Kyron Horman Missing Case: Terri Horman Breaks Her Silence In People Magazine Interview

New York, NY-  For nearly five and a half years Terri Horman has refused to speak publicly about her step-sons case.  Outside of one assertion of her innocence while on the stand in a name change hearing she ultimately was denied, Horman did not speak to any reporters or answer any of their questions regarding Kyron Hormans disappearance. Until Now.

Horman courtesy of People

Horman was interviewed by People Magazines Elaine Aradillas for both the print and online editions,  and will be doing a series of personal interviews over the next week, to include wwww.blinkoncrime.com.

In the brief online video excerpt , the second part to air on ABC’s Good Morning America Friday morning,  Horman  maintains she is deaf in her left ear, a critical factor in the outcome of her first polygraph.

“… At what point are Kyron’s biological parents going to realize I don’t have the answers, they need to change this thing around…”

“…There is so much the public is not being told about this investigation, that’s why I am doing this- nobody is looking for Kyron…”

Horman’s interview drew sharp reactions from Kaine Horman and Desiree Young, Kyron’s parents.

“…Why is she silent for 5 1/2 years if she is innocent.  I want her to tell me where Kyron is.  If she is innocent she should call Multnomah County Sheriffs Office and sit down for an interview…”-  Desiree Young

“Hi friends. Yes I am well aware of the tabloid journalism piece in the media today. FYI – there will be more of the same coming Friday
We have a HOST of MCSO and FBI investigators STILL standing by with interviews and polygraphs when someone actually wants to cooperate. FEEL FREE TO STOP BY THEY ARE WAITING!! STILL!! Until then we’ll stick with the scores of people with valid/accurate information and the failed polygraphs as the only actual actions taken to-date.  To all of you: how about not linking the article/interview?
REMEMBER KYRON?!?!? This is what we need to be focused on!!
Love you Kyron!!” – Kaine Horman post on his Facebook Page

Christina Stoy, www.blinkoncrime.com Editor In Chief was able to confirm with Ms. Horman directly that she has been willing to meet with Kyron’s investigators both previously and in the future with the sole provision that it be conducted in the presence of her Attorney,  Portland criminal defense lawyer Stephen Houze.

Horman went on to say that investigators with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office have been well aware of “that” over the last five and a half years and they have never requested an interview.  Um, What?

Horman reveals some shocking details about the subsequent polygraphs examinations referenced by Kaine Horman and Desiree Young and other allegations of improper tactics on behalf of MCSO in the second half of her interview to air tomorrow morning on abc’s GMA and on Nightline.

The very presence of MCSO and DA people in the court room or judges chambers is suspect regarding either party. The judge should have closed the courtroom and all contacts with those involved in the investigation to find Kyron. It was another matter that had no connection to the dissolution of the parties marriage or the primary care parent of the children.

That is the entire problem. What transpired off-the-record in judges chambers. It is things like this that make the general public distrust the activities of the Criminal Justice system. Perception of possible misbehavior when it is known that others not on the record had contact with the court.

Family court orders regarding behavior do not reach across state lines although the fact of a divorce does.

I just love Blink’s point four about raising a lady and a gentleman. The children may parrot it today in a teasing manner, but it is truth that they will remember all their lives. A real value morsel for guidance.

As Terri kniws, it is impossibke to raise a lady or a gentleman when the man of the house acts out his misogeny
thru dividing the children from the mother and turning them against her. Imo Kaine like all such men did that with all 3 children. Such men get great secondary gain when a child expresses resistance, opposition, and anger to mother. the loss of James to a t out thru left the burden on Kyron. The loss of Kyron left only kiara to weaponize

ATG – nail on head. The Judges mixed the criminal and the civil in a civil case. To issue the first order or any other judgment based on “info from LE” without putting an officer on the stand to testify subject to cross would have been unheard of in my jurisdiction’s family court. The scalawag out of bounds here is Meisenheimer. There shoukd’ve been a judicial complaint.

Meisenheimer may be the scalawag in this particular case. IMO the entire Portland area criminal justice system is corrupt and needs a good housecleaning. Only those people who are favored by those in power will receive reasonable justice. When the people cease to watch for bad behavior and have no organization to represent themselves, this is the outcome. Portland is not alone. Other cities are plagued with it as well.

Kaine Horman and other men or women who choose similar paths regarding children will pay a heavy price when the child learns the truth of what occurred. Total loss of respect and maybe even rejection of the parent at fault.

