On what is Kyron Horman’s 8th Birthday, the Skyline School, where Kyron was scheduled to begin the third grade, is buzzing with the start of the years activities without him.

In response to the disappearance and presumed abduction of the bespectacled herpetologist; Skyline has implemented a myriad of mandatory safety features as well as a state of the art security camera system. While complete with facial recognition capability, one face it will not be recognizing today, is that of Kyron Horman.
Although missing since the morning of June 4, 2010, there have been no updates from the many State and Federal agencies participating in the criminal investigation of his disappearance since August 12, 2010.
Adding to the mounting concern about the status of Kyron’s fate are the words of his own parents, Kaine Horman and Desiree Young.
“The police will not stop until they find Kyron and the harder they have to search–the harder this will get for you,” wrote Young. “You will go to jail and whoever has been helping you will have to talk police or they will go to jail.”
It is clear from Kaine and Desiree’s comments that they believe Terri Horman, Kyron’s step mom, is at least partially responsible for Kyron vanishing. While they stop short of naming any possible accomplices, Rod Underhill, the chief deputy district attorney of Multnomah County, Captain Jason Gates, Detective Bob O’Donnell of the Multnomah County Sheriff Office have sought the publics help to flush them out. Multnomah County Chief Deputy District Attorney Rod Underhill said a witness, or witnesses, have reported seeing someone else by the Hormans’ extended-cab pickup while it was parked in front of the school between 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. on June 4, the day Kyron disappeared. In what was characterized as a slip-up, methinks that that Kyron’s Mom told us that someone was actually Kyron.
While Terri Horman is holed up at her parents newly refinanced home in Roseburg and under the mortgage-sized retainer protection of Stephen Houze; she is awaiting the September 21st contempt hearing for allegedly violating an order that she not disclose the “sealed” reasoning for, or contents of, the current restraining order in effect against her.
Accomplice, Witness, Opportunist or Collateral Damage?
Rodolfo “Rudy” Estrada Sanchez
When reached at one of the numbers records show is billed in his brothers name, Jaime Estrada Sanchez, who uses the name Jaime Estrada on his carpet cleaning business website declined to comment to blinkoncrime.com and the number has since been disconnected.
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a close family friend who has since been interviewed by the FBI, has confirmed that Terri Horman is pointing her finger directly at Sanchez. She has also stated that she and Sanchez had an altercation after she attempted to end their relationship in May which ended in a 911 call and a visit from Clackamas County Sheriff Office in the presence of Sanchez’s wife and children. While it did not result in any charges, Horman told the source that the landscaper was furious with her because he is not in the US legally. While blinkoncrime.com has not been able to verify the date of the alleged 911 call, we have been able to verify that Terri called her Mother immediately following the incident and told her that Kaine had found out about the landscaper she hired to do what she referred to as “her yardwork” and when she informed him that she could no longer use him because Kaine was making her fire him, he lunged at her with Kiara in her arms. Kaine Horman denies the couple ever hired the landscaper as well as any previous information as to his estranged wife’s possible dealings with Sanchez.
It should be noted that Mr. Sanchez has not been charged with any crime in this matter and local references to his business are highly complimentary. In fact, Jean Ann Van Krevelen a friend and “mentor” of Dede Spicher has used RS Landscape Maintenance on a few occasions, leaving positive reviews on the ServiceMaster listing which deleted his business from the site on 6/21/10. Heather Walters, owner of Rosemont Farm,which is not West Wind Farm, where Dede Spicher was working the morning of June 4th and out of reach by phone from approximately 90 minutes, has never met Terri Horman or heard of their family prior to Kyron’s disappearance. When I asked her if she knew Rudy Sanchez or if she ever hired his firm to work at WWF, she replied “not that I recall, no, but we did have a blackberry clean up a few years ago so it is possible.”

