On what is Kyron Horman’s 8th Birthday, the Skyline School, where Kyron was scheduled to begin the third grade, is buzzing with the start of the years activities without him.

In response to the disappearance and presumed abduction of the bespectacled herpetologist; Skyline has implemented a myriad of mandatory safety features as well as a state of the art security camera system. While complete with facial recognition capability, one face it will not be recognizing today, is that of Kyron Horman.
Although missing since the morning of June 4, 2010, there have been no updates from the many State and Federal agencies participating in the criminal investigation of his disappearance since August 12, 2010.
Adding to the mounting concern about the status of Kyron’s fate are the words of his own parents, Kaine Horman and Desiree Young.
“The police will not stop until they find Kyron and the harder they have to search–the harder this will get for you,” wrote Young. “You will go to jail and whoever has been helping you will have to talk police or they will go to jail.”
It is clear from Kaine and Desiree’s comments that they believe Terri Horman, Kyron’s step mom, is at least partially responsible for Kyron vanishing. While they stop short of naming any possible accomplices, Rod Underhill, the chief deputy district attorney of Multnomah County, Captain Jason Gates, Detective Bob O’Donnell of the Multnomah County Sheriff Office have sought the publics help to flush them out. Multnomah County Chief Deputy District Attorney Rod Underhill said a witness, or witnesses, have reported seeing someone else by the Hormans’ extended-cab pickup while it was parked in front of the school between 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. on June 4, the day Kyron disappeared. In what was characterized as a slip-up, methinks that that Kyron’s Mom told us that someone was actually Kyron.
While Terri Horman is holed up at her parents newly refinanced home in Roseburg and under the mortgage-sized retainer protection of Stephen Houze; she is awaiting the September 21st contempt hearing for allegedly violating an order that she not disclose the “sealed” reasoning for, or contents of, the current restraining order in effect against her.

Rodolfo “Rudy” Estrada Sanchez
When reached at one of the numbers records show is billed in his brothers name, Jaime Estrada Sanchez, who uses the name Jaime Estrada on his carpet cleaning business website declined to comment to blinkoncrime.com and the number has since been disconnected.
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a close family friend who has since been interviewed by the FBI, has confirmed that Terri Horman is pointing her finger directly at Sanchez. She has also stated that she and Sanchez had an altercation after she attempted to end their relationship in May which ended in a 911 call and a visit from Clackamas County Sheriff Office in the presence of Sanchez’s wife and children. While it did not result in any charges, Horman told the source that the landscaper was furious with her because he is not in the US legally. While blinkoncrime.com has not been able to verify the date of the alleged 911 call, we have been able to verify that Terri called her Mother immediately following the incident and told her that Kaine had found out about the landscaper she hired to do what she referred to as “her yardwork” and when she informed him that she could no longer use him because Kaine was making her fire him, he lunged at her with Kiara in her arms. Kaine Horman denies the couple ever hired the landscaper as well as any previous information as to his estranged wife’s possible dealings with Sanchez.
It should be noted that Mr. Sanchez has not been charged with any crime in this matter and local references to his business are highly complimentary. In fact, Jean Ann Van Krevelen a friend and “mentor” of Dede Spicher has used RS Landscape Maintenance on a few occasions, leaving positive reviews on the ServiceMaster listing which deleted his business from the site on 6/21/10. Heather Walters, owner of Rosemont Farm,which is not West Wind Farm, where Dede Spicher was working the morning of June 4th and out of reach by phone from approximately 90 minutes, has never met Terri Horman or heard of their family prior to Kyron’s disappearance. When I asked her if she knew Rudy Sanchez or if she ever hired his firm to work at WWF, she replied “not that I recall, no, but we did have a blackberry clean up a few years ago so it is possible.”

Although records indicate that he was placed under post probation supervision by ICE on February 19, 2010, according to Mr. Sanchez-Sanchez Federal criminal docket after being “found in the US and apprehended” in August 2009” following a previous deportation in 2003, he was “administratively arrested” on February 23, 2010. A Federal Grand Jury’s subsequent indictment was issued on March 4 and he was immediately incarcerated.
Mr. Sanchez-Sanchez rap sheet includes convictions for rape, failure to register as a sex offender and a host of probation and parole violations prior to his deportation.
In what can only be categorized as a bizarre coincidence, Oregon BOP VINE network shows that on June 26, 2010, they very day of the “sting” involving Rudy Sanchez, Anselmo was transferred and released to “community supervision”. There is no record of either his transfer or his booking by MCSO July 8th on his docket. What is reflected on the record for June 21st, is the US Marshall Service requested a rescheduling of his plea hearing on July 1st - July 12th directly with the presiding judge outside of his Federal appointed defense attorney. Yep. Exparte. Mr. Sanchez attorney Allison Clark used the 7/12/10 court date to file a motion to quit the case. They have subsequently worked through their differences and were scheduled to appear yesterday, but a 4th continuance in the case was granted to reschedule for October 7, 2010. In that motion, Ms. Clark asserts that Mr. Sanchez has been in custody the entire time but that his records are difficult to retrieve so more time to prepare for trial is necessary. I’ll say.

