I’m wondering if now that George and Cindy have trademarked Caylee’s name (or it’s pending), most likely thinking that Casey would be in prison for a very long time, do they now have to relinquish the rights back to Casey as Caylee’s mother? Or would Casey have to pay them to use Caylee’s name in her potential future books, movies, licensing fees, etc.?

You could NOT make enemies here (unless you’re talking about Ross). I can keep an open mind and respect your opinion as much as anyone elses. :)

I don’t think Baez has the capacity to believe he’d be held accountable for any wrong doing. He is so much like his client. I would not put anything past him nor would I EVER trust him. He thinks he’s slicker than snot on a door knob. Down the road, I would not be surprised to learn he’s involved in something sinister and completely over the top illegal. This was not about Casey. This was not about Caylee. This was all about Baez. You just have to youtube his past media circus to see…the guy has issues and insecurities. He had no business giving interviews. It was never in the best interest of his client but it sure as heck was for him.

As for jeopardizing his career, I don’t think he thinks it ever came that close. Again, my friend, it’s just my opinion.

I look forward to reading more of your posts on BOC! :D

@ Eloise…all my best and prayers to you my friend.

I’m pledging that everyone take a break from the shock…and hang out with people you love. I’ve been outside with my son and his friends. It appears to be 1 on 4 in a water gun fight. How fair is that? It’s NOT and I’m loving every minute!!!! Going to refuel now.

I love you to the furthest star and back again!!!!!!

I’m afraid instead of pouring over the evidence and jury instructions these jurors were studying their media packets. Check out the latest TMZ article:

Casey Anthony Juror: Ask Me Anything … For a Price

    http://www.tmz.com/2011/07/06/casey-anthony-juror-paid-interviews-lawyer-trial-murder-child-caylee-anthony-network-money-jury/

One of the jurors in the Casey Anthony trial has decided to go public with his side of the story — but TMZ has learned, he’s not talkin’ … unless the price is right … and 5-figure offers are already pouring in.

A publicist for the unidentified juror is sending a letter to media outlets, claiming, “Our client — a married, college-educated, 33-year-old white male with two young children — is willing to consider granting one or more media interviews so long as the opportunities are paid.”

So sad, more people making money off the blood of this dead baby.

  4. April says:

I hope every individual that has been “wronged” in some by the Anthony’s goes after them with the utmost vigor. That is the only solace I can take away from this fiasco. When she walks out of that jail tomorrow, I will not be watching. I can no longer support any organization that will promote this “murderer” and her accomplices. I might have to cancel cable altogether. Thank you again Blink for everything you do! You are an amazing lady and this “travesty” will only make your cause and search for justice even stronger.

  5. noJustice says:

How fast was that jury? They should be investigated.

Did anyone catch the Judge looking over the charges? He had to do a double take and reread the pages, to make sure he wasn’t over looking at least a manslaughter or something. Then when the clerk got up to read, you could tell she was shocked too.

  6. TiaMaria says:

Blink, please don’t ever say that you have failed Caylee. Please don’t even think that. There are PLENTY of people who have failed her, but not one person who sought to be her voice, or to bring justice for her sweet little soul has EVER failed her.

In addition, I would like to remind those that do not want to see Casey or Baez or any of the defense team apologists or hanger-on-ers profit from this travesty that there are certain things we can do.

Unfortunately book deals and movie deals will pay them an advance sum. They’ll profit. If the book or movie bombs, well that’s the price of doing business to some publishers and producers. By all means, boycott them, but don’t be surprised when they still make a nice sum from their advances.

However there is something we can do to send a message right now. Turn off the TV. Do NOT give ratings to any show – talk shows, HLN type shows, news magazines such as 20/20, Dateline, 48 Hours etc when these people or the harpys that spout their BS (such as Linda Kenney Baden, Dr. Baden, Jennifer Barringer, Andrea Lyon – you know the main offenders) are scheduled to be on. TURN IT OFF. If you are really serious you can write or submit complaints online to the networks they appear on as well as any advertisers that have commercials on those shows.

The same goes for magazines, People, US, and the like. Do not buy them. Peek in line at the grocery store if you must, but DO NOT PAY A PENNY.

The less interest that is shown, the sooner the screeching will die down. If it becomes “yesterday’s news” quickly, maybe those publishers and producers will take notice also.

Send a message loudly and clearly that you don’t want any part of these pepple. This is all we have left that we can do for Caylee. Tell everyone you know that cares.

Be strong. Turn the TV channel.

  7. starshadow says:

Remember this: Regardless of the trial’s outcome, Caylee is in a better place now then she ever was in life. It would be wrong to wish that she had lived to grow up in that family.

  8. Sweetie_Pi says:

So according to Baez et al. and their client’s sworn testimony George and Cindy Anthony are guilty of criminally negligent homicide in the death of Caylee. Hmmm. Who’s gonna file those charges? Sounds like another civil lawsuit George A. should bring against Baez and his client, his ex-daughter. Cindy OTOH got back at George for his “affair” by mouthing “I love you” to Casey b4 she got up and lied through her teeth. Now we know it was Cindy who taught Caylee to lie. Really, a nurse not knowing about chloroform! Seems mother and daughter should do a two-fer in Casey’s upcoming porn shows (her reality porn shows) I mean, if George is accused of “doing” his daughter, perhaps Cindy’s real problem is she felt left out. Sick people.

  9. Sweetie_Pi says:

I meant it was “Cindy who taught Casey to lie”, not poor Caylee.

We have kids dying abroad to protect Casey’s American way of life? Between Sharia and that sodded rotted, soul-dead, bought-off, feces-for-brains jury, there used to be a place called America.