Although records indicate that he was placed under post probation supervision by ICE on February 19, 2010, according to Mr. Sanchez-Sanchez Federal criminal docket after being “found in the US and apprehended” in August 2009” following a previous deportation in 2003, he was “administratively arrested” on February 23, 2010. A Federal Grand Jury’s subsequent indictment was issued on March 4 and he was immediately incarcerated.
Mr. Sanchez-Sanchez rap sheet includes convictions for rape, failure to register as a sex offender and a host of probation and parole violations prior to his deportation.
In what can only be categorized as a bizarre coincidence, Oregon BOP VINE network shows that on June 26, 2010, they very day of the “sting” involving Rudy Sanchez, Anselmo was transferred and released to “community supervision”. There is no record of either his transfer or his booking by MCSO July 8th on his docket. What is reflected on the record for June 21st, is the US Marshall Service requested a rescheduling of his plea hearing on July 1st - July 12th directly with the presiding judge outside of his Federal appointed defense attorney. Yep. Exparte. Mr. Sanchez attorney Allison Clark used the 7/12/10 court date to file a motion to quit the case. They have subsequently worked through their differences and were scheduled to appear yesterday, but a 4th continuance in the case was granted to reschedule for October 7, 2010. In that motion, Ms. Clark asserts that Mr. Sanchez has been in custody the entire time but that his records are difficult to retrieve so more time to prepare for trial is necessary. I’ll say.

Up until a few weeks ago, she was also very much the object of accusation by Desiree Young and Kaine Horman, as well as the investigators assigned to Kyron’s case. So much so, they released a flyer featuring the ginger ladies and the infamous white truck. LE has subsequently backed off of Spicher and publicly stated they do not believe it was her in the white truck in the lot of the Skyline School. Dede’s father is a semi-retired Klamath County Sheriff deputy. If it can be confirmed Spicher knew Kyron was missing on June 4th we have a very big problem.

Michael Cook
The source of both information for the contempt filing and hundreds of sexts exchanged between he and Terri Horman following Kaine Horman’s filing for divorce and leaving the marital residence as advised by MCSO, Michael Cook was a high school classmate of Kaine Horman.
Mr. Cook is also one smarmy dude if his former spouse Shannon has anything to say about it.
Oddly, blinkoncrime.com has learned from an inside source that Cook was not called before the grand jury to testify. In the instant action for contempt, Kaine Horman’s attorney Laura Rackner specifically references the “sexting” and the text regarding Houze’s fee as information provided by law enforcement.
So, was he acting as an agent for le or is he himself under investigation?
Jason Wishert
William Jason Wishert is undoubtedly wishing he had not interjected himself in this case. Apparently new to the blogosphere via a request from Maxine Bernstein of the Oregonian, Mr. Wishert took to what he saw as his *nuveau*cause*celeb* status with moxy.
That was until he announced his appearance on the scaredmonkeys.net forum to answer questions about the case and cry the blues when he accused the Oregonian of using his rough notes to skewer Dede Spicher. According to Wishert the “not a lot of kissing but plenty of telling” memo was not supposed to be published. About 3 minutes into his introduction to his “sleuthing public” Wishert was asked why he spelled his name incorrectly and if he was indeed the son of convicted child porn possessor William Kent Wishart. In a really bad move, Mr. Wishert denied the allegation and retreated with his tail somewhere on his person.
Kent Wishart, former CEO of Graphic Sciences, is in Federal Custody for the next 4 years for possession of child porn and engaging in a file sharing subscription for same. Jason’s brother Grant is an employee of GS. All three Wishert’s hold numerous active and inactive business licenses throughout Oregon and Washington. Graphic Sciences has a Mexican affiliate office.
Both Jason and his brother James Grant have had numerous legal entanglements (editor’s note: say it just like Chief Margie with the flat “a”) and our attempts to substantiate Jason’s claims about court appointed child advocacy certifications have yet to be confirmed.
However, with his Uncle John Kerr, Jason Wishert is heavily involved in the Friends of Pimpollo Charity which sponsors various children issues and an orphanage in Mexico. FOP is a verified charity with a 50% tax deduction rate according to IRS Publication 78 in good standing, but they are years behind in their annual reporting.

