Casey/Caylee Anthony Case : Death Penalty Back On
Orlando, FL- Late this afternoon, the State’s Attorney’s Office notified Jose Baez, attorney for tot mom Casey Anthony, they intend to seek the death penalty. Prior to Caylee Marie Anthony’s remains found on December 11. 2008, the state had decided not to seek the death penalty 6 days earlier. In the state of Florida, the legal aggravating circumstances that would apply in this case would be that the murder was cruel and atrocious and cold, calculated and premeditated.

The decision of the prosecution to reverse it’s original stance in their murder indictment against Casey Anthony for the death of her 34 month old daughter Caylee, is the latest in what seemed like rapid fire developments over the Holiday weekend. Jose Baez is not a death penalty qualified attorney and he cannot defend this case without one.
On Friday afternoon, Jose Baez filed a motion to subpoena the phone records and similar provider records of the members of the Anthony family, Dominick Casey, Jim Hoover, Roy Kronk, Amy Huzienga, Jesse Grund and Keith Williams. It is widely believed this information is exactly what Jose Baez was attemtpting to secure in his ex parte motion to Judge Stan Strickland, which consequently, may have gotten Baez his most recent bar complaint. A source close to the case has confirmed to Blink on Crime that this motion is much more about accessing ping records for these individuals than the actual records, which cannot be requested without a subpoena. (editors note: I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so. Baez is going to need a bigger bus for the pileup if you catch my drift..)

If Lady Oprah is not careful, that big O may end up standing for obsolete. It was revealed today that George and Cindy Anthony will be appearing on her show this May. As Oprah is not known for her investigative prowess or criminal case coverage, one has to assume this will turn into the crab- puff piece and pity party the A’s are intending.

Last Thursday, April 9, George and Cindy sat down for a chit chat with Team Morgan. Well, not exactly. They tag-team glared, objected as to relevance and amazingly seemed to avoid lock jaw in what was apparently a very warm conference room. In both interviews, George and Cindy refused to answer several questions on what seemed to be the “indignation to our controlled spin” objection. In this proceeding, the only viable objection on behalf of their attorney, Brad Conway, is privlege. As their IS NO CURRENT OR PENDING CHARGES against these two, not even that boat will float. Expect John Morgan and Co. to file a motion to compel the Anthony’s to return to the suspended deposition. With any luck they will repeat this behavior and one or both of them will spend the night in the pokey in contempt just for the principle to the proceeding. Normally I provide you with all the necesary files to access the video/audio to which I am referring; allow me to save you the throbbing headache and new profane vocabulary conjunctions that have since become an occupational hazard for me in this case, see below.
The Hi-lights: George was a deputy. Deputy George was never a detective, but he is a very bad speller and likes to ask himself his own questions out loud. For the first time ever I had a ping of respect for him when he shouted at Cindy to ..”SHUT UP…SHUT UP…”. He has a very poor memory and apparently has never watched any of the gazillion statements recorded and released to the public that any pre-LSAT clerk could draft an impeachment for. Yeesh.
Cindy, with a day off from sh*t house rat but still reigning mayor of crazy town, wore her finest shamrock -hued sweater and matching belt. She is out of anti- perspirant. While blatantly refusing to answer the simplest of questions, she attempts the “I am going to annoy the living snot out of you until you call Uncle” ploy. It failed. Cindy has similar memory disorder to George. John Morgan finds Attorney Dell in the men’s room with a makeshift shank about to do himself in, Morgan takes over questioning. I heart-heart him. 
Response from the Frequent Non- Responder
In reports released Friday, Richard Cain, the deputy that responded to the call placed by Roy Kronk on August 13th to Suburban Drive, was terminated from his duties. Not if he can help it. Mr. Cain has apparently recovered from lack of responding and is now more responsive; albeit in matters about him. Cain is refusing his termination for cause and appealing the decision.

I want to know if Cain knew Casey or any Anthony. Was he just a lazy cop? He is appealing his dismissal. I hope they drag that out. I want RK to be squeaky clean, but I have my doubts. Everyone touched by this case has been tarnished Oprah will experience the same outcome. How can you promote a Foundation for missing children when the child was murdered by the daughter of the founders. And the founders realized the child was dead before they started looking for her. They smelled their dead grandchild in the trunk of the car on the 15th of June. The Cayllee Marie Foundation. google it to see its founders.

