    Y’all….

My heart tells me we need to give B some time. As you all always do, let’s step up and keep this blog running. We have each other for support.

I love you all so very much! The best of the best hangs here. Thank you for having me.

  2. JannyFay says:

Interesting to me that the jury found her guilty of lying to law enforcement. I mean really, they had to, they had it on tape. I maintain that in this day and age you almost need to have a video tape of the crime being committed to get a conviction. People want proof beyond ANY doubt.

  3. Jane says:

Wow, it’s as though it’s another OJ moment. This jury showed me again that the entire judicial system is broken.

  4. Jnpgh says:

What a disgrace! Casey did indeed get away with murder ….But she is a sociopath ….so this “success” will only feed her further to feel that she is teflon-coated for anything else she feels like doing.

The only thing that I can think is that the jury (in my mind – all of the village idiots within Pinellas COunty) – who didn’t even have the strength of their own convictions to face the press – may have thought that since Cindy, George, Roy Kronk, and Casey have all lied so much that no one could tell who was lying and when.

But for Bozo to talk about his worrying about Justice for Caylee and Casey – is an insult to the memory of a dead child. You got your client off …but she has more than enough pathology to get herself into trouble going forward.

We now shall see how the loving Anthony family re-bond after all the accusations that Casey made against her parents and brother. Good luck on that one.

I want to understand how this verdict was decided, and I think it is soooo chicken !@#$ that we do not get understand how the jury came to this decision….will we ever?

Blink your opinion would be greatly appreciated…

We may. For those who have not seen it, I recommend one watches “Runaway Jury”.

    @justice23

I swear, everything you have written, I have either said or e-mailed to my family and friends.

My prediction for the future: George and Cindy will sell the house. They can’t bear to see the pool or the playhouse in the back where they built a childs dream yard.

George will suffer with depression and withdraw from the family and live with heavy heart of the realization that his entire family threw him under the bus to protect the one who killed the only person on this earth that he loved, and probably loved him.

Cindy will drive herself mad by trying to kiss up to her daughter. She will want Casey to forgive her and will grovel and give her anything to make up for not being 100% supportive from the very beginning. Casey will laugh at her and demean her but Cindy will keep on taking it because that is what dysfunctional parents do.

Lee will move far away from this family and go into therapy for life to try and heal the pain from the dysfunction that he has known all along.

Casey of course will make millions off of her story. The lies she will produce will be even more bs than revealed in the trial and she will sleep her way to Hollywood and start off on Dancing with the Stars onto her own Reality show. She will charm her way to the top as most Hollywood sociopaths do. As she claims her innocence and victimization, if you look close enough, you will see her snicker ever so slightly right before she sheds a dramatic tear every time she thinks about her precious child.

And God, if you would be so kind, please curse each and every member of the jury with a severe near death case of diarrhea.

As for Judge Perry…I don’t know what to say…how could he represent justice and allow verdict to happen…I wonder how he feels now that it is over.

But to be very serious for just a moment…

God, I pray for peace and comfort at this time for all who fell in love with this sweet angel Caylee. We know she is with you and has a smile on her sweet face and that is the way we need to see her. I pray for peace and comfort to the Prosecution team, the LE and all the Prosecutions experts who devoted their talents, their experience, their knowledge and their time to Caylee. They are the hero’s of this story.

Seh- I agree. I felt very dirty following this case, watching Nancy Grace, etc. She jumps for joy and clicks her heels everytime a little child goes missing. She will continue to milk this case for all it’s worth. Riding her broomstick off into this sunset.

Blink- What are your opinions? First you were very confident there would be no trial, you said it several times, that Casey would take a deal. Now she is found Not Guilty… are you surprised??

  9. Fiona says:

Time to have the laws, that give killers “rights” during the trial, changed. More evidence to show the jury she indeed killed her child was kept out then allowed in the trial. Criminals are so protected how in the world can the truth ever come out.

I guess she will take up golf to find the real killer, on America’s golf courses like OJ.

I had hoped juries were so much smarter than the one in LA almost twenty years ago. Guess not.

    Thank you Blink and all

You know I heart u, but that perceived error is like a free pass to the next Casey Anthony.

Blink, would you do me a HUGE favor and change the title to “Jury finds Casey Anthony NOT guilty…..”. Because in my mind, just because THEY did, doesn’t mean it’s a fact that she’s “not guilty” or that I’ll ever believe that. I know it’s semantics, and the eyes of the law and all that, but still….

  16. erose says:

I had to come over here from the Kyron case and express to you all my thoughts on this case that you all have been so vigilant about for three years. I am so sorry for you, and so sorry for Caylee.

George and Cindy slipped out of the courtroom. They did not celebrate with Casey. In Casey’s world George is a molester, so is her brother, and Caylee drowned accidentally at her neglect or that of her father’s. She has to live with that story for the rest of her life.

