Casey/Caylee Anthony Case: Prosecutors Release Anthony Family Depositions
Orlando,
In a highly unusual move, on the eve of what is arguably one of the most anticipated motion hearings to date, we will get a glimpse of exactly what the Anthony’s will be testifying to in the murder trial.
George Interview Here
Lee Interview Here
Cindy Interview Part I Here
Cindy Interview Part II Here
Prosecutors were previously granted a motion to receive the grand jury testimony of George Anthony, as there were discrepencies between the testimony he gave in that proceeding, and his deposition.
Additionally, this Saturday October 17, CBS show 48 Hours Mystery is airing what appears to be the Anthony’s defending their daughter, and her defense team touting the latest “stranger danger” theory.
Blinkoncrime.com will be posting the transcripts as soon as they become available.

O.K BLINK..I ADMIT I AM WATHCING 48 HOURS ..
I THINK WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO HAVE A CAT FIGHT OVER “YOUR BOYFRIEND J.M” —CUZ , I AM EQUALLY IN LOVE WITH HIM AFTER HE KICKED A$$ ON 48 HOURS!!!..THANKS GOD, THAT HE WAS ONE OF THE VOICES OF REASON ( ALONG WITH PAM BONDI)..CINDY AND GEORGE MUST BE SO PI$$ED THAT ZENAIADA GOT SOME QUALITY AIR TIME!! WAY TO GO M&M!.
I DON’T THINK THE EVIL ANTHONY’S ARE GOING TO BE SO DELIGHTED WITH THE FINISHED PRODUCT IN THAT IT WAS NOT ALL ABOUT CASEY’S IMAGAINARY INNOCENCE…. LOL IVOIRE.
Boycotting frenzy tonight … count me in too, Blink, Todd and everyone else. I refuse to watch CBS period … I’d rather poke pins in my eyes than to watch yet another Scamthony “Made for Money … er, I mean TV” series composed of worthless drivel. Instead, I’m blogging with the Blinksters! You rule, Blink!

Blink, you got that right.
Blink. I am curious. In what order did you read the Anthony depositions? Any special order for any reason? Did you read them in the order taken or did it matter?
Lol. Kleat, your such a smartie. Great Question.
I read Lee first, skipping prob the first 50 pgs, then went back.
I read Cindy first 100, and had to stop.
I read George and the rest of Cindy simultaneously.
I reviewed George FBI and 7/24 OCSO beforehand. I knew what I would find. He is not a complex guy.
B
I watched it. It was fine. Makes you feel bad for the Anthony’s. They’re just human. Very sad, very tragic, very poignant all the way around.
Respectfully Suz, that was the point, no?
B
Just got through watching a travesty………..BOZO,BADEN,and MACLOOZER as well as Cindy and George and Conway poured their hearts out in a last ditch effort to prove Casey’s innocent……I have to side with Morgan….when its all said and done you can connect the dots they will spell GUILTY!
Love your post in #241 Blink. You sure know how to make a fellow Blinker feel good.
I watched the 48 Hours show. Same ole, same ole — as they say. Cindy managed to eke out a few tears. Everyone else in the world is lying. Casey Anthony is innocent. Cindy only wants the truth.
No mention of the check fraud charges, no clips of her at the bank or shopping at Target, or renting videos with Tony the same day Caylee went missing. As we all suspected, it was a lot of fluff. Except for a few times that they talked about some of the evidence against Casey, for the most part it was a George and Cindy pity party. It was totally slanted so that the viewing audience would feel sorry for the grieving grandparents. They did show several new videos and pics of Caylee — cha ching $$$$$$$.
I understand why the SA’s office doesn’t comment, but it sure would be nice to see them say something once in a while. The general public needs to hear the voice of reason occasionally.
#240 Comment by Steadychick You said people at WS are talking about the tooth. What is WS? If you dont mind me asking…anyone else know?
Casey said to Cindy on video, ‘I’m a lot like you’ (paraphrasing). There have been other family comments early on, that Casey is a lot like Cindy, ‘the apple… falls’ theory etc. Yet, Lee (and George agreed) stated to the state in depo, that Casey was most like her dad, and he was most like his mother.
Just an observation.
