On Quitting Casey: The New C Word Is the New Quality Control

Orlando, FL- I thought my chapped skin was over.

Read, shower, repeat.

Write, ignore call from editor, shower, repeat.

The OCD I developed during the case of the murder of Caylee Anthony by her TotMom, The C word, continues.

Anger over the death of an innocent child is understandable, fierce loathing when the accused is her Mother, is justified.

What is not, is the minutes of our day one devotes to the C word.

Angst is power, nobody will argue that.  What is decidedly MOST powerful, is quitting Casey.

Images of fake checks with non-existant banks and non-existant companies are hitting the web to act as a barometer of the public’s interest and acceptance.

The porn industry rescinded an offer to C word, if that does not say it all, I don’t know what does.  Let’s say they tend to be a less judgemental crowd on occasion.

I am calling you out.  I am calling me out.

Quit caring.  Quit Casey = Cashless Cow

If you want to be a color form in this girls chloroform play set,  I cannot stop you.

What I can tell you, is that these payday wannabees have been Trumped.

Literally.

Between The Donalds’ hair being real and him getting a look up President Obama’s unmentionables bearing a birth certificate on a whim, who do these ilk think are going to give them “equal time”?

IT IS WORKING. REPEAT. IT IS WORKING.  WE ARE WINNING.

Even Rupert Murdoch says “If a single person in my US offices so much as says that *%?#/’s name out loud it will make Rebekah Brooks stay in the big house look like a debutant cotillion, whatever that is.”

Here’s what happened:This is the most notorious and nationally covered case since The O word, and this felon and her counsel can’t get a legitimate network meeting.

Yep. The Moral leprosy crew are singing for supper.  Industry insiders will tell you that the rumor mill has produced a steady call of public outrcy at the mere notion their firms would consider any deals with Cword or her defense team, and the existing artists threatening to walk if they do.

Simply put, it is tantamount to scheduling a tsunami in your lobby.  Not even Don Draper could pull that off.

Ms. Folmer, reached from her latest promotion to washroom hand towel service  had this to say:

Due to my journalistic integrity and because nobody told me we could not cancel a check after a verdict, I was wondering if I could fill a role in Jackass4 or Roller ball 10.   I look forward to meeting the jury members, your among friends.

Late this morning, calls to THE BAEZ LAW FIRM for comment have not been returned.

A woman answering the phone at Jose Baez’s office who declined to be identified,  told Blink,  Editor In Chief of www.blinkoncrime.com:

Good Luck getting a call back, he has been sitting in his office for two days hitting the redial button to the News of The World Offices trying to get a live person on the phone.   He is convinced he can swing a deal with somebody over there. Any Suggestions?

Sure,  I answered, tell him to hit the O button,  and just keep holding, they have a very busy switchboard.

Blink I’m so happy about this latest post. I have stopped all C stuff. I have quit NG, JVM, and HLN all together. I simply quit watching. The best way to upset the C now is to put all of our focus and attention on Caylee and Caylee’s law. And focus on other victims that need a voice. We have to stop feeding the C machine.

I still stick to my theory that the two of them are going to implode. It may not be today or tomorrow, but its coming and its going to be over $$. The two greedos will be battling for the scraps that they do get. JB has underestimated C.

    Press MENU key
    Select SET UP
    Select LABELS/LISTS
    Enter CHANNEL NUMBER
Go down to ON LIST and click off the check mark
    Exit out of menu
(if TV button on remote starts flashing red once your done, press it once)

Sony is a lot easier (still have to do 2 of those):

    Blink.

I’ve read and re-read your latest C installment many times since I woke this morning.
Thank you so much for knowing just the right words to speak.
Your words today have truly turned things around for me.
Captain Blink has righted the ship – and the C has been given the heave-ho.

I had long stopped clicking on anything C related, and stopped watching HLN since a few days after the verdict.
But, an terrible underlying current of helplessness, despair, and anger was eating me up inside.
As hard as I tried, I couldn’t shake that burning in my gut.

Honestly, today is the first time I can say that I am truly moving forward.
With purpose, with hope, with CAYLEE.

    Peace be with you.

I have every intention of calling on everyone of you, and then some, when we approach US presentations of Caylees law, for support, or alternative suggestions to gain support.

But we had to turn the corner on the tough stuff.

I have always feared that hate for the A’s and Cword would stifle advocacy for Caylee, I am feeling pretty strong we have what it takes to keep that from occurring.

Really proud y’all let me hang out, thank you.

    Hey RagDoll; in response to your questions;

Ms Austa Nichol Weaver sent an email to WESH saying (paraphraised); dear news organizations, my client (Mr Riley) will sell C’s whereabouts to the highest bidder, incliding city & name of the subdivision; where she is and will reside..
When contacted by WESH Ms Weaver said she is withdrawing the offer and is no longer representing “Mr Riley”. (WESH wasn’t gunna bid.)

