Kyron Horman Missing: New Years Eve Settlement Ends Horman Marriage
Portland, OR- In a surprise court hearing, Judge Henry Kantor signed off on the agreement between Kaine Horman and Terri Moulton Horman to end their marriage this afternoon.
Details of the agreement have not been released publicly, but according to KGW, a financial settlement to include child support and a lump payment to Terri Horman has been reached.
In what can only be described as a bitter family court feud- the divorce matter was last in court on December 16th to decide if the Horman landscaper, Rodolfo Sanchez Estrada -who alleges Terri Horman tried to hire him to murder Kaine Horman at a lunch meeting – would testify.
Judge Kantor has not yet filed an order from that hearing but Attorneys for Terri Horman were granted a continuance from the pending temporary custody motion scheduled for December 19th and 20th.

The only problem here is Kyron did not leave the school with Terri and he was not seen walking down the sidewalk with Terri or Kiara. . He was seen after Terri left the school. The photo she is talking about here is the first picture taken of Kyron in front of his science project. We know that Terri and Kiara did not leave with Kyron right after that picture was taken due to a witness seeing Terri taking the picture.
I remember DY saying Kyron was seen in the parking lot next to a truck after that picture was taken. So whats up with this new twist? Remember the” he saw it all” post.
If DY has so much evidence Terri is guilty then why does she need to stretch the truth to get her point across. Just tell everyone what you think happened and stick to it.
She is not stretching the truth, she is lying about a material fact regarding her son’s disappearance- why? There are multiple witnesses who have given statements to LE and depositions contradicting her. Staton himself publicly stated Kyron was seen after TH left and and I have a time stamped photo of the room he was last in where TH produced a receipt, and was captured on store video miles away, simultaneously.
The only thing I can come up with is that she is making statements of belief (lies) in the event she gets sued for making the allegations she has when she knows they are impossible. I cannot fathom why a mother would help a predator hide in plain site for any reason, because unfortunately, that is what she is doing.
Lastly- if there was a scintilla of evidence past some river jockey’s “impressions” TH would have been indicted or put in jail.

The language of a 1 to 1 personal written offer of that nature to Terri, where one places oneself in a professional investigative interviewer’s role with a stranger, shows in my opinion the fixation & grandiose thinking of a Borderline PD, just my opinion upon reading one writing. And one would expect, then, involvement in many “cases.”
The witness to that photo, Gina Zimmerman, IIRC, said it was taken around 8:15. (second Dateline episode, I think)
Desiree Young is now telling us that Kyron disappeared just moments after that, and saying he disappeared from OUTSIDE the school, when LE contradicts her entirely, saying he was last seen INSIDE the school either around 8:45 or around 9:00 a.m. (whichever report one cares to believe).
WTH IS going on here? Now I’m wondering if there will be an update from LE and if said update is making people nervous.

I looked at some of the Comments on Worsham, most by Stacey. But, in her Comment to her own writing, Worsham betrays off-line chat knowledge rec’d from Stacey. She thanks Stacey for” the tip from Kyron’s mother ” she posted that TH now lives in Eugene. Stacey herself had not attributed her source as Desiree, but Worsham verifies it. How else could Desiree get that info other than Tony accessing professional data bases or State colleagues?

Here’s an idea. This case needs an update, it most certainly is a cold case, and it’s far past time new and accurate information be released to the public and the rumors halted. I don’t see how rumors and inaccuracies will forward a case, God knows it hasn’t done any good whatsoever in the last 5 years. If any witnesses there that day, are hooked up on believing inaccuracies and rumors, will the truth ever be brought to light? C’mon LE, give the witnesses in Kyron’s life a spark of truth to go on.

I looked on her site and had the same impression. But considering whom RW has aligned her self with and her willingness to pass on information that she has not researched, I have my doubts about her. IMO there is not much difference in passing on or recommending URL’s involved in cyber abuse then doing it yourself.

The day he went missing
Kyron and his stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman, arrived at Skyline Elementary School around 8 a.m. Friday and attended a science fair at the school. Around 8:45 a.m. Terri said goodbye to Kyron and watched the second-grader walk down the hallway toward his classroom. Police say that the last time the boy was seen was about 9 a.m. Investigators have not revealed who saw Kyron last, or whether he attended his first class.

@Rose, I’m not sure what you wanted me to look at in the MCSO 2016 budget, but I thought the above was interesting. Sounds like they need volunteers to help with various departments, including the Cold Case Team. Anyone up Portland way interested? I think I’d enjoy doing that sort of thing in my spare time, even if it just involved some filing, or researching, but I’m too many miles away. Anything I could do to help find the missing for sure. (It has been 44 years since a friend of mine went missing, and I will never be able to forget that she too, still needs to be found.)

Marion County deputies looking for man who attempted to abduct child
The sheriff’s office described the man to be a “thin, black male adult, 20 to 30 years old, with short curly hair, no facial hair and a nose piercing. He was wearing long pants, Adidas shoes and a black sweatshirt.”
The man had a distinct marking on his face or neck that looked like a tattoo or possibly a birthmark shaped like a bird or skull.
The man’s vehicle could be a charcoal or gray 2009 Acura with two doors and tinted windows and a green triangle hanging from the rear view mirror and cigarettes were seen in the center console.

