Kyron Horman Missing Case: Terri Horman Breaks Her Silence In People Magazine Interview
New York, NY- For nearly five and a half years Terri Horman has refused to speak publicly about her step-sons case. Outside of one assertion of her innocence while on the stand in a name change hearing she ultimately was denied, Horman did not speak to any reporters or answer any of their questions regarding Kyron Hormans disappearance. Until Now.

Horman was interviewed by People Magazines Elaine Aradillas for both the print and online editions, and will be doing a series of personal interviews over the next week, to include wwww.blinkoncrime.com.
In the brief online video excerpt , the second part to air on ABC’s Good Morning America Friday morning, Horman maintains she is deaf in her left ear, a critical factor in the outcome of her first polygraph.

Christina Stoy, www.blinkoncrime.com Editor In Chief was able to confirm with Ms. Horman directly that she has been willing to meet with Kyron’s investigators both previously and in the future with the sole provision that it be conducted in the presence of her Attorney, Portland criminal defense lawyer Stephen Houze.
Horman went on to say that investigators with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office have been well aware of “that” over the last five and a half years and they have never requested an interview. Um, What?
Horman reveals some shocking details about the subsequent polygraphs examinations referenced by Kaine Horman and Desiree Young and other allegations of improper tactics on behalf of MCSO in the second half of her interview to air tomorrow morning on abc’s GMA and on Nightline.

Skyline is classified as Historic so they must adhere to any remod conditions or repairs. That said, it would not preclude someone who knew the blueprints or plans at some point.

Regarding Skyline –
I decided to review the school building. In 2009, PPS ordered a report on potential historic sites among the properties they owned. I have included a link to that report and some quotes snipped from it. Skyline is not actually on the NRHP list. Only a few schools are currently on the list and some are because they are part of an historic district. The report was to provide the district with guidelines for future work on any of its properties in order to properly preserve anything of historic importance. The purpose was not to start applying for buildings to get on the list. Even though Skyline is coded yellow (moderate) and attempts would hopefully be made to follow the rules used for registered historic places as a guide, this would not be an actual requirement and would not even have been on anyone’s “radar” until summer of 2009.
I’m not sure this means anything for our purposes, but I can tell you in the building where I worked, there were some pretty amazing gaps where workmen over the years had covered asbestos (an acceptable practice) or lead paint, or rewired or replaced pipes or whatever and left the old stuff there rather than pay to remove it. If there was a leak in the ceiling or some other issue, it was pretty plain to see old construction when being repaired, otherwise you would never have known. Workmen came and went – sometimes from the district, sometimes contracted – the only people who really knew a building right down to its core were the head custodians who stayed in the same building for many years and who had the responsibility to keep things working until absolutely necessary to spend money to fix them. The ones I knew had few resources so tended to be packrats – they kept old tools and supplies in storage areas here and there, along with the stuff they were constantly asked to find a place for. Of course, most of the buildings I worked in were larger than Skyline, but any building that is old, has had multiple repairs, has had multiple renovations or remodels (like adding computer wiring for the phone system, which PPS did), perhaps a change in the heating system – there are possibilities.
Having gone through this review though, I can’t imagine someone singling out a child for a sexual purpose and managing to carry that out and then leave his body in the building. I can, however, imagine someone (very knowledgeable) who had been doing that and wanted to get rid of him before others found out, carefully preparing a place for him to disappear into somewhere in the building or on the property. If that were true, I don’t think ordinary search methods would work. Probably not very likely to be what happened anyway.

I believe in historic preservation, but some of the things that the EPA and like minded groups have forced on building codes do nothing other than cause unnecessary expense.
Waiting until 2009 for lead paint abatement at Skyline is a prime example. Lead was used in all oil based white paints as a whitener. The paint would be obtained from a source along with bars of lead. The bars of lead would be melted at the job site and added to the paint to get the level of white desired. I am still here and as a youngster, age 10, I was the one melting the lead bars when our house was painted.
There were millions of houses that were built following WWII that used asbestos siding. It was used to insulate steel structures in commercial buildings. Thousands of miles of asbestos conduit were laid where high voltage conductors were placed underground. I have installed my share of that material too.
Nearly everything the EPA has mandated is based on junk science and is just a scam like the so called global warming.
I like Rose’s thoughts about the painter. He would not need a set of blue prints to do the painting. However, someone could have walked him through the building in detail to show him what work was required.

