Kyron Horman Missing: New Years Eve Settlement Ends Horman Marriage
Portland, OR- In a surprise court hearing, Judge Henry Kantor signed off on the agreement between Kaine Horman and Terri Moulton Horman to end their marriage this afternoon.
Details of the agreement have not been released publicly, but according to KGW, a financial settlement to include child support and a lump payment to Terri Horman has been reached.
In what can only be described as a bitter family court feud- the divorce matter was last in court on December 16th to decide if the Horman landscaper, Rodolfo Sanchez Estrada -who alleges Terri Horman tried to hire him to murder Kaine Horman at a lunch meeting – would testify.
Judge Kantor has not yet filed an order from that hearing but Attorneys for Terri Horman were granted a continuance from the pending temporary custody motion scheduled for December 19th and 20th.

Something is behind deliberate mis-statements of fact. A mother whose child is missing knows everything there is to know about public facts. Nowhere has it been mentioned that Kyron walked away from School on the day of the Science Fair with Terri and his sister. If she knows otherwise what is stopping her in 5 years of not screaming this from the roof top. It is beyond baffling.

I believe that the stolen laptop and Roten arrest for menacing were on 2 different days and unrelated.

I was so hung up on the first sentence above, I didn’t pay much attention to this:

It is yet another statement from DY that she somehow knows Kyron is deceased, which curiously conflicts so much with Kyron’s father’s view of the situation, “that Kyron needs to be found”, even TMH agrees with him, but DY is telling us, he will never be.

Apparently San Bernardino Sheriff’s Dept relentlessly misuses stingrays without warrants.
So say a sophisticated techie, or an LE employee with this asset, had trained a stingray on Terri’s cell as a matter of recent habit, or on 6/4/10, to access knowledge of all of her cell traffic, that would gather her pings to the stingray’s location rather than the actual cell tower near her, thus yielding misleading info about her actual location. And if anyone did that, he wouldn’t run confess to LE as such stingray use would be illegal. Could’ve been a LE employee, a spouse gathering evidence, or a stalker SZ.

The problem with that, as I see it anyway, is that is exactly what LE has been doing for the last 5 years and has gotten them nowhere.
Even Gates said they were going to remain on the case until they could do all they could do. I think they’ve exhausted that theory and I think they’re done. And unfortunately, so much time and money was spent pursuing that theory, that now, Kyron’s case sits on the back burner, and that is shame.
Anyway, after all this time, I just have a feeling there are no ties to TMH, at least not directly, nor by her own knowledge, as surely this investigation would have revealed something or someone by now.
My gut tells me there are ties to someone however, I just don’t know who. My gut also tells me this involves more than one person, IOW, I don’t think Kyron was a random choice and I think whomever physically took him may well have been someone who was not acting alone in this abduction, and very possibly working with/for someone else at their behest. But, if not TMH, then who? (Famous last words from TY.)
This is just my gut feeling, based on the few aspects of his disappearance that we do know about, which is unfortunately limited and most recently again, according to DY’s latest post, possibly not reliable or distorted or falsified information. How many versions of the truth are there? Just makes me wonder if KH & DY have specifically been told different stories by LE.
Why doesn’t LE publish some known facts, that will not hinder their hopefully eventual apprehension and conviction of Kyron’s abductor, yet put an end to rumors? Seems there must be something they can do to light a spark under the back burner. So sad….5 years and nothing.
I absolutely do not believe TMH has any knowledge of, or ties to SZ, who I believe abducted Kyron and unfortunately ended his life. I realize that is just an opinion, but it is five years later- a well trained and educated one. Not just based on my very lengthy coverage or on the record responses, but more from protocol training and case study. I have seen investigative correspondence at various times on Kyron’s case which led me to conclude long ago that MCSO is convinced that a man at the science fair was involved and connected to Terri and therefore DDS.
If I were in a position to release more specifics on that correspondence, I would, but it would do nothing to progress the case and I do not release LE sensitive docs here. So very plainly, if one takes my assertion as true, at the very least, LE has always believed in SZ, which through deduction, also means that they believe if TH was involved she was connected to him. So why haven’t Kyron’s parents been beating the drum on SZ? I will never ever understand that logic, unless the answer is one that I already know.
TH spent a little over 3 weeks cooperating with LE fully, had an MCSO staying at her home, and another agent assigned to her personally at all times. If there was something to find, how is it possible it never was? It is my belief she legitimately believed all of that was going to help find her son.

Many of the media outlets have timelines still listed on their own websites, so one would think a reporter who was privy to DY’s latest comment about Terri, Kyron & the baby walking out Skyline’s door together, which directly conflicts with what’s on their own websites, would send up red flags and questions to Kyron’s bio mom as to where she got this information.

A additional factor: If reporters begin to question Desiree about her statements it will show how poorly they have been reporting this case from the beginning and open the door for those who believe this entire investigation has been botched to come out publicly in a loud and united voice.

Lets keep in mind all of these folks have news editors they work for. They can say and ask what they are directed to, really, and edit as necessary. They really do no investigative work. Years ago I had a reporter present a scoop as her own. I was on the horn with her editor who assured me that all of the info she was referencing was from their/her sources. I said then why did my press memo, which she read, each of which had a unique link ID for tracking purposes, get downloaded 36 times starting 48 hours before you went to deadline.

