Casey/Caylee Anthony Case: Prosecutors Release Anthony Family Depositions
Orlando,
In a highly unusual move, on the eve of what is arguably one of the most anticipated motion hearings to date, we will get a glimpse of exactly what the Anthony’s will be testifying to in the murder trial.
George Interview Here
Lee Interview Here
Cindy Interview Part I Here
Cindy Interview Part II Here
Prosecutors were previously granted a motion to receive the grand jury testimony of George Anthony, as there were discrepencies between the testimony he gave in that proceeding, and his deposition.
Additionally, this Saturday October 17, CBS show 48 Hours Mystery is airing what appears to be the Anthony’s defending their daughter, and her defense team touting the latest “stranger danger” theory.
Blinkoncrime.com will be posting the transcripts as soon as they become available.

I guess I will have to catch up on work over the weekend.
Thanks B.
lol, I know the feeling

Plain and simple………..George and Cindy wouldn’t know the truth if it fell out of the sky, landed on their faces, and started to wiggle

Please elaborate on why you believe it is unusual, (aside from this entire case being unusual, of course). Can you translate the meaning or significance of this, if any, for those of us in the peanut gallery?
Well for starters it is unusual for the prosecution to be able to depose witnesses, but is state law in Florida as I believe Silver may have pointed out previously. Lee has a specific immunity deal, I expect to hear the most from him.
I expect several questions about Dom Casey. I think it will contradict previous testimony or interviews, and I think it was brilliant to release prior to tomorrow’s hearing and Sat “48 Hours Mystery”.
B
WOW , thx Blink!
Blink
Appropriate photo choice, if I may say.

Kathy B has a report up now. Has she scooped others? Love the timing, with Saturday’s show.
Can’t wait to hear this!
My oh my. Blink you are the best!!
How much (if any) of these previous statements will they be able to wriggle out of, or not recall, when they are finally questioned? Will all of Cindy’s mouthings have to finally add up? Are they under obligation (or oath) to say the same things at trial they said at the time of the depositions? What if they “don’t remember”? Will the state be able to threaten them with anything- like obstruction, for instance, if nothing is the same twice?
Just wanted to point out…
In looking at pics of Casey & Jesse…There is one of the couple, on what looks to be the fourth of July, and Casey’s hair is short and blonde…Looks EXACTLY the same as it does in the pics with that “B. SNOW” -I believe? Where Casey is in an apt. on a tan leather couch in a green shirt and undies sittin on his lap…
Anyone notice this??? If this is around the time, it occured to everyone she is pregnant, then Caylee COULD HAVE been that guy in the “other” blonde pic im mentioning!!!!
I don’t see them yet on wftv EyesOpen?
Blink they have some stuff up already now.
I just started to read about “bat phones”…the throw away cell phones
I hope they press charges against the Anthony’s for perjury if nothing else. They all need to be shown they are not above the law. They all really have a annoying arrogance to them!
Hey Spindy you think you might loan Georgetta his kahunas so he can stand up for Caylee for once. They will all be in my prayers until they do what’s right for that precious baby. People like the Anthony’s need prayer, ignorance is bliss! It’s not denial it’s IGNORANCE!
I went out on the enclosed porch and just about got knocked over by the smell of a chloroform like odour– yep!! The old ‘outside’ fridge sprung a leak! Opened the windows right away– sweet, thick odor and it creeps inside too. Not a good environmental situation.
Blink, I agree with our little cheeze-snacker friend (wpg ) that your photo choice is excellent– George ‘above’ and in front of his wife, alluding to his expected special ‘significance’ that surround these releases. The expressions too, say it all.
Peanuts! get your peanuts 1.00 a bag!
Lmao, I needed that, thanks.
B
blink, in reference to Lee, alongside his immunity deal, everything that he says, will it be used come trial time? Also, in your opinion, what information will he possibly reveal?
If shit floats tha scamthonys can never drown.
