On Quitting Casey: The New C Word Is the New Quality Control

Orlando, FL- I thought my chapped skin was over.

Read, shower, repeat.

Write, ignore call from editor, shower, repeat.

The OCD I developed during the case of the murder of Caylee Anthony by her TotMom, The C word, continues.

Anger over the death of an innocent child is understandable, fierce loathing when the accused is her Mother, is justified.

What is not, is the minutes of our day one devotes to the C word.

Angst is power, nobody will argue that.  What is decidedly MOST powerful, is quitting Casey.

Images of fake checks with non-existant banks and non-existant companies are hitting the web to act as a barometer of the public’s interest and acceptance.

The porn industry rescinded an offer to C word, if that does not say it all, I don’t know what does.  Let’s say they tend to be a less judgemental crowd on occasion.

I am calling you out.  I am calling me out.

Quit caring.  Quit Casey = Cashless Cow

If you want to be a color form in this girls chloroform play set,  I cannot stop you.

What I can tell you, is that these payday wannabees have been Trumped.

Literally.

Between The Donalds’ hair being real and him getting a look up President Obama’s unmentionables bearing a birth certificate on a whim, who do these ilk think are going to give them “equal time”?

IT IS WORKING. REPEAT. IT IS WORKING.  WE ARE WINNING.

Even Rupert Murdoch says “If a single person in my US offices so much as says that *%?#/’s name out loud it will make Rebekah Brooks stay in the big house look like a debutant cotillion, whatever that is.”

Here’s what happened:This is the most notorious and nationally covered case since The O word, and this felon and her counsel can’t get a legitimate network meeting.

Yep. The Moral leprosy crew are singing for supper.  Industry insiders will tell you that the rumor mill has produced a steady call of public outrcy at the mere notion their firms would consider any deals with Cword or her defense team, and the existing artists threatening to walk if they do.

Simply put, it is tantamount to scheduling a tsunami in your lobby.  Not even Don Draper could pull that off.

Ms. Folmer, reached from her latest promotion to washroom hand towel service  had this to say:

Due to my journalistic integrity and because nobody told me we could not cancel a check after a verdict, I was wondering if I could fill a role in Jackass4 or Roller ball 10.   I look forward to meeting the jury members, your among friends.

Late this morning, calls to THE BAEZ LAW FIRM for comment have not been returned.

A woman answering the phone at Jose Baez’s office who declined to be identified,  told Blink,  Editor In Chief of www.blinkoncrime.com:

Good Luck getting a call back, he has been sitting in his office for two days hitting the redial button to the News of The World Offices trying to get a live person on the phone.   He is convinced he can swing a deal with somebody over there. Any Suggestions?

Sure,  I answered, tell him to hit the O button,  and just keep holding, they have a very busy switchboard.

I cannot believe how media has Handled this offering false coverage with no grounds. There are too many missing ppl that need air time.
Baez is so desperate! I hope it all blows up I’n his face. Sick man!
Casey should be in prison for murder. What about Caylee!

  5. Kleat says:

StarM, we should be heartened by the WESH response to ‘explain’ only, that some lawyer called them trying to get a bidding war going for Friggin C-word with local Orlando media– WESH reported on the ‘contact’, and what did all the other media sources do? Not a friggin’ c-word about it. It’s a good day!!

(like the depersonalization of ‘the c word’– stands for ‘commodity’ too, good coining Blink).

This attempt by lawyer named Weaver, to ‘offer’ to negotiate a sale to highest bidder, fell flat on it’s face, no matter who was behind it, and we know who could be desperate enough after his button pushing finger has had enough, to try a stunt like this.

    It IS working, isn’t it!

You always know how to make people feel better. You are right, they are likely in a state of shock at the lack of $ coming their way. I cant help admit I would enjoy the webcam associated with the O number, but alas, it is in my fantasy world only.
The ‘C’ word, soon to be along side the ‘F’ word in urban dictionaries near you.

Lol, I think I have learned through this experience that sometimes if I cannot feel better about something, it is ok if the best I can do is to feel different.

Today I feel different, and I hope if anyone else that is having difficulty can get there, they might “try that on.”

This is not to say if I find out Cword or her clown posse gets big paper (urban dictionary, lol) from some “means” that I will not find my rabid dog suit.

