BREAKING NEWS: Jesse Matthew Abduction of Hannah Graham also linked to Morgan Harrington Murder
BREAKING NEWS- sources inside the investigation of both the murder of Morgan Dana Harrington and the abduction with the intent to defile of 2nd year student at UVA, Hannah Graham have confirmed to S. Christina Stoy, Editor in Chief of www.blinkoncrime.com that DNA belonging to Jesse Leroy Matthew, Jr matches the DNA link to that of a wanted suspect in the Harrington murder.
Further tests are being conducted to connect Mr. Matthew to a 2005 Fairfax sexual assault as well.

I feel like I need to give you all a hug. I can’t believe we might finally have justice for Morgan. I am so sad right now for Hannah and her family and what this probably means for them.

It is possible he learned from Morgan to take a longer drive.
I hope they draw a circle with a radius based on say 70 mph hwy travel
from Tempo between the times he was seen, tho I think like
with TX, he went West. I read back & saw Aunt Annie had
the same thought. Driving doesn’t take sophistication & appears
to be a tension releaser for him. Let’s hope he’s a trophy saver.
He ought to just beg for life w/o parole in exchange for the location.

Blink won’t say this but I will. Blink could have chosen to release info she obtained late last week that put Matthew living in the DC area at the time of the 05 Fairfax rape and she chose discretion and held it.
Police in Va., DC. Md. and Pa. have a lot of work to do. My fear is there are more missing than the ones we know about.
This likely explains Longo’s difficulty early on in constraining his frustration and anger. He probably had a preliminary DNA match and knew what he had on his hands but could not release it.

He comes from a broken environment, likely single parent. Probable parent or close relative incarcerated.
He has had other paraphillic tendencies and was caught, none of which has resulted in a criminal conviction substantative to be seen on his rap sheet or Juvie.
Socially, and likely professionally, he has positive subcutaneous relationships. You will not meet him, and expect to look in the backseat and see his rape kit. But he absolutely has one.
A wife or ex girlfriend suspects him, and when he is arrested, it will be learned he preformed rape/similar torturous fantasy in his relationships.
There are other victims that are afraid to come forward, or are not sure if he is “that guy”.

Well, here we are. After all this time, it’s especially chilling to look into his eyes (in the photographs). Now we’re face to face with the (likely) killer of at least two lovely girls. Heart-wrenching.
I think ,he thinks he has a level of sophiscated criminal, his preppy striped shirt, white pants(and in Fairfax) ,upscale French restaurant ..his job seeking ability, after murdering a girl and dumping her at anchorage farm amid national media ,he still has the confidence in himself to seek the football internship at a high school, his timing, did he want to be the legendary town spook. He has a facebook page .was he reading his own press on the internet, did he read here?

I saw mention of this name..Autumn Wind Day on another site. She went missing 7/2003 in Newport News probably at the time JLM was a student there. She went missing from a Food Lions.

They had found DNA on Harrington that also matched DNA they had from a 2005 sexual assault in Fairfax. So that should link JLM to at least 3 cases. Over 4 years between the ’05 Fairfax assault and 2009 Harrington murder. And 5 years between Harrington and this Graham case. All occurring in September.

I have always thought the Cassandra Morton murder was related to Morgan Harrington as well but I cannot recall if there was any DNA evidence in that case. And fwiw, I feel angry that this guy was not on anyone’s radar. If we can sit here on this blog for five years and determine the essential characteristics of Jesse Matthew, I fail to see how LE missed at least having him on a short list to gather DNA in a surveillance situation. How many charlottesville cab drivers look like the sketch, and attended red hill elementary, have a history of alleged sexual assault, etc? This was, as Blink said, a solvable case without Hannah Graham having to presumably lose her life. And I wonder about the degree to which surveillance footage was tracked down in 2009 for all of the businesses surrounding the jpj area….it did not matter that morgan harrington was not on there…it matters who was on there. I am curious if footage was gathered and preserved so they can go back now to see if he and/or his cab appears in the area on the night morgan was abducted.
dda- to your point that I can comment on- I feel you. Strongly. I have said for years this offender would be caught via another victim and it sickens me to be validated. I am on the professional teeter totter here to a degree- but VSP is not saying a word for now for a reason.

It’s unfortunate they couldn’t have napped him on the 2002 accusation, Morgan and others may still be here. He seems to commit crimes so close to a certain time of year, it makes one wonder what he did the other missing years. I hope he burns and proper balance is restored. The Harrington’s and other yet-to-be-known victims/families deserve it…
From what I understand, the victim decided she would not cooperate in the prosecution- but I do not know that particular sequence of events.

I sure hope this man’s family can persuade him to tell LE every single detail of any/all crimes he’s committed. I see there is now a site set up raising money for his defense. I believe it’s called “fundrazr”. I’d have a hard time contributing towards this gentle giant’s defense knowing this information. God bless the families of these young ladies.

The DNA matches and now we have at least two beautiful ladies that are getting justice. I would be willing to bet that he was driving a private limo the evening Morgan went missing.
Fox news is reporting that LE will begin to check for all missing girls since 2002 by checking JM whereabouts when they went missing.
I really think they need to go back at least 16 years. He was certainly big enough as a high school student to abduct and harm women.
It is too bad that LE cannot waterboard JM for more information. Maybe they can break him by good interrogation tactics. Put him in a cell like they did in Galveston with no clothes and little food until he begins to tell the truth.
Gill Harrington’s intuition was working a few days ago when she was on TV and mentioned the fact that Morgan’s shirt was found not far from where Jessie lived.
The next order of business should be make him tell LE where to find Hannah.
If JM is tied to the 2002 accusation at Liberty Univ., the 2005 assault in Fairfax, the 2009 rape and murder of MH and the disappearance of HG I would assume there are other victims. Blink, what would make an assault escalate to murder. Is it that the victim fought for her life, or maybe didn’t? I wonder what advice we give to young women. Also, HG appeared to be stumbling on videos, but not so “drunk she could barely walk” so again I am assuming he slipped something in her drink and she may have passed out. Would that enrage him further.
This whole UVA business has me worried for my college student and all of them really.
I am praying that HG is found and returned to her loving family, and for peace for the Harringtons and the Grahams.