Lee’s depo gives some answers:
First, Cindy made two calls to Lee on July 3rd evening, first (like the 911 calls) NO mention of Caylee not being at home for a couple weeks– Lee assumed Caylee was at home. Cindy just said she needed to find Casey, hadn’t seen her, and that day, Casey was not responding to her calls or texts.
Second call before Cindy mentioned Caylee was away too– surprised Lee. Lee didn’t call Casey, he went on Myspace, tracked her location ‘to be’ that evening. He then called Lauren and Annie. ANNIE was the one who (lee thinks texted) alerted Casey so she was not at the Dragon Room.
Annie…. dear Annie…
(if CFC’s are like chloroform, it is a bit insidious– creeps in– just a thought– chloroform isn’t ‘fluorinated’ so different, but what if Casey’s car was leaking AC — could that explain any build up of similar hydrocarbons in the trunk? Not sure if the trunk was not over the engine area why it would, and it would dissipate in the time the car was at the tow yard– but just a thot. )
possum, where do we insert coins for our peanuts??? !!! (‘m looking all over this Blink site– not a slot in sight!)
Can someone please tell me what time the hearing starts tomorrow?
9:30am EST
B
Pg 86– Lee changes the odour in car story from his LE interview where he said he had never smelled that before. Now in his depo, he’s saying it was horrible smell, but they keep garbage in the garage so could have been that too.
(right– but he said to LE, he had NEVER smelled that odour before– now he’s saying could be garbage??! He’s never smelled garbage before when his parents keep garbage in the garage normally??)
That’s a major shift in his thinking– towards Cindy’s version of garbage as the reason.
He also specifically stated he left the garage several times for that reason in his first interview. He is so FOS
B
And the Pontiac Sunfire was LEE’S car, HE paid for it, paid it off, Casey now had it but it was ‘his’. (but how is it that it’s in the parents name now– they didn’t pay Lee for it, Casey didn’t pay him for it– strange he had to pay for his sister’s car that Cindy was going to have Casey charged with grand theft auto because it was ‘Cindy’s car….. very confusing)
Just read Part 1 of the Spindy show. She has to be one of the stupidest women in the world. Casey is going to be CONVICTED…The stupid Anthony’s will end up helping her get convicted with their lies lies lies and stupidity. I live karma and its going to come back and not only bite them but chew them up and spit them out. I hope they all end up in adjoining cells
hey possum,
Add a beer to my order of peanuts please . When is it going to be free t shirt night? Game on.
And as far as a circus goes….these clowns scare me.
Wow! I thought Lee was gonna spill the beans and tell the truth! I was wrong! He is attempting to throw Jesse under the bus. Spindy must have told him his allowance is cut off unless he lies for Casey.
26 comment by radiogirl…Cold beer is good even in the nosebleed section. Expensive though. Waiting on the hearing! Should be interesting.
No KIDDING, Blink– FOS!!!
Questions raised about the garage door being left open from the time Cindy and Casey arrived home, (Lee not sure if was or wasn’t), Lee contradicts what Cindy reassured investigators, that CASEY was NEVER left alone (re: missing lanyard issue Cindy ranted about) in the house on night of 15th thru 16th morning.
LEE, on the other hand, said Casey was alone in her room, police with Cindy etc, then police with Casey and not Cindy etc. CASEY WAS LEFT ALONE IN THE GARAGE!! Lee figured a short time, 5 mins maybe. Again– was the garage door OPEN OR SHUT?? hmmm.,.,
And Lee’s statement to police (written) was done with info added in from overhearing police ask Cindy or Casey things, so his statement was NOT about what HE alone knew, but from what he overheard also– he was never taken aside by police.
The order of things for Lee:
1. Spoke with Casey first.
2. Wrote his statement for police
3. Went to Tony’s place (where he stayed for TWO hours, and says Tony lied to him– lied? How would Lee know that with the LITTLE he knew of things? — maybe answers will come as reading continues…)
But one thing– when Lee phoned Tony about going over, he had left the Anthony house, probably from garage (Lee says he probably was just walking out to blow off steam or whatever– ) so he ended up down the street— interesting. And Casey alone with the car and her ‘stuff’ in her car….
