Kyron Horman Missing: New Years Eve Settlement Ends Horman Marriage
Portland, OR- In a surprise court hearing, Judge Henry Kantor signed off on the agreement between Kaine Horman and Terri Moulton Horman to end their marriage this afternoon.
Details of the agreement have not been released publicly, but according to KGW, a financial settlement to include child support and a lump payment to Terri Horman has been reached.
In what can only be described as a bitter family court feud- the divorce matter was last in court on December 16th to decide if the Horman landscaper, Rodolfo Sanchez Estrada -who alleges Terri Horman tried to hire him to murder Kaine Horman at a lunch meeting – would testify.
Judge Kantor has not yet filed an order from that hearing but Attorneys for Terri Horman were granted a continuance from the pending temporary custody motion scheduled for December 19th and 20th.

It is shocking to me how identical in age Quinnlan and James were at the time of the disappearance, & Kaine hooked up with their Moms at just Kyron’s age. Imo that is beyond coincidental. I wonder if Kaine dropped Desiree when she lost residential custody of 7 yo Quinnlan? Did she ever have residential custody of Quinnlan early on?
DY did not lose residential custody of Quinn, she relinquished it, and by that time Kyron was 2. She did try to regain/modify at one point but she lost and she also had to pay support and attorney fees. She did have primary/residential custody of Quinn previously, but joint parenting time.

Except that I am NOT behind ANY of the current FB pages! I have not been involved as admin in ANY of the TH supportive pages for over 3 years now. I feel that it is my personal and professional development challenge to at least one day comprehend the answer to that question if I do not already. The simple answer is she knows in her heart the alternative, and regardless blames TH as the causation (years ago) as to what happened to her son so she has no qualms about blaming her as she has- even as contradictory evidence has been brought to her attention numerous times.
Not healthy, but I would take hate over loss of a child any day. It may be that simple. Not to oversimplify- cause I can be accused of that, but an unpopular position of mine persists in all of my experience and education in case work.
At the end of the day- it is all Biology. Our existence is hard wired to continue.

I can’t figure out what she needs to run 4 Facebooks. The world soldiers and the Roseburg, KFalls and Eugene pages usually say the same things (It looks like she does 1 twitter post that shows up on all pages). The Eugene, Roseburg and KFalls pages are always the same. SG lives in Longview Wa. so the location of the person admining is no where near those cities.
Just because one page name says KFalls and another says Eugene does nothing to change the audience that reads and posts on the pages so what is the point of the 3 identical pages that she posts the same things to everyday. Its the same internet/ Facebook is everywhere no matter what you call it.

And, Rose, if we go by this view of KH, we can easily see why the marriage was already in big trouble. Terri was becoming more independent and he was apparently not accepting this growth on her part (having a baby, looking for a job, hiring yard work done, etc.). His “confusion” about her behavior and all the things he says he didn’t realize were going on fits perfectly with what we’ve suggested about his approach to relationships, and made it super easy for someone to convince him she would try to hire a landscaper to do away with him. You cannot develop trust in someone who lives in a box in your mind – trust only comes when the person is “free to be” and proves themselves trustworthy. And nobody can fully trust the keeper of the box either.
It’s also easy, from this point of view, to see why Kaine and Desiree never became a unified force when dealing with Kyron’s disappearance. I don’t think Kaine understands either of his exes.

Actually, in terms of independence & growth, imo she has handled this loss very very well.
And her lack of playing the dependence role with Kaine is one emblem.

