sources inside the investigation believe it’s triers of fact will return an indictment against Terri Horman and possibly one other individual.

It is however, unclear as to whether or not the grand jury is hearing evidence in the alleged murder for hire plot MCSO informed Kaine Horman his wife had master-minded, OR evidence surrounding the disappearance of Kaine and Desiree Young’s son Kyron.

KOIN caught Terri Horman’s friend DeDe Spicher, who was subpoenaed to appear in the proceedings this morning, on video with her attorney, entering the courthouse. Spicher was the subject of a public plea asking her to cooperate with investigators by Kaine Horman and Desiree Young last week.  A neighbor of Spicher’s has confirmed the FBI has been seen removing boxes and unknown bagged material from her residence.

According to several sources, DeDe Spicher, Terri’s roommate  post Kaine’s restraining order,  was working in a garden near the Horman home the day of Kyron’s disappearance when she received a call at approximately 11:15 am. She left abruptly, returning at approximately 1:00 pm. DeDe was unreachable on her cell phone during that time and the property owner became concerned. Spicher is a long time friend and workout companion of Horman’s.

Earlier today, Laura Rackner, Kaine Horman’s Family Law attorney filed a motion to find out where the funds are coming from to foot the bill for Terri Horman’s high profile criminal defense attorney, Stephen Houze.

In Horman’s motion, he is seeking the disclosure of the payments made to Houze, and whether or not it came from marital funds. If it has, Kaine Horman wants half the cash to pay his own legal bills. Kaine Horman alleges that Terri Horman disclosed to a third party that she paid a whopping $350,000 retainer to Houze, however, provided no proof of same in the papers filed today.

In what appears to be a media timing coup, tonight’s episode of Dateline NBC will feature Kaine Horman, Desiree and Tony Young, with interviews and coverage of Kyron’s disappearance.

Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer, Mary Lindstrand, has announced a press conference tomorrow at the MCSO Training Facility, beginning at 2:00 pm PST.

@cbickel: From the article you linked, the following quote by LE regarding the search is interesting:

“We just have a couple loose ends we’re following up on.”

I wonder if this mean they’ve already collected a lot of evidence and are nearing resolution?

I totally agree, Jan. The DA should prosecute Terri’s phone-buying friends. They will all attempt to say that they are afflicted with acute pneumoencephalopathy, but these ladies have probably watched 1000s of hours of crime shows. They are not airheads regarding obstructing justice and they knew the definition of it. They bought the “secret” phones for Terri anyway.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet…TH said she drove the Truck around for 90 minutes on the 4th because of Kiara. 90 minutes of constant driving on those twisty back roads would eat up a lot of gas. Hope someone checked the gas receipts and/or their credit cards to see when the last fill-up was prior to the 4th and, the one right after. This might be a useful tool to determine just how much driving she did.

    @ AmyL:

I have a child in the PPS system and when he was in elementary school I did not recieve any notification of his absence. From my understanding each school is a bit different, but they all use an automated system. The school my son attended had a very high rate of parent involvement, so perhaps they didn’t find it necessary, and I did not get any calls if he was absent. But the middle school he goes to uses the automated system. If I call in the morning to say that he is absent, they do not call me later in the evening. If I forget to call the automated sytem calls me at about 6pm. I assume they mark a childs absence with “excused” or not and thus it may or may not be plugged into the automated system. So, with what you said, I think TH notified the teacher so that no alarms would be raised, considering he WAS there in the early morning and then missing…this could alert the teacher to be concerned by his absence.

@FLgirl: I agree with you, 100%. I don’t think it makes sense that LS wouldn’t agree to MFH, but then kidnap her step-son??? This case is beyond bizzare, so I wouldn’t ne surprised by whatever the truth turns out to be, but I just can’t wrap my brain around how TH could NOT be involved at this point. What actions were taken by her, I am open to all ideas, but I firmly believe this is due to her planning in one way or another. I think TH is the vampire, or at least one of them. And if it is true that a tip given by Dede Spicher is leading to further searching…well, I don’t see how Dede would be able to offer that tip if TH wasn’t involved on some level. Further, it’s very disconcerting that DD could have been sitting on this information, and I wonder what kind of “tip” would lead to these search areas??? I can understand DD being a naive “good friend” to TH, but having info to where Kyron could be located, geez, that would eat me alive no matter how good a friend I was or my “friend” was.

