On what is Kyron Horman’s 8th Birthday, the Skyline School, where Kyron was scheduled to begin the third grade, is buzzing with the start of the years activities without him.

In response to the disappearance and presumed abduction of the bespectacled herpetologist; Skyline has implemented a myriad of mandatory safety features as well as a state of the art security camera system. While complete with facial recognition capability, one face it will not be recognizing today, is that of Kyron Horman.
Although missing since the morning of June 4, 2010, there have been no updates from the many State and Federal agencies participating in the criminal investigation of his disappearance since August 12, 2010.
Adding to the mounting concern about the status of Kyron’s fate are the words of his own parents, Kaine Horman and Desiree Young.
“The police will not stop until they find Kyron and the harder they have to search–the harder this will get for you,” wrote Young. “You will go to jail and whoever has been helping you will have to talk police or they will go to jail.”
It is clear from Kaine and Desiree’s comments that they believe Terri Horman, Kyron’s step mom, is at least partially responsible for Kyron vanishing. While they stop short of naming any possible accomplices, Rod Underhill, the chief deputy district attorney of Multnomah County, Captain Jason Gates, Detective Bob O’Donnell of the Multnomah County Sheriff Office have sought the publics help to flush them out. Multnomah County Chief Deputy District Attorney Rod Underhill said a witness, or witnesses, have reported seeing someone else by the Hormans’ extended-cab pickup while it was parked in front of the school between 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. on June 4, the day Kyron disappeared. In what was characterized as a slip-up, methinks that that Kyron’s Mom told us that someone was actually Kyron.
While Terri Horman is holed up at her parents newly refinanced home in Roseburg and under the mortgage-sized retainer protection of Stephen Houze; she is awaiting the September 21st contempt hearing for allegedly violating an order that she not disclose the “sealed” reasoning for, or contents of, the current restraining order in effect against her.

Rodolfo “Rudy” Estrada Sanchez
When reached at one of the numbers records show is billed in his brothers name, Jaime Estrada Sanchez, who uses the name Jaime Estrada on his carpet cleaning business website declined to comment to blinkoncrime.com and the number has since been disconnected.
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a close family friend who has since been interviewed by the FBI, has confirmed that Terri Horman is pointing her finger directly at Sanchez. She has also stated that she and Sanchez had an altercation after she attempted to end their relationship in May which ended in a 911 call and a visit from Clackamas County Sheriff Office in the presence of Sanchez’s wife and children. While it did not result in any charges, Horman told the source that the landscaper was furious with her because he is not in the US legally. While blinkoncrime.com has not been able to verify the date of the alleged 911 call, we have been able to verify that Terri called her Mother immediately following the incident and told her that Kaine had found out about the landscaper she hired to do what she referred to as “her yardwork” and when she informed him that she could no longer use him because Kaine was making her fire him, he lunged at her with Kiara in her arms. Kaine Horman denies the couple ever hired the landscaper as well as any previous information as to his estranged wife’s possible dealings with Sanchez.
It should be noted that Mr. Sanchez has not been charged with any crime in this matter and local references to his business are highly complimentary. In fact, Jean Ann Van Krevelen a friend and “mentor” of Dede Spicher has used RS Landscape Maintenance on a few occasions, leaving positive reviews on the ServiceMaster listing which deleted his business from the site on 6/21/10. Heather Walters, owner of Rosemont Farm,which is not West Wind Farm, where Dede Spicher was working the morning of June 4th and out of reach by phone from approximately 90 minutes, has never met Terri Horman or heard of their family prior to Kyron’s disappearance. When I asked her if she knew Rudy Sanchez or if she ever hired his firm to work at WWF, she replied “not that I recall, no, but we did have a blackberry clean up a few years ago so it is possible.”

