Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: Macaluso Out – New Discovery Released

Orlando, FL– Announced this Sunday evening, California Attorney Todd Macaluso will not be Casey Anthony’s Valentine; or her attorney.

Jose-casey-and-todd-macaluso

As predicted exclusively at blinkoncrime.com, Macaluso informed Casey and her defense team that he would not be able to represent her in the murder charge against her due to entering the alternative discipline program with the California Bar Association (CBA).

However, Mr. Macaluso has been participating in the ADP for several months. In fact, he has handled other cases, several of them, in the meantime.

Macaluso, dubbed the Madoff of Law at blinkonrime.com, had pending disciplinary charges against him he neglected to inititially disclose when he submitted his pro hac vice to Judge Stan Strickland last March.

Blinkoncrime has learned from a source inside the CBA, that Macaluso reached an agreement last week with the CBA to voluntarily take a license suspension beginning in April, for an undisclosed period of time, in order to avoid a disciplinary trial on the current charges brought against him last year.

Why allow him to continue to practice law both in Cali and Florida and all of a sudden pull the plug? New Complaint.

An additional complaint was filed last year that has reached elevated status within the CBA and became the “proverbial straw” as it were. It involves Macaluso’s distribution of a settlement, and the fact that he has already admitted the offense in Oregon, where the lawsuit is being litigated currently.

Hundreds of Discovery Docs to Be Released This Morning

Announced Yesterday, the State Attorneys Office will be releasing several CD’s of new discovery after 8:30 AM EST this morning. It is expected to contain video of the special Henkel duct tape believed to be the source of the tape found on the skull of Caylee Marie Anthony, and other documents and photos.

Check back to blinkoncrime.com for updates and links to the discovery.

Other than Blink pointing out that there were 2 dolls in a post somewhere, did any of Caylee’s relatives mention Caylee having more than 1 “mama” doll? The pink doll to me looks barely used, almost new, unlike the white clothed doll which looks like she’s been loved (used\carried around) by a child. Were they both turned in to LE by Caylee’s grandmother? Hmmm, something about that pink doll isn’t adding up for me. I suppose that by the tags (on the dolls) that they photo’ed they can probably find out when the dolls were purchased. Interesting.

    JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY!

    THEY DID NOT.

Blink, did you see my post on the two dolls in evidence? Neither of them is the doll pictured with Caylee in her car seat. I do not think either one of the dolls in evidence is the ‘momma’ doll.

I saw your post after I posted my comment…..but I’m on your same line of thought. LE also took pictures of markings on the back of the dolls head, that to me is an indicator of what you mentioned of “someone putting a different doll” and LE has checked it out.

  5. Ragdoll says:

I do not mean to sound insensitive by asking this question.

Did Casey ‘choose’ suffocation as a means of killing Caylee? If so, I don’t understand why she choose duct tape. You can literally watch your victim die before your eyes!!!!!!! Not using a pillow to smother Caylee makes me think Casey thought about this to great detail. This monster intended for her daughter to die. I’m more convinced than ever this was pre meditated.

  6. joypath says:

Nancy: sorry for the delay in response: luminol aka C8H7N3O2 produces the chemiluminescence from the IRON in the hemoglobin of the blood, there can be false positives from bleach residue, horseradish! and also “flash” reactions from copper and cyanide. DNA can be identified from the luminol stain, however!

  7. Ragdoll says:

Another thing I’ve always wondered……if Cindy didn’t take those pants out of the trunk, what story would they have told. I wonder if Cindy knew what she was doing when she washed them…..was she already beginning to cover up for her daughter’s henious act?

A mother knows (with Casey being the exception).

MJ, go to wftv and the story, there’s a link to the photos there. I have to click one by one, they never play in a slide show. The ALS photos are details, farther along. Also there’s some colour differences in other photos, I don’t know what the lighting is, maybe just changing the colour digitally to enhance the stains.