Hope these leads will lead to kyron.

    TO ALL:

Previously I asked about the GJ process and didn’t get any feedback, so I will (humbly) ask again…

Does anyone know “how long” a GJ can take, is there a time limit? And does anyone know if this GJ is looking for an indictment of TH, LS or both? Wouldn’t they need separate GJ to indict different people, or can they conviene GJ’s and indict more than one person based on evidence presented? TIA for anyone that responds, best guesses work for me too :)

P.S. Tarmancer You seem to me to be a class act. After I unintentionally may have offended you, you offered an olive branch. I appreciate that.

As far as my amateur analysis of TH’s facebook profile and her apparent political leanings, I was not intending to make any political statement at all. When I saw that she seemed to endorse someone who is a right wing conservative extremist, I thought that if TH was possibly dabbling in so many deviant behaviors such as the sexting, the MFH, and everything else, it seemed incongruent with someone who posted their support for someone with such an extremely rigid moral stance as Angle.
Now, having said that, I hope that I haven’t offended more people. I have dear friends and family who are very conservative and right wing. I am not trying to say that one is right and the other is wrong, but that there are some possible incongruous behaviors going on here with TH.

  12. Ava says:

Did you arrange to have Kyron kidnapped, and do you know where he is- those answers were not deceptive. For me, there is no question she let the vampire in the house, but then what? Kyron did not leave with TH. The key to this case as I have stated before, is Rudy Sanchez and his associates. Remember.. “she led him on.. he was expecting something..”
    ——————–
I wonder who knew Rudy first between DDS and TH. Curious how that introduction went down. The possibility of it being Rudy or Associate seems plausible because I believe it had to be someone Kyron knew. But I’ll go one step further and say it was with someone he knew and trusted so it wasn’t Rudy or Associate. Seems too much of a stretch. It could’ve been another someone-someone who may have been at the fair who happens to live at Sauvie Island.

Pings to SI indicate to me that whomever was involved, knew that SI would be the first place to look if caught so it was a hand-off point or meeting place rather than a final destination. I say this because the road to SI is somewhat near the industrial side of Portland and although heavily traveled by car, is a straightaway to get the heck out of town if one wanted to, and in areas that are heavily wooded.

Back to the poly: I still don’t buy into Terri’s story even if those questions were found ‘not deceptive’. I will postulate that it could also mean that she is being truthful to those questions -if- the truth happened to be: “Did you arrange to have Kyron killed” and “Do you know where he is” because he wasn’t really “kidnapped” but “killed”. I’m dabbling in semantics, of course.

All that aside, it still doesn’t excuse the fact that 3 polys were required and her subsequent whiny-baby attitude (per Kaine/Tony) makes me think she isn’t the red herring but actually one step removed from the act.

Within the course of the investigation, more deceitful behavior has occurred, and from that (facts or not) we can glean a small piece of her true character. She may have had good intentions from the start, but her subsequent behavior has had my brow raised for quite some time.

    What’s that saying? … ;)

  13. puzzled says:

Unless DeeDee buried the body, she doesn’t know where Kryon is. Right now she’s trying to mitigate her involvement after the fact by giving up the rendezvous spots of TH and others as well as filling in the missing time for TH and herself on that fateful day. Let’s suppose TH got a phone call informing her that Kyron had been abducted and she set out in search of him at the hidey-holes she had. At some point DeeDee is called and she takes up the search. Both efforts come up empty and they try to resume normalcy until the next shoe drops.

This weekend search and rescue trucks were seen gathering evidence at multiple locations (hidey-holes ??) and no Kyron (that we know of).

I understand that the purchase of cell phones began within a few days of Kyron missing; suggesting that they were trying to keep him alive and/or released before anything further happened.

If TH knew that Kyron was abducted but alive and did not inform LE of everything and he then was murdered, she is in big big big trouble. If he was murdered soon after his abuduction, she still is in big trouble, just not as much. This is why I think she has not been arrested and charged. Also why attorney has not made a statement. They’re waiting until Kyron is found.

Still unanswered –where is Kyron ??

If it’s empty, then I wonder why the trash and recycling carts were out by the roadside? Maybe someone is renting the house or it’s been unattended for a while and the carts have been out for a long time.

Certainly if someone were to drive by the house every day, and notice the carts sitting out there for a long time they might assume the house was empty or that the occupants were away.