Cindy’s attempt to spare her daughter the death penalty by saying she was on the computer, when she was at work, was IMO her final act of enabling her daughter. They are done. Casey killed her entire family.

Circumstantial cases will never rise to the sophisticated expectation of juries anymore, IMO. People get away with murder.

  17. nana2 says:

Odd that the jury found her guilty of lying to Law Enforcement but I guess they never wondered why she lied to Law Enforcement & what she lied about. Did they really listen to that Universal interview with LE ? Guilty people don’t lie to Law Enforcement she could have told them the truth at any time. What did this jury miss ? They never should have sequestered this jury they should have moved the trial the sequestration didn’t help especially for the jury that has a cruise on 7/7. Many of those jurors needed rehabilitation by the judge to serve & that was a mistake I think because they just didn’t want to be there. How sad for this child Caylee Marie..

  18. peggy says:

    Texas Grandfather-

Why is it the juries fault? What about the prosecution?

The jury obviously felt the state didn’t make their case, and I happen to agree, I have always maintained the state was wrong to go for pre-med, which is what they argued at trial. I asked the other day about the chloroform, which they talked a lot about in the trial and only briefly mentioned in CA…..they failed to connect the dots–which might be why they found her not guilty of child abuse.

    JMHO

    Peggy
Verdict was pretty darn fast–no need to deliberate b/c apparently they were all in agreement from the get go.

  19. osu says:

I agree with tarheel, I will never purchase anything that this family puts out regarding this, not a magazine if they interview her, not a newspaper, never a book or will I watch a movie. I can’t understand why I feel so badly about this.
I look forward to your wisdom Blink. Please put our minds at ease. I thought the most that would happen was a hung jury. But for all 12 to agree on Not Guilty?? Not even child abuse or whatever the lesser charge? Not even manslaughter?
Do you believe they will now go after Cindy for lying on the witness stand about the computer search? My husband said if so, Cindy may wind up doing more time than Casey. There has to be SOME sort of justice, someone in this family needs to pay. What about Lee and George, what about the abuse? Do they all go back and fix their family? I think Cindy will take her in and George will leave.

Casey will has been convicted by the public, she does not have a chance…..she will get yelled at, turned away….avoided by people and more…for the rest of her life. Hopefully her family turns aways too…

    With all respect Liam …

would you explain, is this your theory :

” ’34-month Caylee Marie went into the garage @ Hopespring Dr,
reached up to the highest shelf & remove the white laundry bag
took that laundry bag & put it into a double bagging of black garbage bags
than ripped three 6~8 inch duct tape strips off the roll

Caylee Marie, carried the 3-bags & 3-strips of duct tape down the street to the swamp
she found the spot by the down tree to her liking
at which time she jumped into the interior of the the 3-bags
once snuggly in the bags she applied the 3-strips of duct tape
    and waited to die ??? ‘ ”

With all respect, that is how a young toddler died & ended up in a swamp ??

That this was some big game of hide ‘n seek ??
    That Caylee’s death was Caylee’s fault ??
No harm ?? No foul ??

AMHO — there was no accident to the death of Caylee Marie.
AMHO — there was no accident to the disposal of Caylee Marie.

I think the jury reached the correct verdict on all the charges.
Casey Anthony will have to live with the fact that the majority of people think she is guilty along with the fact that Caylee is gone forever.

She lied to LE, that is what was proven, absolutely nothing else.

The death of Caylee Anthony could have been an accident.

Wonder if George and Cindy are packing up and moving out as we speak….and NOT giving Casey their forwarding address.

I know that’s what I would do if I were them.

    I am heartbroken.

  25. Kim says:

Unfortunately, the money Casey will make off of the death of her daughter is not entirely up to us. Movies are made and books are written with payment made in advance, not based on who or how many watch or read it. Granted, not watching or reading can lessen the amount of money she might make based on the contract she signs but she’ll still get quite a bit.
The ultimate situation would be similar to the OJ case where she is found guilty through some kind of civil suit and moneies made are directed to pay off the guilty result of that case.
Blink, are you aware of any kind of civil case that could be raised against Casey and who might have the rights to do that? Of course her parents won’t be doing it but I can’t think of who else would have the grounds to do it.

  26. OperaRach says:

I am really disappointed in this verdict. I can’t believe that they didn’t find her of at least minimally guilty of manslaughter.

That being said- I don’t think it is really fair to blame the jury. They didn’t pick the evidence. I don’t know how they came to this conclusion – I really don’t. But, we had the benefit of legal analysis and things that the jury did not hear (especially from Blink who does a phenomenal job). So much goes into weighing the decision for a jury. I don’t think it is fair to assume they just wanted to get out of there. They served, they did their job. If this situation had been reversed I doubt that we (who wanted Casey convicted) would be claiming the jury jumped the gun.

