Charlottesville, VA– Missing since the evening of October 17, 20 year old VT student Morgan Harrington had a vast circle of both friends and interests.

Could that circle be the key to where she is and what happened to her?

Moramysara

I have been reporting exclusively at blinkoncrime.com that we believe that Morgan Harrington was lured outside the John Paul Jones arena by someone she knew.

Dr. Harrington stated on Nancy Grace’s October 29th show that Morgan had been texting with a guy friend.

GRACE: That`s what I don`t understand. If she was just going to the bathroom, then why did she go outside the arena? Have they looked at her cell phone? Did anyone contact her and lure her out?

HARRINGTON: It does not appear there were other calls to Morgan during that period of time. There was some texting of Morgan to a young gentleman that she was friends with, but it was no one in Charlottesville. It was further away and so — but he`s not a suspect at all at this time.

GRACE: Right. So they were just probably texting about what, the concert, that she was at the concert, stuff like that?

HARRINGTON: Yes.

GRACE: OK. And he was in a different city?

Not a suspect at this time? The only other person to communicate with Morgan Harrington at the time of her disappearance on the cell phone that is located the next morning without it’s battery, is not a suspect at this time?

I would agree with that classification then, but sources inside the investigation are saying this investigation is moving closer to the VT campus, as well as “The Noke”.

Happie “Roundhouse” Hippie

Pictured above, you see the fine tie dye work of James Herndon.

The Tiedye Guy, as he refers to himself, is well known throughout Morgans peer group. In fact, Morgan and many of her friends are also friends with Herndon on his myspace.

In addition to his roadshow vending business, he owns a store Jamesjeanellecalled Beandawg Art, in Rocky Mount, VA with his partner, Jeanelle Myers.

While researching Herndon’s many pastimes, it is clear that his newest endeavor, “body painting” is taking off.

BeandawgAccording to Herndon, he was just in a Video shoot, doing the bodypainting of his bff, *Jeni*, the weekend of October 17 at the Motel 6 in Virginia Beach. He wants us all to know that, as a matter of fact, from his myspace:

         Oct 28 2009 2:06 AM< ?xml:namespace prefix ="" o />

For those concerned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I know Morgan and I TOO WISH FOR HER SAFE RETURN! Not that you should KNOW, but I’ll tell ya, I was involved with the shooting of a music Video on OCT. 17 in Va. Beach. I stayed at a MOTEL 6 there and Jeni herself was in the vid. I was doin’ a BODYPAINTING for it. Get on with finding her and NOT assuming (ASS U ) that just because she is a friend and I’m older that I would Hurt ANYONE. FU That “TIE DYE GUY”

Jeni

Hip n' Trippy experience- laundry at Aaron's Jeni

Jeni, a Waynesboro, VA native, is an operating room nurse. She is the frequent subject of Herndon’s art ,apparently, and recent music video star.

She was not on Morgan’s myspace or her immediate friends but she did have one thing in common with her.

Jeni touts she works as a nurse for Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Jeniwork

Morgan’s Father, Dr. Dan Harrington, is the Vice President for Academic Affairs for the Carilion Clinic.

Gil Harrington, Morgan’s Mom, is also an RN. By all accounts Dr. and Mrs. Harrington have a pristine reputation in their fields and as a solid family couple.

How does *Jeni* factor?

Although Jenis myspace reflects a last log-in date of October 21, she sends this comment to happy hippies myspace, on October 22:

Oct 22 2009 1:54 PM

Hello there FoG MaChInE MaStEr!!!!!! Holla…. (ahhhh!!!) You are such a ray of sunshine, glad you could be there for the fun (and the cold and the rain and the Motel 6…) Love ya so very much, I’m sure our paths will cross again soon…

*Jeni*, has a multi- mutual friend James Herndon, who is also myspace friends of most of Morgan’s friends. Add-in the Hospital connection; it begs the question– did they know each other?

