Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: New Discovery On The WRAY

Orlando, FL– With the public still reeling from last weeks indigency hearing, the State Attorneys office is set to release the latest round of discovery documents this morning.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity to blinkoncrime.com, a source inside the investigation has confirmed within the release is the latest interview by OCSO of Joy Wray.
Ms. Wray is said to have told investigators that she was in the woods on July 18, 2008 searching for Caylee Marie Anthony and has the photos to prove it.
When OCSO investigators requested Ms. Wray surrender her laptop computer to retrieve the original image raw files, among other source information Ms. Wray revealed, she headed to BestBuy to have the hard drive erased prior to her interview, which would reveal the dates on the photos had been added by her.
Detectives were tipped off by a savvy Geek Squadder and when Joy arrived to retrieve her blank computer and copy of it’s former contents, they were waiting for her. Joy sniffed out the Five O, and turned on her heels out the door without the computer; only to be interviewed by Detective John Allen in her lawyers office about the incident, shortly thereafter.
Ms. Wray has been baker acted 6 times, and claims to be friends with and corresponding with former President George W Bush on the Caylee Anthony case.
The discovery is also expected to include interviews with members of Texas Equusearch, as a follow up to statements by Laura Buchanan and Joseph Jordan.

Justice, I’m glad to hear from you! At the rate this case is moving I don’t think we stand to lose much if it’s awhile before you can get to it. About Baez intentionally being so dumb ~ it’s tempting to think that because it’s hard to accept someone so unfortunate would be fit to practise personal injury cases, let alone a DP murder case!!! But I’ve been thinking all along that we’re covered by his stupidity because he has a real DP lawyer sitting up there alongside of him. But maybe it’s not good enough just to have one sitting at the table ~ maybe Cheney should be up on his feet untangling the huge mess created by the defence!
IDK but I think it’s something we all should be clear on. I’d love to hear somebody like Ashton, LDB, Sheaffer or NeJame explain how that works ~ qualified lawyer or bumbling, baffling buffoon ~ mistrial????

Technically, they are both acceptable. Judge is what I would call “contemporary”.
I recommend one follows Mr. Nejames court etiquette. He is old school and very respected.
I personally would never call his Honor “Judge” in open court.

I cannot believe Baez. He practically calls Mr. Nejames a media ho and yet every time he goes to court, he’s on TV and giving his little press conference. I laughed when one of the reporters asked him about Mr. Nejames called him lazy and sloppy. His response was that he was from a different school, where you don’t do that. Excuse me, what about his smirk and his partner’s behaviour at the last hearing. I really believe that Baez fits in so well in this family dynamics. He also said about the letters that there was not admissions. If he really thought his client was innocent, why would he even say that.

You mentioned a few days back you weren’t surprised at all the defense wasn’t trying to keep Casey’s letters sealed. If the letters are helpful to the prosecution as some have stated and hurtful to the defense, WHY on Earth wouldn’t Baez try to block them from going public? He’s tried blocking pretty much everything else. If this was “planned” somehow ahead of time, I’m not sure I get at all why Baez would do that thinking it would somehow be in his favor???? What do you know that we don’t? I’m confused.
The defense is trying to put Casey on the stand without putting her on the stand.

Do you think these letters will be brought out in court? I know Baez would like for them to be seen but I don’t see how he can introduce them without letting the jury know that along with all of Casey’s lies to LE from early on she still has the nerve to break the law while in jail. It is against the law for all concerned with the passing of the letters back and forth, right? And if the letters could give the implication of poor Casey being raised by C & G, the bad parents, I can not see the State introducing them. So is this just to once again try to taint the jury pool?

I’m jumping all over these letters. Her handwriting actually makes me cross-eyed. But I did notice on handwritten page 13755 she’s talking about a problem she’s had for several years with a lump under her breast. Her “left boob” is killing her. But here’s what surprised me, “I wrote my mom. I haven’t seen my attorney since Saturday so I can’t get it to her yet. I’m going to have her research possibilities”. 3 things pop out at me: 1) I didn’t think it was ok for her attorney to pass letters back and forth, 2) I remember the A’s saying they have not received any communications from Casey, and 3)notice she doesn’t say she’ll “ask” her mom to do it. Instead she’ll “have” her do the research. There’s no asking, just ordering. One problem I see — no dates on these letters.
There’s so much good stuff in these pages, I can’t imagine how long the discussions will go on. We really do get to see some of what she’s all about.
I’m reading them now and I have to agree with ChicagoJudy, my eyes are watering as I read.
I’m about 1/3 of the way through the letters and honestly don’t think I can read any more of what appears to be a 14-year old school girl’s ramblings about her fantasies and crushes, right down to the punctuation with the hearts in them. So we know she has a crush on her attorney Jose G., Baez is passing letters between Casey and her family, and she still is not mad at “Zenaida” for keeping Caylee. Oh, and apparently loves her cushy life in the dorm and is looking forward to going home soon. Dream on. What drivel.

