LISTEN TONIGHT LIVE AT 9 PM ET TO DANA PRETZER ON SCARED MONKEYS RADIO

Dana welcomes special guests:

  • Crime blogger Blink from Blink on Crime will be discussing the shocking jury verdict of “not guilty” in the murder trial of Casey Anthony. In a head spinning decision, the jury in Orlando, FL took 10 hours of deliberations and came back with a “not guilty” verdict which begs the questions, is it “reasonable” that a jury could have watched the same trial everyone else did and let the tot mom skate on all major accounts … where is the Justice for Caylee? Blink will add her analysis and insight as to what occurred.

Pat Brown - Criminal profiler will be discussing the murder trial of Casey Anthony and yesterdays shocking verdict. Pat will provide her expert opinion as to Casey Anthony. The jury found her not guilty, but if not Casey, then who? What will Pat’s reaction be to Casey Anthony skating on all major charges. How did Casey Anthony walk?

Tim Miller – the founder of Texas Eqqusearch (TES) joins Dana to discuss his reaction to the Casey Anthony verdict, was it much different from the wild goose chase and runaround that TES received when conducted the searches for Caylee Anthony.

WG, I agree. I think Jeff Ashton when he said to ignore Caysee Anthony meant don’t ‘feed’ the positive attention she and her family put out and ‘go’ to where the money is that this family is going to try to attach to. As to strength in numbers and people moving together to boycott and stand up to what and where they think the legal system broke down is what we have to do. Already witness the “Caylee’s Law” movement. Activism how our system changes, how laws get passed. That so many are standing up and speaking out tells me we’ve had it on innocent children being slaughtered by their parents and when people don’t connect the dots, our children lose. JMO.

Now that the trial is over I can finally have my say. Shortly after I was picked as a juror along with the 14 others, I was approached by a member of the Baez team. I was offered a payment of $10,000 if I would hold out as a non-guilty verdict and thus, hang the jury. This didn’t need to occur and no payment was ever received. “On The Jury”

    Hello Sat5sz

I think we’re all processing a heavy sense of dispair and grief. How do we process the unthinkable, the senseless and the unreasonable?

This is literally going to be a day by day, baby steps through mourning, grief, anger, denial…..all the elements and emotions associated with death and grieving. I can’t speak for anyone else when I express this….for me, I believe I put my grief on hold for 3 years. I associated healing and moving on with Casey’s conviction and at least, getting LWOP. It also became an obsession for me. I needed to know that Casey was not happy and getting what she deserved.

Live your life! Disconnect from the news, the talking heads…. Focus on the people and the things that bring you joy, comfort, peace. One day at time, my friend. It will get better XO.

Indeed it is extremely scary that the jurors completely overlooked all of the scientific evidence. I just can’t get past this not guilty verdict. What a freaking joke. When will I get over this? I’m amazed at how much this has affected me! I have to know, and I really and truly mean zero disrespect, what is wrong with these jurors? Was there an inside guy? I’m not a paranoid person, but wth?????what trial did they watch?

  7. susan2 says:

Blink, Some of the “monkeys” at Scared Monkeys were wondering how the Jury could have been “tampered” with. In my opinion, if there was any Jury tampering, it happened between the time they were sworn in and the time they actually left for Orlando. If I remember correctly, that slimy investigator that Bozo had was there while the Jury was being picked and I’m sure if there was any tampering, he did it.

I want to be careful about thoughts on whether or not the jury was tampered with.

I believe chloroform was used to sedate Caylee before putting the duct tape on her nose and mouth. This was done at the Anthony home when she circled back after George left for work. Remember – he last saw Casey and Caylee at about 12:50 on the 16th. She had access to the garage and put Caylee’s body in the trunk bagged with those taken from the garage. Then she was off to Tony’s…

  9. redacted guy says:

    Ragdoll,

Look at the first line of your link. “Casey Anthony broke off her engagement from Jesse Grund.” It matters little if Jesse Grund says at some point he instigated a small break up – what happened right after that is that he proposed marriage to her! And it was Casey who eventually broke off this engagement which ended their relationship. And that is undoubtedly because Jesse has a big heart and was acting like a good solid Beta provider and this disgusted Casey because in fact all she wanted was a cocky Alpha cad.

