Kyron Horman Case: Terri Horman Sexts Sent To Kaine Horman’s Phone…. WHAT?

In what can only be considered the latest bombshell development in the case of missing Portland boy, 7 year old Kyron Horman, blinkoncrime.com has discovered that the recent sexually graphic text messages or sexts, allegedly exchanged between Terri Horman and mutual friend Michael Cook, may have been altered. Definitely, alter-able.
Blinkoncrime.com has confirmed that the phone number which Kaine hand-wrote on the originally sealed emergency restraining order dated June 28, 2010, matches the cell phone number he also alleges, through his attorney Laura Rackner, was used by Michael Cook to RECEIVE the “sext” messages in question.
What’s the issue?
Kaine Horman owns the phone and the account it is registered to, and unless the allegation is that Terri Horman, using her own phone as purported by Kaine, is herself posing as Michael Cook and sexting herself, which would seem like a physical impossibility given some of her *glamour shots*, we have a serious problem.
In Kaine’s own handwriting on the June 28th Restraining Order, he pens that is an alternative number for Terri Horman.
In the contempt order filed by Kaine Horman on July 12, Ms. Rackner states that she has personally seen the “work phone” records of Michael Cook, and goes on to say “a search” of his cell phone reflected that he took snapshots on June 28th of the earlier served restraining order, which had been sealed, and was the basis for the contempt motion in the first place. He took pictures of sealed documents on the phone belonging to the other person bound by the same order prohibiting Terri Horman from showing anyone. As there are no texts on the work number until July, it is the only logical conclusion.
I am going to go out on a limb here and assume that at some point it occurred to someone that using good faith information in your affidavit, which when not alerting the court that your client has complete ownership and access to the data on the phone account in question, can look like bad faith in a nano-second, thus the withdrawal.
However, not everyone is on the same the playbill because the 21 pages of texts, which were released in PDF format, and do not include any numbers for Terri Horman herself, were supplied in an electronically redacted format; which again indicates this was not an original file.
It was not until the unredacted pdf’s became available October 26th and we converted them to HTML files could we see that based on the file format, it is clear these records came from the account owners and were not subpoenaed from the carrier. Original files, also provided to the respondent, are the requirement of the court. We all know texts can be sent from our phone online accounts, and from our phones directly; I think I even have voice command to text widget thingie.
Anyone that had access to the account, which is registered to Kaine Horman, could clone, spoof, or manipulate those messages, period. That aside, let’s consider the possibility that Terri Horman HAD implicated herself even slightly in any messages on phones that may be utilized to illicit information by a woman who demonstrated her complete knowledge that she understood what expectation of privacy parameters she was under the impression she was operating under, and engaging in, with the “textee”.
Terri Horman was represented by counsel, it would not be difficult for Stephen Houze allege that Kaine Horman was in constant contact with MCSO, had already been provided case sensitive information by them, and as such, was acting as an agent in soliciting the text messages. You see where I am going with this?
The fruit of that poisonous tree is more like the fruit of the poisonous orchard.
The implications of this scenario are abysmal. While I completely understand the desperation of a Father wanting to locate his child, since I have yet to really see anywhere Cook attempts to engage Terrri Horman about Kyron’s whereabouts at any time; I do not get the point of the exercise.
Ms. Rackner is a first rate “Super Lawyer”, but she is not above the burden of her duty to insure that what is being provided to her as a “good faith basis” is just that.
Does this information make Terri Horman any less vulgarly inappropriate at best? Hell to the No.
While it is true on the surface because of this information one will be hard pressed to prove it was definitely Terri Horman who sent the electronic ipecac none of us will soon forget, her attorneys have not denied it was her, nor do I expect them to, at least not until they read this.
What it does, yet again, is potentially compromise the criminal case involving the disappearance of Desiree Young and Kaine Horman’s son Kyron.
This afternoon, blinkoncrime.com contributing editor and Legal Analyst, Lea Conner weighed in:
Kaine Horman claims that law enforcement provided the texts records to him, but that does not mean that the records came from the cell phone provider, nor does it mean that the conversations involve Michael Cook or Terri Horman.
In fact, there are indications that the text message transcripts filled by Mr. Horman are not as they appear. At least one of the phones purported to belong to “Michael Cook” is registered to Kaine Horman.
Just as important, none of these records indicate any information about the texts Mr. Horman alleges were sent by his wife. Mr. Horman does not list any cell phone number, not one message ID, not one cell record that indicates the identity of other party to the conversation let alone indicating Ms. Horman as the other party to the text message “conversations.” In the case of the phone with the “503″ prefix (503-XXX-XX76), Mr. Horman is the registered owner of the phone that was purportedly sending texts as “Michael Cook.”
More bizarre, Mr. Horman listed this number as belonging to Terri Horman in his application for a temporary restraining order. Was this a slip on the part of Mr. Horman? Mr. Horman claimed in a motion for remedial contempt that Ms. Horman showed a copy of the restraining order to Mr. Cook and allowed him to photograph the document.