J & J Midnight HikeI mean no disrespect, but If saw an operating room nurse myspace like this one, there is not a chance in Hiznich this girl would be scrubbing in on any procedure I might need. Seriously? The caption of the pic to the left was midnight hike.

MyLinda

Mylinda

James Herndon socks away what he saves on shave cream into the refurbishing of his beloved VW Bus, mylinda.  She is not just transportation, she is a studio on wheels.

Mr. Henderson not only lives in the roundhouse, he lives on the road. Mylinda can be spotted at many a concert venue. Herndonstudio

Why do we care?

One of the most signficant quandries in Morgan’s disappearance is why, after every indication that she eagerly anticipated the Metallica concert, would she go outside the venue ?

Was it the ole back stage pass ruse? Who knows, but if it was, it would have to be pretty convincing in this author’s opinion.

There appears to be a circle of “friends”  that run the gammut of screen printing, tie dye and bodypainting. All with access to talent.

 Musical talent that is.

Apparently, your understanding of civil torts and Federal legislation is limited to “lunchbreak google”. Any person at anytime, who *libels* another, is subject to civil litigation at a minimum. Duh.

That would mean anyone’s assets subject to a judgement, less “judgement proof” or non-garnishable would be subject to award. The first burden on the plaintiff is to prove their is a good faith basis for bringing it. If the information is verifiably true, your not getting past your defendent’s first motion to dismiss.

Suz, thanks for the new information.

It is so sad that she seemed to try again and again to get into the show. I think that the rules regarding no re-entry need to be looked at and revised. To think that this senseless tragedy could have been averted if there was some way Morgan could have safely returned to the arena. Even if that meant she had to stay out the concert area, perhaps a room could be designated for such a time as this, something.

  3. Charlynne says:

You are all crazy! I think these girls more than likely hooked up with some tailgating and met the wrong person. Just observe what happens in the parking lot before any concert. Matallica has some pretty hard core followers and thousands of druggies. (many who may have been too messed up to make it inside.)

Maybe she even gave out her number to someone she met earlier…she meets this same stranger later and he turns out to be a wacko. All of you young people know what I am talking about. We do this every time we go to a concert. Meet strangers. Party with strangers. Make out with strangers. Some go as far as to “hook up” with a gorgeous guy they met an hour before. And parents..you did the same thing when you were 20 except you got in cars with them.

“Women do not let each other go to the bathroom alone.” Bullshit.
“I am disturbed that this young woman can just disappear and no one knows anything” Stupid thing to say….happens every day.

Or if the authorities are saying it’s closer to “home” as in the college, then HELLO. It will more than likely turn out to be an ex boyfriend or someone she turned down who followed her.

As for Blink, I have been reading your website for quite some time and I believe you when you say you are posting based on leads and I respect your reporting. I think the problem comes in when people post a scenerio like the this one:

    “I can see this scenario:
Meet me at my van and I’ll paint your body. I know some of the crew of Metallica and they said you can go on stage painted like that. Meet me in the parking lot at “MyVan” before the show starts. I could see someone who is a huge fan falling for that in a heartbeat. *Not implying in any way the hippie is involved in her disappearance.*”

YEA RIGHT! That’s just not what happens. Normal, outgoing, partying 20 year olds know what happens. We always meet tons of people outside, inside, at the bar, in the bathroom, all of them strangers.

Unfortunately, I will not have many readers that agree with me. Not many people under the age of 40 read this website. They have no interest in reading about true crime. They are too busy going out, having fun and meeting people.

The last thing you said is true, in general.
But you yourself are dealing in many generalities, which respectfully, you have no evidence to support.
Let’s say that in my younger blinkness I have done my share of tailgating. I never made out with strangers

Your right, some scenarios appear unrealistic, but your hardline is as well. You can’t be angry at others opinions when your so firmly affixed in your own. Also, your being offensive to some that have opinions I agree with. Not productive.
    Let’s reintroduce ourselves.

    I am Blink.

