Caylee/Casey Anthony Case Bombshell: Proof George Anthony Lied

Orlando, FL– In a bombshell released in discovery today, evidence George Anthony could not have been telling the truth about June 16th.; allegedly the last time he saw Casey and Caylee leave:

CellJune16sm

According to the Investigative Report Excerpt regarding the Cell phone ping study, Casey did not leave the Anthony home until 4:14PM on June 16th. Not the 12:50PM time he told Investigators and recounted in several media interviews. Most recently, George refused to discuss the last time he saw his granddaughter Caylee during the deposition in the civil case against his daughter, lodged by Zenaida Gonzalez.

Given the previously released computer forensics, whereby we know Casey was on the home computer on an IM chat in the morning this supports the fact she was in the home, and as the calls begin on Casey’s cell, she is leaving the residence.

SO.. Could it be George who never came home the evening of June 15th? Did Casey leave her cell phone there the evening before and come back? Impossible. She was on it.

Message to Leonard: This makes one more.. LOL.. Told You.

Hi Deb, good thoughts on that– but a couple of just ideas, Casey was good at remembering phone area codes, if Tony’s area code was different (ie: maybe his cell phone number from NY?), Casey would know this. And make the mistake one time, but twice when she got voicemail and left a message for Chris?

Maybe there was another phone call ‘home’ or another part of her call redacted, that asked for Chris’s number. Maybe someone suggested to her, to call Chris. We don’t hear anything about Chris in the documents or communications released, suggesting the same suspicions as for Jesse, Rico or maybe even Tony. That doesn’t mean there were not any.

Casey was controlling information all along and anyone Casey brought in, was brought in for a reason, and every offer of help or help she gave to anyone, was for a reason to benefit Casey.

Surely Casey wasn’t calling Chris for a shoulder to cry on with no strings attached.

And, I tend to think that by the time he interviewed CS, YM was well aware of the swim-gear, hair clips etc in that bag returned to Cindy by Stutz. Look at how he questions Chris, ‘anything else in the bag??’. No, Melich does not bring up the subject to Chris– he asked ‘anything else you can recall’ question, offering Chris a chance to add more, and he does– voluntarily brings up the bag of swim stuff. He doesn’t go into detail, YM gives him the chance with ‘anything else?’. JMHO

VeLoWoodson, recall that IF casey had a ZG ID (and that’s a big if), it was in her purse that got towed away from Amscot and impounded at Johnson’s at the time she was stealing Amy’s checks, otherwise it would have been a much better plan. So she must have had a duplicate/alternate Casey ID that she used to write the check to herself, stupidly signing her own name (oops).

A Pattern of Failing to Communicate (Hide) Relevant Information to LE (for the purpose of locating Caylee/determining what happened to her:

Per Jim Hoover’s ZFG civil case deposition, Cindy & George Anthony’s Pivate Investigator, Dominic Casey, believed that Caylee was alive. Until November 15, 2008, that is.

It was on this date that P.I. Dominic Casey phoned Hoover (who was voluntarily assisting the Anthonys as a body guard/personal assistant of sorts–did this guy answer that crazy ad for a “Personal Assistant”?! I mean, he sure fits the bill–bodyguard/driver/food runner/gofer/errand boy/alibi accomplice/etc) and requested him to come to Dominic’s business office for a meeting.

Inside the office, the mood was somber. Dominic told Hoover that Caylee was DEAD. Not that a somewhat less than trustworthy tipster said that Caylee was dead and so she MIGHT be dead. No. He was somehow certain that Caylee was dead. They had to go to a wooded location, just around the block from the Anthony home, to go and find her body.

The source of the tip, he would not reveal.

The two of them drove to Suburban, parked just across from the area where Caylee’s remains were ultimately discovered less than a month later. Dominic was on the phone a number of times with the tipster (or some “psychic” minion of the “tipster”, or some dupe of the “tipster”), and poked around in the woods.

**Neither P.I. Dominic Casey nor Cindy and/or George Anthony alerted OCSO/FBI of this tip by November 15, 2008 and/or up until the date that Caylee’s remains were located in the same location/vicinity (the wooded area by Hidden Oaks Elementary).

*****this gets a full 5 FISHYs award*****

    Why 5 full FISHYs??

    Well…

As we know, a videotape of the November 15, 2008 “search” surfaced, thanks to Hoover. This led to the interview of P.I. Casey.

Dominic Casey was questioned about where he received tips to search for Caylee. He said 99.9% came through Cindy & George via the tip line, etc. (He neglected to tell them the precise source of the .1%, the only REAL tip).

When questioned whether he turned over all tips to LE, he said, only the “credible” tips.

Who, he was asked, made the determination as to whether a tip was “credible”?

Of course. Dominic, CINDY & George.

