I have turned off my television regarding this case. I also will not buy any of the smut books or articles of anyone involved with this defense or jury. These people will not profit from me in any way. I will only visit this site as an advocate for the justice that will prevail. I am praying.

I wonder where she will live….with her parents? I don’t think George wants her back. I believe Cindy will do anything & she will want Casey to have another child to replace Caylee. I think George will leave & they will divorce & Cindy & Casey will live unhappily ever after.

  6. JR says:

Susan2: You have echoed my exact thoughts. The jury obviously decided things in the first night of “deliberations” since they knew to dress up and be ready to split town the next day. So basically in 4 hours, 12 people all agreed that Casey Anthony was so clearly “not guilty” of any charges related to Caylee’s death, that they didn’t even need to re-consider any of the evidence. The same evidence that has pretty much convinced the rest of the world of the opposite (obvious guilt) and fascinating sociopathy. Yes the cause of death was “underestablished” but the rest was so clear – even that “huge waste” phone call alone was enough writing on the wall. Scott Peterson’s jury didn’t need a cause of death for a conviction of death, but apparently every single person in Casey’s jury saw this as such a stretch to convict, they didn’t even need a discussion. Apparently this jury didn’t even need their instructions either. In other words, this jury did not do their job, they had already decided before they went in. Something had them discussing things despite the judge’s daily reminders not to.But what? Were all these people so selfish and immature they were more pissed off about missing out on one 4th of July and a few days of their summer vacations? Or did something happen to really piss off or offend them, enough to say “f-you” to the legal process? Were they deeply affected by Cindy’s obvious turmoil, disgusted by the media circus and ticket lines outside – rejecting their position to further a witch hunt? OR was there tampering to a level beyond the one juror mistrial, enough to succeed a consensus of immediate acquittal and sworn secrecy?

Did this have something to do with the Anthony’s sudden orchestrated turn around in testimony and Baez unity? Lee’s reason for meeting with Baez, deliberate contradiction with Cindy and absence thereafter? And how is these alternate jurors left before any discussions yet the media spokesmen who somehow only concede the verdict reasoning in anything they happen to say? WTF happened here???? BLINK – what do you think??

  7. Krystal says:

What I do not get is how you can get away legally with not reporting your toddler msising? Isn’t that child neglect/abuse leading to her death? A two year old cannot care for herself, so if she is missing and you do not report that fact are you not responsible indirectly for her demise? People are getting fined for spanking, for not sending their kids to school regularly, being frowned upon if you serve them a happy meal…but hey, if they go missing – what the heck – it is not your responsibility – and you may just beat a murder rap. I am sure some murderous moms are out there pondering just that – don’t report it, let the child decompose and then hire a Baez to say there is no linkage. She should have been convicted at least on the manslaughter due to child abuse (not reporting Caylee missing). She also should be fined all the taxpayer money wasted by LE in following up on her lies.

    So, Housey………….

Are you implying the ‘A’ family should be annointed with their own series, SOPRANOS so to speak ? Kinda’ reality/documentary series..I’d cancel the cable before I’ll watch anything “A”.

Boycotting is a very inexpensive yet effective way of being heard.

The sad thing is, I’m sure it’s already been offered. I wouldn’t watch either.

I hope those people get refused service and escorted out of stores for the rest of their lives.

  10. PamVA says:

Predicition: I think you will see Baez and Casey implode over money in the next year. She’s gonna make it and he’s gonna want it. I heard on the radio this morning she’s gotten two offers for reality TV shows.

I can’t wait to hear her first interview because I’m sure she’s going to be seeking justice for her little girl and go on a mission to find out who killed her. Oh wait, she had that chance. She asked for Tony’s cell number instead.

  11. noJustice says:

What kind of Bella Vita can Casey have, once she leaves jail? None! She’ll be harrassed on a daily basis. No one will want to be associated with her, except her lame law team. She’ll probably change her name, get plastic surgery and move to Mexico after she’s set free. Boycott any network, any book…anything associated with the Anthony family. Don’t let them profit on the death of Caylee.

Casey has no idea, just how many people hate her, that’s a strong word, but many do, especially the people of Florida. She wont be able to show her face again, in that state, especially if her and Jose sue the state for holding her in jail for 3 years. However,if the judge gives her time served, tomorrow, doubt she can sue for those 3 years.

I wonder when they found the time to read through & understand the jury instructions & charges etc that they were all given..