  10. KellyJK says:

@NoJustice I have been out of town but am returning late tonight – but I will write to Simon & Schuster, I’ve already written to ABC, Disney, HLN, Paradigm – the talent agency that signed/unsigned Jose Baez, and plan on writing to the Florida Supreme Court, Belvin Perry, the Florida Bar, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the President of the United States and anyone else I can think of.

An investigation must be done and quite frankly, I think the only way we’re going to get any justice for Caylee will be at the Federal level. I refuse to believe that somewhere out there, there isn’t someone smarter than KC that can’t come up with additional and different charges to charge her with than the state of Florida.

I also think that the jury must be held accountable for their actions and I will keep writing my letters until someone investigates them as well, I want an explanation for this travesty of justice.

I will not purchase one magazine that comes out that has a picture of KC on it or any book that comes from anyone one the Scamthony’s and also plan on boycotting ANY media outlet, publisher,, movie studio, and sponsor that makes a movie, airs a special or is any way associated with CA, GA, LA, KC and any of those lying unethical defense team members. Additionally, I have and will continue twitter until the cows come home, and will sign any petition that will keep anyone from profiting off of this dead baby.

I do have the power to do all these things I just mentioned, and I will – but I am only one person. Each outraged person here should do the same thing – one person will have difficulty affecting change and making a difference – thousands can accomplish this in one fell swoop – we just need a central repository of email addresses, links, etc to make it easy for everyone to access to voice your outrage and get the word out – look how quickly Jose was unceremoniously dumped by Paradigm, and if you all remember, after the public voiced its displeasure, look how quickly the book publisher dumped OJ when he was going to write his book “If I did It”.

Come on people, please stop complaining, the only way we, Caylee’s other family is going to get justice for Caylee is to take matters into our own hands – the pen is mightier than the sword.

I have a link to a picture on my Facebook page it says:
“Caylee’s Warriors: Relax, I’ve got this one.” – God

He will have it up there, but we can have it down here!

Eloise…I’m not new to BOC, while I am “new” to Caylee’s topic, I’ve been following Kyron Horman’s case for over a year on this site. I have been respectful in what I have posted on both sites.

My daughter was pregnant when Caylee was reported missing, we watched the news every nite hoping beyond hope it would have a happy ending, we prayed for God to protect Caylee just like you did I’m sure. While you may feel the Caylee topic on Blink’s forum belongs to a certain group of people, rest assured that Caylee Marie Anthony does not. If I’ve stepped on toes then I apologize.

I’m sorry if you’re “sick of hearing how the Prosecution didn’t present a first degree murder case.” I’m sure the prosecution is sick of hearing it as well, there were a couple of us during the trial that said it wasn’t going to turn out the way everyone hoped it would be and we gave our reasons then as well, so no I’m not somebody who is just heard about Caylee, I’m not a troll and I’m starting to think I made a mistake in coming over here at all.

Having said the above, I have to add this as well…I never, in my wildest dreams, thought she would get off the way she did. I believe she murdered Caylee…I believe Mr Ashton and the prosecution when they say Caylee was a burden and Casey wanted to be rid of her so she could live her “beautiful life”. I’m still in shock over the verdict and I’m pretty sure that I’m not going to get over it any time soon.

Blink I agree that this jury didn’t consider the scientific evidence as they should have; I guess if they could reject the death band on the hair, (mitochondrial DNA testing) then in all honesty any testing of the chloroform meant nothing to them at all.