Up until a few weeks ago, she was also very much the object of accusation by Desiree Young and Kaine Horman, as well as the investigators assigned to Kyron’s case. So much so, they released a flyer featuring the ginger ladies and the infamous white truck. LE has subsequently backed off of Spicher and publicly stated they do not believe it was her in the white truck in the lot of the Skyline School. Dede’s father is a semi-retired Klamath County Sheriff deputy. If it can be confirmed Spicher knew Kyron was missing on June 4th we have a very big problem.

Michael Cook
The source of both information for the contempt filing and hundreds of sexts exchanged between he and Terri Horman following Kaine Horman’s filing for divorce and leaving the marital residence as advised by MCSO, Michael Cook was a high school classmate of Kaine Horman.
Mr. Cook is also one smarmy dude if his former spouse Shannon has anything to say about it.
Oddly, blinkoncrime.com has learned from an inside source that Cook was not called before the grand jury to testify. In the instant action for contempt, Kaine Horman’s attorney Laura Rackner specifically references the “sexting” and the text regarding Houze’s fee as information provided by law enforcement.
So, was he acting as an agent for le or is he himself under investigation?
Jason Wishert
William Jason Wishert is undoubtedly wishing he had not interjected himself in this case. Apparently new to the blogosphere via a request from Maxine Bernstein of the Oregonian, Mr. Wishert took to what he saw as his *nuveau*cause*celeb* status with moxy.
That was until he announced his appearance on the scaredmonkeys.net forum to answer questions about the case and cry the blues when he accused the Oregonian of using his rough notes to skewer Dede Spicher. According to Wishert the “not a lot of kissing but plenty of telling” memo was not supposed to be published. About 3 minutes into his introduction to his “sleuthing public” Wishert was asked why he spelled his name incorrectly and if he was indeed the son of convicted child porn possessor William Kent Wishart. In a really bad move, Mr. Wishert denied the allegation and retreated with his tail somewhere on his person.
Kent Wishart, former CEO of Graphic Sciences, is in Federal Custody for the next 4 years for possession of child porn and engaging in a file sharing subscription for same. Jason’s brother Grant is an employee of GS. All three Wishert’s hold numerous active and inactive business licenses throughout Oregon and Washington. Graphic Sciences has a Mexican affiliate office.
Both Jason and his brother James Grant have had numerous legal entanglements (editor’s note: say it just like Chief Margie with the flat “a”) and our attempts to substantiate Jason’s claims about court appointed child advocacy certifications have yet to be confirmed.
However, with his Uncle John Kerr, Jason Wishert is heavily involved in the Friends of Pimpollo Charity which sponsors various children issues and an orphanage in Mexico. FOP is a verified charity with a 50% tax deduction rate according to IRS Publication 78 in good standing, but they are years behind in their annual reporting.

Today, Kyron Horman’s eigth birthday, may not bring us any closer to where our frog prince is, but we do wish to extend our thoughts and prayers in celebration of his special day to his parents, friends and family. I agree Satori…he had to have been asking for “hush money” since Kaine is still alive. That’s why she felt safe calling LE…there was no way he could prove the MFH plot and LE would just laugh at this illegal alien coming up with such a crazy story to save his butt from getting deported. There had also been the previous altercation on May 9th which, I believe, she told LE was about her firing him…NOT about ending their affair. This second 911 call would, in her mind, give further credence to the idea that this illegal alien was harrassing her because she fired him back in May and would, hopefully, get him deported.
What she didn’t count on was Rudy saving and showing LE her sexts. That convinced them that there was some truth to what he was saying. They knew at that point at least that there had been an affair and this was no simple employer/employee tiff.

It seems very strange that they would think that Kyron would be watching it on TV. And that the person who has him is being “so selfish because they can’t let him come home.”

