    The prosecution team were brilliant. Unfortunately, there was an imaginary jury.

    —————————————

    Or as Jose likes to call it, “Fantasy” jury. Dumbarses. I really pray out of curiousity at some point they read all the Discovery out there and realize exactly who they just let walk out of that jail. Maybe the jurors will be lucky enough to cross paths in Pinellas County one of these days since she allegedly has such ties there, what with her buds Zanny, Annabelle and all them. Move to Tampa Casey. We hear 12 jurors just LOVE you there and are dying to personally meet you. Perhaps one of you will be her next “project prop.”

    Defense Atty Cheney Mason was less than polite or professional at his after trial conference today guess he left his professional manners at home..

    —————————————-

    There was never anything “professional” about Mason, IMO. He’s simply a guy who decided to put on a cowboy hat but forgot to quietly ride off into the sunset years ago. He is a has-been who is unaware he presents himself as such which is the worst kind. I have met classier used car salesmen.

    Well, I have boycotted Jane Fonda since the Vietnam War. No cosmetics, books, movies, nada. Over at Blink’s sister site, scaredmonkeys.net, I am hoping a thread will start like we did for Natalee. Boycott boycott and more plans and actions now and for the future, for Caylee.

    By the way NIMBY not in my back yard… we have enough weirdos in Hollywood. Let Casey live in Hollywood, FL! or maybe a home in the middle of the Everglades with only airboat access. Oh no, her ego won’t take that.

    God Bless Blink, those here, all Goodness, Good Works and Caylee. Love, IBE

    will be writing a letter of SUPPORT & THANKS to Jeff Ashton & his team.

    THEY DID RIGHT by Caylee Marie…

    ———————————–

    I thought I was the only one that had thought of that! I had planned on doing this as well riverpearl, although I had originally hoped on sending a “congrats” on the verdict card instead of the “thank you” cards I’m actually sending. Orange County will certainly miss Mr. Ashton … another disappointment hearing about his retirement today. God Bless!

    This is the first criminal case I have ever followed. From the first day to today I have spent hundreds of hours on it. I am sick and heartbroken. Still somehow I don’t feel like it has been a waste of time. Casey did get away with murder, but she still spent almost 3 years in jail, which is better than nothing. The Anthony’s have been thru a hell that is what they themselves made. My deepest sympathy is for LE especially the prosecutors.
    Thanks Blink for hosting a terrific site and for being a champion for Caylee. Justice was not served today.

    She is a CONVICTED FELON with SIX FELONY CONVICTIONS and permanently has that status.

    ——————————————

    And the Zenaida Gonzales defamation case hasn’t even gone forward yet! So how can she possibly leave Orlando like Mason is saying if she still has to be tried in that case?

  10. Lleah says:

    The jury system in this country is antiquated. It has become impossible to collectively find 12 people who are competent enough to serve the court and process information in an intelligent enough manner to produce a coherent verdict. This jury wanted to go home today. They were unwilling to stay sequestered for the additional 48 hours that would have been required of them had she been found guilty. Attorneys must have 8 years of education…the judge has more than one degree and exponential experience…the investigators are trained extensively…but the jurors who make the ultimate decisions can work in a doughnut shop…have not finished highschool…and have records of driving under the influence and possesing drug paraphenalia. It was said many times during the trial that this jury was “unsophisticated”….they were ignorant.
    Casey will now make 10000′s. But she will strike again. She is now a sociopath that has been emboldened….a very dangerous narcissist. Sleep well George and Cindy…..

  11. Lleah says:

    The alternate juror who spoke today said that the jurors did not believe George Anthony. If this is true, George needs to be arrested and charged…the public deserves to know what happened to Caylee. Millions of taxpayers $’s have gone into prosecuting Casey.

  12. SusanNH says:

    Blink, you have rippled millions.

    “Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope … And crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring these ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance .”~ Robert F. Kennedy, 1966

    Florida, United States and the World are outraged.

    Be ashamed Casey Anthony, be ashamed. JURY. You just wanted to go home to your own lives. You the Jury smell to High Heaven. I think the Jury should be sentenced to a five hour visit to the Orlando County Morgue for a very long and large smell test. Can this Jury ever show thier faces? Oh yes they will. There is an agenda here.