Today, Kyron Horman’s eigth birthday, may not bring us any closer to where our frog prince is, but we do wish to extend our thoughts and prayers in celebration of his special day to his parents, friends and family. If the grand jurors decide there is not probable cause to support the charges, or that the charges should not be pursued for other reasons, they vote a “no true bill,” which means the indictment is not returned and no criminal case ensues.

So RS has the motive. AS was locked up on June 4 but perhaps took part in the MFH sting on June 26th. Since he has only been incarcerated since March, was he the designated hit man and did his arrest change the MFH plan? If RS was pissed at TH why take Ky? Why not hurt TH directly? Maybe he still needed her for something? Maybe he wanted to burn her A_ _! Whatever, it’s clear TH no longer trusted RS in May.
I really have a hard time believing TH had no hand in June 4th. I can’t believe RS would risk taking Ky from that school without her help. So much of her and DD’s time unexplained that day, the Dr appt mix up, the e-mails to the school, taking the truck and not picking up the project.
What does RS have on TH? Perhaps TH devised plan B (ransom scenario) on her own after the MFH plan fell apart. Perhaps she devised this plan with someone else that RS knew, unbeknownst to TH. Perhaps RS caught wind of her plan and intercepted, not at the school, but at a location where Ky was to be dropped off. TH finds out Ky went into the wrong hands around 10:10 that morning. She freaks out and looks for someone to confide in but she knows she cannot do ANYTHING to save Ky, only her own A_ _. She calls DD and says she’s in danger, but not because of Ky, maybe she says RS wants to kill her because of the green card issue and his wife’s knowledge of the affair. TH had a direct involvement in Ky’s disappearance but needs to deflect her involvement now because her plan B failed. No doubt she received a bigger threat than RS lunging at her. Something occurred that day that sealed her trap forever! Threats to Kitty? To James?
So, as to the “lesser included” charges that RS might face, for a conviction:
1) The greater and the lesser crimes both have to result in harm to the same person, property, etc.
2) And the two crimes have to be related by logical necessity, or per Oregon statute:

After reading the update about the new summary provided by Chief Marge about the profiles of the “cast of characters” last night, I ended up having strange dreams all night long focusing on the Ward Weaver case where the 13 yr old girl’s body was found under the concrete slab at his home in Portland (Gladstone).

Same truck picture as used in the TH/DDS flier. I’ve learned from the guys in my family when trying to figure out differences in similar vehicles, is to look at tires and wheels, running boards and antenna positions as they are the most commonly changed features on otherwise stock vehicles, especially trucks.
Blink, awesome article! And with all the new info to digest I find myself also thinking about the pieces we are still missing. Things such as If Kaine telling the truth (and I have no doubt that he is) and he did not know they hired a landscaper what’s with the story TMH told her mother? What groundwork could she have been laying for later? Also if Rudy Sanchez was the one that physically took Kyron there’s no way LE would cut him a deal is there? Wouldn’t that make him “the big fish” in this tragic story? Even if there is big drug related investigation going on I sure hope that LE isn’t willing to sacrifice the justice that Kyron deserves to make that bust instead? Was Rudy an informant ?Most informants are simply criminals that get a pass in exchange for info, but surely when an innocent child is harmed the deal is off?
Regarding AS-S the pics look nothing alike to me although it’s quite possible the vital info matches up. Illegal immigrants are know to obtain official ID using the birth certs of someone with similar age and features. After awhile you have the same info on paper with the faces of several different people. It’s a shame they don’t take the time to utilize fingerprints data to stop the practice
Regarding records from Clackamas Co dispatch… if Terri lives in Multnomah County, her call would have gone into that dispatch center (some areas are not combined). If so, the records could be with Mult Co. Often in a case like this, one agency will request a courtesy check with another County. It is possible this detail wouldn’t be reflected by Clackamas County, but the initial call into Mult Co might be there.
Was Rudy cited for anything, e.g. threats, menacing?
I bet Rudy was really really mad when the police showed up and his wife found out. I bet he wife was really mad too! Rudy or his wife could certainly have wanted to get even with Terri!
Also, what if Terri wasn’t stopping the relationship the day of the “lunging”… What if Terri was actually threatening Rudy… perhaps she threatened to turn him in as being here illegally, for other illegal dealings, growings, happenings?
This could have made a bunch of various people, family and criminals mad at her…
If you right-click the truck photo, the pic is named KaineTruck_small.jpg, so unless someone named it wrong for conspiratorial purposes, it probably is what it says it is. But if someone did name it wrong then who? and why? This could really spin off into a paralell investigation…

