North Garden, VA– Morgan Harrington, the 20 year old fair-haired, radiant beauty, was brutally murdered after disappearing from the John Paul Jones arena the evening of October 17, 2009.

Morgan Bridge

Morgans remains were recovered the morning of January 26, 2010 in a hayfield on Anchorage Farm, owned by David and Nancy Bass.

Since Morgan was found by Mr. Bass that blackest of days in January, there has been rampant speculation about her last hours and how she ended up in the creek bed of total strangers.

A sequence of events and incidents in the days and hours preceding and following the January 26, 2010, discovery of Morgan Harrington’s skeletal remains on Anchorage Farm continues to attract attention from pundits and volunteers dedicated to Morgan’s cause.

Although naysayers point to a lack of a viable connection, and police have disavowed a link, others say emergency services runs to a nearby fire and also other responses which are  not supported by publicly available documentation has led to calls for more complete disclosure to eliminate any connection or chance of prank calls to misdirect or busy first responders.

The editors of www.blinkoncrime.com present  a series of events occurring in Albemarle County, VA that pose the question:

What the Hell is going on and what does it have to do with Morgan Harrington’s murder?

The Monsoons of Albemarle County …. PD

Ok, maybe I meant “The monsoor”. Karl Monsoor that is.

Former Officer Karl Monsoor had been tugging on the shirtail of ACPD for years before he finally left with pocketfuls of sunshine. Almost 500 G’s.

It is not my intention to be glib, it is my intention to say that as one of the youngest police departments in the country, enacted in 1983, this tank needed algeacide before this past March.

Death By Cop.. January 1, 2010

Colby Eppard driver seatColby Eppard, described by some as a cross between Gomer Pyle and cool hand luke, had the rawest of deals growing up in Greene County.

According to his foster-mommy-aunt, Tammy Harlow Cox, Colby was hit by a car at a very young age and suffered a brain injury that apparently served to shape his future of home upheavel and juvenile detention facilities.

Ms. Cox, to whom Colby Eppard was entrusted for a time as a foster parent, is no stranger to the judicial system. Tammy was arrested for admittedly having sex with 3 High School seniors athletes on the Varsity Football Team, where her own sons attended. The same school Colby elected to leave without his diploma.

Colby’s family recalls better times, and I don’t think anyone believes this is the last we have heard of this case.

Specifically under VA statute, Greene County Captain Randall Snead was out of his jurisdiction, both when he was called about Colby stealing the patrol car and the fact that he was in North Garden, Albemarle County, looking for it. It would seem the Greene County Roster could accommodate a deputy vs. a captain to respond, no?  Keep in mind, EVERY responding officer was put on desk duty pending the investigation, through at least February 9th, 2010.

While the attorney for the Commonwealth, Denise Lunsford has cleared all officers from all participating counties involved, none of the dash cams have been released despite requests through The Freedom of Information Act..

According to Ms. Lunsford, in an incident that spanned almost 70 miles and over 2 and a half hours where traffic was rerouted and stringers were used, Colby Eppard was allegedly wielding the 20 gauge Greene County Issue out the windows, not one LEO attempted to engage or respond to Eppard in an effort to get him to pull over, or negotiate his surrender at any time.

In fact, according to statements from Snead, Albemarle Deputies Fields and Marden, they were all in place on the south junction of 20 “in the event” he went that way, yet, they did not block traffic until after the stinger caused Eppard to crash.

My biggest question regarding this incident is: Did anyone ask Colby Eppard why he would take the truck and 2 rifles on New Years day ending up in Albemarle County?

Was it related to a New Years Eve occurrance of a friend, family member or associate of his? After Sgt. Hutchinson loses Eppard near the Nelson line, the next time he is seen is parked on Green Creek Rd, back in Albemarle.

What route did he take from 29 South to end up there? Was he seeking Red Hill Road where the overdose call came in to EMS the night before?

By all accounts he was a troubled young man with challenges throughout his young 18 years.

Additionally corroborated by those that knew him, he was never violent to anyone. There were over 6 Law Enforcement Officers from 4 different jurisdictions this man encountered before he hit just below Carters Bridge; 14 by the time the stolen vehicle ended up in the ditch.

Not one of them spoke or attempted to speak to Colby Wade Eppard at anytime he was on the police radio for over 2 hours. Was there an order given not to?