Although records indicate that he was placed under post probation supervision by ICE on February 19, 2010, according to Mr. Sanchez-Sanchez Federal criminal docket after being “found in the US and apprehended” in August 2009” following a previous deportation in 2003, he was “administratively arrested” on February 23, 2010. A Federal Grand Jury’s subsequent indictment was issued on March 4 and he was immediately incarcerated.
Mr. Sanchez-Sanchez rap sheet includes convictions for rape, failure to register as a sex offender and a host of probation and parole violations prior to his deportation.
In what can only be categorized as a bizarre coincidence, Oregon BOP VINE network shows that on June 26, 2010, they very day of the “sting” involving Rudy Sanchez, Anselmo was transferred and released to “community supervision”. There is no record of either his transfer or his booking by MCSO July 8th on his docket. What is reflected on the record for June 21st, is the US Marshall Service requested a rescheduling of his plea hearing on July 1st - July 12th directly with the presiding judge outside of his Federal appointed defense attorney. Yep. Exparte. Mr. Sanchez attorney Allison Clark used the 7/12/10 court date to file a motion to quit the case. They have subsequently worked through their differences and were scheduled to appear yesterday, but a 4th continuance in the case was granted to reschedule for October 7, 2010. In that motion, Ms. Clark asserts that Mr. Sanchez has been in custody the entire time but that his records are difficult to retrieve so more time to prepare for trial is necessary. I’ll say.

Up until a few weeks ago, she was also very much the object of accusation by Desiree Young and Kaine Horman, as well as the investigators assigned to Kyron’s case. So much so, they released a flyer featuring the ginger ladies and the infamous white truck. LE has subsequently backed off of Spicher and publicly stated they do not believe it was her in the white truck in the lot of the Skyline School. Dede’s father is a semi-retired Klamath County Sheriff deputy. If it can be confirmed Spicher knew Kyron was missing on June 4th we have a very big problem.

Michael Cook
The source of both information for the contempt filing and hundreds of sexts exchanged between he and Terri Horman following Kaine Horman’s filing for divorce and leaving the marital residence as advised by MCSO, Michael Cook was a high school classmate of Kaine Horman.
Mr. Cook is also one smarmy dude if his former spouse Shannon has anything to say about it.
Oddly, blinkoncrime.com has learned from an inside source that Cook was not called before the grand jury to testify. In the instant action for contempt, Kaine Horman’s attorney Laura Rackner specifically references the “sexting” and the text regarding Houze’s fee as information provided by law enforcement.
So, was he acting as an agent for le or is he himself under investigation?
Jason Wishert
William Jason Wishert is undoubtedly wishing he had not interjected himself in this case. Apparently new to the blogosphere via a request from Maxine Bernstein of the Oregonian, Mr. Wishert took to what he saw as his *nuveau*cause*celeb* status with moxy.
That was until he announced his appearance on the scaredmonkeys.net forum to answer questions about the case and cry the blues when he accused the Oregonian of using his rough notes to skewer Dede Spicher. According to Wishert the “not a lot of kissing but plenty of telling” memo was not supposed to be published. About 3 minutes into his introduction to his “sleuthing public” Wishert was asked why he spelled his name incorrectly and if he was indeed the son of convicted child porn possessor William Kent Wishart. In a really bad move, Mr. Wishert denied the allegation and retreated with his tail somewhere on his person.
Kent Wishart, former CEO of Graphic Sciences, is in Federal Custody for the next 4 years for possession of child porn and engaging in a file sharing subscription for same. Jason’s brother Grant is an employee of GS. All three Wishert’s hold numerous active and inactive business licenses throughout Oregon and Washington. Graphic Sciences has a Mexican affiliate office.
Both Jason and his brother James Grant have had numerous legal entanglements (editor’s note: say it just like Chief Margie with the flat “a”) and our attempts to substantiate Jason’s claims about court appointed child advocacy certifications have yet to be confirmed.
However, with his Uncle John Kerr, Jason Wishert is heavily involved in the Friends of Pimpollo Charity which sponsors various children issues and an orphanage in Mexico. FOP is a verified charity with a 50% tax deduction rate according to IRS Publication 78 in good standing, but they are years behind in their annual reporting.

