On Quitting Casey: The New C Word Is the New Quality Control

Orlando, FL- I thought my chapped skin was over.

Read, shower, repeat.

Write, ignore call from editor, shower, repeat.

The OCD I developed during the case of the murder of Caylee Anthony by her TotMom, The C word, continues.

Anger over the death of an innocent child is understandable, fierce loathing when the accused is her Mother, is justified.

What is not, is the minutes of our day one devotes to the C word.

Angst is power, nobody will argue that.  What is decidedly MOST powerful, is quitting Casey.

Images of fake checks with non-existant banks and non-existant companies are hitting the web to act as a barometer of the public’s interest and acceptance.

The porn industry rescinded an offer to C word, if that does not say it all, I don’t know what does.  Let’s say they tend to be a less judgemental crowd on occasion.

I am calling you out.  I am calling me out.

Quit caring.  Quit Casey = Cashless Cow

If you want to be a color form in this girls chloroform play set,  I cannot stop you.

What I can tell you, is that these payday wannabees have been Trumped.

Literally.

Between The Donalds’ hair being real and him getting a look up President Obama’s unmentionables bearing a birth certificate on a whim, who do these ilk think are going to give them “equal time”?

IT IS WORKING. REPEAT. IT IS WORKING.  WE ARE WINNING.

Even Rupert Murdoch says “If a single person in my US offices so much as says that *%?#/’s name out loud it will make Rebekah Brooks stay in the big house look like a debutant cotillion, whatever that is.”

Here’s what happened:This is the most notorious and nationally covered case since The O word, and this felon and her counsel can’t get a legitimate network meeting.

Yep. The Moral leprosy crew are singing for supper.  Industry insiders will tell you that the rumor mill has produced a steady call of public outrcy at the mere notion their firms would consider any deals with Cword or her defense team, and the existing artists threatening to walk if they do.

Simply put, it is tantamount to scheduling a tsunami in your lobby.  Not even Don Draper could pull that off.

Ms. Folmer, reached from her latest promotion to washroom hand towel service  had this to say:

Due to my journalistic integrity and because nobody told me we could not cancel a check after a verdict, I was wondering if I could fill a role in Jackass4 or Roller ball 10.   I look forward to meeting the jury members, your among friends.

Late this morning, calls to THE BAEZ LAW FIRM for comment have not been returned.

A woman answering the phone at Jose Baez’s office who declined to be identified,  told Blink,  Editor In Chief of www.blinkoncrime.com:

Good Luck getting a call back, he has been sitting in his office for two days hitting the redial button to the News of The World Offices trying to get a live person on the phone.   He is convinced he can swing a deal with somebody over there. Any Suggestions?

Sure,  I answered, tell him to hit the O button,  and just keep holding, they have a very busy switchboard.

Blink! Count me in to help too for Caylee’s Law!

And I think that the outrage over the verdict and the conduct of the defense attorneys, and the family were just so HELLACIOUS that keeping this a bipartisan – or even – ACROSS THE ENTIRE POLITICAL SPECTRUM – effort should not be difficult. If anything – I think that it is the one area where perhaps everyone can agree!

One thing though, Lippman said that George and Cindy are starting a second foundation to work on passage of Cayle’s Law and I feel very strongly that they should NOT be included here.

One thing I think that we need to take away from the worthless jury that ended up deciding this travesty is that on that 6-to-6 vote about aggravated child abuse (I think it was that count), the jurors “couldn’t decide” who had custody of the Caylee at the time of the alleged “accident”. So this law needs to basically be from the standpoint of: If there is not immediate notification to Law Enforcement – then a pox on both your houses.

I LOVE the idea of the GAL – as if Caylee had had one …. without the money – Baez wouldn’t have stayed on board – nor would the family have made Caylee their “business” and sole means of support.

Let us all know how you want to mobilize Caylee’s Army. This is our only way to let that little cherub know that we WILL get some justice for her …even if after the fact!

One thing I want to caution folks on as it relates to work to passing caylee’s law.

We have to leave the jury condemnations at the door, and we have to focus on the attributes of the bills and how they affect the best interests of the children.

This is not about delivering a different verdict retroactively, that is impossible and if the sentiment of that carries forward, it will harm and not help.

There is never going to be justice for Caylee Anthony. I cannot tell you how heavy my heart is to say that, but how could there be in this situation?

The best we can hope for is to restore the legacy she deserves, and use this tragedy to force positive change.

