Tracy Ocasio Case: Sewer By Hataway Home To Be Searched Today
Ocoee, FL– Additional search plans for Tracy Ocasio, 27, last seen at the Florida Tap Room leaving with Jimmy Hataway on May 27, are focused on the sewer by Hataways home today.
Last week, the septic tank was drained in the home that Hataway shared with his father Vrigil, following the seizure of two computers.
Ocasios yellow Chevy Cobalt was found a few blocks from Hataways home the day after she was last seen but Police have not called him a suspect in her disappearance.
The Ocasio family recently launched a site, www.tracyocasio.com to help generate leads in her case.

Re: #192 FairWitness – I guess I should restate that – I know there is a connection with location, ie. Tap Room ,etc. – but what is the motive? There is a possible clear motive with Ocascio with the altercation, etc. – and she was dating and mingling within this group – why Kesse? What was the motive? Did she know something? The timing is also weird – like they staked her out – I can’t imagine she was at the bar that night.
If I read this correctly, and Ocasio was dating one of the Huttos, is it possible she left with JVH knowing it would piss off the ex-boyfriend – in a plan that backfired?

I am in Cali and used to work for an executive business center that had a switchboard with 100+ different phone numbers. Ocasionally, we would have an officer show up at the front desk because they received a 911 hang up call from one of our truncated numbers. We never could find an explaination for it. Even though it happened several times and they were aware of the problem, they always sent someone out. If they are not doing the same in Florida, maybe they should be…
The poster on a previous article regarding this case states “you shot a girl”. Now, the police log that Puzzler posted has “shots fired” on Cullens Ct at 2:30 a.m., exactly the time that Tracy would have been in that area. Later that same morning, there is a call to Cullens Ct for Found/Lost property (around 11:30 a.m.) Tracy’s phone/wallet maybe? Is there any way we can see the full reports on these incidents? What the findings were? Something seems really wrong here. Then, the 911 hang up later that day from Wyoming. WTH?

I’m sure everyone has done this, I just pulled up the map in regards to distance from Cullens Ct and Lyle St. (Hataway’s) and it is 3.9 miles, 10 minute drive at the most. AND Cullens Ct is right by Lake Johio. Sure wish the details of these calls were available. Any word on the results of the call regarding shots fired?

The time and energy, that alot of you people put in to this says ALOT, including Blink! I love this Lady. I get alot of smart a$$ commits from my husband, for reading this and following these kind of stories, because they can be so negitive. Like sucking the energy out of you. I simply tell him to bug off, I learn alot and the more people who are involved could break the case or get the “higher-ups” involved in something that’s NOT right. Bottom line is, when a someones missing and the FAMILIES can’t get anywhere, they really need you guys, BIGTIME! They are so hurt and helpless in the stage of
grieving. If people don’t stick together and help….WHO will? I found blinkoncrime and scaredmonkey’s when the Sandra Cantu girl went missing, and I was shocked, but even if I learn something for each case, it makes me more aware. You guys have are doing an awesome job and I COMMEND you for this.

It is amazing to hear that a 911 is not investigated at all! It is criminal in the part of LE not to try and make contact, in person or by phone. Suppose someone is having a heart attack and passes out? I am glad I don’t live in Ocoee. I read in another sleuth site, that there is an 81 congressman who’s last name is also Hutto. has anyone heard of this? Sunday, I think you are great. We need to find her body.

what are the fl.laws regarding dna keeping of convicts? which of these have their dna on file? calilady and steph,i feel for you guys and mr. ocasio,i prayed and cried for ya’ll during the michael jackson memorial,these guys seem too criminal minded and to rugged to leave a dna’d body findable,not to stop looking,as i am sure they left something crucial,or tracy did ,i agree she fought,if the body’s not found,they can still be got ,layering charges,plea bargins,if they produce jen.k and tracy.somehow the truth will emerge.are cadaver dogs also scent dogs,they needed to pick up her traces.
All convicted felons have to submit their DNA in FL. They even go back and get DNA from previously convited inmates before releasing if jailed before law went into effect. Some slip through but they are trying.
Yes, however, Hataway gave his voluntarily, they did not have it. Important distinction in my mind

Thus far, I have not found a link – but I do not have the resources to do the “deep digging” that some sleuths do (over at SM there seem to be many with ‘connections’). Would still be interested to know for certain . . . but the fact that our dear Blink has not responded to this thought tells me it must not be a valid connection to this case . . .