    Many many will now speak for Caylee. She is our sunshine.

    Tears and sadness filled my day. Now I am just plain angry.

  13. mommyoftwins says:

    I’m not quite sure why I am posting. I am, however, compelled. Before little Caylee’s body was recovered we were on a “Make a Wish Trip” for our darling 4 year old daughter, in Florida from Idaho.

    I found myself staring into the swampy fields as we drove, wondering if that was where her mother could have laid her. I looked at my little girls face-wondering how a mother could not report her baby missing; while here we were trying to make wonderful memories for our sick daughter not much older then Caylee. It baffled me that while we were fighting for our daughter, someone could possibly take the life of theirs. Ever since, I have hoped and prayed that there would be justice for little Caylee…

    So, I am here today, as heartbroken as the day I found out that Casey had indeed dumped her daughters little body in a swamp. I just wanted you to know that I have been following you, Blink, since the beginning. You have touched my life, even though I don’t post. I feel as though I know all of you, and it only seemed right to end this Caylee journey letting you know. Thank you for your dedication to this precious little one.

    I would also like to remind those boasting that Casey has gotten off…Just because a jury of her peers has found that there was not sufficient evidence for a conviction does not mean they do not believe her guilty…or that she is not guilty. Judgement day will come for Ms. Anthony at some point, this I do know.

  14. Löni says:

    What bothers me the most is no one will ever have to take the responsability of duct taping Sweetheart Caylee and dumping her like trash. That is what makes me nuts! Shame on that family. Shame on all people who hid and lied and helped cover such action.

    What will I do? When will I do it? With whom?

    I will stand up for the “underdog.

    According to God’s word, Blink, you did everything right and with a pure heart. You did right by Caylee. You’ve done right as a voice for the voiceless.

    Sister’s prayer needs to be imprinted in our hearts and minds. We cannot make sense of the senseless but we can believe God is just. I’ve been sobbing, praying, asking for some kind of clarity as to what happened. I was supposed to attend a concert tonight…Alison Krauss, one of my favourite artists. I couldn’t go. I’ve waited 20 years to see her. We are all hurting with you Blink. I refuse to stop believing in you, in your cause. I refuse to give up on my God. He is just. He will have the last say. Whatever comes of this, there will be a reckoning only He can administer.

    ..and for now, we will all find our way. We’ll find our strength and continue to be a voice for the voiceless. Blink…you have us to lean on. Whatever it takes, we need to continue to be faithful to the righteous cause of helping those who cannot defend themselves.

    Shut out the vain who celebrate on Caylee’s grave. As Jesus was about to give is soul to God, even He prayer to His father, asking him to forgive those who mocked him…’Please, Father, forgive them. They know not what they do”. Shut your tv off. Focus on what is good. The truth will set us all free.

    Forgive my babbling, but I see many of my friends on BOC….new and pioneers who knew the truth but feel completed blind sighted. This was NOT for nothing. Caylee was worth the fight and we, her REAL family, will memorialize her in our own ways but she will remain, the inspiration to keep fighting for the helpless.

    Blink, I believe in you. I always have. I always will.

    To my online family….each of you….Caylee heard you. Caylee knows she is loved. She is ours, more importantly, she is God’s child.

    @JannyFay- I’m right there with you.

    The Champaign party was totally inappropriate. And speaks volumes about the Duhfense team.

    Caylee Marie Anthony is still dead. At the hands of her own mother.

    And certain people are CELEBRATING.

    Celebrating setting a child murderer free.

    DISGUSTING.

    I guess you all have seen Cheney Mason’s third finger salute to the reporters and people outside the restaurant while he was guzzling champagne.

    No class at all!

  17. MsEnscene says:

    You know I have to take heart that Casey Anthony will seek the next available male like a heat-seeking missile. And you know what? He’ll be crap. And that’s the only kind she will attract from now on. And the only kind of people she will attract, too, to populate her empty hours.
    Does anyone think that any of the good friends like Amy, Kristina, Jesse, Ryan will have anything to do with her?

