Last evening, 6 Years ago at 10:40 PM, Jennifer Kesse’s cell phone battery was removed.
Experts from the newly formed SMART panel concur it was likely removed by the person or persons responsible for her disappearance.
As chronicled in an expose last week by www.blinkoncrime.com, current leads are pointing to further investigation of Jennifer’s professional associations and colleagues at Central Florida Investments.
On November 15, 2005, Jennifer’s promotion to Manager of Mortgage Process Engineering was announced.

While there is no known indication her responsibilities included corporate real estate acquisition and divestitures, www.blinkoncrime.com’s investigation into her disappearance has uncovered a very notable corporate transaction worthy of a Made-off* award.
Is this the meeting Jennifer missed that prompted the call by a colleague to her Mother Joyce?
The very morning Jennifer disappeared, under the direction of CFI’s CEO- David Siegel- the company sold an undeveloped parcel of commercial land for 4.7million dollars on GrandNational Drive . The financing agreement was finalized on January 24th and the sales contracts were signed two days later.
Joyce , Don & Associates agreed to pay interest-only installments of 10% on the 4.2million balance monthly until the third year anniversary; at which time a balloon payment for the entire remaining amount was due and payable. That is like the zeppelin of balloons in commercial real estate without so much as a plat plan or wetland study.
Who agreed to fund the acquisition for JD&A? Central Florida Investments.
Why CFI would to carry that amount of debt with no “win” on the balance sheet at the start of the decline in home sales leading to lack of funds for time shares, I have no idea. Why CFI would agree to such a proposal without appropriate due diligence is the next head scratcher. As the new process improvement specialist- did this come under Jennifer Kesse’s review?
Joy, Don & Associates was the latest brainchild of Osmond Decoteau, and Donna Rachael Daniels.
The short version: After the dirty duo bought up 2 remaining parcels on International Drive they did not have funds for, Decoteau & Daniels were indicted in 2008 for wire fraud. Both were accused of bilking investors, landowners and residents of over $20million dollars for properties in Brooklyn, California and Florida.
What started out as the slum-lord version of ponzi worked so well the Trinidad native decided to migrate South and rip off wealthier folks in a warmer climate. Makes sense if the villagers are crossing the Brooklyn bridge with torches and you have been unsuccessful in selling it thus far.
Decoteau is currently in Federal prison awaiting an order for the govt to forcibly medicate him to be competent to stand trial.
Bernie Madoff walks past his cell and mutters “underachieving slacker” under his breathe on his way to Canasta in the rec lounge.
Daniels is free on a $500K bond and is believed to be cooperating with prosecutors. An unsuccessful hand-written bankruptcy filing was dismissed. Deconteau set up his family members to buy the property at a loss under the now defunct Ambeeka Holding Corp.
In the end CFI got the property back by default.
Members of Decoteau’s extended family also own a timeshare in Westgate’s Sand Lake Resort; the sale of which was processed during Jennifer’s tenure at CFI.
NOT THE VALET
Just about the same time Jenn’s enrapt co-worker Johnny Campos arrives at the CFI offices in Ocoee, the mystery suspect , the only named suspect in her disappearance to date, is parking her car next to the pool at the Huntington On The Green apartments.
He pulls in, quickly reverses and straightens the wheel, waits about 32 seconds and makes his way past 3 separately angled security cameras making no attempt to hide his appearance.
Theories abound about his attire. Cook, painter, security patrol, bike runner or messenger.
New leads acquired in Jennifer’s case by www.blinkoncrime.com have presented a new possibility.
Is the video a break or a bumper? We are talking cricket-speak.
While it is not known if she was alone or with a friend, Jennifer visited the Cricketers Arms 2 month prior to her disappearance.
Could the man parking Jennifer’s car at noon on January 24th, 2006 be wearing a cricket uniform?
Cricket is a major fave among the younger Euro-set in Orlando as well as the pub named in their honor- The Cricketers Arms. In 2006 “Cricketers” was located on Industrial Drive and recently re-opened on W. Sand Lake Rd, adjacent to the Sand Lake Resorts owned by Westgate.