It seems to me the only way to progress this case is the LE led (not mcso) town meeting of all attendees between 8:45-930 am, grouped & prioritized by the rooms they were in as to relevance, to revisit a composite sketch, composite behavioral description, and track the whereabouts of the lone male who asked for kyron’s outdoor assistance. This should aleays have been a criminal case focused on profiling & identifying that man, and if known, tracking his postSciFair whereabouts.

Obviously Desiree’s portrayal of time in the above statement is misleading, which is bothersome since nothing but facts should matter when a child is missing.
That said, it’s likely Desiree is saying to Terri, “We have witnesses that saw you leave the building with Kyron” and it likely has something to do with Kyron being seen near the truck with two men in the parking lot, a statement Desiree made years ago.
We could sift those statements down into a possible scenario… after being seen in Skyline Elementary that morning while taking the famous science fair photo Terri left the building with Kyron after which Kyron returned to the school where he was seen and photographed without her (per Blink having viewed said time stamped image(s)) before he went missing.
Why not just SAY that??? I can believe the above scenario happened and still believe Terri set up Kyron’s disappearance because she wanted him out of her life. I don’t need lies to support Desiree and wanting Kyron to be found.
It appears more and more that Desiree is building her house on sand.
LE has an obligation to update the public and clarify the events of that morning.
AS- I know you have the opinion you do- and as you know, I respect that. I have come to learn through the years that if I ever felt compelled to “change” someone’s opinion to agree with mine it likely was due to ego- or maybe I was not so sure of my theory in the first place. If I thought there was something I could do to change opinions to progress Kyron’s case- I might make an exception.
I do not believe in the current climate (meaning folks have an adversarial interest to truth) is going to change anytime soon, unfortunately for Kyron.
So my opinion of why DY is not “misleading”, but outright lying, about events she has knowledge of doesn’t matter- but she 100% is doing so and therefore, I don’t care why. In my view, she is thwarting efforts she professes to be her motivation in the first place. If one takes just her last full interview- the Dr. Phil show, she has a completely different presentation of facts- in fact, both her and Kaine agreed that she “dropped him off”. I think what you are trying to say is that potentially Desiree is behaving this way because she is trying to send some obtuse message ( which may or may not be info only known to her and ?)
At the risk of repeating myself, and I say this with love and compassion in my heart for the loss they are enduring, or ignoring- I am not sure which, that neither one of Kyron’s parents are doing everything they can, know how to do, have been advised to do in some instances to progress this case to find their child.
Nearing the 5 year mark- you will not find anyone able to prove me wrong on that, and that is what hurts my heart so much. This investigation is hibernating because Kyron’s parents have agenda needs that make that ok.

To Kelleys credit I don’t think the sites she is telling people to avoid are pro TH sites (since all the ones I knew of have been cancelled). I think she is talking about the myriad of hater sites that have sprung up claiming to be about her missing nephew Kyron.
These sites not part of an effort to find KY and bring him home They are just there to generate hatred and draw attention to the Bottom feeders who run them. Who would want their loved one’s memory associated with some of the demented people who have nothing better to do with their lives then spread lies and hatred.

What I appreciate about Blink of BOC is she boils things down to the essential heart, with decency:

What concerns me are those bios’ (andtheir family members’) “agenda needs” which predated the abduction.
After the abduction, imo the bios’ are no worse than MCSO or DA’s agenda needs
to the extent ALL have interfered with an effective criminal onvestigation. If Kyron “came back” I think he should absolutely be under DHS’ Court-ordered supervision until he is 18, maybe initially placed in a “safe” home.
I know there are some folks on here that believe Kyron is alive, apparently secreted away somewhere. I respect that. What I do not respect, is the folks that have that opinion as if it is inline with his parents beliefs. It is not. Who really believes that any parent believes their child is an active captive somewhere and behaves this way- to include, no attempts escalate this investigation passed- “the stepmom did it” AND she did it with “the other ginger” cause gingers kidnap kids.

Pretty much zero LE attention has been paid to Desiree’s past associates (and you alluded she was in rehab in WA) most likely due to her currect association with a “detective.” I mean her brother got in a street fight outside a Medford bar (where his pool team shoots) with an “ex” who was arrested. Surely Desiree had exes other than Kaine.

Their budget substantiates that & makes me wonder why small towns merge. They should have done interagency agreements with PPD imo. Fascinating find wrt volunteers TRuth. Looks like most are corrections-centered too. I wonder who’s a Cold Case volunteer? Retired LE?

Malty- if it’s ok with you, I would rather not discuss that here- it becomes a blog within a blog sort of thing and with little effort editors found that individual is not credible in several statements that were made publicly.

It is interesting however, that Kyron’s World Soldiers (site self monitored by the Desiree’s & her sister’s families, according to Kelly) are directly connected to the car washes and the car washes which are being performed to raise money for Kyron’s searches led by none other than Desiree Young herself, and which include the persons who run all those other hate/stalking sites. Because it sounds to me like Kelly is telling the public, *we are not responsible for those *other* sites.* Obviously they felt the need to say that, so why not distance yourself from those people, if you don’t want the public to think you are part of their hate filled, cyber and physically stalking websites?
IMHO, Kelly & Desiree, and whomever else is running Kyron’s World Soldiers (as well as BKH and MKH) should simply ban the hate mongers. Why not? That’s what’s curious. Seems to me it would be simple enough to have them all shut down by FB based on the fact that it is HER son that is missing and she doesn’t want the connection, so why don’t they? I’m afraid the answer is truthfully, they support them in their heart of hearts. Sad affairs indeed.