After watching 48 hrs. it backfired on The Anthony’s and the defense team big time. It showed how Cindy and George but especially Cindy is on a campaign to taint the jury pool. They showed the pics of Casey out partying after Caylee “went Missing”, pictures don’t lie. The defense team answered no serious questions, actually all looked very foolish. Jesse Grund told his story, so did Zenaida and her atty. Cindy paused when she was asked if she was on this show for justice for Caylee or justice for Casey…They showed part of the depo with Zenaida’s lawyers when Cindy not only was really combative but smirked and had a really scary look in her eyes. When Cindy was asked by 48 hrs. how her relationship was with Casey she clearly lied because they brought up how many people said Casey din’t get along with Cindy and had many fights over Caylee. Jesse told 48hrs. that Lee explained about the fight before Casey left with Caylee and how Cindy strangled Casey over stolen money. Truth always comes out, and when you lie or cover-up it backfires which it did on this show! I pray for Caylee to have justice and with each passing day it is getting closer…Casey who sits behind bars waiting for trial is where she belongs…
suz– it’s called ‘mitigation’ for the penalty phase– they are preparing NOW for that. If the jury can sympathize with the family as ‘victims’, they can feel that to give a dp, would harm those victims even more, vs help.
Was John Morgan the ONLY one to represent the other side of the coin?
# 240_Steadychick_ why does the atate ask her if she recognizes the handwriting though? I think that whatever the state was questioning Cindy about might not have been released. And if there was a tooth, it could have been Casey’s or Lee’s, who knows? If not, there could be trouble.
# 237_Mariann_ So I guess it just added up to nonsense rambling?
Anyway, I watched the 48 hours mystery. It was kind of a puff piece that looked like it could have been scrapped together in less than a week. They used sound bites, nothing really in depth at all. I guess it wasn’t one sided. But it wasn’t very good either. They patched together old videos . The ran the video of protesters a few times. There was a new video of Caylee (I guess) jumping up and down in a pool, nothing else new on her that I could spot (so at this point we all know that was one pricey little video).
Anyway, the show was kind of crappy, and limited in scope even though it wasn’t propaganda. The defense handled themselves well in my opinion, other than completely dismissing the option of an accidental death, which I think could be a mistake. Of course they will argue evidence and the tape with the mystery DNA. Brad Conway, and the Anthony’s said that they were “looking for the truth”. Lord knows in their case, they’d have to cease speaking to and looking at each other (and the talking going on in their own heads) to accomplish that. Sorry for the snark there. Anyway, Cindy and George had their quiet personas on. They showed Caylee’s death certificate; no mention of a still living Caylee on the show.
They had a prosecutor from a nearby county ‘present’ the state side, but again, not in depth. They showed a clip of Morgan’s depos where the Anthonys were angry. That’s all I can think of for now.
I can’t believe Rodriguez said she went through investigating the story for months. CBS should have waited until the trial was over, it would have made a better program.
Hi Blink,
In your response to Todd post#241. I am sensing a check mate. Is that sort of what you are saying?
Cindy saying ‘feel sorry for me’ has been an upfront comment by her often in interviews, from the earliest dates.
Paraphrasing– think it’s not far off quoting–
‘I didn’t eat since yesterday at noon….”
” I had some Instant Breakfast, that’s all I can handle”
“I’ve been running on 4 hrs sleep a night… go easy on me” (Greta interview– Cindy travelled to somewhere during that– maybe on a Larry King trip) And a further comment about her ability to keep talking or answering questions because of her ‘condition’– “if you want me to collapse…” type comment.
And then there’s George’s emotional break-down.
This is all about penalty phase, maybe even some jurors won’t want to find a daughter guilty of the death of her child, when the loving grandparents will only be hurt more to lose both girls.
Barb, you posted a better more detailed version of what went on in the show. Glad you did. I am tired and I guess the show was boring for me, so I didn’t remember as much…nothing new really.
Kleat
Pam Bondi?? who is a prosecutor in Fl was on.
I had a feeling that something significant would be said by someone during the airing of this program and I think that was a statement by Brad Conway. Not exact quote maybe but ” the Anthony’s just want the truth, but it’s going to be very difficult when we get there.” I think this speaks volumes about what the Anthony’s privately believe. Near the end however they are asked if they believe Casey will be aquitted and Cindy’s response is “Yes, if they can get a jury to really listen to the evidence.” Thus when Casey is found guilty their public stance will be the jury was not impartial even though privately they know she is guilty.