Thanks for the link about the woman and her daughter shopping at Safeway.

The article just proves that the police in this matter are asleep at the switch. The surveillance video should have a date and time on the video. Makes me wonder if they even looked for a date or compared it to the date written on the media or its case. Safeway is being made liable for the mistake of the police. The lawyer is getting some things done but he needs to go after the poorly worded press release that left questions rather than taking the blame for their poor work.

Yes, Safeway made a mistake in furnishing the wrong video, but the police made a bigger mistake by running the tape in the media prior to verifying the accuracy of the date. To me they are even more guilty than Safeway.

Yes, Malty, with phone TV I too can stay glued to Fox– equal time with those devils aka msnbc & cnn. On awakening I google a candidate for the latest. Lately I’m amused to hear TX is scandalously growing some Dems in Repub soil. When I grew up there was not a Repub in the entire State; Tower was the first. It was all FDR Dems, led by Sen Ralph Yarborough who was idolized. Waving to ATG. Gratified to see in OR the prospective Govs are neck and neck. Nothing like a shakeup. If only there was a second mcso sheriff candidate next year challenging Reese to get that agency accountable to their public.

  14. Rose says:

He apparently took ownership last March. A few months prior, Briede had announced he was opening a new gym in clackamus, co-owned with his longtime loyal employee mgr. That site apparently could not get its equipment delivered and opened months late to public complaints. I assume new owner saved Briede from a bankruptcy filing. Frankly I never thought his business model would work. I haven’t refreshed myself, but memory says there was a strangely inadequate front end membership fee, a low all monthly fee, which left a seeming reliance on “extras” class enrollments. It’s like the brand was built to be sold from day 1. Buyer seems to be an old colleague who shares the business MO.

Am I reading this correctly? Does this say that the Staton investigation is suspended, but will resume AFTER Staton retires August 16? Because there is potential fear he will retaliate against his employees while he is still in office? Sounds to me as though those witnesses contacted who work for the Sheriff are refusing to talk until he’s out of office. Is that your take on this document? What the hell good would that do? I think this is most bizarre. So who, from the County would be in charge of this investigation? Weatheroy, who used to work for the PPB? Would this be some sort of conflict of interest with Reese now acting Sheriff?

Speaking of paper shredders, I wonder if anyone who started this County investigation, secured documents in some manner, or if the smell of overheated shredders fills the air at MCSO’s new offices?

I look forward to Nick Budnick’s reporting, I think his is a refreshing cup of Joe.

I do NOT understand how a reporter can excerpt from an interview with a detective, name the suspect and the prosecution memo, but withhold the docs from the piece and not name the detective in a published piece- I commented accordingly.

There is no set of circumstances an adult male is undressing a tween girl for any reason- in a school setting, or frankly, any setting that is not associated with a registered health care provider and honestly i would be against not providing a female in general. However, the suspect is a ginger so he absolutely must be guilty as are all his associates.

After reading your linked document regarding release of information about the investigation of the sheriff, it is my opinion that the District Attorney Underhill is not going to release information to the press on the current request. He indicates that there may be others that will come forward subsequent to Staton’s retirement. The last sentence indicated that the request should be renewed at some time following Staton’s retirement.

The may indeed be others that were/are fearful of retaliation from Staton will come forward. I havn’t read the applicable statues so can’t examine the language vs Underhill’s interpretation.

This means everyone waits for further developments or no further action. Delay until the issue goes away. If the press continues to push the issue, things may change. This is why there is freedom of press in the U.S. Constitution. Their job was/is to keep the people accurately informed.

  27. A Texas Grandfather says:

    Waving back Rose

I well know the days when there was just the Democrat Party that was split into liberal and conservative factions. After Eisenhour, things changed and the Republicans began to grow by the conservatives leaving the Democrat Party to build the Republican base.

The things done to the South by the Republicans following the Civil War and before, made the population reject the Republicans for close to one hundred years. During the days of paper ballots and mechanical voting machines, people would just mark the party box or turn the party lever for the party and forget the rest. It was the party more than the candidate.

While it is more difficult to rig a mechanical voting machine to commit voter fraud, it was done. The Democrat mantra was to “vote early and often”. Electronic machines are actually a special type of computer and are much easier to rig. Who counts the votes is the key. While honest people abhor such activities, some politicians will often do whatever it takes to win.

