I freely admit I have caught many a fly in my trache while my yap was left hanging open at some of the legal filings by Jose Baez et al, in this case.
The latest motion to suppress the recorded conversation between convicted felon and “lifer” Robin Lunceford and Jose Baez has insipred the first ever Blink Darwin Award, or, THE BLARWIN.
In his Motion for a protective order to keep the call out of discovery, Esteemed Blarwin recipient, Jose Baez, claims he did not know his conversation was being recorded, and apparently, what type of phone line was being used although he states the call was transferred to his cell phone.

Pun intended. It would be impossible for him to be unaware that Lunceford was not calling from the Lowell Annex. As Baez is aware, inmates at Lowell Annex MUST have the number they are calling on an approved list in advance AND they may only call collect. From Lowell Annex Rules:
Incoming telephone calls for offenders will not be accepted. In the event of family emergency (such as serious illness or death in the family) you may contact the chaplain’s office. The chaplain will notify the offender.
Offenders, except those in administrative confinement, disciplinary confinement, close management or on death row are allowed to make collect telephone calls. Offenders are allowed to place up to 10 telephone numbers on their authorized phone list. If the offender has not placed your number on the list, he or she cannot call you.
Offenders can change their phone list every six months. There are two exceptions to this policy: < ?xml:namespace prefix =”" o />
- If someone already on the list changes his or her phone number, the offender can have the new number placed on the list.
- If an offender gets married, he or she can have the spouse added to the list.
All telephone calls are limited to 10 minutes and are subject to monitoring (except legal counsel).
Of course we all know that correctional facilities cannot monitor calls between inmates and their counsel. Ms. Lunceford is not represented by Mr. Baez, and if he were interviewing her as a prospective witness as he states, he knows full well he needs to pack the car and head on over to Ms. Lunceford’s pad after requesting the visitation officially.
If the first few meatless morsels of the motion don’t grab ya, I offer my personal fave. “It is a felony”. I have news for you Mr. Baez, the State has already listened to it. This would be how it is DISCOVERABLE, or subject to discovery in the first place.
Now, you know Jose copied and pasted some of the States own verbiage from the motion regarding Joe Jordan’s snafu. A surreptitious recording in a two way notification state is not even in the same zip code as a collect call from jail with NO EXPECTATION OF PRIVACY.
Is it me or does anyone else think this was an attempt at circumventing rules at the Pokey Mr. Baez is so famous for?
You know, the ole “Im willing to have her call me collect, bein’ that I’m on the list.. I will transfer the call to you-
-signed, unknown caller to unknown number sometime in early May.
HINT: If you want to claim something is work product you might not want to disclose portions of it in your motion. It just *Might* give the appearance you don’t want the recording out but want to make an accusation publicly that favors your client.
Bottom Line: An inmate placed a collect call, subject to the rules of the facility in which she is incarcerated. As dictated by protocol, the call was monitored and is therefore subject to public release. I for one, look forward to hearing it.
After all, it did earn a Blarwin, and I was saving that all year.

Caylee Marie Anthony’s grandmother said in her June 2010 “long hair” letter that LE must think she’s stupid and underlined it. No Caylee’s grandmother, LE doesn’t think you’re stupid but they do know you (and your husband and your son and your inmate murdering daughter) are CONNIVING which explains why it appears like you don’t have any common sense. I do not understand the whole Ginny having a problem getting her phone records to LE or DC- She seemed really buddy buddy with Dom up until then.
DC writes to Luke saying (PP)please have them send the records ASAP- the media is having a feeding frenzy and she is the only one that can help she told me to go there(suburban) for “…” What is “…”
When I first began reading these emails it seemed so blatantly contrived but comical… Now I see there is nothing funny about any of this -nothing – It is all so blatantly sad.

Oh my goodness! I can’t believe that the Anthony’s ENTIRE investigation consisted of a Private Investigator whose “investigative team” was a bunch of psychics. Almost everything George and Cindy Anthony said to the media was in those emails from the psychic. “Caylee has been moved around” “She is in PR” “The abductors are being watched”, etc. Cindy bought this hook line and sinker.

How much more crap can we see with this family ! I truly believe that they knew early on that Caylee was dead.. I think they were told it was an accidental overdose.. I keep thinking about Baez first papers he submitted saying that .. I don’t for a moment believe that Cindy, George and Lee thought Caylee was ‘missing/kidnapped’. Having started the reading of the emails recently released, it must have seemed like manna from heaven to Cindy when Dom Casey came on the scene with his bunch of wackos, intimating that Caylee was here, there, everywhere. That Tony, Jesse and uncle Tom Cobley were all involved. Not for a minute do I believe the Anthonys expected to find baby Caylee alive, nor do I think they were strung along by Dom Casey and his sidekicks – they strung the PI and his friends along!! This case absolutely sickens me and the sooner it gets to Court where God willing some brave person will come forward with the TRUTH for once, the sooner Caylee will have the justice she so deserves. JMO.