KSCW- there definitely is and he is present- he just expects much of us on our own. Today, we know there is a predator behind bars. It is the start of reminding that there can be no complacency for our vulnerable-and there can be no complacency or want of “incoming leads” in a criminal investigation. Single biggest epic fail concept in traditional investigative units. And to be clear- really not their own faults- but that of teaching and resources.

About my earlier statement that the attacks were all in September, I had that wrong. But Sept/Oct which really illustrates the same point I was making. These occurred at the same time of year. I wasn’t aware of the 2002 case. I was referring to 2005, 2009, and this current case with Graham. So there are 4 different cases occurring same time of year Sept/Oct
Having not followed Morgan Harrington’s case I have spent a little time reading about it. Most touching to me is what Gil pens about her beloved daughter, her own journey into the dark recesses of human consciousness and willingness to write about it and make those writings public, and her fearlessness in doing so. I sense in her an abiding soulfulness and higher awareness and level of intelligence that endears her to me. I wish I knew Gil personally. What a lovely specimen of a woman.
In her writings I also find clues into the crime against a precious and beautiful young Morgan. I am heart broken at what Hannah may have suffered. I now also see why ‘hunting cams’ and woodsy outdoor areas are being searched. If Hannah was drugged by JM it would be hoped this may have lessened her suffering.
I have the sense that these two young women, unlike so many others, will not have died in vain. With Gil at the wheel there may be an actual culture shift regarding the safety of young women and how rape is perceived and dealt with on college campus’s.
Not withstanding the horror I know these ladies endured- I do believe strongly that their lives and deaths have Earthly purpose- and their Heavenly purpose leaves that behind.
I don’t know if that is true, but I believe it and if I did not, would need to choose another field.

So, I’m letting all this roll around in my noggin. There is DNA evidence linking Morgan to JLM, and DNA linking Morgan to Fairfax perp, but this is not necessarily the same DNA, maybe? Maybe there were multiple sets of DNA with Morgan? Ugh – if this guy had help, I’m going to lose it.

I never saw any follow-up about that (please forgive me if I missed something). Point being: if accurate, what was the guy doing THERE in the days immediately following Hannah’s disappearance?!?!?

I have two comments in moderation on the other thread, but FWIW, I think this guy had help or was a dupe for something bigger.
Also to mom 3.0, I believe Anchorage Farm is the same property that was Locust Hill, which was the property of the Lewis family. I could be wrong but I think that is accurate. If I were looking for Hannah I’d look on other the Lewis properties and eliminate them completely if possible.
Bottom line I’m sure LE has to be incredibly careful. I’ve read comments where it is indicated that the gentle giant is an innocent victim.

Coming from a county in Tennessee which has made news recently for having a backlog of 12,000 (no, that is unfortunately not a typo) untested rape kits, I have to wonder if such a situation exists in Virginia as well. If so there is no telling how many more crimes might be attributed to him in the end.
I haven’t been here in a while but I was in the beginning and I made a rock for MORGAN ROCKS and sent it to be on the bridge. I have been following but silently. I saw the Harringtons at the Salem Civic Center where they had an art show that I was in. I wanted to run and hug them and tell them how much I think of them and how my heart aches for them, but I had a customer and soon they were gone. Maybe they will read here and know that people ALL OVER and ALL AROUND them keep them in their prayers and thoughts . My heart is aching for Hannah’s parents. I am praying that she will be found soon.
Exciting news. It would appear that JLM is Sketch, although I never would have seen his appearance as a match to the sketches.
Unfortunately, unless LE has good evidence they have not publically released, there is not much evidence to link him to MH’s murder. I believe that LE’s initial statement on releasing the sketch was something along the lines that MH “at some time that night came in contact with” sketch. LE has a lot of work to do to take MH’s case to trial. It will take more than DNA on a shirt found miles away from the body to win a conviction.
Prosecution of the Fairfax case may be compromised if the victim is not available to testify.
If Hannah is not located, he may be sentenced to a lesser punishment than he deserves.
Hopefully, he confesses fully. If not, I hope that witnesses that have been too afraid to testify previously will come forward.
Hopefully, I am wrong and there is a lot of “secret” evidence of which we do not yet know. We do have the incorrect description by the white man on the street of a bald or close shaven black male with a slight beer belly. We also have the W&L sighting, which makes no sense since it is extremely unlikely that a person having seen the sketch released, would link it to a large man with dreadlocks. Maybe the white man was drunk and the W&L sighting was bogus. Maybe it was all misdirection and LE suspected the man with dreadlocks, but never had enough evidence to arrest him.
I have been trying to think of what to write. I am so very happy and utterly disgusted all in one. Happy for the Harrington’s, in that all their sorrow and hard-work in wondering who it was that stole Morgan away has come to an end. But I am terribly saddened for the realization of the Grahams today and what it has done for their hope.

practice field at that time of year…and may be sexually conflicted.
I don’t think it chance 2002 occurred at a school arena, probably after a workout
