Blink, are you suggesting there are vigilantes involved? Someone purposely got themself on the jury to serve another kind of justice?
If something sinsiter has taken place, we ALL deserve an explanation. No way that jury did not see anything circumstantial that linked Casey to Caylee’s death. NO WAY! Not even 1 single mind?????? I know I’m not legal saavy like many at BOC…but I know when my gut is fiercely telling me something does not add up!
If this is about 1 juror who NEEDED quick resolve to go on a cruise or whatever…
I can’t walk away without answers and I know no one else can either.
What just happened today?
@ We may. For those who have not seen it, I recommend one watches “Runaway Jury”.

Excellent movie & saw it several times.. I can see that happening here perhaps using the jury foreman this time..
Well GA & CA will have a BIG decision now … do that value their marriage over the ICA ??
Do they continue their marriage in the home they had with Caylee & ICA ??
Do they continue to live in a home that has “become a tourist site” ??
Do they continue to live down from the “disposal site of their beloved grand-daughter remains” ??
–OR–
Do GA & CA sell & move away from the house that has so much sadness associated with it ??
Do they move on as a married couple w/ICA as a daughter-or- as 2-separate individuals w/ICA as a daughter ??
Where do the married couple Anthony’s go from here ???
Questions ….
AJMHO
To add: please, be merciful, Judge Perry, and do not let this girl walk at this time. Sentence her for only a year, if you please, for the lying to LE crimes, but keep her out of the public eye for a while. I’m begging.

To the 12 jurors of Casey Anthony – you believe truly that it is alright for a mother, THE primary caregiver, to go out partying, shopping, living la bella vida for 31 days while your TWO YR OLD child is missing, and that’s NOT child abuse??? REALLY??? I hope none of you are parents or grandparents!!!
——————————————
I truly believe this was a case of “Rules for “me” … and rules for “everybody else”. The more I think about it, we kept hearing from the media in court about jurors reactions, etc and how they appeared to “be hard to read” and “serious about their jobs.” I don’t believe the last part at all. I don’t believe after this verdict that this case was EVER serious to them because it wasn’t ABOUT them. I don’t believe this jury honestly took their “duty” seriously, they just pretended to. One of them had a planned holiday in London July 7th. Another had big plans cancelled because of jury duty (and I’m sure wasn’t happy about it).
I now believe more and more this verdict was about annoyance that they were ever sequestered for 6 wks to begin with. They stuck it to the prosecution because they just didn’t ever want to be there and they knew it from the beginning. Anything they said on the stand during jury selection was white noise.
I think they had in their heads fairly early they were going to get outta there as quickly as possible because that’s all they were truly concerned with. I would even buy that at some point there was some agreement among all of them fairly early that none of them would “drag this out” even if it meant actual justice so they could all just get on with things. It’s summer vacation after all and many were either retired, out of work, off from school, etc. Nothing else to get in the way of their fun … except maybe 6 wks of sequestration for a trial.
Look at Juror #11 (foreman I believe) who Beth Karas said seemed to sit through most of trial with his arms crossed, difficult to read (or rather already had his mind made up about what was going to happen)? Others looked bored and annoyed. Juror #4 (one who can’t judge) knodded her head when comments were made about “an accident”. Okay so, WTF? That STILL would’ve gone to at least child abuse on some level considering … so what’s with the menial “lying to LE” and that was it????? Time factor. I am convinced those jurors did NOT truly want to be there and took it out on the State. Put another way, “I’ll show you … sequester me for 6 wks when I don’t wanna be here? Fine. But you won’t like it.” Just another way to get one over on the authorities. Didn’t several jurors have past trouble with the law and others had family who had? Sympathy. Trouble with authority. Birds of a feather. What else could it rationally be given everything we know of this case not to mention the more we learn (and think about) in relation to the juror details?
It’s simply despicable. There was no justice here. I’m even surprised now they admitted she lied to LE but I bet they knew anything more than that meant they wouldn’t be leaving Orlando before Thurs. Wonder how they’d feel about that if it was THEIR child or grand child found in that swamp? Make it personal … then the viewpoints always change. Too bad “rules for me and rules for everybody else” got in the way here because those jurors have no idea what losing a child is actually like. They would’ve taken their job seriously if it would’ve been someone in THEIR family. Take that one to the bank.
Not guilty doesn’t always mean innocent is what I’ve heard.
This is my first time posting here on BOC but I never go a day without reading all of your intelligent and insightful comments. I too have followed this case from the beginning. The shock and awe I feel from this “verdict” cannot be put into words. The “injustice” that occured today is reprehensible and I find little solace in the fact that one day Ms. Anthony will be judged. It should have been today. I also find the defense team’s drinking champagne and toasting little Caylee’s death to be abhorent! I too hope they all have a reserved seat in hell! All we can hope is that Casey will one day meet that “special someone” i.e. a Joran Vandersloot that can “Win her over with Cholorform” and triple bag her remains and leave them in a swamp to rot. Thanks to all of you who post here! You are all wonderful, passionate individuals.