I hear you. Based on conversations here and perhaps through other details (?), I was under the impression that Terri was trying to stir up trouble with Mrs. Sanchez via LE showing up at the door on Mother’s Day and that it may have been more than a “employer / employee” relationship that was discussed. Surely, Terri did not forget about those pictures she sent Rudy.
Like I said previously, it could be that Rudy no longer wanted anything to do with Terri, and so Terri fires him, but blames it on Kaine in her version of the story to LE. I think it is possible that Terri became angry over some sort of rejection and then ended the money flow to Rudy in addition to causing trouble at his home. I think Terri is noted for doing this before!!
Who knows how it all played out. But I see potential for Terri to be deceptive in this area. Moo

But just because Rudy said that Terri approached him about MFH does not mean that Rudy admitted to any crime. As far as we can see, there was no crime committed by Rudy relative to MFH. Perhaps I am misunderstaning.
If Rudy came to Terri on his own and tried to shake her down for money for changing her mind, this would be different.

So it’s not clear where the altercation occurred. Or is it? If it occurred at the Horman residence would’nt MCSO have been dispatched? Perhaps it occurred somewhere in Clackamas County and that is why they were dispatched. It was Mother’s Day, a seemingly perfect day to make your crazy LS lover’s wife aware of his exta marital affairs. In other words she knew the wife would be home. I highly doubt firing him would make him lunge out at her. Why tell the wife? RS was probably harassing her. She wanted out of the MFH plot. She wanted RS deported. Maybe she knew he would go completely nuts by going to his house and maybe she knew it would end in a 911 call.

If I have my facts right, wasn’t Ky’s backpack and coat left in the school the day he disappeared? If he was sighted near KH’s white truck on the morning of the 4th was he wearing his coat? That is an important clue as it was a chilly rainy morning. Any thoughts? Part of the set-up/staging scenario or was he “snatched” inside the school? What would cause him to go outside without his coat?
i think the notion that terri may have shown up as deceptive only because she didnt want to tell about some sordid affair she was having is small potatoes compared to what has gone on. lots of people might have an extramarital affair and not like the idea of getting busted over it. it’s a whole ‘nother caliber of a person who would jeopordize the safety of a child in an attempt to not tell on themselves. i think if your son goes missing, if you have an ounce of character, all bets are off at that point, and you start vomiting your everything you can think of in an effort to find him and start begging for forgivness over your indiscretions. no connection there as far as i’m concerned. no way. no how. she’s lying over something way ickier than an affair. affairs are, unfortunately, pretty commonplace and a relatively acceptable behavior in our culture. she did something despicable, IMO.

Blink notes: I believe strongly this is designed to progress leads in this case. My opinion as to “why” may be very unique. It is almost as if they want someone to believe she is a suspect, stopping short of naming her. Could they be hoping for someone to make contact with her.

The Oregon Secretary of State Corporation Division shows license #300176-93 for Sanchez Nursery Sales, 955 S Pacific Hwy, Woodburn, OR 97071. The authorized representative on file is Maria G. Sanchez and the representative is Ubaldo Sanchez, with with the same address. This is Elsy Sanchez’s address on the missing kids poster.
If Ubaldo and Maria are married, then who is Elsy married to? Maybe Maria is mother or sister to Ubaldo, I don’t know. I guess we can’t assume the missing Sanchez children are Ubaldo’s as much as we can’t assume the are Rudy’s. I think it is too soon to cross these people off the list.
The missing children connected to the Pacific Hwy address, and my guess is that Elsy is not Ubaldo’s wife, Maria is, if you look at how the registration reads. (Example Maria & Ubaldo Sanchez, wife and husband OR Maria Sanchez and Ubaldo Sanchez, sister & brother, mother and son).

What was really interesting to me was the post about Ubaldo’s USDOT carrier status. This is a number enacted since NAFTA went into effect for all interstate common carriers. What this means is that Ubaldo’s semi-truck is legal to cross international borders.

Let’s advance this RS & Associates line of thinking to include transporting across borders … could be Kryon was shipped off to Mexico (I did not even entertain the idea before).

Does anyone know what date it was (year included) that TMH put out a craigslist for a landscaper? Was it a few days after the 911 call just to potentially piss off RS? Was it a legit craigslist because she knew she wanted to get rid of RS (for possibly personal/relationship reasons)? And she told her mom it was because he was an illegal just to keep her mom from asking questions?

I have tried to look up birth announcements in the local papers for Woodburn area focusing in on Ubaldo Sanchez DOB 08/24/08. Trying to see who his father is.