ALSO– Lee got to Tony’s, he said Tony said Casey came back in from being outside talking to her mom, she came back in to pick up something, got it from the room, then went out with Cindy. Lee didn’t know about what she might have brought back with her.
Interesting– garage door open, would mean Casey could access her mom’s car and her own car, and whatever she brought from Tony’s place… in the 5 minutes or so she was alone in the garage.
Now, Lee goes on to ask Tony about the smell– he thinks Tony lies about never driving in Casey’s car, not knowing about the smell. Yet until now in the interview, he does not say he asks Casey what that smell is– that he’s never smelled before– right!! And they sit alone together in the garage…. makes no sense at this point in transcript still.
Why was Lee off walking down the road talking to Tony on the phone– what was Lee doing heading down Hopespring. Lee had no problems finding Tony’s place right off the bat either, that late at night, tired etc. No problem going directly there.
What did Casey say to Lee about Tony, what to ask him– did Casey say Tony used the car, had access to it?? Stayed the whole month with Tony?? (those questions Lee asked Tony, and thinks Tony is lying to him– Tony was in Lee’s radar, maybe still is?)
clarification– Lee thought Tony was being straight with him in answering q’s that night– says he knows ‘now’ (‘now’ being the depo date, last July 2009) that Tony ‘flat-out lied’. (of course, Tony did the undercover thing with Lee, so Lee is not so happy with him obviously).
Now Lee gives a slightly, but importantly varied, version of the dumping of the backpack/rifling through Casey’s wallet by Cindy, and a big difference in the whereabouts of the female officer (present while this was happening, or outside– big difference)
Also, Lee’s LE version said that the officer was outside as Cindy was rifling through the wallet and took out money, then credit cards, then as Cindy went to take a white card or paper from the wallet, Lee’s version of last year stated that the officer’s hand moved in to take that white paper/card before Cindy could get it.
(ref– pg 178 ) Lee says he is pretty sure it’s Casey’s DL– but last year, he thought it was maybe an old style DL (IIRC). Lee now also says the LE ‘ASKED’ for this white card/paper or DL whatever it was but last year the officer just went in and took it quickly as Cindy was going through and taking things out.
Geeze, can fill a book with the differences in Lee’s version from last to this year– now Lee says he asked Tony if he packed the bags and said Tony said he did. Last year, to LE, Lee says he assumed that Tony packed the bags because he (Lee) and his sister are not that neat, and they have stuff all over the place, when they pack, it’s not neat (he went on about this to LE last year– how he figured it was Tony, not Casey who packed the bags).
Thanks B, for posting the time – another really early morning for me in Califoria! These people are so cold and distant with each other
and Lee Casey and Cindy usually completely ignored George. I saw the
preview of 48 hours -now they are talking about a “stranger” taking
Caylee!
Not a mention of the $200 approx bucks Cindy took from Casey’s wallet while police out of room, and said ‘this is mine’…
And Lee tossing his notebook with notes in it? Not likely– he doens’t remember now what became of it.
Amy is one of Lee’s big ‘suspects’– one of the worst:
“She, out of all of them, she was probably the worse as far as character person that I could, you know, that I could gather.”
And guess ‘who’ provided the info on Amy and others… next question from Mr. George:
Q: And the information of their alleged drug use came from Dominic Casey?
A: Yes. You know, primarily, yes. Pg 232
Q: Was he able to substantiate that or how did he substantiate that to you to the point that you were comfortable in believing it?
A: Right. I took a lot of it, I just took it at his word, you know, on things that he did. I didn’t ask him to quote sources a lot, you know, as far as that stuff was concerned.
