Caylee/Casey Anthony Case Bombshell: Proof George Anthony Lied

Orlando, FL– In a bombshell released in discovery today, evidence George Anthony could not have been telling the truth about June 16th.; allegedly the last time he saw Casey and Caylee leave:

CellJune16sm

According to the Investigative Report Excerpt regarding the Cell phone ping study, Casey did not leave the Anthony home until 4:14PM on June 16th. Not the 12:50PM time he told Investigators and recounted in several media interviews. Most recently, George refused to discuss the last time he saw his granddaughter Caylee during the deposition in the civil case against his daughter, lodged by Zenaida Gonzalez.

Given the previously released computer forensics, whereby we know Casey was on the home computer on an IM chat in the morning this supports the fact she was in the home, and as the calls begin on Casey’s cell, she is leaving the residence.

SO.. Could it be George who never came home the evening of June 15th? Did Casey leave her cell phone there the evening before and come back? Impossible. She was on it.

Message to Leonard: This makes one more.. LOL.. Told You.

Hi, Im new to this site as far as posting, but im always keeping up on your opinons on the many cases on here.
    Caylee’s being my #1.
I think as far as this scenerio goes…
George DID lie about the timing (although I dont know why)
My reasoning, they are saying Casey’s phone pinged in the “Anthony home” or within “one mile”. -Interesting to note, she made that flurry of calls around that time to Cindy, George, I even believe to her ex.
If I have the dates correct, then this is how it went.
But what events were happening within that time???
I believe Casey & Caylee were at home until 4:14, when the movement began…She was calling her parents because something happened at the house with Caylee when the two of them were alone there.
Maybe she was just checking when they would be BACK from wherever they WENT, she wanted to know how much time she had…
No answers, so she put Caylee in her trunk and went to Tony’s.

Cindy Anthony apparently thinks she’s a mob boss. After listening to the tape of Cindy’s message to Tim Miller, that is the only conclusion I can make. She tells Tim, “Do not cross the Anthonys. Do not fight me on this; I will win.”

She should have made Tim an offer he couldn’t refuse. Sheesh!

  8. Kleat says:

tossing this out there, given Casey’s apparent ‘setting the stage’ for something in the future, like owning the Anthony home ‘in her own name’.

There’s such a thing as title fraud, where a home’s title is fraudulently put into another person’s name– sorry!– you no longer are on title! Could Casey have known about this, she knew well how to do cheque fraud with a great deal of ease, both in person and otherwise by routing numbers.

She was preparing a story for some reason, maybe more than to simply lure Amy further into the ‘psychopathic bond’ to perpeptuate her own private Amy cash machine a bit longer.

    Jurisdictional issue.

Miller is an out-of-state, non-party (potential witness). There are jurisdictional limits on the State courts. (cannot compel/issue subpoena)

What does the fact that the first two Motions to Compel Miller/Equusearch documents filed by Baez tell you about Baez? (not to mention the fact that they were, on their face, overly broad/unduly burdensome/harrassing/vexatious/etc. Mere fishing expeditions. (as is any Motion on this issue, IMO)

I can’t begin to predict how Baez et al would seek to treat Miller in the witness box. I think it’s obvious that their aim here is to show the jury that Equuseach volunteers had access to and searched the location where Caylee’s remains were finally discovered, and either a) found nothing, because she wasn’t there yet, or b)that someone who volunteered is the person who placed her there.

If he is certified as a witness, and they call him to testiy, they would be very foolish to attack him, even if he appeared to be hostile to them, IMO. The man has an impeccable reputation, and for good and obvious reasons. They can establish what they need to without being even the slightest bit of disrespect toward this man.

  17. j.g. says:

Silver, a few things about George that I have questioned. One red flag on George came from his own son’s mouth. I’m not going back to watch the secret video taping in Tony’s car, but in answer to one of Tony’s questions about Casey…..seem’s like its after Lee went in Subway to the bathroom….remember Tony got a quick phone call (evidently from LE directing him to question Lee about something). It’s worth rewatching, I have watched it several times. Lee, in his long round about way describing his sister’s lying/stealing/psyche…states that Casey & George are just alike.