Been around this old planet a while and I have seen much. It’s been my experience that no one is ever clear of their most egregious acts. What goes around DOES come around. The individual responsible for this baby’s death will never be free. If it is indeed Casey, perhaps growing old and obscure will be her personal hell, sitting in a dark room with no family, friends or attention of any kind.

Frankly I tend to give benefit of the doubt to this jury. Based on what they saw and heard it is quite possible they made the best judgement they could. There were twelve of them…twelve..some basis exists for twelve people to all agree on ANY issue.

It’s also quite possible the cousin in Houston and that branch of the family do know more than we have heard. She states that the real story is pending. According to her and the whole truth according to the clan, justice HAS been done so far. I also got the feeling that eventually someone will pay in a way that makes the public feel better about this mass perception of injustice.

He can’t see the big picture as you can. It helps me to know that God knows why all this happened this way. Now, if we can be patient, one day we will see too. And it is my experience that what goes around, certainly does come back around. You get what you give in this in life. I would guess that what is going to be in Casey’s future, is not going to be pretty.

It is a shame that each and every publisher and media outlet is aiming to fill their coffers off of an exclusive book, article, first interview, etc. The public has caught each one so far and has been able to put enough pressure on the money grubbers to make them back away from MOTY.
Their are probably at least twenty five approaching her as we speak. Someone is going to be able to sneak through and give our favorite ditchpig a fat check. They will make short term profits but the long term economic effects will be severe. The public does not want this.

When they sneak it through some talking head will try to justify it as a “public service” or “trying to provide a better understanding”, or whatever. It will still be profiteering from G and C’s murdered granddollar.

I want to read the books of those involved from the inside. Yuri, Jeff Ashton, Linda Drane Burdick, Blink (Hint Hint). Yeah I know….In your spare time.

I do not want to read the books of anyone who has ever physically touched Casey. Not G or C, Lee, JB, Grubby Mason, Sims, or any of the hundreds of guys that did the nasty with her.

Sadly, it is over. The only thing left is to stop the cash flow to those responsible and complicit. And some people who will read this need to learn to be proud of themselves for their efforts, not ashamed that more was just not possible.

“Started” to look through stuff…Started to??? How about going over everything with a fine tooth comb! Reading between the lines it sounds like, since the “when, where, who, how” was not answered they figured why waste time looking at all the other stuff when nobody told us how Caylee died? So much for deliberation!

Think of this whole thing – from the moment Caylee was reported missing to the time the verdict was announced – as a kind of psychological test. A Thematic Apperception Test (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thematic_Apperception_Test). This is a test where a client is shown a picture and is asked to tell a story about the people in the drawing – what is happening, how did they get there, what are they feeling – a whole story with a beginning, a middle and an end.

Now think of your own ‘story’ about what happened to Caylee. It may (or may not) be close to the truth of what happened – but it will tell you something of YOUR own story, who you are, what you have experienced in this world. It may reveal a wounding (it certainly does in my case), but the story will tell you something of your own heart. Revealing the hurt gives you an opportunity to heal it.

Many of us are heartbroken over this result – shocked, dismayed, angry, disappointed – so remember you are in good company. If you think the verdict was not fair, then do something to increase justice in the world, even if it’s in a small way. The Anthony’s have treated us all like chumps – they have taken our kindnesses, compassion and our empathy, and used it against us to lie, cheat and steal. Don’t let the Anthony’s of this world win. Learn to recognize such people and avoid them – shun them – but keep your heart open.

The world needs open hearts and kind people. Learn what you can. And then you will naturally let go and walk away stronger and better for having lived through it all.

    —————
Hi Liam. I definitely respect what you’re saying. I too had a hard time believing the jury would return a 1st degree murder verdict. But they certainly proved child abuse by the mere fact that ICA failed to notify anyone her child was missing for 31 days!
And I can’t get past the duct tape. Why, if your child accidentally died, would you need to place duct tape on their face? WHY? There’s no rational reason.