But there was always something that just kind of rubbed me the wrong way about her and about Ricardo and J.P., really all of them, just the way taht they decided to, you know, show their support and, you know, and all that kind of stuff.
It just — it never seemed genuine and it also never seemed like they were really forthcoming with anything Like, they– they thought — it seemed to me like any time I tried to ask them something, they were, like– why the hell would you even ask me something?
Q: Well, you keep– You keep using plurals. Okay?
A: Well, I know. I’m so sorry.
Q: That’s okay.
(I assume Mr. George asked about Amy, then Lee groups her in with Rico and JP and answers about all of them together, vs just one)
Q: Let’s talk about Amy then–
A: Yeah
Q– real quick. Did you actually speak with her?
A: Yes. I’ve spoken with Amy plenty of times on the phone, in person, you know.
Q: Before getting any information from Dominic Casey, what was your– what was your opinion of Amy?
A: She just– she’s out there. I didn’t think that was somebody that my sister would normally be friends with.
Q: Why?
A: My sister doesn’t tend to be friends with people that are fake or that are judgemental of other people, you know, or that are just overly mean or rude. I mean, or may– that there was, like, just this subconscious feeling that just, there’s something just not right about her.
Q: Did you learn through either your investigation or information received from Mr. Casey that Amy came from some money?
A: That– I’m sorry?
Q: That Amy came from some money. That she had money.
A: I– I never had that indication. I–I thought J.P. was the one that had money in his family. [laughing]
Q: So it was your impression of Amy that she was — I think you used the word out there.
A: Yeah.
Q: And that she was fake?
A: Yeah.
Q: All right. Did she in any of the conversations you had with her in your opinion try to lie to you or hide things from you?
A: Yeah.
Q: Such as?
A: The whole situation with, like the check and– and whatever as far as how, you know, she tries– she tried to tell me how that, you know, went down or didn’t go down or whatever. I mean, there was just–I’m trying to remember something specific for you.
But her story would change. Like, if I would ask her something, it’s, like, later she would tell someone– something else– something to someone else or she would say on the news something else or whatever and it was just, like, are you– are you kidding me?
You know, she kept saying that, you know: I’d known Casey for a long time.
Come to find out she knew her for, like, two months, you know. She’s, like, you know: She’s like one of my best friends.
It was like she was trying to tell me this fake perception of, you know, how I should just kind of, I’m one of the good guys, and it just– it never– it never made any sense, any– becuase she’d never– I have Casey’s best interest at heart, and all this stuff, and she never– she didn’t. She was never a friend of my sister.
Q: Based on any information you gathered on your own through conversations with Amy or any information you were given by Dominic Casey, is there any reason for you to think that Amy Huizenga had anything to do with the disappearance of your– of your niece?
A: Aside from just a gut feeling that she–
Q: And is that– is that your gut feeling today?
A: Absolutely. That she knows something that would help answer some kind of question. Absolutely.
————–
Earlier in the depo, Lee had said that although Casey listed Amy as someone he could trust (jail video visit), he decided Amy was not to be trusted. Casey said he could not trust Annie, and Lee decided he could trust Annie.
This is ONE WHACKO FAMILY!!! (Lee said he’s most like his mom– boy he got that right!!)
Poor ol’ Georgie…he dunt ‘member nuth-THIN’. Except, of course. what Caylee was wearing one month before and watching his fave food channel production “Diners and Dives”. Priceless. LOL!
He did remember that on the 16th he and Cindy BOTH had breakfast with Caylee.
__ “Er…George, sorry. We have your new revised script, here.”
__ “Waaaaa…I can’t memorize all this new stuff. Can’t I just blink my eyes…once for yes and twice for no?”
Will either side call him? Complete write off?
Can’t take any more documents tonight. Maybe never.
Lee also asked Dom Casey to look into Jesse and his family. He says, as he sits here today in the depo, that Jesse Grund should be considered a suspect in the disappearance of his niece. Lee stated that is the case “Even moreo than Amy Huizenga, yes.”