  8. mpress says:

While it is good advice to stop feeding the beast(s), I think it is probably not a bad idea to keep up the campaign to the media – to let them know that any book, film, or TV interview that is being contemplated will cost them dearly. Some people may be counting on a short attention span to try to arrange something a little later down the line . . . I would hope we could keep on top of this aspect of it all and continue to ensure that none of them profit from the death of this beautiful young child.

Agreed, but how we go about that matters.

One of the ways both companies and agencies measure public interest is through some fairly advanced amalgorithms. At a high level, those metrics are quantified, and are used to entice ad spend and target marketing. One of those tools is really “bots” assessing and calculating how and where and how often the Cword et al appears and in which markets, etc.

So, for that reason alone, the Cword replacement is an effective tool.

    Thank you Blink !!
Your new piece today, combined with the reply below from you yesterday in the previous article – have eased my weary mind.

I know you have access to the insider info about the media attention (or should I say the LACK OF media attention) — and I’m so, so happy that any supposed media buzz or “bidding war” is all just a PR ruse being orchestrated by a VERY desperate Baez.

I can just picture a sweaty Baez in his office – his finger on his phone frantically trying to find ANYONE who wants to spend a dime on anything baby killer might say.
Knowing that companies big and small are letting the networks know that they do not want to spend their advertisement money’s on anything Anthony related is wonderful.

    People will NOT FORGET CAYLEE.
I’m so happy that companies realize this and are telling the networks not to even think about going there with their money.

Baez is so desperate by now – b/c his client is poison and no one wants their name associated with anything related to any of them.
Baez wasn’t counting on this verdict from the jury and he is royally screwed.
He thought she’d be found guilty of at least one of the lessor charges and be residing at Lowell for 10-20 years.
That was the only way he was gonna make any money off this.
He was hoping to go to the media circuit with the “heroic Hispanic attorney saves the life of Casey Anthony” by getting her off on the 1st degree charge.
He wasn’t thinking the 12 brainless wonders would let her go free – and now he’s got a insurmountable obstacle on his hands.
He is now stuck with Casey Anthony – and that’s going nowhere!!

    LOL LOL
This defense team is Todd Blacking , I mean Gil Caboting the media and they are not buying it.

You can fake a bidding war all you want you gavones, we on the inside, specifically those with redbook access whose clients are calling and saying, I want to revise my adspend if there is any CHANCE y’all will feature Casey Anthony..

NOBODY wants to be the next abc, cause next time, as I stated early, we are going Bekah and the Murdoch inquires on your asses..

    Blink out.

Well I think he may have given that a minute and called Austa Nicole Weaver-Hansen , Esquire
after WESH outed her. She’s an agent with a JD, and she was going to offer to sell the whereabouts of a woman whose own attorneys are on record saying they had concerns for her safety and that she is UNSTABLE.

Let me tell you there is only ONE person who would have standing to issue that offer as her client-
Jose Baez. Anyone else would be subject to liability out the wazoo, as she would, unless she was smart enough to get a waiver. O, and she is either in CA or FL, duh.

lol, I am moving to Fla and becoming a process server, seriously.

Kleat- add another one to the pile.

This makes me happy…I will GLADLY refer to “her” as The C-Word from now on….

I posted a note on THM yesterday that was about moving on…but not for the same reasons. I find I get SO consumed with this horrible case and even more horrid C-Word and her actions. So I wanted to say Goodbye to Caylee. I told her that she will be missed by more people than she could imagine….and in the fall, I will plant a beautiful yellow rosebush and name it Caylee…and when it blooms I will be reminded of the beauty that was Caylee. Gone, but definitely NOT forgotten … I want to believe that surely Caylee is sharing stardust with her daddy now.

I think we absolutely need to qc the Cword, but I personally feel that through Caylee’s Law, we can have a positive direction to restore her legacy, and unite to protect our children.

The less I see/hear/read about the C-word, the better!! I just want to work on legislation to protect our children, like Caylee’s Law and tougher sentences for pedophiles, etc….

I would NOT be surprised if a scandal erupts between attorney and client.

Bravo Blink! I stopped watching anything that had to do with the “C-word” right after the verdict was read. I was bombarded with anti-C-word pages and Boycott anything that had to do with the C-word on Facebook within hours of the verdict. It was real easy for me to eliminate the C-word from my everyday routine.
Almost everything I have heard post verdict has come from BOC and the links kindly posted by all the other blinkers out there – thank you all kindly.