It was pointed out to him that what he had forwarded to OCSO was actually the contrary, i.e. highly INcredible tips. (Such as,…oh.. a LIVE CAYLEE sighting at the Florida Mall (because, yeah, a kidnapper would take the kid to a well-populated, public place when all of Orlando/most of the United States was aware that she was “missing”/”kidnapped”, or alternatively, because, yeah… Caylee would somehow be able at age 3 to get there on her own–AHEM. Good thing Cindy OKed that one to be sent to OCSO. Yep. That’s a great way to spend taxpayer dollars, sending detectives on wild goose chases).

And his reason for failing to alert OCSO of the tip that Caylee was dead/he body in the woods by Hidden Oaks Elementary (the only tip, by his own admission, of a DEAD Caylee)?? He says it wasn’t “credible” (even though he went to the location on 3 separate occasions to just make sure that this tip was not truly “credible”)(even though this is where her remains were located a mere 3.5 wks later).

Just like the bag of Caylee’s swim/hair items that Chris brought to the house, here is another fine example of the level of cooperation Cindy was providing to LE.

    Tomato, Tomahhhhto… Cooperation, Obstruction….
Let’s call the whole thing off.

Debbie Bennett said Cindy was rattled when she got home some evening during the week of June 16 and found the gate open and the pool ladder up. When the shed was broken into the following week (discovered on Tuesday morning), she definitely (according to Debbie) thought someone had been getting into the Anthony backyard. I think that is why they decided to file an official police report.

Is not from Casey. It’s from Amy. Amy and Troy rented a house together in Oviedo. They both found out in May that the house was being sold. THat’s when Casey claimed to be buying a house of her own, and Amy believed she would be moving into Hopespring in June.

On June 6, Amy got into an accident and totalled her car. Around June 7, Amy had to vacate the Oviedo house, and she temporarily moved in with Ricardo and JP until she could move into Hopespring. Amy bought a new (used) car on June 13.

The insurance paperwork she mentioned to Troy was the paperwork relating to her accident.

I remember listening to CA’s August 1rst interview and hearing Yuri’s complete exasperation when CA casually mentioned that someone (she wasn’t sure who) had brought over a bag of Caylee’s swim things over when they had a get-together with “the kids”. You could tell that he was flabbergasted and that it was the first time he had heard about it! This – after CA and GA had both set forth the possibility of an accident in the pool (ladder up) etc…I was very surprised that Chris hadn’t mentioned it in his interview and thought initially that mention of this had perhaps been redacted but by August 1rst, when Yuri heard it from CA, it certainly didn’t sound like he had heard about it!

I really can’t see how “accident” can work its way in now by the defense. The rules get to change because Baez and Casey say they can? Will they, after all other defense options are gone, they will cry out, “okay, okay, I did it…but it was an accident, and I was SCARED to say anything”. Ofcourse, how can anything be an “accident” if there’s an extensive cover-up, which Casey obviously spent more time doing than actually “looking” for the “missing” Caylee

I dont think casey had tony’s number memorized remember she casey called her mom and asked her to have lee get tonys phone number for her. she didnt have it memorized.

  23. Kleat says:

Todd, right, Casey would have some explaining to do and it would have to be believable, like ‘duct tape’, sticker heart residue, garbage double bagging, carrying Caylee around decomposing, pointing fingers at Jesse and others, how she knew the child was actually dead at the moment of the accident and why not dial 911 when she had access to a phone, or call on a neighbour for help like she did for borrowing a shovel, explain where, when, how, accident occurred and what happened to Caylee physically (and does everything fit with common sense and medical opinion), explain her ‘fear’ of threats, explain stealing from Amy, the bank, her grandmother— ie: she was stealing ‘before’, not ‘because’ Caylee had an accident.

And any behaviour explainations like ‘ugly coping’ have to fit with her behaviour in jail in subsequent months and if this continues to be ‘ugly’ as a coping mechanism, when normally the coping would turn into grief at some point and not be sustained. (heard that IIRC)

Baez knows that accident won’t work unless he can pin it on parents, but then when did Casey ever show any concern for parents, grandparents to protect any family by taking ‘the heat’ in jail.

    Julie- #566 re: 535
Good point. Also, she would have been on videotape at the bank posing as ZFG.
Per NL, Lee told Tony & roommates that Casey was a “pro” at passing bad checks. She knew that cashing Amy’s checks would come back to her; she just figured that, like all others in the past who forgave her (e.g. Cindy, Lee, Jesse, Sean), she would, again, talk her way out of it/be forgiven by Amy. My goodness- look at Amy’s side of the text messages that were just released. Amy bought all of Casey’s other lies–about the house; the $400 sleepwalking incident; the mini-stroke keeping her from accompanying Amy to J-Ville, etc.

But she also had to know that bank’s have cameras focused on the tellers. Who hasn’t seen a bank robbery replayed from that view on local news. She couldn’t risk “being” ZFG there.

Casey didn’t call the Anthony house during the flurry of calls from 4:00 to 5:00pm.

During that first wave, she called

the Lexus dealership twice (where George was working, I understand); the first call was 34 seconds and the second was 98 seconds,

Cindy’s cell phone five times, never getting through twice, and hanging on for 2 or 3 seconds three times,

Jesse Grund twice (she couldn’t reach him the first time, and the second time she spoke to him or left a message for 75 seconds, and

Tony Lazzaro once for 98 seconds.