  16. Redrock says:

Lessons learned. Present evidence on the case(s) you have, not on the case you want or hope it to be. Also – charging her with those moronic misdemeanors left the jury an option of taking the easy way out. The state should have dismissed those counts prior to trial and included some lesser felonies as jury crumbs. The prosecution in this case basically had Casey’s multiple lies, some unattributed computer records, and the scent of putrefaction. The feds have a tax lien. I think a creative prosecutor could still find some uncharged crimes here. And given enough time and rope, she will surely stumble again, just as OJ did. Hard as it seems, things have a way of working out in the end.

  17. susanm says:

by the way, we also caught the “i got away with it” smirks ,that others, here have mentioned ,my friend and i both shrieked about it at the same time, watching on tv,it just seemed so obvious that was the thought in her head.

  18. RiddleMeThis says:

I woke up and realized it wasn’t just a bad dream. I too have somewhat digested this more. I say this to all of you respectfully. I can’t support this jury’s decision in any way no matter how it’s twisted.

I’m left with this thought……The rights of a parent to remain silent should be limited in the circumstances of having a child in their immediate custody (with no voice) inexplicably die, and further not be reported to emergency services and/or authorities, and who’s body is concealed.

All three of these elements were proven to this jury.

The parent should have no right to the presumption of innocence by their silence under these circumstances which in effect supercedes the rights of that child with no voice outside of that same parent. IMO.

If a parent refuse to talk or provide a plausible verifiable explanation under these circumstances, fine, then give them an automatic sentence.

The problem as I see it is Casey’s 5th amendment right trumped her obligation as a parent under the law, and thereby trumped Caylee’s rights as a human being. Caylee (or any child who is wholly dependent) should have a stronger right of protection under the law than her parent’s right to be silent. And it’s a travesty no matter how you view it.

I had a great fear the jury would just not want to accept that a young attractive mother was capable of doing something like this. I believe the majority of us here wanted to believe it was an accident at first too. To think otherwise goes against everything we ‘think we know’ as a truth about humanity.

Thank you for allowing me to vent.

Blink, having followed you from the Scared Monkeys at the inauguration of Blink on Crime I want you to know that I have great respect for you and your team as well as the many faithful associates who post here. You have always been and I am most assured will always be a voice of compassion and reason crying out in the dessert of confusion and despair. Far too many individuals are wreaking havoc upon the most vulnerable within this fallen broken world. We as a people, I humbly believe, are to be advocates for those whom cannot defend themselves in their worldly lives as well as in their premature deaths. You have opened my eyes to the travesties committed by the criminal elements of society. Your despair regarding the outcome of the Casey Anthony trial is to be expected. Your investment in the promotion of truth and justice was and is immense and as such your heart, many of our hearts were profoundly broken in response to the not guilty verdict.

In this world justice is not a given, yet we are to continue to invest ourselves in its pursuit. We cannot let the obscene celebrated victory of evil stop our quest for truth, justice, and righteousness. Their revelry is self-serving and their contribution to malevolence will promote their eventual demise. It is my belief that each of us will be held accountable for our chosen behavior in this world and ultimately those who are in positions of authority and/or influence will be held to a higher standard. Truth is the highest standard and the highest goal and it will prevail over every seemingly arrogant evil idolatrous entity. It is my belief that the ultimate battle has been won and those in the service of evil are ignorant rabble amidst a trash heap of dung.

As a human being, a Christian, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, an undergraduate student of social work and criminal justice, and a current counseling graduate student I sincerely appreciate you, your team, and the work you all do. As I struggle with living within the reality of this world and seek to find a voice of reason, I am repeatedly drawn to your website because of the authenticity of your convictions, the depth of your compassion, and the genuineness of your work. Blink, your heartfelt investment in what I have heard referred to and now like to call “the rebuilding of Shalom” is greatly needed. May you, as I I have, find validation, comfort, and encouragement in the reality of these words, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33. And “Pursue godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith.” 1 Timothy 6:11-12.

Thank you, Blink. May God continue to comfort and encourage you.

After having lived here in Florida since ’95 & being involved in Florida politics I can tell you that there are many, many counties here that are very conservative in their thinking & their ways & Pinellas County is one of those conservative thinking counties.. Most times the residents of those conservative counties cannot & do not think outside the box & they cannot & do not see the forest for the trees, those residents are firm in their thinking & beliefs; which is fine for them & is their decision to live with but not for the jury needed for this case.. I questioned at the beginning the Judge’s decision to go to Pinellas County for jury selection because they are so conservative in their thinking in that area.. Personally I would have gone to the other coast of Florida like Palm Beach County more open minded residents as in the county I live in which is Manatee County more open minded & open to new things & changes.. Unless you’ve lived in Florida you can never know the differences in each county & the residents there & the further south you go in the Florida counties the more conservative they are & not the type for jurors for this particular type of case.. This jury needed to consist of people open to new sciences & able to think on its own which are questions that weren’t asked during jury selection.. Even Duval County which is Jacksonville or Leon County which is Tallahassee would have been better which is where I thought the Judge was originally heading..

