Caylee Anthony Gram *Wanna Be* Sees Dead People- Is Donna MacLean A MacLeach?

Posted by BOC Staff | Casey Anthony,Caylee Anthony Case,Diane Dimond,Donna MacLean,John Q Kelly | Wednesday 13 July 2011 7:58 pm

Recently interviewed by Diane Dimond,  a journalist I like very much but who is apparently now lacking a fact checking staff, Donna MacLean claims to believe she is the paternal grandmother of Caylee Anthony.

Nancy Grace featured her on her show as well.   (Insert snark d’jour) Perhaps her fact checkers were unavailable as well and sitting on a jury somewhere… in an undisclosed sequestered paradise.

Apparently MacLean, is not alone, as she claims to have hired famed attorney John Q. Kelly in consideration of a wrongful death suit.

Mr. Kelly, who represented the Goldman and Brown families in a wrongful death action following that particular decades monster on a leash, also dropped by it’s jury, OJ Simpson, won the families over $30Million in a verdict award.

Mr. Kelly is also the attorney for the Holloway family, specifically Beth Holloway, during her recent attempts to see Joran VanderSloot in a Peruvain jail.

His client list reads like a who is who in high profile, including the estates of Kathleen Savio and the family of missing and presumed deceased George Smith.

Admirable endeavors, which begs the question, what is he doing messed up in this soup sandwich?

Donna MacLean claims that her son Michael Duggan, killed in a car crash in October 2007, was Caylee Anthony’s father. Sarah Duggan, Mr. Duggan’s half-sister, died of her injuries sustained shortly thereafter.

It is unclear how she arrived at this conclusion which belies any offer of proof, or geographical possibilities of any kind, and Ms. MacLean left out a very important fact.  Her son’s drivers license was revoked for medical reasons in 2001.  At the time of the crash, Duggan’s last known address was in Connecticut, and in 2006 he lived in North Rutherford, NJ, not Tennesee as his Mother reported.

Donna MacLean

In addition, Wilfred Duggan, Michael’s grandfather, had not seen his grandfather in a number of years, since a non-criminal incident in 1999.

Mr. Duggan refused to comment on how Michael gained access to his Sebring convertible.

A source inside the family wishing to be unidentified, has confirmed that the reasons for the revocation were based on medical reasons that would not allow re-instatement by Mr. Duggan without an approved evaluation.

Repeat 2001.  Caylee was conceived approximately Fall of 2004.

As  such is the case, is it believable Master MacLean was driving through different parts of the country, in the moving business, without so much as a drivers license, which by the way is a requirement of the bonds necessary to work in the industry?

Sadly, Ms. MacLean’s own family has never heard this story previously, and I do believe we have given Ms. MacLeach the latest 15 minutes she has asked for.

The Orange County Court House is going to run out of paper by the day at this rate.  There are enough meritorious lawsuits facing Ms. Anthony as we speak, I recommend one save’s one’s energy for those.

Cindy IMO is the starting point-you can’t fix crazy. I can’t believe they have a shiny new jeep to go with that chain saw or whatever it was. Run Floridians Run!

  21. JR says:

I hope everyone isn’t back to hating on C&G now that the trial is over and they were spared Casey facing death. I don’t think they are completely benefiting from Casey’s acquittal either, in fact it might end up being worse for them.

The bottom line is that they did not choose any of the situation whatsoever and however their dysfunction may have led Casey down that road or caused them to handle things in the wrong way – they have suffered and will continue to suffer in ways most of us could never imagine. The tragic loss of their granddaughter, the sociopathy of their daughter, their drama, their secrets, their every move, comment and emotion have been three years worth of front page news. I have no idea how any of them could have maintained a full-time job, never mind keep it together at all with the pain, stress, questions, court appearances, media and pure harassment this whole time. They are pretty much at the age of retirement and instead of work, they’ve had constant legal needs and obvious costs of their own.

This whole family has obviously been using major antidepressants to get through this all (cause they all look haggard, bloated and like they feel shit) and this has impacted so much of their lives, they don’t have much brightness in their future either. On top of it all, George now has to walk around with a molester? murderer? question mark over his head for the rest of his life, probably having to look over his back all the time with his accuser now free as well.
So if they were able to make some money just for financial peace of mind and treat themselves to a holiday and a few nice material things – I think that’s ok. Especially when the media has made plenty more off their granddaughter’s death and their public pain. I don’t think they should milk it and I don’t think they will. Their love for Caylee was as close as they know to real.

If they want to go out to Home depot one day and try to get back to doing things as normal, then so be it.

Casey, on the other hand, should never make one cent.

Did they love Caylee? Absolutely. Did they conspire with the defense, obstruct the investigation and break the law by lying under oath? Absolutely. Did their doing so win an acquittal for the daughter that killed Caylee? Yes.

Sorry JR, for me, all branches of the same tree that hid Caylee’s remains until the swamp dried up.

Oh yeah, Cindy and the rest of this clan of grifters all think they’re heading to Hollywood/New York and will be raking in the big bucks.
This is there big pay day. (or so they think)

IF … George and Cindy were truly all Greta Garbo with “I just want to be left alone” intents,
They both would have hopped into that brand new red jeep and taken off pronto.
    But noooo, not these a-holes.

George stomping off like a little boy with the guise of getting the license plate number of the photog’s car.
And Cindy … if she really wanted to be left alone (to grieve – HA!!), she would have quickly hopped into the car to hide behind the tinted windows.
Instead, Cindy stands outside the car in the parking lot to make sure she gets more face time with the camera’s.
(as she oh-so-lady-like chews on that damn wad of gum incessantly)

If Baez and crew have any delusions that they’re gonna be able to keep the baby killer out of the limelight – boy are they stupid.
Casey will have a make-over by a stylist – but NOT to change her looks or as a disguise.
She is going to seek out the camera’s – b/c she thinks she famous now.

  43. Leslee S. says:

But Blink, now that an appeal has been filed in her criminal case, she will be able to plead the 5th, right? So, what good would her depo do?

Her lawyer can certify a portion of depo questions for a judge to rule on, and compel her to answer, but if he advises her to plead the 5th, given she was convicted on the lying misdemeanors, and her own lawyer admitted to the lying in open court, I would not be surprised if Morgan asked for a summary judgement, or say, a contempt ruling, until she answers, like say, to hold her OC jail.

The reason this is so fast and furious is because Casey is NOT getting out of this in the suit overall.