This is an advocacy site for the missing, and victims. We discuss possibilities and theories in an effort to progress a case, and result in justice. Respectful opinions and contributions are welcome.

Maybe she was kidnapped by a sex slave ring? I have heard this does happen in the USA. They juice her up on drugs, brain washer her, and then pimp her out. Sender her to Aruba or another country? Watch the Movie taken.

It is a good thing to (theoretically) have the perps annoyed with your site! That means they are nervous! That is all I was trying to say, not very concisely I guess. Christine Sheddy case comes to mind, I loved seeing all those goofballs come on to spout off and/or try to explain themselves. Keep up the good work.

  9. Gypsy DD says:

I am still thinking in 6 degrees of Morgan. She knows the Happy Hippy, who I do not believe is our perp. Yet, he goes to concerts, srt festivals and such as depicted on his website. This means at one point or another he may have come in contact with someone who works security at this funstions. Not LE but security..who is a regular with a security company..who appears cool..likes his job due to the events he gets to be security for..and would get to know the vendors there possibly. Enter the Happy Hippy knowing him and the security perp meets Morgan at some point..who says hey I know the Happy Hippy too. Security dude seems like a cool guy, and they all see him at all the concerts and art fests.

Just an idea of how Morgan may have met someone like a security guard and trusted him immediately due to mutual acquaintences and shared interests. I think the whole group knew of the security guy and he would appear the least likely suspect to them.

#50-Charlynne—I object to the “not many who read this Website are under 40″ statement you made. Untrue! Talk about an inaccurate or sweeping generalization.

And, if at a public Rock concert like this- one goes to the ladies room by themselves- then they better also plan on staying in College for a long time because they are obviously not too bright! DUH….who does that? No one I know or ever went to College with went to the ladies room alone…that’s for sure. Why I am even off on this tangent is beyond me…Just saying- really don’t feel Morgan was abucted by a stranger. She was most definetly INTENTIONALLY lured away from the concert by someone with a specific agenda. While there is a small percentage of a chance a total stranger abucted her, doubt it. Seems to be a greater likelihood the perpetrator of this crime is somehow related to or in a group of people/classmates/associates that Morgan knows, or one of her friends knows…..there is a link somewhere and we should remain confident that LE will connect that link at some point (if they haven’t already.) There is a connection it would appear so your stranger theory would then not hold any water, respectfully.

    Time will tell.

NG, I mildly agreed with the Char comment on age issue because anlytics would agree with it. Not a bad thing, but again, it could just be a trend analysis formula. It also says 90% that read here have over a 4 year degree and over an income of 90K per year on average. It’s translatable, and to me honestly, not important.
Hopefully we are just a band of compassionates.

    Blink –
I don’t think I’m the one “spinning” anything at this point. It appears to that you are trying to infer that James lured Morgan into his VW bus with the ruse of musical connections simply because:
    1. He was friends with her on myspace.
    2. He travels to lots of musical festivals.
    3. He owns a VW bus.
    4. He knows a nurse that works at Carilion.
These are the only “facts” that I see in your article. The rest of your article centers around implied involvement leading readers to deduce false conclusions over red herrings. So speaking of careers in journalism you should check to see if National Enquirer has any openings. I feel that you would be a good fit there.

And what exactly do you “know very thoroughly” that I am incorrect about? Of course I am defensive and James is pissed off! His name, website, hometown, wife’s name, car, friends names, his friends employers are all privy to thousands of “internet sleuths” that now suspect him of involvement with a terrible situation. Morgan’s facebook group alone has over 22,000 members, I’ve read their postings and believe me, they aren’t all capable of making educated decisions regarding what they read on the web! And yes, I do consider myself a generally positive person (or a “free spirit” as you say) but I have always been someone that speaks up for the people I love, especially when I feel that they are being attacked by social networking “investigators” behaving like they are on a witch hunt.

You do have the capability to discuss potential theories without posting pictures and personal details associating innocent people with unthinkable crimes. The reason that James made that announcement in the first place was because of stories such as your own.