Today, Kyron Horman’s eigth birthday, may not bring us any closer to where our frog prince is, but we do wish to extend our thoughts and prayers in celebration of his special day to his parents, friends and family. Jaime Estrada paid to have a company set up his carpet cleaning website – the name is on the site. He may not know how to make corrections, or have paid much attention it yet. The pictures and the initial text would have all been set up by the company – including the spelling errors.
The Oregon Executives Assoc. that Jaime belongs to sounds like a big deal and says it’s exclusive with only one member chosen for each line of work. I believe they have fewer than 60 members total. They also have some well known names and have been around for decades. However, they seem to function like mentors for each other and to help promote each other’s businesses. Nothing wrong with that. They probably give each other discounts too.
My guess is that the executives group tries to maintain some diversity, Jaime may know someone in the group already, there wasn’t a lot of competition among carpet cleaning businesses to join, and Jaime didn’t have comparable organizations within his own industry to join at this time. He seems to be doing his best to establish a business that appears professional and competent. Just his vehicle made a big impression on me!
Dear Blink, about this current article… “Sanchez testified before the grand jury on August 4.” Did Rudy testify to the GJ on the 4th or on the following week on the 12th or both? And, does it matter?

Anselmo aka Freddy is 28 on the arrest document posted on this site, so I did a quick business search on Gabriel, Ayala, Alejandero and Martha. Only Gabriel came up. (side note, 2005 was a big start up year for Sanchez/Estrada)

Perhaps the “wrong middle initial” Gabriel drives truck with the “wrong middle initial” Ubaldo. Need to go back and look at the truck company link someone had on the last thread for Ubaldo.
There is also a Gabriel Sanchez (no middle initial) listed for Dorado Design and Const., Inc. registered to C T Corporation System 388 State St., Ste 420, Salem OR 97031, these people have CA addresses.

Unfortunately it gets confusing when additional names are thrown into the mix such as Ubaldo going as Fernandez or Fernand, or using B as a middle initial and I think there is an R middle initial with one of them as well. I have not figured out who is who yet.

If Ubaldo (R for Rodolfo ??)S is 40 and Elsy Mejia-Sanchez is 30 .. could be father daughter combo, athough Mejia would be Elsy’s mother’s name (I think). More likely, she has taken a man’s (Rudy or Jaime) Sanchez name as a family name for her children. If Elsy is not related to Ubaldo (in some way) I have no explanation as to why she lives at his address.
unless Elsy’s children belong to Anselmo Sanchez-Sanchez and he is related to Ubaldo, who is providing for Elsy and children.

Good point about more than one wife and, or mother of children. Annals had a link I checked out on KATU that Blink implied, if I understood correctly, the poster was Rudy’s wife. Maybe she was wife and mother of the seven year old and Elsy is girlfriend and mother of the five and two year old.
BTW I went to look at Facebook Elsy and her picture that we were all comparing to the missing poster a couple of days ago has been replaced. Elsy is dancing with a man and it’s hard to see what she looks like. Maybe just an innocent Elsy with the wrong name. Wouldn’t seem like a woman on the run with kids would be updating FB.
@ Kimberly – looks like there were at one time several Hispanic truck businesses in Hermiston area – they must have all known each other, it is a big agricultural region with famous watermelons. This is also a town near the junction of two interstates, though one only seems to go North and not south. Some of these people open and close businesses like pop cans. Why so many businesses, what to do with the $$$ maybe? (Laveria?)
Where DID TH get her money, still thinking she had a “side business” from the straight life, probably a bit of selling stuff, just a guess.
Kyron knew someone and did not have a lot of reason to be afraid of anyone (except maybe TH) so he willingly went in the truck with someone he knew, perhaps associates of RS, maybe Freddy Anselmo, maybe there were two guys and he was quickly drugged and taken – to the Eastern side of river?
We know Ulbaldo, Jaime and RS are related at least as far as knowing each other, probably brothers and/or cousins? Maybe LE is wanting them apprehended more than the Padre.
The southern Oregon connection (not TH I guess, unless they are keeping an eye on her) is quite likely due to the drugs coming up from Cali and Mexico and/or being grown in the warm areas of Southern Oregon which has a lot of very isolated forest.
@Cassie, if you live in Oregon and I think you mean you do, I think there are other Sanchezes in the State Prison system, thinking one might have been named Jesus or it might have been in the Wash. Co. jail if you want to see you old workers.