Given that the phone Mr. Horman is the registered owner of the phone he purports was used by “Michael Cook,” it begs the question as to whether Ms. Horman ever allowed Mr. Cook access to the sealed restraining order. As a party to the action, Mr. Horman had the very same sealed documents. Mr. Horman, through Counsel Laura Rackner, claimed to have reviewed Mr. Cook’s “work cell phone records.”
It is not clear if the documents Ms. Rackner referenced as Mr. Cook’s “work” cell records are, in fact, for the phone registered to Mr. Horman. If the sealed documents referenced in Mr. Horman’s contempt motion were photographed with the phone registered to Mr Horman — the same phone that Mr. Horman claims was used by Mr. Cook — it might help explain why Mr. Horman withdrew his contempt motion.
Had he gone forward with the motion, he might have had to explain how it was the documents allegedly photographed by Mr. Cook were the same documents that he had in his possession, and that the phone used to photograph sealed court documents was registered to him, not Mr. Cook.
The records for the phone with a “971″ prefix (971-XXX-XX63) are unlisted. This phone also purported to send texts as “Michael Cook.” Due to the unavailability of any registration for this phone, it is impossible to tell to whom the phone belongs, or who was actually sending texts from this phone. The unredacted copy of the cell phone records filed on October 25, 2010, only identifies one caller on each set of cell phone records. This means that the records came from the phone, not the cell provider. Text records on pages 1 through 12 of Exhibit 1 are from (503) XXX-XX76 (“Cell Phone A”). These pages allegedly represent text messages sent between 10:17 pm on June 30, 2010 through 7:19 pm on July 1, 2010.
In separate court documents, “Michael Cook” is identified as the sender of text messages and the recipient of text messages is identified as “Terri Horman.” Cell Phone A is a Cingular/AT&T cell phone registered to Kaine Horman. It is also a phone number listed by Mr. Horman in his restraining order application as a phone number for Ms. Horman.
Pages 1 through 12 of Exhibit 1 does not list any phone number for the portion of the conversation attributed to Ms. Horman, only that the texts listed were received by (503) XXX-XX76. Text records on pages 13 through 17 of Exhibit 1 are from (971) XXX-XX63 (“Cell Phone B”).
These pages allegedly represent text messages sent between 6:49 pm on July 4, 2010 through 8:30 am on July 6, 2010. The bottom of page 17 has a partial text message sent on July 6, 2010, which purports to be sent after 8:30 am. Cell Phone B is an unlisted cell phone with AT&T (formerly Cingular).
In separate court documents, “Michael Cook” is identified as the sender of text messages and the recipient of text messages is identified as “Terri Horman.” Pages 13 through 17 of Exhibit 1 does not list any phone number for the portion of the text messages attributed to Ms. Horman, only that the texts listed were received by (971) XXX-XX63. All texts in Exhibit 2 are from Cell phone A, and allegedly represent text messages sent between 2:29 pm on July 3, 2010 through 9:40 am on July 4, 2010.
Exhibit 2 does not list any phone number for the portion of the text messages attributed to Ms. Horman, only that the texts listed were received by (503) XXX-XX76. All texts in Exhibit 3 are from Cell phone B, and allegedly represent text messages sent between 8:44 pm on July 6, 2010 through 8:41 am am on July 7, 2010. The top of page 1 of this exhibit has part of an undated message from 8:41 am., possibly on July 6, 2010, that states “I understand. I’m upset about kitty. I didn’t do [sic]”
Exhibit 3 does not list any phone number for the portion of the text messages attributed to Ms. Horman, only that the texts listed were received by (971) XXX-XX63. Surely investigators working on this case must know that the cell records filed by Mr. Horman as coming from Michael Cook’s phone were not from Mr. Cook’s phone, but from a phone registered in his own name.
Someone in law enforcement must have noticed that the number Mr. Horman claims belong to Michael Cook is also the number he claimed belonged to his wife in his TRO application. Mr. Horman signed his application for temporary restraining order on Monday June 28, 2010, prior to its filing at 4:39 pm that afternoon.
This was two days after the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office conducted its failed sting operation at the Horman residence on Saturday June 26, 2010. MCSO was unable to confirm the murder-for-hire plot that had been alleged by the landscaper. As a result, MCSO was not able to arrest Ms. Horman.
As such, why did law enforcement then give the green light to Mr. Horman to obtain a restraining order on the basis that his wife had hired to hire a hit man? Or did Mr. Horman act unilaterally without the endorsement of law enforcement? Surely Mr. Horman must have known that law enforcement could not verify the landscaper’s story, yet he went ahead and filed a restraining order based on the very allegations that law enforcement could not verify. So why did he sign his name to allegations that he knew were not true?
The text messages don’t check out. The murder for hire allegations don’t check out. The only common thread here is a man whose son disappeared on June 4, 2010. As tragic and anguishing as Mr. Horman’s circumstances may be, that does not excuse misrepresenting information to the court.
Mr. Horman cannot claim that the phone registered in his name is Michael Cook’s work cell phone, nor can he claim that the phone allegedly used by Michael Cook was used by Ms. Horman. When Sheriff Dan Staton talked about knowing things that might surprise people, could he have been talking about cell phone records? Maybe Stephen Houze and Peter Bunch will force the sheriff to reveal its source for the records.
Although the answer would not bring Kyron home, it might at least alleviate some of the blame heaped on Ms. Horman, as unpopular as that may be.