Blink I am proud of all the effort and sleepless nights you spent in trying to find justice for our mistreated little angle Caylee.
This jury, in my opinion, was not smart enough to understand the technical information presented by the prosecution. It went totally over their collective heads. What they didn’t understand, they dismissed as unimportant.
Are we to the point in our society where people who take the life of others are able to avoid punishment by being successful in not allowing any person to observe their activities? IDK.
It is too early to determine if anything could be done by the State on an appeal. When one thinks of the amount of money consumed by the trial, it may not make economic sense to appeal the decision.
What we have seen is O.J. two. Going out of the county to get jurors may have been a major mistake.
Almighty God, we thank you for having a place for Caylee where there is no pain, no sorrow, no weeping, no death. We praise you for receiving her into your warm embrace filled with love and peace.
On this day Father, we wanted peace and justice on earth for Caylee. Yet for reasons we will never understand during this journey here, it was not to be. We rest in the assurance of knowing your ways are not our ways, your thoughts are not our thoughts, and your time is not our time. In the deep places of our spirits we know that is good. We know too you are a just God and vengence belongs solely to you — that too is good. I just humbly ask you to cause all whose faith and love is shaken this day to remember we must continue to stand for what is right and true, no matter the pain and hurt it may cause. For alas, there will be another innocent who will need voices of the righteous in order to be heard. Heal our souls so that once again we will rise to shout for justice from the roof tops. Again Lord, we thank you for receiving Caylee to her eternal loving home and we thank you for sharing her with each of us here. Amen and Amen.
As hard as a time as I having today, I thank you for this, and ask that readers say this aloud or in their hearts.

Im sure George and Cindys life was a lot better without Casey around. I will bet you they dont let her back in their house.

Liam, with all due respect…how does a little girl end up with duct tape over her mouth and nose? How can that possibly be an accident?
Mosaic, respectfully, there was no evidence presented that proved Casey Anthony put duct tape over Caylee`s mouth and nose, at any time. There was no evidence to prove that the duct tape was the cause of death.
How the duct tape ended up where it did and what the circumstances were is unknown.
The actions of Casey Anthony makes it virtually impossible for anyone to believe she is completely innocent in the death of her daughter, she has to live with this for the rest of her life.
Jose Baez has been riduculed and the butt of many jokes but I have said before, he is endearing and raised enough reasonable doubt, coupled with the prosecutions failure to prove the charges.
The jury reached the correct verdict on the evidence presented.
Nobody can with certainty can call Casey Anthony a murderer.
I am so incredibly sad. I pray that someday, justice will be served… somehow. Love to all Blinksters and lovers of Justice.
And, justice for KYRON, such a sweet little boy.
What happened to the jury’s order of news media they were going to speak to?