And yes, I did skip the meeting on “free speach” – however I am aware of free SPEECH and that is why I am engaging in this discussion with you. You cannot expect to make specific statements regarding actual individuals that are speculative without being open to the possibility of being told that you are wrong.

As far as not speaking about my hopes for Morgan Harrington, other than your circumstantial assumptions, I notice that your article is bare of any well wishes. I think it goes unsaid that none of us would be checking daily for internet updates if we weren’t concerned about her well being.

You should read more carefully, as I said, you worded this article so that it wasn’t exactly defamatory, but again that doesn’t absolve you of responsibility of leading your readers to the false premise that James and Jeni are involved with Morgan’s disappearance. Yes James made an announcement on his website so that he would stop receiving message after message from harrassing, suspicious readers hoping for a part of that $150,000 reward. But your statements obviously attempt to lead one to conclude that James is lying. This is not legitimate coverage. If you had simply stated the facts (without your spin) you wouldn’t have had an story in the first place.

You posted your link to this website on the wall of Morgan’s page. Not under the “theories” section. You wanted this story to be higly visible to 22,000+ members so they would visit your site and read this. How do you know what posters do and do not do in response to your stories? You have never met me before. You do not know that I am a “highly intelligent reasonable” person. Your assumption that no one will take action from this hypothetical slant is careless.

This is my grand finale here, I’m not interested in kicking a dead horse. I do understand that readers are free to interpret what is made public on James’ myspace site but Blink’s subjective presumptions are incorrect and I felt the need to clarify so that James and Jeanelle can stop having fingers pointed at them. Yes, Blink deliberately chose words carefully to side step any libel accountability but the accusations are obvious and injudicious and needed to be addressed by someone closer than a computer screen.

Where is your cabin and how well do you know Ted Kaczynski- this is a mini manifesto.

Well let me be the first to commend you on your reverse clarification techniques because yet again, I am clueless to your point and frankly am offended I am back on the hampster wheel of “do as I say not as I do” ideology.

I was going to respond to your other ramblings and them I remembered; you have yet to refute a fact, or contribute a positive theory or thought. Your a troll in tiedye. What ev.

ps. If you blast your pastimes all over the bloody web, and then some of your “Natural Bus” lifestyle comes back to haunt you, I have a very simple solution, don’t upload.

Which is sad, because the focus should be on Morgan. It breaks my heart to see her parents make an emotional plea on T.V. Are they searching the area by foot? I in no way think this is what happened to Morgan. I was trying to find some way to tie this story together. It was a simply a thought. I am in NO WAY accusing this man of anything. I do agree with Blink, he stood up and waved his arms and said look at me. He probably has nothing to do with it and is simply taking this opportunity for advertising. That is still pathetic in itself. “I am disturbed that this young woman can just disappear and no one knows anything” Stupid thing to say….happens every day.” To this I say bull. It does not happen all the time. If this happens in your world all the time, I feel for you and maybe you should go to the bathroom with your friends.

    Greg the mongoose,
Sorry, I was agreeing with your point that young women don’t usually go to public restrooms alone. My point was, based on this, that women don’t venture out into parking lots to buy drugs alone either. That would be even scarier.

Sorry, I didn’t understand what you were referring to when you asked,
“Most cell phone do not work in concert halls. It must have been a text message?” Can you please clarify?
I have seen the movie Taken. I thought it was pretty good until he just went on his merry way forgetting all the other girls that were left behind.

I know that in real life, kidnappings happen for this very reason. Not only to pretty girls either. Just look up Johnny Gosch.
IMO Sex slave kidnappings don’t happen at large public places where a person/camera could capture the act.

I don’t know what happened to Morgan. There are many different theories posted here. Most of them don’t end with and “She lived happily ever after.” Hopefully, she will be found safe. If that can not be achieved, then I pray she can be found and returned to her family.