Mom 3.0 I answered this earlier, but no way you could have seen it.
When I was called in to the Sheddy case by Christine’s Mother, Luke had been working on it for some time, and his work, unknown to me at the time, does include the work of psychics.
I found Luke to be a very sharp guy with excellent terrain and aerial analytical skills: He put up his own money to fund some of the searching activities at the farm, again prior to my involvement in the case.
We spent the day on the Byrd Road Farm which was over one hundred degrees with 30 mph winds tromping through woods, weeds, dirt and swamps. I can’t articulate how vile the place was. Keep in mind, I have never released the actual un-edited footage shot that day.
While developing the case file, I read the “reading” of the Vincent sisters, and to date, I have not been able to verify a shred of it, but Lynn feels these ladies were helpful in finding clothing of Christine’s that had been left in an outbuilding, but never recovered ( and still have not been until Christine was located).
Luke will be the first to tell you I am clueless as to the dowsing thing, and with much respect, I do not get the whole psychic as a resource thing as I am a facts only gal so…
Both Luke and Lynn Dodenhoff were aware of my immediate dismissal of such resources, and to my knowledge, Lynn feels the sisters are kind and well meaning, so I will have to go with her endorsement as I have never had any contact with them.
As an investigative analyst/journalist, I have learned there may be about a total of 5 psychics in the world that can accurately “envision” facts or perps or occurances in cases, but I can assure you that you will never hear about them. They know that attempting to provide such information for profit immediately alters the objectivity of the individual.
As far as Ginnie Lucas/Luke Phillips is concerned, and I have told Luke this, so I am not speaking out of turn, I have yet to see this woman right about anything, and it seems pretty clear to me that her intentions were less than pure.
My limited interactions with Luke on the Sheddy case, outside of the use of “psychics” issue, I have found him to be professional and knowledgable, and supportive of the Sheddy family.
As far as the psychic thing- no, I have not worked with either the sisters or Ms. Lucas, nor have I met them, nor do I plan to, at any time.
The only thing I can state after reviewing their work and the outcome results of the cases is that they were completely inaccurate.

Caylee Marie’s case is extremely important to me, but at blinkoncrime.com, we prioritize our caseload based on whether or not a victim is still missing, or whether or not a suspect has been apprehended. In Caylee’s case, as maddening as it is, we have both those factors.
I promise you will have plenty to chew on in the next few weeks, until then, you know you can swing on a vine in the Scared Monkeys forum if you like

I come here everyday and check in throughout the day. I only comment when I can’t figure something out. On the most part I don’t comment because all of you Blinksters are already setting the record straight for me or telling me through your comments what I need to know. So to answer your question, I have not abandoned the site.

I very much appreciate it. You are right, I didn’t see your answer to the question prior to my asking, and my 2:20 am post was my attempt to let you know that I had seen your answer to Kleat, and there was no need to go further.. (at that time my first post was still in moderation)
You always tell us this is a learning blog and I have learned a great deal. Here’s what I ‘ve learned from all this:
I should never assume anything.
I should never base my opinions on someones intentions, on 1 piece of information.
I have no knowledge of dowsing or physics.
I should always remember that these “characters” I read about, who are involved in these cases, are real people with real feelings and I couldn’t possibly know their intentions or what is in their heart.
I must remember that victims are desperate to find answers and many turn to alternative means, of which I know nothing.
From what you have explained, Luke seems to be a kind person, who legitimately tries to help victims and their families.
Perhaps the emails just painted him and Ginny in a not so flattering light.
Thanks again for giving me your perspective and for teaching me a thing or two.
I must admit that now I do not know what to think regarding how DC came up with the location of Caylee. Perhaps I will learn more come trialtime.
Back to sticking to what I know- which isn’t much.

What I’ll be even more interested in knowing is in regards to the ‘investigation’ into Dominics’ supposed ‘sureveillance’ people he had in Florida, N. America and PR. Not to mention all the other area’s they ‘devined’ Caylee to be found. I don’t for one second believe that Dominic had anyone watching or investigating anyone anywhere. He was a novice PI, just beginning his career. What did he do before? With no income, how did he afford to have 24/7 surveillance anywhere? Where there just many, many kind souls helping him out? I hope he gets on the stand and the SA asks him to point to the people in the gallery who were helping him watch those properties in Puerto Rico, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas, California etc., etc., etc. Dominic is even more full of sh@t then any of the Anthony’s or Baez. He and his looney “Psychics” were just too happy slapping each other on the back for all their investigative internet searches. Everything they “dug” up or “visioned” were nothing more than simple internet searches, and even then most were completely wrong.
Judge Perry – Please, even if it means extending the trial date. Wipe this case of all these loonie’s including the completely inept Baez/Mason clownishdufense. Assign casey a true, competant DP qualified attorney and let’s get on with finding closure and justice for an innocent darling child, murdered vicously in her 2nd year of life. This circus needs to close the tent and be brought under control. We, the Florida taxpayers, and those who live elsewhere following this case deserve better. Our hard earned money that is given to the State in trust for the greater good, deserve better. A beautiful child, that has been completely forgotten and denied by her family, CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY, more than anyone, deserves better.