How is it that not one officer responded to Eppards threats, which were even being monitored by the media at this point in an effort to have a peaceful result to this situation?

Did Eppard have a cell phone with him and have the records been checked?

Cort EppardDid he call anyone, like Amber Rogers, his off-again girlfriend of 3 years? His brother Courtney or any of his friends?

In the preliminary release by the Virginia State Police, it stated Eppard returned to his crashed 2006 Ford Ranger truck prior to stealing the unmarked Green Cty car. If he were attempting to have a police stand off, why would he not take the two rifles he brought with him? He left his guns behind.

It also states in the report that Eppard is seen on the video from the STOLEN police car retrieving the shotgun from the trunk and loading it, how is that possible considering all the cameras are dash mounted?

Can someone explain to me how the officers have been cleared, but the footage of  both Eppards actions and their responses, the very evidence of the incident cannot be released? One of the officers involved, Caleb Marden, was fired for reasons nobody is willing to comment on.

There is only ONE way that is legal; if is part of an ONGOING investigation.

So what investigation is it an active part of?

(Editors note: If Mr. Eppard put ANYONE’s safety at risk through his actions, in the end, I say what happened to him was done to protect others, which I support. That said, as it was not so long ago a Virginia Conservation Officer was indicted for the involuntary manslaughter of a 16 year old kid whose girlfriend he was trying to grab out of his moving car, and later had the charges dismissed, I think it is worthy of conversation.)

In a SEPERATE arrest  on January 23rd, 2010, Jeremy Manning– Smith Manning Smith(JMS) with the cool  144 acre pad in Keswick, also indicted on 4/5/2010 , may turn to the fivefold plan to help him out. JMS keeps a cool $55K recession-proof wad around for emergencies. Mr. Manning-Smith is a long time composter, although he never really states what he is growing.

Lisa Powers, copperworks and the fivefold planners say burn the dung. They are pals, although I doubt she is securing his bond.

Cash Runs OUT.. January 24th, 2010

Jason Todd Cash, with NO CHARGES OR WARRANTS PENDING allegedly tries to kill a cop when he is stopped in Nelson Cty in a vehicle registered to someone in Buckingham County. Remind you of anyone? He ran from the scene, leaving the vehicle and eluded police on foot.

The vehicle was impounded. He apparently is driving on a revoked license, which county has that occurred in? We will get back to J-money.

NON Garden Party…. January 25th

At approximately 10PM on the evening of January 25, Albemarle County Fire and rescue services responds to a call at the 37 acre farm of award winning gardening and horticulture experts John Sauer and his wife Cathy Clary. It is listed as a tactical incident rescue and as of March 24, 2010 is still an open incident.  What was it? Who or what needed rescuing?

Mr. Sauer is the long-time gardner for Carr’s Hill, the residence of the President of UVA. Carr’s Hill was the former site of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity until 2003 when it was moved by the city to it’s current location on Culbreth. Ms. Clary is a horticulture proffessor at UVA, and most recently taught a home landscaping course which included a field trip the afternoon of Saturday October 17, 2009.

The Sauers are also members of Piedmont Landscaping Association, which is open to anyone in the landscaping field and the Virginia Cooperative Extension.

Interestingly enough, there were several fire alarm activations on the UVA campus on this same day. Faulkner House reported a residential fire around 4:10 am.

Threes Company,  Four is Combustible..Jan 26th

Sutherland Firefd

Sometime after 10PM, the residential fire at 3323 Sutherland Rd breaks out.

This would be the fire that is still an OPEN INCIDENT.

This fire,as you can see, was no curling-iron-left-on.

It allegedly started after the residents were asleep, although they had all apparently packed their belongings and were on a month to month lease, 2 had already moved out.

In fact, according to Peruvian vacationer and dog owner of Blanca, the pit bull that perished in the blaze, he was not aware of the fire until days after the fact because he was with friends in Peru.

Kevin Terlep

Convenient, if you ask me, as he has a previous weed distribution and subsequent traffic charge in December 2009.

Meet new pup to the left. In fairness to fair-weather k9’s of America, he was only asking for dog-sitting, and not on the lease.  Choose your kenneling wisely people.

The residential fire at the 3000 block of Sutherland Rd has some issues. For starters, you have the first press release regarding the possible accidental fire since as far back as 2003 before a cause determination has been made.