So, I have written on here, gosh, maybe hundreds of times so hopefully I won’t get the “smackdown” when I humbly ask if someone can please tell me what is going on?! estrada, sanchez, elsy, jamie, freddy, eek! All these posts with lists of names…what? I am lost. I do a good job of trying to keep up, but I am way off on the margins on this one!!!
Can anyone just summarize the facts so far as we know them. Do all of these names mean anything? Is there some real evidence of drugs, smuggling, trafficking going on, is this where the case is, or is headed? Is there information that Kyron was taken because of an affair? In relatiation of other children being abducted and who’s??!! Heroine, pot, sexual motivations. My head is spinning…And again, I have tried to understand, so please excuse my request, it’s not for a lack of trying :/

All of that said, the basic mission of both of these organizations is the same, to mentor and edify small businesses. Are they connected? I don’t know, but I would sure like to registration information on OEA. This, of course implies nothing about either of these groups, only to say that there could be a link.
I have been looking at this for awhile, but since you asked, I thought I would share what I have.

And – for those of you thinking of me driving around (thank you) – I was on the way to a Wendy’s tonight and passed the road that connects to Renada Street. At the intersection in the turn lane (going the opposite way from me) was a white pickup that looked very familiar with a blue tarp over some stuff in the back (it has been raining) and in the rear view mirror, I could see a Washington license plate. Same place I saw the Clean Factor carpet vehicle turning the time I “visited” the house.
Wanted to screech around and follow, but I had a child in the car with me and didn’t want to drive like a maniac. (chuckle)
I have wondered if Rudy’s truck had a WA license since Blink said it was registered in WA. (Someone else could be using it.) It was about 4:30 which would fit with the end of a work day for a landscaper (on a day that was rather damp anyway). I did not see any business name painted on the truck, but I declare the entire metro area is full of those trucks! It’s like the Twilight Zone where you wake up and every other vehicle is a white pickup.
I may give it another try – or maybe get a friend with a different car to drive me past about the same time of day. If there are a bunch of cars circling the neighborhood, it will probably be Blinksters. I would be interested in whether the pickup parked in the obvious parking spaces or behind the locked, no trespassing gate across the driveway – which you would have to be present to see at the time – or we could rent a helicopter.
I wonder sometimes if Rudy’s biggest mistake was to actually love Terri.

I got the impression that the OEA group was handed to him by an acquaintance–perhaps a teacher? A lot of Hispanics and other groups are ‘generous’ with their contributions to gain favor and spread the word about their business. He may have made just the right connection to get into this group, with the help of some diversity.
I’ve been lobbied many times by different vendors who thought they could gain credence by being my cleaner or painter or whatever. They’ve even offered free services. And I’m not even a player! I wish I could afford to engage them!
I just want to say that so many of these ethnic groups work us under the table and form our inherent under-class. Did our ancestors ever work that hard? Probably.

I still think it’s possible that the last we heard from LE in the way of evidence gathering, trying to ID a white truck and people around it, etc., might end up exonerating Terri from any role in disappearing Ky from the school grounds.
Before we drift away from what Staton said on Sept 15, and being a Big Picture person, I want to say this:
I hope that Kyron’s fate will become a vehicle used by his greater community to try to prevent future repetition of such tragedies. Prevention comes not only from rounding up the bad guys and all their colleagues, but from changing the environment that enabled them.
I think it’s possible that the school system and other govt. programs are candidates for a real close look. Staton said “govt. entities”–that doesn’t necessarily mean law enforcement.
Paraphrasing Staton, from the original raw video of the presser announcing Task Force creation (on 9-15-10):
After this is over, there will be areas of “concern” that will be addressed; the media will be a part of that; there may be “notifications” to “other govt. entities”. There could be other cases that may come out of it; wouldn’t say whether criminal cases or not [ie, could be civil]. This will come out at the end, at the debriefing, when we will all look back at it.
I hope no one will let Ky’s case be the end of this. If the local and larger communities allow that, then we shall all continue wringing our hands and crying over individual tragedies that should not happen.