I believe that “sincerely yours” is likely to be Terri’s mother because we now know via Blink that Terri called her mom right after the May 9 911 call and lied to her that LS lunged at her because Kaine had made her fire him. She did not tell her mother the real reason which was that she had broken off her affair with LS. Sincerely yours is very protective of Terri and feels that she knows the inside track on what really happened although we now know that she only knew part of it. SY states that LS “has been angry with this family since May 9″. Notice she says “family” and not “Terri”. If SY knew about the affair, why would she think LS would be angry with the whole family rather than with Terri alone? At first I found it interesting that Blink’s source said that LS was pissed about 911 call only because he is not in the U.S. legally…no mention of what repercussions the visit from LE would have caused to his marriage. Then I realized, Terri wouldn’t have told the truth to 911 responders either. She would have told the same story she told to her mother…”LS got mad at me because Kaine made me fire him”… and that is the story LS’s wife and kids would have heard from LE when they arrived at their home. It’s interesting to get into this woman’s head and see how she twists and manipulates everyone and everything. The 911 calls she made on LS were for the same reason as the one she made on her second husband…”I’m done with you…now get lost.”
As a Mexican-American myself, I have wondered if LS is a macho type guy who felt that his masculinity was somehow ridiculed by Terri’s actions. Hispanics are usually very traditional and, while he might have fallen for Terri in a sexual way, he would never respect a wife and mother who would “cuckhold” her husband and sleep with another man with her children near by. He might have felt, in addition to his anger at her, that he would be doing Kyron a favor by removing him from such a family and placing him with a more traditional family in Mexico. This is pure speculation on my part.

To all those people who think Oregon Anselmo and Florida Anselmo is/are the same guy… I honestly cannot see what you see. I copied Oregon Anselmo onto a word document and studied them side by side. There is absolutely no resemblance. Florida guy looks more Amerindian with round face, darker skin, lower, sloping forehead and thicker eyebrows. Oregon Anselmo has a higher forehead, narrower face and much fuller lips. They don’t even look related to me.

Haven’t posted before – am cathected onto this blog like crazy glue. As a psychotherapist for a long time, I am impressed by those who have a good grasp of TH’s personality. It seems to me that there are about three main scenerios that everyone is wrestling with: one being that TH got involved with organized crime and somehow Kyron’s disappearance was some sort of payback for her impulsive change-of-mind behavior; another scenerio is that it was some sort of weird accident as a result of mixed up communications (also a result of her impulsive and inappropriate behavior); a third is that TH “did it,” with or without co-conspirators (again, involving TH’s impulsive and/or inappropriate behavior). I think it can be safely postulated by now that Kyron’s disappearance was caused either directly or indirectly by TH’s behavior. Clinically, she appears to be bipolar 2, a milder form of bipolar disorder, with rapidly cycling mood swings, coupled with Borderline and Narcissistic personality traits. Add in alcohol abuse and lord knows what weight loss drugs, and you have a person who is unstable enough to do this on her own, have a mood shift and later feel fearful and possibly remorseful. How far out of bounds is it to imagine that she simply did whatever was done to him by herself, with possible LS having knowledge of it and extorting her? She is clearly capable of committing a crime – we know that. Perhaps all the foreign drug dealing, etc. is occurring concurrently but is not causal…

I agree that RS is probably only in on the MFH. He wore a wire, so he must be cooperating with LE. And, if he was involved in Kyron’s disappearance, TH or someone else would be indicted by now because his testimony would have broken open the case against TH.