Maybe shes pregnant by Baez. That would be poetic justice
So it’s official. High profile criminal lawyers can get you off with murder.
I’ve seen it too often. What goes around, comes around.. Casey may be free, but she probably has no clue how many people in this world hate that liar. She’ll have no life outside of jail.
Sister,
Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for finding the perfect words.
Proverbs 4:23
Guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
@ Liam
Scott Peterson was convicted of the murder of his wife Laci & their unborn child without a manner & cause of death due to the extreme decomposition & where the bodies were found (the ocean). Only known factor was that it was a homicide. That jury made the correct decision in that case.
I’m sorry, Liam…did you just say Jose Baez is endearing?
I’m done.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful prayer.
Your words hit the mark and are very comforting.
PS…
CAYLEE WAS ENDEARING!!!!!! As for Baez, well, you reap what you sow! He deserves to be the butt of all jokes.
I like to call it Twilight Zone justice.
Juror #14 (alternate) has spoken.
The State did not prove their case.
Thought George was hiding something.
Thought Casey was a good mother.
No motive was shown.
Window to # 1-12.
Makes NO sense to me.
I feel sick and devastated by this. What is wrong with this world that Casey Anthony, an obvious child killer, sociopath and Pathological liar defended by an absolute moron x 2 can not only walk free but now make millions for murdering her child? This shakes my faith and leaves me hollow and confused.

——
Jurors #1-#12 all declined to speak to the media or answer any questions.
Alternate juror #14 did speak.
Thought no motive, George hiding something, Casey Anthony a good mother.
Huh?? Baffles me.
Blink..
I just want to say my heart is with you now. I’m sure none of us can imagine just how you feel. “Hard time” i’m sure is an understatement. I believe Ragdoll is correct in saying that you need time. This is tough to swallow. Please take time. Please find peace. Please hold on tightly to Mama Doll.
WE love you Blink.
Robbie
Love you back and thank you for the kind words.
I think there are several posts that articulate today better than I. I am mush.

