Christine Sheddy Case:Murder In Maryland Chapter 2

Devil Went Down To Georgia Maryland Lookin For A Soul To Steal

Christine thought everybody was cool. She would say that all the time, So and So is cool. Q, their cool. Even if they weren’t, she did not really see it. I begged her not to go to Pocomoke. I think she was just tired and thought, she resigned herself sometimes that she would never get away from Levi. She was my best friend, I loved, love her.

– Jimmy Quail, “Q” Christines BFF.

Cultivating a Criminal Enterprise; now that is a feat. A family affair, you might say. Grab a Pen. Grab a moist towlette. Grab an adult beverage, I may need 2 chapters just for these introductions. In this one however, I am outlining the primary players in Christine’s case.

Tia and Clarence

TiaandwomenTia Theresa Lyn Johnson Weisenburg, daughter of Teresa Johnson and Stephen Johnson. Former wife of Shawn Weisenburg. Born of that marriage: son, Austin. Shortly after their separation, Tia files a paternity suit against Jerry Davison. She wins. Austin Weisenburg is in the custody of non babydaddy Shawn, currently. By all accounts, Shawn is a decent guy and Father. He had the sense to get a restraining order against “JR” for weed in his house.  Born later, father unknown, daughter Cierra, or CC. Tia is pictured 2nd from the left.

Christine Sheddy Case: Murder in Maryland Chapter I

To Love a Malignant Narcissist

No man is worth your tears and the one that is won’t make you cry – Brian Littrell

LevichrisChristine Sheddy was in love with Levi Hall before the Love American Style fireworks faded from her purview at fist sight. The problem was, she was dating Levi’s brother Stanley. Stanley beat up an 80 year old woman at an outlet store in Rehoboth Beach while stealing her purse. Out of the frying pan and into the inferno she lept.

In 2002 Christine secretly began dating Levi. At the time, Christine was dealing with the demands of being a single Mother to her two year old daughter Haylie, and living under the same roof as her Mom, after she had become a mom. Tough Stuff. Christines romantic relationship ended with Haylies dad Jim a few months earlier but they remained close friends.

IsaacWhen Christine became pregnant with the couples first son her family was floored. They had been told by Christine she and Levi were just friends; not the benefit kind. Isaac Hall was born May 1, 2003.

Levi, Isaac and Christine moved into Levis’ Mother, Joyce Halls’ home in Delaware. At the time, Haylies father was now battling cancer which did not have a good prognosis. The decision was made for Haylie to remain with the Dodenhoffs, Christine’s parents, to both stay close to her ailing Dad, and to keep her continuity.

Life at Hall House for the new family was anything but bliss. Joyce, or Mother Hall as Christine never called her, was a bit of a miser. She charged Levibugeyesthem most of what Levi made at his minimum wage job for rent and when that did not quite put her in the black, she took side jobs like charging Levi $10 a trip to take her to Walmart, which was one mile from her home. Lynn and Steve Dodenhoff opened their home to Christine, their new grandson, and Levi.

Murder in Maryland: Investigating the Disappearance of Christine Sheddy

A Blink on Location Exclusive

Pocomoke City, MD– Every once and a while, people ask me how I choose the cases I work on personally vs. some I may just “report on” with no direct involvement. I realized I never had a really good answer for that question because I was not sure myself. I have one now. I do not choose what cases I investigate directly. They choose me.

On Wednesday August 12, we launch the first Blink on Location Series. Behind the scenes is a team of researchers, interviewers and analysts, whose data will present this former cold case with exclusive inside information.

I call on you to join us in this interactive journey as we profile this case remotely and on scene. Help us bring Christine home.

What if it was your daughter, sister, best friend?

Tracy Ocasio Case: Breaking Developments Cast Doubts on Hataway – Explores Hutto Circle

Ocoee, FL– Tracy Ocasio has been missing since May 27th following an Tracy1evening at the Florida Tap Room where she was last seen with person of interest James “Jimmy” Hataway. In the initial days of the investigation, there were multiple reports that Hataway was a suspect in Ocasio’s disappearance, a suspect in the disappearance of Apopka man Onda “Chris” George, and as many as 5 other assaults on women.

To date, only one of those allegations has resulted in new charges against Hataway. In Seminole County, Hataway is facing charges for his alleged assault against Rachel Clarke, 23, for a Casselberry, FL incident  last August. Rachel Hataway is charged with Burglary of a conveyance with a battery, robbery, false imprisonment and battery. Uncovered exclusively at blinkoncrime.com, there is new inside information on this pending case. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, Jimmy Hataways’ closest friend told blinkoncrime police actually entered the residence he shared with Hataway shortly after the incident and cuffed him, thinking he was Jimmy. Once it was determined he was not and that he did not know his immediate whereabouts, police left the home.

Although they continued to reside in the same location for another 2 1/2 months and police had Hataways cell phone number, police never contacted Jimmy Hataway about the alleged incident. They did not interview the roommate either. In the almost 10 months following the alleged battery against Rachel Clarke, investigators never interviewed the suspect in a case which now carries a bond of $250K and a lengthy prison stint if convicted.

Other than Jimmy and Ms. Clarke, there is only one other known witness in this case whom LE also elected not to interview until after Hataway was arrested on the paraphanalia charge in Orange County. Where did they find this prospective witness almost 10 months later? Across the Pod from Jimmy Hataway in the Seminole County Jail; he is attempting to cut a deal to get out of charges stemming from his chronic crack cocaine addiction.