I actually saw that Playground article when it first came out – only just now putting together that we are talking about the same people. When I first saw the article I couldn’t believe how detached from anything “real” these people seem. The children almost look angry in the photos. SO bizarre imo. This entire cast of characters gets stranger and stranger. How could anyone NOT have pieced some of this together six years ago??? Is there any funny business or speculation of money going between Seigel and LE at any time? Where I am from that is NOT uncommon. Someone can always be bought somewhere. Just seems like there are leads here that were never even followed at all.
With this information, it is fairly apparent to me that Jennifer herself was the primary objective of the perp(s), nothing of great value appears to have missing and her car was discarded. Being young and attractive, evidently abducted, and no outward appearance of domestic/boyfriend trouble, EXTREME probability (very close to 100%) suggests that she was a likely victim of a sexually motivated deviant. The car being voluntarily discarded to me signifies that this was someone NOT immediately close to her, as such a piece of evidence could have easily been used to tie the perp(s) to her disappearance (meaning, they weren’t all that worried that LE would suspect them first or at all, even with direct evidence). If they were close to her, my gut feeling is that the car would have been discarded more vigilantly. The amount of verified, crime specific evidence in this case is troubling, and is no surprise to me that her disappearance has not been solved. The pool of possibilities are endless… unfortunately…
In Jenn’s case, with very little known evidence, the lack of evidence is sometimes the strongest.
Meaning, the reality is, while I do not disagree a stalker/opportinistic sexual deviant cannot be ruled out at this point, I think the scene (s) and her victimology profile being so low risk with the exception of activities recently via a co-worker that I would adjust her risk category to moderate, point to a known offender.
I am not sure what you mean by not discarding her car “more vigilantly”. Not being accusatory, but I think having someone park her car in front of 3 cameras as someone is simultaneously walking into their office is pretty vigilant.

Once again, Blink, you’ve out done yourself! I would have never put the cricket uniform with the original photo. I am surprised that you aren’t on every law enforcement agency’s pay roll. Maybe this should be considered, at least as a consultant. There wouldn’t be near as many cold cases or cases that take years to solve. My hats off to you!
TandT- the idea of the car being washed/detailed definitely makes some sense although it might have only been vaccumed in my opinion.

One issue about the match to the cricket garb: Didn’t the police notice that dark police uniforms appeared white on the surveillance camera? If so, could the POI still be wearing a cricket uniform if the colors are reversed?
That’s a very good point, but to be perfectly honest, the gate is dark, it appeared dark, as did the car, etc, I think it was more they had a concern that they were either pigeonholing the suspect by attire, or believe it or not, generating too many leads for them to run down fast enough ( cook, painter, etc).

The likely chance that the miracle that Jaycee Duggard, Elizabeth Smart, and Shawn Hornback’s families experienced is a .00000000000000000000001% chance of happening in Jenn’s case.
It’s the catch 22- you always hope for the miracle, but in all honestly it is almost as if I hope that whatever hell Jenn went through was quick and was over 6 years ago. That the agonizing time that this case has sat and not really been worked, Jenn has not physically been enduring hell each and every day.
Hoping that the nightmare of the last 6 years ends very very soon and there is answers for Jenn and for her family, friends, and the countless others who have cared.

Just some thoughts:
* plazas have too many witnesses – - both in terms of identifying the “driver/parker” and the speed at which the abandoned vehicle would be found (someone needed more time)
* the possible need of an alibi that consisted of someone else in possession of/parking Jennifer’s car on video at that particular time
* where the car was finally parked lent itself to a controlled, contained environment to be definitely “captured” on video for said possible alibi
* maybe part of the crime did occur in a parking lot within a mall setting and Jennifer’s car was driven away so as not to connect to the scene and any potential evidence left behind at the scene
* the vehicle was already “housed/hidden” somewhere perhaps close by and needed to be “moved” before it was discovered by an associate, friend or even family member of the perpetrator,
and/or
the perpetrator was on a tight schedule and needed to “take care of things” asap
(and, of course, that Jennifer would soon be discovered missing)
* the shorter drive distance the better, so Jennifer’s car would not be spotted/stopped “on the road”

I don’t think it adds up though, why park the car there, specifically? Are you saying that your belief is that someone (the offending party) put someone up to parking the car there, to possibly implicate them? If this “innocent person” not directly responsible for her disappearance was unknowingly put up to the task of moving her car, don’t you think they would have come forward by now?
My belief is it was the actual Perp, directly involved with her disappearance, and parking the car there was not vigilant at all.