HEY BLINK.. PLEASE DOWNLOAD AND CAPTURE THESE WEIRD-O PERSONAL JOY WRAY VIDEOS THAT SHE POSTED ON YOUTUBE (BECAUSE I GUARANTEE THAT THE SECOND BOZO KNOWS THESE WERE POSTED BY HER, THEY WILL BE YANKED)…
THE S.A. WILL NEED THESE IF SHE BECOMES THE DUH-FENSES “STAR WITNESS”…. IVOIRE
@268-Morgyn
I think Conway may want to get them to the truth. The Anthonys only want truth that involves Casey not being the perp. But the cover-ups and inconsistencies of their own, only serve to make Casey look more guilty.
Oh and yes, the defense is going to say someone else searched for chloroform.
Pam Bondi, prosecutor from Tampa, was also on. She was good.
BTW,Cindy has a job now. Right at the end of the program, they showed a little girl who “Cindy watches”. She spends a lot of time playing in Caylee’s room!! A woman has actually hired Cindy to babysit her daughter. I’m speechless.
I wonder if the missing dot in the tat can be used to impeach her with “guilty knowledge”—even if she told the dude to leave the dot off—- cuz couldn’t she just say, “Oh, I left that blank because Caylee was missing, and I was only going to fill it in once she was safely returned.”?
STAR WITNESS–JOY WRAY…

Oh , one thing the show did seem slanted about was the existence of Zanny.
They made it sound as though the police looked at the apartments, drove around with Casey to look for her, but no further. They did mention that Cindy never met Zanny, but they never mentioned that NO ONE else met her and that there were 2 versions of the story and no paper trail what so ever.
suz
I respect your feelings and position.
I have not watched 48 Hours. I personally made the decision not to. I have no sympathy for any of the 3 A’s, especially big brother. JMO, as time goes on, the number of people who do have sympathy is going to dwindle. Whether any of the 3 A’s get charges laid against them remains to be seen, but IMO they deserve to.
Kleat
IMO the released State depositions filled the other side of the coin quite nicely.
As to feeling sorry for the Anthonys, I feel sorry that they lost their grand daughter. I never agreed with the protesters and thought that they were idiots. Other than that, they brought a lot on themselves.
Enough said.
Morgyn, yes, we’ve heard Brad say that and how difficult or long a road it will be ‘to get there’. It’s been over a year already. They can’t be protected from the truth forever, can it be healthy to live in a fantasy bubble for as long as ‘strategy’ dictates, or is there a time to take care of themselves and not be consumed and destroyed. (if it’s really that serious with them– won’t it be so much harder later, to come down from the fantasy/lie they live even that they DO know it’s a ‘lie’– and of course, they DO know.)
George also said ‘I just want the truth’ after he burst in to cause a wreck of Mark NeJame’s press conference with Tim MIller– he did NOT want the truth, he accepts what he HAS to believe, and that’s believing the LIE’ to help Casey.
What the Anthony’s are doing seems very unhealthy for them and what they are asking of Lee, is unfair and unhealthy for him. And it’s perpetuating the lie for money and buying time for the golden goose and they don’t seem to care if the goose dies, as long as it’s later than sooner.
wsh, agreed

WS is Websleuth’s … another crime blog. I’m a member there but haven’t blogged there in almost a year now. A decent site for information to some degree, but they don’t have the credibility like they used to, IMO. And definitely like Blink! {;)
Links to my site are banned there, but discussion of my original content is not, lol, you do the math.
B
wpg– good to hear.
Cindy babysits & lets the child play in the former bedroom of Caylee’s now made into a morbid shrine of sorts. Someone must really hate their kid imo.
Blink …
Does the surprise you mentioned earlier regarding the State’s strict strategy that will knock the duh-fense over have anything to do with a specific MS page dated June 16th and ending on Oct14th?
No, I am quite sure that was being tracked. LE had every IP very early.