Mr. George asks Lee “Tell me why.”
Lee answers on pg. 237 (but he keeps trying to answer in ‘we think… we deemed… we thought…’)
As to ZFG being code for the nanny, or the person who did take CAylee… Lee says “And I was condfident and nailed that down to Jesse, corroborating that with a lot of the tips and leads that we were getting, where they were, you know, where those tips and leads were located, the people that were involved with those tips and leads–
Q: Are you saying that the name of Zenaida Gonzalez– or Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez is code for Jesse Grund?
A: I believe it could be a code for someone; yes. But he’s–
Q: I’m asking you, do you believe that it’s –
A: That it is a code specifically for him? I don’t know that a hundred percent.
….. I mean, it was tips and leads that we got that– that matched the description of the — of Jesse’s mom putting a girl that matched the description of Caylee riding on a plane with her during the time of Caylee’s disappearance to Atlanta, Georgia.
Q: Are you talking about in June or July or–
A: In– June.
(then he goes on– more tips to the family about a Jesse match, vehicle match up in Georgia, with description of a little girl at a gas station– Lee thinks all this adds up to Jesse taking Caylee it seems– spiriting her off when he moved to Athens GA, then what??? Killing her after allowing himself and his mother to be recognized with the baby, then bringing her back when it’s dry enough to the woods???? (oh yeah, after FBI investigated the airport leads and confirmed it was not Caylee– but now a year later, Lee is still ON the lead now with Jesse’s name on it!!!)
Con’t– on pg 240.
———————
Baez’s interjections are ‘interesting’– ‘laughable’ and ‘turning into a gradeschooler here’… nothing legal in his outbursts, he is getting punchy though. pg 267 and prior)
Kleat, I haven’t gotten through but 150 pages or so of George’s depo, but would you suppose, for all of the inconsistencies and contradictions in their statements, that it would be near impossible for any of them to testify without perjuring themselves, regardless of what alleged facts they might state and truths they might swear to be telling?
Just wondering.
Gavi
NOTE:I have been over the tips many times.I have to wonder what is the protocol for confirming the identity of a child.IMO a good confirmation is the tips where an officer looks at the child checks the left arm for a birthmark, then identifies past pictures of the child. There are some I have seen that are like WTH?? Birth certificate and s.s doest verify anything about the identity of a specific child.
p. 285 About Mr. Morgan and his deposition of Lee!!! (excerpts… )
Mr. George’s Q: You gave a deposition, I’m sure you remember, over at Morgan & Morgan.
Lee’s A: Oh, yeah. That was fun, let me tell you.
MR. BAEZ: [Laughing]
MR. George: It’s only slightly more fun reading it as opposed to being there.
Lee: Isn’t it a hoot? Yeah. That guy’s an idiot. Go ahead.
Mr. George’s Q: During the–during the–
MR. BAEZ: I’ll be ordering this transcript.
——————–
(Baez gets in his little jokes, he sure does!! He must think every opposition lawyer’s job is a joke, like this depo– could he be having an attack of giggly nerves every few pages>>???)
JC. The disturbing photo of little Caylee (Exhibit 2) at the end of L’s deposition.
Part of the letter “I” and most of the letter “G” can be seen to the left, as in the pink t-shirt with the BIG Trouble Comes Small.
Something strange about the way the shirt is sitting on Caylee. Is she actually wearing it or is it placed on her in some fashion? Is there some kind of fabric rolled or in a twist under her chin? Is that actually the t-shirt fabric?
Maybe its my overactive imagination, but I don’t like what I am seeing. Was this photo taken in a darkened setting? Comparing it to the video images of the nursing home visit from July 15, and looking here at this Exhibit photo at her little face and length of her bangs, someone please tell me this is not a photo of Caylee that was taken by her mother AFTER the 15th of July. Please.