Casey will be released, time served, Thursday. She’ll need body guards. I bet her and her crappy lies of a family are planning a big vacation trip…..
Boycott the Anthony family, dont buy any books or magazine’s that pay them.
Fox was just showing Cindy giving a tour of Casey’s room, for when she comes home. Sick!! I’m so sick these people walk our earth.
It has been a very long time since i’ve commented here but today we come full circle. Today we will reconsider the meaning of “miscarriage of justice”. So long i have followed this case, as many of you here have. So many of us came together to understand a person so devious and wonder why she would do such a thing. Today i feel empty, almost lost…there is no sollace from the emptyness…did Caylee get Justice? or is it Just Us for Caylee? I took a long hard look at everything i’ve done thus far, in respects to commenting, and i honestly have saved every comment (starting with Blink) and i have amassed 47 pages, not counting paragraphs or mere sentences but most of my “long thought out” pieces i’ve saved. Amidst all my frustration my final (at least at this time) entry is this:
What is Reasonable Doubt? Is it to tell a story in which there is no way to dispute what is being told? A recent search offered me this: “The level of certainty a juror must have to find a defendant guilty of a crime. A real doubt, based upon reason and common sense after careful and impartial consideration of all the evidence, or lack of evidence, in a case”.[http://www.lectlaw.com/def2/q016.htm].
I would venture to say that my definition is not too far off from how it’s defined on the internet? With the recent verdict it makes one question themselves on what they really know about law. Should the juror’s be “damned” because they did not choose a verdict in which we had predicated since day 1, Guilty?
Would it change your mind if you were to find out just a week prior too what this case was about and although you had heard of “something” you really didn’t have an opinion? Would it be fair to surmise that what the jury saw and took into account was exactly how the Defense tried to convey the excuse? We know there was no accident. But did the Prosecution offer up enough evidence to support this to these Jurors who, supposedly, had no idea who this person was? We must remember that in the court of law we are innocent until proven guilty not vice-versa. I agree that a miscarriage of justice was done but that is because I know what I know as well as YOU know what YOU know but the Juror’s obviously, and painfully, didn’t. I will not bow my head to this person nor will I show anything but cordial respect for the Defense (luckily I live on the other side of the country so there is more of a possibility I get stung by a jelly fish here in my land locked state) as I believe their tactics were shameful if not bordering on inadequate.
We will all recall when we were first made aware of the lies. We will all remember what brought us to these “blog sites”…because something was just not right!! There is still nothing right about this and I fear that we may never, ever know what happened. The “made for T.V movie” will cast KC in favorable light and not what we know and what we can gather. She is a horrible, lying, conniving, narcissistic, maniacal person I’ve come across and or read about in a long time.
Although many of you will state that eventually she will be in front of the ultimate judge and although I am at odds with this scenario can we agree that “what comes around goes around”? Remember Caylee’s shirt, Big Trouble Comes in Small Packages…this could be viewed as an Omen of sorts if you choose to believe?
As addressed so eloquently in the up-thread comment we should all remember Caylee and collectively we will all agree, whether you believe or not, that this child was a blessing and nothing her mother can do will ever excuse her actions. She is of a long list of perps that have gotten away with murder…
There is another selfish sociopathic woman who is month about to walk free in Italy. Hm… If the prosecution wouldn’t have demand DP i think the verdict would have been: guilty. ( i respect prosecution they did a very very good job )
Csey’s book: how to fool a jury and Lie successfully in 10 chapters
or: The Lie – my life before and after the lie
i only hope one thing: that she never ever makes only one dollar with Caylee’s Life Story
Runaway Jury – Gene Hackman = Cheney Mason
My take away is the prosecution may have made the following strategic mistake.
Instead of emphasizing the premeditation (chloroform searches) and the cold calculated desire to kill her child for a new found freedom, perhaps they should have chosen a more plausible (or different) motive.
Namely, a crime of passion to punish her mother due to a lingering enraged behavior following the major argument (which included attempted choking) within close proximity of the intentional killing. It was perhaps easier to show that this act was the result of rage rather than planning, or premeditation, back in March ’08.
Some have asked in recent days why the prosecutors did not make more of this horrific argument between mom and daughter? Well, with the benefit of hindsight I am now convinced this is a damn good point.
Now I’m wondering….really? The jurors knew nothing about this case? Maybe the liar had a jury of her peers – 12 liars. Something stinks.
I always wonder when things like this happens if money was passed around.I predict Casey will continue to destroy lives.I still think
she has her eyes on Baez. She will wreck his family life.Next
George Anthony . . . was it all a ruse with you? Were you part of the Defense strategy after all?
@Sammy 7/5. 443. Video in closing of CMA playing with Caylee backfired imo.
I brought this up last night on the last thread. If the porsecution would have brought up the argument and the choking of casey by her mother on the 15th you would have had the motive. If the prosecution skirted around that then maybe that was a mistake. An alternate juror is saying the prosecution did not prove motive. The prosecution could have tried to get George in a lie about the last time he saw her. He went throught the wringer in every other way. The fight between Cindy and Casey should have been brought to light. No instead we here from Cindy about the special moment they has viewing the great grandfathers videl at Mt Dora.
Well Casey has gotten everything she has always wanted, a life without a child and the breaking of her parents marriage. George knows that he did not experience Caylee drowning, and now the jury has turned on him to. George may want to be put on suicide watch. I am worried for him. His life is ruined in every way possible.
The jury believed his lie of a daughter. The world remains as it was for George. Thanks to Jose George has been painted in a terrible way/
I would love to know Judge Perry thoughts. Will that happen?
The pitt of my stomach hurts when I see that girl celebrating with her new family in court.
I agree with Bear “someone take the BITCH out”!!!
I believe the jury knew as of closing arguments they would return a not guilty verdict. They were dressed in their “Sunday Best” for interviews, that is until they saw the public outrage. Now of course they are in hiding.
Great , now Geraldo is interviewing Baez and Mason—since He was the only one that (BOO HOO) Mason felt treated them right. It is really funny Mason and Baez actually think they are the quintessential “Death Qualified” defense team. Surely they must know how Stupid that jury was, since they fought to place them. The jury was clearly a negative for the prosecution, I think they saw the state as elitist. That is the only way a jury in a death penalty case deliberates 10 hours to a Not guilty verdict–just enough time to fill out the paperwork, same as OJ.
Little does anyone know but Cindy and George left early to meet up with Lee and fly out of the country. They are happy to give Casey the house , AS LONG AS SHE CAN’T FIND THEM. The neighbors are planning a really “hot” welcome home for Casey. Life has a way of equalizing .
Juror #14 … Casey was a good mother? When her daughter was missing she did nothing to find her, and lied about where she left Caylee?? excuse me? a good mother? This is dreadful.