I cannot tell any official not to include the Anthony’s in sponsorship of Caylee’s Law, but I suspect they are smart enough to know that doing so is going to be the quickest way to kill public support in their district. I do not know what type of foundation was set up, but I can tell you if it is classified as supporting legislation, they would be prohibited from any sort of lobbying activity and their are strict rules in fundraising. They did everything they could to keep Cword out of jail, does anyone think they are really going to back a bill that would have kept her in and be taken seriously.

If they really wish to support it, they should stay as far away from it as possible, as I understand they have already been told.

I can tell you I will never feature them in my work on the issue as advocates for caylee’s law regardless of any support they offer the legislative efforts.

Agreed! The greatest thing we can do for Caylee ist to help pass Caylee’s Law and do so with no connection what-so-ever from this Anthony family.

They wanted no part of providing “JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE” except to obtain a trademark. Now that Cindy & George got their wish and Casey is a free girl, why would they even be a part of a law that would have sent The C-word off to prison for years.

    ***snipped***

……It struck me this morning how many kids might actually be missing or are known missing and nobody knows or knew about it until some extraordinary effort was made.

I used to think that our basic constitutional laws covered pretty much everything – but the number of kids who go “missing” at the hands of their caretakers unnoticed has me convinced otherwise….

    ******************************************************************

    Lily,

I’ve often wondered the same thing. How many children have been murdered/died while in their parents/guardians custody and have never been reported. How many parents, when asked by neighbors “How is little Sally, I haven’t seen her in awhile”, responded by saying “oh, she is living with her Dad/Aunt/Grandparents now”. Or the parents move to a new city with one less child that they had when they left their former city. New neighbors whould have no idea that they would have arrived with one less child and the old neighbors would assume that the entire family moved as a whole.

I am curious if there is some type of data base that exists to cross reference children…a sort of national head count if you will. All children now are issued a social security number at the time of their birth. Is it at all possible to develop a data base that cross referneces the social security numbers issued at birth with the social security numbers submitted at the time a child enters kindergarten? I realize that there would then be a weeding out due to children may have passed from natural causes, others may be home schooled, etc., but in the end, would we not have a general idea of those children whose deaths occurred and were never reported?

Blink, do you think this idea has any merit? Could it be a part of Caylee’s Law?

SS # are not issued at birth. They are applied for following birth and birth certificates.

Furthermore, by law, SS numbers are NOT on file at schools.

There are already reporting requirements in place for deaths, I admit, not for missing children, another issue for another day.
    B

SS numbers are only as good as the database that VERIFIES them. To date,

Out of curiosity I have tried to research if the UK has a law requiring the reporting of missing toddlers. All I have been able to discover to date are recommendations for the length of time you should wait before reporting ‘youngsters’ (under 10). It is presumed you would report within the hour, depending on the circumstances. Teens obviously are given more leeway again depending on the circumstances but probably within 12 hrs. However, I think it must be taken as read that a TODDLER missing for more than a few MINUTES would automatically elicit a panic stricken 999 call to the Police. I am beginning to think that it is perceived as being totally unrealistic that a missing child under the age 5 years could not possibly go unreported. Coincidentally a high ranking police officer (retired)friend, is coming to stay overnight on Tuesday and I will endeavour to get the information from the horses mouth. To my knowledge the UK has never had an incident like the C-word case but maybe we shouldn’t be complaisant, maybe we need our own Caylee’s Law.

Now we are really moving in the right direction. Take the evil act and provide a method to prevent that form of evil from ever again takeing place without major consequences. I believe that when people gather together to combat evil, good will allways benifit society.

We need to be very careful about the language for the GAL. These people need to have several years of experience doing that job. In Texas there curently are some major holes in the qualifications.

We will need to find when all the various legislatures in the States meet and when bills can be registered with the appropriate group to get them in the que.

Texas, for instance does not have a legislative session every year. This was the year of the session and it is over. Sometimes a special session is called in off years, but the proposed legislation would need to be ready to go with appropriate sponsors.

Every state has its civil, criminal and family law divided in some way. Would we try to get this in both the family and criminal law sections? This is going to take some research.

Blink is going to need a lot of help. Some of us who can read and understand law will need to really pitch in to reduce the reading by Blink. And to look at the proposed legislation to see if it will do the job. We will also need to find sponsors for each state legislature.

Most states have web sites that have all the current laws posted.
Some also have a method to track bills through the legislature.

There should be some consideration as to the written intent of each piece of legislation so that it will not be misinterpeted by those who must enforce it. We do not want any perp to escape via a loophole.

Saying his conscience prevented him from continuing, an attorney for the accused murderer of 8-year-old Brooklyn boy Leiby Kletzky has quit the case, a newspaper reported Friday.