  28. T. Ruth says:

    @erose

Never thought of that, perfect excuse. I hope whomever was in charge of this investigation secured documents before that move, but it wouldn’t surprise one bit if they did not.

  29. T. Ruth says:

Based on what’s transpired with regard to Staton, I just can’t understand how DY & KH can sit idly by and not question this investigation. How can they rest assured that this bumbling Sheriff handled their son’s case any better than he handled the rest of his office and responsibilities? In fact, I don’t see how TMH can either. All three of them (and any other concerned relative, sibling, grandparent, etc.) should be writing letters to MCDA requesting that this investigation be transferred to the FBI immediately and a full *investigation* of the investigation should be commenced as well. (By whom, I’m not sure, but it should be done, DOJ?) Siting the apparent lack of professionalism and leadership of MCSO as a possible failure of this investigation to find out what happened to a little seven year old boy, I would bring into question everything that transpired, lack of securing a potential crime scene in the first place, and adding to that any other folly that may or actually did transpire, such as not securing the school’s records, not being aware of Stenson presence that morning, etc. as well. Something needs to be done in the name of Kyron, and IMO this is it. Maybe someone could draft a potential letter highlighting each and every known failure; and due to Staton’s leadership, potential failure, such as his apparent inability to listen to those on his staff who perhaps saw things in a different light and may have moved the investigation in a different path. Makes one wonder how many times, during Kyron’s case, he used his bullying tactics to have things *his way*, i.e.,*my way or the highway!*.

When is someone going to speak up for this child? The ball is directly in the bio’s hands and anyone else who knew and loved Kyron from their extended family. Everyone signing a letter like that would be a REAL **TEAM KYRON** player, and would be showing their true allegiance is in finding Kyron and seeking justice.

All this other online petition and protest BS is just that!

I can say this- if the bios do not take immediate steps to escalate this investigation, and I dare say, request updated facts in conjunction with same, by the time the series publishes a key take away will be that ONCE AGAIN, Kyron’s step Mom did and does more for him (in this context) than his bio parents. And I say that regardless of what anyone “believes” ultimately about her potential for involvement.

Curious why do you think she wants to see Kaine?
    ==================================================================

I do not know anyone else’s opinion about this, but I think it’s very possible that DY is a person who cannot let go of past insults/hurts. I can see her confronting KH, if they were alone and began to shoot arrows at each other, and unleashing “hell hath no fury.” Marriage to TY or not, I do not feel she ever let go of the affair KH had with TMH or the fact that KH dumped her.

A man who picks up with a new woman, who isn’t yet divorced from his pregnant wife and who still — as he admitted — still lives under the same roof pending advancement of their separation and divorce, is a scumbag.

And I think DY never felt she had the ability or the chance to rip his face off for doing that to him.

I know men and women who have been divorced or broken up from partners who think this way. They have not moved on. They would throw a cinder block at the Ex if they could, but they can’t, and that anger simmers to scalding temps beneath the surface.

It also makes good sense to not let DY on his property — KH would be at risk for planted evidence. THere’s a psycho pack of poorly educated, low-information trash women (sorry, that is how I see them) who have been after TMH for years now, and without any satisfaction. They now see a new target — KH — and he should be concerned for his safety and for Little K’s safety. Perhaps — as awful as this might sound — if he gets a hint of the treatment that he led TMH to endure from these lunatics, he might grow up a little. I see KH as a teenage boy still obsessed with work-outs so he can make the team. In the meantime, he and DY, both displaying emotional immaturity, are hardly in this whole process going to find their own missing child.

    ———-
I think that LE has said that do not need to do a (another) cadaver dog search on Kaines property and DY knows this. DY and her sister are using this because they want to search Kaines property themselves.

IMO Ky and DY don’t really care about an LE led Cadaver dog search. They are using it because they know LE isn’t going to do another search so they can advertise that DY will take over where LE has failed.

DY has searched everywhere for evidence against TH and has come up empty handed. She wants use this cadaver dog BS and public opinion to pressure Kaine to allow her and her Facebook buddies on his property for a search.

If they can get Kaine to allow them to search his property( by starting the cadaver dog search rumor) then they will be able to search for the thrown away burner phones ( by TH and DDS) that DY and KR are so sure that exist somewhere.

If I was Kaine I would say nothing doing. If LE wants a Cadaver dog search the let them do it. There would be to much opportunity for erroneous discoveries if DY and KH are allowed on his property. Plus the unwanted publicity it would generate.