Blink, if jury misconduct or tampering is found once a non-guilty verdict is rendered, can a mistrial be proclaimed or is too late?
I am so heartbroken and STUNNED. Hopefully she will serve time for the tax evasion
When the Prosecution rested, I thought at that time, it was premature. Where was all the evidence we’ve been seeing for 3 years that the jury didn’t? I expected this.
Sister what a beautiful Prayer:))Thank you
Loved that prayer Sister, and I read and I said it, Blink. We live in a time when right is wrong and bad is good. We can’t afford to be faint hearted, or there will be no one to protect the meekest of us. It’s so good to come here and find other people who love justice and truth. I am thankful that I found this place. All of you give me a better view of this world. There are still good people out there.
An added note: I predict Casey will have to move in with Jose. Who else wants her?
Here comes the movie and book “deals”. Makes me ill.
I just know she is already dreaming of her own made for tv movie, with her playing herself of course. She could play duel roles… herself/Zanny the Nanny….it is all unreal. I am just so sickened by this.
i believe the jury was angry and tired of being sequestered. they missed two holidays during this trial. many said during voire dire that they had trips and events planned and the judge assured them they would not miss them as he would keep the trial to a tight schedule. also, i do not believe that the jury had the collective intelligence to grasp the techinical information and make a reasonable decision. the fact that the jury ran from the courthouse like scalded dogs is indicative, to me, that they KNOW they did not do their duty and that caylee did not get justice. the jurors just wanted to “get the hell out of there”.
i am sad and sick at heart for caylee. the only hope i have is that casey will act just like o.j. and continue to be a sociopathic misfit. she will commit additional indiscretions and crimes and eventually serve time. the only good news i have heard today is that cheney mason said casey will not return to her parents house, she will go to an “undisclosed location”. i HOPE that means her parents are through with her and that they realize, finally, that their daughter murdered caylee.

“What we have seen is O.J. two. Going out of the county to get jurors may have been a major mistake.”
ATG, Lamar sort of the said the same thing. He alluded to attorneys hitting the media, time delays and a jury to be sought elsewhere.
He also said “Caylee’s homicide” when he talked about the investigation.
His address to the media was ripe with read between the lines messages, IMO.
STATE”S PRESS CONFERENCE
http://www.wftv.com/video/28453839/index.html
Rosalie Bolin is attending the private “victory party” that is taking place at a bar across the street from the courthouse.
Maybe she and Casey can be room-mates??
I have to disagree…in our “famous for being famous” society, Casey might just be the toast of the country – talk shows, her inevitable “Beautiful Life” book, lectures about how important it is to find the best lawyer, how hard it is to do time in jail, how to survive being molested by daddy and brother…you get my drift…More importantly, it’s how we as a society treat her. Don’t buy the magazines, don’t watch the tv shows, don’t buy her book (s), don’t give her one more ounce of your time…I don’t intend to…she’s dead to me.
Wonder if Mrs. Baez will welcome little Casey into her home? Something tells me Ma and Pa might not sleep too good with their baby girl living with them.
Caylee is in and has been in God’s hands…and justice will be served in this life or the next.