  16. radiogirl says:

Well the opinions here of the 40 something tye dye, body painting guy, hanging around young girls and following concerts from my four 24 to 27 year old sons and their girlfriends ..is …well..a resounding eww!

And yes they are all Metallica fans and have been to many of their concerts. And still a loud and strong GROSS from the 20 something section on Mr.Wild and Free body painter.Just WTH is that anyway?

And who knew when my boys where playing metallica in the garage that years and thousands of dollars later I’d have a Manhattan school of music student, a New England Conservatory doctoral student, a vet med student and a high school teacher to the kids everyone else has given up on.So I’d like to thank Metallica for their musical influence and their help in finding precious Morgan.

So from a 40 something radio show host to Mr.Round house unless they are your own relatives hang out with people your own age and keep your paint and your hands to yourself. There is a reason people are looking at you and thats because your hobby is just creepy and suspect at best. And I got a room full of muscled up highly educated young men that would be happy to explain it to you.

Dang Radio- who knew? I agree there is a major skeeve factor here. Not rocket science, lol at the oily bo hunks. ( If your offended by that and dont know the reference, I will KNOW your not in your 40′s!

This is a hard case for several reasons- one being that there were so many persons she could have come in contact with outside the arena. As James Herndon has opted for internet transparency as far as the situation is concerned, his tree will need to bend with the wind as far as speculation is concerned. I’m sorry but, at 43 he is too young to be a hippie. That was my generation. Sorry dude, but the drugs, sex and rock & roll era is long gone. Thank god. He needs a real job. I have no clue why this guy would even want to hang around kids Morgans age. Thats creepy. Sorry Danielle, ITS CREEPY! I have seen people like him with their ancient wheels, all parked in parking lots and even at FLEA MARKETS. Yes it was a great time, but does anyone really want to relive that. Hell to the no! Gone but not forgotten. tie dyed crap trying to recapture a bygone era. ITS PATHETIC. Why this man felt he had to answer anything is beyond me. No one was pinning anything on him. He started his own domino effect NOT BLINK. Outa sight outa mind he should have stayed that way. Sorry Danielle. If you do not agree too bad for you. No said anything about this creep. He did that all on his own my dear. this about MORGAN and ONLY Morgan. Sorry if you seem to have your own agenda here. If I had a dude in my area as old as him, constantly hanging around kids Morgan’s age or younger, I’d call the cops and have them checked out myself. That’s hardly the norm. ITS WEIRD! Soory you can’t see that. You most likely young and a tad dumb (naive) there yourself. He needs friends his own age. Not impressionable kids. You reep what you sow Danielle! No one here sad a darn thing about this man. As far as I can tell, he is a strange man. Sorry you can not see that. And dear, I am the mother of a 21 year old daughter. And I can assure you she has NO OLDER MAN as friends….

Let me say this Chitown- Do I think it odd that this guy has oodles of young women staying the weekend “in the interest of art”? You bet. I have 2 nieces and a cousin this age, and if anyone of them hung out with this guy you can bet your bippy I would have him checked out, and possibly a chat from an uncle or 2 in LE. It would go something like this:

“You know Mr. Herndon, your an adult, and how you live your life and your party habits are your own business. When those habits include illegal drugs, it becomes my business.” You may find us mosey’n up the mountain more randomly, and more often in the near future..” Jus to be neighborly of course..”

As to the rest regarding his choice of business or what have you, I cant fault the man for those choices. The reality is, he does face and bodypainting and sells tiedye tshirts. What I am concerned about, is there are pics on his myspace and on some of his friends that are obvious associated with drug use. If that is his gig, then I got problems with him.

I think you said he is unreliable/a quack or something, but if her parents “find out today” (today is the date that dream guy dreamt) that would be weird. And it seems that a few of these so called psychics/dreamers are mentioning this couple a lot as being the perps. I guess either there is something to it, or something has been leaked from LE, overheard and maybe relayed as a fake “intuition.”