She has maintained employment and actually gotten & kept a job for a year that was well beyond her
education & experience when K was abducted. She has sustained her marriage & housing. I would argue
she chose a very concrete thinking authoritarian male like Kaine, but she’s made a go. She has turned some
interviews into income. She has not fallen into addictions. She moved her son to Medford for his Senior year and has sustaned that relationship. (Whether it was goid for him is another matter.) Her only losses seem to be a poor relationship with mcso & mcda. So I would argue the only thing dragging her down is her circle of fundraisers & family who reinforce her skewed version of reality wrt the investigation and perp.
I guess I am missing independence. Her legal bills and subsequent bills were funded by a go fund me account ( dependent on donations) and she is “dependent” on the theory that we know is false. I don’t see that as handling loss independently and to Rose’s point I agree, she is completely dependent on what I would call, as do several of my colleagues and some folks that know her personally and have now distanced themselves, on bad advice in efforts “not” to handle loss.

I was looking at functioning in terms of sustaining basic activities of daily living in the face of loss, such as consistant work, marriage, housing, & finding income however creatively from Phil or gofundme. She could have crawled into depression & substance abuse. Certainly her dependence on Tony personally and as an LE advisor, family, and stranger groupies has impaired her usefulness in advocating for a proper investigation & holding the school & mcso accountable. It is a darn shame Tony was imported into the Horman home, and the investigation, the night of 6/4.
She is certainly in denial as to a lone organized sexual predator.
I lay that at the bad advice of Tony and her more intrusive family members.
@MbS I like your morning psych review. It fits, and it also makes sense as to why KH & DY were so *together* on their united front in the beginning. In KH’s eyes, she was beyond needy and in need of rescue. Once DY, came to her senses and remembered he was the same man that left her while pregnant, and as she got more independent of him, like when she said she didn’t agree with his lifestyle, etc., everything changed. By the time she decided to go with the civil suit, KH was nowhere to be found, no longer at her side, because he simply wasn’t needed anymore. KH needs to be needed. I suppose we all do, just some more than others.
Your analysis actually makes me feel a little better about him.

Seems to me it would be simple enough to have them all shut down by FB based on the fact that it is HER son that is missing and she doesn’t want the connection, so why don’t they? To me it is not hard to understand why they do not ban them – for sadly it is they who are the most diligent of “supporters” they havent abandoned Kyron or Desiree 5 years on they refuse to be silenced they carry on posting- they carry on volunteering- -they continue to show up- they continue to make shirts post flyers give money wash cars and even have the where withall to stand before a court of law and speak to their support of Kyron
maybe the way to help Desiree is for all those who are not “them”
to finally stand up in unison to be the ones who volunteer who offer support – money -time and efforts to DY and familyat the same time letting her know – they are not there to hat/blame Th but to support DY KY etc

I just dont think we can know for certain that “nowhere” that bthis was mentioned, and to add at “notime” during that morning that Kyron walked away from School on the day of the Science Fair with Terri and his sister.
For all we know their is a witness who saw or thought they saw Kyron walking by Mom and sis sometime during that morning-
we cant know if the proposed witness was mistaken or if LE cleared the sighting up – or at what point in the “timeline” it might have occurred…
Blink has said time and time again that their were children that strongly resembled Ky and we know there was at least one other mother who resembled TH- there were a number of white trucks-
We cant know how many times TH returned to the truck or not- or if a witness was misremembering a different day or earlier in the morning etc.
Even if this sighting (if there was one) occurred and it was TH KY and KI that does not have to mean TH did anything to KY or had a hand in his disappearance..
To me it isnt surprising that Dy would “holdon” to this bit of info- and see it as a “Gotcha” TH momment even if it was later cleared up- sadly I think it is for lack of a better word…easier for DY to think Ky was in TH hands .. rather than he was taken by unknown hands for unknown purposes…
I understand the concern over Dy exs and so on…
I think all parents all family members friends acquaintances etc need to be looked at- I dont think anyone here can rule out anyone – its hard enough for LE to do…
thats why I think it was important that TH DY and all work with LE continuously to help provide names details etc – throughout these last 5 years- like DDS did with the aid of a lawyer ofcourse-

I think both tried and both had their failings
sadly i think all that happened with Ky disappearance the investigations and with the public scrutiny -even the strongest of marriages would crumble-
It seems each person can be good or one the victim and the other an abuser depending just upon who is looking thru those shades and what the focus is on-
In some of TH writings Etc KH was kind giving loving ever supportive openminded compatible in all things…in others he was a money mongering bully fatshamer