To Satori (post 50) – If LE did show up at Rudy’s house on May 9 – perhaps Terri was already trying to set him up as a aggressive guy, to be quickly thought of by LE once Kyron disappeared a month later. Terri is good at planting lies and deceptions about people behind their backs or even to their faces – to cause confusion and manipulate others. He didn’t bring up the MFH plot then because he wanted this to blow over with LE, not expecting that Kyron would go missing and he be contacted by LE. At that point he knew he had to come clean – it was serious now and would not blow over. Just a thought.

If the Mejia-Sanchez family vanished on May 19, why was it July 27 when a warrant was issued? Is there a record of any publicity given to this abduction before July? I’m not finding it. If Elsy is in the country illegally and she returns to her native county with her own children, is that a felony? I have to believe that this happens routinely without felony warrants being issued.
If Kyron is ‘stashed’ as his mother believes, then perhaps it is believed that Elsy has Kyron, probably in Mexico.
Interesting that there is a Mexican man with two kids sitting behid TH and DD in the photo taken at the Azteca. The one in his lap appears to be a boy and I can’t tell the sex of the 2nd child.
If Rudy has any involvement in Kyron’s disappearance, he would have to have some very clever associates who do this sort of thing for a living because with the resources on this case, if he is just a poor illegal who was upset because he was jilted by his lover.. man, he’s even got ICE, FBI, Secret Service, and others all unable to nab his a$$ 3 months later.
If he had a hand in this, he certainly has more aptitude than landscaping…. and I’m not talking Don Juan skills…

I can’t find anything on it at all. Maybe the story was pulled because it was bogus? If I also remember correctly, I think this landscaper was saught prior to Terri hiring Rudy.

The information about the missing Sanchez-Mejia family is interesting and uncanny. I had a spooky sort of feeling when I clicked the link, especially when I saw baby Ubaldo’s photo. It was eerily familiar, and I’ve no idea why. I do live in Portland, so perhaps I saw it on a poster around town or in an AMBER alert if one was issued? Weird deja vu going on here.
Did you notice also that, below Ubaldo’s picture, it says “Only Photo Available”? It doesn’t say that under Elsy’s or Jamie’s pictures. Kinda weird.
Interesting theories that Ubaldo might not be who he seems. It will also be fascinating to see whether this indeed a connection to this case.
As a Portlander, my sense of security in my town is gradually being eroded as more information about this case is revealed. I’ve never felt frightened or unsafe here, but the Kyron story makes me think nothing is as it seems.

On a side note, just popped into my head. Does Rudy look like he lifts weights in that picture? I did not blow it up, but he looks kinda buff in that tiny pic. Perhaps there was some initial connection with Terri regarding body building.

IMHO, the issue is one of perception by the illegal immigrant contacted by law enforcement, not as to law enforcement’s intent.
Would the illegal immigrant feel threatened if the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office sent a deputy to his/her house? You bet. Would the deputy likely make any threat? Maybe not.

If LE contacts Rudy because he may have information that is vital to find a missing child, LE is going to do everything in its power to keep Rudy here pending resolution of this case.

One weird thought: What if these are all such a weird bunch of dysfunctional misfits that the whole sturm und drang they create makes it impossible to ever find out who really did this?
If there is any truth to the rumors about Terri and another person driving wildly all over Sauvie Island the day Kyron went missing, it would seem likely that Terri was alerted to Kryon’s disappearance hours before Kaine and everyone else learned of it.
If Andrea Leckey’s statements about Terri’s actions at Fred Meyer #2 are true (and I personally believe that they are), there is no way that Terri knew that anything had happened to Kyron at that point.
So, why would Terri park against the far wall at the Fred Meyers? My first reaction was that she might have been breast feeding. Or, maybe it’s because her oversize truck doesn’t fit into a normal space, so rather than double park (like most jerks do), Terri parks against the far wall.
Or, if there was something that was light or heat sensitive (i.e. houseplants, a small pet, etc.), she may have been trying to get some shade from the wall. Having done this myself, I don’t think that’s too weird.
If there was something in the truck like that (or if Kyron were trying to send such an item home with Terri), it might also explain why Kyron went out to the truck. Although we still don’t know to which truck Desiree was referring when she said (paraphrasing), “Why would he be outside next to the truck?” We do know it was a truck by the school, but we do not know whose truck.
Where things get hinky is when Terri goes to the gym for 15 minutes. Could she have been looking for DeDe? If Rudy (or another of DeDe’s friends) called and threatened Terri, she just might have stopped by the gym to look for DeDe, to see if she could talk some sense into Rudy (or whomever).
Could Kyron innocently have gone after Terri for some reason and ended out in the parking lot to witness something happening with Terri and another person. It has been theorized that perhaps Terri drove the truck as to not be so conspicuous as she would be in her red stang. Was she hiding from someone? Was she sneaking around before she left ..ie hiding under stairway..checking that the coast is clear to leave. Did she walk out and someone cornered her, threatened Kiara or her and Kyron came out and saw this and BG grabs Kyron and takes off? She could have been in disbelief that what just happened, happened. She takes care of business (stops for meds etc) thinking they surely brought him right back. “It was just a joke, you made my kids, my second families kids, or grandkids disappear, now I have one of yours. “She is biding her time until 10 to see if school calls. They do not so maybe Kyron was returned before school started. She stops at mailbox. She finds the glasses and true panic now starts. She calls DD because she knows about LS and or associates. She picks her up and they start looking for Kyron. She realizes she needs an alibi for time so she stops at Gym but leaves directly after.
She still let the blood sucker in.
( About the truck, when I have to drive my husband’ big cab, big wheels etc..truck, I can not park it well. I drive a zippy 2 seater so when I drive the truck I have to park way out of other peoples way).