    ———————————————————————

I believe Casey Anthony put her daughter in danger somehow and it turned out the worst. I don`t believe she ever intended in killing Caylee, there is no evidence of it.

Panic and grief stricken I believe Casey devised a plan, to make it seem like something completely different had happened, like a kidnapping/murder, trouble is, turns out now the whole world thinks she is a murderer when I genuinely believe she is not.

To leave her daughter`s body where she did is absolutely shocking and cold-hearted, if she was indeed responsible for that.

The verdict has been rendered, it is what it is. Casey Anthony has been given a second chance at life, a chance that maybe she doesn`t deserve and one that Caylee never had. The world is a very big place and I doubt very much you`ll be seeing much of Casey Anthony once she finds the means to disappear.

As for Jose Baez, the man is doing a job. Somebody has to do it, it is ok to hate the message, don`t hate the messenger.

Hey Peggy- thanks for announcing your gig is up. Did I miss your attempt at subtlety? Is that a threat?

Be clear, any person with an ounce of wit has already read the filth spread to form the hate pile, duh.

That is the difference between those that distill BS and those that want to be right.

Bring It. The web is a harsh place. People can say anything behind a monitor.

So can journalists, so can anyone as an opinion. I absolutely filed that complaint, and if you were so inclined to do YOUR research Pegster, you would know that there is a CURRENT Bar complaint against Mr. Baez, and that would be the fourth. Two judges, me, and and as yet undisclosed individual.

I have been dealing with this for a while, hoping to protect my privacy as a citizen, but more importantly, my family, as appropriate. I agree, I was naive, and I look forward to discussing this case as well as others.

Because, after all, those that are ignorant, or harmful, should be allowed the opportunity to be exposed to same.

Say It, but be prepared to have it come back to YOUR house. We have a robust analytics program here that many are of the opinion is not tracking them via AOL or proxy. Lol.

O, btw, I noticed that your were complaining your posts were not posted, which they were-

However, you never responded to my query about how you would like your name, contact info, etc, published in conjunction with your comments, which are clearly defense team “slanted”.

I swear, I try so hard to navigate difference of opinion, and then, ultimately, someone does not like being wrong and lashes out.

I have a tween and teen. Do I really have to deal with similarly here?

When people have dissenting opinions that go nowhere, they lash out at yours truly.

At some point, can anyone feeling same have an original and non-juvinal pursuit?

    B

    Blink,

I’ve been sickened for many weeks now, wondering about comments and discussions made here a long, long time ago, hypothesizing what the crazy story from the defense may be, and how uncanny the opening statements were.

I remember from long ago all the worlds a stage and GA was preparing for his role in a “I thought you were watching Caylee … no I thought you were watching her” BS scenario. Emphasis on the BS.

fwiw, I don’t believe George Anthony ever saw little Caylee on June 16th.

Never did. I do declare he would like to take that back.

    ***********************
I think you might want to go back a few pages- I have NEVER accused you of being a troll or new to BOC. And I remember very distinctly you being on Kyron’s thread. I also remember very distinctly that I ceased posting on Kyron’s thread b/c for me the tone became unproductive.

Blink – I feel really bad having asked the question about the 4th piece of duct tape with possible print; it wasn’t a criticism of your reporting, I was just curious as we heard no more about it in rebut at Trial. Please disregard any and all of the Trolls (great name, describes perfectly the low life endeavouring to undermine your search for justice for Cayle, never heard of it before!) and know that all your faithful followers this past 3 years, love and admire the work you do for so many missing, abused children. I hold you in the highest esteem possible.
Thank you (?nana) for the link to Jeff Ashton interview with Kathi Belich, I actually feel more at peace having listened and watched this truly remarkable man in interview. If I hurt, what must this man along with LDB and FG be feeling!! His advise to ignore Casey makes absolute sense and I would recommend to anyone needing some kind of solace at this time to click on the link and just study the words and demeanour of this man. Blink, I’m not good at ‘heart you’ and all the other expressions you Americans do with such ease but take it from me, I am as one with you all, thank you for allowing me to be part of your fight for Justice for Caylee.