Unfortunately the Handbook doesn’t mention “bells.” I feel confident that there was a final Tardy bell at 8:45am and if it similar to our school, a bell that rang 5 minutes (or 10 in this case) before to warn the kids to get to class. Sorry, not much help!

Did the second bell ring at 8:45, to remind the kids they needed to be in their classrooms? If what TMH said is true, and Kyron was headed to check-in, the window of opportunity to snatch him was *extremely* narrow. It would appear it was only a matter of seconds.

This is a nitpicky detail, I apologize, but the Aug PC with Staton speaking.. this includes a direct quote:
When asked if people would be shocked to find out what they know, Staton took a long silence.
“I know I’m taking a long pause on that, I have to think through that answer. I think there are things that come out of this investigation that will surprise you, that you’ll think about later on when it’s over. We have a knowledge of things we don’t want to know about … of things we wish we didn’t know,” he added.
That statement was so powerful to those of us who are following that I think it’s important to keep it intact. Staton didn’t confirm that the community will be “shocked” (powerful) but we will be surprised (challenge our assumptions?). Law Enforcement now have a “knowledge of things we don’t want to know about.” That is more significant than a housewife who tipples on the side, but not as devastating as a lot of other scenarios I’ve read/thought of. I’m still trying to balance what might be ‘surprising’ to our community, but not ‘shocking’.

Not sure I have thought this through, or if it is even significant. One line of the sexts has sorta stuck with me and maybe the ladies here can help with the possibilities. TH mentioned she had only been with five men including KH. Are there any clues to her psyche here?…i.e….Is ‘only five’ an issue for a woman approaching 40?…I have read many comments indicating she was quite …how shall I say it..?…loose?
If that text is true and after having three husbands…..is she dangling a query as to who the others were/are?….If it is true would that create a sense of ‘life passing her by’ in her mind?….Why would a woman disclose such a thing?…Is she simply saying indirectly that MC has a real good chance with her?…Does that statement support the ‘narcicism that we have discussed?…Would her life in recent years have become so much more important than the life of a child, not her own, that she would do ‘anything’?…
If it is not true does that carry it’s own indicators?….If you find this irrelevant or offensive please forgive me and opt for the scroll and roll…..lol

No. Ky was SUPPOSED to be in his homeroom by 8:45. Ky had been known to be “in the bathroom” when he was supposed to be elsewhere. DY said they were working with him on following directions. He could have been confused about the rules on Science Fair day. Someone could have intentionally confused him.
I guess I don’t understand why the 8:45 bell constrains Ky to be in his classroom. Maybe he was wandering around on the other floor of the school still, for a variety of reasons. Visitors were still wandering around. Am I making any sense? I’m confused.

In light of KH’s words, I think it is highly probable that Staton, in describing some things as shocking, was referring to all the information the investigation has incovered about TMH’s lifestyle…things she kept very well hidden from her husband. These would be things that the average housewife/mother of young children just doesn’t delve into. Just MOO.
@amy’s sister: LE never said they determined who wrote the note. They did question a homeless man who lived nearby. Didn’t seem like they thought it was him. Maybe they thought he saw who left it??? IDK
Homeless camps seem to exist in Portland and LE is tolerant of them. The family that LE asked Jim Kelley about in the area might also have been living outdoors there.

The cool electric one…a stun gun? Held by someone in a truck that looks like Kaine’s? Ky is “guided” out there by somebody he knows, who is familiar around the school — a janitor? That would explain the references to a uniform — and what about Blink asking us earlier, who is missing? What employee has not returned to school?
Blink insists Ky did not leave with Terri — and that fits. She insists LS (is that Rudy?) and associates are involved. Blink, could you confirm your believe the RS and associates and not an LS and associates are involved?
BP has a white truck, but he has disappeared off our radar. He is convenient because of the truck, the connection to the Hormans and his home at SI, but I’m not sure we have anything else to draw lines.
Whereas RS and maybe any other LS has reason to be on SI…
I’m going back to the elderly woman who called in, shortly after Kyron’s disappearance, to say there was a bumping sound under her houseboat on SI. I think this is important.