    ***

Her second wave of calls was after 6:30pm until around 7:10pm, and she called

Cindy’s cell phone for 0 and 3 seconds,

the Anthony landline for 17 seconds, and

the Anthony landline for 83 seconds.

    ***

She never called George’s cell phone, which may or may not be significant.

  30. Marcy says:

#572, Todd ~ Baez & his cronies can flout the “accident” defense all they like; it will never fly. Anyone observing Casey’s behavior for more than two minutes would realize that, had Caylee’s death been an accident, Casey would have been milking the grieving mother role for all it was worth.

An accidental death would crown Casey with the glory of sympathy & pity. People would fall all over themselves to try to help her. She could become a minor celebrity in her circle, a madonna of sorrow.

(Please understand, I mean no disrespect to anyone her who has lost a child. There could not be a worse horror than that. I just want to convey that Casey, in all her theatricality, would relish the role. Like a so-called black widow, “in a backwards sort of way.”)

So if an accident is what Baez has in mind, let him go ahead with it. No jury is that stupid, with the exception of the jury that decided the OJ Simpson verdict. Although that verdict was politically motivated.

  31. myers says:

Suz…. I am sure that is exactly how the phone call went, but I would really like to know why not accept it if he did not do anything wrong. I am just curious to what she would have said to him as is everyone else. Kleat I feel is on to something with her trying to reel him in.

  35. Carolyn S from Maryland says:

I wonder if anyone else noticed this:
In George’s recitation of the gas can incident to Scott Bolin
    (pg 39 starting line 14)
George says” And we’d been told by neighbors and also home association that there’s been other gas thefts in our neighborhood. Whether or not that true or not I don’t I’m just verbally was told that.”
Hmmmmmmm. Other gas thefts? I wonder if that Is true, and could Casey have been responsible for those thefts, too? George’s shed was locked because of Caylee. Maybe it was a lot easier to steal the neighbor’s gas.
I do wonder what she told Tony to get him to help her since it involved breaking a lock.

  36. Kleat says:

Carolyn S, that would be interesting to know, that is, if anyone actually filed a complaint. George knew who did this, and he probably kicks himself for putting his foot down with Casey finally. Of course, he never followed through, she manipulates by just returning the cans when challenged, like she paid Amy back a year late for her check fraud– sweep the problem away if you get caught.

The reason why I said in my comments way earlier that Casey didn’t ‘talk’ to anybody during that whole afternoon on the 16th is that cell phone call times are registered in 6 second increments. The first 6 seconds are not accrued in the call time until there is an ‘answering event’ so any call that connects either to a voicemail or somebody actually answering and saying ‘hello’ isn’t counted until it reaches the first 6 second interval. Casey was IMO just trying to see if anybody was home. I think she left Caylee’s body in the backyard somewhere during the night of the 15th/16th and went back to put her in the trunk when nobody was home in the afternoon. That would mean one would have to assume that George didn’t actually see them on the 16th though. I don’t think ‘lil Caylee was harmed during the day – I think it was after midnight on the 16th – during the night. Of course this is all MOO.

    Hi Blink,

I have been reading your site for a while and have commented maybe once before and I have to say that I really enjoy the wonderful information and the insight of everyone here, great job!
Casey Anthony reminds me so much of Diane Downs who I believe received the death penalty. I read about her in a true crime book 20 years ago by Ann Rule. It is absolutely chilling how these two mirror each other. Diane Downs shot her three children who were “in the way” of her lifestyle. Two of her children survived and one did die of the gunshot wound. What got me to thinking about her was when I saw that they are focusing alot lately on KC’s tattoo. I know it’s probably a long shot but as I looked at the picture of it yesterday I noticed the three stars around the “Bella Vita” Do you suppose that is some sick way of memorializing Caylee since she was turning three years old? I remember George and Cindy Anthony in separate interviews talk about how Caylee loved to see the stars every night before going to bed. Which brings me to Diane Downs because she had a unicorn statue engraved with the names of her three children and the date they were supposed to die before they were shot, somewhat like a memorial. Diane Downs spoke about how a “bushy haired stranger” waved her down on the side of the road and reached in and shot her children while of course she received only non-life threatening injuries. When she finally got away from the “bushy haired stranger” she drove her dying children to the hospital at the rate of 5mph. The hospital staff said her demeanor was “icy”, “stoic” and “too accepting” instead of “hysterical.” When they finally informed her that her son was going to make it, her reply was “You mean the bullet missed his heart?” “Gee Whiz!” How cold and calleous these so called mothers are! Diane Downs had a love interest at the time that did not want children. I just find it so weird how these two women have these figments of their imagination are so off the wall, “Zanny the nanny” and “the bushy haired stranger”, and both just happen to be untraceable! Who knows maybe the bushy haired stranger is “zanny the nanny’s brother!” lol I guess in their wicked and evil minds anything is possible. Thanks for listening to my silly rants.