I just finished reading Casey’s letters. If this was orchestrated by her lawyers, Wow. So the only things they accomplished IMO was having Casey state “facts” in her own words. Like…Lee looked at Casey with a flashlight, while she was sleeping and she awoke several times with her bra above her chest or unclasped. He touched her breasts. From age 12 to 15, supposedly.
I am very sympathetic to those that have suffered from any type of abuse in their lives, including sexual abuse. But IMO Casey’s story just thrown out in a little blurb- within a letter, saying nothing much at all about mundane things- It does not ring true to me.
It all seems very contrived. A ploy in order to back up, in Casey’s own words,the story we have all heard tell of possible sexual abuse-and that we the public need to feel sorry for her plight.
Casey also stated she has no memory of George touching her, but thinks it may have happened, the same way but, it is too fuzzy. Casey also writes about having seizures, from stress, although this has never been confirmed by a doctor, she has awakened several times having bit her tongue in her sleep, and that day she has had a headache- which she states is the reason she knows she has had a seizure. She is sure to write about George’s suicide attempt writing PP “Something else must be going on with him” and she hopes he finds God just as she and Cindy have done.
Casey is also sure to point out in these letters, that Jesse was very controlling of her and that everyone can see how he is trying to gain from Casey’s story. Casey also states soon everyone will know that Jesse didn’t treat her or Caylee right, allowing for the assumption he abused both Casey and Caylee. Perhaps she will write it in the book she is so eager to have published.
Casey goes into great detail about her allergies and her skin break outs. She is also very eloquent in her writing about her faith, and the fact that God is her Daddy. Which to me, seemed forced and rather creepy, as if she had just read “The Shack” and she wants everyone to know how enlightened she is. At the same time, being sure to point out that Jesse and his Dad are kooks for their faith.
To me, these letters prove several things beyond a shadow of a doubt. Casey is very self absorbed. Casey is very immature. Casey does not know how to show real emotion. Caylee had a very short sad life. She only mentions “Cays” several times, but says she misses her and wishes she could have her home.
Casey then goes on to say if she could have one super power it would be flight- hmmm I would think it would be time travel, so she could go back and save Caylee from Zany, whom she writes, was only supposed to keep Caylee for a couple of days- But she forgives her friend of 4 years, because she knows she didn’t hurt Caylee, and she understands why she hasn’t come forward and is in hiding…..
Casey writes in a very immature way, and to me, only confirms the fact that her diary page -Seize the Day- most definitely could have been written by Casey in 2008 and not by Casey in 2003- In these jail house letters she even forms her letters with the little round dots at the end of each letter in the alphabet used just as she used within the diary. To me, this is the Bombshell.
I also noticed the fact that Casey confirms several times, that her lawyer is passing letters to her family. Which I also think is a set up for a mistrial.
I Look forward to reading others take on these letters.

Blink could it be that Baez did not object to the release of these letters because in the end, as you have said many times, there could be a plea deal in the making? Or could this cruel “B”(rhymes with witch)really throw here folks under the bus, no wonder she doesn’t talk to them, I wonder if C and G even for a moment think that they could posibly have the finger pointed right back at them. I am a victim of child abuse I didn’t end up killing my kids and if that fact is used as motive or “excuse” will outrage me to no end, was that information in those letters a set-up to get folks to look at Geo as ome kind of sick a twisted perp, right now I feel a lil repeat lil tiny tid bit sad for him.
I have only read 30 pages and can’t wait to read the rest, I know I am all over the place with this posting I am just stunned, if indeed, as it has been reported that she changed her story a number of times in these letters she is toast (with butter and jelly)

Oh, I just wanted to mention one other thing from the letters today- Casey wrote that she absolutely hates, despises, bugs and spiders. This made me think of you and your theory that the duct tape was placed on afterward.
There was a lurker, a mom, here on BOC, not too long ago, that wrote a comment that Casey may have put the duct tape on in order to stop bugs from escaping Caylee’s mouth. I wonder if Casey’s “boys” read here and got that little scenario here. It seems as though Casey was sure to address many of the internet concerns with these letters, or at least made a futile attempt to clear things up- Like the sexual abuse question, the back acne question, the jail communication question the seizure question ect-

Casey Anthony’s Hatred and Disgust Towards Her Mother Cindy Reflected in Jailhouse Letters Along With Brother Lee’s Sexual Molestation