Confirmed– Cindy told Mr. George in her deposition in July, that ‘she’s not entirely convinced that the reains that were found in December were of Caylee. Lee said “I’m aware of– of her belief or suspicion or, you know, or just not being a hundred percent behind it; yes.”
Mr. George asks Lee:
Q: Do you share that belief?
A: Yes. I do.
———————-
(Is it possible for a family to ‘brainwash’ themselves?)
Hummm … gas cans are significant. Casey had a thing for gas cans. Perhaps she was using the gas to mask the smell of her trunk. I don’t recall, but was the gas can that Amy? purchased for her used for the sole purpose of putting gas in her car? Did Amy witness Casey put gas in her car? Or was it spilled in the trunk? The stain that remains on the trunk liner might be what’s left of Casey attempting to clean the stain up herself, with gasoline, which she may have tried to clean up with something else. That might be why Tony didn’t notice the odor of decomp in her car. It might have smelled more of gasoline? Just speculation.
July 3rd, the infamous ‘July 3rd’ is the same date of the flight to Atlanta and sighting of Caylee by Wanda Weary.
Lee described Mrs. Grund, Jesse’s mother, as fitting the woman’s description for that Wanda Weary tip and lead, and he doesn’t buy that a full investigation was done. But Lee never investigated, nor did he had anyone investigate, Mrs. Grunds whereabouts on July 3rd because Cindy was supposed to follow up on that one.
Casey: ‘she’s close to HOLT’
See pg. 350 Lee’s transcript– he actually says his mom told him about the psychic tip and that a few days earlier, Dom Casey went to check the area– he went and ‘walked it’.
“She said it’s right over here off Element — or, excuse me, Hidden Oaks Elementary and Dominic already checked it out.” (Lee quoting what his mother told him)
So Cindy actually used Hidden Oaks Elementary aka ‘H.O.L.T’– exactly what Casey told Lee in the video interview from Jail– “she’s close to HOLT”.
#33 Kleat. Some kind of malignant synergy is at work with the Anthony family scribes. George also lost his huge notebook on the case (about 176 pages)around the time investigators were taking stuff from the house in Dec.. This accouns for the fact that he just doesn’t know anything or, altenately, doesn’t recall anything. His notes! They’re gone!
Mind you, George is not accusing anybody in LE of stealing his notes!
He is a leetle bit suspicious, though. Well, who wouldn’t be?
On closer look I think the t-shirt is actually folded, laying on top of – - – is that the Winnie the Pooh blanket wrapped or draped around Caylee?
ODG. Was this a staged photo?
It’s clear what they are doing here…. (I have just read George’s depo) — creating their own tv-show crime fantasy even more phantasmagorical than KC’s original Zanny story – a great conspiracy involving Jesse … and/or Tony …… and/or Amy …… and/or Ricardo …… and or …
Just to create doubt! Yes, they do not have to prove any of it, they just have to create doubt.
Can Jesse/Tony/Amy/Ricardo join together and charge the Anthony family with defamation of character, or anything to that effect? Can people like the Anthonys just arbitrarily accuse whomever, to divert attention away from KC?
this is one crazy mixed up, wacked out family. i hope someone gets up the nerve to for once in their lives tell the truth about what happened to caylee. she deserves at least that much, she loved her papa as she called him in one of the videos, george for once stand up to spindy and take up for caylee. she loved you very much,
please give caylee the justice she deserves and tell what you know and tell the truth.spindy is sure not going to.
i thought at first george was going to be the decent one but this is turning out to be right the oposite.
i think it is time for some casey fries, hope they fry casey
i hope casey gets everything she deserves for the way she has done that poor loving, beautiful little girl as well as the rest of the family, they sure have not stood up for caylee at all, it has been about protecting their lieing, murdering daughter.
justice for caylee has somehow got lost in all the circus.
Codes and clues. Does this family ever talk in normal words or sentences? Hey, maybe they’re all CIA and they’re only allowed to use codes and clues in their conversations! It’s really odd that they all think this way, isn’t it?