But it still leaves the question as to wh was he targeted? (steroids payback?, molestation cover up?, revenge for the unknown?) and the who? I really would like Kaine to be requestioned I feel like a lot of the whys could lead directly to him. And it would explain why is he is so quick to throw Terri under the bus because it’ gets eyes off of him.
And not only if he was walked through but painting takes time. Lots of time. And I bet a majority of that time was unsupervised so they really got to see the building and learn access point that there wasn’t security cams etc.
I never could get who Mystery Man was. I still thought he was the guy putting something in his pocket. Now I know it was plaid shirt person. So the Mayor knew almost immediately that Kyron was seen with some plaid shirt person last yet when some plaid shirt guy in the picture is tweeted it is immediately followed by he was identified or we do not want to discuss that Kyron was last seen with some plaid shirt person. The bus driver SB was at the fair. I think maybe Kyron had ridden in his bus on school outings. I wonder if he had children at Skyline and always thought he could be the person behind the young girls in the picture. I am not really sure why he sticks in my mind, something about sushi.
Anyone could throw on an oversized plaid shirt, walk out with Kyron, disable him, remove shirt and come back in.
@Rose, the painting was done by volunteers 5/2/10 and what’s even weirder to me……finished August 2010. Handrails and trim were allowed to be painted over just a two months after this child went missing. Not to mention cleaning out “volunteer” areas of the basement. (Wonder which of two classrooms had to be finished painting?) Always bugged me.

Skyline School Service Day
Dear Skyline School Community and Neighbors:
Many of you are aware that on May 2, 2010, more than 125 volunteers from Sunset Presbyterian spent the day at Skyline School doing inside and outside projects. With the help of several Skyline parents, students and neighbors the amount of work that was done that day was truly amazing. In a continuing effort to support our school and complete the work started on May 2nd, Sunset Presbyterian volunteers will be returning on Sunday, August 29th for “Skyline Service Day”. Here are some of the projects that we will be doing:
* Finish painting exterior metal handrails.
* Finish painting trim in two classrooms.
* Paint one wall in the library.
* Clean out and reorganize “volunteer” room and “locker rooms” in basement of school.
* Landscaping around the school.
* Track maintenance
This will be our 10th and final year as Skyline parents and we are thrilled to partner with Sunset Presbyterian church for Skyline Service Day. This has been a difficult last few months for our Skyline staff and families, and we want to make sure that our school looks especially great when our kids return to class in September. As the project leaders we are seeking additional volunteers for the day from the Skyline community. In addition, we are looking for donations of water and snacks that we can provide to the volunteers during the day. If you are unable to volunteer we are also seeking monetary donations to help fund the purchase of supplies (paint, equipment, bark dust, etc.) needed for the day.

If TMH offered up the possible molestation to LE on day one or two or three or four, in whichever interview, how could LE then say it’s an isolated case, when there would be a possibility that someone from that school was doing the molesting?
The only way I can see them saying that is if each and every child had been questioned in that regard, the older ones by LE, and the younger one’s by their parents who would report back to LE.

(nowvremoved from Internet) Keefer-PTA were raising money specifically for a lead abatement painting of all interior window trim and doors to be done in the 2009 year. It looks like Sunset volunteers did some finishing on a couple windows in 5/10. But the money Keefer asked to be donated was to pay a hired man or men and for the paint.

Painting is a skill that looks easy, but requires a lot of knowledge and practice to do quality work. Unless Skyline had some real painters in the volunteer group, the work would have been given to professionals.
One of the big things that amateurs do not understand is proper cleaning and surface preparation. The life of paint is dependent on getting everything prepared.

They have some magnificent cajones, not only that, is I were a Skyline parent, or a PPS parent, I’d be even angrier.
Here’s a student, their student, and the parent has a suspicion of molestation. Their student disappears, on their watch and they say, nope not our fault, stepmother took him. How are they not concerned for other children? Oh yeah, it’s not about the kids.
There is not one aspect about any of this that is for Ky. I hope wherever that child is, he is at peace.
If there is thought that Kyron may have been molested, and the appointment initiated a need to keep him from talking, then at least 3 components would have been required:
** opportunities in the preceding months to be alone with Kyron
** an avenue to learn of the upcoming appointment
** access on that fateful day
That would really narrow down the number of possibilities, especially within the school environment, wouldn’t it? Schools here have long had a never-a-single-adult with a closed door policy for elementary kids; was there a similar policy there?

In theory, yes to the access at the school and obviously one of my initial questions. The problem in answering it is that I am aware of at least 2 occasions where Kyron was unattended while at school. One was some program iirc was to occur after school but was cancelled but no parents were informed so he and a few others were found hanging out in the library and the other when he wandered off with a boy in his class and was found outside.

After Terri reminisces about the last time she saw Kyron, as he was approaching his classroom door, People/Aradillas continues: “It was also the last time anyone saw Kyron.” (Beginning of the second paragraph)
That is a pretty declarative and condemning statement for a supposedly pro-Terri article, especially considering all that is known that sheds much doubt on her being the last one to see Kyron that day. I get the “artistry” of the “last thought” and the “last time” but a little more accurate journalism might be in order. At least a “known” or better yet, something like: “No other adult has admitted to seeing Kyron that day, after Terri watched him walk down the hall towards his classroom.”