I might be stating the obvious here but IMO it’s fairly obvious that JH seems to the be scapegoat in this case. Not saying that he has led a completely innocent life but really…being the last to leave with Tracy, the car close to his house, the pings on the phone, other missing people. It’s a big arrow pointing at him, but did he think he was so untouchable as to leave such condemning evidence and the police would ignore it. He would have covered up a little better I would assume. Maybe the police figured if they have him in custody someone like Blink wouldn’t dig any deeper.
There is no doubt in my mind that is the case. As I have stated time again. Not a nice guy, however, in the Rachel Clark case, BOTH were covered in scratches and bruises. Jimmy is a strong dude of some size, Rachel is petite as was Tracy. Jimmy did not have a scratch on him the day Tracy disappeared, nothing. I have no doubt if there were any similarities between the incidents, she would have fought.

EARL DEWITT HUTTO is from Alabama. He was a US Rep (D)representing Fl from 1979-1994. He lives in Panama City. From there to Ocoee is about 365 miles. He served in the Navy from 1944-46. He was affiliated with some Baptist organizations and apparently was proud of his religion. He chose not to run for re-election in 1994 and was replaced by Joe Scarborough (sp?) of Morning Joe on MSNBC.

Just a really weird factoid to throw out there…Hutto ousted my Uncle (District 5) for State Rep. the firs year he ran. Small world huh? And yeah it’s the “Good ole boy” system here in some parts of FL, just like anywhere else.

I had a little time today so I took a drive along the potential route and through the Woodlawn Park…. It doesn’t have as much potential in person as it does on the map. It’s pretty wide open, well kept and lit. However the road does loop past a pond and gets fairly close to the water in a well hidden spot. Of course that would mean he killed her before they got to Ocoee, which is contrary to what I think most folks beleive, that she took him straight to his house and found trouble after getting there.
I’m no expert, but considering JVH’s interest in Goth and Vampires, as it’s been told, death is ritualistic for them. Secluded Cemeteries can become late night hangouts for them. Perhaps JVH planned to kill her in advance, and buried her with other victims, where he can continue to visit them. Thats assuming JVH is a serial killer, albeit a sloppy one….
Voodoo aside, the most likely scenario, after digesting several weeks of posts seems to point to an ambush. Tracy leaves with Jimmy to pick up weed at his place. Her energy is high, she takes long strides towards the door and motions to him…’Let’s go’. He’s seen mulling about, hands in his pockets, Mr Low Key… and follows her out to the car. They head straight to his place. He tells her to go straight, past Lyle, not to park in front of his house. It’s a tiny one way and they may wake neighbors. They walk to his place, she takes her phone and keys with her. They get inside and he tells he he doesn’t have enough to sell her but can get some nearby. He calls the Huttos to tell them she’s there. They come pick her up and take her over to Wyoming. She takes her keys but leaves her phone….She doesn’t come back. JVH makes the call at 4:30? Does he get to collect the payoff for the set up before he realizes how much evidence there is against him? Seems Hutto played him like a fiddle…IMHO
Hataway is an acomplise to murder. He know what was coming down. He is as guilty as sin.
I meant to say “he new”. His first words out of his mouth when he was arrested to the cops, were ” guess is gonna be hard to get chicks now”. He also gave the finger to the media. The teflon boys gave him the assurance that he wasn’t going to spend too long in the pen, and then comes the attack on the other female (rather not say her name) He was not counting on that one.
Yes Calilady, I agree. It’s 1st degree murder…. and the added charges the other woman brought against him must have come as quite a surprise. I think I read on Blink that JVH commented that he was surprised he had gotten away with it, meaning the attack in Casselberry. Do you think this same group are the ones responsible for the Keese disappearance too?

Looking at this map, I just realized, New Victor Rd (the Ocasio’s house)runs right through the middle of Cullen’s Ct. Did they hear any shots that night? Did somebody follow Tracy home? Or, was she supposed to meet someone at her house later?

Firefly- I mean no disrespect, but you need to understand something. In my work it is the general consensus that there may be 5 psychics in the world that have the strength of thier gift that I would ever, ever pass on a tip from. That is not say sometimes through impressions there arent clues that are investigative tools. I am aware of M A N Y charlatans that have approached Mr. Ocasio as well as other associates of Tracy and it is for that exact reason I am more comfortable NOT passing on such tips. Nothing personal, just necessary.