My only request is that we all remember precious Caylee – this really was all about her from the beginning. Her birthday is coming in just a little over 2 weeks from today. I plan on lighting a candle in memory of Caylee, and wearing something purple 8/9/2011. Wouldn’t it be great if the next big story on the news was all about the sea of purple wearing Caylee supporters spotted on 8/9/2011??

Let’s all focus on getting Caylee’s Law passed in every state – it’s the least we can all do.

Bill O(sorry, i like him sometimes) had geraldo on last night – very funny, he asked ger if he was getting the interview and he said a big maybe… Bill asked if he could be there – and asked him if he thought he should be so connected to this def. , if he really thinks that is a good idea? 36. Kleat says:

Blink, now how’d that happen!! Another one hits the pile! I’m double-checking the url…. hehe…. triple even maybe!

There’s something more though, to all this. Something bigger and far more important that we need to realize, and it has something to do with the failure to hold a mother responsible, failure to understand the psychopathic/sociopathic/narcissistic (whatever in whatever combo or by whatever name) behaviours. It’s critical because understanding is the only chance in preventing, and if not preventing, in recognizing after the fact.

Nothing that happened in this case.

But we have Terri Horman, like the c-word, who is left with her ‘wonderful motherhood in appearances’ intact. We have another missing child, Kyron, who was ‘abducted’, whose care’taker’ mother (step or not), it’s thought, MUST have had help. Where have we heard all this before?

We need to understand to recognize in time– ‘we’ as a society. Desiree’s pain, is Terri’s thrill. The jury in the c-word case, was a reflection of society in this way, that we don’t recognize what monsters lay beneath a self-serving veneer of the ‘wonderful mother’, we have to see the whole picture and understand, and like this jury never did, link ‘the behaviours’ and understand.

The answers to what happened to Caylee, to Kyron, will never easily or simply come as they could, from those who know– we have to stop wishing and hoping, and understand ‘in time’– ‘in time’ with the will to recognize the signs of danger.

Kyron is still out there, and Terri is still a c-word with the answers that will never come from her. The next jury (our society) has to understand and ‘in time’.

  37. Todd in Tulsa says:

What’s wrong with this picture? The residents of Florida, as it sounds, are going to be the ones paying for the “C” defense bills, all the while the murdering extortionist and her blimp pimp not a year ago, claims indigent status, now has a possibility for large earnings. I cannot see ANY legitimate publishing company taking ANY chances on the gruesome twosome, be it that it is a well documented fact that both have a propensity to lie. In regards to this “Support C word” webpage, I wonder if they’d still be adimant had this been a case in which no media, cameras, news stories played any part. Bottom line, it’s a simple deduction of supply and demand. Have an over-supply of the C-girl and her minions, but no demand, their value becomes equivalent to that of the dormant gum in those penny gumball machines that has had an ongoing shelf life since it’s creation in 1980

I say, let’s continue to shut the market down, and let the product go stale.

  46. Kleat says:

whoa– Morgan and Weaver, I suppose it’s too much to hope for, that to have a client-lawyer relationship, there must be a signed agreement…. *sigh*

She must chalk this one up to experience– my question would be, did Baez have wind of this Morgan relationship, and was he playing some underhanded sleasy game for some desperate reason? The vortex takes a hard right.

I realize you’re completely right on here, Blink….And I do thing that we can throw ourselves into the Caylee’s Law effort to make us collectively feel that we have done something for her. We are lighting a candle rather than cursing the darkness.

I just wish there was a way to keep Cindy and George and their NEW foundation out of the Caylee’s Law project. (Why do they need a SECOND foundation??)

And I hope that Bozo now sees that he underestimated how incensed people remain about the verdict …

At this point, Casey really may not have any sellability to any news organization …or even an entertainment group – unless to a porn site …or perhaps roller derby.

Certainly she has zero sellability for anything where an interview is involved because IRONICALLLY – the one thing that the prosecution and defense were able to put out there clearly and incontrovertibly is that Casey is a liar and a slut …So her lying makes interviews valueless …so that just leaves Bozo with whatever her body is worth (gagging on that line).