Wonder if the “real” Caylee father could be located for some kind of lawsuit. Ms. Gonzolas’ has subpoenaed Casey at the jail for a deposition in her case….I just feel a need to DO something!

  26. connie says:

The jury did not do their job. What if this is a trend? Due to the computer age we don’t have to do the work or take the time to read a book or do research on a topic because it is easier to find the answer in seconds-what what we want we it now. This jury did not abide by what they were charged with doing. We must go about jury selection in a different manner. My idea for years has been to offer a small tax break for jury duty, that way you may get better quality in a jury.

  27. Jnpgh says:

I still think that the jury just wanted to get home. I think they were read all of those jury instructions, all of those differemt charges …and figured all the Anthonys lie – who can possibly figure out head or tail here ….so let’s get the heck out of Dodge (aka Orlando).

In my mind, there is no way that they could have gotten to even marginally discuss the nuances between and among all of the possible charges and figured. Lying to LE – There you go!

This was not jury nullification, this was jury fatigue …

For Casey’s part …she is still a sociopathic narcissist …so she WILL re-offend in some way. That type can’t help it. Just like OJ and Joren van der Sloot ….like moths attracted to the light. They ALWAYS re-ffend because rules simply aren’t applicable to them. It will take a bit, perhaps …but it will happen.

ANd thanks to Baez…Casey will already be let out of jail with $68,000 lien from the IRS because no one thought to file taxes for her for the ABC $200K payday. OOPs!! She’s already on her way to a next offense: tax evasion!! HEY CASEY – that’s what the Feds got AL Capone for ….Baez’s buddy Geraldo Rivera can tell you all about Al Capone …he opened up the guy’s save – and the money was gone!

Just my opinion– I think that the juror who had the cruise scheduled on July 7th, may have been the one that said guilty, and was reminded that they would be there for another week or longer for the death sentencing and they wanted to go home??? I think this because how 12 or 17 people can all come to the same conclusion is totally beyond me???? There had to be some convincing done and it was not by what was presented in court, possibly pressure from the other jurors???

Also another thing, how could she be found guilty of lying when according to the jury, she didn’t do ANYTHING to the baby, so what did she lie about???????
I am just not buying that she was found NOT GUILTY OF ANYTHING??? The jurors don’t think that she was the last one with the baby and the baby is in the woods?? That is not abuse or neglect, to improperly dispose of a body???
Also, the alternate says that they felt George lied??? That makes no sense whatsoever, because Casey lied too???? And there was a heck of alot more evidence against her than George???
Sorry, but I cannot wrap my head around this???

  33. mzblither says:

i think the jurors did not want another week or more of sequestration due to a death penalty phase. they were done with it, over it, tired and sick of being away from home. casey doesn’t need her parents support or funds, she will now be a celebrity. i am sure jose baez will be glad to help her manage all her public appearances and cash for same. i heard that jose baez is going to have his own show on telemundo television, much like the nancy grace show. it seems like several people will profit from the death of little caylee. it makes me so sick i can barely stand it.

MAY proceed with some legal action against Casey and/or Baez.
Baez stated in Court — that Caylee was never missing.
Stated that Caylee was already deceased and Baez + Casey knew that – but sent hundreds of volunteers out to search anyway.
Waste of money and good peoples time and danger to them for no reason.

Should Texas Equuasearch be re-imburrsed the $112,00 that they spent in a fraudulent search effort??
He is wondering and talking with attorney’s about this – is this an option?
Also wonders if the public thinks this is something they should consider proceeding with (wants citizens input).
b/c it was average public citizens that came out and searched for Caylee in the swamps and rain for weeks – wondering if they should attempt to pursue any legal actions ??

He’s not sure – but speaking with attorneys again today.

I can see how rigid thinking might be the effect of some, but quite impossible to believe this be the intrinsic shared mindset of all 12. oh and the five who happened to reason the verdict when they were already home. they are giving reasons like unclear motive but had they weighed in the instructions they would know the law says it doesn’t apply. it seems people who don’t think outside the box would recognize videos and audios of someone’s blatant, proven lies more than the mere suggestion of deceptive nuances of someone being humiliated on the stand (George). I would have no problem accepting the verdict, had they actually considered the three years of hard work and evidence provided specifically for their part. I also remember hearing some variety of well reasoned people during jury selection. i’m not arguing the reality of a demographic you are helping me to understand, just doubting the reality of how any 12 people could follow the jury process and concede this verdict in record time.