But as a Florida resident I would love to know how much the show is paying Cindy & George so that they can pay the state pay for expenses we incurred in this case.. LOL
Anna, there’s another thing that really bothers me about the description of Zenaida as a 10. That description came from Casey, so who in their right mind would believe she was giving a correct description, anyway? I really wish one of Zenaida’s attorneys would have said that during the deposition (which was 10 shades of ridiculous, by the way, and made the Anthony’s look like petulant brats throwing a tantrum.) For all we know, Casey will change her mind at trial and say Zenaida was 4 feet tall with a hunch back and long yellow fangs.
Why can’t the Anthony’s understand that, yes, the Zenaida that is suing their daughter has a very legitimate gripe? She has a connection to Sawgrass Apartments, which is enough to convict her in the minds of masses of people who don’t research the case the way we sleuthers like to do. There are plenty of (crazy) people who still think Casey might be innocent. Be honest, wouldn’t you raise your eyebrows just a bit if somebody applied for a job at your place of business with any form of the name Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzales?
Contact Oprah & tell her not to broadcast the Anthony’s segment which will further spread their lies in an attempt to cover-up for Casey’s murder of Caylee. John Morgan said it best…what we are seeing with the Oprah Show is the beginning of (THE ANTHONY’S ALIBI TOUR).
I don’t watch Oprah because she panders to criminals like the Anthony’s. But she doesn’t know that so I threatened to boycott the Oprah Show if she airs the Anthony segment in May.

She lost her job, her apt., had been getting death threats and she and her children are living in a shelter, while the Anthonys are living off the selling of Caylee’s pictures. George is such an insincere wind bag telling the “real and only” Zaneida that he wanted to shake her hand at the end of the depo, but then proceeded in rip into her. I do not know if I can stomach a 2nd. depo from him.

I pointed out that they are material witnesses in the upcoming trial and their statements to both local law enforcement and the FBI have been inconsistent and likewise with their many public appearances.

This child was never missing– mom knew where she was, all the time and that means she was not missing. They are just using this foundation also, to propagate the ‘missing myth’ along with ‘my caylee is missing’ and the months of fooling the public when they knew well and good, their daughter, mother of the child was the last one with her and that she had the answers.
I think the Anthony’s may have made a critical mistake in their tactics to defend their daughter, last week with their attack on Zenaida and her lawyers with such outrageous behaviour tactics to control the depositions.
Now, Casey facing the death sentence, the parents (her family) should be more controlled, not attack innocent people like Zenaida in the process, and act like supportive but reasonable parents of a daughter facing very serious charges and consequences. Making Casey look guilty by their irrational outbursts and obnoxious behaviour, won’t help Casey should she face a sentencing phase. The jury should have sympathy and compassion for the family of the accused, not what the Anthony’s are presenting of themselves.

And going on Oprah, they may wish to rethink now after this week’s announcments. With the trial likely delayed many months past the set date, the public the Anthony’s are playing to, will have forgotten much of what is on Oprah. Let’s just boycott Oprah or ask her to think about this– if she were to have the parents of Melissa Huckaby on her show, to promote the innocence of their daughter, to accuse innocent people, shift blame, what would that look like, with suffering grandparents and parents of Sandra out there. Why is it different because Caylee has NO ONE out there to represent ‘her’ without this conflict of interest that George and Cindy and Lee have, for the accused killer. It’s ok because they are the family of the victim?? Oprah needs to think this one through, seriously.

Ok, never done this before, but I joined the Oprah ‘Community’ and gave my thoughts– synopsis, would Oprah have the parents of (for a good example) Melissa Huckabey on to use the national media forum for promoting the innocence of their daughter, also a young mother like Casey. Would Oprah do this to fly in the face of the loving grandparents who were raising their granddaughter and who trusted their church, the pastor and their granddaughter? (I think Not!) What is different for Caylee, is that her other grandparents were never given the chance to love the child and so they are not able to speak for Caylee and ONLY Caylee. (and we do not really know that they aren’t suffering– the investigation might have solved that– there may be family to be Caylee’s voice revealed in time).
I was not so succinct as one other post that summed it all up with a bit of tongue in cheek though– that person said it all in the words of CA…. “a waste, HUGE waste”.