Additionally the release itself appears to have missed the fact that approximately 2 hours after the last apparatus departs, there is an additional call back to the property requiring 12 responders within minutes of the discovery of Morgan Harrington’s remains. They may have literally passed each other on Route 29; they definitely would have heard the dispatcher.

Sutherland

The former owner of the Sutherland property is buried on Anchorage Farm. A relative of the current owners has hunted the Anchorage Farm property.

The band in the image on the left is pictured practicing in the Sutherland home.

A firefighter, whose identity blinkoncrime is choosing to withhold, who fought the fire, without sleeping took an impromptu trip to New Jersey with his ..”aunt, uncle, cousin, his cousins uncle and a friend..” at 10:23PM January 27th, driving straight through without stopping and returned to North Garden by 1:45PM January 28th.  Through his own facebook postings, he spends the bulk of his time when he is not volunteering for the North Garden Fire Department at his cousins; a Toco Hill address also listed as the home for a recently released registered sex offender.

Retired Greene Sheriff Takes His Own Life.. January 28

There is no evidence to suggest that William “Willie” Linwood Morris’s suicide has anything in common with the Morgan Harrington’s case directly, with the exception that there are obviously folks that knew him as well as other individuals being discussed. I have spoken with a family member, and an individual who has known him for twenty years and by those accounts Willie was in deep discomfort from the tinnicus he suffered from.

He took care of every detail prior to ending his life behind the barn on his farm in Stanardsville, VA, including withdrawing the cash for his own funeral.

Willie Morris was found by Captain Randall Snead, who was allegedly supposed to be on desk duty until the Eppard case investigation was completed.  According to Commonwealth Attorney Denise Lunsford, that was not completed until February 9, 2010, almost 2 weeks later.

Cash is Busted on a Tip.. March 19

Not long out of Nelson County jail for a non-violent offense, Jason Todd Cash is being held in Albemarle County jail since his arrest around 1am the morning of Friday March 19.

One has to wonder if the tip about where Jmoney was hanging out on Secretary Sand Rd from his kin in Amherst.

Clint Cash, a registered sex offender was arrested in December on a felony parole violation and is facing some heavy time . His wife Donna, had just pled guilty to a misdemeanor the day before the tip came in regarding JT Cash’s whereabouts and received a suspended sentence.

Jason Cash was apprehended with help from Bink, the new Albemarle County k9 when the house he was staying in on Secretary Sands was raided and he attempted to stay hidden inside.

What are Coincidences… What are clues?

The aforementioned volunteer for NGVFD lives in same stretch of Secretary Sands Rd.

Yet another relative of Jason Cash, a registered Sex Offender, shares an employer with the cousin of “volunteer”, and volunteer; specializing in outdoor landscape lighting.

Colby Eppard was stopped in the area of Green Creek Rd that is a large parcel of land owned by  Cash family member.

As far as making allegations in this report, there are none. The investigation of the events contained herein are entirely based on public information and witness accounts.

I have come to the conclusion that while we cannot say specifically which one of the issues discussed directly relate to the murder of Morgan Harrington, a primary or secondary scene integral to the investigation of same, and the hunt for her killer(s), but I do believe the incidents need to explored fully in a public forum.

  3. Redrock says:

Often for no known reason, or something embedded in their rearing, people (usually men) can develop a sexual attraction to female footwear or articles of clothing. A woman dressing casually and innocently unknowingly may trigger a primal response from the 1 predator in 100 people drawn to the obscura of clogs or ballerina flats or boots or whatever. They could be attracted to a particular design on skirts or pants or a style of a blouse; could be a certain ruffle or silk fabric. For 99 men, it would be unremarkable dress. For the one, it dovetails into an irresistible urge. Since the boots were purportedly absent from the recovery, their role in the killer’s initial engagement w/ Morgan cannot currently be discounted.

I agree with this. But let’s identify that in that instance it has nothing to do with the intention of the victim or the unsubs perception of any of the other victims attributes necessarily. In layman’s terms under your comments, it could be anyone really that was wearing whatever “stimuli”..

