Orlando, Fl– Recently reported exclusively on Blinkoncrime.com, new Attorney for the tot mom’s defense team, Todd Macaluso, who was introduced to Judge Stan Strickland prior to filing his pro hac vicebefore the court during a motion hearing on March 3, 2009, may be out.
Is Macaluso the Madoff of law?
He blazed the interview circuit in Orlando declaring Casey Anthony’s innocence and went so far as to say she should not be in jail awaiting trail and the defense was looking into seeking another bond hearing.
Mr. Macaluso is currently undergoing disciplinary chargesbrought forth by the California Bar. The 10 page initiating document outlining the charges was filed January 23, 2009.
Orlando, Fl– Jim Hoover, one of the private detectives that had been working for the Anthony family and by way of Dominick Casey also Jose Baez and Casey Anthony was deposed yesterday in the Zenaida Gonzalez Civil Suit.
Attorney for Zenaida Gonzalez, John Morgan, questioned Hoover for over three hours with the PI becoming visibly un nerved when faced with questions he did not wish to answer. Hoover arrived at the deposition at the law offices of Morgan and Morgan without an attorney. At one point, the self-proclaimed 35 year veteran private investigator requested to stop the deposition and he would get a lawyer.
“..Part of Private Investigations is that it is private.. Is that question relevant to this? How is that relevant? We should probably just stop this and I’ll get a lawyer.”
For most of the 3.5 hour deposition Hoover was fidgeting in his chair and when Morgan asked questions that were clearly uncomfortable for him, he seemed evasive. Morgan asked Hoover if he had memory problems:
..What celebrity were you a bodyguard for?.. Do you not remember or you don’t want to answer the question? See.. if I was a bodyguard for Oprah Winfrey, I would remember that.. By the way, this is the easy part..”
As previously reported exclusively on Blinkoncrime, Hoover admitted that Dominick Casey told him that either Jose Baez, attorney to tot mom Casey Anthony, or Casey herself was paid between $200–$225K for image rights by abc. When asked who he felt Dominic Casey was on the phone with, he said he was never told but that he always thought it was Lee Anthony. Hoover was never asked to perform any investigative work into any person named Zenaida Gonzalez at any time during his tenure with the Anthony’s.
Orlando, Fl– It was announced yesterday afternoon that Jose Baez, defense counsel to murderous tot mom Casey Anthony will be in court this morning at 10:30am EST to address the motion brought by the Prosecution to uncover the source of funding in Casey’s defense.

Since the announcement of the State’s Motion, several legal analysts have weighed in on the signfigance to the murder case against Casey. While opinions vary greatly as to support of the motion within the legal community, one conclusion seems to be unanimous: It will be a critical blow to the defense if it is granted.
Orlando, FL– Finally, a relative of murdered 34 month old Caylee Anthony that I believe. Shirley Plesea, maternal Grandmother to Casey Anthony, Interview with Orange County Sheriff’s Office was made public last Friday.

I only hope at some point we get to hear the audio. It is the first piece of discovery evidence I actually pseudo enjoyed reading as much as one can knowing it is evidence in a murder case of a baby.
Palmdale, CA- Stacy Barker,24, a Palmdale woman who reported her 18 month old daughter missing Friday told Police she was hit on the back of the head while putting her daughter, Emma Barker into her car seat Thursday evening. Barker claimed to have awakened a few miles away in another city, partially clad with a head injury and her daughter was kidnapped.
Sheriff Lt. Pat Nelson said that Barker was suffering from a head injury when she first spoke to investigators although the details of how she sustained that injury are not known.
After commencing a search for the child, the body of a small female toddler was found in Sylmar, CA, a few blocks from Interstate 5. The Coroners Office positively identified the body as Emma Barker on Friday afternoon.
Stacey Barker admitted her child died and she was afraid she would be blamed according to Diane Hecht of the LA Sheriff’s Office. Lt. Nelson did not detain Barker but will present the case to the District Attorney’s Office and may at their recommendation file charges against the LA tot mom.
Gary Barker, Father of Stacey Barker and grandfather of Emma spoke to the AP:
..”They both lived with me and I lost saw them Tuesday night.. I was holding Emma and dancing with her and slowly dipping her.. After that it was bed time and Stacey gave her a bottle and put her to bed. Her death is such an unatural tragedy..”
Mr. Barker declined to provide any comment on how Emma died or about his daughter.
The autopsy results for Emma Barker have not been released.
Orlando, FL- The State’s Attorney’s Office released the newest round of discovery evidence previously released to defense counsel to tot mom, Jose Baez, Wednesday.
The interviews released include interviews with Shirley Pleasea, Cameron “Cam Cam”Campion, roommate to Tony Lazzarro, PI Dominick Casey, a co-worker of Cindy Anthony and a man that smoked pot with indicted murder suspect Casey Anthony. In the Investigative Reports, a man that lost his wallet in the general area was interviewed as well.
Among the information learned, it appears the most startling revelation comes from the interview with Shirley Pleasea, Mother of Cindy Anthony and Grandmother to Casey Anthony. She indicated that although Casey had stolen money from her on numerous occasions, she used the money in August 2007 to pay for a cake and party favors for Caylee’s 2 Year Birthday Celebration.
Also revealed during the August 21 Interview with OCSO, Mrs. Pleasea told Investigators that Casey had stolen ,000 from her mother Cindy, possibly through taking out credit cards in Cindy’s name. Casey’s father George also took out credit cards in Cindy’s name without her knowledge according to Cindy Anthony’s Mother.
The most damning comment offered by Mrs. Pleasea, was when she wondered allowed if Casey hated Cindy more than she loved Caylee.