Indeed. Any illegal would freak over such an encounter, regardless the reason. Yes, this could be a very strange bunch. I also believe AL, but she admitted that the encounter was not the normal exchange between the two. AL noting that Kiara was visibly not feeling well gives some credibility to Terri’s statements.
I have been entertaining more scenarios lately about how Terri could be involved on some level, but not necessarily directly. I teeter-totter daily about this. I remain very open to Terri being totally innocent in all of this, despite her behavior that raises so many questions from the public. Would I ever want to have lunch with her? NO.

I forgot to say that I agree that there is nothing too strange about Terri parking so far away from other cars. Frankly, if a truck that size parked in the Fred Meyer near me, they would certainly take up more than one space. If I were driving that Truck, I would park away from everyone. And I agree that there is likely another truck involved.

I’ll go out on a bit of a limb here, because the removals process is so convoluted that one can live in the US ‘legally’ but with no status for years before there is resolution to a case. For some individuals, being picked up and getting an opportunity to ‘VD’ (voluntary departure) is the holy grail, because it’s a chance to get legal (stay of removal) in front of a judge.
If RS is ‘illegal” (commonly held to mean Entered Without Inspection/EWI aka ‘sneaking over the border’ vs entering with a visa and overstaying) this case may be his one shot (if he even wants it) to become legal in the US. All of this would require an immigration attorney who knows their stuff, and there is no staving off the deportation–it is going to happen. The question is when, and if the alien can get an immigration benefit out of it.
I guess what I am getting at it, RS would not have to blow a bunch of BS at them to remain. What he should be worried about is avoiding any prison time in the US; seeking removal could be in his favor.
Since LE has probably gone through all of TH’s regular and throw away cell phone calls made and received, wouldn’t they already know if someone on June 4 called TH to tell her they had Kyron? LE would already know who, if anyone, called. And wouldn’t that have to be someone who already had TH’s number since cell phone numbers are not listed (in our state anyway)? Repeating myself from a previous post I know.
I think when TH talked to AL, TH already knew what had happened (I think she planned it) and was nervous about it, therefore talking to AL more than usual, showing Kyron’s picture when facebook is full of Kiara’s picture.

I think it was Idahogal and someone else who recall something about the missing children and Elsy being mentioned on here weeks ago. I remember that, too. And Blink’s reply was to the effect “not connected to this case” IIRC. So, I’m a bit confused about all this being brought up again. I wrote that off weeks (a month?) ago as another distraction.
Blink, some help here would be nice. Is there any connection of the missing kids and Elsy Sanchez to Kyron? I know you may not answer, but I gotta try. Thanks.

It would be very uncommon for someone with a valid Oregon address (RS didn’t mind using his for lots of registrations) to register a vehicle in Washington state vs Oregon. It costs very little in Oregon (less than $100) and a lot in Washington (hundreds, based on the value of the vehicle).
Do you, Blink or anyone, have a comment on what RS’s ties to Washington State might be?

Tell us where Jamie and ubaldo and then you will get Kyron back. Ransom,stashed,revenge. Possibly why they believe kyron is still alive. As along as their is a possibility of the children being returned then kyron would be returned.
