Kyron Horman Missing: New Years Eve Settlement Ends Horman Marriage
Portland, OR- In a surprise court hearing, Judge Henry Kantor signed off on the agreement between Kaine Horman and Terri Moulton Horman to end their marriage this afternoon.
Details of the agreement have not been released publicly, but according to KGW, a financial settlement to include child support and a lump payment to Terri Horman has been reached.
In what can only be described as a bitter family court feud- the divorce matter was last in court on December 16th to decide if the Horman landscaper, Rodolfo Sanchez Estrada -who alleges Terri Horman tried to hire him to murder Kaine Horman at a lunch meeting – would testify.
Judge Kantor has not yet filed an order from that hearing but Attorneys for Terri Horman were granted a continuance from the pending temporary custody motion scheduled for December 19th and 20th.

My Blink Jr sustained a crushing injury to his hand this am in the pre-class practice weight room. Had surgery this afternoon and is in great pain. Thus my spottyness today. As a Mother- that 6’1 16 yr old that can bench me twice is just as little as Kyron was. Makes no difference to my heart when he is injured. I will still sleep on the floor in his room when he doesn’t know cause I am scared to death he will aspirate in his sleep from the meds, or maybe flying monkeys will come get him because today he is less than Hercules to fight them off. That’s how it is as all of you Moms know. Child compromised= high alert.
I was praying for him to be ok, recover, and I was praying thank you that at least my child is 3 ft away. As angry as I am at the farce of coverage of this case in Portland right now- and it is a farce, ( note- no National coverage is going to regurgitate) I would like to take a minute for those of us NOT in this situation to give thanks, and as AS says, to pray for the wee man who is. Kyron Richard Horman.

I actually don’t like discussing this, because it should never have been made public in the first place. We need to leave this child alone. Her brother is missing and her mother is missing and that is bad enough. But I’m not sure it would be BB making the decision here, so I just wanted to post the above.

So what is it that LE, KH, DY & TY think happened? Do they think maybe TMH was maybe successful in finding someone to do a hit on her husband….but she got cold feet and called it off? Maybe this resulted in her being blackmailed and she failed to make those payments so the hitman stole her step-son? Or that she offered him up as payment? What exactly is it they think transpired?
I don’t know what they think, but I still see no one talking about motive. They say they “know” she’s involved, for what motive? They say they know she had “help”, but it’s not Dede, according to KH, it’s someone they don’t even know. What was this accomplice’s motive?

As I thought, Kaine Horman is still not saying that LE informed him that TMH was failing questions on the LDT. That information came from her, Terri.
I might feel differently about this case if LE actually publicly said Terri failed or was evasive in regard to certain questions, if they were in regard to Kyron that mornnig. But since LE has publicly stated no such thing, I can’t wrap my ahead around Terri’s own venting proving her guilt. How can they?
It’s been 5 years, I hope I’m remembering correctly, LE has never publicly stated that TMH failed a LDT have they? Since I don’t follow that many other cases, would it be normal to do so, if a suspect had? Would LE make that public?
All I ever needed to see in that regard was the Bobbi Odonnell “impressions.” Translation- if we ever get sued for using false information to progress a case it falls under immunity and is not negligence- furthermore- as the DA he did that chit on his own and was not in scope of duty.” Both still have a job, family intact, pretty much unscathed- neither are speaking. Fleet week this year has navy, coast guard & 4 rcmp ships. there are only 12. That’s not so very many for ncis (does it exist apart from tv?) & rcmp to check out. One of this year’s ships once housed a disorganized (now convicted) murderer. Surely proclvities were known in Pacific ports if any pedophiles were aboard. Kaine does seem to be rusty at live camera interviews. For example he said public & private searches have found no evidence forensically linked to the case just after Desiree said she had found evidence.
He needs another fix-it interview before Desiree’s speech tonight.

My opinion: The only evidence Kaine cites is Terri’s statements she failed polys.
That’s ridiculous. Anyone who sells that to the public as the evidence is a con artist imo.