B
Sorry Blink … can’t type worth doo-doo tonight … I forgot the ever-so-important word in my last post, so humbly sorry … was supposed to read, “A decent site for information to some degree, but they don’t have the credibility like they used to, IMO. And definitely NOT like Blink! {;)

Websleuth’s has nothing on you, Blink! They’re just jealous of your sleuthing prowess, {;)
I lost respect for WS a long time ago when a few friends of mine were banned for ridiculous reasons when simply questioning another blogger respectfully on an issue for which my friends were able to document with facts, and yet the other blogger who was grandstanding and mincing data for her own purposes and presenting them as facts, was given a complete pass by well … I’m sure you know who so I won’t go there.
Anyway … I have followed your blog from pretty much the beginning of this case, although I’ve only recently began to post here and your insight and research skills never cease to amaze me. As a result, I’m respectfully hooked and plan to stay … if that is, I may be so humbly allowed {:)
TY, I want to move past this subject after this post, I have been sent double digits of screenshots for some banned just for asking why they could not post a link to here. There is actual images from her watermarked on there that there program does not pick up that are embedded, lol..
Anyone with any opinion is welcome here, as long as it is done respectfully and hopefully progresses a dialog in the case.
Welcome.
B
“Everybody talkin’ to their pockets…” Quote from Leonard Cohen lyrics.
We should ‘officially ban’ links to Blink’s site here too!
20 minutes to Judge Wappner– errr– 48 hrs (aka time to turn TV off)
IVORIE– that’s interesting– ‘a fare’ trial for Casey?? Hmmm… that like juror’s filing in to their seats passed a toll booth?!
JW won’t be called by the defense, that whole EQUUSearch defense idea could just be a ploy, if they are basing ANYTHING on JW.
Love that little video– advertising herself now as a possible witness! Now that will go over well with the court!
Did you notice the final photo of Caylee PS’s to include an Angel ‘wing’ (singular wing) on Caylee’s LEFT shoulder. Not anything JW could think of, but interesting coincidence with the left shoulder of Tat Mom.
(REMEMBER– Joy Wray said her daughter had become close to George, shared photos, etc. BUT, she qualified this with the statement that she never let her daughter alone with George– ‘I didn’t want her to go missing too’ (paraphrasing but believe it’s very close to her statement in her LE interview transcript)
The defense can NOT be so stupid to pin their hopes on a JW.
Brad Conway said of his clients, that this is a family that isn’t able to work because of the media coverage.
Same video clip from WESH, records Judge Strickland commenting to defense Baez, that ‘posturing’ (aka the defense claim of someone else putting body in woods) can get them into trouble.
That’s what the defense is doing ‘posturing’ with this (to steal Lee’s newly coined depo word) ‘idiocracy’.
http://www.wesh.com/news/21313340/detail.html
see recent video– CA appears in Court
Re: George’s disbelief statement re: Caylee not the one they mourned and cremated– didn’t the defense have independent DNA testing done?
Yes, allegedly. Good Point, but not from her remains. In theory, they would need to compare the 2 results.
B
Is there a first part of Friday’s hearing? Were there technical difficulties, or did some of the early recording air? (seems wesh did have some clips included in their last story, that were not from the ‘uncut’ version or ‘raw’ versions we see on wesh or wftv.
Source for the tape?
I think CBS handled them ever so gently tonight in pointing out the facts (on the sly) that the Anthony’s are liars, doubletalkers and completely out of their mind. Crying over the death certificate, WTH?
You said Caylee isn’t dead. It was funny to watch them look like fools in front of millions of people. Way to go Ants! Do they really think we believe them? Crazy!
Handwriting on Right Page
I haven’t read C’s deposition, but I read everyone’s comments here about exhibit #22 and the “Cindy, no, no, no.” and “zip it” remarks by JB.
Yeah, so looking at the exhibit #22, and the A’s written statements from July 15, 2008, that is Miss A’s on the left.
Besides some of the quirks in the handwriting, a couple of things stood out on the right page:
1. The “&” in Mom & Baby – - and 2. just the wording “Mom & Baby”.
Why not Casey & Caylee? Who would write it out in kind of a matter of fact, somewhat impersonal yet identifying way? Reminds me of a police officer or a detective official. Oooops. I meant “retired” police officer or “retired” detective. That style and usage of the “&” in GA’s written statement is quite similar (IMO) to exhibit #22′s right page.