We have heard bits & pieces referenced to George & Casey having a long history of not getting along; references made by many even childhood close friends. Yet, I don’t recall reading one incident where specifics are mentioned in their many flare ups. It’s alluded to and passed over. The fact that HE admits his leaving home right after Caylee was born…the Caylee situation was involved in that per George (along with the internet/money blowing). But, it is never pinned down.

Cindy’s so over the marriage she even see’s the lawyer for a divorce. You do not turn love off and on like a water faucet. She was over the marriage..looking at the big 50 fast approaching & then she HAS to let him back in the door. Another big statement made by George was when the FBI was letting him ramble on. (Bet Cindy loved hearing him state he had lied to her about internet gambling…it was really a Nigerian money scam). But, the big Wham Bam he lets out, is he got the 60K settlement and kept the 40k, giving her 20K…he states to the effect in hindsight he should have given her more…that was an indicator to me that there had been “bad feelings” on Cindy’s part for that.

Now, go back to Hoover’s depositon, which, btw, I liked this guy; he indicates hanky panky going on with D. Casey and Cindy. Me, I think the way Conway rubs her arm as she lies is creepy..but….

We’ve seen some of George’s anger. IE: He waves baseball bats, tells M&M off in the depo, ect.

Ok, I’m getting like Cindy rambling on and on…get to the point. I think George is the ticking timebomb everyone is overlooking here. First off a man who is a former LE doesn’t write a (ever how many paged) suicide note, buy a coupla six packs, take along a couple of pill bottles, text everyone, park right where his car can be seen and order pizza to kill himself.

George is a piece of the “puzzle” I still haven’t found the right spot for. So, I am reading your words carefully. But, any marriage would be strained after the dynamics of this case. In my opinion, the Anthony marriage was over long ago…yet the act is going on. And in my opinion the bomb ticks on… :)

Silverspnr, well they have a strange bird lined up to help them with that, as a volunteer searcher, if you haven’t read her LE transcript yet, well this person was making some accusations of sorts, and George liked her daughter, they bonded apparently, so Cindy had her personal ‘link’ (informant) to ‘inside the TES camp’. Maybe part of her reason to call Tim ‘out’ with her vicious telephone message.

Tim Miller does not need this, nor do the families who have missing loved ones, need that distraction and time away from essential work. I hope that MnJ is able and willing to stick this one out through to the end with Tim MIller, as he deserves an excellent advocate and lawyer.

Silverspnr, they are still claiming in this motion (as with the last one) that Tim Miller and TES were ‘doing business’ as agents of OSCO in Florida, therefore, jurisdiction issues don’t apply. TES working with OSCO is what really seemed to stick in Cindy’s craw.

Am aware of the strange bird to which you refer.
(Found her account maddening, didn’t you?)

Yes, they are alternatively alleging that Miller and TES are “doing business” in Florida. This is another way to establish jurisdiction such that the Court can exercise subpoena power.

Cindy. Hammering signs into her yard. Claiming that SHE was doing Miller some kind of favor/enlightening him about “Missing Persons Department”. George would like the world to see him as “just George”/your ordinary, run-of-the-mill, American man/husband/father/grandfather, harmless, even oppressed.

And it’s easy to fall into that trap with him (because Cindy makes it easy). However, the more you look closely at him, the more you see that he is not this “nice”, honest guy, and the more you see him as another piece of the sad, sick Anthony family portrait. Lies and scams, blame and shame, jealousy and betrayal abound.

  31. boo says:

#367 j.g. It has been posted here that on 8/29? The night of caseys arrest (check fraud)? George had to be pulled off casey. And then when she got bailed out again on 9/5 on approx 9/6 geo got hisself a gun. So he is a ticking timebomb.

  32. silverspnr says:

    BTW-

Just because a party alleges that “X” is “doing business” in the State, does not make it so. Typically, the court will first make that determination (generally using a test set forth in that State’s case law).

To me, this hints that Baez et al are planning to focus on “reasonable doubt”, either as their main defense, or as one of a number of alternative theories as to why Casey is “not guilty”.