BTW, Jane V-Mitchell had the case on tonight, someone asked the question, how rare is the duct tape, where was it sold, and the experts and JVM did a poor job of an answer, they had NO info about the rare type of tape, nor the few rolls ever sold and the last time it was sold, and the Lowes connection. One ‘expert’ said it probably isn’t rare at all, just regular tape, and maybe not tied to the case at all. DUH!! Don’t they read in prep for a story?

  11. Kleat says:

Richard Hornsby comments on today’s story– top story at WESH at the moment.

Hornsby seems to imply the defense might be making a big mistake by pointing at Kronk, at least he says it validates what the state is saying about premeditation and no innocent reason for the tape being placed on a child’s face.

    Quote WESH:

“The biggest problem for the defense is that there can never be an innocent explanation for duct tape being fixed on a child’s face,” Orlando defense attorney Richard Hornsby said.

Hornsby said that the number of pieces of tape and where they were placed is critical.

“The fact that there was more than one piece and they were used to block the airways, clearly that’s where the state is going to argue the premeditation comes from,” Hornsby said.

Hornsby also said that the defense is validating the state’s theory by trying to cast doubt on Roy Kronk, the former meter reader who discovered Caylee’s remains.

“The defense pointing at Roy Kronk as having used duct tape, they’re admitting to tape being affixed to her face and Caylee suffocating,” Hornsby said.

Barley used is right… Cindy may have something to do with the exchange of dolls when she packed up the items requested by FBI? I’m guessing this “barley used” doll number 3 and number 2 of 3, is still missing.

The 2nd doll was used as a control sample is what I believe for mass spec testing. Know this, I loves me that Mama. Check my stats. From day one I said Mama had stories to tell. And she is doing exactly that. Not needing to be right, just needing Mama to get her due.

  19. DayLilyLover says:

Regarding the dolls ~ Long ago, I remember it being told that Caylee had her favorite doll, as did Casey when she was younger. Casey’s doll was for “looks only”, and, Caylee was not allowed to play with it, from what I remember.
Perhaps the reason for those 2 dolls showing up now, {then} is maybe Caylee’s doll was so soiled, that Cindy may have intended to throw it away and replace it with the doll that Casey had when she was younger; and in the rush at the end to place the 911 calls, it was over-looked.

As far as the “Mama Doll” goes, there are photo’s of a dark colored teddy bear, in a Harley vest type shirt, and, that Teddy says “Mama” on the front of it.
Maybe this is the confussion on the referances to the “Mama Doll”?

  20. justiceformorgan says:

I wouldn’t put it past Cindy to replace the original doll with a new one. She has absolutely no respect for the law. They should have slapped her with a contempt charge long ago.

  22. C.J. says:

yeah…I think it was Cindy who bought the new mama doll to cover up Casey wasn’t buying anything for Caylee. Caylee was dead. It was all for Casey. The receipts and videos prove that.

  23. C.J. says:

Just dreaming, but wouldn’t it be grand if like an old episode of the Twilight Zone the Anthonys, Baez and Lyon started choking on duct tape fibers while eating? Huge chunks of duct tape just start coming up their throat and out their stinking lying mouths.

  25. Leslee S. says:

Justiceformorgan, You are right about Cindy. If Caylee is holding her ‘momma’ doll in her car seat photo, then neither of the dolls we are shown in evidence are ‘momma’!

  26. Leslee S. says:

DayaLilylover, Caylee’s ‘momma’ is a baby doll & she went everywhere with Caylee.

  27. C.J. says:

If Cindy found Mama in the backyard of July 3rd and Mama had been with Caylee at death and until Casey moved little Caylee’s body from the backyard, Cindy almost certainly had to know Caylee was dead. Was Mama put back in the car at some point to further support the kidnapping story?

