Kyron Horman Missing: New Years Eve Settlement Ends Horman Marriage
Portland, OR- In a surprise court hearing, Judge Henry Kantor signed off on the agreement between Kaine Horman and Terri Moulton Horman to end their marriage this afternoon.
Details of the agreement have not been released publicly, but according to KGW, a financial settlement to include child support and a lump payment to Terri Horman has been reached.
In what can only be described as a bitter family court feud- the divorce matter was last in court on December 16th to decide if the Horman landscaper, Rodolfo Sanchez Estrada -who alleges Terri Horman tried to hire him to murder Kaine Horman at a lunch meeting – would testify.
Judge Kantor has not yet filed an order from that hearing but Attorneys for Terri Horman were granted a continuance from the pending temporary custody motion scheduled for December 19th and 20th.

IMO, Kaine wasn’t bragging Terri had not seen her daughter, he was setting the record straight as there were people stating as fact that Terri has had contact with Kiara. Now we know that is not true. It also supports the theory that Terri will not talk even if it means she will not be able to see her child.
It is likely Kaine said Terri is responsible but it was cut from the video portion of the report, which was ridiculous editing if true.
AS- ( your gray again, lol, no idea) Those are both Kyle’s words. I have read the article and listened to the report 4x to be sure.
It is possible he said that off camera- but as you point out, he never says either of those things himself- in terms of TH being involved or no contact on camera. Upthread Rose posted the link to the stipulation- there was a variety of milestones required by the court and then through the parent coordinators. Based on that, I do not believe that in context she is not participating in the parts she needs to as she testified in open court.

It didn’t seem like bragging to me, it seemed like he was simply stating a fact for the record so commenters and those following the case would know the truth and not believe people who post statements as if they are fact when they are actually opinion or simply a lie. Several folks posting on the news sites have repeatedly stated Terri has been seeing Kiara, now we all know that is not true.
Also, it is Terri’s responsibility to do as the court has requested in order to see her child. Many people at the time the court order came down believed she would not follow through. It looks like they were right.
I am hard pressed to believe Kyron should stay with whomever kidnapped him as you suggest, assuming he is still alive, rather than be returned to his family.

It’s more than that Blink. More than these Writer’s & their Corporate employer’s BIZ.
In this case, uniquely, both parents are part of the Biz, using PR and manipulating facts to take in money,
and to have a public imag. And don’t tell me it’s for Kyron, because they are NOT doing anytthing to advance the investigation. I don’t follow these stories like Anthony, or Arias until her trial, so don’t know any facts or history of the parties. But isn’t there some BIZ analogy to the Anthony infant’s grandparents here?

How can any one say that Dy and KY are doing nothing to advance this investigation – they may be failing but they are still trying- they have worked diligently to bring Ky home in the very same ways as countless other Parents have done
DY and Ky were part of the Dr Phil show- TH was invited but declined can we be sure it was for moral reasons over money and not just because of any moral ground but because her lawyer said no
After watching the show it is entirely possible those monies were Secondary to getting Kys story out there-
KIM at that time Kaine was supporting KI without the aid of Ths support payments so any extra monies were probably welcomed-
Other motivations were in play I have no doubt DYs secondary reason seemed to be to point the finger at Terri WHICH remember Dr Phil guest squarly said No evidence he saw points to her…. so that motivation to me failed…
I dont think the D Phil show is the best out there but these parents arent the only ones to agree or seek out this type of venue inorder to try and help their lost child- Nor are they the only parents of missing and murdered children who set up foundations or ask for contributions to help. Are all of them part of the biz? No and none that I know have ever declined money to appear on any show.
The BIG difference between CA and CAs parents and Dy and KY is that they knew what happened to their granddaughter and by whose hands-no matter if you believe 1.0 story or 3.0 story

I agree that we don’t know how many steps TH has been allowed to make towards the gate. Perhaps she is still only allowed to write cards and send gifts to k. If someone wanted to protract the process, I’m sure they could.

There is one person and one only who decides if any letter, note, or picture Terr provides will ever reach kiara, Billie Bell. Obviously Bell has decided no letter or picture will be shown kiara. That is unsurprising. Her opinions sources are the child therapist Kaine chose (if she sees one) and Kaine. Kaine is relied on to report kiara’s state of mind & readiness to receive any info about mother. The only way out if this is for Bell to cease working.
The url I just posted has plenty of comments reflecting consumers’ opinions that Bell is often highly prebiased, unstable, unprofessional, and more. Moreover, commenters say there and elsewhere Bell asks irrelevant, provocative, sexual, and personal questions unrelated to custody and visitation. I’d be pretty sure she’d ask irrelevant inappropriate questions of Terri relating to the “crimes” that Terri must refuse to answer, and there the ballgame goes.

in fact I question whether or not No contact means ALL contact or just physical as it was my understanding that written communication could begin immediately then to be followed if Ki was open- and if MH professional still found it to be in Ki best interests as well as IF Terri held to the other stipulations such as child support etc moving forward…. IOW Im not sure the whole story is being covered in that snippet.
As for Terri not being tried or convicted – I agree it sucks if she is in fact innocent of all—but surely you understanding that she could be guilty…might understand KHormans being relieved that there has been no contact since he does seem to believe she is involved in harming or working in concert with someone who disappeared or harmed his son