Not to offend anyone but this sounds like some kind of sick sub culture ring going on here.. not saying he has anything to do with her missing, but the fact they know each other via myspace and all these other hippies.. looks like communal 420 stuff.. again not trying to offend anyone at all.. i’ve known people like this in the past and seen young folks get involved with them because they were cool and understood them..

    Good Morning Blink,
I was hoping I could link an article to a missing mother and daughter in Winter Haven, Florida. The case does not appear to be receiving any media attention. I don’t know if you are in a position to assist or could encourage others who may have the means to get involved, but Keya Holmes and Masaraha deserve to be found. Fortunately, there appears to be a lot of evidence and people of interest (unlike so many other missing persons cases), yet so many stories are not adding up. Please consider.
    Sincerely,
    Scratch

Blink, When I heard the story about Morgan,it made me think of another case very similar from around five or six years ago, about another young woman that went missing from a rock concert. I can’t remember the details, but it may have been a Bon Jovi concert in a large city, like Atlanta or Phillie. There was some national attention given to it and I may have seen it on NG. Does anyone else recall this story? If so, could LE compare information with Morgan’s case?

  33. Wendy says:

Well, I’m personally offended by someone coming to Blink’s site and blasting off at the mouth, either toward Blink, or about Blink, or whatever. Or maybe it’s just the 40 something comment that got me. As I just turned 40. I don’t go out, don’t have fun, and I have enough friends. Ugh! I come here to read facts, and also theories that the people here put out, which most of the time are either really in depth and I don’t understand them at all, so I just assume they are facts. I didn’t listen to Metallica, never liked them, (jmo) and I also didn’t have kids that listened to them, nor did I have kids that listened to them….but after reading about radiogirl’s kids, mannnnn I should have sang to my belly while pregnant even, start ‘em young.

I have to say that I do know what oily bo hunk is, haaa@that. I guess because I’m so old and lonely, and do nothing but read here at Blink’s site….wait…..I do watch movies sometimes too. Albeit by myself, cuz of the no friend thing. My personal favorite, because I’m 40, Fried Green Tomatoes… “Don’t make no sense, a big ol’ man like Grady afraid to sit next to a colored person, but he eats eggs, shoot right out a chicken’s a**….haaaa!

None of this has anything to do with anything….other than I was annoyed by someone coming here in an attempt to defend a friend, which I could understand….BUT, not by trying to defame Blink.
    K, I’m done..:)

  34. PamTX says:

    #59 GypsyDD – Exactly!
#61 – “DW” is one of her “myspace” friends.

I absolutely 100% believe the person responsible for Morgan’s disappearance is someone who is connected with the position of “security”. Once again, I am screaming for hope and prayer that every employee from RMC Events, Inc. is being tracked down for questioning, and I am not talking about the top dogs here. RMC has a direct connection between the arena, Virginia Tech, VT’s athletic events, and a host of other major venues.

It is highly possible that RMC could not have found enough locals to work for them to cover the Metallica concert, and subbed out another security firm to assist them with security recruiting, but I have not seen that information anywhere. It’s done in this business, so it’s possible. However, security firms under contract with major venues do not like to share their business, so I doubt it…even though possible.

This DW man that I reference in another Blink thread, I still find disturbing. On his Myspace, he continues to reference Morgan. Ok, maybe he is just a lonely guy expressing his feelings and continual need to address the name of a missing young lady, A 30 yr. old man that works security for RMC and worked the event that night. A guy that says he talked to Morgan that “night”. But he has added this in the past 24 hours to his myspace page:

“my heart burns like fire but my eyes are as cold as dead ashes”

    Ooookay?

Again I will say that for some reason, I just can’t get this guy out of my head and it could absolutely mean nothing…or something. Don’t know, but it saddens me that nationally-speaking, we are hearing so little about Morgan’s case in the media.