However — what confounds me is that many people involved…that’s a lot of people. And Terri’s involvement — I can now see some motive, but her behavior seems inconsistent (remember the “frantic” call from an FM pay phone — a pay phone, people, not her cell phone). Unless she truly was at SI “directing traffic” of some kind. My sense is she was more likely at SI running around trying to stop something that got out of control.
RE: Kyron leaving with someone without a fuss. People keep talking about his timidity and how that would work against this likelihood. I propose it actually makes him a very likely candidate to do exactly this — follow directions and go along without a fuss. That’s what timid people do. And if it’s someone he knows, no reason to be fearful. If it’s someone he doesn’t know…well…look how many crimes have been committed against children because they are too afraid to run, to shout, to draw attention.
Every scenario I run, with whichever candidate, has some small hole in it that pops the bubble. As far as one like this, with 3 or more people involved, either masterminded by or blindsiding TH, this seems the most likely. She knew something — just not enough to bring this to a close.
And I think the unpleasant discoveries, and what Kaine alludes to in this most recent interview, have to do with her extra-curriculars and not necessarily directly to what happened that day.
One more thing — uniform, LE’s dismay at what’s been learned, any opportunity here for a police officer to be involved?
@evie: Most everybody seems comfortable with revenge of a spurned lover, or TH not paying him for the MFH, or something sufficient to give him a motive. I don’t personally think the MFH solicitation ever happened; rather, was dreamed up by RS to explain some other connection he had with TH and/or to shift blame to her. So that kills that motive for me.
As to the spurned lover, well, just damn–I must remember to never underestimate the male ego. So, maybe. If we knew what else RS is into, maybe another possible motive would emerge. Drugs, child sex trafficking, whatever. I’d like to see one ’cause I don’t like the choices so far.

And details could be different. More this way; less that way. More active role for one person vs. another; etc. Remember how shattered we were when Blink took away the “AS-S took Ky from school hypothesis”? I’m just sayin’ don’t commit too heavily. Haha

Great synopsis … couple of loose ends. How do we explain seeing person at Horman truck and/or Ky at this truck… remember, it’s in the front of the school. I have a problem believing though, that Ky would go out the school without being told to by a parent or person of authority.

Beejay responding here: last I heard, LE was looking for a witness to verify that someone or something was near the white truck out front. IDK if it was ever verified. I know DY thinks it was a credible witness. So, I can’t yet explain that either. (This is a working theory, here…)
Um, the parents were all working with Ky on following directions. That leaves us knowing that he had a tendency not to. Alternatively, maybe he was given adult directions and was following them.
Couldn’t he have gone out any of the school’s doors? And walked around the school in any direction? It’s a small school.

He’s just GOT TO BE on Sauvie Island. Something happened there and there wasn’t a lot of time to do anything else. I’m thinking unfortunately he’s in the water, and he will eventually surface. Poor Kyron.
I believe that accounts for why they were searching the stretch of channel they were initially.
I do not believe Terri knows where Kyron is. I am confident if she did/does, when deception was detected on that poly question, she would have been arrested, even if to progress the investigation.

And I also hate to say this, but the fact that Kaine could stop in the middle of all this and file for a divorce and a restraining order IMO means he already knows something bad happened to Kyron and there’s no hope of survival, so he’s protecting the baby, and it’s just a recovery effort at this time.
I believe Kaine is aware of the who/why but not the where. My thoughts and prayers are with him, Kyron, and the entire family today. I would sincerely appreciate it if whomever knows where Kyron is come clean privately. Because I am a woman of my word, I will never share what case, but there has been a confession resulting in a prosecution that resulted from a private submission to this site.

Maybe the “surprising” thing Staton referred to has nothing to do with the actual perp, Mastermind, and disappearing of Ky that day. Maybe it’s more about the background against which that took place. The conditions that allowed it to occur. If it’s that, then I’d look to structural things (rules and regulations, hiring practices, etc.) within that community’s institutions (school system, LE at the various levels; even a coverup or failure of one of those institutions to prevent or respond timely to a something like a child in danger).
If Staton’s “surprising” thing is more specific to Ky’s disappearance, then I’d look at what crime(s) was committed against him. Or at the players involved in it. Statistically, it’s overwhelmingly the possibility that Ky was taken for sexual purposes, so I keep an eye out for those facts to crop up.

Looking at the ariel, there is the north (back lot) and the east (large lot). When Underhill references the vehicle in the south lot, do you think he means the south end of the east lot? Are they looking for the vehicles that would have faced where Kaine’s truck was parked?
If I understand what you are saying correctly, Kaine’s white truck is on the shoulder (which is the south end of the school parallel to NW Skyline Blvd.) The other white truck is in the back lot.
Part of what I am trying to reconcile is why they would photoshop the truck on the access road. Someone must have claimed to have parked there. Why would they lie?