Called the Congressman office and explained the fraudulant title Caylees Missing statement. The Grandparents knew Caylee was dead on the 15th of July. George testified for the Grand jury. Told his office staff that everyone knew that the Child was dead on the 15th when the Grandmother said the car smells like a dead body was in it. Caylee was never missing. Just think that Caylee was NEVER missing, so the myth is propagated by this Foundation for missing children that ‘Caylee’ was kidnapped by someone else to support the defense theories or Casey’s innocence position. Caylee is thought to have met her demise while in the presence of her mother– that is not missing.
Cindy Anthony set up her own video camera on the lawyers in their April 9 depositions. Review Cindy’s deposition near the end, see how she’s working her point that the lawyers are making asses of themselves and they are caught ‘going there’ into dangerous ‘perjury’ and defamation territory. And there was also the threat by Cindy that if anyone touched her (maybe she wanted that) to help ‘mike up’, that would be caught on camera.
That’s perfect ‘exclusive’ footage, hours and hours of Zenaida’s lawyers. Great way for Cindy to get back at Zenaida and her lawyers by having her own private video to sell the rights to the highest bidder with the biggest on-air audience. Who would that be, but Oprah??

I think the more people that protest to Oprah about the Anthony’s appearance on her show the more she ‘will’ have them on.. Oprah knows this will spike her ratings anyway and she is all about the ratings.. But I protested the Anthony appearance anyway and I’m not an Oprah viewer..
hi, ok i just read a comment on another blog that dna testing revealed that an uncle could be caylee’s father and the commenter suggested that maybe cindy slept w/ georges brother and casey was the product and george maybe is casey’s uncle not father a stretch but not impossible more possible if an uncle of casey’s is the father of caylee would be rick cindy’;s brother and thats why rick was concerned w/casey being preg and why they told him no she wasnt preg

Over 400 negative comments on Oprah’s decision to to have the Anthonys on her show. Most of the comments are very percise and well writen. My initial comment was removed and I can’t find my Topic listed LOL. So I just wrote two more.
Yes Pat I agree with you. But then again Caylee needs a voice. The dead can’t call foul, but we can do that for her. At least we will know we tried to provide the information and Oprah will not be able to say Oh I didn’t know.

sorry excuse for a man. I could accept his behavior if he were simply
non-involved, letting Justice take its course, but instead he has
mocked the memory of poor Caylee by AIDING HER KILLER’S DEFENSE.

Spritey, that was the argument for a ‘conviction’ phase so to argue against putting the DP on the table. They were giving a ‘what if’ scenario and saying that ‘even if’ she is found guilty, she fits a category that does not deserve the death penalty.
Anyway, Todd Mac is Bac!!! Judge Strickland just OK’d his application to practice law in Florida, and had no issues about the California bar complaint as pending.
Todd says he believes Casey is innocent so are they going to make that position in trial? Will Florida help pay Todd’s bills for airplane fuel and his trial participation, research costs?
And also, Lenamon’s statement about Casey directly, her mental condition, stress etc, and his statement about her lack of emotion since her child was missing, is not ‘normal’, and her being a mother of the victim (guess vs stranger, family member, father etc) is mitigating.
Whatever Lenamon’s purpose was, it’s OPPOSITION to the position Todd Macaluso and Baez take, that is to ‘prove innocent’. So if they go the ‘innocent’ route, they won’t need mitigating factors to her participation in the death of Caylee because she is not involved at all, vs not guilty because of Lenamon’s position statements.
Hey maybe Oprah is going to call them out?! Like what she did with that author.