“Yes, they are not Mary Janes, or Saddle Shoes. But they are hardly the 6 inch, platform, thigh high, black patent leather boots that fit in this Dominatrix/Stripper/Porn Star, “F*** Me” boots category.
I apologize for being crude…I censored myself a little bit…lol”

I totally missed the Ferrari linkage, what a moron I am.- B

While I found this particular aspect of the discussion a bit entertaining, I asked hubby what he thought of Mr Speaker’s remarks. He thought that a woman w/ a mini skirt & boots would attract extra attention as this attire is usually thought to be an attractive look to most males. He emphasized while normal people would look and say” gee she’s good looking,” it also CAN attract nut jobs to look more closely with deviant thoughts in mind. I was rather shocked he thought that and immediately ensured he was aware that rape is a form of anger not sexual arousal. But he is of the feeling that a woman dressing in a flattering manner will attract all kinds and that is where the risk is involved. I am not sure how I feel about his reasoning, as I still think one should be able to dress in what makes one comfortable and happy. But until we remove the scum that is walking among us, I guess some think we should parade around with a berlap sack over our heads. I want to be sure NONONE thinks I think our beautiful Morgan advertised herself to be attacked! But I suppose until we know what kind of deviants we are looking for, it is hard to say what their trigger might be. ( Do they think their mother’s dress for men, and they now think all women want it?) Anyway, I thought that MAYBE Mr FS was really trying to convey this type of message and not anything more deeply weird.

To Minnie Penny, after your post about spring break locales and something else from way back you once said, I am of the conclusion we are from the same neck of the woods. Hello neighbor!

Last night I spent some time looking on the County Gen maps and land tracts. Once you have names and some relations down, it is very interesting to see so many friends and relations surrounding AF. I am still unsure of who lived at Sutherland, so I am likely missing even bigger connection, but I see what you mean by the fish bowl. I really wish we knew if EMH was on home tracking and what kind of distance he has to move about without being out- of –range.
His lovely friends may have brought our M right to the neighborhood and potentially did not alert anyone to him being anywhere but home. Ugh!.. such a waste.

Hang on Eloise, one difference, Morgan was wearing leggings under the skirt..

Is it fair to say the proverbial noose is tightening? (Or that the entire community is somehow interconnected through family and friends…?)

It’d be shocking to me, however, that such an amateur (no offense, t.a.) crime could be conducted without a spot of trace evidence left behind pointing to a specific individual/(s). To me that means the predominant perp is probably not registered in any sort of criminal system. And, to me, that points to a young person. More often than not, people don’t simply become violent rapists or murderers as they age into mid-life and beyond. (Sure, there are exceptions; but I do not believe exceptions make the statistical rule in this instance.) I may be tootin’ the ol’ Obvious horn, but… just sayin’.

With heartfelt sincerity to MarchmallowWI, Dakota (whoever he is and if he’s reading this), “BELIEVER” (from FM.com), et. al.: I appreciate the expressed concern that I have unwittingly shared personal information (aka “TMI”) that could lead Morgan’s BG to my doorstep. I gratefully accept this helpful feedback with due and serious consideration.

As B has highlighted in her response to MarchmallowWI’s above post, she and I had off-line convos very early on WRT to certain, additional personal and professional data points that I had previously shared with her confidentially. With her sage guidance (she’s the on-line guru-ess, where I am the admitted neophyte), I have intentionally withheld certain information–although I’ve admittedly shared other, perhaps-to-some-degree, revealing info.

B is again correct: No one is 100% safe as long as Morgan’s murderer remains at-large. [Note: I continue to believe that this individual is neither currently incarcerated nor deceased; oh, how I wish either were true. Rather, he's still lurking-about CV, mistakenly believing that he's sporting a telfon coat. Word to BG: You're not...but you just go right on believing that...]

For reasons I will by intent not share here, I have every reason to believe that Morgan’s BG is not and will not be focused on me. Please note that I do not offer that perspective lightly or without due–and serious–consideration.

A sincere thanks again to those who have expressed concern that I have placed myself in harm’s way by disclosing certain information. With your commentary it is again apparent that Morgan’s murder has brought about a wonderful community of concerned citizens who have banded together strongly not only in support of identifying and bringing Morgan’s murderer once and for all to justice, but in support of one another, as well.

    And justice he shall have.

    May that day come soon.

We have a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners program (S.A.N.E.) in my city–a specially trained R.N. or L.P.N. does the rape exam on victims and gathers evidence. I was a volunteer for this program for many years. Simply there to support the victim during the exam, hand-holding, kleenex fetching, or chatting, OR providing silence. Whatever the victim desired. Lots of reassurance about the fact that it was not her or HIS fault that she or he was raped. It is a lengthy and painful examination. Photographs are taken of injuries. Follow-up services and counseling were then explained and offered to victims. FABULOUS program for any of you might be interested.