Have read and re-read all the posts on here and feel as one with you all. I find myself having to control tears, anger, frustration, the whole gamut of emotions. I would like to write a letter of thanks to LE and the whole Prosecution team, could someone give me a possible address please. I am in the UK, have followed every single second of the case and like you all (well 99.99.5%) am so shocked, horrified, beyond disappointment that a murderer has been allowed to walk free. Something was dreadfully wrong with the Jury, they must have been watching a completely different trial to me and they certainly shirked their duty as citizens. God works in mysterious ways and I leave it to him to let this disgrace of a jury learn of his displeasure.
I only have one question please Blink – If the sentence for lying to LE ranges from 1 – 5 yrs could Judge Perry make it 5 yrs (after all as far as LE were concerned child was missing and Casey Anthony was doing everything in her power to prevent them from seriously looking for her. At least CA would then still need to be behind bars for a good few more years yet.
Do any of you seriously wonder if the Jury were ‘nobbled’?? There is so much money involved in this case that I just would not put anything past anyone and I still keep thinking of how confident Baez looked when the Jury came, not a bit nervous, just as if he already knew. I will keep coming back here for a while but I am so sorry for Blink she is Legend and I know she will bounce back and throw all her energies into being the voice of Justice for lost children everywhere.

    @ kathy

Well this jury couldn’t think outside the box & apparently rejected the new science or views & any discussion of it & that’s generally ‘one’ of the signs of someone that thinks conservatively their just comfortable where they are & that’s fine.. It’s ok to think like that except for ‘this jury’ you needed people that could step back & look at that big picture based upon circumstantial evidence & during jury selection they all indicated they could do that which we now know wasn’t so.. There were only bones left of this small child there was nothing to test really you had to use science, the pics, connect the dots & listen to what was said.. The jurors never even took another look at the evidence or asked to read back transcripts (which I found unusual) their minds were made up before they went back yesterday morning to deliberate they didn’t want to think outside that box they wanted to go back to their lifestyle.. That’s a traditional type of thinker cannot change their views & that’s fine just not for this jury.. I took issue with the judge rehabilitating these jurors during jury selection because I felt that was a bandage on the cut you couldn’t heal..

Sooner or later new science has to be accepted in a court room otherwise how does it become court tested proven science just like DNA is now.. I keep listening to that alternate juror speak & he pushes off the air testing & looking for the CSI effect he just couldn’t connect those dots just repeats words that he heard.. This juror was effected more by the way the players in this case acted in court then by evidence presented & that’s what he was supposed to be paying attention to.. Scott Peterson convicted of murdering his wife & child no manner or cause of death, no DNA & bodies found in the ocean jurors listened & connected those dots & guilty.. Different jury base..

I also have to ask how long did this jury take to read & fully understand those jury instructions which was a thick packet, most jurors send questions to the judge on it while deliberating.. None from this jury that’s a wow.. I wonder if you asked these jurors now about those printed instructions could they answer any questions on it.. They wanted to go home & they were ready to go when they walked into court yesterday dressed to go.. Mothers do kill their children & lie about it & Susan Smith comes to mind real quick Casey just changed the abductor’s description from 2 men to a nanny.. I ask again how can you find someone guilty of lying but not wonder what were they lying about or why? Think of it why would anyone lie to law enforcement about anything unless you were guilty of a crime & trying to cover it up.. Weren’t these jurors curious about that they convicted her of it ? In the jurors minds I guess they just had to find something so they picked lying over manslaughter an easy out, job done but no justice for Caylee.. They got out of the guilt phase which would mean another week away from their lifestyle & more decision making maybe more non traditional questions.. But the prosecutors defended their client Caylee Marie Anthony as best they could & I thank them for that.. AMOO

Retried? How would you do that? It’s not going to happen.

Can’t believe the hateful nasty comments I see on this site–but I’m not surprised as this kind of animosity was here from the get go.

The prosecutors can try and blame the change of venue, the delay–both which are common and legal–oh, and blaming Baez’ being on tv, LOL. That’s funny–I guess the 25,000 pages dumped for public consumption had nothing to do with it.

Blame the jury-you have called them stupid, liars, lazy and every thing else under the sun, there are accusations of jury tampering, tainting, and corruption…in fact some comments border on threatening (not just on this site)–one person here was inquiring where the Anthony’s were staying! Unbelievable!

I am just as shocked at the not guilty verdict as everyone else–but we have to accept that verdict even if you don’t agree with it.

Why isn’t anyone blaming the prosecution? IMO, they didn’t make their case–they didn’t connect the dots AND I think they overcharged, making this a DP/pre-med case was a mistake.

What will HLN do now–this case is their entire focus, ratings will certainly plummet! What about the media’s role–you think they do this for Caylee? Or, is it all about ratings? It’s the latter not the former.

Columbiares (Pam), Not sure whether to interpret the false information as a misdemeanor or felony status.

Just watched Ashton on Court tv for an hour. He was asked by Beth if Casey could make money off of this, sell her story or whatever, and he said yes she can but to remember that State of Florida could watch and have her pay back some defense costs and possibly prosecution costs too. Also, I am wondering if she can be fined for lying to police and sending them on this wild goosechase and the expenses occurred by police?? Also, don’t know if anyone heard but Tim Miller may possibly recoup his money losses from this case. Possibly the searchers also??? Not sure but I hope she can get in some financial trouble anyways????

They decided WAY b4 the 11 hours of “deliberation” how they were going to vote, and the 11 hours of “deliberation” was just to finalize in which order they would speak out, to whom and for how much money.