Baby K will be confused enough about her mother it’s not a good time to start a negative public campaign about her father.

Toileting is a basic life skills activity to be trained
like riding the bus or tying shoelaces. The steps to achieve the outcome
had to be in the girl’s iep as well as what the special education staff were to do.
ie teach her to wipe, flush, wash hands. whether her parents think she “can” do
something is irrelevant. The iep controls. The assignment of a male as her para
to implement her iep is the principal’s fault and the assigned special educator’s. With a
pregnant wife, this probably himself disabled para (they often are in el ed) likely
needed his job. His job depended in this case on the principal. I suspect the parents are in
conflict with the school on many fronts and may not want her in inckusion.

Keep in mind Basic Life Skills was exactly what Skyline’s 2010 Terrones SPED was Calif Certified in.
This was his population. There must have been several similar iep’d kids at Skyline when Terrones
was placed there, and he followed Keefer to George when they matriculated. Likely some BLS kids were
iep’d to Skyline because there was a bathroom in the sped self-contained room, which I hope is

  45. Rose says:

In addition to a Basic Life Skills certified sped in 2010, Skyline was flush with paras, more than in an average eled of its size. After a couple years, so many paras were nolonger assigned there likely due to their service targets aging out of the school. I always figured some parent(s) with political clout rec’d iservices for their disabled child(ren) placed there in 09-10.
    ——
OT My iep’d son was once in the classroom of a severely autistic boy who was completely uncommunicative and behaviorally challenging, but because he was the child of a Congressman he had a fulltime para at his elbow. His female para doubtless helped with his toileting in earliest years. That’s how I learned paras in the best of school districts are themselves often quite academically inept and perhaps took an eled para job because it was the only job they could qualify for. The best were taking some community college classes to try to progress personally. Eventually I got my son out of this boy’s classroom to get rid of his para service provider, as mine didn’t need one. Only to end up with a special educator assigned who chose the field due to receiving servicesherself: she was entirely deaf and lip read and misheard and mispronounced constantly, yet paired with an auditory-processing, language disabled child. School systems mispair the disabled by sex and by disability all the time.

41 arrested in Tennessee human-trafficking probe

NASHVILLE — Over the course of three days this week, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested 41 people, including 14 from Nashville, connected with human trafficking, the TBI announced Friday.

“This week I learned that we are only scratching the surface,” TBI Director Mark Gwyn said at a news conference. “This is our most significant operation to date.”

More than half of the 34 men arrested specified that they wanted to have sex with minors, the TBI said. Six women and one juvenile also were arrested.

During the operation, undercover agents posted ads on Backpage.com. Some agents posed as underage girls. According to the TBI, 485 men responded to the ads posted and more than 5,300 responded to the ads through texts or phone.

Republican state House Speaker Beth Harwell said the arrests should serve as a message to those looking to promote human trafficking in Tennessee.

“I had the chance to see the operation from the inside on Wednesday,” Harwell said. “While I was there I saw a man get arrested for wanting to have sex with an underage woman. To those scouring the web or apps in the search for sex with our state’s children, let me say this: Be warned.”

Ms. Harwell needs to rephrase her statement. There is no such thing as an “underage woman”, the word she should have used is sex with a “child”.

    Absolutely agree, T.Ruth

“According to a TBI news release, those arrested include David Shepard, 56, a Hunters Lane High School teacher, and Gary Rashad Canty, 20, a former Vanderbilt University football player from Riverdale, Ga., who red shirted his freshman year in 2014 and then left the team for medical issues the next year. He never played in a game for Vanderbilt. Canty was a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports, and ranked as 180th nationally among wide receivers.”

” …think that LE has said that do not need to do a (another) cadaver dog search on Kaines property and DY knows this. DY and her sister are using this because they want to search Kaines property themselves.

IMO Ky and DY don’t really care about an LE led Cadaver dog search. They are using it because they know LE isn’t going to do another search so they can advertise that DY will take over where LE has failed.”
imo to what motive but generating more donations.

Totally agree. The interesting thing is the Davidson sisters have totally published this search mission of theirs (search Kaine’s property with cadaver dogs) through Soldier’s FB, AND most responses of public comment on Soldier’s FB demonstrate readers have been misled that it is mcso or some law enforcement employee that wants to perform the search and has been stymied by Kaine. Commenting readers seem wholly unaware it is Desiree and Kelly who want their boots on Kaine’s ground.