One thing I haven’t discussed in regard to TH is what it means for Kyron if I am wrong. I am not giving up my position that there to date is not enough hard evidence to link TH to Ky’s disappearance. But I am a big enough girl to admit that I really don’t want TH to be guilty or even complicit in this crime. Because that means that the parent who spent the most time with Kyron, who threw him birthday parties and bought toys and candy for his easter baskets, turned on him and did the unthinkable. And I can’t fathom the betrayal this little angel must have felt if that is true. When you all declare that I am an advocate, it really isnt TH I am advocating for. I want justice for Kyron. And I want to be damn sure the responsible party is put away

I look at the pics of Kyron and his siblings and I, like you, can’t imagine the horror, confusion and terror this little boy went through if indeed the woman who nurtured him is involved. If she’s guilty, again, like you, there isn’t enough that we “know” now for me to make up my mind, then let her be punished…first and foremost for me right now is just to bring him home.

Thoughts and prayers are with Kyron, his brothers and sister.

  17. zinnia says:

@satori, I am not implying anything of the sort. I am far from being a right wing conservative, and as far as my morals go, I believe in the “Golden Rule”, to treat people as you would want to be treated, and there’s nothing wrong with my morals. And I am not intending to make moral judgement on any political leaning. I’m sorry if my comments offended you. I think you have misinterpreted what I was trying to say. I know history fairly well and have read plenty of books relating to how horrible atrocities have been committed in the name of religion. (The Chalice and the Blade” by Riane Eisler is one amazing book that comes to mind on that subject) I guess you may not see my point, and maybe I didn’t express it very clearly, and I am sorry for any misunderstanding. As I said previously, I was just trying to piece together different aspects of TH’s public facebook profile and compare it to her private behavior.

  18. Mermaid14 says:

I am wondering how we know of the polygraph question, did someone from LE leak that info?
I see it an entirely different way. If you asked TH “Did you arrange to have Kyron kidnapped and do you know where he is now?”, I could see how she could answer no truthfully and not be lying.
    1. She took him herself and therefore did not “arrange” a kidnapping with another party. 2. If she placed his body in a river which is a moving force she would not know where he is now.
It just seems to me like they are trying to involve too many people in this plot. The more people you involve in something like this the more chance you take of getting caught.
I don’t even think TH’s friends know where Kyron is. And when I use the term “friend” I use it very loosely. People like TH do not have friends, they have “people to use”. I am sure she manipulated them in her victimization game too. But in my view if they are willing to go along with it, they will go down with her.

  19. CentralORMom says:

    @ minima:
Under Oregon law, a GJ proceeding is one of two prosecutorial options for getting a Felony charge before a trial jury. (The other is a preliminary hearing before a magistrate). Witnesses may be more willing to come forward and testify candidly to the GJ because they recognize that the defendant will not know exactly what they said. As far as the period to serve …a Judge may continue the GJ in session for such period of time as the Judge deems advisable – meaning in some instances such as this, there is no set ending date. I have heard this GJ has produced over 200 Subpoenas to date. As far as who they are looking to indite – TH is a pretty good guess and, there may be others, it is still early. – Hopefully, we will know soon.

Interesting information about the searches that started this weekend and are ongoing. They are not necessarily looking for Kyron.

I wonder if DeDe told them she disposed of her phone (threw it out the car window) or if LE has discovered that disposable phones were also purchased before Kyron’s disappearance. It has always seemed unlikely to me that if Terri had planned this and was familiar with forensics, that she would allow herself to be open to ping evidence, especially where the crime took place.

  24. Phyl says:

@Satori – As a full-fledged member of the foot-in-mouth club and bi-polar politics, I took zinnia’s comment regarding the “ultra-conservative” to mean, “Here TH is stating that she supports someone who preaches a list of shoulds , yet TH seems to be doing everything against that list. In essence, TH seems to be a hippocrit, or as a fellow poster eloquently put it, that chick ain’t wired right. I can see how you could interpret it the way you did if you take them more than just labels or definitions, but I didn’t take it that way.