Let me just say this, I have personally witnessed (and far too many times for my level of comfort), young women meeting security people at major concerts, befriending them, and taking rides home from them!!! Just because someone works security, does not mean they are “somebody”…especially in these types of venues! I can’t stress enough that young women need to be so very careful. I can truly see a scenario whereby Morgan somehow met, talked to, or was approached by somebody in a security position that evening after she was refused re-entrance to the arena. That same security “someone” saw her walking ALONE or lured her out intentionally, (and if the last sighting of her on the bridge was legitimate), this security person gets in his car, drives conveniently by her, stops and offers her a ride. Since she had already met this person and knows he his security, my guess is she would have taken that ride. The purse and her cell phone were returned to the area it was found in, much later. Would not surprise me that this same “security” person would approach a young couple in a forest wearing a security t-shirt (referencing the unsolved murders of the young couple murdered not too long ago). I believe these two cases may possibly be connected.

Many of these people hang in the same circles, (i.e. concerts, music, music videos, tie-dyed people)….hopefully, someone can connect the dots and bring Morgan back to her family. On another note, my two older brothers (60’s), used to be in the tattoo and tie-dyed industry (God rest their souls), and I just wanted to say that appearances can be deceiving. I wouldn’t have wanted to meet either of my older brothers in a dark alley, but they were gentle giants. One was a former Navy Seal and the other a former Marine and an extremely talented artist. Their motto always to their friends were; “If you play, then you’re gonna pay”. So I am sharing that with Mr. Tie-Dyed guy and saying to him: “get your friends who are so passionate to protect you and your profession to do something positive about this situation and help find Morgan. Your friends are not making you look so good during this time.”

I have mentioned this DW guy so many times, I am making myself ill…so I appreciate the opportunity to share my opinion and will sit back and observe. I leave for a couple of days, yelling “check out local security hirees ”!! May God watch over Morgan and find a way to lead her back to her family.

I hear you, but what change are you referencing on the ms?

WRT the appearances of others, let me say on this journey I have made a few friends that had I come across in a well lit alley I would snap the holster. Covered in tats and with long hair or had long hair at one time. Today, I would not go down a dark alley without them. Like alot of people, I learn as I go as well.

Also to LinzFromFla, I agree. I am a 25 y/o political investigator and I check Blinks site almost daily. It has nothing to do w/my profession as that is a completely different field; I do it because I want to know what happened to all of these missing people and because I want to help. As a little girl I used to collect the “Have You Seen Me” Missing Person flyers and sort through them before I’d run errands with my mom…y’know, just in case I ever saw one of the missing kids. =)I guess its been a passion of mine since I was young and I’ve always wanted to help find the missing.

Uh … i’m in my 40′s, know the reference and find it fairly offensive considering my heritage is Ukrainian/Hungaria based. The word bohunk is highly offensive to people of my descent …. kinda like the “N” word to African Americans.

ok, this is a word used in an 80′s film describing attractive men. I have personally used it for years in my girlfriends ears if we spotted a handsome guy. My sincere apologies but that was exactly how it was intended.

Now, that said, I am going to get about 100 posts of folks that are offended that you would make such an analogy.

To head that off, I am going to say this is as off topic as this is going to get, and will delete any further comments on race issue that have nothing to do with what was said, intended, or this case.

  38. Gypsy DD says:

What I want to know is does Danelle also know Morgan or have heard of her prior to this? Just still working the theory that whomever did this is going to be someone Morgan’s group knew ..but not well. Still thinking security guard here that gets around to lots of art fests and concerts. Someone on the boundaries of any group. A loner but someone known and seen at these types of things. Someone that they all think is cool..more in their age range..someone they would trust.

When the two young people were murdered in their car at the campground back in August is there more info on that? Did it appear that they put up a struggle at all. By this I mean if someone is dressed as security or a cop and you are parking..well you might just not be as afraid to open the window or a door or get out of the car to speak with them as you would be with a stranger.

So if it looks like they did not put a fight..remember there were two of them..found in their car I believe..then this has to be someone they felt they could trust to a certain extent.

