Casey/Caylee Anthony Case: Prosecutors Release Anthony Family Depositions

Orlando, FL– In the latest bombshell in the case against Casey Anthony, late this afternoon prosecutors released the depositions of Anthony family members George, Cindy and Lee.

AnthonysCourt51909

In a highly unusual move, on the eve of what is arguably one of the most anticipated motion hearings to date, we will get a glimpse of exactly what the Anthony’s will be testifying to in the murder trial.

 George Interview Here

Lee Interview Here

Cindy Interview Part I Here

Cindy Interview Part II Here

Prosecutors were previously granted a motion to receive the grand jury testimony of George Anthony, as there were discrepencies between the testimony he gave in that proceeding, and his deposition.

Additionally, this Saturday October 17, CBS show 48 Hours Mystery is airing what appears to be the Anthony’s defending their daughter, and her defense team touting the latest “stranger danger” theory.

Blinkoncrime.com will be posting the transcripts as soon as they become available.

Blink, to your comment about John Morgan having another client or 2, yes there are other people who are targeted because of the Anthony’s ‘gut feelings’ and they have to live under someone’s watchful eye, like the less than competent and ethical, proven liar, Dominic Casey of D&A Investigations.

Might be a fully fledged ‘Class Action’ before all this is over!!! ;)

gloriadelamanana- “Missing Diary Pages Perhaps? I know wishful thinking”

Did Cindy read Casey’s diary on July 3rd looking for clues since she was having so much trouble getting ahold of her? Did she find something that set off alarm bells? Is that when the diary pages went ‘missing’? Totally makes sense.

Blink, hope you’re having a nice Sunday

Has there been any response on defense’s September 17 “Motion for Protective Order” regarding attorney/client jail meetings? ;) …to immediately stop all forms of monitoring etc.; … to destroy all video and/or tapes, reports, etc. of all past attorney/client meetings.

I watched last night too. I did notice a few things that the Anthonys finally agree to..

    She is a liar,
    She is a theif,
We want to know the truth.
And when asked to CA what happens if it points to Casey, Cindy said…then I will have my answers. She didn’t flinch on that answer, she didn’t tiptoe around it, she point blank said, “then I will have my answers”

    re: Society Entertainment

CA was asked by LDB if she could identify the people with her daughter in a photo taken at Fusion, which prompted CA to bring up the name Society Entertainment, which LDB questioned “Society Entertainment?” CA said something about according to Dominic that this company has a corporate account or lease of 2 or 3 apartments at Sawgrass Apartments. Sorry for the delay- evidentally when they posted the depo of Cindy they had left out some pages and now the document is complete. Hope that made sense. PS.. you’re awesome Blink. Kleat- thanks for your break downs of the depos. Like I said- reading them too much makes my arms go numb LOL I want to give them a little smacky smacky and say “WAKE UP”. They were too lazy to discipline and they created monsters.

    326 suzeeB

forgot about that– then why would they question his findings? They seem to want Caylee to come home so bad that they will believe any conspiracy theory out there.

If anyone has extra time to read a good book- instead of depo’s, you should check out a new book called The Franklin Scandal by Nick Bryant (library’s has it). Real story! I live in Omaha and this did happen and continues to happen- Holloway

  8. Amanda850 says:

Just on thought observation about the CBS thing (I just watched it online)… Cindy at one point in the interview said (not verbatim, but), “What kind of travesty would it be if Caylee’s mother was wrongly convicted…”

That was another telling statement, IMO, of the “invisible daughter” syndrome someone else posted earlier. Why wouldn’t Cindy just say “Casey” instead of “Caylee’s mother”? One reason could be to elicit an emotional response from the viewers; another could be just a view of how unimportant Casey is in relation to Caylee, in her mind. Not that focus on Caylee is not the most important, but to someone like Casey who needs to be “number one”, this continued attitude of being second-best to Caylee just might prove to further concrete a motive for murder.

  9. Kleat says:

bluewillow, it also makes sense that Casey could have ripped out ‘the past’ as well, and the pages we see are a ‘new beginning’. But we don’t know what was in her mind, from just that photo.

  10. Kleat says:

Muse, excellent lesson, in that little saying. They have decided to ‘believe’, said it often enough, it becomes their liettle reality scenario.