  25. twinkletoes says:

From a pure body language/eye movement analysis, Kaine, Tony, and Desiree are often photographed looking up and to the right or left, while Terri looks down. Up is usually creating, thinking, brainstorming, recollection. Down is guilt, submission, fear, self preservation. Based on this, my initial impression of TH was that she felt terribly guilty or somehow responsible for Kyron’s disappearance, though I guessed that the guilt came from “letting the vampire in” as B so aptly put it. I mostly still agree with that notion. But it sure does make one wonder what the hell could be so awful that it needs to be kept secret in spite of the loss of a child’s life (presumably). Or is there no terrible secret at all? And instead this whole focus on TH is simply a mistake by LE? I just don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know. And neither do any of you. Respectfully submitted. ;O)

And I know you probably cannot answer this, but I sincerely hope that TH was the vampire’s ulitmate prey and not sweet boy Kyron…

I just wanted to make additional comments about Sauvie Island as I’ve been in there many times. This is a farming community but the west end of the island (lower Columbia) is covered with canals and swamp. This year, we had high water (about the time Kyron was missing) lasting later in the season. The water overflowed into areas that are usually just swamp. One way to access is through Cunningham Slough (from the Multnomah Channel which winds to Sturgeon Lake. The primary access is by boat.

I’m sure LE searched these areas but it sure would seem easy to hide in there.

Skyline School did not use the automated system until after Kyron was missing. They were not connected to the automated system until after Kyron went missing. This was reported on and in the local media in the first few days of Kyron’s disappearance.

School started at 9am and Kyron was recorded as “absent” by his teacher at 10:00 am as stated in local media. That was it. There were no phone calls made or automated system in place the day Kyron disappeared.
    ———
There has been a lot of talk about child trafficking by some in reference to this case. Kyron’s situation, at least in my observations doesn’t fit with child trafficking for a lot of reasons. I will just name a few.

1-It has been said over and over that in the first part of Kyron’s disappearance, it appeared that it was being treated like a ransom. Child traffickers “traffic”, they buy, use, sell…..they don’t generally ransom their victims.

2-the general “average age” of kids trafficked is much higher in years than Kyron.

3-Traffickers spend and make money using their victims. If Kyron was killed in the first few hours of his disappearance which it is looking like, then him being sold to a trafficker doesn’t make sense.

4-The searches have centered all very close to home. Traffickers on on the move from place to place, notably in this part of Oregon, the I-5 corridor is the movement pattern.
    ——
Kyron is the reason we are here on this site. When the focus becomes balloon toxicity and other nonrelated topics, Kyron disappears from the focus. This is about finding Kyron and bringing him home, whether he is still on this earth physically or spiritually. This is about solving a crime and finding all of the perps. It just seems to me that all the talk about balloons and other non-kyron issues takes away from finding Kyron and honoring him, the little frogman.

@twinkletoes: you said, “…I can’t come up with any reasonable justification for wanting to speak privately without LE’s observation, however.”

Can I push you a little on that? From 2 sides:
    1. What if the girlfriends wanted to continue with their lives, talking about whatever comes up, innocent or not, without a bunch of guys listening to it. (Ex: Can’t cure this vaginal infection–what worked for you? Did Joe like the kinky photos? I’ve GOT to lose 15 lbs before the reunion, you got anything I can take? How’s that organic weed coming along?)

    2. Now, if the group wants to discuss where they hid the murder weapon, ex, or whether they think the scarey guys are following them, are they gonna use any kind of freakin’ phone? They just don’t seem that stupid. They’ll call up and say let’s meet at xyz for a walk. Then they’ll get together and discuss the crime they committed. They don’t live so far apart that their criminal escapades can’t be handled in person do they?

Yes? No? Why can’t I get excited about the phones?

I had wondered about the secret service being in on this investagation thinking maybe they were there because of identity theft or money laundering, maybe even something to with online activity. I decided to look at their web site at found something I didn’t know.

U.S. SECRET SERVICE PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR MISSING AND EXPLOITED CHILDREN
The public’s awareness of missing and exploited children in the 1980s had a profound effect on how America responds to this widespread problem. In an attempt to provide assistance to parents, children and the law enforcement community, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) was created in 1984. This was the beginning of a long term relationship between NCMEC and the law enforcement community throughout the world.

As part of the 1994 Crime Bill, Congress mandated the U.S. Secret Service to provide forensic/technical assistance in matters involving missing and exploited children. The Secret Service offers this assistance to federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. On April 30, 2003, President George W. Bush signed the PROTECT Act of 2003, known as the “Amber Alert Bill”, which gave full authorization to the U.S. Secret Service in this area.