Gerard Marrone, who was one of two lawyers defending Levi Aron, told The New York Daily News that he stepped down because of “the horrific way this boy was killed.”

This undated photo provided by the New York City Police Department shows eight-year-old Leiby Kletzky.

“I have three little boys,” Marrone told the paper.

“You can’t look at your kids and then look at yourself in the mirror, knowing that a little boy, who’s close in age to my eldest son, was murdered so brutally,” the Daily News quoted him as saying.

FYI — news operations essentially pay for interviews ALL THE TIME while claiming they don’t. This is common practice. The gist is that what they actually pay for is something else so that they can claim that they never paid for – nor negotiated the price of – an interview. Most commonly payment is technically for the licensing of photos – could simply be a high school pic. BUT the interview is REALLY what they are paying for. And the entire time these news operations are able to claim they are not negotiating price for the interview… so, unfortunately, yes. The stories are true — and NBC and ABC are indeed ACTIVELY negotiating a deal with the slime ball JB.

We here in Central Florida have moved on with our lives. We are on to the next story as you pointed out above. You would not believe how many families with children are homeless here in Central Florida and/or living out of the motels. The school buses stop there in front of the motels to pick them up to carry children to school. There is no affordable housing because the unemployment is so high and if there is a job it is at minimum wage or part time without benefits. The housing foreclosures have taken it toll on families too. That’s why free Breakfast & Lunches in school are important it may be the only food a child gets for the day. Think about it!

THat said, I absolutely believe that.

I don’t know what I can do to help with the process and movement of Caylee’s. I hope that I can be an instrument for Caylee and our precious children however God see’s fit XO.

  42. Esther says:

Wow! Why do you need Caylees Law????? Is it not common sense to report a child missing immediately??????? Why wait 2 days?????? We do not need this law. Anyone that cares about their child will report their child missing immediately. DAH?????

Lol. Yep, that says it all. Except for the part where it is named after the child whose mother never reported her missing or dead.

I guess if we could count on the honor system, we would not need any laws.

    Sigh.

If this woman was arrested for prostitution, it was probably not the first time. The police should have known immediately about the child.

How do we provide protection in a case such as this where an arrest was made, but no LE effort made to find the child? Just leave it up to Child Protective Services. Lucky for the child, the man taking care of him didn’t show any intentions of harm.

The gentleman who offered to stop the Cword with a two million dollar offer is a boxer. He made a lot of money when he was young.

I looked at the State of Alabama today regarding legislative sessions. They can have multiple sessions of fifty days. The last one ended in June.

They do have a Title 26 section in the law that addresses Guardianship. There is even a provision that the local county sheriff can be a guardian in the event that a county guardian does not exist.

The legislature is made up of thirty-five senators and one hundred five represenatives. Each serve a four year term.

There are only three classes of feloneys A, B & C. Class A has the highest level of punishment. If a person who has been convicted of a previous feloney is convicted, the law pushes the current conviction to the next higer level. Thus a C becomes a B and B becomes an A.

There are only three types of misdemeanor with A being a year in jail, B is ninety days, while C is only thirty days.

I also worked a little with Arizona. There are only 15 counties in the state. Three of them are huge. Each larger than Rhode Island and Connecticut.

Alright your post saved my day, lol. We are going to do some good work for this law, y’all.

wow wow wow.. I just re watched Cindy’s testimony. I hold onto my minority view that this family is wackadoodle and that Casey functioned for years, maybe even her whole life by lying to her mom, who must be a poster pin up for worst mom n the world ( Cindy )..

I still think something sad- awful and most likely an accident happened and the only way she could cope was to lie as that was all she had done since CAylee was born….. what kind of monster must cindy be that Casey never could tell her anything that was true if it might upset her..

In all due respect, Annetteaa1, KC never told ANYONE anything that was true.

If anyone has not read the thousands of pages of discovery documents, now might be a good time to start.

The Anthony’s reach out too Rascal Flatts- Probably trying to get their hands on the money form this song, no doubt. I know we are trying to “get away” from them, but do they ever stop?

I’m on two legislative committees in Nebraska and would be happy to do my part to get Caylee’s law introduced here next session. I know just the senator to do it. Where can I get a draft copy of what is currently being compiled?

Susan, good news. Senator Pete Pirsch is the first to introduce this bill in your state when they reconvene in 2012.

Per this article, there are 2 other senators contemplating same.

I am not seeing a copy of it on the judicical site yet, though.

I will research this for your state and get back to you. There are similar components in each proposal but they are tied to current statutes.