Attorney JB is supposedly in NYC trying to drum up a deal with the networks and Ms Weaver seems to not be involved in that.

I think Kleat’s mention of afternoon sack activities was teasing about why the porn entity, Vivid, dropped it’s offer to C; she might leave the customer unsatisfied as she did according to to a young Orange County Deputy she dated in early 2008. (He later lost his job over this because when he was on the case in July 2008 he lied; that he had once met C at a party and had no relationship with her. He was busted on the lie when the detectives had Casey’s cell texts including the sexts with the young deputy.)

Please correct, Kleat, if I’m misinterpreting. I had a laugh over your illusion to Deputy AR (a vortext victim).

The best way to get ourselves to the next level is to use our energies to support the enactment of Caylee’s law in every state.

We also need to contact our courts so that they know we are very disatisfied with the jury selection and their failure to follow the law regarding the verdict. I have been looking for a way to see if the court could have set aside the jury verdict. What is done is done and perhaps it is better just to let the court know our opinion.

    Dear Friend:

I cannot disagree with anything you have said in your email. To discover that failing to report the disappearance of a child immediately is not already a crime is unthinkable.

It is my belief that there will be several pieces of legislation submitted in the 2012 session that address this issue, brought home to all of us by the heartbreaking death of little Caylee. This situation illustrates the distressing fact that children, in many ways, are still treated as chattel, and we must correct this oversight in the law.

I will be very pleased to co-patron any and all efforts that create protection under the law for other children, while always remembering that Caylee was not so fortunate.

Thank you for sharing your concerns and for caring about children.

    Random thoughts-

Sometimes an attorney befriends another attorney for bidness reasons and unbefriends them when the perceived ratings bonanza is no longer available. Boat rides ending soon?

The rumored payday from an interview to be sold over seas would cover taxes, liens, portions of a settled lawsuit, and a small bag of beef jerky. Lone Star horses would still have to be paid.

I was in town when a famous plane stopped over. The rumored human cargo thought she had landed in Hell a few years early due to local heat and humidity. (That last sentence was a joke and a lame one at that.) Gumbo for all.

Nashville’s finest recorded a song about a wee cherub that many have sweat blood for. I have an “in” to their inner ear if anyone can think of how to use it wisely to pursue overdue legislation.

Any legislation should contain provisions for substantially more than a slap on the wrist. I suggest multiple amputations, honey, and ants.

The simultaneous conclusions of multiple projects quadruples the pain felt by the participants and spectators. “Winning” Christine somehow still feels like a loss. Time and pampering…

I reckon their grins are getting smaller by the day.

I went to great pains to code it all up. Edit as needed to keep “Them” from knowing I was talkin’ about ‘em. I still harbor massive inner anger.

“That counterclaim was last updated in November 2009, nearly one year after Caylee Anthony’s body was found.

“(Anthony) did not fabricate any statements to the police,” according to the court document filed by Anthony’s lawyer.

Four months later, Mason was working to defend his client based on the theory that her daughter accidentally drowned.

On July 5, a jury acquitted Anthony of murdering her daughter. At trial, Anthony’s lawyers acknowledged Anthony lied about the kidnapping.

On Thursday, Anthony’s new civil attorney, Charles Greene, voluntarily withdrew the counterclaim against Zenaida Gonzalez. Greene did not explain why he retracted the claim.

Lead defense attorney Jose Baez has refused to say when Anthony backed off her original story that her daughter had been kidnapped.”

What will seriously help ALL bills, and again, it needs to be more specific per state, and you have my word I will take the time to do that when we get there if necessary- is the GAL component.

We talk about everyone’s rights under the law, when the one person’s rights go unrepresented we are trying to protect in the first place.

okay so we can start by having all jurors go over “talking points” during deliberation.
then a questionairre of questions that the deffense and prosecution asked during the trial.
A questionairre on the evidence that was presented during the trial.
They would need to answer questions and pass to see if they understand the instructions for guilty or not guilty etc etc, I am sure you see where I am going with this. why can’t this be done?
I really believe this would be great.
an officer of the court should be there during deliberations to make sure there is no hinky stuff going on in there. keeping it honest.
so you see we can change this if we can find someone to write this stuff up in the legal manner as Caylees law is being worked out.