The person I know who has been on community supervision (this time for probation violations) just sleeps at the jail and is supposed to look for a job during the day, but no verification of where he has been is required. (no ankle bracelet) He is not expected to register after his probation is up even though he has not completed a treatment program.
goofy idea but, I wonder if LE has the case somewhat wrapped up and aren’t going to make a move until TH and KH are divorced. Once they are divorced, then KH won’t have to pay for TH criminal defense. Tick-tock.

Seems to me that KH’s attorney would have realized this from the beginning.
I am trying to stay on equal ground here with this case. But can’t help but wonder if LE was basing their claims on what they may have produced from the MFH sting if it had not blown up in their face.
Maybe they do not have as much as has been portrayed so far. Given the fact that the Grand Jury has suspended. Blink what is the difference between suspension and recess when it comes to a Grand Jury? Do you know?

Your correct, the mfh sting was a disaster. Using that information in a civil or family matter, as I said from day 1, is a mistake and could harm the criminal case.

Does my feeb mind have this straight?
In the investigation of TH, LE sees the 911 call of May 9th. TH has said that she fired RS and he lunged at her while holding the baby. This is when TH distanced herself, for whatever reason, from RS.
LE then contacts RS due to the information of the May 9th incident. They bring him in for questioning. He provides information that she had approached him in a MFH plot and he refused. He also provides them with sext messages from TH and admits an affair.
On the 26th there is a sting. RS goes to the Horman residence with an undercover LEO and TH calls 911.
TH blames the May 9th call on firing a landscaper, but KH said they never had a landscaper. Maybe RS was being “fired” from the MFH, or maybe he was trying to collect on the cancelled MFH, which is what he asked to do again with a wire.
If RS lied to LE, then there never was a MFH, and RS made it up to cover other activities, then what was May 9th all about and what does it have to do with Ky?

The two Anselmo Sanchez pictures are of two different hispanic men. No doubt about it. AS-S in Oregon has broader lips than the AS in Florida. One has a very thin smallish thin sparse mustache the other has a very full mustache. The bottom lip of AS-S is much wider and actually pink almost the color of his shirt. His left eye lid is somewhat drooped. AS-S is much more into his appearance than the long haired rather unkept AS. What really strikes me is the different demeanor of the two.
If they were pictures with a few years difference it would almost seem possible except for the lips. One is in Florida in jail while the other was in Oregon and was in jail at the same time.
@in answer to a poster asking who the Harringtons were: The Harrington’s daughter Morgan dissappeared from a Metallica concert last year and her remains were found a couple of months later. Apparently someone has posted here earlier about her.

KGW has learned that Judge Jean Kerr Maurer issued an order from August 20th through October 29th restricting any audio or visual recording of witnesses coming or going from the grand jury room. Maurer had issued a similar order in early August but it had since expired.”

So does this mean the Grand jury is done? Probably not, said former Multnomah County prosecutor Jim McIntyre.
He said grand jury term can be extended for weeks, months or even years. Jurors are essentially on stand-by as the investigation moves forward.
“It’s really not that uncommon with a complex unsolved case to keep the grand jury going and bring them back and bring people back in to testify when you need them or when you develop new evidence or leads,” he said.