  12. MsEnscene says:

    # 349 Kleat, I thought all the gas can hoopla by George was a cover up for the fact that Casey was stealing gas from Cindy and George on a regular basis and George was sick of it. He wanted LE to do something about it, investigate the thefts and discover that the culprit was Casey. Cindy wouldn’t let George do anything about any of Casey’s thievery, but maybe LE could scare her. And if George threw in tales of other gas robberies in the neighborhood…well, he wouldn’t sound so petty about reporting his. Just my take.

Recall that, according to Geo. in earlier interviews, Casey had pocketed the $4400 would-be deposit money (from George selling a car)and when George was suspicious of the deposit slip Casey forged, he confronted her. She then confessed that she had been held up at gunpoint and the $4400 cash was actually stolen from her by a bandito while she “worked” at Sports Authority. I don’t remember all the details because you know how George/Lee/ Cindy tell a story.

George went down to the store to find out about the whole deposit/robbery incident. He found out that Casey had never worked there. When he told Cindy, she told him to MYOB, to stop playing detective and to let her handle Casey. He must have been fit to be tied. Casey walks free, again!

How much of this is true? Don’t know. Geo was angry with Casey, though, and sice Cindy had sent his cojones to the cleaners, George could not take any action directly against Casey. Ah, but LE might succeed in scaring her and taking the punishment out of Geo’s hands.
The Anthonys had a record of calling in LE for different domestic matters. As Mr. Morgan commented on CBS last night, “The Anthony home
was a regular Mt. Vesuvius!” Ha.

What I never understood is why George gave Casey money to deposit in the first place. With her track record? As usual with this family’s interactions, nothing quite fits because they cannot tell the truth about their daughter. They all have secrets about themselves that they don’t want out there, also. Timelines are a problem with them, too. And with me on this case.

  13. Kleat says:

Part of the ‘Joy Wray in the media’ timeline:

December 10, 2008– ONE day before Caylee’s remains were found, article and photo about Joy Wray’s participation in the Caylee search and her beliefs.

November 11, 2008, the photo of JW was taken, just a few days before the November PI search of those woods.

    http://www.bostonherald.com/news/national/south/view.bg?articleid=1138140

What is of interest about JW, is the connection to George and to Cindy Anthony in the timeline of events– her ‘role’ apparently has developed somehow for some reason, and I don’t believe it’s all JW’s doing, she’s been of some use to certain players agenda, it seems.

She’s not going away from her own YouTube promo’s of herself as the infamous ‘witness’!! She might just be working without a script now… cut loose to do her thing.

    A couple of other thoughts:

    DEFENSE STRATEGY

I thought that the defense looked more reasonable than usual , but it could also be due to time constraints, the less they say, the better. However, as discussed before, they shouldn’t be arguing that the duct tape was NOT over Caylee’s mouth, and that SOMEONE ELSE killed her, simultaneously. That makes no sense. Like Silver said, are they defending Casey and Zanny at the same time?

    TV APPEARANCES BY CLIENTS

I caught Mickey Sherman on TV one night, briefly on HLN, I forget which show. I have to admit that I get a kick out of him. He’s been on Nancy Grace and basically laughs when she is going nuts screaming, and that’s probably why.(not that I can take that show for longer than 3 minutes). Anyway, they were discussing Misty Cummings and her fiasco of an interview on the Today show, for which apparently, her lawyer resigned. Mickey said he always tells his clients to stay off TV. Paraphrase, they always think that they are smarter than the lawyers, but always look worse or stupid for having done that.

If only the Anthonys had listened to Mark NeJame, they wouldn’t be in this shit storm that they created against themselves. Does anyone wonder if deep down subconsciously they are trying to get Casey convicted, but at the same time trying to keep her off of death row? They have been succeeding in making her look more guilty than any other source.

    48 HOURS IN A NUTSHELL:

The 48 hours program was nothing less than lazy-slapped-together- sound-bite reporting, utilizing old video and relying heavily on the ‘exclusive’ interview with the Anthonys rather than investigative journalism. The people who did the most work were the editing and post production crew. I guess they have a budget crunch and can’t afford research(snark) . I believe that is more the reason for the results of the program rather than having any particular bent or sense of advocacy for the Anthonys. I’m curious to see if part two will include participation by the Anthonys.

The Anthony’s couldn’t be a better example of seeing this manifest in the worst possible way.
    ************************************************************

Wow…excellent post, fits the Anthony’s to a T. Someone should send them your prophecy. Would it make them see the light..motivate them to be honest? No, but it gave me chills because it’s coming into fruition for this mean spirited, psychopathic, narcissistic, self destructive family. I feel not one iota of sympathy for the Anthonys.