The fact that they have stated that she is “innocent” is of no value. They don’t have to prove that she is “innocent”. The burden is on the State to prove that she is guilty of the crime which which she is charged, beyond a reasonable doubt.

It may be part of the pre-trial PR campaign, but it does not serve their client well at trial.

Lawyers who make promises that they cannot keep (with regard to what the evidence will show) are fools.

Look at how well that worked for Mark Geragos, and his client, Scott Peterson (who now sits on Death Row, and who, like Casey, has a photo of his victim on his cell wall. Another useless attempt to feign “innocence”, IMO).

Oh Boy, I am gonna get a big ole wth on this one, but I think Baez ( when I say Baez I mean all the micro brains he is tapping into right now) may know what he is doing.

“Cindy got something out of pretending that Casey was working. IMO Cindy needed Casey and Caylee to depend on her. Notice how she humiliates Casey to the MEN in Casey’s life. Why? Maybe so Casey wouldn’t leave her. It is also possible she discouraged Casey from getting a job.”

I don’t know why Cindy exhibits the vindictiveness/vileness/viciousness, as those might’ve been more expected if she’d perhaps come from an all-female household, or had a whack-job mother or father, which she doesn’t seem to (I heart the Plesea’s). IMHO, Cindy’s alpha-dog characteristics hark back to her position as the only female with 3 male siblings. I’m sure that she ruled those brothers the same way she rules over Casey, the same way she rules aggressively over Conway & the other attorneys, LEOs, msm, Tim Miller, Leonard Padilla, any other man (or woman) thrown in her universe – overbearing/domineering/emasculating. She grew up being competitive with her brothers for attention, she mastered them, ruled them, & sought attention as the only female amongst them. She learned to manipulate & lie, easily & deliberately, without conscience….machiavellian: the ends justifies the means. At least, that’s how I’ve come to understand her, if there is such a thing.

There are several current listings for foreclosed properties on Curry Ford. Was Casey house hunting? Is this a “neutral place”? Who lives here?

  36. j.g. says:

Kleat, I’ve avoided the psych topic where Casey is involved. I always hated psych nursing but, even though not my chosen field, I’ve had to deal with it my whole career, psych patients get sick too. Even have 2 psychiatrist friends and one psycologist. Honestly, you would beat your head against a wall trying to understand what makes Casey’s mind tick. Years of psychoanalysis would be needed. If she does not take a plea and goes to trial and gets the death penality, I can bet there will be a lot of psychoanalysis not only of her and her family but details in the case in the form of books, though. That was the answer I got when I asked one of my psych friends opinion on her the other night.

Remember Marinaide Dave’s youtube video? On his site today he said he was going to do more of that in this case and asked for input on what he should film. I asked him to give a better detail of the thickness of that area in relation to why a body could be in a plastic bag and not be found. And why the area was not searched more in all the searches. He’s going to do it. I think the prosecution should do that instead of the flyby video they put out. AND pull that dang frozen rattlesnake out and lay it on the defense table right in front of Biaz.

Boo, I thought of Padilla saying the guy from Ohio had to pull George off Casey. And the gun. I was more on track of things in the past as mentioned by Lee, and many friends. I don’t know I have thought the gun was because of the hatred from crowds everywhere they went. I do know one thing and I verified that with my psych friend. Men go for the quick violent kills when they are suicidal. I doubt seriously he had enough sleeping pills to kill himself with, a doctor isn’t going to write a script for that many pills especially in a situation like this. Just the scenerio was not a suicidal set up.

I’m going to close this for the night by saying: It seems the Anthony’s are not visiting their daughter in jail. I cannot see it as they are afraid of the video camera’s. My goodness you could sit down and tell your daughter thoughts from your heart and say nothing to make the video incriminating. If their love for Casey is so great and their belief that she is so not guilty….they would be there come hell or high water. I think their daughter has refused their visits. What’d ya think?

“When Cindy drags Casey away from Tony L’s apt, Casey is just pouty. If anything bad had happened to Caylee, wouldn’t Casey have been upset? If Casey had actually had something really bad happen to Caylee, wouldn’t she act guilty or be devastated? Casey’s demeanor and actions had to be reassuring to those grandparents who were now in great need of some reassurance.