I am not entirely sure because of the “movers” ignorance to the situation, a step in it’s final removal was not missed and the car was found prematurely (it was cleaned and parked in one of 7 open visitors slots).
I think we might both agree that regardless, it would be the disorganized portion of the program as opposed to what appeared to be by chance, or imo, because the crime scene has NOT been located yet,
And yes, to your point, I also cannot rule out the car was not placed there upon request to frame someone else. For me, that again is someone thinking that there IS an established connection, he does feel that LE will make a connection to him, and this throws him both an alibis and a “SOD” defense. This is in line with the whole odd and impromptu visit to Adam’s brother’s place and Lake Eleanor facility.
Consider the logistics as well. HOTG is sandwiched between SEVERAL CFI/Westgate owned properties all within walking distance. What are the chances it is on (her car) premises of the one property in that radius that was not owned by Jenn’s employer. This is largely warehouse and day labor employee work environments, all of which have a large component of primarily non-English speaking folks with several on loan from temp agencies.
I think we are assuming a lot that a person who ultimately finds out he was a party to this albeit unwittingly, did nothing wrong intentionally, may not speak English as a first language, and have a questionable immigration status is not going to throw himself in the middle of this.

The timing of J.C. walking through that door at work at approx the same time the car is being parked is quite the coincidence.
It could be looked at like J.C. and partner finished their business with Jenn, then J.C. went to work and the partner parked Jenns car.

If this weren’t a coincidence and was actually syncronized, wouldn’t there be a record of phone communications? Would six years be way too late to examine a few employees telephone records? They might answer even more questions. Also, why can’t OPD run some billboards with photos of Jennifer, her condo, her car, where it was found, the reward, no questions asked…in Spanish. Maybe something would pan out. I don’t know…just like everyone else – hoping this is soon solved. Great work, you guys.

– Blink- there were flyers done in English, Spanish and Creole. There was come forward to a lawyer, media, etc and remain anonymous (sorry if I spelled that wrong). Anyone with a conscious would come forward- especially if they saw her parents day in and day out stand on that corner of John Young Parkway and Conroy/Americana seeking their daughter. Also they did numerous community events, etc.
I just find that the whole non-English speaking and questionable immigration status does not always mean that they won’t come forward. Sadly it appears that is the case for Jenn’s case which is a shame.

UCF- does everyone remember that the video and car parking was WITHHELD for 16 months after Jennifer’s disappearance? I do NOT know who’s call that was, but if I wanted fresh memories and the phone ringing, that is about the worst idea ever.
Immediately thereafter, that person was declared a suspect publicly.

Seriously? Not being glib or picking on you as you know, I just think I have learned in this work people do what you take for granted they would a lot less than we think. Sadly.
Since I have interviewed a few folks that have had INS concerns, or concerns of being falsely accused in a country not their own, or hell, when they were the only connection to a missing person, one has to acquiesse the way this was handled was not “valet friendly”. Just ask Amanda Knox if she had it to do all over again if she would have stayed instead of getting out of dodge with Ms. Kercher’s friends.
I am certainly not giving anyone a pass, but given the totality of the circumstances I think we need to adjust expectation as to whether someone in that position would come forward or not.
It is the collective opinion that Jenn’s car was cleaned inside, yes, that is as specific as I can be.

The car location has to be a key I would think. Hope LE is questioning the patrons and employees of the bar she went to. But I have been wracking my brain cells on what possibly happened that night and there has to a clue somewhere. I don’t mean to sound redundant. I wonder why she left the DVD player in the car? I would be afraid it would get stolen. I also hope the work-orders for the condo complex were checked.

Blink, do you know if Jennifer was the kind of person to keep her table set like that, on a daily basis? Because that seems really odd.
Or did some psycho set it pretending he and Jennifer were a couple having a dinner party? Or am I reading too much into this?