I could forgive everything else but their attempts to frame others & destroy innocent lives to get Casey off. That I can’t accept or rationalize. They could watch Zanaida or Jesse Grund take the rap for the murder, rot in jail or get the needle instead of Casey, knowing she did it. No denial….they absolutely know she’s guilty.. read their faces..body language it’s right there for all to see.

They’ve tried their damn best to frame others but it hasn’t worked. I think they’ll try again…& again until they think something sticks. It won’t but they could send an innocent person to prison & sleep well the rest of their lives…I know it & hate their very existence for it. They are subhuman in my opinion & not worth the air & space they take up.

Lately Lee’s been trying to distance himself from the rest. But Mr. Giggles laughed at countless inappropriate times discussing Caylee’s death, told bald face lies under oath. Nah, don’t feel sorry for him either. They’ll all burn imo, so enjoy the blood money now Anthony’s…because you won’t be able to take it with you in the pits of hell.

I posted about the invisible daughter. I’m beginning to think that part of the motivation for all of the media appearances has been driven by 1. guilt; they know, in hindsight, that they didn’t pay enough attention to Casey, 2. They don’t want to be seen as # 1 , so they want to present as the ever self-sacrificing parents now, 3. they really don’t want their daughter to be put to death, regardless of the complicated dysfunctional family dynamic, they love her.

At the same time, their expressions and statements belie what they are really feeling below, and I believe that it is contempt for Casey. Sometimes you can catch a hint of it. Other times, it is directed outward, (but no longer at Casey).

  20. Gina says:

One more thing Maggie Rodriguez is a sad excuse for a ‘reporter’ since her first statement on the ’48 Hour Mystery’ was a ‘mistruth’ or was it just lazy, bad reporting? Casey didn’t wait 31 days to call police & report Caylee missing. Casey never called 911 Cindy did. Casey had no intention of ever reporting Caylee missing. What did Casey think would happen? Who knows, in her sick mind maybe she hoped everyone would forget about Caylee’s existence & pay all of the attention to her once again??

But it was such a glaring error on the part of CBS’s ’48 Hr. Mystery’ show & ‘reporter’ Maggie Rodriguez. Does the woman know at least as much about the case as most of the commentors here at Blink? Maybe she should come here & educate herself..pathetic. OK feel better now need a long break from this case again…take care.

  21. Barb says:

I think Mr. Conway’s remark last night about the Anthony’s not liking the truth when they find out was really telling… Many people picked up on Conway’s remark. In fact it is very transparent when The Anthony’s go on any TV show or speak to the media it is never really about Caylee, it’s about their mission to protect Casey at any cost, lie, obstruct justice…It backfires every time on them, people are smart they see through it, “no coaching” in the world can make someone look sincere with ulterior motives. If perhaps they stayed quiet from the beginning their true colors wouldn’t show, but people see it right through their lies. They say in one breath they want privacy but every chance they get they are talking to the media with lies. Once the trial is over and all is said and done they will fade away, the cash for their “story” will cease one day too, and it will be “just them” and they can’t hide from themselves and they know the truth-which will haunt them forever… They may have loved Caylee, but they disgraced her memory by lying for the person who stole Caylee’s last breath…

I do have a question about the latent finger prints. Can I still expect to one day read about the discovery of Casey’s partial prints in a future document dump? Or is it wishful thinking & a conspiracy theory that’s now dead?

Could that little girl have actually been Joy Wray’s daughter????? Anyone thinking maybe possibly? Who else would let Cindy anywhere near their children, let alone babysit them without their presence. Just thinking out loud of course …

  25. dddeerma says:

After seeing Baez direct Cindy in her deposition, I now think it should be clear that the entire A family is trying to follow his direction. It might be handier and easier for them if his direction HAD a direction. They know absolutely that Caylee is dead. Why else would George and Cindy be so upset all the time if they had genuine hope that she is alive somewhere. This is just a big flurry of “mistruths” thrown out at the public to make it seem like there could be other scenarios of the murder.