Could it be possible that there is no great disgusting family secret that Casey is hiding?”

My simple answer to that lies in Cindy’s words: “..she’s a sociopath”. She observed that Casey’s cool demeanor & actions were consistent with those of a ‘classic’ psychopath. She observed that Casey wasn’t showing signs of guilt or devastation, but I doubt that after enduring the last couple of years of her remorselessness, she’d expect Casey to suddenly grow a conscience!

See, an RN goes through a clinical rotation in Psychiatric Nursing as well as studies of the various personality and mental disorders; Cindy was no exception as she was a licensed RN with years of experience. Cindy knows exactly what she was talking about when she labeled her daughter, not only as a psychopath, but as one who might also be manic/depressive (bipolar) – which tends to be hereditary (George’s sister, Sonie, & possibly George) – & warned off others about her. (Manic/depressives in the “mixed state” frequently have suicidal/homicidal ideations, & it’s in this state that they’ll act on them, as opposed to the times when they’re fully manic or fully depressive.)

She knew what her daughter might be capable of; she’d smelled the stench of death in that Pontiac. She was uncertain whether Casey was simply toying with her “as usual”, or had permanently erased Caylee from the planet Earth.

And how I personally distinguish a ‘sociopath’ from a ‘psychopath’ is from a cultural perspective…sociopathic traits might be associated more with a desire to belong to a specific group with a cultural or social identity, like members of a gang, so that their lack of boundaries are defined in the context of that group. If the group requires loyalty defined by doing drive-by’s, then the individual does a drive-by to remain a member of the group and doesn’t have any remorse about it. On the other hand, psychopathic traits are broader, not confined by association with any specific social or cultural group. This may not be how others view it, and you’re welcome to distinguish it your own personal way…and the APA throws them both under the same broader umbrella called anti-social personality disorder anyway.

    Hi,
I am in no way tooting my horn but I had to move out of my house at 16 years old because my mom was a nurxe, very controlling and very hateful, vindictive, sneaky and controlling.
I raised two sons alone by myself, got a certificate for medical assisting, legal assistant and started law school, when the OJ trial verdict happened I switched my degree and got one in Radio. Tv and Film and a minor in lighting design.
I was stalked by a man that had killed his own brother for 7 years and have done all kinds of charity work and a domestic violence advocate, blah blah blah. and my mom is ALWAYS saying mean things to me about how I do things, say things, raised my sons (which by the way are both in the military and pretty neat gentlemen)
She now lives across the street from me and I take care of her and have a sociopath sister, one sister with abusive behavior like my mom, two alcoholic brothers (one was put up for adoption at birth but I met him years later as I found him).
She is almost 80 years old and I still can’t get a thank you out of her. Even if I cook dinner or make a dessert to take to her, she always finds something awful to say. I had to stay away and go to therapy and 12 step programs to find out what reality was.
It is very hard to get out of a family like this as it will strangle you if you let it.
I personally (when very very young put string in my moms coffee out of rage towards her) I do seriously believe that this is why Caylee is dead. My mom will NEVER admit she is wrong. or that there is a way besides hers. I am just so greatful for therapists that do cognitive therapy and 12 step support programs.
I was just so strong somehow to get out!
My sister is very sick and should be in a mental institution as she will not take medicine to help her. She is married to a freak that has possibly molested her grand daughter and he did it to me as an adult and it has been blamed on me…. so we just need to realize here that no matter how angry that we become at CIndy and Casey, George and lee is that, they are VERY VERY sick but so tangled that they think it is us that are evil.
I pray for them as I am sure alot of people do and I am hoping SOMEHOW that they stand up and fight for Caylee in court.
If they do this they will be free. They also need to get back to work and do something for someone else…
break the chains… sorry talked so much but this sickness really makes me think of what I could be and what I am not.
I just hope that at least one thing good comes out of this situation.

Nancy, what an inspiring post. To be able to open your heart and still help your Mother speaks to your great character. I am going to ask you, in your work against domestic violence, to review and spread the word on Christine’s Sheddy’s case. Will you?