Blink – can you please provide a link or information about the “No True Bill” in this case? I can see saying there is “NTB yet”, but it is very hard to believe if the GJ was done and had determined there was no reason to indict anyone and the case was finished, it wouldn’t be headline news around here, at least. A NTB also is a matter of public record so reporting on it would be simple.
I’m hoping someone pushed the pause button.
Did LS or RS ever live in North OR Coast area or Ashland, Oregon (about 3 years ago) or have relatives, family friends connections there?
I don’t believe the AS in OR is the same as the AS in FL. I’ve compared the features of the men in the 2 photos and there are differences, e.g., the lips of the man in the FL photo are thinner and wider. I thought the AS in OR was around 22?
That is a picture of Kaine’s truck in the photo above. Sorry, Blink, I cheated. When I started to save the picture so I could enlarge it, it was automatically named “Kaine’s Truck.” I also checked by right-clicking the photo and looking under “properties.” So, if the truck in the LE questionaire differed from the one in the picture, LE was soliciting info on a 2nd truck, which possibly means that a second white truck drove up to the school after TH left and is likely involved in Kyron’s disappearance.
I’m doubting that RS was the one who kidnapped Kyron, though. Although he’d done some work at the school, I really think he would’ve appeared out of place that day since a groundskeeper was onsite cutting the grass. IIRC, in an earlier post it was determined that RS mowed the grass at Skyline. It would be risky for him to show up at the school on a day he wasn’t expected to be there b/c 1) people would recognize him, which leads to 2) school staff would likely notice him and question why he was there.
What about the white truck parked at WF’s? Do we know whether it belongs to WF, or if her S-I-L BP has a white pickup?

Not sure yet about total significance of May 9 in relation to Kyron except that it totally pissed of LE and may have motivated revenge. But here’s something interesting…May 9 this year was Mother’s Day. Why would this “altercation” have happened on this day? It was a Sunday and a holiday that usually involves the whole family, particularly when there are young children. Where was Kaine? Did this exchange between Terri and LS happen somewhere other than her home? Hard to imagine that Kaine wouldn’t have been home with family on this day yet, if he had been, he would have been aware of the whole thing. So Terri and LS must have left their respective families on Mother’s Day, Terri with Kiara in her arms, and met somewhere to end their relationship? Something doesn’t sit right. I am now questioning this whole event.

Thanks Evie. I think I saw it that way because TMH’s behavior reminds me of some people I’ve known. They don’t like to lose, and they manipulate everyone around them to guarantee a win.
Look at it this way, if TMH wasn’t agreeable to a reduction in child support payments, why didn’t she just tell RE when he was at her house? Why pretend to be agreeable?
I think she did this because she didn’t have an advantage over RE at that time. After she called the sheriff’s dept. and made a complaint, she had an advantage over RE. She dug a hole and put him in it. If he wanted to fight her for a reduction in child support, he first had to climb out of that hole, as in, defend himself against the false accusation that he had been harassing her. That would include overcoming pre-conceived notions held by the officer who called him, or anyone who saw a report of her complaint (if there was one).
Rather than do that, RE gave up, which must be what TMH wanted. So, the question is, why did TMH need the upper hand on RS? Whether or not there was an altercation between the two, I suspect she wanted him to go away and keep quiet. JMHO.

The GJ is a prosecutorial investigative opportunity, and in Oregon is heavily used as a sort of “preliminary hearing” of sorts.
I believe it was convened to result in an indictment in Kyron’s case and failed to do so, or was suspended without vote strategically. I think Rod Underhill essentially told us the shortfall in the press conf and request for public assisstance on August 12.

Well now folks we got some Kaine insight into the drop contempt motion—
Kaine tells KGW: “We need to get this wrapped up.”
“While Kaine was not required to explain why he was dropping the motion, one legal expert familiar with the case said it would allow Kaine to try and speed up divorce proceedings.”
“A hearing on the contempt motion had been scheduled for September 21. That will now be canceled and Kaine could seek to move up a divorce hearing currently scheduled for October 7.”
“Kaine told KGW that dropping the motion also serves other purposes.”