All in all, I got more from Lee than his parents. He detailed the fighting between Cindy and Casey the night of July 15. He suggested the officers separated the women because they were screaming at each other. He told how Casey would throw temper tantrums to get her way. He talked about how she stole checks from him when she was in 10th grade, and he knew it had to be her because she had stolen money from people before that. He tried to use the timer55 password thing as proof that Jesse had some involvement because Jesse had heard of it. More than likely Jesse knew about it because Casey had been using it before the Caylee’s disappearance became public knowledge. Lee also told how almost all the clothes that came from Tony L’s apartment that night were new, according to Cindy, and how the sales slips were still in the bag with them. Nothing at Tony’s was for Caylee.

Thanks wpgmouse: I still don’t get what Social Entertainment was. Did Cindy make it up as a distraction? It sounds like a prostitution organization. Surely Cindy wouldn’t be putting something like out in public, if there was any chance of Casey’s being involved. Not a good image for the mother of the year.

I believe what you are saying to be true YES they are attempting to do just that . I dont think they want casey home but dont want to see her executed either. They know that in reality she will never walk. oh and that she is guilty very quilty.

  28. Harry says:

WestsideHudson-I have often wondered who was kidding who this past year. I find your question about the “deep down subconsciously …” to be insightful and observant.

We know two things about this case that we can say with a fair degree of certainty are true facts. (1)Casey was the last person to see Caylee alive and (2)Cindy and George Anthony know that Casey was the last person to see Caylee alive. They know she acted alone and now all they want to know is “what happened”. They didn’t say to Maggie R. “What Casey did”.

Part of the unconditional love a parent has for a child according to Cindy Anthony’s belief system, is the act of forgiveness. She says she always forgave her because this was, in her mind, an opportunity for Casey to improve. Now that is truly twisted thinking but you can see how damaged Cindy is. Blame and punishment is now something the State will have to do-something that never crossed Cindy’s mind.

Cindy observed her disregard for Caylee. She observed her thoughtlessness, lack of shame and guilt and was probably the one who covered for her during all the bad times. She kept her away from the long arm of the law for about 7 years and yet we all know that she never improved.

The jury will convict her but Cindy will have to forgive her. If she doesn’t forgive her she may be riddled with resentment and guilt for the rest of her life.

  29. Joan (Canada) says:

It really disturbs me that Cindy is babysitting another young child.
These people are not well and it give me the creeps knowing that she is letting that child play in Caylee’s room. Are they trying to replace her? Is it the truth or was this child planted there for the program? If not, this is very definetly a healthy environment for a child. Also, aren’t they gone often?

I seriously hope that this is not true, because I would definitely speak to the mother and bring in children’s services.

  30. cindyc01 says:

  31. Joan (Canada) says:

Cindy is supposed to be on disability. If so, the money that they made from 48 hours, wouldn’t that effect her disability payments and if she is well enought to babysit a young child, wouldn’t her insurance provider say that she could work.

  33. Steadychick says:

Can you believe that Cindy identified both a round and rectangular laundry bag in her deposition (although according to Cindy these were not really laundry bags because she didn’t use them for laundry)? I absolutely fell over when she admitted that she had purchased one of each, that the rectangular one was still in the garage, but she didn’t know where the round one was. LE must have something (a photo maybe?) that proves the round one was in the house holding those plastic balls or she would never have admitted this. Doesn’t this provide that link to the house (smoking gun?) that everyone has been looking for?

And she also confirmed that they used duct tape at the command centers to hang posters, etc. And stated that they probably used it up. Do you think LE has been able to retrieve any of this tape? Or does it really matter since they have it in photos/videotapes?

  34. Amanda850 says:

wsh – I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said. The guilt must eat them alive thinking if they had only coddled Casey more or done xyz, Caylee would still be here. Now they will do whatever it takes to not lose their daughter too, no matter what they know deep down in their heart. Having the world know they are the parents of Caylee’s killer is just not something I think they are willing to accept without a fight, no matter how transparent their actions and speech. Definite contempt for Casey beneath the BS and spin.

Suzee, they can have all the experts they want, it doesn’t mean that they have to call them. In this case, it may be the opposite of what you are expecting. Dr Henry Lee may actually have
results that are the same as the prosecutions, and therefore, he may be of no use to defense.
It does appear, though, that they (the defense) want to hold out on submitting witness lists until the last moment.

Even now I don’t see him listed during weekday – those slots are taken by old faithfuls, Rachel R, Giada, Ina, Sandra, Emeril, etc. That would rule out the possibility that George was watching DDD during the daytime on June 16, 2008.