Skyline Elementary School in Northwest Portland. Kyron was seven years old at the time of his
disappearance and will turn 13 this September.
The Kyron Horman case remains active with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office. A full
time Sheriff’s Office detective is primarily assigned to the Kyron Horman missing child
investigation, and efforts to locate Kyron. Additionally, a now retired FBI Agent with years of
experience in the Child Abduction Rapid Deployment teams (CARD) continues his
involvement in this case, reviewing the evidence amassed by investigators. Over four thousand
tips have been received by MCSO regarding Kyron. Tips from around the United States and
globally arrive to MCSO on nearly a daily basis.
The Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office has participated in the efforts to resolve
Kyron Horman’s disappearance from the beginning. A grand jury has received evidence in the
case and is empaneled to hear available relevant testimony.
The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office and our agency partners in this investigation remain
committed to solving this crime, and bringing Kyron home. The Sheriff’s Office is offering a
$50,000 reward for information leading to the resolution of his disappearance. If you have

Certainly this would not sit well with her:
“8:45 a.m. Terri Horman leaves after watching Kyron walk toward his classroom after touring the science fair.
9 a.m. Kyron is reportedly seen by a student near the south entrance of the school, according to Sheriff Dan Staton, who says that was the last time the boy was seen. Multnomah County authorities later backtrack on that statement.”
Except for maybe the backtracked portion.
Well from my limited review- there are a few errors, certainly a few ommissions.

Desiree Davidson Young Hi all-Kyron’s mom here-the new law was enacted after Kyron went missing and because Kyron went missing, a close friend Sal Esquivel helped us to write a law and pass it, to require schools to report a child being absent. With Kyron, we got the call from his Friday absence on the following Monday, after he had been missing for 3 days. Gut wrenching moment for me at the house. All while standing next to the devil that took him and knew what happened. Ms Porter had an email that excused Kyron, email was from Terri herself. That’s why the school didn’t question it further. It’s Terri’s fault that Ky is missing today not Skyline’s.
As far as security cameras, Chown Hardware, a sub-contracting company I used to work with in Portland, so kindly donated the camera system now in Skyline, after he’d been missing. They installed it free to the school, prior to the start of the next school year.

We learn from Desiree that Terri sent an email to Kyron’s teacher, Ms. Porter, excusing him from class that day.
Per Desiree’s earlier statement, Kyron was witnessed leaving the school with Terri and Kiara. As I posted before, based on Blinks information that Kyron was seen and a photo was taken of him in a Skyline classroom during the time Terri was at Fred Meyer’s, I will consider that he returned to the school alone after previously leaving it with Terri.
I am hard pressed to believe Desiree is lying about either of the above statements and so I will continue to tuck information away in my mental files.
AS- to my knowledge based on witnesses who were interviewed by LE similarly- Kyron was seen outside briefly during the release of butterflies by the garden plantings, this is after TH has left, and I have independently confirmed it was him and not the child that resembles him. From there, he was seen in the electrical display room ( there were 2 actually, but as previously reported he was witnessed exiting with SZ).
He never left the school with TH. There is no witness I am aware of that has ever said that, in fact, the principal watched Terri and Kiara leave. I believe the theory ( after they learned Kyron was asked to help get something from his truck) was that TH was parked on the access road ( meaning she moved from the shoulder where witnesses confirmed she was parked originally) and that was debunked by the groundskeeper on live coverage, as well as confirmed when TH was seen on CCTV and produced associated receipts. I wish I agreed with you that DY would not make untruthful statements. I have known her to do that repeatedly in this case, unfortunately. That said, I know and trust your mental files, lol.
Bottom line here- NONE OF THIS, yet again, is designed to progress a proper investigation into Kyron’s case. If they truly have not, LE and the DA owe this Mother some truth.