The south lot is NOT at the back of the school. The south lot is the entrance lot adjacent to Skyline Blvd. Try a satellite view of the school at Mapquest. The back lot is on the north side of the school.
I think that was a flub by Underhill during the press conf then I was reciting. I am referring to the back lot, adjacent to the covered pavillion, where the dumpsters are located.

What if TMH had already gone & the 2nd white truck moved to the spot (in the front) she was in ?
Would Ky notice @ a distance NOT the Horman truck, I do not think so.
And he was being terrorized by TMH, I think he would almost run to that pick up so as not to anger TMH for waiting for him.
RS probably saw & heard what TMH did & said to Ky – what a nugget of info to use to get Ky to comply.
Telling him she said X & she wanted him to do Y.
IMO it would be easy to get Ky out of the school w/ a request/ threat (?) “coming from” TMH so to speak.
The “note” could of been left at/ in Horman truck @ school before Ky was taken because once she saw/ read it, she would of sped off, especially if there were instructions & her believing it meant she would not go back looking for him because she knew who did it (or thought she did). When she sped off, that was cue to put the next part of plan in play- get Ky out of school as soon as possible to TMH departed so it would appear TMH was still @ school & wanting KY outside ASAP.
Think about it, if Ky was @ the driver side of truck, him being put in truck would be blocked from view from school or he just jumps in & finds in a split second it’s NOT Horman truck/ TMH as the button is pushed to lock doors & truck speeds off. A frighten, screaming child would not be seen thru the dark tinted windows or a second person (or driver if alone) subdued him the second he got in (stun gun?).
IMO A stun gun used on a small child very well could of stopped his heart/ killed him depending on voltage.
That could explain “something went wrong”.
Kyron would of never seen it coming.

I just want to say that I think Kyron has burrowed so deeply into our minds and hearts and filled us with so much love and aching because he is Everyboy. The reams of happy pictures, allowing us to peer into his joyous exploration of life – he is the world’s poster child for innocence and purity. All that documentation – pictorial proof that life is good – and then this. We have all been robbed and violated in a horrible way.
@wordweaver regarding bumping sounds under a houseboat. I have lived in two houseboats and strange sounds from underneath are common. I have also worked on floatation underneath houseboats so I have actually been underneath many. There is all kinds of debris under them, but mostly floating wood. Beavers build homes and raccoons abound. A disturbance in the water, especially after a boat has gone by or because of wind will create a bumping sound. There are also all kinds of other creepy sounds, creaking and the bizarre sounds raccoons make. It takes some time to get used to.
The part of the houseboat that is under the floor but above floatation and logs is about 18″ in depth. The logs and styrofoam that make up the floatation are often more than 10 feet deep. I have heard that a body must be at least 16 feet under water to avoid the smell of decomp. I don’t know if this is true but for someone to dispose of a body under a houseboat they would have to dive to some depth to avoid the smell of decomp. I’m not sure if cadaver dogs could pick up the scent. All that said, a diver once knew told me that disposing of a body under a houseboat would be a perfect method of disposal. Take the body in a boat and dive it under and secure it to a log. Now that creeped me out!

Last night I was watching Hardcover Mysteries and it made me think about this case. It was about a missing woman in the Ottawa area and LE had their suspect and lots of circumstantial evidence, but they really, really wanted to find the victim, so they could make sure they could nail him. They had been watching the suspect 24/7 for awhile and just kept on for a long time to see if he would go back to where he left the victim. Long story short…he eventually did, and that’s how they found the victim and arrested him and had all the evidence they needed to make it stick. I really think that LE knows the who but they are really hoping to find Ky first, for a lot of reasons. I hope this makes sense…
Can we add to the mix and revisit…why show the emails to Desiree and why now? Are the sending a message or trying to smoke someone out? To an extended family member — that’s not brother sister father mother — it’s in-law, most likely, and we’ve talked about Kaine’s sister-in-law. What would she do with those? How would she act on them? Who might she tell about them who would act on them?
I still am considering the family in Washington, but it doesn’t fit with the SI search, Terri’s behavior that day, or her involvement other than sounding the alarm that Kyron was not in a good place (with her). And still, no disprespect to Desiree — truly, without reading what they said it’s hard to say how much they were venting or whether they truly reflected “deep hatred”. That is very hard to imagine.

Great synopsis … couple of loose ends. How do we explain seeing person at Horman truck and/or Ky at this truck… remember, it’s in the front of the school. I have a problem believing though, that Ky would go out the school without being told to by a parent or person of authority.