Generally, I also would have liked to see her present herself as more likeable. However, I highly doubt many of us could do as well as she did considering what she has been through.
One moment stood out confirming to me her fond feelings for Kyron and their relationship. Briefly, at about 2:33 in the video, after confirming Kyron was very proud of his SF project, she chuckles and smiles warmly remembering the time she and Kyron spent working on the project.

Terri’s half hour stop, could that have been on Germantown road between Skyline and HW30. There are lots of places to pull well off the road and it is in Forest Park. Several searches were done in that area. On one of my trips through the area I detoured through Germantown road and observed many searchers both on the downside and the upside of the parking areas.

Imo this underestimates his pathology whatever it is, idk. . We have just seen Kaine would deep six 18 mo old k’s mother intense tie at 18 months, an exceptionally vulnerable age to do so. As far as the hole in the wall at Skyline – I worked in a building as late as 2003 which had a hole in the ceiling over the desk of the secretary to the principal – very noticeable. I know it was there at least 2 years, may still be there, but I hope not. Made you think something might fall on your head. Never knew whether to look up, or down to watch for the field mice which would just sit and stare at you. All schools were not cared for equally, whether intentional or not.

(1) As used in this section, “large school district” means a school district that has an enrollment of over 2,500 students based on certified enrollment numbers submitted to the Department of Education during the first quarter of each new school year.

1) to persuade a resistant dad to consent to neurological and neuropsychological workups.
or 2) suspected molestation as easily could have been occurring in Medford, and if so Kaine
would have to deal with it. Lots of candidates in his milieu from his age up.

@Tiny, absolutely! If TMH told LE, who did LE tell? Did they tell the school about this information? If not, why not? If they did, just whom did they talk to about the possibility of Kyron’s molestation and what was done about investigating it?
Did someone else in the family tell them the idea was ridiculous, and they never saw any changes in Kyron’s behavior? We know Kaine was skirting around admitting there was a doctor appointment and attributing Ky’s behavior to sleep-loss. So there’s a hint of denial there. What about DY, wouldn’t her saying Kyron’s behavior had been off for about a year, add substance to Terri’s suspicions. Or did DY not bother to tell LE that in the beginning? And again, if not, why not?
This all makes me ill. If this possibility was not investigated, from ALL angles and to include EVERYONE in Kyron’s circle, what a horrible travesty. Was someone purposely altering the course of this investigation? If so, who?

What date? I don’t recall ever hearing that Dede had been over the at the Horman’s until AFTER Kaine had left Terri. ?
Kyron’s biological mother, Desiree Young, said investigators shared e-mails with her that Terri sent friends. She said in them Terri talked about hurting Kyron. Desiree said she now believes Terri is capable of doing so.
“Extreme hatred for Kyron, and she talked about hurting him and things that you just don’t talk about with children,” she told KATU News Monday evening by phone. “I don’t understand how you can feel that way about a 7-year-old.”

That is a pretty declarative and condemning statement for a supposedly pro-Terri article, especially considering all that is known that sheds much doubt on her being the last one to see Kyron that day. I get the “artistry” of the “last thought” and the “last time” but a little more accurate journalism might be in order. At least a “known” or better yet, something like: “No other adult has admitted to seeing Kyron that day, after Terri watched him walk down the hall towards his classroom.”
Agreed- I got nothing on that.

In your post 31 on this page, I think you could not state the unthinkable regarding MCSO. IMO the steroid link to MCSO was so strong via Kaine, that they used their authority to do just what you said “nailed Terri’s hide to the wall”.
They were afraid of Terri and her possible knowledge that would point the illegal drug activities to them. This may also include some people associated with the courts.
Some of you may remember my posting regarding my stop at Portland, during my 1999 trip to Vancouver, to buy music at the well known sheet music store across from the park downtown. Mrs. ATG remained in the car watching activities in the park. It was drug city! It disturbed her so much that she did not want to stay overnight there.
Seems to me that if the allegation of molestation is just making an appearance, almost 6 years later, someone really wanted that tidbit out of the press.

When Kristian was arraigned in 2009, Kaine needed to inform DY, and his arrest was a change of parental curcumstances opening the door to a hearing on custody matters. Doubtless it was Terri who informed DY for Kaine and perhaps this was the occasion Terri recommended DY pursue a residential custody change.
There are all kinds of reasons Terri might never state publically for abruptly moving James to Roseburg while Kaine was out of town. Could be he had been exposed to grandpa or Kristian.
Surely when Terri discussed Kristian’s arrest with DY, DY followed up with “Did he ever babysit Kyron?”
So when Kyron exhibited worrisome signs to Terri, surely she mentioned to Medford Mom she was taking him to the doctor just to be sure.
If Kyron was exposed to an opportunist (who could be a child his grade or up) in Medford, that was all the reason in the world for Tony to make the statement Terri is guilty without a doubt on July 30,2010, Today Show:
