Kyron Horman Missing Case Breaking News: Remains Believed To Be Human Located Off Sauvie Island
Sauvie Island, Oregon-There are unconfirmed reports that a teenage boy fishing off of Sauvie Island located a human skull, and potentially other human body parts.
Update 1: As referenced on KOIN, a teenage fisherman believes he snagged a scalp with human hair attached, which he originally thought was horse hair. Columbia County detectives cordoned off the scene last evening and MCSO dive teams entered the water but found nothing. The possible “hair” was sent for testing.
Multnomah County Sheriff Office will not comment on the find, or confirm whether their office has facilitated the removal of same, or forwarded any items to the medical examiner for testing.
Following the disappearance of Kyron Horman, Sauvie Island has been the subject of repeated searchers for the missing Skyline second grader with no results.
It is also the former home of a man considered to be Federal fugitive following a confrontation with a Lincoln City officer with nearly fatal results. Officer Steven Dodds was able to return to duty after extensive rehabilitation.
Durham was a Sauvie Island resident for over 6 years and a volunteer fire fighter until he was removed from duty 6 months prior to the shooting.
David Durham’s dog was recovered injured following what appeared to be an accident in the suspects vehicle and is being cared for by a friend of the family. Mr. Durham has not been seen since his vehicle was recovered in the bay town of Waldport, Oregon.

Now with the tip that Burgess Hansen was LS name, it makes sense that parents might post with him. Your LDS theory is interesting. I have run into Hansen’s there, however, Hansen (with even the name combos) is common. Do we know if TY worked Cruz case?

looking at the photo, it seems to me Kaine is not responsible for the central tableau–the choice of the photoshopped picture, pink flamingo, ribbons, etc. The assemblage seems to come from wall pilgrims and devotees.
But he accepts it and visits it.
His pic–to me the most relevant question is who took it? who is this close to him?
I don’t think he’d broken a sweat yet on that gym visit.
His arm reminds me of my very young adult son’s — who now works out originally every other day, now daily. I shudder that his heart muscle may look like the arm. After a lifetime of LD bullying as a slight boy, his new physique is an integral part of his self-identity and sense of security. In his case it is not mainly marcissism. Whatever his psychological basis, imo Kaine is merely saying “This is who I am and what I do.”

At :28 and 1:12 you will see the poster of Kyron with both arms. At the end (1:30) is a shot of the poster with both arms, affixed to the tree and possibly the bench KH is sitting on in his FB pic. There is writing on this poster and since it’s outside I would guess they exchange it with an identical one from time to time.

Was the arm photo shopped out, or photo shopped in. That is the question. If the arm was photo shopped out, what was in front of his arm in that picture that we were not supposed to see, or was irrelevant. Sometimes I think that Kiara was originally in the picture, as she would have stood about that height in front of Kyron’s arm. It would have been distracting to use her image in a missing child photo. What is odd, is why not just focus in on a close up head shot and eliminate his arms altogether. Maybe LE wanted that picture in those clothes, as that was what he was last seen wearing. The picture on the wall could have been cropped, so to photo shop the arm in doesn’t make much sense, but then does anything about this make sense?
The blow-ups of Kyron were used at/for the new location public event.
He was close-cropped out of the original photo because a white background was desired for people to write messages on.
Bumble is right. Kyron’s left arm was computer-duplicated, flopped and put into position as a right arm (in the original photo Kyron had his right arm behind his back).

Blink, it is the 9th, my bad. Same day as my dear Grandma, if he is up there I have asked her to hug him. That sounds silly but it gives me some comfort.
The picture of Kaine from FB just makes me think about what he has gone through and how hard each day must be. Love and prayers for all that love Kyron.

On Facebook you can adjust your settings so that you do not appear in people’s “Friends List”. Perhaps this is what Kaine has done.
We discussed the sudden appearance of an arm in that picture here long ago. I don’t recall who, but someone with a lot more digital camera knowledge than I, said they were sure the new arm was a mirror image, added after the fact. How they could tell that, IDK. However, Blink has told us that the original image on TH’s FB was indeed photo-shopped, and IIRC, none of us ever could figure out what exactly was or missing or added.
That new picture of Kaine on Facebook is interesting isn’t it? It does look like he’s attempting to send some sort of threatening or intimidating message.
When I clicked on who liked the picture, we finally get to see some of Kaine’s acquaintances. What I found particularly interesting was a woman, Ronda Williams Hall, who has been volunteering on BKH and has been seen several times in photos by KH’s side, has one of her interests as this:

Well, thanks. That makes more sense. I know I’ve linked to the Multnomah County Court rules here a number of times. An abatement can be requested for any case handled by the court (not necessarily granted) and is for 2 years – however, it can stretch out longer than that in reality because of scheduling and motions re this and that. I don’t believe this abatement can be extended beyond 2 years – maybe not at all, but at least not without a new hearing and a new argument made for it resulting in some sort of court ruling for an exception, which I am not sure is allowed.
In the “muscle picture”, Kaine’s face, to me, looks a bit sad, yet not giving in to the sadness. I don’t see anger even with the frown – his lips and jaws are too relaxed. But that’s just based on my experiences with angry men. Other opinions are just as valid. I wonder what people who know him really well would see in his face.

Exactly what I thought. Why photoshop it back in when there has been discussion about it. If it was photoshoped out why? Or does Kaine think that TH photoshoped it out and he is showing that he knows by putting an arm back in. I think there has to be be many meanings Kaine is trying to show in that picture.

@erose – It looks like basically the same photo Terri took which has been used many times. It has always looked as though the science exhibit was intact behind him so if the arm was photo shopped out, it would have been before putting him together with the background photo. If Kiara was in the original picture and then removed before posting to Terri’s FB, there would be no arm to show, of course, but the exhibit wouldn’t be there either, so it would have to be 2 or more pictures put together, wouldn’t it?
ANOTHER QUESTION – if you look at the 2 pictures side by side, everything matches up EXCEPT the arm AND THE SLEEVES. The sleeves in Kaine’s picture are the mirror image of each other, as are the arms, giving him almost a soldier look with arms straight and at the sides. The sleeves in the Terri photo, as shown on the missing person poster, do not match. His right sleeve goes out to a point, but the left sleeve does not. What this means, I don’t know. I’ve done regular darkroom photography, but not photo shop except some easy editing.

@MBS, I’ll speculate even further…That photo of Kyron in front of his project, seems just like the picture of Kyron’s project with no one in it. I think his picture was photo shopped on the project photo. I’m not sure that he was really wearing those clothes, though I think how irresponsible to report otherwise. He was wearing those clothes at the zoo just days before, as pictures have shown.
If I wanted true witness accounts from the SF, and I knew he was wearing otherwise, I would listen to the people who said they saw him, though not in a CSI shirt. I just can’t believe LE would do that, but I can’t believe they are involved in promotion of a divorce either. Then there is the possibility that was his favorite outfit and he wore it both days.
Those pictures could have been taken the day before, as the date of the board reflects. TH could have delivered the project (and we were told KH was there) and then taken a picture of the project alone. A zoo picture could have been photo shopped with the June 3rd picture. I would venture to guess any pictures from TH’s camera are evidence and maybe not up for scrutiny. It was said at least once that this was one of the last known photos of Kyron. All just my constant relentless speculation.
Do we have a verified date of the zoo visit?

I notice that this video was from 2011. It does have the same picture of Kyron with both arms. Plus, now that Rose points out to us that the ribbon is for MADD and that the pick flamingo was probably part of many trinkets people have left at the wall, I’m thinking that Kaine’s FB photo might not have been trying to send a message. I continue to think it’s a powerful picture though. Gosh, do we all want a sign of some sort!!!

The bowling outing with Kyron’s friend took place Sunday, May 31.
fwiw, I recall watching a video of the mother of the friend saying she thought they were going to the zoo but ended up going bowling instead.
Think this was the same video that she said she trusted the H family and that her son just adored KH. Could have been a KATU video.

The photos of the zoo visit, with all the family, including Kaine, where Kyron is wearing the CSI shirt, were posted to Terri’s FB album May 2/3 2010. Don’t know when they were actually at the zoo. Kyron’s hair appears to quite a bit longer in the zoo photos than the photos taken at the school.
Interestingly, there are zoo pictures from the same date one year prior. I don’t see Kaine with them there though. Wonder if the first weekend in May was an annual zoo trip.

Above is an article about TH showing the picture to AL sometime between 9:30 and 10:00AM the morning of the SF. She is verifying TH’s whereabouts at 9:30 as well as Baby Kiara is sick and Baby Kiara was with TH. She also is verifying the “now well known picture” existed at that time, 9:30 to 10:00AM. @Erose we have no way of knowing what the picture really was if there was a picture at all. If AL is on the up and up then I would have to assume some picture was shown to her but TH did make a point then of showing it to her, while cradling a sick baby HMMMMM. All very convenient. Timeline established, sick child established, science fair picture established, it makes me wonder.