    After the media blitz dies down, who will care about her? She vanish like Amy Fisher from the public consciousness. Yes, she’ll make money so she doesn’t have to go back to Cindy, but Baez won’t be able to promote too much because people are sickened with her. She really is like OJ. Eventually she will be ostracized.

  18. Sweetie_Pi says:

    I have to tell ya, Casey hit the jackpot sleeping with rich connected “juice”. Infiltrate the jury? Piece of cake. Infiltrate FDLE, mess up lab results? Piece of cake for Florida. Been going on as far as I personally know for sure since 2003-2004. Incl. messing up the FBI lab. She can still be re-tried if any of that is discovered though it may take a new law being passed. That jury, each and every one, aiding and abetting child killing. They should all drown themselves.

    Here in Oregon a young girl was kidnapped and never seen again until her bones were discovered 2 decades later. One man (and one man only) was the person of interest for all that time and finally a trial was held this year in Multnomah County. “Not Guilty” was the verdict. The parents were devastated. The Prosecutor was quoted as saying the same thing you did tonight, Blink, that he “let her down”. You have to know that there are things we have control over in life, and other things that we have no control over. The verdict is something we have no control over whatsoever. I hope those jurors feel the disapproval of 86% of the population. The are such cowards they won’t even discuss it with us. Meanwhile, I really hope you do not lose your spirit over the verdict. Life is weird. We’re all going to have to roll with these punches. We don’t have any other choice. Thanks for fighting for little Caylee. You are a hero.

    Do we turn the tv off when Casey and the Ants spread their venom. I would think that is a personal decision….but I chose not to give them any of my attention on any level.

    I never did buy into their lies before. I refuse to now. We all have the choice to cut this evil distraction from our daily lives. I know I will NEVER entertain their selfish, dispicable ways. I’ve heard enough. I’ve seen enough.

    They are all dead to me. Including Baez and everyone who KNEW she was guilty but furthered her cause at everyone elses expenses.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if a jury member, somewhere down the road, comes forward to share what they know…and tell us…this was a verdict of convenience, and I can no longer live with the lie.

    Lizzy, I support your suggestions 110%.

    My love to all.

    Well, we all now know why Cindy wanted to copyright “justice for Caylee”. She would have none of that. She not only copyrighted it, but locked it in a box and threw it in a swamp. She can’t; however, prevent God’s justice for Caylee. I am praying that she is charge and convicted of perjury. I want her to never ever ever be able to have a nursing license. Even though I am on disability for auto-immune diseases that are destroying my body, I hold my license close to my heart. I will never let it slide. So, Cindy, sleep lightly.

    Blink,

    In the words of CS Lewis, “Friendship begins with that wonderful spark of knowing and being known and it takes time and effort to develop a relationship of shalom. The reality is, we will never find a friend, we can only grow a friend. Of all our friendly relationships that come and go over time, only a small number will develop into deep friendship. Friendships take a huge investment of time and energy, but they are worth it. Friends enrich our lives and keep loneliness at bay. Relationships of shalom are nurtured.”

    Blink, most of us have never met, yet through your advocacy we feel as though we are friends. Some may never post but still feel that kindred spirit to what you say and do so eloquently. Blink, you have failed no one..you have brought folks together with a bond that is deeper than the people we see on a daily basis. Please know that and experience shalom shalom (perfect peace).

    I am so sick about this. Blink, you did not let anyone down. I am sorry to say, but those twelve jurors did. I watched this trial, and it belies logic that these individuals all voted not guilty in less than ten hours. I can’t wrap my head around that. Something is very, very wrong here. Did I miss something? Where was the common sense? Any small ping of doubt could not have been reasonable. This is a travesty of justice. Not ok. I am so sad…..

  27. Morgan says:

    As I sit here now, in these early hours of morning, having tossed and turned all night with the wonder of what went wrong, I’m reminded of all of the times Judge Perry reprimanded Baez, and cling to the hope that Baez will soon be disbarred.

