Nittany Nightmare Continues Past Sandusky: Former President Spanier Charged- NEW Charges for Curley and Schultz Filed

Happy Valley- PA On the heels of convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky’s transfer to his new home,  what most predicted would follow- has.

Former Penn State President Graham Spanier,  fired by the Penn State Board of Trust the same day as legendary late-Nittany Lions Coach Joe Paterno, is facing serious charges today filed by Sandusky’s prosecutors.

Spanier is facing counts of obstruction of justice,  perjury, conspiracy, endangering the welfare of children and failure to report allegations of child abuse.

Tim Curley and Gary Schultz,  who were facing perjury and charges based on “non-reporting”,  are now facing all five similar charges as Spanier-  additional filings occurred simultaneously.

Linda L. Kelly stated the men “used their positions to conceal and cover up for years the activities of a known child predator,” on Thursday following the announcement.

@erose. wise insight “Anne Riley was Mr. Penn State Football’s daughter (Ridge, and there is even an award named after him that one of Sandusky’s son’s won) and she thought of Lee as her boyfriend. It’s like the delusion of Dottie being Jerry’s wife.”
Chris had 3 daughters. Where’d his wife go while he was palling around post-divorce with Riley? I thought she stayed in Boalsburg. Sometimes steady “girlfriends” are beards for custody & visitation leverage. I’m thinking of a certain Pacific NW’s father’s successful gambit in that regard, you know the example.

Although entered in Centre County Court, an order signed by Judge Pamela A. Ruest and dated Jan. 23 disqualified any Centre County judges from hearing anything regarding Parks Miller and assigned the matter to Clinton County President Judge Craig P. Miller.

I was just shaking my head that on this Monday J Ruest assigned “the investigation” to Jdge Craig Miller (Clinton bench chief), yet he is a Lock Haven man (imo relevant), when I read above a Clinton judge signed that search warrant last week. One guess who?

Right now I think the Senior CC Criminal Judge Lunsford was disabled by
co-conspirators & cronies as part of a 1 – 2 KO to ensure Miller is disabled, & the FBI and

BoComm & associates (Glantz) & their business dealings dating to 90s.
    Masorti/Cantorna/McGraw/Shutt

In Clinton, it’s J Williamson whonis supposed to get the conflicts cases from neighboring counties. But it is the State Court system that is supposed to make conflicts assignments. End run by Ruest here in the absence of Lunsford’s wise counsel?

“Williamson will continue his duties as a judge for the county, and will maintain many of his responsibilities until the second county judge is chosen by citizens in an election. After that, he will accept special assignments offered by the state court system in situations stemming from conflicts of interest in this or other counties, or to cover for other judges who fall ill or are for some reason unable to assume their duties.”

obviously if he’s a squealer, he had to go to a different prison from all his associates.
I bet the OAG’s silence implicates there’s more of this group in the process of being investigated & rolled up.
It is unfortunate this BoComm’s public spazz-out episode outs Albro as an informant rather than letting
    State Police & OAG handle.

  20. Rose says:

I note it is also described as a cocaine ring in Centre County.
I wonder when the coke consumer-purchasers will be picked up.
Since Bellefonte PD has all Miller’s electronics, I expect they know all the

  21. Rose says:

Ryan Richard was initially jailed for terrorist threats to a male in Dec 2012.

    http://extras.altoonamirror.com/Crimes/Documents/roc_20130410222516.pdf

Doesn’t look to me like Miller needed Albro’s testimony for anything related to Richard.
For the April charge, she had the prison phone use & female’s report.
Imo this cover story for the Judge’s order given to Shutt
was a beard for Albro’s real cooperation, and his value
would be naming further participants in the coke & heroin ring the State police (Sassano) were
working on. I can’t imagine among the town executive & judicial branches, and local Bar,
there was not one single ring patron.

  22. Rose says:

I don’t get how the CDT says Richards & Albro were months apart, not that I can access the article to read it,
    just the headline.
Richards came into jail on terrorist threat 1 in Dec ’12,
and Albro was arrested in March 14, ’13 before Richard’s second charge April 4, ’13, which was independently obtained. These reporters are investigating as though Shutt’ story is credible & accurate.