And as for the parents, Blink this is a question for you if you know, at the Caylee Daily they had an article about the mail Cindy sent with Baez’s address on it, will there be any charges in regards to that, on that site they said maybe, I read there but dont post there or ask question as I don’t trust the info posted there, I read every site in regards to Caylee, and I just was wondering if that is indeed the case, you know from the beginning I have been uber passionate about holding these Worlds Worst Grandparents accountable for their bad deeds. You had mention to me once (something like) that Casey’s trial is of course more critical then pressing charges againts the A’s, what is the statue of limitatons(?) on their bad deeds? I would hate to see them run completely scott free from their role in this nightmare…thanks

Technically speaking, yes, if a FEDERAL prosecutor could prove that Cindy Anthony did in fact put Baez addy on the return envelope with the intent to commit fraud.
This falls under the same gaggle of BS that has saved her and George’s humps time and again-
Nobody wants to arrest the grandparents of a murdered grandbaby with a daughter awaiting prosecution for same.
I actually think it may be her goal to face some sort of defacto charges in this case, thinking it will get her off the witness stand- it will not.

I visit the site EVERY single day, morning, noon and night but only have bitter thoughts to record so would rather just keep up to date with doc. and video releases so that I am au fait with as much as possible when the trial eventually gets underway. I actually ‘yipeee’ when logging in, I discover Blink has left comments. It makes my day and I trust her never to leave me uninformed.

With Casey it was me me much like Cindy was raised! Cindys brother best said it! Cindy herself was spoiled rotten by her parents! Her education was paid by by them while Rick and his brothers had to pay for theis.
I recall Shirley being mad at Rick for something I can’t recall it was a conversation she had with LE I have always thought that !! Shirley too has a strong personality. She protects Cindy maybe not as extreme!
Weird family!! I don’t feel sorry for any of them ! They share responsibility in this ! I can imagine Rick plaseas thoughts as he sees the circus ! He knew cYlee would be found dead. Chica, i’m still here… always here or over at Val’s place, i just can’t post often, i have 4 kids- 2 grown and a 3 and 5 yr. old – starts school this year, busy, busy – also Finally potty trained that 3 yr. old – Wow last one and he was in no hurry – sorry O/T – i’m with you on anger and disgust as it seems most are, i can not wrap around these “people’s” behavior, i will need therapy before this is over, can’t get how i believe they knew Caylee was out there, and didn’t have the compassion/love to go get her – sick, and for what? to protect casey-if i knew a child was rotting in the woods, even if i didn’t know them, i would have to find them and bring them home- especially one of mine – sick! normal grandparents who truly know love would do the same – i question c+g’s understanding of love.i’m so sick of ALL of these people – burn in Hell! sorry Blink i want to throw up – she deserved better…(biting tongue)

I think I might qualify as Chief Lurker as being in the UK I have to seek out news on the Caylee Anthony case (not the casey case!) and I am so fearful of missing something I check out here on Blink every time I get near my pc. Could it be I have OCD (obsessive-compulsion disorder)? No, just a truly strong desire to see Justice for that beautiful little girl. I had my young grandchildren a lot this past week as they are on school holiday and I look at them and know that my husband and I would lay down our lives for these little ones, as would their parents. They say you need to spend a day in someone else’s shoes before condemning them; if I were to spend the rest of my life in C, G & Lee’s shoes I would still never understand their behaviour. Why can I, a complete stranger, feel such bereavment at the loss of this child, yet her own kin folk appear to be dedicating all their time and energy on protecting her suspected killer? When did you see C, A or Lee breakdown in tears when talking about Caylee? I tragically lost a beautiful 4yr old brother years ago and we as a family still weep when going through the photo album, the hurt is as cruel and difficult to cope with today as it was then. Yet this family is able to carry out interviews on high profile TV shows, laugh and joke in Court, scheme and manipulate without displaying a shred of distress. How do they manage this?
Just thought I would write my thoughts down to help keep Chica on side!

I think that the reason cindys brother Rick and others aren’t in court because they know that the a’s are sooo wrong immoral and disgusting. I think cindys mom is the only one that is talking to her!!
She Cindy is an embarassment to them. Cindy was raised spoiled by her mom we see the bratty results as she passed it on to Casey until caylee was born it was she than that was spoiled
thus causing hate and jealousy with Casey . Cindys family dynamics made her the evil person she is.

I think that Cindy’s throwaway comment she gave to media reps. in an impromptu press conference while on her busybody way says it all. “I don’t want to lose another one.”
Caylee is gone;nothing can bring her back. Why sacrifice “another one”(Casey)? Cindy is a pragmatist. Whatever works and whomever suffers. The end (saving the other one) justifies the means.