Personally I think it was a mistake to go for the death penalty. It is a lot to ask people to put someone to death. And, I’d want to make damn sure I wasn’t wrong about that. Intended or not it puts an additional pressure on the jury.

I don’t know how they reached their decision but I’m actually glad they aren’t going on TV. I’ve had enough for today. Casey disgusts me.. Baez disgusts me. I’m sorry that justice was not had for Caylee today. But, really, would justice have ever been done? Don’t get me wrong, I would much rather Casey sit in jail and rot but would that make up for killing your child and throwing her in a swamp? Never. Not even being put to death would make up for that. My hope is that society in general punishes her – alienates her. She’ll meet her justice – perhaps just not a worldly one.

You still deserve your momma doll Blink.

Perhaps little Caylee from the otherside decided that her mother needed only to spend 3 years in prison, one for each of the stars… perhaps she felt the justice she most deserved, was to release her mother and her grandparents and her Uncle back into one anothers arms- to live out their time together knowing what they’ve done.

They still must live with the lies and the real truth of what happened -

Well. It’s over. Caylee, you beautiful innocent child, you brought together many, many, people that prayed and hoped and blogged and read and watched and laid awake at night hoping your killer would be brought to justice. Hearing this verdict today made me realize that as much as I wanted to see Casey rot in prison (or worse,) this wasn’t about Casey, it was about You. And you have been in God’s hands with all the other angels for nearly three years now. Casey Anthony will go down in infamy in history, I truly don’t believe she will run back home and make a million dollars and die happy. She has created her own prison, and she has to live with what she’s done. That is a disturbing punishment indeed. And now I’m done. I’m signing off, and I’m going to read a book. Living my life around the gruesome details of this case for three years has been incredibly bad for my soul. Caylee- I’ll see you in heaven. I want to know what the jurors think a few days from now when they learn all the things the rest of us do. I am angry and disappointed by the verdict, but I truly believe it’s only a matter of time until Casey is in another giant mess. As it has been said before, Caylee is in a much better place. Her family now has to live with the fact that they not only neglected her in life, but refused to demand justice for her death. Caylee will be remembered and loved by complete strangers.

  45. dolce says:

Baez was such a poor attorney – but he won?! The state’s attorneys were FANTASTIC! and they lost?

If it was an accident – how did the baby get herself in the swampy brush with duct tape on her mouth? That’s not an accident! No one does that to a child unless it was intentional. . . . how difficult is that to comprehend? Seems very simple and straight-forward.

Yes, we all know the evidence was all circumstancial – but it certainly seemed to point in a direct line to the mother who partied while her baby was missing. It didn’t point to anyone else. What mother does that?

I’m so sad and disappointed in my fellow humans on the jury – I hope it’s not because they wanted to get back to their lives quickly and they really didn’t want to take the responsibility that Baez tried to scare them with. Ugh – he was so terrible – did they feel sorry for ICA? and that’s why they let her off the hook – because she had an incompetent attorney?

    I’ll never understand this result . . .

  46. JenforCaylee says:

Does anyone think that any of the jurors will read up on all of the discovery that they weren’t privy to in the case and regret their decision?

I just don’t understand how they could see what Casey did in the 31 days after Caylee went missing and not form any opinion of guilt.

George had better move to an island. The women in his life are nutjobs.

RIP sweet Caylee. One day justice will happen. Your memory will never be forgotten.

    Blink, what happens now?

  47. connie says:

Erose- I totally agree Casey has killed all of her family in way or another.

  48. MsEnscene says:

Cheney Mason is not telling where Casey will go if she is released on Thurdsay as he tells Jean Casarez. The only thing he will say is that Casey will not go home to her parents.

Maybe she can stay with him for a bit. He considers her “like a granddaughter.”

The jurors would have had to stay longer if they had convicted her of #1. A jury sequestered from everything and their families. It was easier to covict her on things for which they would not have to put in any more time, maybe? Although, they could have convicted her on the #3 charge and not incurred any more jury time, right?

So did the prosecution put on too many scientific witnesss and not enough of those giving testimony to Casey’s personality and lifestyle?
So many of what I thought were important witnesses to “motivation” for this crime were not called because they had too much baggage. But look at the baggage Cindy and George had. And they were two of the state’s backbone witnesses.

    Dangerous ones, I would admit.

What a complete frustrating event. I feel empty. Let your victim rot for a while and you can muder and walk away to a reality show!

My first thought was “and the Anthony’s thought life at their house and on their lawn was tough BEFORE?” I know it is horrible, but OJ did in the end get his just desserts (partly because he continued the same criminal lifestyle) but I do not think that Casey will even get the chance to. This is so sickening that there are probably folks across the country driving to Florida right now with loaded weapons. Most of them Real Mothers. Who don’t do chloroform searches 84 times and have drugged looking babies and pick up the baby when she’s crying instead of snapping a photo. She had better get plastic surgery- and that is if she even makes it out of the jail.