Many times businesses simply don’t register with the State of Oregon Business registry for numerous reasons including avoiding the law. A few years ago, I was working on a case of a couple that sold vacuums in and scammed elderly in Oregon and had probalby a half dozen business registry names.
I said I would try to post my Blink quotes that “tell the story”. Well, I can’t! I’ve compiled what I have and it’s 24 pages long. The fact is that “the story” is going to vary depending on what the reader interprets from the various posts and quotes, which is the whole point of this forum. In addition, this story is not over, many questions remain unanswered, and it is constantly evolving. So call me a biscuit and butter my butt, because I still can’t quite see the forest for the trees! I am learning a lot though, which is always a good thing. I so appreciate everyone on here and would love to have a BOC convention, not unlike Twinkletoe’s dream.
Speaking of dreams, I will share mine from a few nights ago: I was at the Staton presser with all the media and he said “We’ve seen things we didn’t want to see”. So I said “Can you give us an example?”. Then Staton said “Yes, I can give you one right here” and he held up a big poster of TH naked, and everyone gasped and covered their eyes. In retrospect I think it was actually a nightmare.

I understand. But there is unaccounted time regarding her whereabouts the morning of the 4th. Could someone have called her on her cell after she dropped off Ky and left the school? Told her he/they had Ky on Sauvie Island and to meet them there. She panics and goes but doesn’t catch up with them? Maybe calls DeDe for help?
Could she eventually cut a deal with the DA if she “talks”? Do you think Houze knows more about Terri’s role in this than LE? Does Terri have any remorse over Ky’s disappearance…I truly wonder about this woman and WHY she got into this mess.

Well, its a WEED. It doesn’t take much to grow in the wild, as I understand it.
This may not be a popular statement but personally I think they should just legalize and or decriminalize pot. The effect would solve so many problems. How?
A friend of mine from Cali said they are voting on something soon which would allow a person a 5 foot square growing area (if they had it available) for growing their own. The state dispensaries still provide for those that cannot grow their own, and the goods are taxed by the state. There is now no reason for any idiot out there to try to sell it for profit because…..ANYONE can grow their own if they wanted to, for personal use only. This takes the criminal element out completely because they cannot make money on it. The dealers are pissed. It is still illegal to deal as growing is for personal use only, but in effect, they have cut down on court costs and jail costs that go along with prosecution for pot use and sales. (Again sales are down because there is no market.)
Prohibition DOESN’T WORK. That is how organized crime took hold in our country in the early thirties. If it had not been for prohibition, there would have been no need for the organization of criminals for running and consumption/sales of alcohol.
When it comes to harder drugs, I absolutely think they need to be taken care of by law enforcement.

@enumclawrose – a connection I see is that Oaxaca mission page originally has an address in Pasco, WA which is close across the State line to Herminston where Jaime had his truck business once registered. We haven’t “been” out in the Eastern part of OregonWash until this. And Oaxaca is one place where JW’s Christian charity works and these both have ties to Salem. Maybe they like to import the Oaxaca magic mushooms it is known for (that was probably a joke!)
I still feel like TH is a bit more (at least) than a vampire-door- opener. @kitjcat: I totally get you regarding the vacation. I have neglected quite a bit of the mundane chores I should have been doing, following this case.
re: Assumed business names as listed by the state-Rudy changed his biz name to a related name at one point, and there were other biz’ related to the Sanchez/Estrada family that went “inactive” and were later activated. (ie “Estrada’s”).
The frustrating thing about the state search engine (from my POV) was that you cant just put in Rodolfo Estrada or Rodolfo Sanchez and get a listing of businesses associated with his name. (Or the other players.) You kinda have to know the biz name to run it, but I could be mistaken that there may be a way to just run the persons name. If anyone finds that out, please show me. TIA