The Secret Service has supported the NCMEC and local law enforcement agencies with its expertise in forensic photography, graphic arts, video production, audio/image enhancement, voice identification, computerized 3D models and video and audio tape duplication services.

“Ms. Angle believes that America was founded with a Judeo-Christian ethic. It is this belief that allows her to aptly support the traditional family, and come to find that “all life is precious.” “All human life is precious, regardless of location, age, infirmity, or degree of dependence,” declares Angle.”

Terri has not shown herself to act in a way that follows the belief that “all life is precious” or that support family. For example, affairs, a MFH plot and quite possibly bringing harm to her stepson.

I do not in any way believe than Zinnia was implying others don’t believe in traditional family values and the sanctity of life – just that Ms. Angle, someone who she apparently supports, has stated she does and Terri has acted in a way that shows she does not.

Zinnia’s observation in no way states that a politian or person of any degree of conservatism or liberalism cannot or does not hold the same moral beliefs. It was a comment on Terri, not Sharon Angle.

I like this site because every time someone says “what if,” it brings to the site a lot more ideas from everyone – not just rants. This morning is no exception. This is what I wondered after reading this morning.

What if DeDe is much more personally involved in this than most people have thought so far and she moved in with TH, not really as a friend, but to make sure Terri didn’t consider talking to LE or keep posting until some critical piece of information slipped out – maybe someone else involved even prompted DeDe to do this (or else!). Once TH got an attorney, DeDe had much less control over what TH might say if things started to go downhill even faster and if/when her attorney started pushing her to consider a plea bargain when it is feasible, so perhaps DeDe is trying to cut her losses by “contributing” to the investigation. Unless something could be proven otherwise, she could “contribute” quite a lot of false information and then say it was all guesswork based on whatever. She probably couldn’t be prosecuted for that unless there was proof she knew it was not accurate.

Some of the news stations may say a “tip” from DeDe, but others say developed from information DeDe gave (presumably to the GJ). After all this time, giving information when subpoenaed doesn’t carry the same “I’m cooperating” weight as coming forward on your own with a tip to LE in my book.

Roots says: I think Blink wants us to think about who would have access to a gated area of SI.

Seems to me, only someone who lived in a gated area, or their relatives, delivery or maintenance trucks, emergency vehicles, or the residents’ very close connections (friend or criminal) could have access to a gated area unless the resident was available to make arrangements for access for them. One would think that no one would attempt to access a gated residential area on a specific day within a specific window of time without pre-arranging to be able to do that or knowing they had been given access in advance and wouldn’t be noticed. I only remember hearing about BP living on SI with access to a boat dock, but maybe Terri has other friends there, too.

There are restricted areas that might be accessed – wildlife area, beaches – but there are also (at one time it was daily) patrols of those areas so, as someone said before, with all the berry picking, hiking, end of the year school visits, bird watching and other activities, not to mention residents and workers, some of SI could be eliminated as likely places you would go thinking not to be seen.

@twinkletoes Regarding the phones. I’ve been pondering the possibility that these were provided by LE. Take a look at this story:

    http://www.kgw.com/home/Husband-arrested-for-Heather-Mallorys-murder-97686674.html

Those of us in Oregon, particularly the Portland area may be familiar with this story. In this case, LE provided a tapped cell phone to a family member who gave it to the accused. The phone was then used as an implement to gather evidence to help bring about an arrest.

There could be several goals here, to unwittingly get more info from TH, or to get info from an accomplice of TH, or something else.

Perhaps this is what’s going on here?

@zinnia: I would describe myself as left-leaning and I was not offended by your statement. I totally get where are you are going with the disconnect. Terri might want people to think that she supports this politician’s views, but “someone with such an extremely rigid moral stance as Angle” would not approve of the real Terri. I have a few devout family members who are quick to judge others for not living up to a perceived morality while not having spotless lives themselves. Hypocrites! It all has to do with perception vs. reality. Remember Terri went to two Christian universities. Maybe she tried to control her impulsive behavior through that structure. For all we know, she may have tried really hard to get her act together and just not been able to do it. Or she just wants people to think she has it together.

Very interesting that the current search was supposedly prompted by tips from De De herself, yet – as part of this search – LE is interviewing people living in the Old Germantown Road area asking if they saw Terri, De De or the white truck on June 4 – along with asking for permission to search their property.

@cbickel: thanks for your research. Since Ky didn’t go out under an Amber Alert, Silly Service could have joined under 1994 Crime Bill. If funding is currently provided.