Do we know at what time the witnesses saw another adult near the truck? Was it when she arrived at the school at 8:45? The time is important. Obviously anyone coming into the SF would be able to see TH the truck and Kyron before they went into the school. The time of that sighting is critical. jmo

I suppose these two thoughts go together and explain why I can not get a handle on ‘who is’ RS. I just want to stick in that I don’t ‘do’ anything related to this professionally except moderate a big, busy online forum. I have a knack for uncovering hidden connections and getting a ‘feel’ for people from their online activity (I snoop my users sometimes, for work reasons). Professionally, I have been in sales all my life (grew up in it); I am confident in my ability to read people. I personally know people who are ‘illegals’. I have lived and traveled in Mexico. I have lived in other countries. I’ve lived in Portland for most of my adult life. I tell you all this to qualify my postings.
But there’s no data about RS, or rather, very little, to study. I can not easily reconcile a young 30 something Mexican man, living in the US illegally and running a *grass cutting business* becoming overly romantically involved with TH (love?), an aspirational suburban housewife who spends her time rubbing shoulders with the hair salon owners and the Intel people and tripping down to Starbucks n’ Target to shop for Halloween costumes. It’s sailing in the wrong direction for her socially. I can’t figure out what RS, who lives far away socially and geographically, was doing spending so much time (? was he) in the Skyline/Beaverton part of town. I can’t figure out more about RS because we have NO social profile of him at all. At least Jaime was out and about with his little executive clubs. Who does RS know, and why?
Even if TH got herself into shady dealings ala selling nasty photos or peddling pot or steroids, it would be *her* relationship to RS that would be isolated.. how would these other people know RS and not know what else TH was up to? Speculation that RS knew DDS via JVK, that RS had worked at one/some of the farms that have been raised in the case, that RS was the grass cutter of choice among the Aloha crowd.. it’s just very difficult for me to ‘see’.
About the ‘grass cutter’.. “landscaper” sounds like he’s out installing and designing things and my take is that RS is a maintenance guy.. they keep your lawn mowed, edges trimmed, leaves picked up and that’s it. They don’t usually go to nurseries. They might buy mulch/gravel in wholesale. I don’t see what connections he’d have to Sauvie. I know it has been put forward that RS and crew participated in the Skyline relandscaping project, but really? How, why, what did they do? Why isn’t there any written account of this, or have it included in some of the video I’ve found about that project? This is not their sort of work and as far as we know, he had no children at Skyline. Why would he volunteer, donate, work cheap? The other companies that were solicited for help are the larger types of actual design/installation/supply (argh, don’t ask me to cite that, I’m on a roll) and were local to the immediate area.
So, I feel stuck about RS and the above is why I can’t work through it. We can not know if BP & RS are associated, because there are no RS tracks online. BP is not exactly an open book either. And overall, I have been shocked to learn how much info is available about individuals online (weeds, man, lock down your photobucket! ).
What if TMH did not even know there was another white truck ? Nor any LSer @ SF ?
What if she always planned to only make “an appearance” & leave (SF all about Ky NOT TMH) ?
What if she “helped” the plan by not staying long ?
What if, yes, this was “payment” for a botched MFH ? -or- May 911 call ? Elsy & children disppearance ? Drugs ? Organized crime ?
What if, isn’tthe point, taking Ky was the only goal?
Having TMH blamed was a “bonus” for all the “other” “what ifs problems” ?
What if Ky fit -a “need”- & had been “groomed” all those months for the “final” possession ?
What if TMH was USED to get to Ky ?
What if the MFH was a decoy for access to “getting to know Ky” ?
What if MFH was agreed to to keep the real reason (Ky) in play ?
What if the MFH was quid pro quo ?
MFH for TMH request but possession of Ky for perp ?

A backwards plan but still connected ?
With TMH wanting MFH (Y) gives Ky (X) what was really wanted all along ?

All this talk of photos makes me nervous (weeds!!!). A poster on WS goes to a haircutter near the Albertons on B-H Hwy. She posted that the haircutter told her she had seen some ‘blue’ photos of TH (not the weightlifting one, but ‘dirty’ ones)this summer. She was going to follow up on it and tell us more, but…
I seriously wondered how those photos would start making the rounds. I wonder where weeds’ versions came from? (and why, or rather, thank dog, I am not on any of those forwarding lists! lol)

Re: RS – Landscaper vs Maintenance Guy. Evie, I think it was your thoughts about him just being what we call, “mow, blow and go” and not an actual landscaper. The man who has tended our yard for forever started as a grass cutter but worked hard and now has a crew for that and he personally oversees landscaping and has even done some for us. But I do see what you’re getting at – what would an upwardly mobile (supposedly) woman be doing with a maintenance guy? Not a great rung in the ladder for her. It does seem plausible to me that she’d be involved with him because she was acting out sexually and he was a buff, virile candidate. I don’t think she was so discriminating this last year. That’s why I think she’s bi polar and was in a manic phase. It’s all about sex and money, odd acting out and grandiosity. Just moo.