  28. Sdb says:

I am certain that many of Caylee’s toys were originally Casey’s. Once something belongs to a narcissist it is forever “special” and commands the utmost respect. I know that the picture of Caylee playing with the huge Potato Head collection is of her being “allowed” the privilege of playing with Casey’s toys. I’ll bet it was a real issue for Casey. Having grown up with a narcissist, who kept Easter candy for decades, I know of what I speak. This is why Caylee had soooo much stuff. Most of it originally belonged to Casey and was kept in pristine condition.

  29. MJ says:

CJ~ I like the way you think! LOL I’d like it if they chucked up the tape in big long strips that start winding around their heads and for the finale, it straps G & C together for infinity.
    Good one, CJ

  30. Sosad says:

These dolls are really confusing. The doll in white with the opening eyes appears to be the evidence doll that was in the basket in the car.

The doll that Caylee is holding in the car seat photos appears to have molded eyes that are closed.

The pink doll in evidence has eyes that open.

B and Leslee are right, there is definitely something going on with the dolls. Neither of the evidence dolls are the doll Caylee is pictured with.

  31. Heidi says:

We have yet to see Cindy’s phone records and debit card receipts… My guess is they tell all.

    SDB,
How are you so certain, are you a family member or friend of KCs?

Maybe the doll was buried in the backyard with other evidence as in maybe the clothes that LE never found? KC mentioned it to Tracy or Rob didn’t she?

  34. Leslee S. says:

C.J. My guess is that the ‘real’ mama is missing (purposely gotten rid of) & a different doll was placed in the car by someone. Of course, LE was told that different doll was mama and if Caylee doesn’t have mama, then Caylee was kidnapped.

is the BEST news I’ve had all day. I do remember your past posts regarding “Mama” and it just lifts my Heart knowing that you still feel that way about about her. It would be so wonderful if the original “Mama” was found with Caylee. I’m not certain that’s even a possibility but the two Mama doll pictures released today look too new to be Caylee’s real “Mama”. Knowing that you shouldn’t comment on her just reinforces my positive feelings.

Bless Your Heart for all you do for those no longer able to speak for themselves!

  38. TOY says:

The explanation given thehinkymeter.com is that one of the dolls is for control purposes used for comparison when they ran tests on the “mama” doll. The way I understand it, this is to demonstrate that anything they discover on Caylee’s doll was not due to the doll’s composition, etc.

Sounds reasonable to me since these were scientific tests being run.

Wasn’t the doll given to LE by Cindy in the blue crate? I do not think LE retrieved it directly from the car.
That would be something if the real doll was found elsewhere or with the remains, after Cindy supposedly already gave it to them. Bet she was choking on those crab puffs at the Ritz.

  41. Heidi says:

It bugs me KC is still in Protective Custody. If she is “innocent until proven guilty”… then why is she still in protective custody if she’s innocent? KC will be more than glade to sit where she is at. She’s not gonna plea…. never. She is out of harms way, like a queen in her own castle and she loves it. CA, GA & LA are happy too. They don’t have to deal with KC’s lack of future goals or worry about who she’s gonna steal from next. Their daughter is safe right where they put her and probably feel it is justified.

    Cindy’s State deposition
    http://www.wftv.com/pdf/21310288/detail.html

Cindy is soooo convoluted and does not answer questions in a plain and straightforward manner. It is difficult to follow her “daisy chain” regarding the “mama” baby doll. First, Cindy says she took the babydoll out of Caylee’s carseat in the backseat of the car. Then later, Cindy says she took items out of the trunk which included the blue plastic bin. The bin had the babydoll in it and Burdick asked Cindy if she put the doll in the bin, but Cindy said “it was in the bin” (IOW – “No”). So, it seems the babydoll WAS IN THE TRUNK, in the bin???? But then later in the depo, Burdick asks Cindy where she put the babydoll when she took it out of the car seat, and Cindy says she took the BASKET (blue bin) out and put the doll laying next to it (on the ice chest in their garage). So, according to Cindy, somehow the babydoll got from the carseat in the backseat of the car, to their ice chest in their garage, to inside the bin (that was in the trunk) when the sheriff’s office came to collect items. According to Cindy, all she added to the blue bin was the laptop. Exhibit # 15 of Cindy’s depo is a photo of the blue bin with the babydoll in it.

pg 137 of the PDF – Cindy says: The only thing I removed out of the back seat was Caylee’s doll and Casey’s pants. Burdick: Where was Caylee’s doll? Cindy: Inside the car seat.