Looking at exhibit #34, from C’s deposition, it’s a list of “Items to get returned” written by GA. The handwriting of it to to the right page of exhibit #22 looks quite similar (IMO).
Gosh, does the “zip it” remark refer to “work product”?
The 2 pages of exhibit #22 look like they may have been pulled from the “same” scribbler. The right page appears to be shortened on the bottom – - folded under, or “sliced off”, perhaps.
Blink, I did go and watch the tv version tonight, and I don’t think it’s a big plus for the defense, yes it’s softened the Anthony’s, but can they ‘maintain’– doubtful.
This isn’t why I’m posting– I noticed something that struck me as peculiar and perhaps nothing, perhaps very telling.
First, getting this fact out of the way– the most favourite place for Caylee out in the yard was her playhouse.
But George and Cindy were seen kneeling out in that section of the yard, then another clip showed them placing a little paper note memorial to Caylee, not at the playhouse itself, but on a piece of ground that appeared to have wood chips there, or right nearby.
Why choose this spot, and not the playhouse that she loved so much– just why that spot. Did they give those woodchips area some special significance?
It just seems strange to put a note there. Cindy doesn’t do much without thinking and processing things first, so it may be nothing at all, just a ‘neutral’ spot.
The show did show two sides of Cindy though, not so much two sides of George. The defense could be drawing too much attention to itself though.
#263/#240 Missing Diary Pages Perhaps? I know wishful thinking
I taped 48 Hours and watched it when I could advance without the commercials. Really very little time to give much to either side. A lot of details were left out. I was expecting an Anthony love fest, but I was surprised that it was far more balanced than I expected with the Tampa prosecutor, Jesse Grund and Mr. Morgan commenting throughout. Mr. Morgan had all the best lines. He’s a caution!
BTW, Rodriguez did question Cindy and Geo. about the nanny and whether they had ever met her. Cindy gave one of her usual idiot replies: “No, but there’s a lot of people I haven’t met.” No further questions by the interviewer after that little bon mot..
Just once shouldn’t a newsperson ask,”She’s your beloved granddaughter whom you loved and treasured and who lived in your home. Wouldn’t you have wanted to know how to reach her nanny in an emergency?” The level of national reporting on this case is appalling.
Didn’t appreciate CBS showing us a love scene on the patio between Cindy and Jo-Jo. That, too, was appalling!
I would really appreciate if just one flipping reporter took the time to review their discovery, review it against sworn accounts and ask the glaring questions. Lemme At Em.
B
# 212 Blink. Yep, I hear ya’ about the Emp and his missing wardrobe. Never mind; Jose is spreading his imaginary peacock feathers out amongst the hoi polioi. What is the old saying? He’s a legend in his own mind. Right now, riding high with the attention. It’s hard to watch. There’s that awful smirk.
#224 Westside. We know that Casey evidently fooled Cindy and maybe George with her work-related E-Mails. I swing to and fro about what those two gullibles really believed and what Cindy knew was fiction and went along with it, anyway. That whole Tampa/Jacksonville picaresque tale was so bizarre…and Cindy seemed to be so enthralled with it even when she knew it was a lie. She clung to it even when the FBI guys reminded her that it was all fiction. “Yeah, I know it’s all a lie, but…still…” But still?
So…yes, I am sure Casey could work quite handily with all sorts of reports and letters from school. On one site, last year, a poster declared that she knew a teacher from Colonial who had taught Casey and who called Cindy a “helicopter” parent, always at school and always hovering. Don’t know if there was any truth in the poster, or the teacher and her comments. I can see Cindy in that role, though — in which case, Cindy would have known what Casey was up to at school and would have been in up to her elbows protecting Casey from any fallout. Too much in this case just doesn’t fall into line.
#228 Muse. Not only do I agree with your scenario about Cindy, but I think if she hadn’t called in the cops before she learned what darling daughter had been up to, we would never have heard that Caylee was missing. I shudder at the thought of stories Cindy Inc. could have woven to explain Caylee’s absence … after the initial family “regrouping”.