That would be the big “if.” The US District Court dismissal on the deportation charge, would not have any effect on other pending charges.

It seems like law enforcement’s difficulty in investigating this case comes from the fact that Kyron disappeared into thin air. IMHO, it be that the “container” theory came about because law enforcement could not find any trace of how Kyron disappeared without a single witness to the kidnapping.

Whoever did this, it has to be someone who could get a child’s trust and compliance immediately. More specifically, the perp would need to get Kyron’s trust and compliance immediately.
IMHO, Kaine Horman’s statement could be interpreted several ways. You have mentioned one possibility, which is that Mr. Horman could be alerting the kidnapper(s) to let Kyron go.
It is also possible that Mr. Horman is acting on the belief that Kyron is being held by someone who knew Kyron and/or the family prior to June 4. Going with that possibility, then Mr. Horman may be acting on the belief that Kyron has not come home because he has been brainwashed or otherwise led to believe that home is unsafe.
Desiree Young’s statements indicate that she believes that someone close to Terri Horman knows what is going on, and that Kyron “saw it all,” what ever “it” might be. If theory is that Ms. Horman is the unsafe person, it would not logically follow that Kyron would voluntarily comply with a request from Ms. Horman or her agent, because compliance with a threat is not voluntary. IMHO, Kyron would not voluntarily comply with an alleged kidnapper unless he believed that the threat was from someone than the kidnapper.
This theory does not account for Stockholm Syndrome, which is a condition that occurs when a hostage comes to identify with his or her hostage taker.
Regarding your statement about lie detector tests, remember that law enforcement can lie as an investigative technique. We do not have anything confirming a failed lie detector test by anyone. Right now, we only have hearsay allegedly from law enforcement about polygraph results. Terri Horman’s alleged statements about her polygraph tests would also have been based on what law enforcement claimed were the results, not sworn testimony. It would be impossible to say whether or not she passed (or flunked) any of the polygraph tests without a sworn statement from the polygraph examiner.
Reading through these posts made me think. Is it not possible that Terri was inside the school, with Kyron to take the photos but sent him back out to the car for some reason, where there was a second driver waiting in the pickup. The pick up itself could have left (with Kyron and Terris cell phone) and made a trip tp Sauvies Island, leaving Terri with the other persons car heading to the Fred Myers to obtain additional supplies with the “pay as you go phone” on hand. Was she directed to be at the Fred Meyer and went to the wrong one by accident at first? Did the baby remain in the truck while Kyron was being transported? Did Terri simply forget she left her cell phone in the truck until her pings were traced? Could Kyron have disappeared much earlier in the morning prior to the later time that Terri was seen leaving? Was she seen driving away in the truck?

If law enforcement believes that Terri Horman kidnapped then murdered Kyron Horman, then why would the airport police be involved? Just as important, why are the Troutdale and Fairview Police Departments involved? Both Troutdale and Fairview are literally upstream from Sauvie Island, which has been the focus of law enforcement searches.
The Portland-Troutdale Airport (a smaller airport) is located in Troutdale, and the town of Fairview is nearby, as is Gresham. Gresham Police Department is NOT part of the task force.

But, my thought process was TMH stating “first” she saw him LAST @ 9:00 am, either inside -or- outside the school. But soon changed to 8:45am inside the school. (TMH thinking he wasn’t SUPPOSE to be in class UNTIL 10:00am)
Maybe, SHE was the one confused about the bells because and more importantly, she wasn’t @ the school @ EITHER times. (!) She had no clue the “time” of “last” SEEING him would be as IMPORTANT since she felt “she was off the hook & the school was on the hook” so to speak for Ky
IMO CDA Underhill may of ‘slipped’ when he asked about the times of 8:15 ~ 8:30am but back peddled to 8:30 ~ 8:45 am, because DA/LE are seeing TMH sightings by staff, students, families etc stop @ the time frame of 8:15 to 8:30am NOT the 8:45 to 9:00am time frame.
IMO TMH could very well felt she made HER appearance & took off -or- saw RS and got spooked enough to abandon all previous plans @ school including waiting to take SF project @ the conclusion of SF @ 10:00am.
Since other children would of been going to class between 8:35 ~ 8:45am, how can it be a totally empty hallway w/ ONLY waving TMH & walking Ky ?
For a woman who was all about Ky following the RULES why would she have him late/tardy for class ?