This link has a copy of the redacted police report on Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation case investigation. Thought folks would find it interesting.
That case (and cover up) makes you realize how secretive child molesting is inside a protective group. The victims were left to fend for themselves while the parents knew they had a predator in their home and who did re-offend. These folks don’t just ‘stop’ when they are caught the first time, as this case clearly shows.

I think LE is starting with TH and working out from there looking for the man, SZ. I think they need to figure out who the man is and then see if he has any connection with TH, in other words open the pool of suspects to include men not connected with TH.
My point was made in agreement with Amy’s Sis, that maybe if everyone could put aside the TH factor (whether or not she is involved) and just focus on who physically removed Kyron from the building we could get somewhere. Maybe find some common ground and start from there.
DY’s statement should have evoked some questions and rung some phones. If she thinks TH walked out of the school with Kyron, then what does she think happened after that? Does she think Kyron was in the truck at FM’s? How does she account for TH being at FM when Kyron was photographed inside the school?

First she limited berself to disavowing FB sites who claim to be “for Kyron” but are not family monitored & approved.
The only FB sites in common public knowledge of being “for Kyron” are also run by her World Soldier–Eugene, Roseburg. The only FB “for Kyron”

That it did not demonstrates how marginalized & ineffective Desiree is wrt Kyron’s investigation.
Blink, do you think SZ was acting alone?
One reason I think not, is because I feel SZ had to be very familiar with that little school. Which means if SZ was, then he’d been there before, and was taking a huge chance being there that someone would recognize him. So IF no one there recognized SZ, then it’s highly possible that SZ was actually new to that school, but was *coached* by someone very familiar to the school. I also believe it possible that whomever was the *coach* was inside that school as well.
Of course, if someone did recognize SZ at some point in the investigation, then his alibi must be a good one.
Obviously I won’t say how- but I can tell you to this day there are ways to access the building plan, in detail, online. We all know it was absolutely easier in 2010- I keep those pages in archive.
I can’t in good conscience say I have a belief one way or the other about SZ acting alone. We are trained not to profile on one incident- let alone with limited facts like this, but considering the organizational component, that typically means one offender. Exception can be the rule, however.
Every answer to re-build this crime, which would be investigative 101, is at that school at not a person is asking those questions.
If they have identified SZ, which I doubt, then his alibis is sound enough for them not to dig- AND I am willing to bet has no ties to TH.

Exactly. Is anyone questioning her? I mean even her followers know what has been reported, and this statement is entirely in conflict with what has been reported. Did they not just submit some sort of petition to MCSO, asking for more information? Why don’t they ask their leader for some clarification? I don’t get it.

That post that Stacey posted was an old post. She reposted it 5/25/15 and thus DY’s comment is current.
IIRC, Quinn was 15-16 when Kyron went missing. Kyron being 7/8 in 2010 there’s a 8 year difference. I could be wrong but I believe KH married DDM when Q was 7. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong.

@Rose – I’m sure you know this, but I started “thinking out loud”. Of course, it isn’t one size fits all, but much of it does seem to fit Kaine and his 3 or more.
I can see the possibility of Kaine as a rescuer and it fits in other ways too. What I know from study and personal experience with rescuers (men, anyway) is that:
(1) they see you as the “rescue-ee”, not as the person you normally are – which you may not be at the time anyway because you are feeling and acting as though you need rescuing, and we all know (hope at least) that isn’t usually a permanent condition,
(2) many times they have a set number of personal and financial resources they are willing to give up to rescue you and can be quite selfish with the rest – not particularly planned in advance, just evolves with the situation. In other words, a rescuer in this context is not a truly selfless, generous person.
(3) the rescuer who is really into rescuing HAS to move on to a new rescue because he is not prepared to change himself to another role in the relationship
(4) a true rescuer (personality) does not want the rescued to change and resists signs the rescued is starting to be whole again, although a “serial rescuer” may just be resigned to the inevitable
(5) the rescuer sees goodness and strength in himself, weakness or neediness in the one he feels he “must” rescue
(6) the relationship is doomed from the start unless there is heavy duty counseling or the rescued person learns how to keep playing up that need in situation after situation and is satisfied doing it, and the rescuer goes along with it
(7) the rescued person often emerges from the relationship much stronger, sometimes resentful because the rescuer represents a weakness they wish to leave behind, and finds a way to move on; the rescuer stays pretty much the same while waiting for a new “cry for help”
(8) outsiders do not understand what went wrong with the relationship – it looks “made in heaven” to them
(9) as the relationship fades, the rescuer sees the other person as ungrateful and at the same time, expecting too much or too demanding – if there are children, the normal demands of meeting the child’s needs may blend into the neediness of the one he thought he was rescuing, sometimes leading to increasing frustration
(10) a child alone may fill some of that need to rescue and control at the same time, but watch out for those teen years
(11) last but not least – rescuers are not strong, maybe that’s why they need to be part of scenarios which help them to feel strong – therefore, they are vulnerable to anyone who recognizes this and pushes the right buttons