I also volunteered one or two days a month to answer our city’s rape crisis line. Good program.

I can reasssure the regular posters on this site that we women of C’ville are VERY worried and angry about this crime–and the fact that the police are giving the public so little information. One thing I wanted to mention: 2-3 years ago my son took wrestling at Onesty Hall (next to U Hall on the right). I had to drop him off and pick him up there in the dark during the winter months (7:00-8:00 pm). I HATED doing this! It was sooo dark, so deserted, so scary! I could not park close enough to feel comfortable with it. I looked all around and then ran–either inside or to my car. I ALWAYS felt that the area was dangerous for women; when Morgan disappeared right near there, I was struck again by how frightening I had found it over there. I think it’s possible that a predator has been aware of the area for some time.

OH I agree Blink. I think she was fine. I was trying to convey a possible male point of view, which is difficult since I am not one. I knew I should have left it alone. I was and am still shocked that men ( like my husband) think so differently than what we women think, does that make sense?

TO: Saramom: The S.A.N.E. program you mentioned is one of the very best there is. I’m so glad you brought this to light for readers, and also mentioned the PERK–”Physical Evidence Recovery Kit”–used to gather evidence after a sexual assault. You are right: collection and processing of a PERK is a physically and emotionally grueling experience.

On behalf of all survivors out there, thank you for volunteering your time to be with these women in perhaps one of the darkest hours of their lives. I do not know you but feel safe in saying that your service to these individuals has been invaluable. [I know; I used to train volunteers like yourself.] You will never know much your presence in the ER meant to those women.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I do believe the fishbowl is shrinking. It started out the size of SeaWorld, now it’s down to the size of a tank you’d see at the local Petsmart. Hopefully soon it will only be big enough to sustain a couple o’ goldfish. It seems as if with every drug arrest, a dealer throws the next under the proverbial bus. Thinking optimistically, the most recent one seems to have hit close to HOME. There’s more deals being made in Charlottesville than at a Toyota dealership.

Yesterday night I read through a few of last year’s posts on this case. As I have never been to Virginia, it is a bit difficult for me to judge, but what caught my eye was that Observer said very early on that there were plenty of opportunities for a Bad Guy to dispose of a body on the countryside.
Looking at the aerial maps – there are so many wooded areas. We all agree that the Bad Guy must have been familiar with Anchorage Farm. He must have been there before, fairly recently, and he knows how to move around on the countryside. So, my big question is, why didn’t he know any better place to hide the body? Even is he was young and amateurish, which I believe he was, why not chose, for the sake of the argument, the woods next to Anchorage Farm.
In my view, he chose the general area, because he knew it, and because he was either headed there to get home anyway, or because he had friends there.
This brings me back to what at friend from LE told me a while ago (LE from a different country with no previous knowledge of the case). She said she was left there as an embarrassment. And indeed, what is the exact location of the body? It is on the border between Anchorage and Blandemar Farm. These are the two parties he targeted.
The more I look at this, the more this appears to be the work of someone who lives in the direct vicinity.

In Virginia, is it considered a fashion faux pas to wear a skirt without leggings underneath? Some outfits look just as nice with or without them and rather silly to suggest she was less than conservative as a person if she did. Morgan left home wearing them but realistically there are a number of reasons she may have taken them off. Unless you were Morgan herself no one truly knows for sure.
Perhaps someone can get a clearer image but doesn’t the braclet this blonde is wearing (left arm) look like the one found on her remains? Frame 0:10

Also, if you look closely at the video images released on Nancy Grace the buzz on this girl’s face is not someone that is exhausted and going straight home to bed imo.

Based on B’s hint, the bones must tell the story. In my heart and mind, I’ve always assumed that she was. Some killers don’t rape, but I think the nature of this crime screams it.