I’d like to see a timeline of when these various agencies joined the investigation and if/when they stepped out.

But, really, because of the electronic data discovery involved, any fed. agency that wants to get their share of kudos, has those capabilities, and has the funding can probably be assisting. AND THEY ARE!

That’s the thing. Instead of looking at each agency’s mission for clues as to what type of crime is involved, just look at the swarm of them jumping in. Makes me think they were early on (and maybe still are, though maybe NOT) looking for bigger game than a couple of local talents (whether illegal or not–illegal status is a yawner for them).

I have a child in the Beaverton School District. When he was in the 3rd grade, he went to an after-school class and was due home at 4:30 on the activity bus. He never arrived; to clarify, the bus never arrived. I called the school, no answer. I called Transportation, no answer. I drove to the school while my hysteria began to kick in. I could only find the librarian who said, “Oh you know,he probably went to a neighbor’s or something.” Naa. Sorry. I can SEE the bus top from my office where I work. The grounds guy then came in from the parking lot and told me that the transportation department would not close up until all the buses were in. He called them, no answer. So he concluded that all was well cuz if there was no answer, the buses must all be checked in. I had a hard time getting the anxiety button raised on ANYone. I was driving home from the school and my son called me. His bus had arrived while I was gone (around 6:00 pm),and since I was not there, he rode his bike to his dad’s who lived about 2 blocks away. Even back in the 3rd grade, my son had a cell phone for this very reason. Unfortunately, he had forgotten it at his dad’s the night before. I called the school the next day and still couldn’t find anyone who really found this to be much of a problem. The bus driver was a substitute and got lost. My son told me there were 30 kids on that bus and the driver was going back and forth to stops and then back again…as activity buses have more of an as-needed routing system and she got confused. Of course a bunch of 8-9 year olds thought it was all good fun. That was our last year at that school.

We then moved, but within the Beaverton School District. At THIS school, I picked my son up every day and occasionally he walked home. We are about 6-7 blocks away. On one day, when he was in the 5th grade, I went to pick him up, and he wasn’t there. I had less of a reaction this time, as I was thinking he had probably walked. I went inside and asked the secretary …she pointed me to one of the vice principals who was in a meeting. He put up his finger to pause the gentleman in the office with him for a moment. I said I was looking for my son, and he split out of that office like a cyclone had hit. He said, “I hear missing child and say no more….” I told him he may have walked, but we had not agreed on him doing that…He told me to head back my way towards my home and try a few routes he might take to walk, and he would get in his car and head the other way. Eventually, I found my son at home …having walked home with a friend and don’t ask me why he decided to do that out of the blue.

Same school district. Two absolutely different responses. I just do NOT get that the schools are not held to the same accountability with my child as I am when he is under their watch. What would happen to me if I admittedly didn’t know where my child was for 5 hours? I just don’t get it. I mean, you take roll call, someone is missing and you havent got a call from a parent? What on earth is there to wait for?

I don’t think that happenned with Kyron, but it has brought this thing up about schools notifying parents and I hope the schools have some stringent policies in place in a few weeks. It shouldn’t be up to individual schools to decide. These are our kids for crying out loud!!

@kuaitzudog Re: “does anyone think possibly DDS is leading LE on a wild goose chase?”
    ————————–
I thought the very same thing. What is to stop DDs from just giving LE some random info. At this point I don’t think I would be surprised if this was the case. I hope that it isn’t. And I would love Blink to tell me (us) why this would probably not be the case.

Another week, and still no Kyron… I still have hope that we will find him. I’m still praying – for Kyron, and LE. I get more and more sad every day, one – because he has still not been found, and 2, because everyday that passes I come to realize that there really are people out there devoid of compassion.. even when it comes to an innocent child. I just don’t get it…

Kyron, you are in the hearts of many – Always.

Regarding marina gates, as I recall, you can get into the parking lots of houseboat marinas, the gate area is only for actually going through the ramp to the houseboats. Just like you would at a regular boat marina. I could very well be wrong, but I’m thinking there may only be one houseboat marina on Sauvie’s and it has lots of trees in the parking lot.

The reason I remember this one, its down the road from the grocery and several u picks, is we considered using their parking lot for our car one time when we were drop in to kayak close by. We didn’t because we thought it would get towed. Some of these places are kind of rundown, not fancy areas.