#265 Kleat. Cindy threatened to cave in when she thought GVS might ask her some “stupid” questions to ask her during the TV tour of the house. Stupid question like “Why didn’t your daughter report Caylee missing?”
Greta went along with Cindy, natch, and let the interview flounder. Instead, the duo inspected the obscene number of stuffed animals in the room; since Greta always seems to be smirking, it was hard to judge her evaluation of Cindy’s threatened prostration.
I think most have surmised that pretending imminent collapse of one kind or another is how Cindy controls a lot of things in her life, and people, of course. ( Wonder how that worked out for her in her professional life.) Huzzahs to LDB for getting those Cindy vapors well under control before the the room had to be evacuated!
“discussion of my original content is not, lol, you do the math”.
B
It would seem that WS is not the only site where that goes on without due credit to the originator.
That is true, I have had it happen elsewhere.
B
FIGHT:
Does anyone remember if there was direct testimony, from Lee to investigators, regarding the knock down fight? I believe that the neighbor made a statement to that affect? I don’t remember Lee saying that to LE., (only Padilla and Jesse Grund getting this second hand and relaying it).
THE UNTOLD STORY OF CAYLEE ANTHONY:
The title was really a misnomer. All together, as I believe Kleat said, it was meant to serve as a pity party for Cindy and George Anthony. And truly, they are to be pitied. It was pretty neutral on Casey and didn’t bring anything new on Caylee. It should have had a title referencing what the Anthonys have gone through.
As an aside, I really don’t understand some reaction to the fact that Brad Conway received $3K for working out the deal. It’s a pittance, and he is doing a job, so he deserves to be paid. He set up a show that he felt intended to be sympathetic to the Anthonys. Agree, or not, he was doing what a defense lawyer does.
Except that amount is the standard 4% agent fee, not a retainer. He is doing what he thinks is his job, he is respected by the SA office and I found him to be respectful of them, while I dont agree at all with them making a living off their dead granddaughter, I dont fault him for representing them. He does not share their sentiments in many, many areas.
B
#279-Blink I don’t understand this at all, although I came into this story later than some others. Is it a territorial issue with WS? Why won’t they link to your site?
Yep. Exactly. I called Tricia Griffith, the owner, out on some of the deceptive practices going on there, the rest is history. She makes a living from her site, I do not, and when I would post a new original piece, and someone would post a link to it, they would leave her site and read here, which does not help her stats for ad positioning. All of which I knew nothing about when I started this site with the owner of Scared Monkeys 9 months ago.
I just wanted to hopefully inspire people to respond to calls for advocacy and give victims and their families a voice.
Please dont give it any energy, I have made many friends from that site, and a few still post there, not worth your time friend.
B
Is this a self -promo, a hoax or a reasonable doubt minion?
http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/entertainment_tv_tvblog/2009/10/casey-anthony-tell-us-what-you-think-of-48-hours-mystery.html#comments
KNBC Channel 4 News Reporter Grace Lee saw Caylee Marie Anthony at a Christmas Pageant on December 18, 2008. This is a WEEK after she was recovered from a ditch. I have seen this very same video tape and she (Caylee) is VERY MUCH ALIVE! State Attorney Lawson Lamar has screwed up again! You can’t charge Casey Anthony with the murder of her daughter if Caylee is alive. Caylee was kidnapped by a woman with two prior convictions for child kidnapping! Why can’t Florida keep these kidnappers locked up? Her M.O. hasn’t changed either. She is still stealing ID’s to cover up her own involvement and identity in the crimes against children. You should stop listening to Nancy “Fast and Loose with the Truth” Grace! She is a disgrace to journalism and to the law. She was fired as a prosecutor for having little to no evidence to back up her claims. Why was the Alanta, Georgia Police Department at the Atlanta Airport if Casey Anthony murdered her daughter? Why were they looking up Airline tickets to California if they were so certain Casey Anthony was guilty? Could it be that you have screwed up again?! Florida has the biggest backlog of unsolved felonies in the country! I have just solved the STILL UNSOLVED MURDER of JENNIFER RENEE ODOM. The Police are still looking for her HOOTERS jacket, A JACKET THAT NEVER EVEN EXISTED IN THE FIRST PLACE! One of the many reasons the murder was NEVER solved in over fifteen years!