  28. justwondering says:

    I am NOT ok with the concept of “Better for a hundred guilty to go free than to wrongly convict an innocent person.” That is precisely why we are up to our a**es in pedophiles, rapists and any other miscreant you can imagine. It is no longer safe to walk alone, let your children play at a playground or even be in your own home without being at risk of being victimized by the human garbage that is allowed to cycle through our criminal justice system. It is unbelieveable that a person can get away with torture and murder of a child if they can just manage to keep their traps shut long enough.(Kyron, Haleigh etc.) My wish for this case is that George decides to end it all by erasing his family then himself. And…. that the entire defense team trips in front of a bus.

But the compassion, logic, heart, desire for truth, intelligence, and humor I have experienced reading at BOC has made me a more enlightened person. That comes from you, dear lady, as you often say, “this is your house,” you have been one of Caylee’s best heroes, along with those noble LE and prosecutors and others who tried to do what’s right. It breaks my heart to read you think you failed her–no way, “Jose.” Hard as it seems today, the day after a major societal FAIL, keep the light, Ms. Blink, Caylee still needs you, and we still need you. I have been an avid reader of this site since I found it when Somer Thompson went missing, since then keeping up with all of the cases Blink has followed. I’m coming out of lurkdom today to post to those who have said they feel their time was “wasted” now. Caylee Marie Anthony was only a “waste” to one person. Those who have followed her case, spent hours,days,weeks,months,years researching and trying to find answers for this poor baby- the time you have spent is not a waste. It is the love that this baby girl deserved. Many wonder what good comes out of this, this empty feeling of justice not being served. While it is hard to see any silver lining, I believe I have seen part of Caylee’s legacy while posting here and in my life. So many of you throughout the threads we have gone through have been so touched by this little girl I have seen it repeatedly said that the poster is going to give their child,neice,nephew,grandbaby,whoever an extra hug or kiss, that they were going to hold them a little longer. I teach preschool, some of my children remind me so much of little Caylee. I do not know what kind of families my students go home to at night, but seeing a family dynamic such as the Anthony’s that that poor baby lived with makes me pray that none of my children go home to that, and if by chance they do, I make sure they get the love they need while with me at school. Yesterday, I was nearly brought to tears because after the verdict was read, I had several parents that left work, came in to school just to give their little one a hug and kiss, just to hold them, and then went back to work. I believe that is what the “worth” in all of this is. Giving our children a little extra loving, loving them a little harder – that is what knowing about Caylee Marie Anthony has brought to us. Thank you Blink for bringing this baby into our homes through your site, my thoughts are with you, give Blinkette and Blink Jr. some extra loving today; that is what Caylee needed and I believe it will help you get through this time too.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    You need to put that thought out of your mind..
    Little Caylee Marie Anthony had millions of people fighting for her & many did not get the chance to know her.. The 12 people selected for that jury failed her because they failed to listen to & look at the evidence as presented & they took sides in the personality contests.. As I listened to that alternate juror who apparently was the first to the money pit for interviews he talked about Georges personality on the stand & he referenced how he felt about Mr Ashton’s personality & style.. So this jury decided the case on the people they liked or their perception of the people presenting the evidence not what the evidence showed them or where it took them..
    I’m just puzzled by what happened since the beginning of the trial with Dr Vass & all those notes they appeared to be taking.. One reporter on InSession had reported they were filling up notebooks & asking for more so what happened ? Runaway Jury ?
  46. Bees Knees says:
    Blink please do not blame yourself. I know that Ashton and Linda DB are probably feeling the same way but it’s just not true. At the risk of sounding like a flake, I have felt from the start that there was something bigger at play in this case than we have seen. It has always felt like the defense MUST win this case at ANY cost. We don’t have the whole story yet but I believe we will. As time goes on the truth will be revealed.
    In the meantime I hope there is a huge public backlash and people will refuse to watch the medias that will be promoting kc and her slimy defense team. If they don’t have an audience they will eventually dry up and blow away. We are the power, people. We can make it happen.
    If Casey knows who the father of Caylee is and that he is still alive, his life may not be worth much to her and she could seek her PI’s on him to discredit him so that he could never take her on in a civil case.