However, I think he truly believes himself; it’s ego syntonic.
Oh? was this engineer trying to discuss empirical data? I can help with that- in studies involving confirmed results- in a perfect examination setting involving “truth in- truth out” they are 1/3 accurate. She WAS TOLD she failed- a common LE tactic and simple to disprove except he will only discuss what she said, although he claims he is aware of what LE told him. 2. What I don’t have, is an actual study of folks who were told failed, but actually did not show detection, and of course a peer review of those cases. It is my belief that if she did fail a portion of the poly it could have been directly related to Kaine’s steroid use. We have no one stating that as a fact Kaine passed all of his poly’s. Her first demonstration of knowledge of steroid use that has publicly been stated was the delivery of related paraphernalia and perhaps a paper trail in the forms of checks to her attorney. She more than likely protected Kaine in not talking about this until he took her daughter away from her. It could be possible that when she declared she had failed a portion of the poly it was for Kaine’s benefit, letting him know that she was keeping his secret. Out there I know but it has weighed on my mind that this could explain the failed poly.
I think that is a great thought- and as I posted earlier- I think we are taking a lot for granted as to what Kaine “passed” – don’t we also only have his version? How is that different than what he and DY are espousing? Where is their “proof”?

The fact that 5 years later I am now working with actual profile experience and creds as opposed to research or empirical data and source info (inv reporter really)the only thing that has changed is that I can’t profile a single unsolved incident/abduction including an unknown suspect.
Thing is- 5 years later and close to $4M spent- neither can any LEA in this case. But they did, and man did they get that wrong.
I will say that to date, the only thing that I have stated as fact that I can correct is that TH had a stroller at the school that day. She did not.
I have some confirmed intel that I do not have permission to release to date. It is based on asking questions of sources that these idiots cannot be bothered to – or have been precluded from. Maybe same will grease the wheel.

You are saying you have learned with an unknown suspect it takes more than one incident or abduction to be able to draft a working profile?
I like the idea this guy’s others may be in foreign countries he travels to, particularly rural impoverished areas. Imo
Corporate employees of Nike or Columbia or Intel for example likely travel to factories far afield.
I am saying that with the education, training and experience I have- it is inappropriate to produce an analyst profile on any one incident with an unkown suspect with zero physical evidence, crime scene, or victim recovery. That is not the full monty of why it is not protocol, but the majors.
That said Rose- my overall opinion on SZ stands unchallenged. Unconfirmed, unchallenged by both parents. I have been hoping forever that one of the cauldron cook outs would have the juxtpa to call me out- correct me, find someone “official” to refute my work.

Blink, so sorry about your son’s injury, but glad that you and his Dad could be there, and glad that he got the required surgery. Further treatment and/or therapy may be necessary, but I’m sure you’ve got that, too!
And I can tell you that Grandmothers and Great Grandmothers feel the same way about wanting to protect the children! But have them bring you a roll-a-way bed or comfortable chair . . . you need more rest than you get on the floor!

She went to Canada much earlier than her story about her kidneys in order to live with a man she met. She is on record of receiving a traffic ticket in Vancouver the year before. She had her custody papers for Kyron changed so that she could pick up Kyron from Kaine’s parents house in Seattle and then return him there after spending the night in Canada. This all happened before she “lost her kidneys.”
Go read the court documents in the Washington county court house.
When her roommate kicked her out of his house in Canada she went down to Medford where she concocted her perfect story. She wasn’t broke. She still owned her condo back in Beaverton.
It’s all in public records. Do your homework. It’s right there in full view for anyone who wants to read about it.
There are some misrepresentations in that statement. What I am willing to say is that she moved with a man. Kaine, Kyron and Terri met him.

Praying for them all. When I watched a relative go through a horrible custody battle, I began to pray for the “enemy” spouse. I understood through that experience what it meant to pray for your enemies. You never know how hearts can be turned, softened, changed or awakened.
I don’t pretend to know what is what here, only how it appears to me. The first step towards resolution is finding common ground. I am hopeful that KH is inching towards accepting another perp besides TH did this, even though he believes him to be an accomplice. It is the very progression my mind took, though it was years ago for me, and I am not emotionally invested in comparison so I need to understand as frustrating as it is. 5 years later, who know it would be KH giving me some hope.

Blink, so sorry about your day and your sons injury. You are right, as the mother of a year round athlete I hold my breath when he takes a hit or walks a little too slow off the field. We are blessed to still have our boys to worry over.

You would think with Rees there ( granted she said it in an individual interview) she could just ask him if the flat out accusation she just made against DDS was supported. So there you have it- DY says in her speech there is only one person responsible for what happened to Kyron, but then directly accuses TH, DDS, and “Potentially one other person.”