I was posting on Olive earlier and then later in the day it was just refusing my post. As odd as it sounds, I would type it out and then it would disappear. I tried 3 times.
Wow, I can’t find that broadcasted interview anywhere online. Sorry, but I was in the middle of cooking dinner. I know I quoted the man correctly. As I was briefly saying, he went on to say that when one fails 2 or 3 LDT’s something is terribly wrong, or some such. (I hope that’s not his basis for “knowing” his latest ex-wife is involved, but I got the feeling that is exactly where he was coming from.) Surely Kaine Horman knows, after all this time, that LE lies, and is perfectly legal in doing so. Surely he’s not basing his opinion, or should I say his “knowing”, as in knowledge, upon TMH venting about what LE told HER. And there he is using that word “WE” again. Who is WE? He and DY? HE and DY & TY? He and MCSO? He and just whom know TMH is involved? Would be nice if he elaborated.
He also mentioned the failure of questions was regarding her knowledge of where Kyron was AFTER she left him, as did DY earlier on. Bizarre. I will keep looking, but it seems to have disappeared, much like our little guy.

So getting back to alleged email sent to Porter by TMH excusing Kyron from school for a doctor appointment.
Firstly, DY has never mentioned this before, nor KH. In fact, in the beginning it was never answered when they were asked whether or Kyron had a medical appointment. How simple it would and should have been to say, yes he did, but it was for the following Friday. So this makes me wonder, if in fact there is even such record of said email, and it was not on one of the computer files erased by the school, what did the email say?
If TMH sent it say Thursday evening, and it was received by Porter on Friday morning and it said something such as:
Just to let you know, Kyron will not be in school Friday because he has a medical appointment.
Well yes, that’s pretty vague, and TMH being a teacher herself, I think she would know that it was. However if she had inserted the word *next* before Friday, then that throws the ball into another court.
If she sent that email on Thursday, and it said “next Friday”, I myself would think she meant the 11th…..my husband on the other hand, would think it was the next day. (We’ve gone round and round on this sort of terminology, LOL) In any case if she failed to mention the exact date, June 11, or whatever, then I can certainly see how Porter would have easily made the mistake of *thinking Kyron was at the doctor*, particularly if she reviewed the email AFTER, she was thinking he was in the potty.
Now, all that being said, does that mean TMH was being lax or coy (IF this is what happened), no it does not. It simply *could* mean she wasn’t as specific as she should have been.
Up until now, I always thought this was actually some sort of absentee form used by the school that exchanged hands on June 3 between Porter & TMH, but if it was an email, I can see how this might happen. Confusion I mean, and that’s why I asked if it was common for a parent to send an email as an excused absence doc.
I know I would have put a date, but that’s just me and the way I do things. I was going to say that if the school purged it, then it’s gone. But….thinking back to my last computer crash…..most emails are stored either on your computer in some hidden file, or on the server and the contents of which can usually be recovered. (Just ask Kitz or Hilary.)

Mom3.0 just to clarify, whenever there is a stranger abduction of a child and the immediate caregivers/parents are in the process of being cleared, LE and “they” do NOT mingle. They do not stay walled up. It is protocol 101 to separate them. At the very least, regardless of Tony’s status, LE with no jurisdiction had no business being there and should have been cleared. In fact, Tony prefaced TH’s interview as I recall.
In fact, the crater theory, and as stated many times by DY, she felt it possible TH got home and then “something happened.” I believe she also asked Kaine to search their property on the Dr. Philly show.
Well, that also means the Kyron home had not been cleared appropriately as a crime scene potential. Let me say it this way- I can assure the CART trained folks she just sponsored would agree with me.
At the end of the day, I am just talking about improper protocol for the situation and that happened for days.

I agree that the immediate response indicated that Kyron walked off grounds- he had done so before with a friend. Th had discussed his “spaceyness” with his and Kiara’s Dr. the day before.
This case reminds me so much of JBR for so many reasons. I don’t think anyone is prepared to exclude TH involvement 100% really until Ky is found, I can only say that I have never seen a scintilla of credible evidence she was/is, and I have seen a great deal of what was supposed to be the case against her in both mfh and Kyron’s disappearance was a baseless mess, in some cases complete fabrications that fell apart one by one and this lady and her child were separated at a critically developmental time for K. You know I continue to appreciate your ability to see and interpret from all sides Mom3.0

In my opinion, journalism is just like law or social work or education, the local professional cultures reflect the quality of the State’s professional schools (colleges). state she asks out of bias. And Kaine would represent any
pictures or notes would disrupt his little girl’s otherwise terrific
adjustment in her new family and school. Easy for Bell to justify denying
all forms of contact.
WW is unique for not covering Kyron’s abduction at all.
1 of two things imo:
the DA or someone’s lawyer sent WW a threatening letter demanding coverage cessation &
WW decided it wasn’t worth it
or
Rackner & Meeker attend the same synagogue, are friends, and she made a
personal request for no negative coverage.
Imo it would be impossible for a good unbiased reporter to cover the story
without negative articles about Kaine, and true articles about SZ.