Cindy CRIES in this depo during the discussion of the backseat of the car, and Caylee’s carseat, and Casey’s pants (no other crying). pg 138 of the PDF

pg 145 of PDF – Burdick: So you did take some items out of the trunk ….? ….indicate where you had removed the bin from the trunk (blue bin that had the baby doll on top of a black bag)…. So are you the one that actually took the bin out? Cindy: Yes

pg 150 of PDF – Burdick: Okay The items that are in this collapsible blue bin, is this how they were presented to the sheriff’s office, to your recollection? Cindy: No I think the laptop was — the baby doll was on top of the laptop. Burdick: Did you put the baby doll in the bin? Cindy: The baby doll was in the bin and I brought the laptop from inside the house when they came to take the stuff

pg 152 of PDF – Burdick: Okay. When you said you took the doll out of the car seat, where did you put it? Cindy: I laid it …. our ice chest …. So I took the basket out and put it …. I put the doll laying next to it, to the right, so it wasn’t touching anything else…..

pg 153 of PDF – Burdick: …. Did you wash the doll? Cindy: No. The doll was just like it is, without an outfit. ……I may have wiped the face with a Wet-Nap …..

pg 154 of PDF – Burdick: Is this — was this Caylee’s favorite doll? Cindy: Yes. That was “mama” …….

A: “I did not take the carseat out, but I took her doll out, the “mama” doll, and took it out so that it could air out because it also had a smell.
Q: All right. Where was Caylee’s doll?
    A: Inside the car seat
    (snip)
Q: “Do you have a specific recollection of what else was in the blue bin?
A: I know typically, when I would see Casey’s car, there would be a blanket that was–like a red-plaid blanket and then her car-seat covers. Those she could have taken out.
    Q. Okay. When you said you took the doll out of the car seat, where did you put it?
A: I laid it — our — our ice chest is probably about this big, by like this (indicating).
A: So I took the basket out and put it, if you’re looking straight on, to the left, and I put the doll laying next to it, to the right, so it wasn’t touching anything else. And I believe I had Caylee’s backpack behind it.
Q: All right. I know you said you washed the pants. Did you wash the doll?
A: No. The doll was just like it is, without an outfit.
Q: Okay. And it has a cloth body
    A: Yes
    Q” Did you spray it?
A: I possibly could have sprayed it with Febreeze. I can’t remember if I did, but probably.
Q: Did you wipe it down with anything?
A: I may have wiped the face with a Wet Nap…
A: Just to wipe the face off. It wasn’t dirty, but it looked a little you know–not necessarily dusty, but–
A: it wasn’t as clean as I normally would see it.
    Q: Is this–was this Caylee’s favorite doll?
    A: Yes. That was “mama”.
Q: Okay. Did “mama” always go without clothes?
    A: No.

  49. Ragdoll says:

    #47 Chica

Do you think it was revenge on Cindy or could it have been about bringing Caylee’s life to an end for her own selfish purposes? She watched her daughter die a slow death. She watched Caylee fight for her last breath with her own eyes. It’s almost like she wanted to see it for herself. I know this may come across as insensitive and I don’t mean it to be……but why did she not choose a less ‘visual’ means? Did she drown Caylee with the duct tape in the pool? The whole process seems malicious and cruel. Nothing short of torture on that poor child.

It sickens me to the core to think what Caylee endured. I wish I could have 1 minute alone with Casey. It wouldn’t be pretty.

Anyone understand why Casey’s myspace acct was ‘kayseeomaree’? She has a friend with that name (different spelling). What is that all about?
