Parsons, TN- Tomorrow marks the one week point of the forcible abduction and probable assault outside the home of 20 year old nursing student, Holly Bobo.

Mark Gwyn, director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, announced the current reward offered has tripled to $75,000 thanks to a $50,000 commitment from Tennesee Governor Bill Haslam at a press conference yesterday at the command center.
Also during the press conference, Gwyn stated that Clint Bobo, Holly’s brother and witness to her walking into the woods with a man dressed in camo he thought was her boyfriend, was NOT able to provide a description.

Yesterday, Holly Bobo’s cousin, Whitney Duncan, appeared on Fox News and Good Morning America, thanking the public and asking folks to keep searching. She also appears to have lost her patience with speculation about her cousin Clint, possibly being not only an eyewitness, but a suspect.

Duncan’s sentiments were echoed by newly appointed family spokesperson Kevin Bromley as he appeared on the Good Morning America Show this morning:
“Clint is a wonderful young man and as a character witness for him, I would rule out any kind of rumors on Clint and the family would feel comfortable with me saying that as well,” said Kevin Bromley, a spokesman for the Bobo family.
The 7th day of the search began again today, at the new command center, The National Guard Armory located at 256 West 9th St, Parsons.
Kristin Helm, spokesperson for TBI announced yesterday they were choosing to move to this location due to the amoung of evidence that has been collected, and their need for enhanced security.
TBI has decided on a new tactic today, as reported by Will Nunley, of WBBJ-TV there is a roadblock set up on Myracle Town Rd and twelve new investigators from TBI have been added to the case this morning. (Editors Note: Nunley has been doing a stellar job in the field on this case, kudos, follow his tweets.)
This investigation is beginning to sound very much like how Canadian Air Force Colonel Russell Williams was nabbed – by a roadblock where the tires on his vehicle were spotted by an eagle-eyed investigator and were visually consistent with tire treads found at the scene of one of the murdered women.
Speaking of tires, www.blinkoncrime.com has uncovered what has been determined to be “materially relevant” to the case of the disappearance of Holly Bobo, by a source inside the investigation speaking to blinkoncrime.com on the condition of anonymity.
While our source will not comment on whether one or both ads are a part of the case or who they might be tied to, the ad from Parsons, appeared at 12:33AM on April 17, before the public was asked to notice who may have replaced tires or cleaned an ATV or vehicle.

As the search perimiters in previous days were located 6 and 8 miles away from Bobo’s home, where items of hers are believed to have been recovered, it begs the question, why would the focus turn to nearly 2 miles away from the Swan Johnson address of the Bobo’s, to Myracle Town Rd, in the opposite direction? Do investigators think the suspect has been trying to send them in the opposite location by planting evidence?
Police are interviewing neighbors in this Myracle Town Rd. and Box Rd. area today, as well as stopping motorists, of which there are very little. A different tactic indeed.
Searches in this rural terrain are daunting to say the least, however, the community outreach and response to requests for assistance has been nothing short of astounding.
While speculation that the suspect responsible for Holly’s disappearance is indeed a member of the very small town of Parson’s, and is well known to Holly and the Bobo family, many close friends of the Bobo’s are participating in searches of their own properties vowing to continue until she is located.
Many long time Decatur County families own large tracts of land near the Bobo residence.
Some of them for generations – including the Todd family, as an example, who owns large tracts in the Myracle Town Rd, Box Rd, and Gilbert Rd area.
Jason Todd, a former schoolmate of Holly Bobo’s as are MANY of Holly’s friends, will unfortunately end up searching for her in each other’s backyards.

Blink, has this person really covered their tracks that well? Seems to be ahead on the scorecard at the moment. Isn’t there a flight risk at this point? Last question, does LE view this as rescue or recovery at this point? Understand if you bypass.
They have reviewed this case as a recovery for weeks, unfortunately.
I have yet to decide how much planning was involved, vs. how much cover up and assisstance of same is involved to complicate the efforts to find Holly.

here is something i find interesting the supposed piece of tape found with a blonde hair on it when ur using tape in an abduction its more then likely to cover someones mouth maybe taped their hands behind their back so why would they find a piece of tape with a blonde hair on it the perp would not have took the tape off after taping her up i would assume the perp would keep it on so the question is could it be the tape with the blonde hair is the perps hair and not holly bobo’s maybe he took off too much tape and a piece of hair got caught on it and the perp didn’t relize it just interesting thought
I’ve read some inferences re: LB on other sites, but imo he’s just not fitting the profile (rich, creepy, etc.) from what I can find, and he does look to be in a relationship with SNR. Maybe he is a Holly ex-, but she’s a beautiful girl, and she was 20, she might’ve had more than one ex. Definitely not hard to imagine.
Re: the recent death in the community, so very sad, and esp a hard loss for Drew and coupled with losing Holly, my heart just breaks for the boy. I can’t fit the recent death with Holly, however.
If Blink is right, and I’m betting on it, I’m sticking to her profile of rich, weird prick, and most of these boys just do not fall into that category based on any info I can stir up. I’ve only found one who seems to be the only grandchild (so maybe spoiled early by the rich families?) with a prominent grandfather, who already has some land in his name (I think. so maybe already given to him?), who isn’t one of the group based on FB friends, etc.
Jackie- just to clarify, I never used the word rich, a persons wealth, or holdings as it were, are highly relative.

