Casey/Caylee Anthony Case: Zenaida Gonzalez Civil Case Back in Court -UPDATES LIVE-
Orlando, FL– The Motions hearing in the civil case on behalf of Zenaida Gonzalez against totmom Casey Anthony got a late start this morning.
Keith Mitnik, representing Zenaida for Morgan and Morgan, began by alledging the defendants motion, represented by Jonathan Casen, is untimely, and filed after a response 3 months prior. Judge responded by allowing Casen to address the “moot” ness of the filing, and then hear the merit of the filing.
Almost immediately, Judge Rodriguez slammed both sides of the court to stop the eruption of snark barbs and threatened to cancell the hearing if it did not cease. First on the docket was the motion on behalf of Gonzalez to ammend the civil case to include punitive damages.
Mitnik went on to masterfully craft the argument that Casey Anthony is the only person to identify his client with the abduction of her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony, as well as with Sawgrass Apartments, where Ms. Anthony had friends living at the time.
Casen, responding to Mitnik’s claims, argued that the plaintiff’s counsel did not provide adequate fore-diligence in researching the probability of punitive damages in advance of the filing and the ammendment for punitive damages should be disallowed. Casen then followed up with the Judge’s own words from an earlier hearing in the case, regarding “splitting the baby” on the issue. (Editor’s note: Who says that in open court in a case that involves a murdered 34 month old whose remains were found scattered in nearly a 1 mile radius)

Both sides agreed to continue the balance of the motions before the court on Thursday.
Judge Rodriguez then addressed the issues of prior security regarding the corridor and warned the media if they are going to “monger” to catch footage of respondents or interested parties and it causes a safety breach, they will be barred from the proceedings.
The hearing ended with Attorney Casen whining to Judge Rodriguez that if the opposing counsel had told him their plan to table motions until Thursday with the exception of this one, he would have appreciated the professionalism to have been told that in advance, as he drove up from Jacksonville the day before.
Judge interrupted Casen’s whiney drivel and immediately requested counsel approach his honor where he went off the record.
It is not clear what His Honor said to Casen, but sources inside the courtroom have confirmed to blinkoncrime.com they overhears something about calling a WWWWWAAAAAAAmbulance.

I always thought Bozo’s motion was just another of his “Hail Mary” plays that go nowhere. Honestly, I don’t know how any judge can keep a straight face when presented with anything from that (loosely termed): FIRM.
Waaa-mbulace??…. he should have first sought first aid from nurse Cindy to mitigate client costs by using her own resources to help him revive. Although the thought of Cindy approaching the bench would be a bit more than scarey for Judge R. at this point in the proceedings.
Is there any special significance to the wording of the amendment, something that Cindy broadcast the defamation? Does that indicate that they will become part of the civil suit? or is that just my wishful thinking? the wording as found in the Orlando Sentinel, I mean.

Loved the bit where the judge took Kasen’s Case for Casey down a few notches as the lawyer tried to bring up the commonality of the Hispanic name Fernandez where he’s from. Judge Rodriguez quickly put him in his place since he knows something about names ending with ‘ez’ in Southern Florida, where Kasen is from– and Kasen then pointed out they were in rival schools!! OOPS!!! What a thing to say…

It makes much more sense that Casey took off the night of June 15. What do the cell phone pings say about her locations that day? If so, Cindy and George have been lying to LE at least a day earlier than I thought. It is not CMA, as they say, it was CYA> Cindy not wanting to confess that she threw her daughter and granddaughter to the curb. One question, probably answered long ago, but I didnt see it: why do you say that Caylee was not in the trunk for a long time? Wouldn’t there have had to be considerable decomposition for the smell to be that bad and that persistent?

Sorry to sound vindictive but I want ZFG and John Morgan to draw this out as long as possible. It is a thorn in the side of the A clan. They have been so arrogant and demeaning to the intelligence of the rest of the world that I do not mind seeing them dragged through court. What they have done is not moral or ethical. If they would begin to tell the truth and stand up for their murdered granddaughter instead of their sociopathic daughter I would change my mind. The little stunts of not answering questions and being totally out of control in legal procedings will end too.

Yesterday, Camp Casey got hit hard three ways, first the motion to dismiss civil died on the judge’s bench as the proffer in support of punitives was added. Next, with the Leo Padi’o’ depo cancelled, Belich had a little chat with him on the telephone and revealed in person, that the sweet battered hubby innocent milk-toast George, could be the best liar of them all.
And to top it all off, Ronald Cummings takes a stand to say to Camp Anthony ‘stay away’! (what was that sound that came out of Cindy’s mouth when she was ‘miked up’ to tell people to never give up hope– notice George was all wired too of the most recent ‘Camp Casey’ tour. Thank goodness Ron has spoken up– that must be a real hit to be told ‘go away’.
What will Cindy say to blame others for this? Taking bets!!!– anyone up for a pool on how long it takes Cindy to blame the father of little Haleigh for protecting his family from being used on the Camp Casey agenda tour.
I already know exactly what Cindy will say. She is a one trick pony. She will say that the rest of us are not privy to all of the information and that Casey should not be judged because Cindy knows she is innocent. We should just take her word for it because she is unable to answer any questions about it, now or ever.