Should have clarified those were my own hypothetical thoughts/comments made a long, long time ago.

Well everyone, like most of you, I can’t handle this verdict. We’ve been told that there’s nothing that can be done to change this, so we should accept it and move on. I still find myself looking for ways to get a new trial LOL, I guess because I cannot believe the jury came to the verdict they did. JMO, but I think that some of the jurors did see that the evidence presented did overcome reasonable doubt. It was 10-2 on murder, so that shows that most of them did not see premeditation was proved. Okay – fine, I can live with that. It was 6-6 on manslaughter on the initial vote. To me, manslaughter was a no brainer. There was obviously stronger wills on the acquit side, as they got their way on that too. Two jurors voted yes on murder one – why didn’t they hold out??? At least for manslaughter. How do you go from voting someone guilty of murder one to acquitting them completely???? I personally would have held out for 2nd degree as my minimum, if I had to compromise, nothing less. Some folks will say that I wasn’t there and I can’t know what the jurors went though. Sorry, but I would have hung that jury. I don’t care if I was away from home for 6 months. I’d have to live with myself for a lot longer than that and voting guilty would be my only option, because the prosecution did prove their case!!! Consider this as well: no-one thought Casey would be acquitted – George, Cindy, Lee, Jose, Cheney, even Casey herself. That’s why they are scrambling to make arrangements for her when she leaves the jail. They knew the evidence was there, but they had the colossal “horseshoe up the butt” and got the soon to be nominated Darwin jury (oh, and they’re a shoe in for first prize!). Casey does not care one lick that she is hated. There are approx. 20% of people out there that think the verdict was correct.I’m guessing that most of them are young horny males that think Casey is hot, and they’d be more than happy to party with her. One other thing while I’m ranting – on to Cindy’s second cousin from Texas talking with the radio station. Sorry Mosaic, I posted that, not realizing you already had – my apologies for that. What makes this cousin say they were given proof on the phone call? How could that be done? Cindy holding a gun to Georgies head, making him state that yes, Caylee drowned and he threw her away like trash??? How can Cindy’s family believe anything she says when she’d lie under oath in court and in front of God??? And to think this “loving grandmother” would not tell the truth to get her daughter (who allegedly had a nervous breakdown over the drowning) out of jail and would instead wait until after the trial to write a book! I will not buy anything the Anthonys, DT or jury is selling, be it books or interviews. I worry that many people will, but if the 80% that disagrees with the verdict does boycott them as well, those parasites will fade into the woodwork fast. It’s a godsend to have this site to read and commiserate with all of you! Most importantly, Blink, you did everything you could – this was an evil twist of fate that no-one could foresee. I look forward to reading your articles when you are ready to publish them. When you say that Caylee will get justice, I know you mean it and it gives me hope.

I’ve been feeling heartbroken, and angry and sick to my stomach over the INJUSTICE.

I’ll never, ever understand the jury’s thinking. If you ask me…Casey’s behavior in the hours and days the followed Caylee’s death are, in itself, enough to put her in prison.

Please, someone explain to me how they could COMPLETELY discount that?

Someone – PLEASE tell me something that can help me make sense of that.

Kathi Belich sat down with Assistant State Attorney Jeff Ashton:

    http://www.wftv.com/video/28498264/index.html

I encourage everyone who has not seen this interview to do so. Jeff looks tired. He is so endearing, and he makes so much sense. Plus, forgive me, he’s very handsome, and has a lot of cute mannerisms. Very likeable. I was surprised at how many times Kathy Belich asked him to get into the minds of jurors when clearly after the first time she asked, he wasn’t going to go there. I’m wondering why we haven’t heard a word out of Linda Drane Burdick.