I know they know what’s being read, and it makes zero sense to me what I’m reading from any stand point be it real thoughts, strategy, plain bull**it, whatever. Especially BB. I figure it’s part of trying to throw people off, and I’m sure LE is not being thrown off.
I guess if anything I have to back myself out emotionally to a certain point. Even though I do feel we are all connected and the good people must come together. I’m not religious, more spiritual, but I find credence in the biblical passage Mathew 18:20 “for wherever two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in your midst”. I believe this forum and others like it bring an energy to all involved working toward justice in this case. We may not be here for God directly, but we are here for good (most of us) and to me it’s in the same ballpark.
I thank goodness for Blink giving us this medium to come together and show our support for good and our repulsion for evil. I believe all of the posters and readers here are contributing in both tangible and intangible ways. We will not turn a blind eye.

The family I’ve researched does have a nice bit of land and the names to go with but they’re not The Donald kind of rich by any means that I can tell. In relation to some others in the area, they might be on the higher income scale. Hard to say.
@Cnog: On some sites, CM has been put into the spotlight (I can’t find any basis for that at this time). If you check out his FB page, you’ll see that the boy killed was one of his BFFs. He & Drew & the boy killed were all close it appears.

@Jeff I think if you used tape to cover a girl’s mouth, it’s likely some hair would get caught in the process. She has long hair so it makes sense to me.
@Jackie Bauer…I am with you on this. I cannot decide what I think of these young men. They do not strike me as fitting the profile of a sadistic killer, but it’s all such surface information at this point, I dont know what to think.
Hopefully, the Bobo family gets answers soon.

Wow I mean wow ok let me start out with those of you that actually know me thanks for sticking up for me I can’t believe it’s took me so long to hear about this forum…prior to the Sunday after the search began I was a member of the Henderson county rescue squad I was at my my best friends house in Lexington also a member of the squad the morning of the abduction I was asleep until the the radio toned us out I did my part to assist the comunity and family even though iv never met them in my life… The tbi never once talked to me but yet because of the connections I have with the law I was able to contact the head of the case in FBI I was forced the talk to them and have them try to clear my name cause I was receiving death threats that required me to move back to parsons to protect my grandparents iv had people brake In to my house and but my family in danger and all over these crazy immature rumors… Iv donated DNA,scent swabs (required for the dogs they brought from FBI HQ),fingerprints and even took a polygraph test I don’t nor did I ever have anything to do with all this it really sucks liven in a mob like comunity like this cause if one person says the smallest negative thing they are out to crucify without logical evidence … I’m a well educated well respected father, boyfriend, and friend yet like anyone iv spent my time in trouble in my juvinille years more or less because I was hang in around the wrong croud ….but all that is beyond the point I’m trying to make all these rumors and pointing fingers is destroying my name and driven my family and friends in the dirt for no reason…. I know I can’t stop all the talking but all I can ask is keep my little girl and my Gf out of your conversations there is absolutely no need for it …. i was looking at the sex offenders in the parsons area and there is one guy that caught my eye i won’t say his name but he goes back a ways that could have possible ties to the other four cases the le was looking at now i don’t know if this guy is related to any of the aboved initlized guys because i have not researched but the guy did catch my eye

i am wondering if the blood in the carport is holly’s brother blood not because he killed her but because he got beat up is it possible the perps knocked him out with some kind of weapon this would explain holly’s scream plus it would explain the last thing he saw not to mention the time laps or it would also explain why he was there and why they waited til the parents were gone and why the family is not releasing any details just a theory

Me, too. I am shocked that so many people leave their FB page open! Just a word of advice to all: Even when you lock up your FB page so it is only open to your friends, it does not guarantee that that your personal information, photos, etc. will remain private, as I learned the hard way. A FB friend of mine had her account hacked – someone was able to gain access to her account and hence, view all of her otherwise locked up FB friends’ pages. Please keep this in mind when posting personal information and photos of yourself/your children – even if you take advantage of all of the FB privacy settings available, it doesn’t mean one of your friends has done the same or you or a friend won’t be the target of a hacker. Sorry to go o/t.

I just seem to get a strange feeling about LB. Seems he is an ex from a while back. He could definitely pass as about the same build/height from behind as DS (current boyfriend). Also seems strange to me that LB and DS, and CB all seemed to be friends at one point per MS pics posted, but neither Holly or DS are friends with him now on FB, and CB has only been friends with him since after the time Holly was abducted. Seems there must have been something that occurred there, perhaps a falling out. Just seems weird… something is not fitting.

I would also focus on underground or partial underground remediated areas, septics.
Your looking for someone’s “kid” hideaway, think culvert, large drainage, tunnels,
If the suspect is as comfortable and knowledgable about the land in the area, he is equally as comfortable with what is underneath it, and all creek and tributary directions and run offs. The staging of the known evidence in this case tells me Holly is closer to the area where she was abducted, and most definitely the crime scene.

So the hotel key found is linked to HBB, and what about the warm car, camo, duct tape, and her cell phone found in side of the car, is this true????????????????????
whats going on with this case
1. The hotel key has not been linked to Holly or anyone else in this case. In fact, it could very well be from a volunteer that dropped it, they stayed at that hotel.
2. The warm vehicle belonged to a hunter- he was in the woods, hunting- no correlation whatsoever.
3. The duct tape, has not been linked to Holly to my knowledge.
4. Her cell phone was not found in a vehicle. It was found at Tri Cement, based on a tip.
If I were asked, I would absolutely repeat the search activity ( I know where it was, and I am not publishing) that was taking place on Saturday and had been planned for Sunday. Imo, that “tip” came in because they wanted to move searchers away from where they were. It is post offense “nervous actions” like this that get people caught.
A general comment- No volunteer searcher, at any time, should be discussing what was recovered in the field, and if they do, I would seriously consider their motives for doing so. In any professional and LE sanctioned SAR team, all team members are REQUIRED to sign a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement.
I have had a volunteer come on here and demand I post about the “hotel key”, I refused for that reason, and because it cannot be confirmed to have anything to do with this case.