“ohiomom says: April 23, 2010 at 1:20 pm SadieBlue, a quick question. Who killed the sheriff’s wife and the officer? Were they killed by the bad guys or by the police?”
Wow, ohiomom, your story about the woman was awful! I wish those police had helped her in time. The story I shared was about Mellie McDaniel, the wife of Jackson County Sheriff John McDaniel. She and a Deputy were both killed by the two bad guys who had followed her home that day. Then other officers arrived on the scene and there was a gun battle and the two bad guys were killed. I forgot about an unusual twist in the story, quoted from the article I’ve linked to “McDaniel’s father was gunned down while working at a Jackson County gas station in 1980. McDaniel, then a sheriff’s deputy, responded to a robbery call to find his father, former Malonen Mayor John P. McDaniel Jr., shot to death. Serial killer Henry Lee Lucas confessed.” The article link is here: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,248860,00.html

“MsLAL says: April 24, 2010 at 12:34 am (all comments to me)” I am so sorry for what you went through. That was horrible. I’m so thankful he dropped you back off and did not kill you. In his mind he probably did you a favor of some kind by dropping you back off, who knows what a sick mind like that thinks! I am just so thankful that he did just drop you off rather than using something in his home to hurt you further, since you said he had weapons and could have done so. What an awful ordeal to go through. I think it is important for you to share this type of experience though, because it could help others of that age group to see the dangers around them that they may still be unaware of. Thank you for sharing that with us.

I pray Morgan’s killer is found soon. I hope no one is upset with me over my posts regarding how we dress and I hope I’ve explained myself. I never blame crime victims for what has happened to them. Not ever. It is always the criminals fault, no matter what.

    Morning all,

Sigh. I share everyone’s frustration, but I also feel as if last week, we made strides, and I don’t want anyone to forget it. There *is* simplicity to be found in the wide net cast here (and, for the record, I agree that looking at Bass is distraction), but we can’t stop looking.

I guess my Pollyanna spin on what I’m reading is that some folks got incredibly uncomfortable last week, whether they were our perps or the crucial folks who know him/her/them. They read BOC this week and might believe they can breathe easier after all. That has its up shots …

But c’mon, everyone. Let go of the understandable frustration and let’s look again at the aerials from t-shirt discovery. What’s going on with all that vegetation around there? Is there a path? What’s on the other side? Where does it lead? DOES it mean DNA results are in from AF (I don’t think so), but if so, what does that say?

Let’s locate that accountant so we can figure out why, in a crowd that apparently did not notice our girl, she had all eyes on Morgan not once, but twice. If she cared about Morgan, where’d she go?

What are the familial links b/n cheesy and the other boys? Let’s nail that down. Again, if not related, we need to find out so we don’t waste any more energy. (But I believe there’s a maternal/step-maternal link that connects more of these kids than we realize.)

And, whether related to Morgan or not, I want to keep pressure on about the T family + friend trip to Jersey. I hate the exposure for this kid, but I think it’s fair to want answers, as this is about someone who fought an unresolved fire on Sutherland Rd the same morning Morgan was discovered, then crossed state lines on a middle-of-the-night run somewhere. (Never mind the possible Cash associationS.) On a personal level, I am aware of the GF and believe her to be a kind soul–so I worry.

**Who provided weed, possibly more, to those who hung out and practiced in that house?**

I may flatter myself and everyone here in finding it telling that all our questions of last week *about someone volunteering and serving Albemarle County* did not elicit a reaction, yet another site’s and community’s rumors *during the same week* about a neighboring county’s deceased sheriff (all due respect to him) got a major reaction out of VSP. This is a kid who is alive and presumably serving the community, as did the deceased sheriff … Does that say anything?

Perhaps I’m carried away, but COME ON, everyone. Lots of questions, and I am convinced the answers are out there. Keep it up!

BTW I am nowhere near old or lazy, I have way TOO much to do with my time, I do not sit for more than a minute in a armchair and would not deign to use a recliner, and I do not drink KoolAid or expect my children to (i.e., I am a critical thinker and am raising them to be). We have interesting women (and men) on BOC, and would that some of these girls would listen to us, I think they’d benefit a lot. We are music lovers and concert goers, most of us, and sadly what draws us to Morgan’s cause is not boredom or laptops and armchairs, but the shared experiences and interests we continue to enjoy, yet she CANNOT. I appreciated your words, MsLAL.

    Moving on!

    Bravo.B

    County Police Make Drug Arrest
Albemarle County police have arrested two people they say were selling drugs at their Huntington Road home.

Officers seized more than two pounds of marijuana and 22 grams of cocaine, other drugs and a weapon, along with cash and drug paraphernalia.

45 year old Jonathon Eades and 22 year-old Dakota Eades were arrested.