Casey Anthony’s hatred towards her mother Cindy is clearly shown in her jailhouse letter writing. I believe that there is a great chance that whatever Casey wrote in these letters is true. While she has lied so much in the past, she lied verbally.
She consistently verbally lied to authority figures- to the police and to her parents. She lied to her friend Amy Huizenga, only where there was something at stake- like money. Since there is nothing at stake with her new jailhouse friend and since she has nothing but
time on her hands, why not say all that is on her mind? That is exactly what Casey did in these letters.
CASEY WROTE THE LETTERS NEVER THINKING THEY WOULD GO PUBLIC
When one verbalizes and when one writes to get their points across, there are two distinct different areas of the brain that are in operation. There is usually a lot more editing when one communicates verbally and a lot less editing with the written word is communicated.
Psychologically, when Casey wrote those letters, there is no way she EVER thought that they would become public. After all, it was the prison guard who was actually helping Casey get those letters to her new friend. In a million years, simple minded Casey would never believe that her information would now be public and would now be used against her.
I can’t help but wonder if the prison guard and the prison staff allowed the liaison between Casey and her jailhouse friend to flourish so that perhaps Casey could release some pertinent information. There are jailhouse snitches who help gather information which can be used against a specific criminal so who’s to say that this didn’t take place here?

So when Casey opened up and shared her deepest feelings about her mom Cindy, she was telling the truth, In fact now that we know what Cindy was doing it all makes more sense. We see exactly what Casey was talking about.
Casey writes to her new Jailhouse friend that she is upset that her mom didn’t come to visit her on a particular Friday because she was off gallivanting on Meredith Viera’s Today show.
Casey was equally sickened that her own mother Cindy trademarked Caylee’s name so she could use it to make money off of the tragedy, Casey was also livid that Cindy was also trying to now capitalize off of Casey’s name and trademark her name as well.
While we can’t sympathize about much when it come to Casey Anthony we can definitely sympathize about what Cindy has done in this instance .

Wooo Hooooo!!! A friend who works with the SAO texted me earlier with some wonderful news. CINDY ANTHONY IS (AND HAS BEEN) THE FOCUS OF A SEPARATE CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION!!! Who knows what may become of this, but IT IS ON. She and her merry band of THUGS are being looked regarding lying to authorities, manufacturing false evidence, falsifying documents, tampering/destroying of evidence, witness tampering, misleading investigators
, abuse of LE time/resources and overall obstruction of justice!! WOW—I never realized she was such a diabolical ringleader (not to mention a truly mean-spiritied and nasty woman). She has stomped on far too many toes for authorities to let her get away with this……and the state of FLA intends on prosecuting her to the full extent of the law. Shame on you, Cindy!

Chica, I believe that Casey wrote those letters hoping they would become public. Those letters are so pretentious, contrived. Not one word from the heart. She wants to paint herself as a victim and hopefully gain the sympathy of the jury. This girl cannot be trusted. Everything she does, says or thinks is a set up for her personal gain.
Funny thing is, I think these letters prove she is narcassitic, devoid of grief from Caylee’s death and a plethora of other psycho babble adjectives. Her thoughts in those letters easily go from one topic to another. Baez knew of these letters, imo. Casey, in her mind, is not guilty because even her reasons for killing Caylee were good ones in her mind.

Just had to copy and paste Cheney Mason’s comments in his OWN words BEFORE joining the defense team- Maybe when the defense team filed that motion about the blogs/media being bias and Casey not getting a fair trial they should have added Mr. Mason’s own comments to their exhibit! Hmmm- Here is what Mr. Mason said himself!!! Defense attorney Cheney Mason said “claims made by Casey Anthony and Baez that Caylee was alive will now work against them at trial.””Then all the talking, all the press interviews and the parents going on this show and that show and the lawyer going on different shows establishes they have NO credibility whatsoever,” Mason said. “You can pretty well predict there’s going to be a life sentence, either a plea and get it over with or have a circus trial and then be convicted and get life,” Mason said.”
More damming words from Cheney Mason before recently joining Casey’s defense: “Knowing what I know at this time, there’s not a snowball’s chance you know where I put her on the witness stand,” Mason said.
“Why is that?” Pipitone said.
“Well, because there’s so much to cross-examine her about,” Mason said.
“Do you just say, ‘The defense rests.’ Don’t even put on a defense?” Pipitone asked.
“There’s a good chance that would be the case,” Mason said.

Wow, it’s been slow here it seems since I’ve been gone … not nearly as many blog entries as I’m used to. Where is everyone???
On another note, anyone want to comment on the latest that the defense wants Strickland gone from the case because of reports he allegedly interacted w/Marinade Dave on his blog and the defense is now saying that is biased and is cause for concern for Casey’s case? News also reported Marinade Dave supposedly made comments along the lines of “Death to Casey” or something along those lines. I used to visit Dave’s site here and there in the past and from what I could see at the time anyway, it seemed he was fairly bi-partisan for the most part in regard to Casey at least getting a fair trial.
Blink … what are your sources telling you about the latest defense motion with the Strickland issue? Will Judge Strickland really be removed from this case pushing the future trial back even farther than 2012??? Please say it isn’t so!
I do not believe Strickland will be removed, and I think this is a ploy to set up appeals.