When I am inadvertently exposed, I experience a strong sense of ambivalence consisting of sadness and repulsion. I usually allow myself to briefly ponder these emotional interludes rather than deny their existence. In so doing I generally am drawn to familiar venues frequented by others with similar experiences. I believe the past three years afloat in a sea of wretched ugliness, deceit, and sadness requires nothing less than a firm landing on the shores of genuine grief, empathy, and compassion surrounded by fellow survivors. Thank you, Blink for providing a safe port for the gradual recovery of land legs. Working through, or as my Psychology professors like to say, “Processing well” the vast challenges in our lives is an individual endeavor and a community venture. I think the implementation of Caylee’s Law is an excellent modus operandi for grieving well and gleaning goodness and decency from this otherwise heartbreaking situation. Shalom

Oh, wonderful, Blink! I have a heart for GALs. They yield considerable power and influence within Missouri Courtrooms. Much is required of them in their role as advocates for “the best interest of the children.” In Missouri, we have both GALs and CASA volunteers, Court Appointed Special Advocates who represent and support children throughout court proceedings. A long time dream of mine has been to be a CASA volunteer. I recently downloaded an application for becoming a CASA volunteer. I looked it over, tossed it back in my pile, pulled it out, and tossed it back in. Maybe it is time I pulled it back out and took a closer look. I’ve been reluctant to apply due to the fact I’m currently in the last year of a master’s degree program in counseling , which augments undergraduate degrees in criminal justice and social work. I don’t know Caylee’s Law may be the motivation I need to conquer my hesitancy. I’ll keep you posted. Shalom

On quitting the C-word, here is a medley of links to help us make the break and inspire us forward…

1 My favorite video of cuuuuute little Caylee. She is so funny and endearing, this quirky little Barney dance makes me laugh and cry:

2 California legislators have already got Caylee’s law in motion introducing two versions of the bill:

3 Kleat gets right to the bottom of this whole matter in his discussion of sociopath/psychopath/narcissists(Kleat says: July 22, 2011 at 12:44 pm) Not enough is known about them, their charm can be disarming, if not outright dangerous. I propose “Sociopath/Psychopath Awareness” and a link (providing a number of informative links) to help start spreading the word:

    Blink –

Is Caylee’s Law going to advocate for state by state legislation or be a national advocacy center for others to lobby for state laws? I really appreciate and admire what you’re doing about this. Its disturbing to think that there is nothing legally that can be done for parents/caretakers who don’t report their child missing but can’t be charged for murder due to time or forensic reasons. It struck me this morning how many kids might actually be missing or are known missing and nobody knows or knew about it until some extraordinary effort was made.

I used to think that our basic constitutional laws covered pretty much everything – but the number of kids who go “missing” at the hands of their caretakers unnoticed has me convinced otherwise.

I’m not the kind that gets into twisting the various characters names involved in these cases – but the Cword pretty much covers what I think about that one.

    There she is!

    Excellent Point, and excellent question.

In it’s inception stages of course, the site, http://www.cayleeslaw.com will be a sort of portal for both National Advocacy overall, and a vehicle for state by state information about the path of filed bills into law, and all the status information that goes with that.

To your point, in many states their are laws that “abut” components of Caylee’s Law, and therefore parts of the bill are ammendments (this is true in my state of NJ) whatever is not covered, is “new”, or in some states just upgrading certain crimes from misdemeanor to third degree of fourth degree felony REQUIRE separate law.

The site will also have a level of unique content, with guest authors, advocating for Caylee’s Law, and links and content from the web, pertaining to or containing updates to keep us all fair and balanced will be auto populated (ala Drudge Report). I envision unique content will follow each individual state’s timelines for senate sessions and floor presentations, etc.

I EXPECT that there are going to be challenges to passing caylee’s law, and the site will also have a forum for constituents to have respectful conversations debating those challenges so that lawmakers at the State and National level can LISTEN to their people and conversely, folks will have this outlet to know they are being heard, specifically all sides of the issues. I also believe those in the position to carry out the law, as in LE and State Attorneys, need to weigh in as it relates to their roles in implimentations for success.

For me personally, I intend to support amending many of the current filings, and in the event a Federal Law is introduced via Congress, to include appropriate conditions for instant guardian ad litem appointments. In short, and this is not the vehicle for the argument, lol, but had Caylee been appointed a GAL on July 15th or 16th, her mother and grandparents would have been precluded from selling her images and thus funding her $300K defense. There are many coulda woulda shoulda lessons that can “splinter” from that aspect alone.

I want to point out also, that lily is right, that many people, myself included, until I researched it, was under the impression that most of our laws cover these issues. Not even close, and as they are written, every state could end up with a Cword, and worse.

While the verdict was an anomoly, I cannot disagree with that, the crime is sadly not.

This law will be both a deterrent and a LE tool, yes, but above all, it protects the best interest of our children of tender age.

Lastly, I am going to work as hard as possible to try and navigate the issue by keeping it as NON-Partisan as possible. I advocate the law, regardless of who files it.

Subject to tweaking, as we are in the planning stages, but that is my concept, and I am always open to suggestions.

    B