OMG, ROFLMAO!! That is exactly how I feel, Idahogal. It seems the more I read about this case the LESS I know. My fear is that Kyron will never be found, and the case will go into hibernation (just can’t bring myself to say “cold”).
I woke up thinking about his case this morning and all the possible players. I think regardless of what part RS played, it appears he is now seriously cooperating with LE. I recall reading in one news article that LE implied to Kaine they were looking into others TMH may have contacted for the MFH. Good grief. RS could be a red herring in the disappearance, guys. I do feel he probably told LE everything he knew about TMH, which is why they decided to wire him and send him in for the sting. Just a feeling I have.
I still keep asking myself “why Kyron?”, why would someone take him? And, each time I ask myself this question, it leads me back to TMH. I keep focusing on what Kaine said about her, how she was really good with Kyron in the beginning and how that changed later on. Maybe something was going on in her head, some kind of “distancing” from Kyron–but for what reason? A loving mother doesn’t suddenly or even gradually, for that matter, become less attached to a child she loves. And, what about her feelings for Kaine? I do believe she wanted someone to kill him, but why? Because she thought he had been unfaithful? Pretty extreme remedy, wouldn’t you say?
Some people have written that they find it difficult to fathom that someone who dedicated her life to children could harm a child she raised or be involved in a crime such as this. Well, I see it a little differently. How could someone who is supposedly so completely devoted to her young daughter come up with a murderous plot to take that daughter’s father away from her? The obvious answer is that she was willing to put her own sick desires above her daughter’s best interests.
I just feel there is a LOT more to TMH than many people realize. Maybe that is what Staton was referring to when he commented about knowing things he didn’t want to know. I am sure LE has uncovered a lot of really dirty laundry in the course of their investigation.
I just wish we knew more.

I agree about the mentoring thing but it could be much like groups such as BNI ( http://www.bni.com/ ). They give each other referrals and such, but, they are not so much in your business that they are going to be making sure you are above the board legal with what you do.
Jaime had a biz named “Estrada’s” registered in his name previously and he mentions being a part of the execs group for quite a few years, most likely under that business. I have not figured out yet what “Estrada’s” actually did.

Amen, Lyla. You know, I didn’t suspect TMH AT ALL when this story first broke. I didn’t jump on the bandwagon about her mannerisms at the press conference nor was I overly concerned about her hitting the gym or her musings on her FB page. My ears didn’t perk up until I heard about the MFH plot. And, boy, did that development pique my curiosity about her.
Regarding her cutting a deal if she talks: *If* she is the primary conspirator in Kyron’s disappearance, I would think not, unless she can cut a deal for leading LE to Kyron’s body or his location. If she is not the primary conspirator and is peripherally involved, then I would think there are many possible deals, but I will leave that discussion for newsatfive. If she is involved, it is entirely possible that Houze knows more about her involvement than LE.

@richM-i agree with the legalizing pot thing. i dont smoke it so it’s not about that. i personally dont see what’s any different about it than alcohol. i smoked pot in my younger years and it rendered me useless so i never liked it. alcohol, on the other hand, has created big bad huge problems in my family. the question remains, why do we want to alter our minds so much?

about tightening down school policies. well, i reckon there are certainly some things we could do to increase the safety of our kids. but, that would not have precluded this particular non-random event from happenning. they would have just found another place and way to do their deed. i think, as a society, we have to get out of that mode of throwing more rules at something every time something happens. putting out fires, so to speak. look at the gymnastics that goes on now to get on a damn airplane. they’re taking my frieking hand lotion if i have it in my purse, you cant go down to the gates and say bye bye to your friends anymore, getting thru security is way time consuming…..and i’m thinkin’ that if terrorists want to kill people, well, they’re just going to figure out how to do it.
we have to start looking at the root cause of our civilization’s defects. we cant just keep running around installing new laws for every single incident that CROPS up. would more people become addicted to pot if it was legal? me thinks not.

I’ll try it with and without a link. Without: once you’re at OR Sec of State Corp. Div. look at the very top. On 2nd line those are clickable links. Click on 2nd one from left: “business name search”. When you’re on a page that says “Search for a Business Name in the Business Registry Database”, look down, and on the far right. “Other Government Databases”–beneath that click on “By Individual”. That takes you to a separate page that lets you search by persons names.
Immediately following this post I’ll post the direct link to the page you’re looking for. If it doesn’t show up here, it’s something people seem to be finding problematic in BOC system.