My new theory, after all this time, and with all their extraordinary resources, and with all their due diligence in getting to the truth, and with all their profound hatred for LE, et al — I bet they found her and are hiding her out on the SS Caylee Marie and will drop this “bombshell” at trial. AS CAYLEE is alone in the dark, God knows where, SHE draws her last breaths knowing she has been ABANDONED to DIE by herself in the coldest, loneliest PLACE in the world. As her spirit leaves her tortured BODY, she leaves KNOWING she will never play again or FEEL LOVED/ AFTER spending several DAYS stuffed in a trash (or laundry) BAG in the trunk of her mother’s car == she is eventually thrown INTO cold, soggy ground with snakes, critters, insects of EVERY variety climbing over and around HER decomposing BODY.
ALONG with an UNCONTESTED MOUNTAIN of forensic evidence processed by the FBI and Oakridge Tennessee state of the art LABS …EVERY CENTILLA OF EVIDENCE relates DIRECTLY TO CASEY ANTHONY.
THE LATEST EVIDENCE: Casey’s shoes THAT WERE left IN HER CAR (the DEATH CAR). WHEN her mother, CINDY first saw the car after it was towed FROM AMSCOT … EVERY MEMBER of the Anthony family ADMITTED SMELLING “a decomposing body” THE DEATH SMELL in that car! The man who towed the car FROM AMSCOT to his tow yard –had recently had ANOTHER DEAD BODY in a car he towed. HE SWORE (under oath) in a deposition that HE TOO, “smelled the DEATH SMELL” in Casey’s car THAT was the exact SAME SMELL he recognized FROM TOWING ANOTHER DEATH CAR.
CASEY’S SHOES: tucked under the seat, which is WHY Cindy did NOT see them when she REMOVED the clothes Casey had been wearing that: ([PER CINDY taped statement to cops) ALSO SMELLED LIKE DEATH -=- which is WHY Cindy says SHE WASHED THEM TO REMOVE THE DEATH SMELL. THUS, DESTROYING EVIDENCE.
THAT ASIDE, the SHOES Cindy did NOT SEE were taken out of the DEATH CAR by forensic experts & THE DNA inside the shoes WAS EXCLUSIVELY CASEY ANTHONY’S. (So NOBODY wore the shoes EXCEPT CASEY).
MOST RECENT NEWS: FBI FOUND CAYLEE’S DECOMPOSING BODY DNA on the OUTSIDE OF Casey’s shoes. NOT Caylee’s regular old DNA==which would be EXPECTED to be on Casey’s shoes. BUT: IT was specifically CAYLEE’S DECOMPOSING BODY DNA.
As if THE DECOMPOSED BODY DNA wasn’t ENOUGH: they ALSO FOUND DIRT & INSECT “residue” THAT CAME FROM THE CHILDHOOD PET CEMETERY (where Casey buried all her pets) AND WHERE CAYLEE’s SKELETAL REMAINS were found. ERGO: WHY the state brought in ALL THOSE BIOLOGISTS, INSECT EXPERTS, DIRT SPECIALISTS,

THE ENTIRE ANTHONY FAMILY INITIALLY ADMITTED the TRUTH of the death smell, Casey’s NON-EXISTENT NANNY no one ever talked TO or SAW, ETC RATHER THAN supporting Casey with everything in their POWER –AND FORCING HER to admit the truth of what happened. ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF THE COUNTLESS WAYS that THE ANTHONY’S have EXPLOITED THEIR tortured and murdered (AND DISCARDED like garbage)…. precious Caylee.

Did the Anthonys have to put gas in the car at the tow yard before they drove it home to clean it and help hide the evidence of the death of their granddaughter? If they didnt put gas in it, it proves that Casey abandoned the car instead of “running out of gas”. And if George wanted someone present when he opened the trunk, why didnt he alert Law Enforcement? If the towyard worker knew the smell of death that emmanated from the car, why didnt he alert authorities?

Here is an interesting viewpoint on ‘the Adam’s Family’ (aka Anthony Family) and the theory that possibly the family wants to show support for Casey and at the same time, make sure that she does NOT plead and tell all about the family and it’s secrets. Aaw Greg. We have been approached for “something else”. I think for us one of the things we are trying to accomplish is to NOT be a news outlet that reports half truths or old information. I am serious when I say in some cases the data is 48-72 hours old by the time it hits MSM. Subject to change, but our direction may be more “realtime” to bridge the gap between people watching the news, and real time data streaming from the scene, with the kind of investigative facts and background you have come to expect. Think 48 hours/Dateline but with facts as they unfold.
Personally, I think the blogging and “sleuthing” community has some of the strongest resources there are..