The investigation is ongoing. If you have any information, please call CrimeStoppers at 434-977-4000.

I wonder if Dakota can be linked to anyone of our North Garden friends, Metallica concert, Greene Co friends, etc.

OK I’ll take the bait. What does the riot at JMU have to do with Morgan’s murder? The riot all seemed to be on film and still photo…so people could be picked out in a crowd. That would have helped in Morgan’s case. Are you thinking that if they have hundreds of photos of this riot that SOMEONE should have a photo of Morgan in Charlottesville on the 17th? I agree with that, for sure. LE raided the offices of the JMU newspaper for photos, taking away photos of things other than the riot. The ACLU will jump on that. Anything else? I’m trying really hard…I get so confused when we start thinking about seemingly random people and events. I’m trying to understand all the connections.

Fish was right there and saw it all.

Weren’t they the only news source originally to cover the small bomb that went off near campus on the 28th?

Question? In regards to the shirt, it was found in Nov- music connections- did they practice at the sutherland house?

Question?- in regards to the riot and the JMU News- are you saying they may have covered the concert and the bombing and may have pictures and info that the police now have?

Question? In regards to the bombing, Could there be a good possibility that some of the fires around the area have been started in much the same way, perhaps even the Sutherland fire?

Question? we have researched volunteer firefighters and late night trips to and from New Jersey. Are we missing something?

” questions of last week *about someone volunteering and serving Albemarle County* did not elicit a reaction, yet another site’s and community’s rumors *during the same week* about a neighboring county’s deceased sheriff (all due respect to him) got a major reaction out of VSP. Question? In regards to the drug arrests could there be a link between all of these things? “**Who provided weed, possibly more, to those who hung out and practiced in that house?**

I know Meth explodes if not properly mixed or something.. other drugs meaning what? Pills? meaning hashish? meaning oxycotin? meaning Speed, What?… “Officers seized more than two pounds of marijuana and 22 grams of cocaine, OTHER drugs and a weapon, along with cash and drug paraphernalia.”

Are we not aware of some of the same people that have been brought up are connected to the Sutherland house are there now possibly more connections that have come to light?

    What does it all mean?

Acho is right the answers are out there and he can not find them all by himself-

Usually when there is smoke , there is fire….- Are we close to finding the fire or should we be looking for the smoke to lead us to the haze of a different kind?

I like your reasoning… maybe the woods are too exposed.. they appear to be a bit easy to traverse, with the few paths and that suspected camp/hangout area that has been commented on in the past. The tall grass and wooded areas that are almost part of the border between the farms seem to be the most out-of the way. And the tall grass, even if she wasn’t left in the grass would hide the wooded area a bit. Man, do we have pics of what fall looks like on a similar farm? Hard to picture. I don’t recall if we have seen…

And ‘young and amateurish’… . Yes certainly doesn’t seem the work of a methodical person. If leaving her there was a was a thumb-your-nose kind of gesture… it would fit in with the game playing of the shirt… Your description fits what I always have in mind.. but ALL the theories seem to make so much sense. If you would, can you tell me on approximately what date you originally sent it and approximately when it was returned to you? [I don't need exact dates; am just trying to get a bead on whether or not the problem at the p.o. has truly been fixed--or not--as I know on what date I went to see the postmaster to address this issue.]

TO: anotherB, re: the location of Morgan’s remains: As you pointed-out from one of my very early posts, there are indeed countless places in the remote countryside of Albemarle County (not to mention, adjacent counties and areas) where a BG might leave a body. I remain firm in my belief that Morgan’s BG left her where he did on AF thinking that this location was remote enough–as it was–that she would not be found for some time.

I believe that the BG assumed that Mr. Bass would not have need to visit that particular area that is far from his main residence–or at least not go visit that area for quite some time. As it turned out, Bass would not have been there at all had there not been major downpours and downed trees immediately preceding Morgan’s discovery that resulted in Bass’ concern for the viability of the fencing in that remote location.

I think Morgan was left where she was not in an effort by the BG to make a public statement of sorts. Like some, I also believe that Morgan’s final resting place was not where the BG initially placed her, i.e., the nearby woods–although it was close by. Like you, I absolutely believe that the BG is abundantly familiar with this territory–and not familiarity based on being a guest hunter there once or twice.

I believe this BG is from this area and/or has lived in this area for quite some time…and he may well be residing in this county at this very moment.