  23. Rose says:

It seems to me what Miller & Sassano & State Police were working on when that bail order was drafted was the second phase of investigation resulting in another round of drug ring arrests which the article on the Feb 14 arrests above notes. And if it got out anywhere Albro cooperated, ie via Shutt (say to McGraw to Cantorna to Masorti and so on, that Albro was cooperating in a drug investigation, even changing orisons would not save him. So imo the Richards story was a plant for Shutt. Good thing too. Perhaps there were info plants to test her, resulting in her departure. Or why would she need a criminal defense attorney?

  24. Rose says:

    http://www.statecollege.com/mobile/news/centre-county-gazette/cbicc-holds-centre-county-judges-forum,1389369/
In fact Miller says she’s been critical of the BoComms doing Prison Board business without running it thru the full Board, which apparently Ruest has had no objection to. Therefore in that contentious issue, Miller has indirectly publically criticized Ruest.

Who’s kid is the subject of Miller’s investigation of them- that is a central issue, imo.

  28. Rose says:

One sees why Miller needed the April 2013 fresh phone call from prison terrorist & harrassment

leaving only the misdemeanor of terrorist threat, due to varying statutes of limitations.
And after the trial court’s order & opinion on 6/13/13, likely Miller needed Richards or his ilk too.

Rugby cronies Cantorna & Abom notwithstanding, this investigation imo will be managed not by Abom but by Kukulakis, Excharcho’s fellow Greek & Rep Pth pal, and mark my words, this diffuse contract “to investigate” is aimed not at Miller but directly at Kane. The transaction complained of was undertaken in a co-OAG drug case imo in partnership with OAG & State Police, and Mr Gaming Kukulakis will march right down that path to Kane. Right niw I’m wondering who asked Miller as a favor to give Shutt her first office job?

  39. J. J. in Phila (the real one) says:

    Two points.

    1. From the warrant, it looks there was an effort to protect an informant, and that was the reason for the bogus order. It may have been coordinated with PA AG’s Office and the PSP.

    2. I’ll make a bit of news. While it was not publicized, Rickard had been removed as lead investigator in the Gricar case prior to the decision to send the case to the PSP (11/13). In part, the hesitant answer from Rickard about the “mine shaft story” was due him not being in charge.

  40. Rose says:

US Atty (NY) L Lynn made it clear DOJ works closely with local DAs. I presume seizure of all
Miller’s modes of communicatikn & phone means someone about to bring this conspiracy togetger knew that too.
Right now I don’t think tge act of forging is the chief question. One question is how does gaming comm-famiky lawyers-BoComm-BellefontePD-a group of fringe criminal defense attorneys-former DA employees let go for drugs & sex (did you see the Mock trial HS girls Marshall accosted in a hitel room story?)-fring County construction/bldrs intersect?

  41. Rose says:

I’m going to guess while Gricar was parked with what he thot was his CI, a car pulled up beside, men trained guns on him, & the rest was a mere journey to drive him to the execution & disposal site. His concern was likely linked to drug investigation (not necessarily Lee’s) or official corruption (? on the take). Coukd’ve been Court, PD, or BoComm related. Who did he share with if anyone? Not Patty. Maybe Steve? What Judge was it he drifted off distracted before?

  42. Rose says:

Imo Ruest signed that Order sending this matter to Clinton’s Miller
because Bellefonte PD, aka Chief Shawn Weaver, took the search warrant to her.
It is unimagineable a Judge would approve a warrant that
rests in part on her own police interview. Or that she coukd pick the receiving County & Judge.
Miller (or “a Clinton Cty judge”) approved the warrant.

I’d like to know Weaver’s hiring date and who served on the BoComm at that time?

  47. Rose says:

Imo a lot of attention was diverted to the runaway theory by making a lot of the hard drive wipe searches. That’s something many of us use when getting new equipment.