I’m only speculating here, but might it not be possible that Casey was being diagnosed w/bipolar disorder & that was the “big family secret”, the Cindy/Casey “I haven’t told them anything” bombshell intriguing everyone? The bombshell that gets her that insanity plea?

  41. boo says:

My thoughts are baez coaching casey. Makes casey dissociated from her family so later when he points the finger at them as the killers, the jury will feel sympathy and understand her “ugly coping”.

Remember how angry she got with them before and her non-verbal (body language) — a picture’s worth a thousand words, and that spoke VOLUMES. Baez wouldn’t risk additional footage/frame captures of her getting angry with them, & they’re such a volatile group that even small talk could explode! JMHO.

  43. boo says:

    Um disassociated? Spell check?

  44. Kleat says:

What’d I think, j.g.?? Absolutely agree on your last two points– and haven’t thought about the first two yet– buy yeah, I doubt that was a real suicide attempt, just like Cindy’s. I don’t doubt they ‘thought the thought’ ‘at the moment’ but about a gun and men, heard that a lot. George wanted some away time and it worked for public sympathy I suppose, not serious attempt or he’d not have ended up in a motel room with beer.

Maybe Baez et al doesn’t want to chance the parents visiting his client as she may say something, or show her anger again. Maybe the defense plan is to not allow the public to get to see more of Casey, over time, the image will soften, and then when Casey comes back into the public eye more often in trial, she will have morphed into someone, who can emote better to fit what the defense wants her to show. By then, she will have had more nightmares, nightsweats, stress, depression, suicide attempts, etc, whatever works.

I bet the defense is going to use Dr. Hare’s ideas of a physiological difference that is measurable and they’ll do a Matlock, with flashing lights and impressive scientific dohickies and gizmos whirring around to beguile and amaze. (well, they could illustrate the difference in how Casey would react to a word vs a ‘normal’ person.

There is another article linked on Dr. Hare’s site that goes a step further in this– an article published in the New Yorker Mag where one researcher wants to prove that psychopaths should be treated like other psych disorders that are treatable. But the reason, from the brief overview I’ve read (NO expertise claimed at ALL!) that psychopaths are unlikely to respond to treatment, is that they see no need to change, they like what they are doing.

Baez and crew, might make history trying this notion out:
    http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2008/11/10/081110fa_fact_seabrook

    – if they succeeded in establishing precedent for treating psychopaths as a sympathetic problem, what would it mean for our modern society that already is suited so well for psychopaths to thrive in, for the internet and for corporate structures that are perfectly suited for the predators, according to Hare.

Maybe she did usually steal tho cause she was good at figuring out how to steal grandma`s money, i wouldnt have a clue how to do that.
I know one thing for sure, my credit cards would not have been anywhere that she could find them if she had stolen from me. Cindy seems to have STUPID written across her forehead, if she couldnt figure out how to stop her. Someone asked where the 40,000 figure came in , I believe that was Cindy`s brother, Rick, who threw out that figure so who knows if it really is that high, but george said it was lots and lots of money. Guess it all comes back to enabling Casey, and helping her become the person she is today. who knows if this or true or not, but conway said Baez didnt want G & C to visit Casey anymore. If that is true, it certainly makes me wonder why baez would do that. If I was a parent who loved my jailed daughter that wouldnt be enough reason for me. To me, Casey deserves no better, but she must live one hell of a lonely life

Blink – If the defense is going after “reasonable doubt” as to whether the remains would have been found earlier or could have been placed there later, would it be useful of the State to try to disprove this by re-creating the crime scene – like they did with the pizza in the trunk – in other words, put something into the woods, “triple-bagging it like it was trash”, and then see if it can be found, given that the weather conditions are the same (standing water, snakes, hurricanes, etc.)??

This is all being done, without question. They are backing off the timeline being off as it goes to her remains I am sure, they cant win that battle and they will pizz off the jury that has to sit through the dry expert testimony. The pics of bones and mingled baby clothing, with this innocent childs taped skull is the last thing they want jurors focused on.