I am thinking the samething with Morgan. She exits the building a security person getting off their shift says hey no worries I will get you back in..or I will drive you home I am going that way anyway. But this security person would have already had her on his radar. He knew she was going to the concert and may have been the reason she slipped out prior to Metallica taking the stage.

Dang I wish Darlene would have done more then defend Happy Hippy..I wish she would have said if she had a connection to Morgan or some security folks. I don’t think she is involved nor the Happy Hippy…but I think they may have unknowingly come in contact with this person before this at a music or art fest.

    http://www2.dailyprogress.com/cdp/news/local/crime/article/parents_plea_for_ground_search_volunteers/48497/

Police have been following up on hundreds of tips, but so far have only managed to corroborate Morgan Harrington’s location as far as a bridge on Copeley Road, where she was at about 9:30 p.m.

On Wednesday evening, Virginia State Police officers, police dogs and search and rescue teams combed property near the State Farm Insurance Co. campus on Pantops, checking out a tip regarding Harrington. They found nothing, but state police Lt. Ann Barber said investigators plan on checking every tip that comes in.

The search began after a phone call that described a suspicious vehicle that was in the area around the time of Harrington’s disappearance. “A vehicle looked wrong to someone,” Barber said. “It looked out of place and that made someone suspicious, so we searched the area. We’re not taking anything for granted.” Police haven’t released any evidence pointing toward abduction, but Harrington’s family is convinced that it is the most likely scenario.

Dan Harrington said he thinks his daughter’s abductor is likely still in the Charlottesville area.

As a personal friend of the Happy Hippie that for some reason is in question, it makes me sad for Morgan and her parents that the best people could do to “help out” is surf myspace and slander a few good peoples names. You have to realize that copying and pasting peoples lives in this manner doesn’t help any of the parties involved. If this were a legitimate lead do you really think the police wouldn’t have that angle covered. So he travels to see music and support his company. This isn’t the person you will see at Metallica show and it was extremely rare to hear about a VA Beach trip, with the exception of Summer festival season Mr. Herndon is a home body, tending to his home, painting, model building, audio engineering and his loving girlfriend. It pains me to see that the search for a young girl is hitting so many dead ends, it especially hurts to see it be aimed at people who have had very little contact with Morgan before the disappearance and as I know to be a fact, none what so ever after. I’m a friend of Morgan’s on myspace and I’ve never met her. I’ve yet to see the correlation and have no idea why you’ve brought either of these two decent human beings into this mess, but I look forward to seeing you apologizing for it.

Seriously? I am not going to waste others time by repeating myself except to say Flip, you will be able to learn to do a flip before I will apologize for using one’s own words freely posted by them.

In fact, if you look back at his previous status messages, he also posted something very similar a while ago–prior to Morgan’s disappearance. It struck me as creepy when coupled the other odd elements of his page and his insertion of himself into this situation. TR

Blink – #92, Sorry, I usually post the actual link when I reference quotes, which I failed to do in #85 above.

Blink, what was to the immediate right of his name the other day and by his mood “none”, was this:
    “morgan dan harrington 2-4-1″

That statement is now moved farther to the right at the top of his page in a little rectangular box. If you recall, on your previous thread, this comment of “2-4-1″ brought forth discussion about what it meant (which was clarified).

Possibly, this new “ashes” statement was listed BELOW his pic the other day and I just missed it. I looked at his page so many times, and I just don’t recall ever seeing it there.

Today, his “mood none” is below his picture, so he has been moving things around. But if you remember this statement, it must have been there. I can’t believe I missed it — argh! Still creepy…

This is so sad. It has the familiar ring of Casey Anthony telling family members that Caylee was with the nanny on vacation. From reading it sounds like the “father” was keeping the mom at bay until he had to produce the child. The cell phone call was a little strange. I hope that LE closes in on the responsible party very soon.

  49. lily says:

Pam I’m pretty sure I saw that too. I went to your link when you posted it and I remember it was sort of creepy under the circumstances.