No. Ky was SUPPOSED to be in his homeroom by 8:45. Ky had been known to be “in the bathroom” when he was supposed to be elsewhere. DY said they were working with him on following directions. He could have been confused about the rules on Science Fair day. Someone could have intentionally confused him.
I guess I don’t understand why the 8:45 bell constrains Ky to be in his classroom. Maybe he was wandering around on the other floor of the school still, for a variety of reasons. Visitors were still wandering around. Am I making any sense? I’m confused.
Things I Have Learned From Following the Morgan Harrington Missing Person Case and How I Think They Apply to the Kyron Horman Investigation
1) Bodies eventually turn up. And they don’t necessarily turn up where LE has been searching. Sometimes they turn up in very obscure places. Without a doubt, when the body turns up we gain insight into the perpetrator.
2) LE may say it’s an isolated incident, even if it’s not. Sometimes the perpetrator is really the random predator that we most fear.
3) LE will hold information close to the chest to help ensure a successful prosecution. Sometimes this comes at the expense of alerting the public to a safety issue (see #2). It’s a hard call to make either way.
4) Law enforcement officers care very deeply about the cases they are investigating. Even when public interest has waned, they are still working tirelessly to resolve the case.

Questions raised about RS—and we all know how temporary ID is with this group—seems possible he was a DDS connect ( gardening/landscaper/”mow, blow, go” (LOL). Wondering if TMH’s running around that morning might have been “collecting $$” for the “expensive ogre.” A few drop sites? Even her few minutes at the gym? Customers? Was she “dealing”? Was Kyron taken as payment?

But there’s no data about RS, or rather, very little, to study. I can not easily reconcile a young 30 something Mexican man, living in the US illegally and running a *grass cutting business* becoming overly romantically involved with TH (love?), an aspirational suburban housewife who spends her time rubbing shoulders with the hair salon owners and the Intel people and tripping down to Starbucks n’ Target to shop for Halloween costumes. It’s sailing in the wrong direction for her socially.
I can’t figure out what RS, who lives far away socially and geographically, was doing spending so much time (? was he) in the Skyline/Beaverton part of town. I can’t figure out more about RS because we have NO social profile of him at all.

Another thought IF Ky knew TMH was gone from the school, he could of been “enjoying” his freedom out from beneath her critical grasp and was roaming, wandering all over the school.
IF he was ‘doing’ that, he was extremely vulnerable to an abduction/ kidnapping.
Regardless, TMH left him sooner than later.
IMO she had no CLUE where in the school &/ or the ground he LAST was.
But that “information” of not “knowing” & having to admit the ACTUAL TRUE TIME of her departure was NOT something she was/ is willing to admit. Which has slowed LE in creating a timeline/ movements of Ky that morning in the school.
IMO he was un-supervised & TMH KNOWS she started the cascade of events by not being there w/ him &/or making sure he was in the care of his teacher/staff. This “fact” would be true regardless of the MFH etc. IMO TMH abandoned Kyron that day in his school because she simply did not care and she had TMH things to do. Hanging out w/ a child she despise was not high on her list of good times. She made “an appearance” what more could he or anyone else want of her ?
I may be totally off base but it keeps nipping @ me, Ky could not have just went “poof” into thin air. Some one did this. There was a start-inside to get him outside, so on & so forth.
It comes down to EITHER she SAW the abduction happen or she abandon him to roam freely & at which gave someone else the clear opportunity to take him. I really have tried to think w/Occam’s razor or KISS,
Maybe she always cut short her “visits” to the school w/ Ky ( but always telling others how much time she spent there “helping” Ky). Maybe abductor knew that.
Maybe KH MADE her go to school w/Ky & she was none to happy w/ that. Maybe she thought she had already done HER part by bringing the SF project on 06/03. Maybe she was pissed more so @ Ky ‘cuz she was told to go AGAIN & her get EVEN was to leave him alone.
I truly do not know the “real truth” but it feels “right”. Yes, TMH did “leave” Ky @ Skyline but I do not believe @ the time(s) she has told @ least to the public knowledge
Am I making sense ? Geez, maybe I am looking @ it all wrong.

I’m here and Sunday works for me. I actually thought of doing this by meeting at the Wall of Hope and bringing a “BOC” card to display on jacket like a nametag, but didn’t get around to suggesting it because I hadn’t thought it through.
I understand the concern about someone else finding out – more from wanting to listen to our conversation more than causing harm, but who knows. Actually, might have a reporter show up.
I wonder if one of us could send a private message to Blink for the time and directions to a place, and Blink could email each of us who tell her privately that we’d like to know, so that it wouldn’t show online – if she’d be willing.
Hopefully, it won’t be snowy or icy – not the easiest area to get to in those conditions.
I would definitely meet one or all of you even if Kyron has been found by then, and/or anyone has been arrested – which I hope is true.

Blink insists Ky did not leave with Terri — and that fits. She insists LS (is that Rudy?) and associates are involved. Blink, could you confirm your believe the RS and associates and not an LS and associates are involved?

Just wanted to say that I was bringing in the mail today and happened to glance down at an advertising mailer and there was a picture of our little guy in a Have you Seen Me poster. I was glad to see his pic all the way down here in South Left Coast.