Blink, we’ve heard about the ‘C’ in ‘C Zenaida Gonzalez’ in Cindy’s depos and we see the explanation for that ‘C’ as a non-issue in the name of Ms. Gonzalez, and take that Casey did not see this exact writing and make a link to target someone by the name of ‘C. Zenaida Gonzalez’ from that application card.
But, what about the ‘Fernandez’, as this is still an issue the defense is raising. There is no talk about the children’s names on that visitor/applicant card but the children’s names were listed as this is stated in the proffer entered with the courts yesterday (www.forthepeople.com).
Question for Blink– what is the Fernandez link explanation? Is this name used by one or more of Zenaida’s children as part of the surname? Casey liked to complicate her facts, adding more layers, more detail made her lies more believable and successful obviously in her own mind because that’s what she’s shown, so if Casey saw the card, she would see the name of the children and mother, and add the Fernandez as one more level of detail that supports her lie, further clarifying that THIS Zenaida is the Zenaida babysitter for police to investigate.
Also, the Zanni and Annie great adventure, shows that there was a Zenaida Gonzalez identity being used by someone and if this was Casey as ZG, then she would maybe want the identity to have more polish or maybe differentiated somehow, by adding the F-G.
What’s the scoop on the Fernandez? No one has done this as a story yet.
Its a made up name Kleat, no mystery, no story.
What I find hilarious, is that this judge, hearing the civil case, wil get to see Cindy in the FBI interview flub and call her Zenaida Rodriguez… THE JUDGES NAME.. woo hoo, now that one I may have to attend in person.

Blink, excellent response re: not sending emails/spam to the Anthony’s– a petition won’t do anything, spam won’t either, and it just feeds their ideas about blaming ‘bloggers’. They don’t need any help, the tour is quickly grinding to a halt in it’s ability to gain ‘sympathy’ and if they continue their catching every camera tour, they will come full circle into the circus it once was with Cindy showing her true colours again as she can’t keep up the facade of rehearsed sympathy pouts and smiles as pressure mounts.
yeah!! Zenaida Fernandez Rodriguez!! Maybe the judge’s relatives ‘did it’!! Tomorrow’s hearing ought to be good– I doubt this judge will let Cindy and George rule the day once again. The judge ruled that the cameras could not pan around, but the camera did change to George and Cindy as they went ‘off record’ for their side-bar. That smile of Cindy earlier, showed the camera person was prepared for a quick shot of the couple in the right focus range. Wonder if the judge said this was ok? Noted that the judge shut down the NBC rep as he called out to the judge– ‘you are not recognized, you may sit down…. thank you..’

Michelle Bart is still involved with Cindy and George, she organized the deal last weekend where Cindy and George took center stage mikes n’ all. The Anthony’s were invited, Haleigh Cumming’s mother was invited, but NOT the Cumming’s family!!! This is really outrageous behaviour in support of families who have missing loved ones.

Personally, I don’t think that anyone, including Casey knew what Zenieda looked like… The way they knew about her appointment at Sawgrass was from e-mails on her laptop that was stolen. But, no matter how she came about the information, the fact that she knew she was there eliminates any innocence on the Anthony’s part.
They were looking for a scape goat and Zeneida was it, imo.
And I agree with Kleat. No one, innocent or guilty would want to be associated with a sinking ship like the Anthony’s. Don’t tell me, Cindy asked that they do only a live search for Haleigh, as well?

i knew a girl in college who discoverd her dormatory roommate had been writing checks to herself out of her account,for four years,the victim told her father,who is a psychologist for the tennesee valley authority(nuclear power plant)MY POINT: he told her to be very careful in HOW she handled the confrontation,that the fact that she had been doing it an a pattern for four years SHOWED A UNSTABLE PERSONALITY(in fact he had her not confront her personally)(the victim handled it through a school counselor who confronted the theif with the discovery),and not to tell people or gossip about it that HER REACTION TO BE BEING DISCOVERD could THROW HER UNSTABLE PERSONALITY OVER THE EDGE AND SHE COULD BECOME DANGEROUS TO HERSELF OR OTHERS.
Blink…if the defense trys to pin this horrible crime on someone else (say Jesse Grund, another “ZG”, or whoever) how will they be able to?? How does the law work on that??
